testimonies. There are certain scriptures that you have to build a bridge of contemporization from the original audience to now. Then there are certain scriptures if you got a little Jesus, you get excited when you hear it. >> I'mma see if you got a little Jesus. Verse 17, reading from the message version. I didn't die. >> I'mma read it again. And seven people who brought your praise going to catch it. I didn't die. I lived. You ready for this? And now I'm telling the world >> what God did. I'm going to read it one more time
like it's resurrection Sunday. I didn't die. >> I lived. >> And now I'm telling the world what God did. If you're not too mean, look at your neighbor and say, "Neighbor, >> neighbor, >> I know you've been through some stuff. >> I know. >> I know it hurt. >> I know. >> People betrayed you. bills, >> drama, >> drama, >> but guess what? >> But guess what? >> You'll live. >> You'll live. >> I want you to sit down and touch three people and tell them, "You'll live. >> You will live. >> You will live."
And every survivor said, >> you would allow me about 20 minutes today. I just want to preach from the topic, you will live. There's a poem by Paul Lawrence Dumbar entitled Wear the Mask. In this poem, he says, "We wear the mask that grins and lies. It hides our cheeks and shades our eyes. This debt we pay to human gal with torn and bleeding hearts we smile and mouth with merit subtleties and counting all of our tears and sigh. Nay, let them only see us while we wear the mask. This poem is powerful, Rock City,
because this poem is about hidden pain behind public presentation. Please put that in your notes. This poem is about hidden pain behind public presentation. Dumbar is exposing attention. Here it is. What people see versus what people carry. In this particular palm, he is exposing a tension between what people see versus what they carry. It is survival language. It is not deception for manipulation, but perfection in a broken world. In other words, he's saying what you see is one thing BECAUSE I'M NOT SURE THAT YOU CAN HANDLE what I carry. And as I look over this
crowded arena right now, I can see in this place that people really got your life twisted because they think you have it all together. THEY THINK YOU HAVEN'T BEEN through nothing. THEY THINK YOU AIN'T HAD NO TRIALS. BUT THEY DON'T UNDERSTAND WHAT YOU SEE IS NOT WHAT I CARRY. WHICH IS WHY WHEN PEOPLE ASK ME IF I'M COOL, ALL I CAN SAY BACK IS I'M FINE. BECAUSE WHY WOULD I EXPOSE TO YOU WHEN YOU CAN'T HANDLE ALL THAT GOD HAS PUT in my life? And I don't know who I'm preaching to early in this little
message of mine, but I came to preach to three people who HAVE BEEN HEAVY. NOT BECAUSE YOU GOT PROBLEMS, BUT YOU MATURED TO A PLACE IN YOUR LIFE WHERE YOU ARE STARTING to realize the weight of what you carry. And the reason people want to be you is because YOU MADE THE MISTAKE OF MAKING WHAT YOU CARRY look so easy when IF THEY HAD TO WALK A MILE IN YOUR SHOES, THEY WOULD UNDERSTAND YOU DON'T EVEN KNOW HOW YOU GOT OUT THE BED THIS MORNING. BUT YOU OUGHT TO JUST LEAN ON SOMEBODY AND TELL THEM
I'M A SURVIVOR. He says we wear the mask. And if you're honest WITH ME THIS MORNING, YOU didn't just come to Resurrection Sunday. Some of us escaped to Resurrection Sunday. For some of us, it feels like life ain't playing fair. HAVE YOU EVER HAD A MOMENT IN your life where life didn't JUST CHALLENGE YOU, IT TRIED TO finish you? Have you ever had a season of your life that wasn't just inconvenient, but it felt like it was coming TO AN END? HAVE YOU EVER BEEN IN A SEASON OF YOUR LIFE WHERE IT TOOK EVERYTHING YOU
HAD TO KEEP YOUR SANITY? WELL, IF IT WASN'T ONE THING, >> can I preach to three people in the back and three people in the chat WHO CAN SAY, "PASTOR MIKE, I'VE BEEN WAITING TO GET TO CHURCH ALL WEEK CUZ I GOT TO SMILE WHEN I GO TO A JOB. I GOT TO SMILE WHEN I'M AT HOME. I GOT TO BE THE ROCK FOR EVERYBODY ELSE." BUT WHAT DO YOU DO WHEN THE STRONG ONE AIN'T GOT NO STRENGTH LEFT? THAT'S WHY IF YOU SEE ME SHOUT, I MAY NOT BE SHOUTING CUZ I GOT IT ALL
TOGETHER. I MAY BE SHOUTING BECAUSE I'M TRYING TO KEEP IT TOGETHER. It says, "HAVE YOU EVER BEEN IN A SEASON where it took everything you had to keep it together?" >> Have you ever had to say, "I'm cool." when you felt like things were falling apart. And that's why this particular text we're in today is dangerous because as we tiptoe into the corridors of Psalms chapter 118, we see SOMETHING THAT IS DIFFERENT. BECAUSE PSALMS 118, please put this in your notes, is not written from a quiet place. Preach, Mike. Psalms 118 is NOT WRITTEN FROM
A QUIET PLACE. HERE it is. It is written from the other side. >> I thought you was going to shout on that part. That's the part that blessed me. PSALMS IS NOT WRITTEN FROM THE PALACE. IT IS WRITTEN FROM THE OTHER SIDE OF TROUBLE. THIS IS, please put this in your notes, a survival psalm. >> This is I'm trying to keep my composure, but I might just have church by myself today. A survival psalm. I normally give you a thousand notes, but some in my spirit this morning said, "Just preach it like you feel it
and have church one Sunday out the other." This is a survival psalms. What are you TALKING ABOUT? PSALMS 118 from my notetaker is a hal song. Yeah, it's on the screen. A hell song. It is sung during major Jewish festivals like Passover. I'm I'mma preach to this side. They still sleep. It is sung during major festivals LIKE PASSOVER. SEE, I THOUGHT three of y'all would have shouted cuz if you know a little bit of Bible, there are certain words you can't say and not feel something. One of those words, here it is, is Passover. >>
Okay, you done shout. Let me explain it to my young people. Passover in the Bible, death was in the city. AND THE LORD TOLD THE PEOPLE OF GOD, "GO FIND THE LAMB. >> Kill the lamb. >> Take the blood of the lamb. AND PUT IT OVER YOUR DOPE POST. SO EVERYBODY WHO HAD BLOOD ON THEIR HOUSE, death passed over. AND I'M TRYING TO BE DIGNIFIED, BUT IF I WAS AT AN OLD SCHOOL BAPTIST CHURCH, ALL I WOULD HAVE HAD TO SAY WAS THE ONLY REASON I'M STILL HERE IS BECAUSE IT WAS NOTHING. I need you
TO DO ME A FAVOR. LOOK AT YOUR NEIGHBOR, take your right hand, and just WAVE IT OVER THEIR head and say, "Woosh, that's the wrong neighbor. Find another neighbor. WAVE YOUR HAND OVER THEIR HEAD AND say whoosh. TELL THEM THAT'S THE SOUND OF pain missing you. Whoosh. That's the sound of death missing you. Whoosh. That's the SOUND OF LAYOFFS MISSING YOU. WHOOSH. I WISH I HAD A HUNDRED PEOPLE WHO CAN PRAISE GOD FOR THE STUFF THAT GOD LET PASS. Look down your row and tell them, "PLEASE EXCUSE ME." BUT NOW THAT I'M 40, I UNDERSTAND
WHAT GRANDMAMA MEANT WHEN SHE SAID, "THANK YOU FOR KEEPING ME FROM DANGER SEEN." Are y'all going to help me PREACH TODAY? SEEN AND UNSEEN. WHAT DOES THAT MEAN, PMJ? ANYBODY CAN PRAISE GOD FOR WHAT YOU KNOW. >> BUT WHEN IS THE LAST TIME YOU PRAISE GOD FOR THE STUFF YOU DIDN'T EVEN KNOW ABOUT? YOU HAD NO IDEA THAT WHILE YOU WAS DRIVING DOWN THE STREET, IT WAS A DRUNK DRIVER NEXT TO YOU. I'MMA SEE IF A THOUSAND OF Y'ALL WILL JUMP UP, BUT GOD BLOCK. I JUST NEED YOU TO TOUCH FOUR PEOPLE IN YOUR SECTION
AND TELL THEM, "I'MMA PRAISE GOD FOR EACH AND EVERY ONE OF Y'ALL. CUZ IF IT HAD NOT BEEN FOR GOD, I SHOULD BE DEAD BY NOW, CRAZY BY NOW, LOCKED UP BY NOW, YOU OUGHT TO JUMP UP AND SHOUT, HE BLOCKED IT. He says this is a this is a survival psalm. They said we didn't sing Psalms 113 to 118 until we made it out. >> Preach Mike. And here's what my problem is with the church is because this psalm, put this in your notes, is a corporate song. >> It is little monitor a corporate
song. Mike, it is a corporate song. It is I'd be tickling myself. A CORPORATE SONG. WHAT DO YOU MEAN, PMJ? THERE ARE CERTAIN PSALMS that are psalms of lament. >> Those were the PSALMS THAT WHEN I GOT BY MYSELF, >> I WOULD CALL ON GOD. >> BUT PSALMS 118 AIN'T A PSALM YOU DO BY YOURSELF. >> PSALMS 118 IS THE PSALM. YOU DIDN'T BREAK THIS OUT >> TILL YOU GOT AROUND >> OF the survivors. >> Which is WHY EVERY NOW AND AGAIN, I DON'T CARE WHAT THE USHER SAY, YOU NEED TO SEE WHO YOU SITTING
NEXT TO >> CUZ I'M TRYING TO BE IN ORDER, BUT I GOT TO MAKE SURE I'M SITTING NEXT TO A SURVIVOR. MATTER OF FACT, DO A ROAD CHECK AND JUST CHECK BOTH OF THEM AND SAY, "ARE YOU A SURVIVOR?" TELL THEM CUZ I CAN'T LOOK AT YOUR PRAISE AND TELL IF YOU SURVIVED NOTHING OR NOT. TELL THEM, "BUT THE NEXT PRAISE I GIVE GOD, I AM NOT GIVING GOD BY MYSELF." I NEED YOU TO GRAB BOTH YOUR NEIGHBORS ON THE LEFT AND THE RIGHT AND TELL THEM, "I'M GETTING READY TO PRAISE GOD IN SUCH A
WAY THAT YOU AIN'T GOT NO CHOICE BUT TO PRAISE GOD WITH ME. I'M GIVING YOU 30 SECONDS. ONE OF Y'ALL OUGHT TO SHOUT, "GOD, YOU CAN'T BE IN THE MIDST of Lean over and tell your neighbor, I'm a survivor." That's the wrong somebody. Reach over that hater and high five another neighbor and tell them, "I'm a survivor." And see, this is how you know you SITTING NEXT TO A NOSY saint instead of a praising saint. CUZ A NOSY SAINT WANT TO KNOW WHAT YOU SURVIVED. BUT A REAL PRAISER WOULD SAY, "I AIN'T CARE WHAT IT
IS. I JUST KNOW IF GOD BROUGHT YOU OUT, HE CAN BRING ME OUT, TOO. I WISH I HAD SOMEBODY IN THIS ARENA WHO CAN SHOUT, "GOD BROUGHT ME OUT OF STUFF." I didn't even understand it. It is a hallelu. And Psalms 118 is what it sounds like when pressure didn't break you. Psalms 118 is what it sounds like when pressure didn't break you. But you cannot shout about Psalms 118 verse1 17 until you tiptoe back into 118 verse 5. OH MY GOD. VERSE 5 SAYS, "In my distress, >> I know I got a church full
of notetakers." You ain't going to have a LOT OF NOTES TODAY. I CAME TO HAVE CHURCH. IN MY DISTRESS, I pray to the Lord. Now I'm going TO RUN. IN MY DISTRESS. I prayed to the Lord. I'M IN MY DISTRESS, PASTOR MIKE. HE SAID, "I'M GOING THROUGH." AND WHILE I'M GOING THROUGH, INSTEAD OF TALKING TO THEM, >> I DECIDED to talk to him. PLEASE PUT THIS IN YOUR NOTES BECAUSE PRAISE SHOULD BE YOUR NATURAL RESPONSE TO YOUR PROBLEMS. Put that in your notes. PRAISE SHOULD BE YOUR NATURAL RESPONSE TO YOUR PROBLEMS. CAN I FREE YOU?
CAN YOU PUT THAT SCRIPTURE BACK ON THE SCREEN? CUZ NOW THAT I'M 40, I DON'T SHOUT ABOUT THE SAME STUFF I USED TO SHOUT ABOUT IN MY 30S. >> IN MY 30S, I WOULD HAVE PREACHED IN MY DISTRESS. I PRAY TO THE LORD. BUT NOW THAT I'M 40 AND I GOT KIDS WHO ACT LIKE THEY DEAF, can I get seven parents who be calling your child name and IT'S LIKE THEY EARS DON'T EVEN WORK. NOW PUT MY SCRIPTURE UP THERE. I SEE SOMETHING IN THE TEXT. THAT IS ENOUGH TO MAKE ME SHOUT. IT SAYS, "IN
MY DISTRESS, >> I PRAYED TO THE LORD. >> Here go the part that told me up and he answered me. I MUST PROPHESY THIS OVER 10 OF Y'ALL AND YOU'RE GOING TO JUMP UP AND RECEIVE IT IN THE NEXT 60 DAYS. GET READY FOR ANSWERED PRAYERS. GOD SAID, "I'M NOT JUST ANSWERING THE PRAYERS THAT YOU PRAYED THIS YEAR, BUT I'M GETTING READY TO GIVE YOU ANSWERS FOR THE STUFF YOU'VE BEEN WAITING ON FOR THE LIFE. YOU OUGHT TO HOLLER LIKE PRAYERS ARE GETTING ANSWERED." SAY, "In my distress, I pray to the Lord. Preach, Mike. >>
And the Lord answered me. >> Michael, that ain't the only thing he did. It's on the screen. >> He answered me. That ain't the only thing he did. Not only did he answer me, he set me free. I don't know who I'm preaching to, but six of y'all going to catch this. I SPEAK A SEASON OF freedom over your life. Pastor Mike, I want to shout, but I don't know what I'M FREE FROM. WHEN I GET TO YOU, JUST HOLLER. I'M FREE FROM OTHER people's opinion. I'M FREE FROM THE STRESS OF MY PAST. I'M FREE
FROM EVERY LIE THAT WAS TOLD ABOUT ME. I'M FREE FROM MY ENEMIES AND ALL my hear me. He says he says praise should be your natural response to problems. Why, Mike? Because praise isn't just something you give God after it's over. is how you walk through it while it's happening. >> Meaning, praise ain't just what you do at the end of it. >> PRAISE IS WHAT YOU SHOULD BE DOING in the middle of it. And there are three types of people sitting on your road today. Some of y'all will shout before you get in it.
Some of y'all have mastered shouting once you get out of it. But it takes another level of faith to praise God in the middle of it. Am I preaching to anybody at Rock City this morning who's had to wake up and grow UP THIS YEAR AND SAY, "I CANNOT WAIT TILL THE BATTLE IS OVER. I HAD TO GET TO A PLACE WHERE I LEARNED HOW TO PRAISE GOD IN the middle." And this is why I like Shadrach, Mach, and Abedneo. This is why I like Daniel >> in the lion's den >> because they didn't have
to wait till he did it. >> Michael, they didn't have to wait till it WAS OVER >> TO THANK GOD. >> WHO WAITING ON GOD TO DO something in your life? >> WHO BEEN PRAYING LATELY SAYING, "GOD, WHEN YOU DO THIS, it's going to change everything." Can I ASK YOU A QUESTION? HOW WHAT WOULD YOUR PRAISE LOOK like if he did it? HAVE YOU EVER STOPPED TO THINK THAT IF I PRAISE GOD LIKE IT'S DONE, HE MIGHT JUST GO AHEAD. Y'all got to pray for me. Y'all got to pray for me. The these new school
kids, these pandemic babies, I call them, they slick. They way smarter than my old kids. Old kids, good kids. MY NEW BABIES, OH, THEY SLICK. MILES IS so slick. Miles has a strategy that I know is his strategy. I know he running game, BUT IT STILL WORK. I know he running game. He know I know he RUNNING GAME. I TELL HIM, "YOU RUNNING GAME, BUT IT STILL WORK." MY STRATEGY IS HE ASKS ME FOR SOMETHING. >> Then he COMES BACK AND THANKS ME FOR IT. DAD, DAD, can I can I GO TO THE BOUNCE PLACE
TODAY? Thank you, Dad. You're so good, daddy. And I'll BE LOOKING, DAD. DAD, CAN I GET SOME V-BUCKS FOR MY GAME TODAY? DAD, CAN I get some bucks, some Robux, please? Thank you, DAD. DAD, YOU'RE THE BEST DAD IN THE WORLD. IN MY HEAD, I'll be like, I AIN'T DID IT YET. But the fact THAT HE WAS CRAZY enough to thank me in advance made me GO TO MY CASH APP. AND I DON'T KNOW WHAT YOU WAITING ON, GOD. I WISH I HAD SEVEN PEOPLE WHO WOULD JUST START THANKING GOD. CAN WE HAVE A THANK
YOU PARTY AT EASTER THIS WEEK? I THANK YOU FOR LIFE. I THANK YOU FOR A GOOD DOCTOR'S REPORT. I THANK YOU FOR A SCHOLARSHIP. I THANK YOU FOR THE NEW JOB. I THANK YOU FOR THE PROMOTION. TOUCH SEVEN PEOPLE AND SHOUT thank them. Thank them. Thank KJ. Hear me when I say this. He says, he says, "Praise isn't just something I give God at the end. Praise is something I have to learn to cultivate in the middle." But I like Psalms 118. Why? Because in Psalms chapter 118:13, HE DOES NOT SUGARCOAT NOTHING. SEE, I it
it is not sanitized. It is not pristine. It is in Psalms chapter 118:13. Look at what it says. You pushed me >> violently. >> I I like that. This ain't cute. In other words, he's saying, please put this in your notes. It wasn't accidental pressure. >> In other words, he's saying this is, please put this in your notes, intentional opposition. >> The writer says in this PARTICULAR TEXT, YOU PUSHED me violently. THIS IS NOT ACCIDENTAL. IT IS INTENTIONAL. THIS WAS THE KIND OF push designed to take me out. Now, what is intentional opposition? Here it
is. Intentional opposition IS RESISTANCE THAT IS NOT random but purposeful. >> It is strategically permitted or deployed to reveal, >> refine, and redirect a person to divine assignment. Do I need to read that again? AN INTENTIONAL PUSH is resistance that IS NOT RANDOM BUT PURPOSEFUL. It is strategically permitted to reveal, refine, and redirect. Scripture consistently shows that opposition is assigned, not accidental. Michael, THE SCRIPTURE SHOWS ME THAT OPPOSITION IS A SIGN, NOT ACCIDENTAL. I was shrimping. What you going to preach this year, Pastor Mike? You got people who come to church, you may not see
some for a while that's cool in the game. I'm not judging YOU, BUT I SAID TO MYSELF, I want to give them more than just He got up. I want to give them more than just the Easter speech. I WANT THEM TO WALK AWAY. AND IF THEY NEVER HEAR ME AGAIN, never see me AGAIN IN OCTOBER IF SOMETHING JUMP OFF IN THEIR LIFE, I WANT THEM TO REMEMBER THAT OPPOSITION IS NOT ACCIDENTAL. >> IT IS A SIGN. >> IT IS NOT ACCIDENTAL, MICHAEL. IT IS A SIGN. MEANING, IF YOU GOING THROUGH, >> YOU AIN'T GOING
THROUGH ON ACCIDENT. >> WHAT YOU ARE GOING THROUGH, MICHAEL, WAS ASSIGNED TO YOU. WHICH IS WHY YOU NEED TO STOP COVETING WHAT OTHER PEOPLE GOT. STOP WANTING MY BLESSINGS WHEN YOU COULDN'T HANDLE MY ATTACK. >> Am I preaching to anybody in here? The scripture shows me that opposition is a sign, not accidental. You know Job, Job, Satan, God. Job. Job. Job. Job is going through an amalgam of emotions that are indicative of the human experience. Satan could not touch Job. Put this in your nose. Without permission. >> Come on. Come on. Come on. >> Satan
asked to sift you like wheat. >> He had to ask. Genesis 15 and 20. WHAT THE DEVIL MEANT FOR EVIL. >> God meant FOR GOOD. PASTOR MIKE, WHY ARE YOU GIVING ME THIS? BECAUSE THIS ESTABLISHES a theological truth. What's the truth, PMJ? PUT THIS IN YOUR NOTES. Opposition may be initiated by the enemy, but it IS ALWAYS REGULATED BY GOD. >> MICHAEL, OH, OPPOSITION MAY be initiated BY THE ENEMY, BUT IT IS ALWAYS REGULATED BY GOD. PASTOR MIKE, WHAT ARE YOU trying to get ME TO REALIZE? THE DEVIL MAY START IT, >> BUT GOD FINISH
IT. SO, SO, so look at this. So, let's talk about this now. WHAT ARE THE THREE DIMENSIONS of intentional opposition? Three dimensions. Please put this in your phone. Of intentional opposition. Here it is. Revealing, refining, redirecting. IF YOU GO THROUGH IN LIFE, YOU ARE GOING THROUGH for three things. It's revealing something, refining something, redirecting something. Let's talk about revealing opposition. Somebody say revealing. >> Revealing. >> Revealing opposition exposes what's in you. >> In other words, seven of y'all going to catch this. Pressure is a revealer. >> That there's something in you that God wants to
get out of you >> that you won't willingly get OUT OF YOU. SO GOD SAYS, "I'MMA PUT YOU THROUGH SOME PRESSURE." >> NOT CUZ I'M TRYING TO BREAK YOU. I'M TRYING TO REVEAL IT. >> I'mma say this to >> I'mma say this to y'all and y'all going TO CATCH IT. HALF OF THE HELL YOU WENT THROUGH SHOWED YOU MORE THAN YOU EVER THOUGHT YOU HAD. >> All right, I'm Don't leave me hanging. CAN I PREACH THE THREE OF Y'ALL WHO'S EVER BEEN THROUGH SOME STUFF AND YOU WAS GOING THROUGH AND YOU PICKED UP YOUR PHONE
AND CALLED PEOPLE TO PRAY WITH YOU AND THEN NOBODY ANSWER THE PHONE AND AND ALL OF A SUDDEN, YOU STARTED PRAYING FOR YOURSELF AND YOU SCARED YOURSELF. >> FATHER, right now in the name of Jesus, I declare no weapon formed against me shall prosper. God, YOU DID NOT BRING ME THIS FAR JUST TO LEAVE ME RIGHT HERE. AND THE DEVIL IS LIKE, "NO, NO, NO, NO, NO, NO, NO, NO, NO, NO, NO, NO." BUT GOD IS LIKE, "YOU THINK I'MMA LET YOU BREAK THEM? THERE IS SO MUCH OIL IN THEM, BUT I CAN'T GET IT
OUT OF THEM TILL I PUT THEM IN SOMETHING THAT IS GOING TO REVEAL IT. I'MMA SAY THIS AND THREE OF Y'ALL GOING TO HAVE CHURCH WITH ME. IF THE DEVIL CAN'T STAND me now, WHAT HE GOING TO DO WHEN THIS NEXT LEVEL OF ANOINTING AND FAVOR COME OUT OF ME? >> CAN YOU JUST SQUEEZE YOUR NEIGHBOR'S HAND A LITTLE BIT AND SAY, "I NEED TO SEE IT. I need to see it." cuz God's getting ready to reveal. >> We we we go we go on spring break. We go on spring break, right? We go on
spring break and and and we go to the store and Miles All my story is going to be about Miles now, right? He growing up. The season of May story is over. It's Miles time. Okay. Ma Mile Miles goes to the store. He comes back in the house with with a gift card for PlayStation. Okay. He said, "Dad, look what I got. A GIFT CARD FOR PLAYSTATION." I said, "Cool." He says only one problem. I have to scratch this thing off. Okay. He ain't never did a scratch off. OKAY. WHO NEVER DID a scratch off
before? So you be gambling. Who else be gambling? Let me see. Tell them yourself. Yeah. Yeah. All right. You You had You drove to the county line. Which one of y'all drove to Georgia? Raise your hand right there. Drove to Georgia. OKAY. SO MILES COMES TO ME AND SAYS, "DAD, DO YOU GOT SOMETHING I CAN SCRATCH IT OFF WITH?" This crazy. I said, "Here you go." I GIVE HIM A PENNY, GIVE HIM MY KEYS. HE GET THE SCRATCHING ON IT. Then he says, "It don't work. He gives it to me. I start SCRATCHING IT OFF.
WHAT MILES DIDN'T REALIZE IS THAT what he wanted >> HAD BEEN THERE THE WHOLE TIME. >> HE JUST DIDN'T have enough patience >> to endure THE SEASON OF HIS LIFE WHERE GOD ALLOWED THE devil >> to irritate you. And some of YOU KEEP SAYING, "GOD, GET ME OUT OF THIS." AND GOD SENT YOU HERE TODAY FOR ME TO TELL YOU IF GOD TOOK YOU OUT OF IT, >> YOU WOULD BE UNDERDEVELOPED. >> Who in HERE CAN COOK? THROW YOUR HAND UP. NO. NO. NO. I SAID COOK. NOT IF DON'T NOBODY ASK FOR YOUR COOKING. YOU
CAN'T COOK. COOK. Who can cook? COOK. ALL RIGHT. WHO DON'T KNOW HOW TO COOK BUT YOU'RE TRYING TO LEARN? YOU WANT TO KNOW THE THE DIFFERENCE? MICHAEL, DO YOU WANT TO KNOW THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN SOMEBODY WHO LEARNING to cook AND SOMEBODY WHO KNOW HOW TO COOK? >> THE DIFFERENCE AIN'T JUST SEASONING. THE DIFFERENCE IS HOW MANY TIMES THEY OPEN THE OVEN. >> YOUR FOOD CAN'T EVEN COOK CUZ YOU'RE TOO BUSY thinking that you can look at it and tell. YOU CAN'T TELL IF YOUR M FOOD IS DONE BY LOOKING AT IT. Here it is. You
got to cut >> into it >> to see if the pressure on the outside >> has FIXED WHAT'S ON THE INSIDE. You going to sit in here like I ain't preaching you today. Can I preach TO THREE OF Y'ALL AND SAY, "PASTOR MIKE, IT MAKES SENSE." NOW, IF YOU GOT ME IN STUFF CUZ GOD is trying to reveal number two, REFINING OPPOSITION. >> Put that in your notes. Am I doing okay? Refining opposition. What's the first one? Revealing. >> Second one. Refining. But this so you know, refining opposition develops what's missing. Michael, it develops what's
missing. Preach Mike. It develops what's missing. Number three, redirecting opposition. REDIRECTING OPPOSITION. THIS IS GOOD. IT POSITIONS YOU WHERE YOU'RE SUPPOSED to be, Michael. IT POSITIONS YOU WHERE YOU SUPPOSED TO BE, >> MICHAEL. It positions YOU WHERE YOU'RE SUPPOSED TO BE, MICHAEL. IT REPOSITIONS YOU WHERE YOU'RE SUPPOSED TO BE. YOU DON'T PUT nothing in your nose. Put this in your notes. Sometimes opposition isn't blocking you. It's steering you, >> Michael. Sometimes opposition ain't blocking you. It's steering you. God says for many of you, you are going through not because there's something wrong with you, but
it's my way of redirecting you. >> In other words, it is divine rerouting. He says, "I got to let them hurt you now, cuz if they DON'T HURT YOU NOW, YOU GOING TO TELL them I do." >> GOD IS LIKE, "I SEE YOU LOVE HARD. >> SO GOD IS LIKE, I'MMA LET YOU FIND OUT THEY LYING EARLY CUZ I CAN'T LET YOU WASTE ANOTHER SIX MONTHS OF YOUR LIFE." >> GOD SAID, "I'MMA LET THEM FIRE YOU THIS MONTH CUZ THERE'S AN ENTREPRENEUR IN YOU. BUT AS LONG AS YOU COMFORTABLE, YOU AIN'T GOING TO. >> Am
I preaching to anybody IN HERE TODAY? GOD SAYS, "I AM real wanting you." You'd >> be surprised how many people end up on dead ends because they don't realize God closed certain streets on purpose. Why PMJ? Cuz not everything God sends is comfortable, >> but everything he allows is purposeful. >> Preach Mike. Not everything that God sends is comfortable, but everything he allows is purposeful. This is why I love this particular text because look at verse 13. It says, "You pushed me. I'm fa by myself today. You pushed me. I'm from Ensley. There's certain things
you can't do to me. YOU PUSH ME. NOW, I don't know about you. You can talk all you want to. Just don't put your hands on me. >> You push me. SEE, THE QUESTION, THE PROBLEM I GOT IN THIS PARTICULAR TEXT IS THIS. WHO DID THE PUSHING? >> Was it God? >> WAS IT THE DEVIL? IN THE CONTEXT OF PSALMS 118, the writer is reflecting on being surrounded and attacked and overwhelmed. He says in the earlier verses, "All nations surrounded me." That tells US THAT THE PUSH REPRESENTS ENEMIES, PRESSURE, and adversity. >> But the text
never glorifies who pushed. >> It just highlights WHO HELPS. >> CUZ WHEN YOU LOOK AT PSALMS 118:13, IT SAYS, "YOU PUSHED ME VIOLENTLY SO THAT I WAS FALLEN." I'M GOING TO HAVE CHURCH. But the Lord help me. And I don't need a name of what pushed me because truth of the matter is everybody IN HERE BEEN PUSHED BY SOMETHING. WE MIGHT NOT HAVE THE SAME PROBLEM, BUT EVERYBODY IN HERE GOT A PROBLEM THAT'S DRIVING THEM UP THE WALL. But the text says, I DON'T CARE WHAT PUSHED YOU. THE Lord preach Mike. He helped me. And
I I DON'T KNOW IF I'M PREACHING TO THE RIGHT CHURCH TODAY, BUT I WONDER IF I got ANYBODY IN HERE WHO CAN SAY THE ONLY REASON I'M STILL HERE. It's because the Lord kept me. THE ONLY REASON I GOT HALF A RIGHT MIND LEFT is because he kept me. >> Now, do me a favor. Notice the order of the scripture. Put it on the screen. It says, "You pushed me so violently, but the Lord helped me." What if I told you that many of us don't THINK GOD GOT US BECAUSE WE LIVE OUR LIFE WITH
this scripture in reverse? >> Y'all hear me? >> YOU THINK YOUR LIFE IS SUPPOSED TO BE, "THE LORD HELPED ME." AND BECAUSE THE LORD HELPED ME, I WAS NEVER PUSHED. GOD NEVER SAID YOU WOULDN'T GET TOUCHED. >> REACH, MIKE. I'm preaching to three of y'all already who've BEEN FRUSTRATED LATELY CUZ YOU'VE BEEN SAYING, "IF I GOT FAVOR, WHY I'M BROKE? >> IF YOU LOVE ME, WHY THEY LEAVE ME? >> If I'm REALLY ANOINTED, WHY LIFE TRYING TO BREAK ME?" >> AND GOD IS SAYING, "Just because it HIT YOU DON'T MEAN IT'S GOING TO TAKE YOU
OUT." HE SAID, "NO weapon >> formed against you >> SHALL PROSPER." MEANING, I'MMA LET IT HURT YOU LONG ENOUGH TO GET DONE WHAT I NEED DONE. >> MICHAEL, hear me when I say this. That word help implies, put this in your notes, intervention at the point of collapse. God does not always stop the push, but he always steps in before the push becomes faithful. >> Come on, Lord. >> And can I minister to seven people in here who've been pushed? >> Five people who when you look back over your life, you can say, "Pastor Mike,
I try to keep it together. Try not to bother nobody, but anxiety pushing, >> hurt pushing I know I'm gifted. I know I'm anointed. I I know I got ideas that would change the world. But for some reason, I don't get the opportunities that other people get and they even living right. God, it's pushing me. >> And that's why church is losing its power because all we teach people is how to praise. We don't teach people what to do after they've been pushed. >> This is what scholars argue and call divine providence. Providence means God
doesn't always prevent pressure, but he governs outcomes. >> God does not always prevent pressure, but he governs outcomes. He allows the push. Put this in your notes. But manages the fall. >> Jesus. See, he he he allows the push. This is good. But he manages the thought. Come come here T. Come here. Come run. Run. He He allows the push. But he manages the fall. HE ALLOWS THE PUSH. GOD SAYS GOD SAYS, "I'M NOT GOING TO LET THE devil push you when there's no management." Quran. HE SAID, "BUT WHAT I do is is I'll allow
the push, but I manage TO FALL." CUZ THERE WILL BE CERTAIN seasons where you strong enough to ENDURE WHEN YOU BEING HIT. THEN THERE ARE CERTAIN SEASONS WHERE YOU AIN'T GOT NO STRENGTH LEFT >> AND THE PUSH MAKES YOU FALL. >> BUT GOD SAYS, "I WON'T LET THE FALL BE FATAL. THIS IS HOW YOU CAN BE BROKE BUT STILL GOT DINNER." >> This is how you can BE ON THE VERGE OF DEPRESSION BUT STILL ENCOURAGING OTHER PEOPLE. I'M NOT PREACHING TO EVERYBODY AND SOME OF Y'ALL WANT TO SHOUT, BUT YOU DON'T WANT PEOPLE IN YOUR
BUSINESS. FORGET EVERY LAST ONE OF THEM. I'M GRATEFUL THAT THE FALL DIDN'T BREAK ME. And for many of you, for many of you, the fall is fatal. What do I do when money is low? What do I do when folk walk out? And here's what I discovered. Hope you catch this. I hope you catch this. CUZ EVEN WHEN YOU DO FALL AND he catch you. >> YOU WANT TO KNOW WHAT BLESSED ME? Watch this. The push. Catch them. That time was different. So you got comfortable falling cuz he was catching you here. >> Lean. Then
he start catching you here. >> And many of y'all keep missing your breakthrough cuz who told you to break your fall? >> Am I preaching to anybody? You are not God. And so break your fall. Let me see what the break look like. Hear me? And you KEEP THINKING ALL MY DOCTORS WILL TELL YOU YOU AIN'T GOT ENOUGH STRENGTH TO CARRY YOUR BODY >> WITH ONE ARM. >> I just wanted them to leave you cuz I knew you deserve better. BUT HERE YOU GO TRYING TO BREAK YOUR FALL CRAWLING UNDER SOMEBODY NEW >> AND DON'T
REALIZE GOD IS LIKE I CAN'T FIX WHAT YOU KEEP BREAKING. >> Am I preaching TO ANYBODY IN THE BACK WHO CAN SAY, "PASTOR MIKE, I TRY TO BREAK MY FALL AND EVERY TIME I TRY TO FIX IT, I DON'T DO NOTHING BUT BREAK IT." YOU OUGHT TO JUMP UP AND SHOUT, "PREACH." He says, he says, "Do you trust me? You trust me? >> Watch this. >> Thank you. That's cute. Can you put the scripture on the screen, please? Come back. That's cute. But that ain't what the scripture says. >> The scripture don't say he pushed
me cutely. >> I want to apologize. Let me say this for you. On behalf of who's ever watching this, I apologize for the person you're looking at BECAUSE I DON'T KNOW HOW to be sensitive TO YOU CUZ YOU BE ON THE PHONE CRYING ABOUT CUTE PUSHES WHEN YOU DON'T HAVE A CLUE HOW VIOLENT MY LAST 6 MONTHS. If you done BEEN THROUGH SOME CRAZY STUFF, I NEED YOU ON YOUR FEET RIGHT THERE AND SAY, "I DONE SURVIVED THE WORST OF the worst, BUT WHAT DIDN'T KILL ME GAVE me clarity, and now I'm ready TO BE
BETTER." SOMEBODY SHOUT, "YEAH. Watch this. You push me violently. Watch this. But the Lord. Preacher Mike. He said, "But the Lord." THAT'S WHY YOU GOT TO APOLOGIZE TO PEOPLE WHO DIDN'T help you. Some of y'all can't get free CUZ YOU'RE TOO WORRIED ABOUT WHO didn't come through FOR YOU. AND GOD SAID, "I COULD LET THEM COME THROUGH FOR YOU CUZ YOU WOULD HAVE BEEN TESTIFYING ABOUT THEM AND NOT ME." GOD SAID, "IN THIS season of your life, can't nobody get you out of it but me." Next slide. Let's providence. It's providence. Providence. His providence. Let
me see WHAT HAPPENS IS GOD'S AT YOUR BEGINNING. HELP, MIKE. He's at your middle. and he's at YOUR END. >> GOD IS LIKE, "OKAY, I'm going to let the push happen, but I'mma manage the push." So, when he MANAGES THE PUSH, WATCH THIS. Some of you are in the season WHERE IT FEELS LIKE IT'S OVER. >> I'm going to say it again. It feels like it's over. >> It feels See, that's my problem. I never told you to bring him back. THAT'S WHY PEOPLE CAN'T STAND YOU. CUZ WHEN THEY SAW YOU IN YOUR LAST SEASON
YOU WERE HERE, THEY CAN'T FIGURE OUT AFTER EVERYTHING YOU'VE BEEN THROUGH, YOU JUST KEEP BOUNCING BACK. I NEED YOU TO PUSH YOUR NEIGHBOR AND SAY YOU GOT A BOUNCE BACK ANOINTING that every time the devil try to take YOU OUT, YOU BOUNCE BACK. I SPEAK YOU BOUNCING BACK FINANCIALLY, BOUNCING BACK SPIRITUALLY, BOUNCING BACK PHYSICALLY, LIFT UP YOUR HAND, all ye hear me. He says, I'm going just skip all my sermon. Here what it says. It says right here, it says he says, "You pushed me violently so that I was fallen. But the Lord help me.
This is good. I just need you to prophesy to three people around you and tell them God's getting ready to step in. That's the wrong somebody. I said prophesy to three people around you and TELL THEM GOD'S GETTING READY TO STEP IN. I need you to shake them and rock them and say he's getting ready to shift some stuff. Eyes have not seen and ears have not heard. He's getting ready to do Look at this. Come here. Come to this. Watch this. Come here. I'm going to see if you catch this. WHAT IF THE LEVEL
of your push is an example of the level of your prize? What if the level of your push is AN EXAMPLE OF THE LEVEL OF YOUR PRIZE? If you want a LITTLE BLESSING, YOU MIGHT GET A LITTLE PUSH. BUT IF YOU GOT A VIOLENT PUSH, YOU MIGHT get a radical blessing. I need YOU TO SHOUT, "GOD, GET READY to give me good measure." Press down. Shake it. Look at this. I'm going to just flow in my message right here. Look at what it says. I need you to catch this right here. Do me a favor.
Go to the message version of that same scripture. I want you to see what it says. Verse 23. I WANT YOU TO SEE WHAT IT SAYS right here. The message VERSION OF THAT SAME I WAS RIGHT on the edge of the cliff. You got to find that Psalms 118:13-14 message version. I was right on the cliff edge. See? Ready to fall. It's crazy. I was right on the cliff edge. Ready to fall. SOMETIMES GOD WILL SHOW YOU WHAT COULD happen cuz he's SETTING YOU UP FOR WHAT HE'S GETTING READY TO MAKE HAPPEN. He says, can

was right scripture ON THE EDGE READY TO FALL WHEN GOD GRABBED ME. >> You missed it, Karan. You missed it. You missed it, Karan. Look at your pastor. Cuz the reason you here ain't just because he grabbed you. >> The scripture says he grabbed me. >> And he held me. >> Okay, you you don't get it. You don't get it. I'll be him. Cuz I'll be out there. And God has a way of not only keeping me from myself, but the reason he held me is CUZ SOMETIMES I BE WANTING TO GO BACK TO MY
OLD WAYS. Sometimes I be in my phone like, "WHAT IF I just text them and what if I just go DRINK SOMETHING?" BUT GOD SAID, "I CAN'T LET YOU GO BACKWARDS." That's why I'm home. I was right on the edge of the cliff >> when God grabbed me. >> Help me. Next verse. God's my strength, >> my song, >> my salvation. Yeah. >> I need us to say that as a church. God's my >> God's my >> God's my >> That's too cute. It's too many pe 10,000 people in here. I NEED TO HEAR IT.
GOD'S MY >> GOD'S MY >> GOD'S my >> strength. He's what holds me up when I ain't got power. >> Song, he's the reason I still praise. >> Salvation, he just didn't get me. He got me out. But look at what it says in verse 15. Hear the shouts. Hear the triumph. Songs of the camp of the save. Here it is. The hand of God has turned. >> The tide. >> I'm in the wrong church. The hand of God has turned things around. I JUST WISH I HAD THREE FOLK WHO WOULD BUST a 360 right
there. And every time you turn, something just shifted in your life. He's turning your money. He's turning your mind. He's turning your peace. He's turning your marriage. He's turning your career. SLAP SEVEN PEOPLE. HIGH FIVE AND SHOUT. He's turning it. A hand of God has turned the tide. Do me a favor. Go back to verse 13. I'm going to send you home. Put verse 13 on the screen. Message version. I need them to see this. Verse 13. Put it on the screen. I was on the edge of the cliff. What did God do? Rock City.
>> All right. So, do me a favor. Grab somebody next to you on both sides. Just grab them. Hold them. Grab them and hold them. Thank you. Do me a favor. >> Go to verse 15. >> The hand of God >> has turned >> the tide. >> The hand of God >> has turned >> the tie. >> Do Do me a favor. >> Are you holding somebody with both hands? How you going to turn them >> if your hands are already occupied? >> IT'S BECAUSE GOD HAS THE ABILITY >> TO GET YOU, hold you, and
turn it at the same time. The next SEASON OF YOUR LIFE WON'T HAPPEN IN STEPS. Come here. God says, "I need you to do it. I I'M GOING TO GRAB YOU, HOLD YOU, TURN YOU." You missed it. I got it. I'M GOING TO GRAB YOU, HOLD YOU, turn you. I'm going to grab you, hold you, turn you. CUZ THE SEASON OF YOUR LIFE GOING IN THE WRONG direction is over. You understand? He said, "Let's go." The hand of God >> is raised in victory. >> You missed it. God says, "I'mma grab you. >> I'mma hold
you. >> I'mma turn you. >> Watch this. >> Then I'mma raise my hands in victory." >> Y'all missed that. Some of you keep losing cuz you too ready to celebrate. >> You ready to tell folk, "LOOK WHAT I DID." GOD SAID THE NEXT BLESSING, YOU AIN'T GOT A BROADCAST CUZ THAT AIN'T GOING TO BE THE LAST ONE. YOU GET READY TO STEP INTO A BACKTO BACKTO backto back season. I PROPHESY AMOS CHAPTER NINE OVER YOUR LIFE THAT EVERY time you turn AROUND HEAD SWIMMING FLIP. YEAH. YEAH. YEAH. The hand of God has turned the tie.
Verse 17. Here it is. This my message. That hit different for certain people right there. See, some of y'all folk don't know the half of what you've been through. THEY DON'T KNOW THE DOCTOR'S REPORT YOU NEVER TOLD THEM ABOUT. They don't know the hell you've been going through at home. THEY DON'T KNOW HOW TIGHT it's been financially. But you can lift your VOICE AND SAY, "I DIDN'T DIE. I may be bleed. I may be leaking. I may be bruised. I may be scarred. But I didn't die. I may have felt like I was dying. I
didn't die. >> Can I free you? >> We don't know who THE WRITER OF THIS SCRIPTURE IS. WE ASSUME EVERY SCRIPTURE IN PSALM IS WRITTEN BY DAVID, BUT nobody knows who the writer of this particular scripture is. >> SO BECAUSE WE DON'T NECESSARILY know the exact writer, I CAN ADOPT IT AS MY TESTIMONY. >> I did die. >> Here it is. >> I lived. >> Here it is. >> And now preach Mike, >> I'm telling the world what God did. I need somebody with a crazy testimony TO JUST PRAISE GOD THAT I AM A SURVIVOR.
That what the devil meant for evil, God shifted it for my hear me. And I want to say to you, >> if God didn't let it kill you, >> you still here for a reason. >> You don't know what your neighbor's going through. Can you just prophesy to them and say, "You're here for a reason. You No, I need you to really grab them by the hand and speak over their life. You're here for a reason. You're here for a reason." And look what he says. Verse 19, it's on the screen. >> Open for me
the gates. Thank you. Where the righteous enter, I will go in and thank the Lord. Verse 20, these gates lead to the presence of the Lord. Verse 21, thank you for answering my prayer and giving me victory. >> Verse 22, here's your resurrection message. The stone >> that the builders rejected >> has now BECOME THE CORNERSTONE. >> LOOK AT ME. Look at me. Look at me. Look at me. Pastor Mike, this scripture got something to do with resurrection. It's prophetic. The very one they rejected, >> became the foundation. >> Listen to you, pastor. Listen to
me. I pray that God get the bitterness out your heart. >> Listen to me. Cuz they about to come back. And God says, "I'm blessing you not so you can glow." >> God said, "I'm blessing you cuz you got enough integrity to be the foundation." >> Look at what it says. The stone that the builders rejected has now become the chief cornerstone. Verse 23. This is the Lord's doing. >> And it's marvelous in our sight. >> Now, here it is. Here it is. I'm going to give you a scripture you've been hearing your whole life
and didn't know where it came from. After all that hell he's been through, next verse. >> This is the day >> that the Lord has made. WE GET READY TO GO. I THIS YOUR LAST PRAISE. THIS IS the day that the Lord has made. YOU MEAN TO TELL ME YOU'VE BEEN THROUGH ALL THAT HELL? YEP. AND THIS IS THE DAY. YOU MEAN TO TELL ME FOLKS walked out your life and this is the day. You mean to tell ME YOU ALMOST LOST YOUR MIND? This is the day that the Lord has made. I will rejoice.
Uh-oh. Put that scripture on the screen. Let's read it together. I want to see if you catch it. Ready? Go. >> This is the day >> that the Lord is. >> Pause. >> You've been taught in church. >> I will rejoice. >> But in this scripture, he says, >> "WE DONE MADE IT THROUGH SO MUCH. >> That I'm not going to let you leave me praising by myself. I need you to find YOU A PARTNER ON YOUR ROW AND LOOK AT HIM AND SAY, "THIS IS THE DAY THAT THE LORD HAS MADE. We will rejoice.
We will rejoice. We will give him glory. We will give him honor. We will give him glory." Hear me. Listen to me. God will take what people rejected and make it the biggest blessing they ever seen. They rejected Jesus. They crucified Jesus. They buried Jesus. But God raised him from the dead and made him the foundation of our salvation. I know you heard it before, but if he got up And so hear me vine. >> Pastor Mike, what you want me to do with this? >> I want you to leave here knowing whether it's this
week, October, this time next year, something might jump off in your life. >> Opposition ain't accidental. >> I'm I'm going to say this, and I want you to I want this to pierce your brain in such a way that you hear me saying it in your sleep. The world told you. Let me say that better. Kanye West told you. >> He got the quote from Frederick Wilham Nichi. He said, "What doesn't kill you >> makes you stronger." At 42 now, I understand what doesn't kill you clarifies you. >> God says, "I PUT YOU THROUGH SOME
STUFF >> SO YOU CAN BE ABSOLUTELY CLEAR ABOUT WHO YOU are >> and what you possess. And can I ask you a question? Who's been through some stuff? >> Who's survived some stuff? >> Let me Who's going through some stuff but don't look like what you're going through? >> But do me a favor. Look at your neighbor. Say, "I'm not going to be arrogant. I'm I'm not going to be stuck up." Tell them, "I'm not going to think I'm better than you." Touch five people and tell them you're coming out of this. You're not going
to die. Tell them you're not going to be braggadocious. You're not going to be arrogant. Tell them you going to be humble. You going to be anointed. Look back at your neighbor and SAY, "HOW CAN YOU BE SO SURE?" Cuz I remember when I remember I remember when he saved my life. Everything before that was just a blur. I was wild, living real far. I just wasn't right. Every real praise ought to throw your head back. Can't a holler one time. I remember when I remember. I remember when he changed my name. From sick to
heal, from broke to blast. Now we can testify that we'll never be the same. Come on. God is amazing. Come on, sing and praise him. Say he is. Can anybody testify? The truth is I should be great. Hey, thank God he's Anybody still alive can shout. >> That's why I believe. >> I need the whole arena to sing it. Say, "God is >> simply amazing." >> Come on. He is. >> He is amazing. >> That's why I believe. >> Everybody taking somebody by the hand. >> Even if you got to stretch across your row. Oh.
in my soul. That's the sound of deliverance right there. You didn't come to no concert. You didn't come to a production. You came to see God move. If you're holding somebody's hand, I need you praying right there. I need you praying for them right now. No injury, no accident, nothing shall keep them from what you called them to be. Come on. I need you praying. I need you praying. I need you praying. I need you praying. I need you praying. Come on. I need you praying. Let me hear the sound of 10,000 prayer warriors. Somebody
raise your heart. Father, in the name of Jesus, God, we repent for everything we did knowingly and unknowingly. Father, we pray that your mercy, your grace flow like never before. God, I am incomplete without you. >> There is a void in my soul that money, fame, drugs, sex, notoriety, nothing can fill. It is a godsized void that only you can fill. So God, in this moment, we repent. We repent for every sin of omission and commission. Cuz God, every time we sin, we crucify you a new. >> So God, we can't judge the people who
pissed you in their side. Every time I sin, I do it. >> God, you were nailed in your hands, nailed in your feet, crown of thorns on your head, pierced in the side just for me. I may have a troubled past, but you died for me. I may be in the streets wild, but you died for me. I may be a murderer, a killer, a drug dealer, a liar, a cheater, and a thief. But God, you died for me. That's why I love you, God, cuz your blood ain't Kool-Aid. What can wash away our sins?
What can make us whole again? Nothing but the blood >> of Jesus. You may be here, every head bowed, every eye closed, and you want to rededicate your life to Christ. Let me tell you the truth. I just want this moment. In this moment, if if you walked out this building and you don't know where you would go if you got hit by a bus, maybe maybe you just drifted. You're not in your word like you need to. You just came to church with your girl, but some of you is like, "I got to get
right." >> If that's you, just squeeze your neighbor's hand. It's real simple. I just want to rededicate my life to Christ. Just squeeze your neighbor's hand. Maybe you're here and you don't know Jesus. Falling in love with Jesus, the best thing I've ever done. Everything in my life is because of my relationship with God. If you're here and you've never been saved and something in you is saying, "I want to give my life to Christ." Maybe you're a teenager and you're sitting up top in a section and you can't believe that these young people that
excited about God. They're not perfect. They make mistakes. They flawed. They still learning how to grow up, but they're at least aggressive about saying, "You know what? While I'm figuring it out, I'm going just give God everything I got." >> Maybe that's you. YOU'RE A YOUNG PERSON. JUST SQUEEZE your neighbor's hand. Now, here's what I want you to do. Every head bowed, every eye closed. Just somebody squeeze your hand. Just lift that hand high as you can. Lift. Look at God. Look at God. Repeat after me. Say, "Lord, come into my
