What does the process typically entail to heal from demonic oppression or possession? So, we need to find the door. How did how did this happen?
Right? So, and essentially there are four doors or or what I call I you know I use I I use the word door or wound interchangeably, right? Why?
Because the devil lives in wounds. Wounds have four sources. trauma which which is not a a a you know it doesn't directly bring the devil into the individual but it creates the conditions that make it so easy for him to do so.
And then three species of sin personal sin, generational sin or generational curses. So whereby a condition was done a a door was opened in the family by a way by by an individual who committed a sin. that sin was so visceral and sometimes you have no idea that it is you have no idea.
Uh and then uh there's a jurisdiction through the generations that is there and I gave a an an example that was really fascinating in the book. So a woman called me uh years ago and was complaining that there was a spirit of suicide in her family. So her father had taken her life.
Two of her brothers had uh one of her sisters had and a remaining sister was suicidal. Uh two men that married into the family. Uh so two brother-in-laws.
One after marrying into the family had attempted suicide numerous times. Was never suicidal prior. The other one uh had married into the family relatively recently and and had disclosed that he was now suicidal.
had never been before. So, you know, I hear this I I remember being on the road traveling at the time. I said, "Look, I come home in a couple weeks and then I I'll meet with you then.
" And of course, I had been away for many weeks at that point. So, you you come in and there there's a lot of fires to put out as soon as you walk through the door. Like, there's a lot of issues.
And so, in that time that it took, in that delay between me calling her back, which was not a long delay at all, her sister took her life. But here's the kicker. Every suicide and every suicide attempt always happened on a Thursday.
That's not normal. That's not normal. I I want to interject really quick and then I want to hear what happens next.
But God in his providence permitted this. Yep. You know, obviously my the question that bubbles up in my heart and maybe someone listening right now is, okay, well, why did God allow that last girl to die?
They were trying to get help. Sounds like the devil was behind this. Why?
I don't know God's mind. I don't know. So, it grieved me.
Uh, it still does, but I called in the woman and I said to her, "Look, um, so this this started somewhere and it appeared like it began with her dad who took his life. However, they knew nothing about his family beyond him. " Uh so so it may not have be begun with that.
It may have begun further up the line. Regardless, I said just as it comes to you down through the line, anything you pray into your line, you can send up through the line and through all the tentacles. So I just said, "Look, we're we're going to do some renunciation.
So repeat after me. " And so I just gave her the word. In the name of Jesus, I renounce the spirit of suicide.
I I renounce the spirit of self-destruction and whatever whatever the source of this wound was, you know, who whoever the source of the of this wound was, I forgive that individual. I I I surrender that individual to you, Lord. I surrender everyone who has succumbed to this great evil to you, Lord.
I ask you to remove this evil from our family and to give us peace and tranquility. It ended that day. Wow.
So I keep in touch with the victims with who with whom I work and I follow up 3 months later, 6 months later. So the last time I called her, it had been if I recall over 12 years 12 years now since that event at least 12 maybe now 13. No be 14 now.
Uh so so I called her two years ago. How are things going? Perfect.
Everything was fine. Like so that spirit was gone. So that's generational, right?
And so the the the third species of sin is transferred sin, curses, hexes, spells, evil that is willed upon another. Uh and that a that has an absolute effect.
