media bars spend most of the time in the ads manager but they're not using it to its full potential here are eight ads manager features that can boost your efficiency number three is a game changer number one is Media Library there's more effective solution than waiting for your video to upload when you're creating a new ad it's called media library in your business manager so here's how to use hamburger menu you go here to the media library think of this as a Google Drve for your ad so how to actually use it so every time when I have a client I create a new folder let's say client one create a folder when you create a folder for each of the client you can create additional folders based either on the month or the type of the creatives that you're getting so you keep everything organized the important note here is that you need to make sure to to share this folder with the other team members so they can access the creative that's inside that folder because otherwise when they create an ad they will be shown an error so that's definitely something that you need to do it would save you some time uploading all of the creatives instead of uploading the creatives when you create the ads number two customization of your columns so here you can customize the columns um here you have a nice hack where you can create a custom metric uh let's say aov so here you can say um purchase value divided with number of purchases you call that AO and it's in a dollar amount or currency and then you create a metric so how am I actually setting up my columns I'm setting up in a way that they are mirroring the funnel so first we set a budget that budget is being spent then I like to know on which attribution setting I'm running this is the most important thing obviously results and cost per results but how actually ad is served ad is reaching people we get number of Impressions people click on the ad people land on our website people go to product page where view content is fired I can see at what frequency we are reaching our people my video average Play Time thumb stop ratio and hold rate which is indicator of uh video performance then I have CPM CPC and click rate which are pretty much front end metrics After People land on product page where view content is fired then we have add to cards cost per to card checkouts cost per checkout purchases cost per purchases purchase value Ross aov and conversion rate how it looks like in the at account you can see here and immediately I can spot where we have drops let's say we have too many at cards but not much check outs or too many checkouts but not much purchases and stuff like that so this is pretty useful if you want to understand how to actually fix those gaps check the video on my channel third thing is attribution settings and how to actually compare those attribution settings so default attribution setting that Facebook is recommending is 7day Click one day view that means that Facebook would report for the sale if it happens within 7 Day when someone clicked the ad or within one day when someone viewed the ad so depending how popular your brand is how many organic channels there is and like how many influencers are posting sometimes you can get into position that Facebook is claiming more sales than it is actually responsible so here's a snapshot from one of the ad accounts you can see that Ross is 1. 33 we spent 235k but 7day click Ross is only 1. 01 while view Ross is 1.
11 so that means that in this case Facebook is getting more view through conversions than click conversions you can see here 3,00 and 2,800 click conversions so that means that if I'm looking based on a Ross let's say this total Ross I might be thinking hey this is performing great but I let's say for this client my target is 1. 1 but I know my click Ross is very very bad but on the other case like this is pretty much an exception because in most cases you'll get more sales from click so in this account you can see that we have way more click sales than view sales so Ross on click is 2. 28 r on one day view is 0.
