Matthew 14:31 says immediately Jesus reached out his hand and caught him you of little faith he said why did you doubt oh you of little faith why did you doubt that's the question Jesus asked Peter as the Lord pulled his disciple up from the water at the Lord's invitation Peter had walked on water to come to Jesus but before he made it to Jesus the howling wind and the storm tossed waves caused Peter to fear as the fear set in he began to sink by the Lord's power Peter had done the impossible he had walked

on water but doubt and fear caused Peter to lose focus on Jesus and threatened his life perhaps Jesus's question seems a bit harsh surely we can sympathize with Peter who wouldn't have have a bit of Doubt while walking on a stormy sea and yet the Lord's desire was for Peter's Faith to triumph over doubt you see doubt is a dangerous weapon in Satan's Arsenal and it is one that Christians must strive to overcome if you've ever struggled with doubt then I need you to realize that you are not alone there are many good people who

have consider Sarah the wife of Abraham few few individuals stand as examples of Faith like Abraham and Sarah but even Sarah wrestled with doubt in Genesis 18 God informed Abraham that he and Sarah would have a son while that should be Exciting news it seemed impossible because the couple was advanced in years they were too old to have children Sarah overheard this announcement and the Bible records so Sarah laughed to herself saying after I am worn out and my Lord is old shall I have pleasure that may not seem like a big deal but the

word laugh can mean to laugh in justest or to laugh in scorn it seems the latter is what Sarah Did she laughed because she doubted the Lord's promise Sarah tried to deny it but God's question was direct is anything too hard for the Lord this demonstrates one of the primary problems with doubt doubt r feels that we don't fully trust God when we doubt it's as though we're saying I don't believe God can do this maybe we doubt our sins can be forgiven perhaps we doubt the gospel can change someone in our lives essentially Doubt

is nothing short of thinking less of God and his power now that's a dangerous mindset indeed and then of course we have doubting time Thomas for whatever reason Thomas was not with the other disciples in the upper room on the day of Jesus's resurrection he wasn't there to see the Lord with his own eyes and when the others reported to Thomas that Jesus had risen he didn't believe them he famously said unless I see in his hands the mark Of the nails and place my finger into the mark of the nails and place my hand

into his side I will never believe Thomas's doubt robbed him of much joy at least for a time it was another 8 days before Jesus appeared to the disciples again this time Thomas was present and his doubts they were blown away but think about this for a little more than a week the other disciples lived with the joy of knowing Jesus their teacher their friend their Messiah he was alive If Thomas had remembered the Lord's words and believed the other disciples testimony he could have shared in their joy and hope instead Thomas spent that week

in the pit of despair and depression because doubt is a robber of joy and doubt can have dire consequences Sarah's doubt was overcome and she witnessed God's power when she later conceived and bore a son just as God had promised Thomas's doubt was defeated by seeing the Risen Lord but Others in the Bible were not so fortunate for their doubt condemned them in Luke's gospel he records that one of the two thieves crucified with Jesus was saved one Thief stopped reviling Jesus defended the Lord and asked Jesus to remember him when he entered his kingdom

that's a lot of faith for a dying man but what about the other Thief it would seem he didn't have the same change of heart he mocked Jesus and never placed his faith in the Lord why it was Probably because of doubt he likely doubted that a crucified man a dying man had any power to save he doubted Jesus was the Messiah he doubted Jesus was the son of God and that doubt was his ultimate downfall again doubt has consequences even in Daily life we understand this truth when a detective doubts a witness's testimony or

a suspect's alibi that will significantly affect his investigation when a jury doubts a Defendant's claims it may have life-altering consequences when a husband or wife doubts the Loyalty of their spouse it can ruin their marriage doubt and suspicion will change how they think and how they treat one another doubt can become a poison it can be a poison that destroys an otherwise loving relationship yes doubt certainly has consequences and this is especially true Spiritually when the Christian Harbors doubts the consequences can be devastating James warns against this great danger James 1: 5-8 says if you

need Wisdom ask our generous God and he will give it to you he will not rebuke you for asking but when you ask him be sure that your faith is in God alone do not waver for a person with divided loyalty is as unsettled as a wave of the sea that is blown and tossed by the wind such people should not expect to receive Anything from the Lord their loyalty is divided between God and the world and they are unstable in everything they do you see dear listener the problem with doubt is that it is

the opposite of faith faith is what helps us stand firm doubt will toss us around like a ship on a stormy sea with no anchor faith it gives us stability and strength but doubt doubt makes us unstable and unable to Faithfully serve God when we are ruled by doubt instead of Faith even Our prayers are hindered according to James yes doubt is a grave danger with terrible consequences doubt turns our eyes away from Jesus causes us to question God robs us of joy and even hinders our prayers worst of all if we persist in doubt

it can even Rob us of Eternal salvation but I need you to realize you do not have to succumb to doubt even if doubts have plagued the past you can overcome them how the same way Peter did Turn to Jesus and seek his help don't let the winds and waves cause doubt keep your eyes firmly fixed on Jesus and his word place your trust in him and follow him Faithfully all the days of your life now with this understanding that we cannot please God without faith that faith is an essential part of our Christian Life

lives let us go Before the Throne of God and ask him to help us be emboldened to walk in faith and to act In faith every single day of Our Lives Lord Jesus be praised be glorified and honored Lord we desire to grow in faith we desire to grow in understanding father we want to grow in wisdom Matthew 7: 24-27 says therefore whoever hears these sayings of mine and does them I will liken him to a wise man who built his house on the rock and the rain descended the floods came and the winds blew

and beat on that house and it Did not fall for it was founded on the Rock but everyone who hears these sayings of mine and does not do them will be like a foolish man who built his house on the sand and the rain descended the floods came and the winds blew and beat on that house and it fell and great was its fall Lord Jesus we will build our lives on your words because our house will not fall when it's built on you master god you're the Rock of Ages and So when The Rains

of Life come when the floods of Life come when the winds blow in beat on us we will not fall because you Lord are our anchor our Chief Cornerstone and the solid rock on which we stand father forgive us for the times that we have doubted you Lord I pray that you would displace any doubt and fill our hearts with faith I ask that the Holy Spirit would Empower us and strengthen us when we feel weak Holy Ghost remind us that God's word in 2 Corinthians 12: 9 and 10 says and he said to me

my grace is sufficient for you for my strength is made perfect in weakness therefore most gladly I will rather boast in my infirmities that the power of Christ May rest upon me therefore I take pleasure in infirmities in reproaches in need in persecutions in distresses for Christ's sake for when I am weak then I am Strong we believe your word Lord Jesus whenever we're weak you are the source of our strength whenever we feel powerless we're strong in you Lord I Praise You Lord because your grace is sufficient to meet our every Need Your Loving

kindness it's enough to fill every void in our lives and I praise you God because your mercy is more than enough your mercy is always available and never ending it covers a multitude of Sins for this Lord we are ever grateful and I pray for anyone struggling with fear in their lives anyone who may be wrestling with doubt May the Holy Ghost move into their lives and remove every spirit that stands against the word of God May the Holy Spirit sweep away every negative thought or voice that stands against the word of God I pray

that the Holy Spirit would keep us anchored in the word of God keep us rooted in Scripture father cast out all our worries all our fears and every doubt in Joshua 1:9 the word of God says have I not commanded you be strong and courageous do not be afraid do not be discouraged for the Lord your God will be with you wherever you go as your children father we will not fear because you are with us you are the god of Abraham Isaac and Jacob a God who has never lost a battle and so father

we Are only strong and courageous because you are on our side Lord help us not to be overwhelmed by the trials of this life father be glorified and be praised forever more it's in jesus' name I pray amen if you need Wisdom ask our generous God and he will give it to you he will not rebuke you for asking but when you ask him be sure that your faith is in God alone alone do not waver for a Person with divided loyalty is as unsettled as a wave of the sea that is blown and tossed

by the wind such people should not expect to receive anything from the Lord their loyalty is divided between God and the world and they are unstable in everything they do what do you do when you're sitting across from the doctor and the report isn't good what do you do when you look at your bank statement you look at your Bills and the numbers just don't add up what do you do when life hits you with the unexpected when life hits you hard and catches you on your Blind Side if there's one thing that you should

know and expect it's that the reality of Life can sometimes be Earth shattering and harsh and perhaps you may not be able to turn your situation around immediately but I pray that my words Today will plant seeds of faith in your spirit don't be discouraged by what you see don't be discouraged by what you hear your life is in God's hands and that's something you should actually tell yourself every once in a while my life is in God's hands your health may not be where you want it to be but I encourage you to do

all that you can and ask God to meet you halfway your dream May seem like it's no longer possible but I encourage you to Continue pursuing God whether or not you become a doctor whether or not you become an attorney or Pilot don't remove God from his throne in your life all because you're disappointed God Is Bigger Than That which comes against you and if the fight intensifies your own thoughts become Negative they start telling you that this situation is permanent this result is Permanent don't be discouraged even though it looks hopeless the word of

God says joy comes in the morning to everything there is a season so this too shall pass don't be moved by what you see in the natural eye but rely on the word of God that you know the word that says God is good a stronghold in the day of trouble focus on that instead of what's disappointed You the word that says you are my Hiding Place and my shield it says I will look to the Lord I will wait for the god of my salvation my God will hear me your life is in God's

hands your future is in God's hands if life hits you and you fall wouldn't it be better to fall into the Loving Arms of Jesus Christ than anywhere else so don't be defined by a Diagnosis don't be defined by the numbers in your bank account I've had to talk to myself and remind myself that I have a Creator who has a plan and God's plan will still Prevail God's will will still be done he has ordered my steps and so I am not alone my beginning and my end is known by him my highs and

your lows are known by Him and I will walk by faith and not by sight believing that the Lord has numbered my good days to exceed my bad days so get to the point where you are content and at peace to say Lord my life is in your hands you have said be anxious for nothing you have said that you know the number of ha s on my head and so I Surrender and yield to your will father your word in Psalm 18 verse 1-6 says I love you Lord my strength the Lord is my

rock my Fortress and my deliverer my God Is My Rock in whom I take refuge my shield and the Horn of my salvation my stronghold I called to the Lord who is worthy of praise and I have been saved from my enemies the cords of death entangled me the torments of Destruction overwhelmed me the cords of the Grave coiled around me the snares of death confronted me in my distress I called to the Lord I cried to my God for help from his Temple he Heard my voice My Cry came before him into his ears

emotions are and can be very powerful I've seen people so happy that their faces were covered in tears tears of joy I've seen people so distraught and filled with sorrow that they couldn't string together two words I've seen others be so inspired and motivated that they could work day and night tirelessly to accomplish Something or to achieve something I read a powerful quote on something Billy Graham said many years ago he said that 75% of patients in hospitals would be made whole if they would only forgive think about that some people hold on to certain

emotions certain negative emotions for so long and eventually those those emotions manifest themselves in sickness Proverbs 14:30 says a heart at peace gives life to the body but Envy rots the bones Envy is a feeling of jealousy it's resentment and the Bible tells us that Envy an internal emotion rots the bones meaning it has a physical external result Hebrews 12: 14- 15 says pursue peace with all people and Holiness without which no one will see the Lord looking carefully lest anyone fall short of the grace of God lest any root of bitterness Springing up cause

trouble and by this many become defiled notice that this verse doesn't even warn us to be cautious I of bitterness itself it warns us to be cautious of the root the root of bitterness now the root of a plant is not visible to the naked eye we may only be aware that a seed was planted when we see the fruit so when the Bible says see to it that no root of bitterness Springs up it's because this emotion of Bitterness is so destructive that it needs to be uprooted as soon as the seed germinated the

Bible is telling us not to even wait until you see the fruit of bitterness cut it off at the root and so dear listener I'm aware that in this life all of us will experience unpleasant emotions at one point or another we will experience the pain of portrayal we'll experience heartache and loss we might even suffer m treatment and Injustice but my message to you is that you should learn to forgive learn to Let Go Don't hold on to everything negative pray for the Lord to heal your wounds pray for the Lord to mend your

broken heart pray that you would be someone who doesn't repay evil with evil but instead have the love of Christ and repay evil with good I encourage you to pray for God God to give you the capacity to be able to forgive and move on don't live a life Where you're imprisoned by toxic emotions no Jesus Christ offers you peace Joy Victory despite what people do to you in Jesus you can have freedom you can have life and have it more abundantly now let us pray dear Lord I pray pray that your grace would be

over us someone listening has been betrayed and I pray that you would heal them Lord and let them know that you will never abandon them you will never turn your back on Them someone listening has been the recipient of hurtful words someone has had evil words spoken against them spoken about them and Lord I ask that your healing hand would mend every heart and every ear that has been on the receiving end of hurtful or cruel words help us to forgive let there be no bitterness in our hearts Let There Be No Malice in our

hearts let there be no jealousy or hate in our hearts instead Lord Jesus heal our Wounds heal every wound inflicted by our enemies every wound inflicted by our friends or even loved ones make us whole and fill our hearts with love teach us to love help us to live by Your Word which tells us to love our neighbors give us the grace Lord Jesus to live and to love according to 1 Corinthians 13: 4-8 which says love suffers long and is kind love does not envy love does not parade itself Is not puffed up does

not behave rudely does not seek its own is not provoked thinks no evil does not rejoice in inequity but rejoices in the truth Bears all things believes all things hopes all things endures all things Love Never Fails but whether there are prophecies they will fail whether there are tongues they will cease whether there is knowledge it will vanish away give us this type of love in our hearts Jesus so that when others do evil To us we can respond and repay them with love when others speak negatively about us and to us give us great

grace so that we may be able to love them regardless of what they say against us I pray for everyone listening Lord Jesus would you please heal every wound of portrayal for the person who feels rejected and unwanted I pray that you would heal every wound inflicted by the actions of others heal every ear that has heard cruel words spoken against Them to those who feel low Lord Jesus I pray that you would lift up their Spirit to those who are sad and have a heavy heart remove their burdens Lord Jesus father uproot every root

of bitterness and resentment in our hearts uproot every memory linked to negative and toxic emotions in our hearts help us to let go give us the strength to practice forgiveness give us the grace to practice real love in our lives your word in Romans 12 verse 9-2 says love Must be sincere hate what is evil cling to what is good be devoted to one another in love honor one another above yourselves never be lacking in Zeal but keep your spiritual fervor serving the lord be joyful in Hope patient in Affliction faithful in prayer help us

to do this Lord help us to love sincerely help us to cling to what is good and to hate what is evil help us to be devoted to each other in love I thank you for listening to this Prayer may the blood of Jesus Christ cover us amen I was recently watching a documentary about Hospital emergencies in New York City and this particular documentary takes you behind the scenes so that you can see how surgeons doctors nurses how they all respond to Medical emergencies and in one episode one of the surgeons who had been operating

on other people he actually got into a skiing accident himself and he needed The help of the people who he worked with now this got me to thinking this surgeon was always on the other side he was always on the other side of the emergency room he was always on the other side of the operating table because he was the one operating he was the expert telling the patient that everything will be okay he was always the one giving the news never the one waiting to receive the news and that made me think what Happens

when it's you what happens when you're the one who now needs to be encouraged but you're so used to encouraging others what happens when you now need others to pray for you but for so long you've been the one to pray for others so often as Christians we encourage each other we tell each other to have faith we tell each other to believe that God will turn it around for you how many people in our lives have we Prayed for have we encouraged we've told them that their Miracle is on its way their healing is

on its way you know you know how we do but at one point in our lives we will be the ones praying for a miracle in our own lives at some point in our lives we'll be the person on the other side we'll be the patient we'll be the one in need of encouragement so knowing this what do You do well I'd like for you to pay attention to the words of Jesus in Matthew 7: 24- 27 the Bible reads anyone who listens to my teaching and follows it is wise like a person who builds

a house on Solid Rock though the rain comes in torrents and the flood waters rise and the winds beat against that house it won't collapse because it is built on bedrock but anyone who hears my teaching and Doesn't obey it is foolish like a person who builds a house on Sand when the rains and floods come and the winds beat against that house it will collapse with a mighty crash the way that we prepare to face the challenges of life is by building our house on the solid rock and that rock is Jesus Christ you

see this means that when The Rains of Life pour Down when the river floods or or a tornado hits nothing can move your house nothing can move you because you're standing on the solid rock called Jesus Christ so while things are well with you continue to build your house on Jesus continue to stand on the Solid Rock of Ages is and so as we prepare to go to the Lord in prayer I just encourage you to Remember that one day you will be on the other side one thing is certain life will present its storms

but there's one thing that is even more certain if you are rooted in Christ if you are built on that Solid Rock you can withstand so let's pray and and ask God to help us build on him Lord Jesus when life challenges us stand with us Lord when life is difficult God give us strength to stand firm in faith stand by us when life presents us with hardship Lord I pray that you would defend us when we are under attack from the enemy remind us that your love is forever with us remind us that your

word in Psalm 23:6 says surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life and I will dwell in the house of the Lord forever when we encounter troubling times in life Lord help us to remember that the Bible says in Deuteronomy 31:6 be strong and courageous do not be afraid or terrified because of them for the Lord your God goes with you he will never leave you nor forsake you Lord Jesus we're looking to you today Father we look to you for strength for direction for protection for Preservation we look to

you for provision mercy and peace dear Lord we're limited I've looked Within Myself for strength but I have come to find that I am not strong enough I've looked Within Myself for Direction but now I know that I am not wise enough oh I've tried to look Within Myself for motivation and happiness but Lord I have come to find That true Joy can only be found when we look to you our true purpose can only be found in you your word in Psalm 119: 36-38 says incline my heart to your testimonies and not to dishonest

gain and envy turn my eyes away from vanity all those worldly meaningless things that distract let your priorities be mine and Restore me with Renewed Energy in your ways establish your word and confirm your promise to your servant as that which produces all inspired reverence for you Lord turn our eyes away from worldly things turn our eyes away from worthless things God and help us to have Minds fixed on Christ and eyes fixed on Jesus because when we look to you when we focus on you master you'll turn our lives around And you'll demonstrate that

you can take us from the lowest of the low and use us For Your Glory help us Master to keep our eyes fixed on Jesus because if we stray and wander we will begin to look at what's around us instead of Jesus Christ this leads us to distractions and that leads us to become preoccupied with things with situations with events that don't even matter we'll become focused on the Things that are of this world instead of the things that are Eternal Father we're limited whereas you are Limitless we cannot look ahead into the future with

our natural eyes so we look to the one who holds the past the present and the future I thank you Lord Jesus for all that you do for the goodness and mercy you've shown us as your children we thank you for being so merciful and Kind you are a God who is so good you're so caring your word tells us that you have numbered the hairs on our heads because of your great love for us great is your mercy Great Is Your Love Psalm 56:3 says when I am afraid I put my trust in you

and God whose word I Praise In God I trust I shall not be afraid what can flesh do to me Psalm 31: 24 be strong and Let Your Heart Take courage all you who wait for the Lord be Strong Saints and stand in faith my need for you is great Lord Jesus my need for you is clear I need you more than I need silver and gold or the riches of this world I need you Jesus more than I need a new car a new house or more money Lord I cannot save myself I cannot

heal or redeem myself I need you Lord Lord I need you because I can't give myself eternal life nor can I Overcome sin on my own it's you that I need Master Lord I have realized that in this life it is impossible to win it's impossible to overcome or have Victory by myself father there are strongholds that I cannot break there are problems that I can't overcome on my own Jesus I Need You I need the Good Shepherd I need one who can speak peace and Stillness into the Storms of life Lord I need you

to stand by me calm my emotions let my heart not be troubled father there are giants that I'm facing giant oppositions which follow my family bloodline and Lord I can't fight them with My Own Strength I need need divine intervention I need Supernatural strength to overcome so I pray father Hear My Cry as I ask that you stand by me God be with Me always because if I try and do things on my own if I try and live life with My Own Strength it simply won't work without your grace everything is out of my

reach father my prayer is that you would always be with me be with me as I face the storms of life be with me as I walk through the valley of the shadow of death Stand By Me in the fiery furnace Stand By Me When I can't see a way out when the enemy comes at me like a flood Raise up a standard Lord I pray that you would not allow the challenges that I face to overwhelm me Lord Jesus when problems appear to be daunting give me Divine strength father your word says in John

24: 18 through 20 I will not leave you as orphans I will come to you yet a little while and the world will see me no more but you will see me because I live live you also will live in that day you will know that I am in my father and You in me and I in you I thank you Lord for such a promise you have promised never to leave us alone when the odds are against us we will not fear for you are with us whether I am in the Lion's Den or

in the eye of a storm I trust and believe that you will always be faithful and Stand By Me Blessed Be Your Name King Jesus amen there was a man named Smith Wigglesworth from England who was mightily used by God a man of great faith and he would always say I'm a thousand times bigger on the inside than on the outside he knew the value of strengthening your inner person now let us pray dear Lord Jesus help us to grow help us to grow in boldness and courage help us to grow in knowledge and understanding

when it comes to the Things of God open our eyes so that we can see that we can never rely on our our own willpower because we will fail we cannot rely on our own motivation because we will fail but when we stand on your word Lord Jesus we will never fail we will never be defeated and so Lord our attitude today is to say less of me Lord and more of you father we receive your word that Says in Ephesians 1 19- 21 I also pray that you will understand the incredible greatness of God's

power for us who believe in him this is the same Mighty power that raised Christ from the dead and seated him in the place of honor at God's right hand in the Heavenly Realms now he is far above any ruler or authority or power or leader or anything else not only in this world but also in the world to come in you Lord we are able to overcome Every struggle whatever oppresses us we give it to you whatever tries to Blind us and pull us backwards God we give it to you to handle dear Lord

we desire to live a life that is pure and pleasing to you we desire to live a life whereby we aren't cycling in and out of sin cleanse us master I pray that the blood of Jesus Christ that precious blood that was shed On the cross at calary for us we pray that it would cleanse us from sin you are a God who is generous in love you are great in compassion father hear our cry today we want to be a people who live lives that please you lives that honor you and obey your word

and to do this we need to be empowered by the holy spirit so that we can resist temptation we hold on to your word in Psalm 103 11-13 which says for as high as the heavens are above the Earth so great is his love for those who fear Him as far as the East is from the West so far has he removed our transgressions from us as a father has compassion on his children so the Lord has compassion on those who fear Him Empower us to have victory over sin Lord we are not slaves to

unrighteousness but to righteousness Empower us to overcome Daily this struggle of sin make us clean vessels ready to serve your kingdom mighty God we bless your precious name for you are worthy to be praised King Jesus thank you for listening to this prayer amen Lord Jesus we give you praise and we thank you for the perfect work that you accomplished on the cross Lord you hung on that cross for our sins you were blameless yet our sins were nailed on That cross with you Lord Jesus how could we ever thank you enough words fail me

there are no words to thank you King Jesus for that price that you paid on the cross for [Music] me the Bible says in Isaiah 53: 3-5 he was despised and rejected by mankind a man of suffering and familiar With pain like one from whom people hide their faces he was despised and we held him in low esteem surely he took up our pain and bore our suffering yet we considered him punished by God stricken by him and Afflicted but he was pierced for our transgressions he was crushed for our iniquities the punishment that brought

us peace was on him and by his wounds we are Healed Lord Jesus in agreement with everyone listening We Praise You Lord we adore you and we worship you because you Lord were the one who was hurt you were the one who suffered because of our sins you were wounded for our wrongdoing Jesus you endured incredible pain for us and the blood that you shed was for our healing that blood that you shed is for our healing right now Lord I Thank you for the Blood I thank you for the blood that you sh shed

King Jesus so that we could be protected so that our families could be protected so that our children and loved ones can be protected Lord Jesus I thank you for the blood that covers Us the precious blood that Shields Us from Evil the Bible says in 1 Corinthians 15 veres 3-4 for I deliver to you as of first importance what I o received that Christ Died for our sins in accordance with the scriptures that he was buried that he was raised on the third day in accordance with the scriptures Lord Jesus we Rejoice because you

have risen from the dead Our Savior has defeated death and we serve a living God we Rejoice that you are all powerful we Rejoice that you are a God who can resurrect and restore Lord Jesus we give you all the glory all the praise and all the honor I Call on your name King Jesus to be our rescue be our Banner of Hope Lord you are the reason why we are more than conquerors you Lord Jesus are the reason why no weapon that is formed against us will prosper you Lord are the reason why we

cannot be intimidated by the devil in the name of Jesus we refuse to be oppressed suppressed or depressed by the enemy we believe and declare Psalm 20: 7 It says some trust in chariots and some in horses but we trust in the name of the Lord Our God some find their strength in their weapons but we we will trust in you King Jesus some some will trust in science some will trust in their own wisdom but oh we will only trust in you Lord Jesus we will boast in your strength and in your might alone

your name is above every other name and Lord right now we thank you for Hearing this prayer for we speak it in your name and we bless your name yes it's in the mighty and matchless name of Jesus that we pray and we give thanks [Music] amen Matthew 14:31 says immediately Jesus reached out his hand and caught him you of little faith he said why did you doubt oh you of little faith why did you doubt that's The question Jesus asked Peter as the Lord pulled his disciple up from the water at the Lord's invitation

Peter had walked on water to come to Jesus but before he made it to Jesus the howling wind and the storm tossed waves caused Peter to fear as the fear set in he began to sink by the Lord's power Peter had done the impossible he had walked on water but doubt and fear caused Peter to lose focus on Jesus and threatened his Life perhaps Jesus's question seems a bit harsh surely we can sympathize with Peter who wouldn't have a bit of Doubt while walking on a stormy sea and yet the Lord's desire was for Peter's

Faith to triumph over doubt you see doubt is a dangerous weapon in Satan's Arsenal and it is one that Christians must strive to overcome if you've ever struggled with doubt then I need you to realize that you are not alone there are many good people who have Consider Sarah the wife of Abraham few individuals stand as examples of Faith like Abraham and Sarah but even Sarah wrestled with doubt in Genesis 18 God informed Abraham that he and Sarah would have a son while that should be exciting news it seemed impossible because the couple was advanced

in years they were too old to have children Sarah overheard this announcement and the Bible records so Sarah laughed to herself saying after I Am worn out and my Lord is old shall I have pleasure that may not seem like a big deal but the word laugh can mean to laugh and justest or to laugh and Scorn it seems the latter is what Sarah did she laughed because she doubted the Lord's promise Sarah tried to deny it but God's question was direct is anything too hard for the Lord this demonstrates one of the primary problems

with doubt doubt reveals that we don't fully trust God when we doubt it's as Though we're saying I don't believe God can do this maybe we doubt our sins can be forgiven perhaps we doubt the gospel can change someone in our lives essentially doubt is nothing short of thinking less of God and his power now that's a dangerous mindset indeed and then of course we have doubting Thomas for whatever reason Thomas was not with the other disciples in the upper room on the day of Jesus's Resurrection he wasn't there to see the Lord with his

own eyes and when the others reported to Thomas that Jesus had risen he didn't believe them he famously said unless I see in his hands the mark of the nails and place my finger into the mark of the nails and place my hand into his side I will never believe Thomas's doubt robbed him of much joy at least for a time it was another 8 days before Jesus appeared to the disciples again this time Thomas was present and His doubts they were blown away but think about this for a little more than a week the

other disciples lived with the joy of knowing Jesus their teacher their friend their Messiah he was alive if Thomas had remembered the Lord's words and believed the other disciples testimony he could have shared in their joy and hope instead Thomas spent that week in the pit of despair and depression because doubt is a robber of joy and doubt can have dire Consequences Sarah's doubt was overcome and she witnessed God's power when she later conf deceived and bore a son just as God had promised Thomas's doubt was defeated by seeing the Risen Lord but others in

the Bible were not so fortunate for their doubt condemned them in Luke's gospel he records that one of the two thieves crucified with Jesus was saved one Thief stopped reviling Jesus defended the Lord and asked Jesus to remember him when he entered his kingdom That's a lot of faith for dying man but what about the other Thief it would seem he didn't have the same change of heart he mocked Jesus and never placed his faith in the Lord why it was probably because of doubt he likely doubted that a crucified man a dying man had

any power to save he doubted Jesus was the Messiah he doubted Jesus was the son of God and that doubt was his ultimate downfall again doubt has consequences even in daily life we understand this Truth when a detective doubts a witness's testimony or a suspect's alibi that will significantly affect his investigation when a jury doubts a defendant's claims it may have life-altering consequences when a husband or wife doubts the Loyalty of their spouse it can ruin their marriage doubt and suspicion will change how they think and how they treat one another doubt can become a

poison it can be a poison that Destroys an otherwise loving relationship yes doubt certainly has consequences and this is especially true spiritually when the Christian Harbors doubts the consequences can be devastating James warns against this great danger James 1: 5-8 says if you need Wisdom ask our generous God and he will give it to you he will not rebuke you for asking but when you ask him be sure that your faith is in God alone do not waver for a person with divided Loyalty is as unsettled as a wave of the sea that is blown

and tossed by the wind such people should not expect to receive anything from the Lord their loyalty is divided between God and the world and they are unstable in everything they do you see dear listener the problem with doubt is that it is the opposite of faith faith is what helps us stand firm doubt will toss us around like a ship on a stormy sea with no aner faith it gives us stability and strength but Doubt doubt makes us unstable and unable to Faithfully serve God when we are ruled by doubt instead of Faith even

our prayers are hindered according to James yes doubt is a grave danger with terrible consequences doubt turns our eyes away from Jesus causes us to question God robs us of joy and even hinders our prayers worst of all if we persist in doubt it can even Rob us of Eternal salvation but I need you to realize you Do not have to succumb to doubt even if doubts have plagued the past you can overcome them how the same way Peter did turn to Jesus and seek his help don't let the winds and waves cause doubt keep

your eyes firmly fixed on Jesus and his word place your trust in him and follow him Faithfully all the days of your life now with this understand understanding that we cannot please God without faith that faith is an essential part of our Christian lives let us go Before the Throne of God and ask him to help us be emboldened to walk in faith and to act in faith every single day of Our Lives Lord Jesus be praised be glorified and honored Lord we desire to grow in faith we desire desire to grow in understanding father

we want to grow in wisdom Matthew 7: 24-27 says therefore whoever hears these sayings of mine and does them I will liken him to a wise man Who built his house on the rock and the rain descended the floods came and the winds blew and beat on that house and it did not fall for it was founded on the rock but everyone who hears these sayings of mine and does not do them will be like a foolish man who built his house on the sand and the rain descended the floods came and the winds blew

and beat on that house and it fell and great was its fall Lord Jesus we will build our lives On your words because our house will not fall when it's built on you master god you're the Rock of Ages and so when The Rains of Life come when the floods of Life come when the winds blow and beat on us we will not fall because you Lord are our anchor our Chief Cornerstone and the solid rock on which we stand father forgive us for the times that we have doubted you Lord I pray that you

would displace any doubt and Fill our hearts with faith I'm I ask that the Holy Spirit would Empower us and strengthen us when we feel weak Holy Ghost remind us that God's word in 2 Corinthians 12: 9 and 10 says and he said to me my grace is sufficient for you for my strength is made perfect in weakness therefore most gladly I will rather boast in my infirmities that the power of Christ May rest upon me therefore I take pleasure in infirmities in reproaches in needs in Persecutions and distresses for Christ's sake for when I

am weak then I am strong we believe your word Lord Jesus whenever we're weak you are the source of our strength whenever we feel powerless we're strong in you Lord I Praise You Lord because your grace is sufficient to meet our every Need Your Loving kindness it's enough to fill every void in our lives and I praise you God because your mercy is more than enough your mercy is Always available and never ending it covers a multitude of sins for this Lord we are ever grateful and I pray for anyone struggling with fear in their

lives anyone who may be restless with doubt May the Holy Ghost move into their lives and remove every spirit that stands against the word of God May the Holy Spirit sweep away every negative thought or voice that stands against the word of God I pray that the Holy Spirit would Keep us anchored in the word of God keep us rooted in scripture father cast out all our worries all our fears and every doubt in Joshua 1:9 the word of God says have I not commanded you be strong and courageous do not be afraid do not

be discouraged for the Lord your God will be with you wherever you go as your children father we will not fear because you are with us you are the god of Abraham Isaac and Jacob a god who Has never lost a battle and so father we are only strong and courageous because you are on our side Lord help us not to be overwhelmed by the trials of this life father be glorified and be praised forever more it's in jesus' name I pray amen if you need Wisdom ask our generous God and he will give it

to you he will not rebuke you for asking but when you ask him be sure that your faith is in God alone do not waver for a person with divided loyalty is as unsettled as a wave of the sea that is blown and tossed by the wind such people should not expect to receive anything from the Lord their loyalty is divided between God and the world and they are unstable in everything they do what do you do when you're sitting across from the doctor and the report isn't good what do you do when you look

at Your bank statement you look at your bills and the numbers just don't add up what do you do when life hits you with the unexpected when life hits you hard and catches you on your Blind Side if there's one thing that you should know and expect is that the reality of Life can sometimes be Earth shattering and harsh and perhaps you may not be able to turn your situation around Immediately but I pray that my words today will plant seeds of faith in your spirit don't be discouraged by what you see don't be discouraged

by what you hear your life is in God's hands and that's something you should actually tell yourself every once in a while my life is in God's hands your health may not be where you want it to be but I encourage you to do all that you can and ask God to meet you halfway your dream may seem like it's no Longer possible but I encourage you to continue pursuing God whether or not you become a doctor whether or not you become an attorney pilot don't remove God from his throne in your life all because

you're disappointed God Is Bigger Than That which comes against you and if the fight intensifies your own thoughts become Negative they start telling you that this situation is permanent this result is Permanent don't be discouraged even though it looks hopeless the word of God says joy comes in the morning to everything there is a season so this too shall pass don't be moved by what you see in the natural eye but rely on the word of God that you know know the word that says God is good a stronghold in the day of trouble focus

on that instead of what's disappointed You the word that says you are my Hiding Place and my shield it says I will look to the Lord I will wait for the god of my salvation my God will hear me your life is in God's hands your future is in God's hands if life hits you and you fall wouldn't it be better to fall into the Loving Arms of Jesus Christ than anywhere else so don't be defined by a diagnosis don't be defined by the Numbers in your bank account I've had to talk to myself and

remind myself that I have a Creator who has a plan and God's plan will still Prevail God's will will still be done he has ordered my steps and so I am not alone my beginning and my end is known by him my highs and your lows are known by him and I will walk by faith and not by Sight believing that the Lord has numbered my good days to exceed my bad days so get to the point where you are content and at peace to say Lord my life is in your hands you have said

be anxious for nothing you have said that you know the number of hairs on my head and so I Surrender and yield to your will father your word in Psalm 18 verse 1-6 says I love you Lord my strength the Lord is my rock my Fortress and my deliverer my God Is My Rock in whom I take refuge my shield and the Horn of my salvation my stronghold I called to the Lord who is worthy of praise and I have been saved from my enemies the cords of death entangled me the torments of Destruction overwhelmed

me the cords of the Grave coiled around me the snares of death confronted me in my distress I called to the Lord I cried To my God for help from his Temple he heard my voice My Cry came before him into his ears emotions are and can be very powerful I've seen people so happy that their faces were covered in tears tears of joy I've seen people so distraught and filled with sorrow that they couldn't string to together two words I've seen others be so inspired and motivated that they could work day And night tirelessly

to accomplish something or to achieve something I read a powerful quote on something Billy Graham said many years ago he said that 75% of patients in hospitals would be made whole if they would only forgive think about that some people hold on to certain emotions certain negative emotions for so long and eventually those emotions manifest themselves in Sickness Proverbs 14:30 says a heart at peace gives life to the body but Envy rots the bones Envy is a feeling of jealousy it's resentment and the Bible tells us that envy and an internal emotion rots the bones

meaning it has a physical external result Hebrews 12: 14- 15 says pursue peace with all people and Holiness without which no one will see the Lord looking carefully lest anyone fall short of the grace of God lest any root of Bitterness springing up cause trouble and by this many become defiled notice that this verse doesn't even warn us to be cautious of bitterness itself it warns us to be cautious of the root the root of bitterness now the root of a plant is not visible to the naked eye we may only be aware that a

seed was planted when we see the fruit so when the Bible says see to it that no root of bitter Springs up it's because this emotion of bitterness is so destructive that it needs to be uprooted as soon as the seed germinated the Bible is telling us not to even wait until you see the fruit of bitterness cut it off at the root and so dear listener I aware that in this life all of us will experience unpleasant emotions at one point or another we will experience the pain of betrayal we'll experience heartache and loss

we might even suffer maltreatment and Injustice but my message to you is that you should learn to forgive learn to Let Go Don't hold on to everything negative pray for the Lord to heal your wounds pray for the Lord to mend your broken heart pray that you would be someone who doesn't repay evil with evil but instead have the love of Christ and repay evil with good I encourage you to pray for God to give you the capacity to be able to forgive and move on don't live a life Where you're imprisoned by toxic emotions

no Jesus Christ offers you peace Joy Victory despite what people do to you in Jesus you can have freedom you can have life and have it more abundantly now let us pray dear Lord I pray that your grace would be over us someone listening has been betrayed and I pray that you would heal them Lord and let them know that you will never abandon them you will never turn your back on Them someone listening has been the recipient of hurtful words someone has had evil words spoken against them spoken about them and Lord I ask

that your healing hand would mend every heart and every ear that has been on the receiving end of hurtful or cruel words help us to forgive let there be no bitterness in our hearts Let There Be No Malice in our hearts let there be no jealousy or hate in our hearts instead Lord Jesus heal our wounds heal every Wound inflicted by our enemies every wound inflicted by our friends or even loved ones make us whole and fill our hearts with love teach us to love help us to live by Your Word which tells us to

love our neighbors give us the grace Lord Jesus to live and to love according to 1 Corinthians 13: 4-8 which says love suffers long and is kind love does not envy love does not parade itself is not puffed up does not Behave rudely does not seek its own is not provoked thinks no evil does not rejoice in inequity but rejoices in the truth Bears all things believes all things hopes all things endures all things Love Never Fails but whether there are prophecies they will fail whether there are tongues they will cease whether there is knowledge

it will vanish away give us this type of love in our hearts Jesus so that when others do evil To us we can respond and repay them with love when others speak negatively about us and to us give us great Grace so that we may be able to love them regardless of what they say against us I pray for everyone listening Lord Jesus would you please heal every wound of portrayal for the person who feels rejected and unwanted I pray that you would heal every wound inflicted by the actions of others heal every ear that

Has heard cruel words spoken against them to those who feel low Lord Jesus I pray that you would lift up their Spirit to those who are sad and have a heavy heart remove their burdens Lord Jesus father uproot every root of bitterness and resentment in our hearts uproot every memory linked to negative and toxic emotions in our hearts help us to let go give us the strength to practice forgiveness give give us the grace to practice real love in our lives Your word in Romans 12:9 to2 says love must be sincere hate what is evil

cling to what is good be devoted to one another in love honor one another above yourselves never be lacking in Zeal but keep your spiritual fervor serving the lord be joyful in Hope patient in Affliction faithful in prayer help us to do this Lord help us to love sincerely help us to cling to what is good and to hate what is evil help us to be devoted to each other in Love I thank you for listening to this prayer may the blood of Jesus Christ cover us amen I was recently watching a documentary about Hospital

emergencies in New York City and this particular documentary takes you behind the scenes so that you can see how surgeons doctors nurses how they all respond to Medical emergencies and in one episode one of the surgeons who had been operating on other people he actually got into a Skiing accident himself and he needed the help of the people who he worked with now this got me to thinking this surgeon was always on the other side he was always on the other side of the emergency room he was always on the other side of the operating

table because he was the one operating he was the expert telling the patient that everything will be okay he was always the one giving the News never the one waiting to receive the news and that made me think what happens when it's you what happens when you're the one who now needs to be encouraged but you're so used to encouraging others what happens when you now need others to pray for you but for so long you've been the one to pray for others so often as Christians we encourage each other we tell each other to

have faith we tell each other to Believe that God will turn it around for you how many people in our lives have we prayed for have we encouraged we've told them that their Miracle is on its way their healing is on its way you know you know how we do but at one point in our lives we will be the ones praying for a miracle in our own lives at some point in our lives we'll be the person on the other side we'll be the patient we'll be the One in need of encouragement judement so

knowing this what do you do well I'd like for you to pay attention to the words of Jesus in Matthew 7: 24- 27 the Bible reads anyone who listens to my teaching and follows it is wise like a person who builds a house on Solid Rock though the rain comes in torrents and the flood waters rise and the winds beat against that house it won't collapse because it Is built on Bedrock but anyone who hears my teaching and doesn't obey it is foolish like a person who builds a house on Sand when the rains and

floods come and the winds beat against that house it will collapse with a mighty crash the way that we prepare to face the challenges of life is by building our house on the solid rock and that rock is Jesus Christ you see this means that when The Rains of Life pour down when the river floods or or a tornado hits nothing can move your house nothing can move you because you're standing on the solid rock called Jesus Christ so while things are well with you continue to build your house on Jesus continue to stand on

the Solid Rock of Ages and so as we prepare to go to the Lord in prayer I just encourage you to remember that one day you will be on the other side one thing is certain life will present it storms but there's one thing that is even more certain if you are rooted in Christ if you are built on that Solid Rock you can withstand so let's pray and ask God to help us build on Him Lord Jesus when life challenges us stand with us Lord when life is difficult God give us strength to stand

firm in faith stand by us when life presents us with hardship Lord I pray that you would defend us when we are under attack from the enemy remind us that your love is forever with us remind us that your word in Psalm 23:6 says surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life And I will dwell in the house of the Lord forever when we encounter troubling times in life Lord help us to remember that the Bible says in Deuteronomy 3 1: 6 be strong and courageous do not be afraid or

terrified because of them for the Lord your God goes with you he will never leave you nor forsake you Lord Jesus we're looking to you today Father we look to you for strength For direction for protection for preservation we look to you for provision Mercy mercy and peace dear Lord we're limited I've looked Within Myself for strength but I have come to find that I am not strong enough I've looked Within Myself for Direction but now I know that I am not wise enough oh I've tried to look Within Myself for motivation and happiness but

Lord I have come to find That true Joy can only be found when we look to you our true purpose can only be found in you your word in Psalm 119 veres 36-38 says incline my heart to your testimonies and not to dishonest gain and envy turn my eyes away from vanity all those worldly meaningless things that distract let your priorities be mine and Restore me with Renewed Energy in your ways establish your word and confirm your promise to your servant as that which produces all inspired reverence for you Lord turn our eyes away from

worldly things turn our eyes away from worthless things God and help us to have Minds fixed on Christ and eyes fixed on Jesus because when we look to you when we focus on you master you'll turn Our lives around and you'll demonstrate that you can take us from the lowest of the low and use us For Your Glory help us Master to keep our eyes fixed on Jesus because if we stray and wander we will begin to look at what's around us instead of Jesus Christ this leads us to to distractions and that leads us

to become preoccupied with things with situations with events that don't even Matter we'll become focused on the things that are of this world instead of the things that are Eternal Father we're limited whereas you are Limitless we cannot look ahead into the future with our natural eyes so we look to the one who holds the past the present and the future I thank you Lord Jesus for all that you do for the goodness and mercy you've shown us as your Children we thank you for being so merciful and kind you are a God who is

so good you're so caring your word tells us that you have numbered the hairs on our heads because of your great love for us great is your mercy Great Is Your Love Psalm 5 56:3 says when I am afraid I put my trust in you in God whose word I Praise In God I trust I shall not be afraid what can flesh do to me Psalm 31: 24 be strong and Let Your Heart Take Courage all you who wait for the Lord be strong Saints and stand in faith my need for you is great Lord

Jesus my need for you is clear I need you more than I need silver and gold or the riches of this world I need you Jesus more than I need a new car a new house or more money Lord I cannot save myself I cannot heal or redeem myself I need you Lord Lord I Need you because I can't Give myself eternal life nor can I overcome sin on my own it's you that I need Master Lord I have realized that in this life it is impossible to win it's impossible to overcome or have Victory

by myself father there are strongholds that I cannot break there are problems that I can't overcome on my own Jesus I Need You I need the Good Shepherd I need one who can speak peace and Stillness into The storms of life Lord I need you to stand by me calm my emotions let my heart not be troubled father there are giants that I'm facing giant opposition which follow my family bloodline and Lord I can't fight them with My Own Strength I need divine intervention I need Supernatural strength to overcome so I pray father Hear My

Cry as I ask that you stand by me God be with me always because if I try and do things on my own if I try and live life with My Own Strength it simply won't work without your grace everything is out of my reach father my prayer is that you would always be with me be with me as I face the storms of life be with me as I walk through the valley of the shadow of death Stand By Me in the fiery furnace Stand By Me When I can't see a way out When

the enemy comes at me like a flood raise up a standard Lord I pray that you would not allow the challenges that I face to overwhelm me Lord Jesus when problems appear to be daunting give me Divine strength father your word says in John 24: 18-20 I will not leave you as orphans I will come to you yet a little while and the world will see me no more but you will see me because I live you also will Live in that day you will know that I am in my father and you in me

and I in you I thank you Lord for such a promise you have promised never to leave us alone when the odds are against us we will not fear for you are with us whether I am in the Lion's Den or in the eye of a storm I trust and believe that you will always be faithful and Stand By Me Blessed Be Your Name King Jesus Amen there was a man named Smith Wigglesworth from England who was mightily used by God a man of great faith and he would always say I'm a thousand times bigger

on the inside than on the outside he knew the value of strengthening your inner person now let us pray dear Lord Jesus help us to grow help us to grow in boldness and courage help us to grow in knowledge and Understanding when it comes to the things of God open our eyes so that we can see that we can never rely on our own willpower because we will fail we cannot rely on our own motivation because we will fail but when we stand on your word Lord Jesus we will never fail we will never be

defeated and so Lord our attitude today is to say less of me Lord and more of You father we receive your word that says in Ephesians 1 19- 21 I also pray that you will understand the incredible greatness of God's power for us who believe in him this is the same Mighty power that raised Christ from the dead and seated him in the place of honor at God's right hand in the Heavenly Realms now he is far above any ruler or authority or power or leader or anything else not only in this world but also

in the world to Come in you Lord we are able to overcome every struggle whatever oppresses us we give it to you whatever tries to Blind us and pull us backwards God we give it to you to handle dear Lord we desire to live a life that is pure and pleasing to you we desire to live a life whereby we aren't cycling in and out of sin cleanse us master I pray that the blood of Jesus Christ that precious blood that was shed on the cross at Calvary for us we pray that it would cleanse

us from sin you are a God who is generous in love you are great in compassion father hear our cry today we want to be a people who live lives that please you lives that honor you and obey your word and to do this we need to be empowered by the holy spirit so that we we can resist temptation we hold on to your word in Psalm 103 11-13 which says for as high as the heavens are above the Earth so great is his love for those who fear Him as far as the East is

from the West so far has he removed our transgressions from us as a father has compass compion on his children so the Lord has compassion on those who fear Him Empower us to have victory over sin Lord we are not slaves to unrighteousness but to righteousness Empower us to overcome Daily this struggle of sin make us clean vessels ready to serve your kingdom mighty God we bless your precious name for you are worthy to be praised King Jesus thank you for listening to this prayer amen Lord Jesus we give you praise and we thank you

for the perfect work that you accomplished on the cross Lord you hung on that cross for our sins you were blameless yet our sins were nailed on That cross with you Lord Jesus how could we ever thank you enough words fail me there are no words to thank you King Jesus for that price that you paid on the cross for me the Bible says in Isaiah 53: 3-5 he was despised and rejected by mankind a man of suffering and familiar with pain like one from whom people hide their faces he was dis despised and we

Held him in low esteem surely he took up our pain and bore our suffering yet we considered him punished by God stricken by him and Afflicted but he was pierced for our transgressions he was crushed for our iniquities the punishment that brought us peace was on him and by his wounds we are healed Lord Jesus in agreement with everyone listening We Praise You Lord we adore you and we worship you because you Lord were the one who was hurt you were the one who suffered because of our sins you were wounded for our wrongdoing Jesus

you endured incredible pain for us and the blood that you shed was for our healing that blood that you shed is for our healing right now Lord I Thank you for the blood I thank you for the blood that you shed King Jesus so that we could be protected so that our families could be Protected so that our children and loved ones can be protected Lord Jesus I thank you for the blood that covers Us the precious blood that Shields Us from Evil the Bible says in 1 Corinthians 15 veres 3-4 for I delivered to

you as of first importance what I also received that Christ died for our sins in accordance with the scriptures that he was buried that he was raised on the third day in Accordance with the scriptures Lord Jesus we Rejoice because you have risen from the dead Our Savior has defeated death and we serve a living God we Rejoice that you are all powerful we Rejoice that you are a God who can resurrect and restore Lord Jesus we give you all the glory all the praise and all the honor I call on your name King Jesus

to be our rescue be our Banner of Hope Lord you are the reason why we are More than conquerors you Lord Jesus are the reason why no weapon that is formed against us will prosper you Lord are the reason why we cannot be intimidated by the devil in the name of Jesus we refuse to be oppressed suppressed or depressed by the enemy we believe and declare Psalm 20: 7 it says some trust in chariots and some in horses but we trust in the name of the Lord Our God some find their strengthen their weapons but

we we will trust in you King Jesus some will trust in science some will trust in their own wisdom but oh we will only trust in you Lord Jesus we will boast in your strength and in your might alone your name is above every other name and Lord right now we thank you for hearing this prayer for we speak it in your name and we bless your name yes it's in the mighty and Matchless name of Jesus that we pray and we give thanks amen Matthew 14:31 says immediately Jesus reached out his hand and caught

him you of little faith he said why did you doubt oh you of little faith why did you doubt that's the question Jesus asked Peter as the Lord pulled his disciple up from the water at the Lord's invitation Peter had walked on water to come to Jesus but Before he made it to Jesus the howling wind and the storm tossed waves caused Peter to fear as the fear set in he began to sink by the Lord's power Peter had done the impossible he had walked on water but doubt and fear here caused Peter to lose

focus on Jesus and threatened his life perhaps Jesus's question seems a bit harsh surely we can sympathize with Peter who wouldn't have a bit of Doubt while walking on a stormy sea and yet the Lord's desire was for Peter's Faith to triumph over doubt you see doubt is a dangerous weapon in Satan's Arsenal and it is one that Christians must strive to overcome if you've ever struggled with doubt then I need you to realize that you are not alone there are many good people who have consider Sarah the wife of Abraham few individuals stand as

examples of Faith like Abraham and Sarah but even Sarah wrestled with doubt in Genesis 18 God informed Abraham that he and Sarah Would have a son while that should be exciting news it seemed impossible because the couple was advanced in years they were too old to have children Sarah overheard this announcement and the Bible records so Sarah laughed to herself saying after I am worn out and my Lord is old shall I have pleasure that may not seem like a big deal but the word laugh can mean to laugh in justest or to laugh in

scorn it seems the latter is what Sarah Did she laughed because she doubted the Lord's promise Sarah tried to deny it but God's question was direct is anything too hard for the Lord this demonstrates one of the primary problems with doubt doubt reveals that we don't fully trust God when we doubt it's as though we're saying I don't believe God can do this maybe we doubt our sins can be forgiven perhaps we doubt the gospel can change someone in our lives essentially doubt is nothing short of Thinking less of God and his power now that's

a dangerous mindset indeed and then of course we have doubting Thomas for whatever reason Thomas was not with the other disciples in the upper room on the day of Jesus's resurrection he wasn't there to see the Lord with his own eyes and when the others reported to Thomas that Jesus had risen he didn't believe them he famously said said unless I see in his hands the mark of the nails and place my finger Into the mark of the nails and place my hand into his side I will never believe Thomas's doubt robbed him of much

joy at least for a time it was another 8 days before Jesus appeared to the disciples again this time Thomas was present and his doubts they were blown away but think about this for a little more than a week the other disciples lived with the joy of knowing Jesus their teacher their friend their Messiah he was alive if Thomas had Remembered the Lord's words and believed the other disciples testimony he could have shared in their joy and hope instead Thomas spent that week in the pit of despair and depression because doubt is a robber of

joy and doubt can have dire consequences Sarah's doubt was overcome and she witnessed God's power when she later conceived and bore a son just as God had promised Thomas's doubt was defeated by seeing the Risen Lord but others in the Bible were not so fortunate for their doubt condemned them in Luke's gospel he records that one of the two thieves crucified with Jesus was saved one Thief stopped reviling Jesus defended the Lord and asked Jesus to remember him when he entered his kingdom that's a lot of faith for a dying man but what about the

other Thief it would seem he didn't have the same change of heart he mocked Jesus and never placed his faith in the Lord why it was probably because of doubt he Likely doubted that a crucified man a dying man had any power to save he doubted Jesus was the m Messiah he doubted Jesus was the son of God and that doubt was his ultimate downfall again doubt has consequences even in daily life we understand this truth when a detective doubts a witness's testimony or a suspect's alibi that will significantly affect his investigation when a jury

doubts a defendant's claims it may have Life-altering consequences when a husband or wife doubts the Loyalty of their spouse it can ruin their marriage doubt and suspicion will change how they think and how they treat one another doubt can become a poison it can be a poison that destroys an otherwise loving relationship yes doubt certainly has consequences and this is especially true spiritually when the Christian Harbors doubts the consequences can be Devastating dating James warns against this great danger James 1: 5-8 says if you need Wisdom ask our generous God and he will give it

to you he will not rebuke you for asking but when you ask him be sure that your faith is in God alone do not waver for a person with divided loyalty is as unsettled as a wave of the sea that is blown and tossed by the wind such people should not expect to receive anything from the Lord their loyalty is divided between God and The world and they are unstable in everything they do you see dear listener the problem with doubt is that it is the opposite of faith faith is what helps us stand firm

doubt will toss us around like a ship on a stormy sea with no anchor faith it gives us stability and strength but doubt doubt makes us unstable and unable to Faithfully serve God when we are ruled by doubt instead of Faith even our prayers are hindered according to James yes doubt is a grave danger with terrible consequences doubt turns our eyes away from Jesus causes us to question God robs us of joy and even hinders our prayers worst of all if we persist in doubt it can even Rob us of Eternal salvation but I need

you to realize you do not have to succumb to doubt even if doubts have plagued the past you can overcome them how the same way Peter did turn to Jesus and seek his help don't Let the winds and waves cause doubt keep your eyes firmly fixed on Jesus and his word place your trust in him and follow him Faithfully all the days of your life now with this understanding that we cannot please God without faith that faith is an essential part of our Christian lives let us go Before the Throne of God and ask him

to help us be emboldened to walk in faith and to act in faith every single day of Our Lives Lord Jesus be Praised be glorified IED and honored Lord we desire to grow in faith we desire to grow in understanding father we want to grow in wisdom Matthew 7: 24-27 says therefore whoever hears these sayings of mine and does them I will liken him to a wise man who built his house on the rock and the rain descended the floods came and the winds blew and beat on that house and it did not fall for

it was founded on the Rock but everyone who hears these say of Mine and does not do them will be like a foolish man who built his house on the sand and the rain descended the floods came and the winds blew and beat on that house and it fell and great was its fall Lord Jesus we will build our lives on your words because our house will not fall when it's built on you master god you're the Rock of Ages and so when The Rains of Life come when the floods of Life come when the

winds blow And beat on us we will not fall because you Lord are our anchor our Chief Cornerstone and the solid rock on which we stand father forgive us for the times that we have doubted you Lord I pray that you would displace any doubt and fill our hearts with faith I ask that the Holy Spirit would Empower us and strengthen us when we feel weak Holy Ghost remind us that God's word in 2 Corinthians 12: 9 and 10 says and he Said to me my grace is sufficient for you for my strength is made

perfect in weakness therefore most gladly I will rather boast in my infirmities that the power of Christ May rest upon me therefore I take pleasure in infirmities in reproaches in needs in persecutions in distresses for Christ's sake for when I am weak then I am strong we believe your word Lord Jesus whenever we're weak you are the source of our Strength whenever we feel powerless we're strong in you Lord I Praise You Lord because your grace is sufficient to meet our every Need Your Loving kindness it's enough to fill every void in our lives and

I praise you God because your mercy is more than enough your mercy is always available and never ending it covers a multitude of sins for this Lord we are ever grateful and I pray for anyone struggling with fear in their lives anyone who may be Wrestling with doubt May the Holy Ghost move into their lives and remove every spirit that stands against the word of God May the Holy Spirit sweep away every negative thought or voice that stands against the word of God I pray that the Holy Spirit would keep us anchored in the word

of God keep us rooted in in scripture father cast out all our worries all our fears and every doubt in Joshua 1:9 the word of God says Have I not commanded you be strong and courageous do not be afraid do not be discouraged for the Lord your God will be with you wherever you go as your children father we will not fear because you are with them you are the god of Abraham Isaac and Jacob a God who has never lost a battle and so father we are only strong and courageous because you are on

our side Lord help us not to be overwhelmed by the trials of this Life father be glorified and be praised forever more it's in Jesus name I pray amen if you need Wisdom ask our generous God and he will give it to you he will not rebuke you for asking but when you ask him be sure that your faith is in God alone do not waver for a person with divided loyalty is as unsettled as a wave of the sea that is blown and tossed by the wind such people should not expect to receive anything

from the Lord Their loyalty is divided between God in the world and they are unstable in everything they [Music] do what do you do when you're sitting across from the doctor and the report isn't good what do you do when you look at your bank statement you look at your bills and the numbers just don't add up what do you do when life hits you with the Unexpected when life hits you hard and catches you on your Blind Side if there's one thing that you should know and expect fact it's that the reality of Life

can sometimes be Earth shattering and harsh and perhaps you may not be able to turn your situation around immediately but I pray that my words today will plant seeds of faith in your spirit don't be discouraged by what you see don't be discouraged by what you Hear your life is in God's hands and that's something you should actually tell yourself every once in a while my life is in God's hands your health may not be where you want it to be but I encourage you to do all that you can and ask God to meet

you halfway your dream may seem like it's no longer possible but I encourage you to continue pursuing God whether or not you become a doctor whether or not you become an attorney or Pilot don't remove God from his throne in your life all because you're disappointed God Is Bigger Than That which comes against you and if the fight intensifies and your own thoughts become Negative they start telling you that this situation is permanent this result is permanent don't be discouraged even though it looks Hopeless the word of God says joy comes in the morning to

everything there is a season so this too shall pass don't be moved by what you see in the natural eye but rely on the word of God that you know the word that says God is good a stronghold in the day of trouble focus on that instead of what's disappointed you the word that says you are my Hiding Place and my shield it says I will look to the Lord I Will wait for the god of my salvation my God will hear me your life is in God's hands your future is in God's hands if

life hits you and you fall wouldn't it be better to fall into the Loving Arms of Jesus Christ than anywhere else so don't be defined by a diagnosis don't be defined by the numbers in your bank account I've had to talk to myself and Remind myself that I have a Creator who has a plan and God's plan will still Prevail God's will will still be done he has ordered my steps and so I am not alone my beginning and my end is known by him my highs and your lows are known by him and I

will walk by faith and not by sight believing that the Lord has numbered my good days to exceed my bad Days so get to to the point where you are content and at peace to say Lord my life is in your hands you have said be anxious for nothing you have said that you know the number of hairs on my head and so I Surrender and yield to your will father your word in Psalm 18 verse 1-6 says I love you Lord my strength the Lord is my rock my Fortress and my deliverer my God

Is My Rock in whom I take refuge my shield and the Horn of my Salvation my stronghold I called to the Lord who is worthy of praise and I have been saved from my enemies the cords of death entangled me the torments of Destruction overwhelmed me the cords of the Grave coiled around me the snares of death confronted me in my distress I called to the Lord I cried to my God for help from his Temple he heard my voice My Cry came before him into his Ears emotions are and can be very powerful I've

seen people so happy that their faces were covered in tears tears of joy I've seen people so distraught and filled with sorrow that they couldn't string together two words I've seen others be so inspired and motivated that they could work day and night tirelessly to accomplish something or to achieve something I read a powerful quote on Something Billy Graham said many years ago he said that 75% of patients in hospitals would be made whole if they would only forgive think about that some people hold on to certain emotions certain negative emotions for so long and

eventually those emotions manifest themselves in sickness Proverbs 14:30 says a heart at peace gives life to the body but Envy rots the Bones Envy is a feeling of jealousy it's resentment and the Bible tells us that Envy an internal emotion rots the bones meaning it has a physical external result Hebrews 12 verse 14- 15 says pursue peace with all people and Holiness without which no one will see the Lord looking carefully lest anyone fall short of the grace of God lest any root of bitterness springing up cause trouble and by this many become defiled notice

that this verse doesn't Even warn us to be cautious of bitterness itself it warns us to be cautious of the root the root of bitterness now the root of a plant is not visible to the naked eye we may only be aware that a seed was planted when we see the fruit so when the Bible says see to it that no root of bitterness Springs up it's because this emotion of bitterness is so destructive that it needs to be uprooted as soon as the seed germinated the Bible is telling us not To even wait until

you see the fruit of bitterness cut it off at the root and so dear listener I aware that in this life all of us will EXP experience unpleasant emotions at one point or another we will experience the pain of portrayal we'll experience heartache and loss we might even suffer maltreatment and Injustice but my message to you is that you should learn to forgive learn to Let Go Don't hold on to everything negative Pray for the Lord to heal your wounds pray for the Lord to mend your broken heart pray that you would be someone who

doesn't repay evil with evil but instead have the love of Christ and repay evil with good I encourage you to pray for God to give you the capacity to be able to forgive and move on don't live a life where you're imprisoned by toxic emotions no Jesus Christ offers you Peace Joy Victory despite what people do to you in Jesus you can have freedom you can have life and have it more abundantly now let us pray dear Lord I pray that your grace would be over us someone listening has been betrayed and I pray that

you would heal them Lord and let them know that you will never abandon them you will never turn your back on them someone listening has been the recipient of hurtful words someone has Had evil words spoken against them spoken about them and Lord I ask that your healing hand would mend every heart and every ear that has been on the receiving end of hurtful or cruel words help us to forgive let there be no bitterness in our hearts Let There Be No Malice in our hearts let there be no jealousy or hate in our hearts

instead Lord Jesus heal our wounds heal every wound inflicted by our enemies every wound inflicted by our Friends or even loved ones make us whole and fill our hearts with love teach us to love help us to live by Your Word which tells us to love our neighbors give us the grace Lord Jesus to live and to love according to First Corinthians 13:4 to8 which says love suffers long and is kind love does not envy love does not parade itself is not puffed up does not behave rudely does not seek its own is not provoked

thinks no evil does not Rejoice in inequity but rejoices in the truth Bears all things believes all things hopes all things endures all things Love Never Fails but whether there are prophecies they will fail whether there are tongues they will cease whether there is knowledge it will vanish away give us this type of love in our hearts Jesus so that when others do evil to us we can respond and repay them with love when others speak negatively about Us and to us give us great grace so that we may be able to love them regardless

of what they say against us I pray for everyone listening Lord Jesus would you please heal every wound of portrayal for the person who feels rejected and unwanted I pray that you would heal every wound inflicted by the actions of others heal every ear that has heard cruel words spoken against them to those who Feel low Lord Jesus I pray that you would lift up their Spirit to those who are sad and have a heavy heart remove their burdens Lord Jesus father uproot every root of bitterness and resentment in our hearts uproot every memory linked

to negative and toxic emotions in our hearts help us to let go give us the strength to practice forgiveness give us the grace to practice real love in our lives your word in Romans 12: 9-12 says love Must be sincere hate what is evil cling to what is good be devoted to one another in love honor one another above yourselves never be lacking and Zeal but keep your spiritual fervor serving the lord be joyful in Hope patient in Affliction faithful in prayer help us to do this Lord help us to love sincerely help us to

cling to what is good and to hate what is evil help us to be devoted to each other in Love I thank you for listening to this prayer May the blood of Jesus Christ cover us amen I was recently watching a documentary about Hospital emergencies in New York City and this particular documentary takes you behind the scenes so that you can see how surgeons doctors nurses how they all respond to Medical emergencies and in one episode one of the surgeons who had been operating on other people he actually got into a schi Accident himself and

he needed the help of the people who he worked with now this got me to thinking this surgeon was always on the other side he was always on the other side of the emergency room he was always on the other side of the operating table because he was the one operating he was the expert telling the patient that everything will be okay he was always the one giving the news never the one waiting to receive The news and that made me think what happens when it's you what happens when you're the one who now needs

to be encouraged but you're so used to encouraging others what happens when you now need others to pray for you but for so long you've been the one to pray for others so often as Christians we encourage each other we tell each other to have faith we tell each other to believe that God will turn it around for You how many people in our lives have we prayed for have we encouraged we've told them that their Miracle is on its way their healing is on its way you know you know how we do but at

one point in our lives we will be the ones praying for a miracle in our own lives at some point in our lives we'll be the person on the other side we'll be the patient we'll be the one in need of Encouragement so knowing this what do you do well I'd like for you to pay attention to the words of Jesus in Matthew 7: 24- 27 the Bible reads anyone who listens to my teaching and follows it is wise like a person who builds a house On Solid Rock though the rain comes in torrents and

the flood waters rise and the winds beat against that house it won't collapse because it is built on Bedrock but anyone who hears my teaching and doesn't obey it is foolish like a person who builds a house on Sand when the rains and floods come and the winds beat against that house it will collapse with a mighty crash the way that we prepare to face the challenges of life is by building our house on the solid rock and that rock is Jesus Christ you see this means that when The Rains of Life pour down when

the river floods or or a tornado hits nothing can move your house nothing can move you because you're standing on the solid rock call called Jesus Christ so while things are well with you continue to build your house on Jesus continue to stand on the Solid Rock of Ages and so as we prepare to go to the Lord in prayer I just encourage you to remember that one day you will be on the other side one thing is certain life will present its storms but there's one thing that is even more certain if you are

rooted in Christ if you are built on that Solid Rock you can withstand so let's pray and ask God to help us build on him Lord Jesus when life challenges us stand with us Lord when life is difficult God give us strength to stay stand firm in faith stand by us when life presents us with hardship Lord I pray that you would defend us when we are under attack from the enemy remind us that your love is forever with us remind us that your word in Psalm 23:6 says surely goodness and mercy shall follow me

all the days of my life and I will dwell in the house of the Lord forever when we encounter troubling times in life Lord help us to remember that the Bible says in Deuteronomy 31:6 be strong and courageous do not be afraid or terrified because of them for the Lord your God goes with you he will never leave you nor forsake you Lord Jesus we're looking to you today Father we look to you for strength for dire ction for protection for Preservation we look to you for provision mercy and peace dear Lord we're limited I've

looked Within Myself for strength but I have come to find that I am not strong enough I've looked Within Myself for Direction but now I know that I am not wise enough oh I've tried to look Within Myself for motivation and happiness but Lord I have come to find that true Joy can only be found when we look to you our true purpose can only be found in you your word in Psalm 119: 36- 38 says incline my heart to your testimonies and not to dishonest gain and envy turn my eyes away from vanity all

those worldly meaningless things that distract let your priorities be mine and restore me with Renewed Energy in your Ways establish your word and confirm your promise to your servant as that which produces all inspired reverence for you Lord turn our eyes away from worldly things turn our eyes away from worthless things God and help us to have mind Minds fixed on Christ and eyes fixed on Jesus because when we look to you when we focus on you master you'll turn our lives around and you'll demonstrate that you Can take us from the lowest of the

low and use us For Your Glory help us Master to keep our eyes fixed on Jesus because if we stray and wander we will begin to look at what's around us instead of Jesus Christ this leads us to distractions and that leads us to become preoccupied with things with situations with events that don't even matter we'll become focused on the things that are of this world instead of The things that are Eternal Father we're limited whereas you are Limitless we cannot look ahead into the future with our natural eyes eyes so we look to the

one who holds the past the present and the future I thank you Lord Jesus for all that you do for the goodness and mercy you've shown us as your children we thank you for being so merciful and kind you are a God who is So good you're so caring your word tells us that you have numbered the hairs on our heads because of your great love for us great is your mercy Great Is Your Love Psalm 56:3 says when I am afraid I put my trust in you in God whose word I Praise In God

I trust I shall not be afraid what can flesh do to me Psalm 31 verse 24 be strong and Let Your Heart Take courage all you who wait for the Lord be strong Saints and stand in faith my need for you is great Lord Jesus my need for you is clear I need you more than I need silver and gold or the riches of this world I need you Jesus more than I need a new car a new house or more money Lord I cannot save myself I cannot heal or redeem myself I need you

Lord Lord I need you because I can't give myself eternal life nor can I Overcome sin on my own it's you that I need Master Lord I have realized that in this life it is impossible to win it's impossible to overcome or have Victory by myself father there are strongholds that I cannot break there are problems that I can't overcome on my own Jesus I Need You I need the Good Shepherd I need one who can speak peace and Stillness into the storms of Life Lord I need you to stand by me calm my emotions

let my heart not be troubled father there are giants that I'm facing giant oppositions which follow my family bloodline and Lord I can't fight them with My Own Strength I need divine intervention I need Supernatural strength to overcome so I pray father Hear My Cry as I ask that you stand by me God be with me always because if I try and do things On my own if I try and live life with My Own Strength it simply won't work without your grace everything is out of my reach father my prayer is that you would

always be with me be with me as I face the storms of life be with me as I walk through the valley of the shadow of death Stand By Me in the fiery furnace Stand By Me When I can't see a way out when the enemy comes at me like a flood raise up a standard Lord I pray that you would not allow the challenges that I face to overwhelm me Lord Jesus when problems appear to be daunting give me Divine strength father your word says in John 24: 18 through 20 I will not leave

you as orphans I will come to you yet a little while and the world will see me no more but you will see me because I live you also will live in that day you will know that I am in my father and you in me and I in You I thank you Lord for such a promise you have promised never to to leave us alone when the odds are against us we will not fear for you are with us whether I am in the Lion's Den or in the eye of a storm I trust

and believe that you will always be faithful and Stand By Me Blessed Be Your Name King Jesus amen there was a man named Smith Wigglesworth from England who was Mightily used by God a man of great faith and he would always say I'm a thousand times bigger on the inside than on the outside he knew the value of strengthening your inner person now let us pray dear Lord Jesus help us to grow help us to grow in boldness and courage help us to grow in knowledge and understanding when it comes to the things of God

open our eyes so that we can see that we can never rely on our own willpower because we will fail we cannot rely on our own motivation because we will fail but when we stand on your word Lord Jesus we will never fail we will never be defeated and so Lord our attitude today is to say less of me Lord and more of you father we receive your word that says in Ephesians 1 19- 21 I also pray That you will understand the incredible greatness of God's power for us who believe in him this is

the same Mighty power that raised Christ from the dead and seated him in the place of honor at God's right hand in the Heavenly Realms now he is far above any ruler or authority or power or leader or anything else not only in this world but also in the world to come in you Lord we are able to overcome every struggle Whatever oppresses us we give it to you whatever tries to Blind us and pull us backwards God we give it to you to handle dear Lord we desire to live a life that is pure

and pleasing to you we desire to live a life whereby we aren't cycling in and out of sin cleanse us master I pray that the blood of Jesus Christ that precious blood that was shed on the cross at Calvary for us we pray that it would cleanse us from Sin you are a God who is generous in love you are great in compassion father hear our cry today we want to be a people who live lives that please you lives that honor you and obey your word and to do this we need to be empowered

by the holy spirit so that we can resist temptation we hold on to your word in Psalm 103 11-13 which says for as high as the heavens are above the Earth so great is his love for those who fear Him As far as the East is from the West so far has he removed our transgressions from us as a father has compassion on his children so the Lord has compassion on those who fear Him Empower us to have victory over sin Lord we are not slaves to unrighteousness but to righteousness Empower us to overcome daily

this struggle of sin make us clean vessels ready to serve your kingdom mighty God we bless your precious name for you are worthy to be praised King Jesus thank you for listening to this prayer amen Lord Jesus we give you praise and we thank you for the perfect work that you accomplished on the cross Lord you hung on that cross for our sins you were blameless yet our sins were nailed on that cross with you Lord Jesus how could we ever thank you Enough words fail me there are no words to thank you King Jesus

for that price that you paid on the cross for me the Bible says in Isaiah 53 verses 3-5 he was despised and rejected by mankind a man of suffering and familiar with pain like one from whom people hide their faces he was despised and we held him in low esteem surely he took up our pain and bore our suffering yet we considered him Punished by God stricken by him and Afflicted but he was pierced for our transgressions he was crushed for our iniquities the punishment that brought us peace was on him him and by his

wounds we are healed Lord Jesus in agreement with everyone listening We Praise You Lord we adore you and we worship you because you Lord were the one who was hurt you were the one who suffered because of our sins you were wounded for our Wrongdoing Jesus you endured incredible pain for us and the blood that you shed was for our he healing that blood that you shed is for our healing right now Lord I Thank you for the blood I thank you for the blood that you shed King Jesus so that we could be protected

so that our families can be protected so that our children and loved ones can be protected Lord Jesus I thank you for the blood that covers Us the precious blood That Shields Us from Evil the Bible says in 1 Corinthians 15: 3 through 4 for I delivered to you as of first importance what I also received that Christ died for our sins in accordance with the scriptures that he was buried that he was raised on the third day in accordance with the scriptures Lord Jesus we Rejoice because you have risen from the dead Our Savior

has defeated death and we serve a living God we Rejoice that you are all powerful We Rejoice that you are a God who can resurrect and restore Lord Jesus we give you all the glory all the praise and all the honor I call on your name King Jesus to be our rescue be our Banner of Hope Lord you are the reason why we are more than conquerors you Lord Jesus are the reason why no weapon that is formed against us will prosper you Lord are the reason why we Cannot be intimidated by the devil in

the name of Jesus we refuse to be oppressed suppressed or depressed by the enemy we believe and declare Psalm 20 verse 7 it says some trust in chariots and some in horses but we trust in the name of the Lord Our God some find their strength in their weapons but we we will trust in you King Jesus some will trust in science some will trust in their own wisdom but oh we will only trust in you Lord Jesus we will boast in your strength and in your might alone your name is above every other name

and Lord right now we thank you for hearing this prayer for we speak it in your name and we bless your name yes it's in the mighty and matchless name of Jesus that we pray and we give thanks [Music] Amen Matthew 14:31 says immediately Jesus reached out his hand and caught him you of little faith he said why did you doubt oh you of little faith why did you doubt that's the question Jesus asked Peter as the Lord pulled his disciple up from the water at the Lord's invitation Peter had walked on water to come

to Jesus but before he made it to Jesus the howling wind and the storm tossed waves caused Peter to fear as the fear set in he began to sink by the Lord's power Peter had done the impossible he had walked on water but doubt and fear caused Peter to lose focus on Jesus and threatened his life perhaps Jesus's question seems a bit harsh surely we can sympathize with Peter who wouldn't have a bit of Doubt while walking on a stormy sea and yet the Lord's desire was for Peter's Faith to triumph over doubt you see

doubt is a dangerous weapon in Satan's Arsenal and it is one that Christians must strive to Overcome if you've ever struggled with doubt then I need you to realize that you are not alone there are many good people who have consider Sarah the wife of Abraham few individuals stand as examples of Faith like Abraham and Sarah but even Sarah wrestled with doubt in Genesis 18 God informed Abraham that he and Sarah would have a son while that should be exciting news it seemed impossible because the couple was advanced in years they were too old to

Have children Sarah overheard this announcement and the Bible records so Sarah laughed to herself saying after I am worn out and my Lord is old shall I have pleasure that may not seem like a big deal but the word laugh can mean to laugh in justest or to laugh in scorn it seems the latter is what Sarah did she laughed because she doubted the Lord's promise Sarah tried to deny it but God's question was direct is anything too hard for the Lord this Demonstrates one of the primary problems with doubt doubt reveals that we don't

fully trust God when we doubt it's as though we're saying I don't believe God can do this maybe we doubt our sins can be forgiven perhaps we doubt the gospel can change someone in our lives essentially doubt is nothing short of thinking less of God and his power now that's a dangerous mind said indeed and then of course we have doubting Thomas for whatever reason Thomas was not with the other disciples in the upper room on the day of Jesus's resurrection he wasn't there to see the Lord with his own eyes and when the others

reported to Thomas that Jesus had risen he didn't believe them he famously said unless I see in his hands the mark of the nails and place my finger into the mark of the nails and place my hand into his side I will never believe Thomas's doubt robbed him of much joy at least for a time it was another 8 days Before Jesus appeared to the disciples again this time time Thomas was present and his doubts they were blown away but think about this for a little more than a week the other disciples lived with the

joy of knowing Jesus their teacher their friend their Messiah he was alive if Thomas had remembered the Lord's words and believed the other disciples testimony he could have shared in their joy and hope instead Thomas spent that week in the pit of despair and Depression because doubt is a robber of joy and doubt can have dire consequences Sarah's doubt was overcome and she witnessed God's power when she later conceived and bore a son just as God had promised Thomas's doubt was defeated by seeing the Risen Lord but others in the Bible were not so fortunate

for their doubt condemned them in Luke's gospel he records that one of the two thieves crucified with Jesus was Saved one Thief stopped reviling Jesus defended the Lord and asked Jesus to remember him when he entered his kingdom that's a lot of faith for a dying man but what about the other Thief it would seem he didn't have the same change of heart he mocked Jesus and never placed his faith in the Lord why it was probably because of doubt he likely doubted that a cruci ified man a dying man had any power to save

he doubted Jesus was the Messiah he doubted Jesus Was the son of God and that doubt was his ultimate downfall again doubt has consequences even in daily life we understand this truth when a detective doubts a Witnesses testimony or a suspect's alibi that will significantly affect his investigation when a jury doubts a defendant's claims it may have life-altering consequences when a husband or wife doubts the Loyalty of their spouse it Can ruin their marriage doubt and suspicion will change how they think and how they treat one another doubt can become a poison it can be

a poison that destroys an otherwise loving relationship yes doubt certainly has consequences and this is a especially true spiritually when the Christian Harbors doubts the consequences can be devastating James warns against this great danger James 1: 5-8 says if you Need Wisdom ask our generous God and he will give it to you he will not rebuke you for asking but when you ask him be sure that your faith is in God alone do not waver for a person with divided loyalty is as unsettled as a wave of the sea that is blown and tossed by

the wind such people should not expect to receive anything from the Lord their loyalty is divided between God and the world and they are unstable in everything they do you see dear listener the problem with Doubt is that it is the opposite of faith faith is what helps us stand firm doubt will toss us around like a ship on a stormy sea with no anger faith it gives us stability and strength but doubt doubt makes us unstable and unable to Faithfully serve God when we are ruled by doubt instead of Faith even our prayers are

hindered according to James yes doubt is a grave danger with terrible consequences doubt turns our eyes away From Jesus causes us to question God robs us of joy and even hinders our prayers worst of all if we persist in doubt it can even Rob us of Eternal salvation but I need you to realize you do not have to succumb to doubt even if doubts have plagued the past you can't overcome them how the same way Peter did turn to Jesus and seek his help don't let the winds and waves cause doubt keep your eyes eyes

firmly fixed on Jesus and his word place your trust in him and Follow him Faithfully all the days of your life now with this understanding that we cannot please God without faith that faith is an essential part of our Christian lives let us go Before the Throne of God and ask him to help us be emboldened to walk in faith and to act in faith every single day of Our Lives Lord Jesus be praised be glorified and honored Lord we desire to grow in faith We desire to grow in understanding father we want to grow

in wisdom Matthew 7: 24-27 says therefore whoever hears these say of mine and does them I will liken him to a wise man who built his house on the rock and the rain descended the floods came and the winds blew and beat on that house and it did not fall for it was founded on the Rock but everyone who hears these sayings of mine and does not do them will be like a foolish man who Built his house on the sand and the rain descended the floods came and the winds blew and beat on that

house and it fell and great was its fall Lord Jesus we will build our lives on your words because our house will not fall when it's built on you master god you're the Rock of Ages and so when The Rains of Life come when the floods of Life come when the winds blow and beat on us we will not fall because you Lord are our anchor our Chief Cornerstone and the solid rock on which which we stand father forgive us for the times that we have doubted you Lord I pray that you would displace any

doubt and fill our hearts with faith I ask that the Holy Spirit would Empower us and strengthen us when we feel weak Holy Ghost remind us that God's word in 2 Corinthians 12: 9 and 10 says and he said to me my grace is sufficient for you for my strength is made perfect in Weakness therefore most gladly I will rather boast in my infirmities that the power of Christ May rest upon me therefore I take pleasure in infirmities in reproaches in needs in persecutions in distresses for Christ sake for when I am weak then I

am strong we believe your word Lord Jesus whenever we're weak you are the source of our strength whenever we feel powerless we're strong in you Lord I Praise You Lord because your grace is sufficient to meet our every Need Your Loving kindness it's enough to fill every void in our lives and I praise you God because your mercy is more than enough your mercy is always available and never ending it covers a multitude of sins for this Lord we are ever grateful and I pray for anyone struggling with fear in their lives anyone who may

be wrestling with doubt May the Holy Ghost move into their lives And remove every spirit that stands against the word of God May the Holy Spirit sweep away every negative thought or voice that stands against the word of God I pray that the Holy Spirit would keep us anchored in the word of God keep us rooted in scripture father cast out all our worries all our fears and every doubt in Joshua 1 verse 9 the word of God says have I not commanded you be Strong and courageous do not be afraid do not be discouraged

for the Lord your God will be with you wherever you go as your children father we will not fear because you are with us you are the god of Abraham Isaac and Jacob a God who has never lost a battle and so father we are only strong and courageous because you are on our side Lord help us not to be overwhelmed by the trials of this life father be glorified and be praised Raed forever more it's in Jesus name I pray amen if you need Wisdom ask our generous God and he will give it to

you he will not rebuke you for asking but when you ask him be sure that your faith is in God alone do not waver for a person with divided loyalty is as unsettled as a wave of the sea that is blown and tossed by the wind such people should not expect to receive anything from the Lord their loyalty is divided between God and The world and they are unstable in everything they do what do you do when you're sitting across from the doctor and the report isn't good what do you do when you look at

your bank statement you look at your bills and the numbers just don't add up what do you do when life hits you with the unexpected when life hits you hard and catches you on your Blind Side if there's one thing that you should know and expect it's that the reality of Life can sometimes be Earth shattering and harsh and perhaps you may not be able to turn your situation around immediately but I pray that my words today will plant seeds of faith in your spirit don't be discouraged by what you see don't be discouraged by

what you hear your life life is in God's hands and that's something you should Actually tell yourself every once in a while my life is in God's hands your health may not be where you want it to be but I encourage you to do all that you can and ask God to meet you halfway your dream may seem like it's no longer possible but I encourage you to continue pursuing God whether or not you become a doctor whether or not you become an attorney pilot don't remove God from his throne in your life all because

you're Disappointed God Is Bigger Than That which comes against you and if the fight intensifies your own thoughts become Negative they start telling you that this situation is permanent this result is permanent don't be discouraged even though it looks hopeless the word of God says joy comes in the morning to everything there is a season so this too shall Pass don't be moved by what you see in the natural eye but rely on the word of God that you know the word that says God is good a stronghold in the day of trouble focus on

that instead of what's disappointed you the word that says you are my Hiding Place and my shield it says I will look to the Lord I will wait for the god of my salvation my God will hear me your life is in God's hands your Future is in God's hands if life hits you and you fall wouldn't it be better to fall into the Loving Arms of Jesus Christ than anywhere else so don't be defined by a diagnosis don't be defined by the numbers in your bank account I had to talk to myself and remind

myself that I have a Creator who has a plan and God's plan will still Prevail God's will will still be done he has ordered my steps and so I am not alone my beginning and my end is known by him my highs and your lows are known by him and I will walk by faith and not by sight believing that the Lord has numbered my good days to exceed my bad days so get to the point where you are content and at peace to say Lord my life is in your Hands you have said be

anxious for nothing you have said that you know the number of hairs on my head and so I Surrender and yield to your will father your word and Psalm 18: 1-6 says I love you Lord my strength the Lord is my rock my Fortress and my deliverer my God Is My Rock in whom I take refuge my shield and the Horn of my salvation my stronghold I called to the Lord who is worthy of praise and I have been saved From my enemies the cords of death entangled me the torments of Destruction overwhelmed me the

cords of the Grave coiled around me the snares of death confronted me in my distress I called to the Lord I cried to my God for help from his Temple he heard my voice My Cry came before him into his ears emotions are and can be very powerful I've seen people so happy that their Faces were covered in tears tears of joy I've seen people so distraught and filled with sorrow that they couldn't string together two words I've seen others be so inspired and motivated that they could work day and night tirelessly to accomplish something

or to achieve something I read a powerful quote on something Billy Graham said many years ago he said that 75% of patients in hospitals would be made whole if they Would only forgive think about that some people hold on to certain emotions certain negative emotions for so long and eventually those emotions manifest themselves in sickness Proverbs 14:30 says a heart at peace gives life to the body but Envy rots the bones Envy is a feeling of jealousy it's resentment and the Bible tells us that envy and internal emotion rots the bones Meaning it has a

physical external result Hebrews 12:4 to 15 says pursue peace with all people and holiness without which no one will see the Lord looking carefully lest anyone fall short of the grace of God lest any root of bitterness springing up cause trouble and by this many become defiled notice that this verse doesn't even warn us to be cautious of bitterness itself it warns us to be cautious of the root the root of Bitterness now the root of a plant is not visible to the naked eye we may only be aware that a seed was planted when

we see the fruit so when the Bible says see to it that no root of bitterness Springs up it's because this emotion of bitterness is so destructive that it needs to be uprooted as soon as the seed germinated the Bible is telling us not to even wait until you see the fruit of bitterness cut it off at the root and so dear listener I'm aware that In this life all of us will experience unpleasant emotions at one point or another we will experience the pain of portrayal we'll experience heartache and loss we might even suffer

maltreatment and Injustice but my message to you is that you should learn to forgive learn to Let Go Don't hold on to every everything negative pray for the Lord to heal your wounds pray for the Lord to mend your broken heart pray that you would be Someone who doesn't repay evil with evil but instead have the love of Christ and repay evil with good I encourage you to pray for God to give you the capacity to be able to forgive and move on don't live a life where you're imprisoned by toxic emotions no Jesus Christ

offers you peace Joy Victory despite what people do to you in Jesus you can have freedom you can have life and have it more Abundantly now let us pray dear Lord I pray that your grace would be over us someone listening has been betrayed and I pray that you would heal them Lord and let them know that you will never abandon them you will never turn your back on them someone listening has been the recipient of hurtful words someone has had evil words spoken against them spoken about them and Lord I ask that your healing

hand would mend every heart And every ear that has been on the receiving end of hurtful or cruel words help us to forgive let there be no bitterness in our hearts Let There Be No Malice in our hearts let there be no jealousy or hate in our hearts instead Lord Jesus heal our wounds heal every wound inflicted by our enemies every wound inflicted by our friends or even loved ones make us whole and fill our hearts with love teach us to love help us to Live by Your Word which tells us to love our neighbors

give us the grace Lord Jesus to live and to love according to First Corinthians 13: 4-8 which says love suffers long and is kind love does not envy love does not parade itself is not puffed up does not behave rudely does not seek its own is not provoked thinks no evil does not not rejoice in inequity but rejoices in the truth Bears all things believes all things hopes all things endures all Things Love Never Fails but whether there are prophecies they will fail whether there are tongues they will cease whether there is knowledge it will

vanish away give us this type of love in our hearts Jesus so that when others do evil to us we can respond and repay them with love when others speak negatively about us and to us give us great grace so that we may be able to love them regardless of what They say against us I pray for everyone listening Lord Jesus would you please heal every wound of portrayal for the person who feels rejected and unwanted I pray that you would heal every wound inflicted by the actions of others heal every ear that has heard

cruel words spoken against them to those who feel low Lord Jesus I pray that you would lift up their Spirit to those who are sad and have a heavy Heart remove their burdens Lord Jesus father uproot every root of bitterness and resentment in our hearts uproot every memory linked to negative and toxic emotions in our hearts help us to let go give us the strength to practice forgiveness give us the grace to practice real love in our lives your word in Romans 12: 9-12 says love must be sincere hate what is evil cling to what

is good be devoted to one another in love honor one another above Yourselves never be lacking in Zeal but keep your spiritual fervor serving the lord be joyful in Hope patient in Affliction faithful in prayer help us to do this Lord help us to love sincerely help us to cling to what is good and to hate what is evil help us to be devoted to each other in love I thank you for listening to this prayer may the blood of Jesus Christ cover us Amen I was recently watching a documentary about Hospital emergencies in New

York City and this particular documentary takes you behind the scenes so that you can see how surgeons doctors nurses how they all respond to Medical emergencies and in one episode one of the surgeons who had been operating on other people he actually got into a skiing accident himself and he needed the help of the people who he worked with now this got me to Thinking this surgeon was always on the other side he was always on the other side of the emergency room he was always on the other side of the operating table because he

was the one operating he was the expert telling the patient that everything will be okay he was always the one giving the news never the one waiting to receive the news and that made me think what happens when it's you what happens when you're the one who Now needs to be encouraged but you're so used to encouraging others what happens when you now need others to pray for you but for so long you've been the one to pray for others so often as Christians we encourage each other we tell each other to have faith we

tell each other to believe that God will turn it around for you how many people in our lives have we prayed for have we encouraged we've told them that their Miracle is on its way their healing is on its way you know you know how we do but at one point in our lives we will be the ones praying for a miracle in our own lives at some point in our lives we'll be the person on the other side we'll be the patient we'll be the one in need of encouragement so knowing this what do

you do well I'd like for you to pay Attention to the words of Jesus in Matthew 7: 24- 27 the Bible reads anyone who listens to my teaching and follows it is wise like a person who builds a house on Solid Rock though the rain comes in torrents and the flood waters rise and the winds beat against that house it won't collapse because it is built on Bedrock but anyone who hears my teaching and doesn't obey it is foolish like a person who builds a house On Sand when the rains and Bloods come and the

winds beat against that house it will collapse with a mighty crash the way that we prepare to face the challenges of life is by building our house on the solid rock and that rock is Jesus Christ you see this means that when The Rains of Life pour down when the river floods or or a tornado Hits nothing can move your house nothing can move you because you're standing on the solid rock called Jesus Christ so while things are well with you continue to build your house on Jesus continue to stand on the Solid Rock of

Ages and so as we prepare to go to the Lord in prayer I just encourage you to remember that one day you will be on the other side one thing is certain life will Present its storms but there's one thing that is even more certain if you are rooted in Christ if you are built on that Solid Rock you can withstand so let's pray and ask God to help us build on him Lord Jesus when life challenges us stand with us Lord when life is difficult God give us strength to stand firm in faith stand

by us when life presents us With hardship Lord I pray that you would defend us when we are under attack from the enemy remind us that your love is forever with us remind us that your word in Psalm 23:6 says surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the day days of my life and I will dwell in the house of the Lord forever when we encounter troubling times in life Lord help us to remember That the Bible says in Deuteronomy 31:6 be strong and courageous do not be afraid or terrified because of them for

the Lord your God goes with you he will never leave you nor forsake you Lord Jes Jesus we're looking to you today Father we look to you for strength for direction for protection for preservation we look to you for provision mercy and peace dear Lord we're Limited I've looked Within Myself for strength but I have come to find that I am not strong enough I've looked Within Myself for Direction but now I know that I I am not wise enough oh I've tried to look Within Myself for motivation and happiness but Lord I have come

to find that true Joy can only be found when we look to you our true purpose can only be found in You your word in Psalm 119: 36-38 says incline my heart to your testimonies and not to dishonest gain and envy turn my eyes away from vanity all those worldly meaningless things that distract let your priorities be mine and restore me with Renewed Energy in your ways establish your word and confirm your promise to your servant as that which produces all inspired reverence For you Lord turn our eyes away from world worldly things turn our

eyes away from worthless things God and help us to have Minds fixed on Christ and eyes fixed on Jesus because when we look to you when we focus on you master you'll turn our lives around and you'll demonstrate that you can take us from the lowest of the low and use us For Your Glory help us master to keep our eyes Fixed on Jesus because if we stray and wander we will begin to look at what's around us instead of Jesus Christ this leads us to distractions and that leads us to become preoccupied with things

with situations with events that don't even matter we'll become focused on the things that are of this world instead of the things that are Eternal Father we're Limited Whereas you are Limitless we cannot look ahead into the future with our natural eyes so we look to the one who holds the past the present and the future I thank you Lord Jesus for all that you do for the goodness and mercy you've shown us as your children we thank you for being so merciful and kind you are a God who is so good you're so caring

your word tells us that you have numbered the hairs on Our heads because of your great love for us great is your mercy Great Is Your Love Psalm 56:3 says when I am afraid I put my trust in you in God whose word I Praise In God I trust I shall not be afraid what can flesh do to me psalm 31: 24 be strong and Let Your Heart Take courage all you who wait for the Lord be strong Saints and stand in faith my need for you is great Lord Jesus my need for you is

clear I need You more than I need silver and gold or the riches of this world I need you Jesus more than I need a new car a new house or more money Lord I cannot save myself I cannot heal or redeem myself I need you Lord Lord I need you because I can't give myself eternal life nor can I overcome sin on my own it's you that I need Master Lord I have realized that in this Life it is impossible to win it's impossible to overcome or have Victory by myself father there are strongholds

that I cannot break there are problems that I can't overcome on my own Jesus I Need You I need the Good Shepherd I need one who can speak peace and Stillness into the storms of life Lord Lord I need you to stand by me calm my emotions let my heart not be troubled father there are giants that I'm facing Giant oppositions which follow my family bloodline and Lord I can't fight them with My Own Strength I need divine intervention I need Supernatural strength to overcome so I pray father Hear My Cry as I ask that

you stand by me God be with me always because if I try and do things on my own if I try and live life with My Own Strength it simply won't work without your grace everything is out of my reach Father my prayer is that you would always be with me be with me as I face the storms of life be with me as I walk through the valley of the shadow of death Stand By Me in the fiery furnace Stand By Me When I can't see a way out when the enemy comes at me

like a flood raise up a standard Lord I pray that you would not allow the challenges that I face to overwhelm me Lord Jesus when problems appear to be daunting give me divine mind Strength father your word says in John 24: 18- 20 I will not leave you as orphans I will come to you yet a little while and the world will see me no more but you will see me because I live you also will live in that day you will know that I am in my father and you in me and I in

you I thank you Lord for such a promise you have promised never to leave us alone when the odds are against us we will not fear for you are with us Whether I am in the lion Den or in the eye of a storm I trust and believe that you will always be faithful and Stand By Me Blessed Be Your Name King Jesus amen there was a man named Smith Wigglesworth from England who was mightily used by God a man of great faith and he would always say I'm a thousand times bigger on the inside

than on the Outside he knew the value of strengthening your inner person now let us pray dear Lord Jesus help us to grow help us to grow in boldness and courage help us to grow in knowledge and understanding when it comes to the things of God open our eyes so that we can see that we can never rely on our own willpower because we will fail we cannot rely on our own motivation because we will fail But when we stand on your word Lord Jesus we will never fail we will never be defeated and so

Lord our attitude today is to say less of me Lord and more of you father we receive your word that says in Ephesians 1 19-21 I also pray that you will understand the incredible greatness of God's power for us who believe in him this is the same Mighty power that raised Christ from the dead and seated Him in the place of honor at God's right hand in the Heavenly Realms now he is far above any ruler or authority or power or leader or anything else not only in this world but also in the world to

come in you Lord we are able to overcome every struggle whatever oppresses us we give it to you whatever tries to Blind us and pull us backwards God we give it to you to [Music] handle dear Lord we desire to live a life that is pure and pleasing to you we desire to live a life whereby we aren't cycling in and out of sin cleanse us master I pray that the blood of Jesus Christ that precious blood that was shed on the cross at Calvary for us we pray that it would cleanse us from sin

you are a God who is generous in love you are great in compassion father Hear our cry today we want to be a people who live lives that please you lives that honor you and obey your word and to do this we need to be empowered by the holy spirit so that we can resist temptation we hold on to your word in Psalm 103 11-13 which says for as high as the heavens are above the Earth so great is his love for those who Fe fear him as far as the East is from the West

so far has he removed our transgressions From us as a father has compassion on his children so the Lord has compassion on those who fear Him Empower us to have victory over sin Lord we are not slaves to unrighteousness but to righteous Empower us to overcome daily this struggle of sin make us clean vessels ready to serve your kingdom mighty God we bless your precious name for you are worthy to be praised King Jesus thank you for listening to this Prayer amen Lord Jesus we give you praise and we thank you for the perfect work

that you accomplished on the cross Lord you hung on that cross for our sins you were blameless yet our sins were nailed on that cross with you Lord Jesus how could we ever thank you enough words fail me there are no words to thank you King Jesus for that price that you paid on the cross for Me the Bible says in Isa Isaiah 53: 3-5 he was despised and rejected by mankind a man of suffering and familiar with pain like one from whom people hide their faces he was despised and we held him in low

esteem surely he took up our pain and bore our suffering yet we considered him punished by God stricken by him and Afflicted but he was pierced for our transgressions He was crushed for our iniquities the punishment that brought us peace was on him and by his wounds we are healed Lord Jesus in agreement with everyone listening We Praise You Lord we adore you and we worship you because you Lord were the one who was hurt you were the one who suffered because of our sins you were wounded for our wrongdoing Jesus you endured incredible pain

for us and the blood that you shed was for our Healing that blood that you shed is for our healing right now Lord I Thank you for the blood I thank you for the blood that you shed King Jesus so that we could be protected so that our families can be protected so that our children and loved ones can be protected Lord Jesus I thank you for the blood that covers Us the precious blood that Shields Us from Evil the Bible says in 1 Corinthians 15: 3-4 for I delivered to you as of first importance

what I also received that Christ died for our sins in accordance with the scriptures that he was buried that he was raised on the thir third day in accordance with the scriptures Lord Jesus we Rejoice because you have risen from the dead Our Savior has defeated death and we serve a living God we Rejoice that you are all powerful We Rejoice that you are a God who can resurrect and restore Lord Jesus we give you all the glory all the praise and all the honor I call on your name King Jesus to be our rescue

be our Banner of Hope Lord you are the reason why we are more than conquerors you Lord Jesus are the reason why no weapon that is formed against us will prosper you Lord are the reason why we Cannot be intimidated by the devil in the name of Jesus we refuse to be oppressed suppressed or depressed by the enemy we believe and declare Psalm 20: 7 it says some trust in chariots and some in horses but we trust in the name of the Lord Our God some find their strength in their weapons but we we will

trust in you King Jesus some will trust in science some will trust in their own wisdom but oh we will only trust in you Lord Jesus we Will boast in your strength and in your might alone your name is above every other name and Lord right now we thank you for hearing this prayer for we speak it in your name and we bless your name yes it's in the mighty and matchless name of Jesus that we pray and we give thanks amen Matthew 14:31 says immediately Jesus reached out His hand and caught him you of

little faith he said why did you doubt oh you of little faith why did you doubt that's the question Jesus asked Peter as the Lord pulled his disciple up from the water at the Lord's invitation Peter had walked on water to come to Jesus but before he made it to Jesus the howling wind and the storm tossed waves caused Peter to fear as the fear set in he began to sink by the Lord's power Peter had done the impossible he had walked on Water but doubt and fear caused Peter to lose focus on Jesus and

threatened his life perhaps Jesus's question seems a bit harsh surely we can sympathize with Peter who wouldn't have a bit of Doubt while walking on a stormy sea and yet the Lord's desire was for Peter's Faith to triumph over doubt you see doubt is a dangerous weapon in Satan's Arsenal and it is one that Christians must strive to overcome if you've ever struggled with doubt that I need you to realize that You are not alone there are many good people who have consider Sarah the wife of Abraham few individuals stand as examples of Faith like

Abraham and Sarah but even Sarah wrestled with doubt in Genesis 18 God informed Abraham that he and Sarah would have a son while that should be exciting news it seemed impossible because the couple was advanced in years they were too old to have children Sarah overheard this Announcement and the Bible records so Sarah laughed to herself saying after I am worn out and my Lord is old shall I have pleasure that may not seem like a big deal but the word laugh can mean to laugh in justest or to laugh in scorn it seems the

latter is what Sarah did she laughed because she doubted the Lord's promise Sarah tried to deny it but G's question was direct is anything too hard for the Lord this demonstrates one of the primary problems with doubt Doubt reveals that we don't fully trust God when we doubt it's as though we're saying I don't believe God can do this maybe we doubt our sins can be forgiven perhaps we doubt the gospel can change someone in our lives essentially doubt is nothing short of thinking less of God and his power now that's a dangerous mindset indeed

and then of course we have doubting Thomas for whatever reason Thomas was not with the Other disciple in the upper room on the day of Jesus's resurrection he wasn't there to see the Lord with his own eyes and when the others reported to Thomas that Jesus had risen he didn't believe them he famously said unless I see in his hands the mark of the nails and place my finger into the mark of the nails and place my hand into his side I will never believe Thomas's doubt robbed him of much joy at at least for

a time it was another 8 Days before Jesus appeared to the disciples again this time Thomas was present and his doubts they were blown away but think about this for a little more than a week the other disciples lived with the joy of knowing Jesus their teacher their friend their Messiah he was alive if Thomas had remembered the Lord's words and believed the other disciples testimony he could have shared in their joy and hope instead Thomas spent that week in the pit of despair And depression because doubt is a robber of joy and doubt can

have dire consequences Sarah's doubt was overcome and she witnessed God's power when she later conceived and bore a son just as God had promised Thomas's doubt was defeated by seeing the Risen Lord but others in the Bible were not so fortunate for their doubt condemned them in Luke's gospel he records that one of the two thieves crucified with Jesus was saved one Thief stopped reviling Jesus Defended the Lord and asked Jesus to remember him when he entered his kingdom that's a lot of faith for a dying man but what about the other Thief it would

seem he didn't have the same change of heart he mocked Jesus and never placed his faith in the Lord why it was probably because of doubt he likely doubted that a crucified man a dying man had any power to save he doubted Jesus was the Messiah he doubted Jesus was the son of God and that doubt Was his ultimate downfall again doubt has consequences even in daily life we understand this truth when a detective doubts a witness's testimony or a suspect's alibi that will significantly affect his investigation when a jury doubts a defendant's claims it

may have life-altering consequences when a husband or wife doubts the Loyalty of their spouse it can ruin their marriage doubt and Suspicion will change how they think and how they treat one another doubt can become a poison it can be a poison that destroys and otherwise loving relationship yes doubt certainly has consequences and this is especially true spiritually when the Christian Harbors doubts the consequences can be devastating James warns against this great danger James 1: 5-8 says if you need Wisdom ask our generous God and he will give it to you he will not rebuke

You for asking but when you ask him be sure that your faith is in God alone do not waver for a person with divided loyalty is as unsettled as a wave of the sea that is blown and tossed by the wind such people should not expect to receive anything from the Lord their loyalty is divided between God and the world and they are unstable in everything they do you see dear listener the problem with doubt is that it is the opposite of faith faith is what helps us stand Firm doubt will toss us around like

a ship on a stormy sea with no aner faith it gives us stability and strength but doubt doubt makes us unstable and unable to Faithfully serve God when we are ruled by doubt instead of Faith even our prayers are hindered according to James yes doubt is a grave danger with terrible consequences doubt turns our eyes away from Jesus causes us to question God robs us of joy and even hinders our prayers worst of All if we persist in doubt it can even Rob us of Eternal salvation but I need you to realize you do not

have to succumb to doubt even if doubts have plagued the past you can't overcome them how the same way Peter did turn to Jes Jesus and seek his help don't let the winds and waves cause doubt keep your eyes firmly fixed on Jesus and his word place your trust in him and follow him Faithfully all the days of your Life now with this understanding that we cannot please God without faith that faith is an essential part of our Christian lives let us go Before the Throne of God and ask him to help us be emboldened

to walk in faith and to act in faith every single day of Our Lives Lord Jesus be praised be glorified and honored Lord we desire to grow in faith we desire to grow in understanding father we want to grow in Wisdom Matthew 7: 24-27 says therefore whoever hears these sayings of mine and does them I will liken him to a wise man who built his house on the rock and the rain descended the floods came and the winds blew and beat on that house and it did not fall for it was founded on the Rock

but everyone who hears these sayings of mine and does not do them will be like a foolish man who built his house on the sand and the rain descended the floods came and the winds blew and Beat on that house and it fell and great was its fall Lord Jesus we will build our lives on your words because our house will not fall when it's built on you master god you're the Rock of Ages and so when The Rains of Life come when the floods of Life come when the winds blow and beat on us

we will not fall because you Lord are our anchor our Chief Cornerstone and the solid rock on which we Stand father forgive us for the times that we have doubted you Lord I pray that you would displace any doubt and fill our hearts with faith I ask that the Holy Spirit would Empower us and strengthen us when we feel weak Holy Ghost remind us that God's word in second Corinthians 12: 9 and 10 says and he said to me my grace is sufficient for you for my strength is made perfect in weakness therefore most gladly

I will rather boast in my infirmities that the Power of Christ May rest upon me therefore I take pleasure in infirmities in reproaches in needs in persecutions in distresses for Christ's sake for when I am weak then I am strong we believe your word Lord Jesus whenever we're weak you are the source of our strength whenever we feel powerless we're strong in you Lord I Praise You Lord because your grace is sufficient to meet our every Need Your Loving kindness It's enough to fill every void in our lives and I praise you God because your

mercy is more than enough your mercy is always available and never ending it covers a multitude of sins for this Lord we are ever grateful and I pray for anyone struggling with fear in their lives anyone who may be wrestling with doubt May the Holy Ghost move into their lives and remove every spirit that stands against the word of God May the holy Spirit sweep away every negative thought or voice that stands against the word of God I pray that the Holy Spirit would keep us anchored in the word of God keep us rooted in

scripture father cast out all our worries all our fears and every doubt in Joshua 1:9 the word of God says have I not commanded you be strong and courageous do not not be afraid do not be discouraged for the Lord your God will be with you wherever you Go as your children father we will not fear because you are with us you are the god of Abraham Isaac and Jacob a God who has never lost a battle and so father we are only strong and courageous because you are on our side Lord help us not

to be overwhelmed by the trials of this life father be glorified and be praised forever more it's in Jesus name I pray amen if you need Wisdom ask our generous God and he will give it to you he will not rebuke you for asking but when you ask him be sure that your faith is in God alone do not waver for a person with divided loyalty is as unsettled as a wave of the sea that is blown and tossed by the wind such people should not expect to receive anything from the Lord their loyalty is

divided between God and the world and they are unstable and everything they do what do you do when you're sitting Across from the doctor and the report isn't good what do you do when you look at your bank statement you look at your bills and the numbers just don't add up what do you do when life hits you with the unexpected when life hits you hard and catches you on your Blind Side if there's one thing that you should know and expect it's that the reality of Life can sometimes be Earth Shattering and harsh and

perhaps you may not be able to turn your situation around immediately but I pray that my words today will plant seeds of faith in your spirit don't don't be discouraged by what you see don't be discouraged by what you hear your life is in God's hands and that's something you should actually tell yourself every once in a while my life is in God's hands your Health may not be where you want it to be but I encourage you to do all that you can and ask God to meet you halfway your dream may seem like

it's no longer possible but I encourage you to continue pursuing God whether or not you become a doctor whether or not you become an attorney or Pilot don't remove God from his throne in your life all because you're disappointed God Is Bigger Than That which comes against You and if the fight intensifies your own thoughts become Negative they start telling you that this situation is permanent this result is permanent don't be discouraged even though it looks hopeless the word of God says joy comes in the morning to everything there is a season so this too

shall pass don't be moved by what you see in the natural eye but rely on the word of God that you know the word that says God is good a stronghold in the day of trouble focus on that instead of what's disappointed you the word that says you are my Hiding Place and my shield it says I will look to the Lord I will wait for the god of my salvation my God will hear me your life is in God's hands your future is in God's hands if life hits you and you fall Wouldn't it

be better to fall into the Loving Arms of Jesus Christ than anywhere else so don't be defined by a diagnosis don't be defined by the numbers in your bank account I've had to talk to myself and remind myself that I have a Creator who has a plan and God's plan will still Prevail God's will will still be done he has ordered my steps and so I am Not alone my beginning and my end is known by him my highs and your lows are known by him and I will walk by faith and not by sight

believing that the Lord has numbered my good days to exceed my bad days so get to the point where you are content and at peace to say Lord my life is in your hands you have said be anxious for nothing you have said that you know the Number of hairs on my head and so I Surrender and yield to your will
