hey guys Trevor here and in this video I'm going to show you how to change the language in YouTube comments it's pretty quick and easy so let's Jump Right In now I'm on my iPhone I'm going to open up the YouTube app here you can walk through the same steps on Android or a computer as well so let's just hit the search button at the top right and we will search for say a Spanish soap opera so that I can show you comments in another language let's open this up here and tap comments here all
I have to do is scroll down to find one in another language like Spanish and you can see here it says right under this comment translate to English if I wanted to change that I can tap on it and you can see the English version however if you wanted to translate to a different language you can do these two different steps let's go out of here and tap on your profile at the bottom right and at the top right let's tap on that gear icon now that we're in here you can see under account is
General let's tap on that and you'll see under appearance is app language I can tap on it however on the iPhone it says an additional language has to be added to your iOS settings if you're on Android you might be able to just change it directly in the app itself or if you're on a computer but you might need to just go into the settings from your phone and we'll scroll down and tap General and you can see towards the bottom is language and region let's tap on that at the very top all you have
to do is hit add language and choose a specific language to add to your phone after you've done that you can basically hop into YouTube and change it so that you prefer when you translate a specific comment it will be comment or translated to a different language that you just chose directly in the settings I hope this helps if it did hit the Subscribe button down below it really helps me out and I'll catch you on the next one
