My prayer today is for you, just as this woman today goes to meet Jesus to ask for the liberation of her daughter. My prayer today is for you, and may you also have the experience of this woman, presenting in your prayer so many dear and beloved people who, perhaps alone, will never be able to get out of the place where they find themselves and need your prayer. Son, daughter, welcome to the daily meditation on the word of God.
What a joy to gather here every day for the encounter with God. I am Sister Maria Raquel of the Hesed Institute, and I welcome you with great faith and joy to this daily meditation on the word of God. Let us go to the Gospel.
In the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit. Amen. Come, Holy Spirit, come through the powerful intercession of the Immaculate Heart of Mary, your most beloved spouse.
Gospel according to Saint Mark, chapter 7, verses 24 to 30. At that time, Jesus left and went to the region of Tyre and Sidon. He entered a house and did not want anyone to know where he was, but he could not remain hidden.
A woman whose daughter had an unclean spirit heard about Jesus. She went to him and fell at his feet. The woman was a Gentile, born in Phoenician Syria.
She begged Jesus to cast the demon out of her daughter. Jesus said, “Let the children be fed first, for it is not right to take the children’s bread and throw it to the dogs. ” The woman replied, “Yes, Lord, but even the dogs under the table eat the children’s crumbs.
” Then Jesus said to her, “For this saying, you may go home; the demon has left your daughter. ” She went home and found her daughter lying on the bed, for the demon had left her. The Word of the Lord.
Glory to you, Lord. What a powerful word. While we were proclaiming this word, the Lord was already giving me the certainty of so many liberations that were happening as the word was proclaimed.
. . .
and received in a heart full of faith. This word cannot remain inoperative. It works, it accomplishes what is being proclaimed.
Jesus is here expelling the evil spirit from this son, from this daughter. How many families meditate daily, listening to this meditation gathered there while they are having breakfast. That mother who, with great wisdom, shares the word of God, a brief meditation while the children have breakfast, while the family passes through the kitchen, and this meditation is there.
And believe me, this word is being fulfilled now. We may not see it with human eyes, but faith tells me, faith tells us, liberations are happening now through the power of this word. We began this meditation by saying: "It is always possible to do something for those we love and see.
They need help, they do. And our hands can always be raised to the heavens. We can always commend these people to the Lord, saying: "Lord, take care of my daughter.
Lord, take care of my son. " Lord, take care of my husband, my wife, this friend, this friend, including those who often wish us harm. To say: "Lord, also take care of my enemies.
" Isn't that right? That comes to my heart so strongly. Now you place yourself in the Lord's hands so that He may be your protection and ask this Lord for the conversion of all friends, enemies, those who love you and those who don't love you, those who wish you well and those who don't, those who bless you and even those who curse you.
Jesus takes care of all of them. Only the Spirit gives us this freedom. And the Lord is saying today, pray, ask for this person.
My prayer today is for you. May you, by sharing this video, say this to all these people. They need it, yes, it's important.
They need your prayer. And how encouraged, revived they will feel when you say: "Look, I'm praying for you. " How many times are we approached by so many people, by friends who tell us about the difficulties, the problems they are going through, and they say, "My God, what can I do for this person ?
Can I go to the Lord and introduce them to Jesus? " And in truth, that is the first thing we should always do, because all other measures will only be successful if we first address this. I presented her to the Lord.
And look, this woman went to Jesus because she had heard about Jesus. Someone told her about Jesus. Someone introduced Jesus to her.
Son, the second thing you should write down in your spiritual journal, in your prayer notebook, is: I need to tell someone about Jesus today. I leave you with this purpose. When you share the link to this message, you are already telling someone about Jesus.
Take on this purpose today. I need to talk about Jesus. I need to proclaim the merciful love of the Lord.
This woman, your daughter, only experienced liberation because someone told her about Jesus. You know that friend? You know that person who is in a dead end, a closed street, in the sense that they see no way out of that problem, the famous dead end.
But that's because that person hasn't yet heard about the God of the impossible. They haven't yet heard about a God who works miracles. She hasn't yet heard of a God who truly loves us and who gave his life for us, but she had n't heard of Him yet, because today she will hear about Jesus, like Sister Maria Raquel, through you.
The word of God is always dynamic. God is asking two things of you today. Of me and of you.
First, present to the Lord in your prayer this dear person, this beloved person, or this person not so well known, but whose story you know. This person needs you, Jesus. I am one of those friends of the paralytic who are now lifting this person onto the roof and presenting them to you.
Just as you healed the paralytic, just as you freed this girl, heal and free this person now. Jesus, I trust in you. I know that the Lord is acting, and I thank you already.
You are asking this of the Lord, and He is asking something of you. He is asking you to speak of Him to someone today. How does faith come?
Through preaching, but how will people want it if there's no one to preach, no one to announce? You are called to announce Jesus. You are called to announce the Lord.
And believe, believe. The life of the person to whom you are announcing Jesus will be transformed. You may not realize it at first, you may not see it at first.
The testimony I receive in the army of Saint Michael is like that. My mother, my father, my brother, my friend send me the link to the daily meditation on the word every day, but I never opened it. Until the day that, until that day, sometimes a difficulty appeared, an emptiness touched my heart, an anguish invaded my soul.
And I remembered that link, that word, it was there. I had the first experience and everything, everything was transformed, starting with me, starting with my heart. And today I am here to testify.
Do you understand that you need to be persistent? That woman could have left. When Jesus said to her, "It is not right to take the children's bread and throw it to the dogs," This woman could have left, accusing Jesus and saying, "He is not what they say he is.
He sent me away. " No, this woman had humility, she had persistence. And that's what you and I also need in this daily work of evangelization, in this day-to-day work, fighting for the conversion of people: persistence, not giving up.
The third thing the Lord is telling you today is: look at how many things you would have deprived yourself of if you hadn't opened your heart to this word. Look, perhaps you hardly did your daily meditation on the word today. Don't waste grace.
This is a school, a school of prayer, of formation. Here we receive spiritual direction through the strength, through the power of the word. We are spiritually guided.
You receive spiritual direction every day so that you may succeed in what you do, in what you accomplish. Because walking with the Lord, walking with the word, is having the certainty of victory in each of our endeavors. It is having the certainty of the victory that your faith can bring us.
I surrender. Thank God you are here. I thank God because my prayer reaches heaven.
I am certain of it. The angels, the Lord, carry incense from this prayer. And my prayer today is for you.
You who feel tired. You who have sometimes said: "I have nothing more. " "Strength to pray.
" You who feel a deep sadness, this spirit of fear, of emptiness, my prayer today is for you. I wanted you to have this experience, to tell someone today, so that they may receive the comfort of this prayer as you and I are receiving it. Because one day someone said to me: "Sister Maria Raquel, my prayer today is for you.
" And I was sustained and strengthened by that prayer. Son, daughter, tell someone today. Send this message, share this link and say: "My prayer today is for you.
" Many times it's all we need to hear, it's all we need to know. Is someone praying for me? Is someone with me in this battle?
I am not alone. And gratitude was born in my heart. Thank you.
Thank you for praying for me. And this is a chain that cannot stop, you know? Intercession cannot stop where this word reaches, and it keeps advancing, and the word of God keeps advancing, and it keeps reaching, and it keeps transforming, it keeps consoling, it keeps strengthening, it keeps protecting, it keeps lifting up, it keeps reviving, it keeps liberating, it keeps healing.
This is so beautiful. It has been going on for over 2000 years, and there is no human power, no worldly power that can stop this word, that can cool this wave of intercession, of prayer. There is no hatred in this world that can stop love.
Thank you, Lord, for this word. Thank you for lifting me up. Thank you for so many teachings.
Thank you for having a family of prayer that prays and intercedes for me. I believe that the Lord is truly liberating me, my family, those for whom I am praying. I truly believe this.
I believe. Pray. Let us commend ourselves to the Blessed Virgin Mary for the power that God the Father granted her.
Hail Mary, full of grace, the Lord is with thee. Blessed are you among women, and blessed is the fruit of your womb, Jesus. Holy Mary, Mother of God, pray for us sinners, now and at the hour of our death.
Amen. For the wisdom granted to her by God the Son. Hail Mary, full of grace, the Lord is with thee.
Blessed are you among women, and blessed is the fruit of thy womb, Jesus. Holy Mary, Mother of God, pray for us sinners, now and at the hour of our death. Amen.
For the love granted to her by God the Holy Spirit. Hail Mary, full of grace, the Lord is with thee. Blessed are you among women, and blessed is the fruit of thy womb, Jesus.
Holy Mary, Mother of God, pray for us sinners, now and at the hour of our death. Amen. Pray for us, Holy Mother of God, that we may be made worthy of the promises of Christ.
In the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit. Amen. God bless you, your whole family, and until tomorrow's daily meditation on the word of God.
