Thank you. Thank you. Greetings, my friends.
Professor Bosano here with you for another session. Today, a very special guest, already a partner of the house, our police officer Oliveira, who is a PMSC officer. He will be contributing to our live stream today.
The notice is published, the exam date is set, so we have no time to waste. Got it? We are in a very cool series of live streams.
We already had the live stream with our Captain Norberto talking about military criminal law. It remains recorded here on our channel. Today with our Corporal Oliveira, tomorrow with our Sergeant Souza, and Friday with our colleague and partner, Private Thaís.
Okay? So stay with us, don't forget, leave your like below, share this video, and subscribe to our channel, because we are preparing many interesting things, lots of content for this PMSC exam. And you have to stay tuned if you really want to pass, okay?
If you want to leave the spot to the competition, let someone else follow our channel. Let me call our colleague, our partner Oliveira, to our live stream today. Good evening, my brother.
How are you? >> Good evening, Bosano. Everything good, my brother?
Thank God, everything is fine. >> I want to thank my friend for being here. I know you perform your public duty there.
And when you're off duty, you have other tasks, you have family, and even so, you found some time to contribute with us. Thank you very much , my brother. >> I am the one who thanks you, my brother .
We are always available, right? It is the usual rush, but our intention here is always to contribute, to clear the doubts of people who are preparing for the public exam. So we are always available.
>> We're in this together, my brother. Before we start the subject, if you could briefly introduce yourself, because there are people who might not know your history, the work you perform in the Military Police today, and also as a contest mentor. >> Wonderful, Bosano.
Let's do it. I have been here in Santa Catarina for over 13 years now. I am a native of Mato Grosso , but I grew up in Cascavel.
I was raised in the 14 de Novembro favela. I am a guy who became a father very early . I experienced fatherhood at 16 years of age, Bosano.
So, uh, I grew up there in Cascavel, in 14 de Novembro. Uh, when, since I became a father very young, Busa, I said: "No, I need to seek stability, I want to give my daughter a better future. " So, I started looking, uh, I first went to study journalism.
So, at 17, I already entered journalism school, then I graduated in law as well; today I am also a law graduate. And then, around that time, I started looking into the world of public service exams, right? Ah, because I wanted that security, that stability that all of Brazil is looking for.
So, I took many exams, several exams between, uh, 2012 and 2013. I passed some exams, but I failed a ton of them, Buzano, really a lot, you know? I always talk only about the passes.
Then I. . .
but I don't talk much about the failures, there are many failures too. I took the PMSC exam in 2013, went to work in Brusque, worked for a year in Brusque, and then I came to Navegantes, where I remain to this day. So, until 2017, I worked in the Radio Patrol.
After 2017, I took an internal exam and came to the tactical group, where I remain to this day in the tactical group here, which is known as the PPT, right, the Tactical Patrol Platoon, performing the role of a tactical operator. Uh, today we cover several cities there: Navegantes, Penha , Piçarras, Luiz Alves, Barra Velha, right, São João do Itaperiú. So we drive around, not to mention the support missions, right, Busan?
We go over to São José, Florianópolis, Brusque, Joinville, we go to several, several cities in the state, Blumenau, right, always providing, uh, support. It's a very dynamic and, uh, sensational job, right? Uh, today, man, I get a real thrill out of doing what I do today, you know?
A childhood dream, and when I'm working, we're working, right? You're, you're out on patrol, we , uh, see the kids, right? Uh, it's a lot of adults too, right?
With, with a lot of pride, with a lot of drive, because it's a profession that, that really, it brings this this man, this gratitude, right, of you contributing to, to, well, putting criminals in their place, but contributing to society. And society sees this with, with many eyes, right? You feeling protected.
So, man, every child that looks, uh, uh, at a police officer there, that's their hero, right? Including, right? Men and women, when they look like this, they say: "Man, this is the guy protecting us, this is the guy who's going to face any adversity that comes our way, right?
" He's the guy who runs toward danger when everyone else is running away, right? So you see that look from society when you're patrolling and talking to people, right? And it's very rewarding.
I am certain that I believe I chose the best profession in the world. Bosan. Especially, my brother, when we talk about Santa Catarina, a state that really embraces the police, especially the Military Police, right?
I say that because, unfortunately, some states in Brazil don't see the police, don't value public safety like the people of Santa Catarina do. And here I am not, uh, demeaning anyone. I know that, I know there are good people and there are bad people, you know?
That's true everywhere in the world. However, when we talk about a state, Paraná is also very, very, uh, warm towards police forces. But when we talk about the South, Paraná, Santa Catarina, Rio Grande do Sul, it seems like the eyes of police exam candidates even light up , right?
In fact, many students here on the platform have already told me: "I don't want to know about the Federal Police, I don't want to know about the Highway Patrol, I want to be an officer in Santa Catarina, I want to be an officer in Paraná, because it's a good state, right? " People even comment, man , I'm going to the Highway Patrol, I'm going to Amazonas, to Pará, to a place that doesn't like police to stay at the border, that's not my thing, I want to be in a good state, I want to be in a good institution. And the PMSC is like that, right, man?
>> It's, it's, it's sensational. I joined at a very good moment for the Military Police, when we moved from a salary-based system to a subsidy-based one. Uh, that change was very good.
And I also joined at a time when we received many, many resources, many pieces of equipment, right? So, today we have a lot of technology. That's why the PM is considered the best police force in Brazil, and it has been for several years and continues to be, right?
Right? And sometimes people ask me, I talk about this, and they say: " Oh, but why, why is it considered that way? " What are the requirements that are taken into consideration?
The crime rates that are very low, right? And especially, right? The preparation, the equipment, right?
The police training. So, there are several requirements, several requirements, right? that are taken into account to give this title of the best police force in Brazil.
And we have carried this title for a long time, right? Today I think that in terms of training and equipment, like patrol cars, we are doing very well, right? There is a very good delivery on the part of the state for us, when you have this support, the work flows much better.
That's why the rates remain very low and we continue to be the best police force in Brazil. And many people want to come here, to Santa Catarina, because of the security. When you talk to someone like you, I'm there, look, from the state of Pará, from the Northeast, many people tell me: " Oliveira, I came here because of the security, it wasn't even because of work, but over there, the factions took over, it's the factions that are in charge and so on.
""And I came to Santa Catarina really because of the security . " And it's really cool for us to hear that, right? And because we are part of this, right?
So, this work is sensational. >> And like, what I am most amazed and happy about, is that Santa Catarina is a state that really invests in the police, invests in infrastructure, quality. And every police force, be it military police, civil police, or penal police, is really concerned about qualifying its officers.
I say for myself, in the Penal Police, I had several instructors with international courses, with several national courses as well from other police forces, very strong ones, instructors who even held national and international titles in sports modalities, sports shooting, jiu-jitsu. And this is not just in the Penal Police, but the Military Police of Santa Catarina itself, right? Instructors with courses in the United States, with courses in Europe, who bring that to the troops.
And you, sometimes, right, the future police officer, currently a candidate, will often have the opportunity to have an instructional staff that follows a highly qualified doctrine, right, man? >> Yeah, that's exactly it, right? We have many very, very qualified professionals , yes, outside of Brazil, right?
Today, a lot of people are going to the United States to seek this knowledge, so there are many highly capable professionals here to provide instruction, to prepare you, and we provide that response out on the street with professionalism. >> Exactly. Exactly.
But, my brother, we had this quick chat just to give a taste of what the future holds for the candidates, but let's talk about the first stage. Which is the toll. Everyone has to pay the toll to reach the destination, right?
If we don't pay the toll and travel the path, we won't get there. Which is the objective test, right, my brother? If you don't pass the objective test, there's nothing.
If you don't pass the physical fitness test, there's nothing. Actually, this competition is the other way around, right? It's first the health exam and the psychological/toxicological test, and then the physical fitness test, right?
I liked that. >> Yeah. Yeah.
And this helps a lot, right ? It partly selects some people, and partly because there aren't so many people getting sick, right? At the physical fitness test, I've already seen some who don't prepare, right?
They don't prepare in advance, they get to the test, get sick, cause a scene for us, pass out, and there's the ambulance carrying them away because they didn't prepare for the physical test. So, with this reversal, we arrive a bit more prepared at the physical fitness test, and it manages to filter things out a bit. >> Yeah.
And eventually, it's that thing, right? Hey, guys, prepare yourselves financially, take care of your health, you know? Because you're going to have an expense with these exams, and if you eventually don't get approved, you won't go to the physical fitness test, right?
So, I really liked that they inverted it, right? Unfortunately, the guy is already going to have the expense of the exams now, right? But it's not something from another world, either.
Often, when I did my toxicological exam, for example, for the Penal Police of Paraná, I did it in Curitiba. I did it in Paraná, sorry , when I did my toxicology exam for the Santa Catarina Penal Police, I did my toxicology, the exam, right, uh, in Paraná, in Curitiba. Why?
Because it was cheaper and they delivered the report faster, right? Sometimes, because it's a larger capital, Curitiba , they had more, uh, partner laboratories. So, sometimes you can do that too.
I'm already giving you a tip, right, which I'm sure our teacher Roberto also gives in the mentorship about the toxicology exam, that sometimes, if you, uh, look for a larger city closer to your home, you can find more. . .
since there are more laboratories, not just one or two, the price of the exam drops and the delivery time is faster, right? But anyway, getting back to the point, master, if you don't pass the objective exam, there is no physical fitness test . If you don't pass the physical fitness test, there are no subsequent stages.
If you don't pass the other stages, there is no training course. If you don't pass the training course, you aren't, uh, qualified. And if one day the guy wants to become a tactical officer, for example, like you, he has to pay this price.
And it all starts now, doesn't it? And if you don't have a plan now, you're toast. >> Yeah, exactly, right?
Uh, we spoke here , our hook for this class, for this meeting, was exactly that, right? Stop studying without a plan, right? Uh, you need to have a plan.
Right now, we are practically 50 days away from the objective exam, and there are many people who want to take this exam but haven't even read the notice yet, right ? They haven't even seen the topics in the notice. Have you seen what's on the essay portion?
How do you need to submit the essay? Have you seen, uh, the weight of each subject? So that is part of your planning, right?
If you are going to play a game, you first need to understand the rules, right? Understand how the game works before you enter the game, right? And that's how it is, okay?
This is exactly the job of, uh, the mentorship, right? This is a mentor's job, right? That we are here to, to direct the student, to assist, right?
With, especially these points, because there are students who take all the content and then they don't know which one has more priority. Sometimes they study content that only has, you know, five questions. Let's talk, for example, about this notice, right?
We're talking about institutional legislation, which has 10 questions, right? We're talking about Portuguese, which has eight questions. So, you have to prioritize this subject .
Oh, no, but I have trouble with computer science. I'll study computer science, but there are only five questions on it, right? So, this is about balancing the weight for your study schedule, for your planning, right?
Oh, Oliveira, but I've been studying for a while, I was already preparing and I'm not going to do institutional legislation. Perfect. That's exactly it.
If you already master this topic, there's no reason to waste time on something you already know. We're just going to move on, right? With reviews, with filtered questions from the AOCP board.
No, it doesn't make sense. At this point in the game, the guy shouldn't be doing questions from another board. Now, every filter on the question platform he uses has to be AOCP, right?
This is a direction you need to have. So, don't study without a schedule, don't study without a plan. You have to know how much time is left and distribute all the content you need to see over these 50 days.
I'm not going to tell you that you need to study 8 hours a day, okay? I won't tell you, oh, you need to study 6 hours a day now to pass, but I will give you here what you need to see in these 50 days. And then you figure out how to fit it into your routine, right?
But that's it, you need to have a plan to reach the objective test competitively. Eh, what Bzano mentioned there too, right? The Physical Fitness Test.
To get to the physical test, you need to reach the objective test. But you saw what's on the physical test, right? Why?
If you're overweight, if you can't do a single pull-up, will you be able to do it in 15 days? It's not possible. So you have to handle the upcoming phases in parallel, too, right ?
If you looked at the notice and saw a requirement you don't meet, for example , right? You aren't 1. 60 m tall, so man , there's nothing you can do.
You won't grow any taller, right, Gozana? There's nothing to be done. So, that's why the first mission, right, for anyone just getting started with this exam, is to read the official notice, okay?
I recommend a quick reading first, and then what I call a surgical reading, where you go through the most important points in the notice, right? And only then, after that, you will create a verticalized study plan based on the weight of each question, right? It’s no use focusing there, oh, I’ll focus on a subject that has no weight.
It’s no use sometimes focusing on content, for example, like institutional legislation, if there's no history that that specific syllabus actually appears , right? So, what do we do within the mentorship? We conduct an investigation looking for the format the OCP uses and how they have been exploring the themes of the questions.
Then we look for what actually appears in the PMSC, the content that appeared in the last PMSC exams, and in the recent exam as well, which was for temporary positions. So you search for that, then you cross-reference it with the notice, and you get a lean study plan that has a high probability of appearing. If you want to study all the content in that notice right now, man, it’ll take 50 days, and you’ll be staying up all night and still won't be able to finish it, right?
So you need to have this methodology of investigating the exam board. So, before you start the game, understand the game. >> Master, you made a very interesting point there, which is to read the notice and familiarize yourself with the requirements.
>> And one of the questions from the guys, right, I’ll bring my point of view, then you bring yours, and if we disagree on anything, so be it. But, for example, many people are worried about the higher education requirement, right? What happens?
What I’ve been telling the folks at home is, for higher education, we have that associate degree, right? A 2-year associate degree that is accepted by the institution. As far as I know, right?
And remember, folks, the requirement in the notice for higher education is presented later on; you don't present it now. But here we have two points, two points that need some attention. The first point regarding higher education is that there are many online courses that are those 12-month sequential associate degrees.
I once knew someone who was in the Santa Catarina Military Police training course, and shortly before graduation, he was dismissed due to an investigation into everyone's documentation during the course. And then it was discovered that his associate degree was actually a sequential program, right? And the Military Police didn't accept it, at least that's what I was told at the time.
I'd like to pass this over to our colleague Roberto here, because as far as I know, brother, only the Minas Gerais Military Police accepts those 12 -month sequential programs. I think for our Military Police here, it has to be at least a 2-year associate degree. I don't know.
>> Yeah, an associate degree is still valid today, okay? The associate degree is accepted. No, no, I don't think it needs to be 2 years, but it does need to be recognized by the Ministry of Education.
Many people start now that the public notice is out, and these questions come up, right? If you want to become a military police officer today and don't have a higher education degree yet, that's no excuse not to be studying; don't wait for the perfect moment. I had already spoken to Bzano here in another meeting we had, okay?
You can prepare for the objective exam in parallel with your degree today. Why ? What happens?
The requirement is only requested during the document submission phase. That is a phase that can take a while. When you pass the objective exam, sometimes you might end up in a second call, for example.
And the second call might only happen after the first class graduates. So, it can take time, giving you enough time to finish your studies, to finish your higher education, to finish your degree . So don't hold yourself back, making up excuses.
"Oh, no, I'll only start when I've graduated, when I have the diploma in hand," okay? Start now. And another thing, okay?
If you managed to pass this exam now, brother, you will certainly pass the next one too. So, if everything goes wrong and you passed the objective exam but still don't have the diploma, rest assured, brother, you will pass the next one, okay? If you had the knowledge and managed to pass this one, the next one will be a breeze too.
Now, don't just sit there waiting for the perfect moment. There were many people, okay, who finished, uh, took the test, were approved, and when they were called, they already had their diploma in hand, okay? Including, right , Busana in the Penal Police exam.
That’s the most classic case, right, that >> yeah, I wasn't even a graduate, I wasn't even a graduate when I took the exam, look. And it happened to a lot of people as well. Eh, so don't get hung up.
Oh, I don't have a higher education degree yet. Take the test, prepare for the test, okay? So don't stay, don't make up excuses not to be approved.
You will manage to be approved in parallel with your graduation. Sometimes there's enough time to turn in the diploma during the document submission phase, because that can take a while. There were some exams, Busana, where moving to the back of the line was accepted, okay?
I don't, I don't know, I can't be sure if it will be accepted in this one , but in the PMSC there were some that accepted moving to the back of the line . So, oh, you were called and aren't going to take the position yet. You requested, I think via legal means, to move to the back of the line, and then when you were called again, you already had the diploma, okay?
I can't be sure about this one because I haven't seen the specific notice. >> Exactly, that is the second situation I was going to comment on with our friend , because, for example, if we compare the 2023 public notice, they called 500 , then they called another 500, and then came that Supreme Court decision regarding the women, which meant it all had to be open competition. So they did a mathematical, arithmetic calculation there, and if I'm not mistaken, there was a training course for 300 and some female officers only, to make up, right , for the situation regarding the quantity.
So, back in 2023, from a notice for 500 vacancies, the Military Police appointed over 1,300. But that was what? Gradual, right?
So I guarantee that many people didn't have their degree back then, when they took the exam, when the notice opened. So that will happen now, because our governor said at a ceremony that it would be a contest for 1,000 vacancies, right? And there at that ceremony for the temporary staff, there, I think a lot of people got confused.
He didn't mention calling 1,000 more temporary staff, nor did he talk about a selection process for 1,000. He said a contest for 1,000 vacancies, and then the notice for 500 came out. Just as it happened in 2019 and in 2023 with a notice for 500, but they did T1 and T2, and in 2023 they did T3, right?
So now I believe we will have at least the first group with 500, and in 2028 a second group with another 500. So, there’s plenty of time for the guy to finish his higher education degree. >> For sure.
Uh, the public competition here in Santa Catarina is an excellent one, right? And it’s not that competitive, Bosano. So, if you have any doubts today, you’ll leave here and get ready for your registration, okay?
Because this thing we just mentioned, that Bzano just brought up, man. If you were still like, "oh, I don't have my associate's degree yet," or "I haven't finished high school yet. ""Oh, because I don't have a higher education degree yet.
" Take the test. Take the test, okay? Uh, just so you have an idea, in this last competition in 2023, the competition was 26 candidates per spot.
If you analyze it, Bzan, if you have a fresher number in mind, help me out, but the Civil Police competition, the last one, the competition was huge, really huge, right? So there’s no comparison. 26 per spot is not real competition.
And this one coming up will certainly be a bit more competitive, but there’s no comparison. So this is the moment to secure your spot. You need to score in all subjects.
So you can’t just say, "oh, I don't understand Portuguese, I won't study it, I'll just leave it be. " No, you need to, you know, include all subjects in your schedule because you will need to score in all of them. And here’s the detail, right?
For your essay to be graded, you have to be among the top 2,000, uh, qualified candidates, right? The essay will only be graded for the top 2,000. So, if you are in 2001st place, your essay won't be graded, right?
It will simply stay there, unless there is, you know, a new call, but otherwise your essay won't be graded. So, it is a job you need to do with the whole set. It’s no use focusing sometimes, you know, just on the heavier ones, like, uh, Portuguese, institutional legislation, no.
You need to take everything together and think about the essay too. Okay? Because if you qualify, your essay can put you way up there.
>> Yeah, professor, this is a very serious matter, because, look, we’re talking about a core civil service exam here, okay? They removed logical-mathematical reasoning, which was a very boring subject, truly very boring. And they prioritized the exam in the sense that out of 60 questions, we have 47 on law and legislation.
I want you to show me a Military Police exam like this. We just had one the week before last. I won’t show you the meme here because by the time I found it, I wouldn’t bother.
Anyway, they had the Military Police of Maranhão exam. I don’t know if you saw it, but they made a meme of a police officer holding a keyboard instead of a rifle, because there were 25 IT questions alone on the Maranhão PM exam. They made a meme holding the keyboard like this, look.
And so many other police forces, São Paulo for example, Portuguese, math, logic, history, geography, essay, there are only five law questions on the São Paulo PM exam, for example. So here, it’s a different reality. It’s overvaluing law and legislation, and an essay that makes all the difference.
I, for example, in 2023, I took the PMSC exam. I placed very well on the objective test, but I had my essay graded. Because of my essay score, I didn't make it to the physical fitness test, right?
And I had placed very well . So here I am, you’re looking at the example of a stubborn person who thought that securing a good objective test score would get them into the physical fitness test. And I didn’t, I didn’t make it.
But then I was appointed to the Santa Catarina Penal Police. It’s an exam where I didn’t write an essay; there was no essay. I think that’s why I passed.
But professional guidance now will make all the difference. Why? Because there are many people who will only study law and legislation, thinking they’ll be safe with that.
And that could also be shooting yourself in the foot, because we have a lot of other material to study as well. But if you neglect the essay, you could ace the objective test , man. Because of a bad essay score, you’re going to get left behind.
And I >> give you a warning right here. There are many sharp people coming for this PM exam. "Ah, professor, but there’s an age limit.
""There won’t be that much competition, there won’t be that many candidates. " Especially those who are right on the edge of the age limit, right, Professor Roberto? These people are now quitting their jobs just to study, they’re hiring nannies to watch their kids, they’re burning their bridges, because it’s their last chance.
The crowd that’s at 27, from 27 up to just under 30 years old, that’s it, they’re at the tail end of the kite. These folks are selling their souls to the devil >> to pass this exam, because we’re seeing it, right professor, the Military Police won’t raise the age limit. I find it very unlikely that this change to the statute will actually happen.
I find it very unlikely, you know? That’s not the profile for Santa Catarina, maybe for Amazonas, Sergipe, or Rio Grande do Norte, where nobody wants to go. So they raised the age limit, but that’s not the situation in Santa Catarina.
So anyone at the tail end of the kite is selling their soul to the devil to pass this exam. There are many candidates out there who took the Rio Grande do Sul Civil Police, Santa Catarina Civil Police, Rio Grande do Sul Penal Police, and Paraná Civil Police exams. Four, four major exams that will come crushing it into this Santa Catarina Military Police exam.
Crushing it. I have no doubt, professor. >> Yeah, we also had the Itajaí Municipal Guard, we also had the Piçarras Municipal Guard, right, which also already prepares for the public exam.
I often say, Bzano, that it has nothing to do with luck, right? It has to do with consistency, method, and routine, right? You need to have a study routine , right?
a preparation, and these previous exams gave that to these students, right? So the guy didn't manage to pass the Municipal Guard exam , right? Because there were only 20 spots, right?
Now there are 1,000 for him to compete for. He has already built the consistency. Today, most of the students who come to me, they arrive saying: "Oliveira, I can't stay consistent, I can't stay focused, I study for half an hour, then I pick up my phone to see what's going on.
" Yeah, they can't stay focused. And when you manage to understand this, that you need to study, when you look at a patrol car, right? And you see Oliveira passing by in the PPT, when you see the warrior passing by in a radio patrol car or in BOPE, when you see that warrior passing by in the helicopter, in the helicopter, right, in our Eagle 07.
Man, that warrior doesn't have anything more than you; he's just like you, there's no difference. The only thing is that he studied, he planned, and he succeeded, right? So that should serve, right, as motivation for you to study, right?
It’s consistency, isn't it? You say, "Oh, I'll study for these 50 days, oh, it didn't work out, I won't study anymore, I'll only study when the Penal Police notice opens," but then there won't be enough time. So , it’s consistency.
Exactly as Buzano just said, the warriors who took the recent exams, those who took the Military Police temporary exam, those who took the Civil Police exam here in Santa Catarina, the Paraná Civil Police, the municipal guards, they are already in this flow of consistency, so you just need to adjust your route now, take it, do the investigation we do here on the exam board so you study what really matters, right? And look, you can get this approval, for sure, okay? This is the moment.
As Buzano said, this is the contest, man, it's the contest for you to be able to get into the uniform, okay? No excuses, no whining. "Oh no, I only have one hour a day, man.
" What do you do from midnight to 6 AM, right? Go study, okay? I even have a photo here that I always show, which was my little study corner there.
And sometimes I stayed up until 4 in the morning studying, right? The next day, at 9 AM, I was already working. So , if you want it, if you know where you want to go, you’ll go get it, right?
So, I always ask a question: how much are you willing to pay, right, to get into the uniform, right? How much is it worth for you to wear the uniform today , right? And we aren't talking about money here, we’re talking about you being willing to lock yourself away, to stay there, you know, those 50 days studying so that when you leave, you leave with the approval.
We’re talking about you giving up, you know, sometimes going out to the mall so that you can study instead. So the warrior doesn't see limits in that, okay? Because here we are talking about different things, right?
Value and price are different things, right? So, how much are you willing to pay? To see yourself in uniform, to fulfill that childhood dream, to show your kids, your family, right?
To make them proud, to be called into your daughter's school, right? The teacher says: "Hey, Officer Oliveira, when are you coming in so your son's classmates can meet you, to talk about your job on Career Day, right? " Think of the pride your child will have in that, right?
Not to mention the stability that all of Brazil seeks today, which is the public service, knowing that at the end of the month, your salary will be in the account, that you have that stability, that every 5 years you get 3 months of premium leave, that your vacation. . .
I talk to many people who join here, who say: "Look, this was my first vacation, I had never taken a vacation, and here you get your full vacation," right? You get your vacation bonus, go on vacation , and when you return, the salary is full, it's different from a regular job , right? Every 5 years, three months of paid premium leave.
To travel abroad, to enjoy your family, it's paid, right? That's besides many other benefits that I won't list here, you'll discover them in practice, right? We're talking about shift schedules, right?
Here, well, today our schedule is effectively 24 hours on, 72 off. So, there's plenty of time for a side activity, plenty of time for your hobbies, to enjoy your family, to even study for another exam, right? So, get serious now and pursue your approval.
You've got 50 days. It's what I always say too, master, you were perfect in everything you said. We live , especially the folks on the coast of Santa Catarina, right?
Big cities, Balneario, Itajai, Joinville, Navega, Itapema, Floripa. So, people are very used to it. Clubbing, hanging out, the mall, the ladies, you know?
the the the going to the little bar, the pagode, you know? Praia Brava. People are very used to that.
People are very used to it because today, even a regular employee or a freelancer working on the coast of Santa Catarina is often making good money, but they have to work their tails off, you know? Working 50, 60 hours a week. But then, often they also want to have fun, enjoy the mess, enjoy the nightlife, the girls, their friends .
But now is not the time, right? When we, when Professor Oliveira spoke here about what you're willing to do for the uniform, it's exactly this: it's saying no to friends, saying no to hanging out , it's saying no. If you really have to work 10, 12 hours a day, you'll do that , and in your free time, you will study .
If you can sometimes reduce your working hours to earn a little less but study more, you'll do that too. Folks, we are talking about 50 days until the test. No, we're not giving you a life sentence where you'll spend the rest of your life like a saddled horse, right?
But it's worth pointing out here, Professor, that people really have to do what needs to be done, invest time and invest money, because it's the home stretch. It's a very short contest, less than 2 months between the opening of registrations and the objective exam . The Military Police, for example, the Civil Police of Santa Catarina had more than 100 days until the objective exam after the notice.
The Civil Police of Paraná had more than 100 days after the notice, but you have to agree that those were notices with totally different content, right? With accounting, statistics, and very heavy computer science. Here, you don't have any of that, man.
But you still have to study. >> That's right. There's no magic formula, is there?
You have to think exactly as Bandana said, it's an investment. And we aren't even talking about money here , we're talking about you investing your time so that you can later reap the rewards for the rest of your life, right? Because you know you'll have an automatic career path.
So, after you pass this public contest, you passed for the PMC, you joined, your progression is automatic. So you will rise up through the career, right? You will progress automatically.
So, hey, it's worth it for you to put in the effort now so you can have that stability later, right? Whenever people talk to me, they ask: "Hey, Oliveira, what's your methodology there? What is it that you do?
Why is it that in such a short time as a mentor, you already have people passing the Municipal Guard , Civil Police, and Military Police exams? What is the method you use there ? Tell us how you manage that, and so on.
" Look, there's no magic here, okay? There's no magic. Here we work with theory, practice questions, and reviews , right?
And I am exactly as I am talking to you right now. There's no messing around, no excuses, you just have to execute. If you don't execute, if you joined this.
. . Thinking I need your money, I don't need it, okay?
I don't. I don't. We don't do this for.
. . I'm not here for your money.
So, if you came here and didn't execute, I won't renew you. I won't renew. Mentorship expired.
Goodbye. Oh, Oliveira, why would I want someone here who's just playing around, not taking it seriously ? So that's what we do here, man.
I am exactly this guy who's talking to you right now, okay? No excuses. If you are determined to pass, if you are determined to seek your success, if that's really what you want, you will achieve it, okay?
Don't come to me with a sad story, because it's very hard to find someone with a history like mine, right? I was born in a dirt-floor shack in Mato Grosso, delivered by a midwife, okay? And I grew up in the middle of the 14 de Novembro slum.
Don't come with excuses to me saying you have it hard. Man, I became a father at 16 years old, right? So, I already had a family to support at 16.
So, don't come with excuses. You come here and say, " Oh, Oliveira, I only have one hour to study. " Then we'll study for that one hour.
"Oh no, I can't manage. " What do you do between midnight and 6 AM, right ? So, I'm a guy who is.
. . I'm annoying, right, Vand?
I'm annoying. If you're willing to live this, if you're willing , just look inside a police cruiser. That guy over there, he's no different from you, he is exactly like you.
You can do it, oh, but it's impossible. How many hours are you studying per day? How many hours are you, uh, dedicating yourself?
How many hours are you putting in, okay? So that makes all the difference. There's no magic formula, okay?
You need to have a plan, you need to study theory, you need to do practice questions, you need to do reviews, okay? There's no magic formula and you will need to do it. You could have the best prep course in the world, the best mentor in the world, but if you don't execute, it won't happen, it just won't happen, okay?
So it is an investment. The more you invest, and we're not talking about money, the more you invest now, the faster the return comes for you, right? So, man, buckle down, right?
Dedicate yourself. Oh, no, but the weekend, my priority is, uh, to be with my girlfriend, right? You know how it is, man?
Sometimes, before you even pass the exam, she's already dumped you, man. And once you're in the police force, you'll be able to choose the girlfriend you want, man. Because a lot of people will come along wanting to help you, wanting to, uh, contribute to your life.
Sometimes a warrior who is there striving, right, with the same goal as you, right, who is there to build a life with you. So don't get hung up on that. If your girlfriend doesn't want to study with you, man, uh , she doesn't want to be part of the future with you, right?
So don't come up with excuses. Buckle down and study. That's it, everyone.
I think we'll wrap it up here, especially since we still have Thursday and Friday to chat. We'll talk about a lot of cool stuff with the other teachers as well, and I will also talk with the other teachers there about similar subjects so you guys can also hear, right, experiences and opinions from those who are also in the PMSC and have their own experience. That is very important, but I want to thank from the bottom of my heart our colleague, our friend Professor Oliveira, for the experience he brought here.
I always like to, you can look later here on our channel where there is a recorded live stream we already did with Professor Oliveira, watch it, it will be very important for your preparation. And I really like what Professor Oliveira says, that there's no point in coming up with a hard-luck or sad story, because he has a hard-luck and sad story himself, right? He came from a childhood.
He even told us in his other live stream there, in the live stream we did, he said he came from a difficult childhood, he didn't really have one, you know? He started working when he was just a kid, right? Selling popsicles on the street.
Yeah, he had a, he didn't have a childhood, he wasn't really a kid, right? He started working very early, he didn't have a typical adolescence because he became a father very young. So, he had no other option but to take on adult responsibilities, even if prematurely, right, Professor?
And that's what led him to pass a public service exam and get hired so early, because he knows that in life you need to take on responsibilities. Now, we are in the home stretch for the PMSC. While you might be making excuses not to study, making excuses not to scrape together some cash to invest in a course or mentorship, your competitor is often already ahead of you because they have a more mature mindset (I'm not even talking about age) and they are already studying, right?
So, once again, I thank everyone for being here. Tomorrow at 8 PM, we'll be here with Sergeant Souza. I sincerely thank our Professor Roberto once again for being here, and I'll pass the ball to him so we can wrap things up.
>> Wonderful, my brother. I'm the one who should thank you. I am always available to answer any questions, to contribute in any way, right?
And it's exactly what Osano said. Look, don't even start . If you're looking for an excuse, there are plenty to go around.
Now, visualize it, right? Visualize where you want to be, right? Next year, where do you want to be?
Five years from now, ten years from now, twenty years from now, where do you want to be and what do you need to do to get there? The theme of our class today was, don't study without a plan, right? Stop studying without a plan.
So, focus, focus on where you want to be, focus on how you want to be next year, right? Most of my students here get a surprise when they join the mentorship because we have a secret group, and when they see the profile picture of the secret group, they get a big surprise. Why?
Because we are already visualizing his approval and we are prophesying his approval. So, your mind has power and your words have power too, okay? Where do you want to reach, right?
Visualize that and everything will work out, okay ? Success to you all. If you need anything, my profile is Policial Oliveira, very simple to find.
Either on TikTok or Instagram, we are always there with tips, my brother. A hug, okay? Thank you very much for everything, >> everyone at home.
I already left it here at the bottom and during the live, right, I was showing you, here it is again too, look, @policialoliveira. Follow him there on Insta, call him there, whatever you need as well, and follow us because there is a lot of good stuff for you for the PMSC contest , my brother. A big hug.
