foreign thank you for being here too this piano the p45 I have done tons of videos on for time and Memorial and unfortunately it's now not being sold and there but there is a new replacement which is the p145 and we're going to go through that just about now [Music] thank you [Music] comparison tell me what you think through the speakers sound remarkably similar we'll unplug them in a bit and compare the speakers but again this is here mainly to let you know this was a store it's so many people bought this piano because it
was amazing value and this is two big updates are not only just the way this looks as of like 2023 but also the keyboard action is different so let's try give you an honest appraisal of how that feels um I do something this is about the fiddliest thing I know [Music] [Applause] [Music] [Applause] right so this is called the GHC action this was the ghs and let's feel the keys it's a little bit I think they feel remarkably similar and I think that's what they're going for the what I read about this is that the
GHC has allowed them to cut a bit of weight so this is almost half a kilogram lighter uh which is a good thing but I really can't feel much of a difference uh the dynamism was there like that's a good thing for me to test because it's um my strong hand and uh trying to get that um dynamic levels Easy Pieces so that's cool let's just rattle through the sounds because one of the things you're getting at this price point is a great piano Yamaha Akin and pianist you can hear that it sounds fantastic but
we're not getting a ton of other sounds there's just 10 tones in here so let's flick through and see if they've updated any of those uh it says they use a new sound engine but let's see if they're being honest um this is the first piano on this one piano two [Music] piano two on here foreign let's try this electric piano see what they got going [Music] piano two here um okay yeah [Music] piano two here [Music] organ up on this one [Music] okay uh I'd never know what to play on these ones uh [Music]
organ [Music] weirdly that's the first big difference I've heard is I'm Neil Piper [Music] uh more effects in there [Music] night and day so if you want to play pipe organ this is the one to get well this is the only one you can get that's it just let you know this is the new kid on the Block and it's still the same killing price feels just as good sounds as good looks way more applicable for now I think I love the detailing let's just do we might as well wrap through these we've got harpsichord

this is real life demoing so USB so they both have USB and I used to sell this a lot to my friends to say that if you wanted an 88 key MIDI controller I recommend them buying this because you got the USB out takes up it's as small as you're going to get an 88 keyboard in terms of Mass on the table great action but also you've got speakers in it so if your laptop goes down or you just want to start making music it's a great buy for that so you've still got that functionality
what I do see is they've got the pedal unit so I'm guessing that you can get a three pedal unit to go with this so if you're in the higher grades above grade five in England you'll need to start using the other pedals so that's pretty cool on there other than that I hope they give you an idea of what these pianos sound like and namely that this is the new kit on the Block there is a sound boost other features we've got metronome and you can record and I think this hooks up to an
app correct me if I'm wrong but the sound boost I want to listen to and we're going to appraise the volume of the speakers because I promised to do that earlier on so oz to your stations can you mute me in there and we'll switch over now yeah first piano check out this foreign [Applause] [Music] like that because this sounds I'd say 236 better than that right [Music] maybe you're giving them the lapel audio at this point thanks us because what have they done they've killed it on the speakers wow had no idea uh sound
boost let's see what it does so I'm guessing I hold function um right so yeah that's interesting [Music] off off [Music] yeah that's just got to be a volume boost doesn't seem like it's adding gain or anything like that um thank you sound boost on yeah it's seems like it's goosing the speakers so if you really a lot of people use these for choirs or even in dance classes and because it's so portable with the speakers and uh if someone's like oh we can't hear you I think that's a really interesting feature it's just you're
sacrificing a little bit of it sounds like it's compressing a bit more it's definitely not distorting so you're not getting Clarity but it is louder so that's a nice one anyway that's enough see you soon onions TV
