How To Turn Off Ask Permission To Download App On App Store

let's turn off ask permission to download an app on your app store now if you're trying to download any given app on your app store maybe you have to buy it and it says basically you have to ask the guardian for permission to do that it might look something like this this says ask permission a request to get this app will be sent to a parent or guardian and you can hit this ask or cancel the reason this is showing up is because of family sharing so if you hop out of here and open up

the webpage for support on Apple it says basically approval kids buy with ask to buy which is what this is and it goes through the steps basically this is if you have family sharing turned on and someone else a parent or Guardian is paying for a specific app you need to ask for permission to buy it so it says if you want to turn it off all you have to do is go into settings tap your name tap Family Sharing and then tap on your specific profile and you can see there is a to buy

all you have to do is turn that off so let's do that let's go into settings tap on the name of the very top now we'll tap on Family Sharing Midway down and on here we can just basically choose any of these different accounts let's just choose an account here and you can see purchases the second option let's tap on that I don't have this feature turned on because I don't necessarily have a kid in the household that has an account where I would need to approve any of those purchases but if this was your

account you would see on there a screen that allows you to turn off that ask permission to download any apps and then going forward it will not have to ask you you can just download and install any kind of apps keep in mind another option as well is you could always sign out of your iCloud account and then sign into a new iCloud that is not set up with family sharing you can do that and you'll be able to download and install any apps without having to ask permission hope this helps you have any questions
