KiaraSims4Mods: Resort Owner (Active) Career

all right so i have been working on my active resort owner career for a few months now and i am going to show it off and and i hope that it works out well so i'm going to start here by showing you how it looks when you try to try to join the career you see here resort owner resort owner you start off as a resort manager making 50 semilines an hour you work monday tuesday thursday friday saturday here's an image description reads resort owners manage all aspects of a resort including lodging food and beverage

management human resource housekeeping and more you would need to be in charge of employees customer service and quality control of the resort so we are going to have my good friend nancy landgrab join this career and when she joins it as you can tell here nancy is now a resort manager at resort plaza or plaza she starts tuesday at 7 a.m so just like with any other active career you're going to work two active work days and you will follow that sim to work so what i'm gonna do is go ahead and speed up the

time so we can get nancy land grab to work so on nancy's first day of work she will see a pop-up here that says resort manager welcome so you want to be a resort owner well get this place looking like a resort and customers will come by for vacationing i see a typo there i will make a note to fix that um i'm gonna hit okay now before we get started here as you can see this is a beautiful resort located in zulani you can pick a resort and place it in any world that you

see fit just remember you have to add a resort and then you have to go into the venue type and change it to resort otherwise your sim will not be able to come to this resort the first task for nancy land grab here is to greet the resort assistant well you must have a front desk in your um lot that is a resort eliza pancakes is actually her resort assistant so we're gonna actually have her greet her and as you can tell she's dressed up in like a business casual your sim depending on what clothes

you have in your world your sim will dress up as they are a business owner she's gonna greet eliza here she has now greeted her as you can tell over her head it says resort manager resort assistant discuss work with co-worker i'm not gonna have them talk all day um but i'm going to show you some things here so you can actually prep the resort in build mode now i downloaded one that looks pretty good here it has a pool i would include a bar some meditation stools an easel beach towels i would include an

area where sims can play chess which is right here you definitely want to have some form of a coffee pot an ice cream station a kitchen which i think the kitchen unfortunately is down here but i'm not going to worry about that now and then you can actually put some bedrooms up there or you can put them on the top floor if you want to you want to have a nice little relaxation area that could include spa equipment because in the next level you'll see that you'll you'll start to see some npc show up and

then i highly recommend adding a gem area i know this place had a gym area i think i missed it me see if i can find that let's see i thought i saw a gym area did i [Music] go up again oh here it is right here it's in the corner i highly recommend having gym equipment because sims will also work out so this is kind of how the first two days will look you'll just set the resort up you will not have customers come by and visit there are some interactions um that will pop

up on the computer but and let me say something real quick this is an office out in the lobby she may not want her office out in the lobby you can build your own office but i'll show you these interactions so if you click any computer and then hit career and then resort management you'll see process resort stay applications and then read resort reviews there is another um interaction here i don't know if it will show up on her it probably will other sims welcome to my resort you can use that on resort guests so

i'm gonna go ahead and kind of boost nancy up to the next level so you can see what happens when you're actually the resort owner all right so the reason that i am releasing this as a test run is because i want to see if customers or guests resort guests are showing up in everyone else's world so when you come in as a resort owner it will say hello resort owner your goal is to keep the resort running welcome guests and make sure everything is running smoothly so she's back at work the resort owner is

there you see there's a task there for her to make coffee let's go have her make some coffee but what i want to show you here are the resort guests um you'll see staff that come in massage chair attendant we see some people in the pool resort guest resort guest resort guest resort guest and you'll see people hanging by the pool some services you may need to actually call in like hire a mixologist let's see he's still swimming over here some of them are going upstairs we'll see what they're doing but throughout the day your

sim will basically finish these tasks there's one that says you know read the resort views you can come over here and click these guests and then so you do have to say friendly introduction or respectful cheerful or hello before you can click click to welcome them to the resort so you do have to have a little bit of a line of communication with them but let's see what they're doing they're going upstairs quite a few of them are let's see what they're gonna do someone's watching tv they're watching tv in their rooms they're gonna have

their bedrooms you don't have to do anything there they'll go to their bedroom some of them will be in the pool some of them will be working out and they'll continue to have resort guests by their name they should stay the entire time that your sim is actively working and if you visit this resort um [Music] outside of work you should still see the resort guest and you should see the resort assistant so that's kind of a backup of how it works here um you can cook food there will be a task about cooking food

you can call them to eat let's say she wanted to you know let me have her do some work so that way you can see some other tasks so let's have her read resort views alright nancy come on and just remember and there our mixologist showed up um you may you can click on this and you can tend the massage chair yourself once you have enough wellness skill as you can see here your two tasks are to max wellness skill max charisma skills so you're going to work two max skills you're on your own let's

see if there's any staff here it looks like he has arrived the says queen over his head that's probably a trait that should be blacklisted but either way normally it would say massage therapist and you can hire one you can hire one sometimes they show up they should show up i put it in the situation tuning for them to show up but throughout the day you'll see sims roam around the resort now when she did read resort views you'll notice here you'll get a notification like more drink stations please uh-oh there's a resort guest he's

right here maybe he has a problem i don't know but you can chat with the resort guests you definitely want to make friendships with some of the resort guests and then it's pretty relatively easy to get green throughout the day she's gonna get it quick i mean as long as she's working let's see what these other sims are doing still see a sim they're playing chess there's still some in the pool just like she might be oh she's not getting in the pool she's the massage share attendant there's a sim in the pool i have

seen some of them relax on their towels another thing i would recommend putting in the resort is a cooler or somewhere where sims can get drinks just download a cooler and maybe place them around the resort for sins they should be able to get drinks anonymously or on their own so that's something you can do but primarily you're just going to run the resort and then see what happens throughout the day the resort owner is there to answer your phones and manage things and then use your sim can have their own office sims may go

to sleep that's something you might see let's see you may see some of them chatting so i mean it's kind of unique so basically i'm going to go ahead and release this for patreons and then before i release it to the public you all will get a chance to test it let me know if you see sims show up in your world let me know if you see sims not showing up because the reason it took me some time to release this is because i was noticing sometimes sims were leaving early and then i was

ending up with no one so and it looks like someone took a drink here so that's pretty cool because there's usually six drinks and now there's one two three four five so that is it with the resort owner like i said two levels and then kind of have some fun with it i mean it's it's very fun i would recommend using it in zulani just because i feel like zalani is like that beautiful resort venue or at least resort world where it looks like you could you know it looks pretty bright and beachy and sunny

and then you're surrounded by water anyway so i mean that's kind of cool anyway i will in this video let me know what you see in your world thank you for listening
