He wasn't coming up the middle way, too wide. Tommy was able to weather the storm in there. A lot of serious power, but Eddie wasn't able to capitalize.
Landing clean shots. You see Tommy let his hands go, [music] escaping both of the right side and the left side in round six. >> Yeah, like I said, it was more boxing and technique from Tommy, but there were a couple shots from Eddie that got through throughout the fight.
Just [music] it wasn't enough with the volume for me, but again, hell of an effort from Eddie Hall. >> 100% I love what I saw from Eddie Hall. He gave 100%.
A lot of people thought they were going to come in here and go easy and uh Eddie did anything but that. He was very [music] aggressive and uh Tommy just outsmarted him, outboxed him. >> A return to the ring for the king of crossover boxing, but a memorable debut effort from the beast Eddie Hall who I would love to see back in this setting.

These people had your back as well throughout it. It was A TOUGH NIGHT, BUT you showed some sparks in there. >> Yeah, I did.
You know, Tommy was a really hard guy to catch and I knew that was going to be the case. Uh I had to have a really good engine just to keep up with his pace and then it ultimately that's what beat me in the end. Just that engine running about.
I couldn't catch him. And uh sorry for the the back hand. I've been training MMA for 2 years, so that back hand came in action.
So uh hopefully I'll get back to MMA now. Maybe back in Misfits. But if there's another boxing fight, I'll carry on boxing with whatever it is.
