[Music] hi so in today's video we're going to talk about one of my all-time favorite video game genres and i've been loving it for years if i explain it to someone they don't get a clear picture of what it is and they don't understand why i'm obsessed about it if i tell them the actual word of what it is an anime dating simulator i always get reaction like oh my god an anime dating scenario what is that and they start laughing but there's actually more to it and we're gonna talk about it today we're to
talk about atomic so what exactly are atomic games autonomous games comes from the japanese translation and it means maiden game or otoge they are story based games in form of a vision novel and you play as a female lead with a choice of different types of love interests where you can form a romantic relationship by actually dating them or communicating with them based on the choices that you make you can have different types of endings such as a good ending a bad ending a tragic ending or a sad ending or a super happy ending not
all of these atomic games will be individual novels where you make choices there's also toma games where you play mini games in order to increase the relationship with that character there's different types of atom games there's also bl autumn games also known as voice love atomic games and right now they don't have any english translation of it they only have them in japanese but i hope one day they're gonna have them here too so i always get the question of why are atomi game so special the special thing about atomic games is that basically you
create a special bond with a character of your choice based on the personality you have different types of love interests such as the sweetheart the tsundere the shy one or the goofball and you get adventurous and diverse storylines of each individual that you're romancing another beautiful thing that i like is that you get amazing cgs based on the moments that you're living with that character and that you get amazing voice acting maybe of one of your favorite anime voice actors if you want to be in a glass piece of emotion automa games will definitely not
disappoint you i've been there i cried a lot i laughed a lot i felt betrayed by the character i never thought in my life that an anime character could actually affect me that much because i always thought it's like okay it's only the main character first that is being affected because you're playing as the main character since you're creating a special bond with a character and you're getting to know the character you kind of feel affected by their behavior too and you feel a lot of different emotions while playing so to start with atomic games
i always recommend you to start with a short series that is already there don't get a mobile app because it's going to be really expensive at one point since you have to pay for some story lines and for some games you can buy atomic games with completed walkthrough where you don't have to pay on different types of systems such as on the pc steam on the ps vita or on the switch also on the playstation if you don't want to spend money on atoma apps i mainly choose the titles based on the artwork that is
there on the voice acting and also on the character looks and description because if the character doesn't appeal to me i really don't want to play it i don't feel like i'm interested in it even if the story is good it kind of has to be connected to what i like in an anime character i know it's superficial but i think this is kind of like the purpose of having various characters to romance in this game so what i recommend you to start with first which is like kind of like an introduction into atomic games
and the game is called nightshade and then there's hakuwaki go realest color malice and cafe enchante if you want to try a mobile app atomic game i would recommend you to play either mystic messenger or the 365 love application by voltage but keep in mind that you need to be financially stable in order to get these titles because if you want to progress in the story you have to pay for it talking about the voltage app i tried voltage the first time in 2013 when a friend of mine recommended it to me it was my
sweet bodyguard green and i kind of got bored at one point of the gameplay because it was so new for me so i tried a new one which was seduced in the sleepless city party at one point i noticed that party games died down voltage stopped updating the game that i was playing cities didn't sleep the city but they were still releasing a lot of titles on single applications before they introduced in 2017 they love 365 application where some of the old tiles that i used to play are back in there if you're curious you
can try and download the application to get an insight of the available tiles that are there some of them might be free some of them you might pay so make sure that you're in a financial stable situation because a lot of these stories are amazing and i recommend you to play games such as irresistible mistakes masquerade case and kiss by the baddest bitter they are so so good you should definitely try them out if you want to try the voltage app i hope you enjoyed the video and my explanation on atomic games let me know
