Futai was left shocked and confused. He explained that such people awaken suddenly, either at a certain stage of life or under intense external stimulation. In simple terms, they forcefully break the genetic lock. And Zeon had clearly met all the conditions. She drove the pipe into the wolf monster's head, blood spraying Everywhere. Realizing she had actually done it, she burst into laughter, exhilarated by her strength. Moments later,

At first, using her fire abilities caused the marks to Appear on her palms. Then, they spread to her hands. her arms and

even her back. Chu once held her hand and told her to wait. He said that after a short time, the fire marks would fade and she would be able to control fire again. She asked what would happen if she continued using her fire while her body was already covered in marks. Chu told her that once the fire marks reached her heart, she would die. Even though her body had a natural affinity for fire, it Couldn't negate the negative effects caused by the equipment. He reminded her to protect herself and never take unnecessary risks. But in

A massive red symbol suddenly appeared in the sky, glowing intensely and releasing razor-sharp energy in every direction. It felt as though something ancient and terrifying had just awakened. Lang Yu gagged, overwhelmed by the pressure. She also started coughing blood. Junkian coughed up blood, too. She realized she couldn't even look at it directly. The monster stood at top a building bathed in a massive beam of crimson light that Shot straight into the sky. Yuko quickly put

on her mask and activated divine gaze. She examined it closely. It was a wolf-headed demon, its red eyes calm yet merciless. A crimson mark glowed on its forehead. Its expression was composed, too composed, like it already knew no one there could threaten it. Yuko warned them not to look at it directly. The creature emitted emperor level pressure. Anyone who approached it without fear would have their internal organs crushed Instantly. That explains the damage these girls received just by feeling the presence of the monster. This monster was the slaughtering horned demon, a seven-star emperor. The realization

stunned them all. How could three and four-star evolvers like them possibly face something like this? Its power exceeded theirs by a full three orders of magnitude. Under normal circumstances, dealing with a seven-star emperor would require something on the Level of a tactical nuclear weapon. Even if they experienced a qualitative leap in strength, it wouldn't matter. They still wouldn't stand a chance. The only person capable of handling a sevenstar emperor was Chu. But Chu wasn't there. Zeon stood in the middle of the ruined street, smoke rising around her, facing it head-on without backing away. She Declared that she would not allow it to take even one step into the Hong Fu family residence. Fuai screamed at his

useless bodyguards to stop her. He promised them 2 million if they dragged her back. He even said he would pay whatever they asked. The guard shouted back that for 10 million they would stake their lives to seize the young miss. They rolled forward in military tanks, charging straight toward Zeon. At the same time, Zeon rushed toward the Monster. One bodyguard in a suit and sunglasses screamed as he fired a heavy launcher. The slaughteringhorned demon calmly gathered energy in its palm. A beam shot out and pierced straight through the bodyguard. The rest froze in terror. They

kept firing anyway, but the slaughtering horn demon formed a magic circle above them. In an instant, it felt as if their souls were ripped out all at once. Then it turned its gaze toward the tank. Chengian witnessed Everything, her heart pounding with shock and fear. Zeon stood frozen. They received the information. Finger of death had been activated. Against it, low-level evolvers would be instantly killed by the slaughtering horn demon. The voice explaining this was Yukos transmitted through heart speech. When Chungan tried to respond, Yuko silenced her. She explained that even without speaking, she could send

information directly into their consciousness and Read their thoughts. From now on, everyone was to follow her commands and retreat at the slowest possible speed. Zeon questioned her. Was that really all they could do? If they encountered a monster they couldn't defeat, should they just turn around and flee? She refused to accept that because she no longer had any path of retreat. Suddenly, the monster was struck in the face. Zeon had thrown the pipe. The impact drew the demon's attention. She Screamed at the stupid deer-headed bastard, daring it to come at her. The slaughtering horned demon

prepared to strike Zeon. Yuko noticed immediately. Power gathered at the tip of its finger. The pressure crushed down on Zeon, making it hard for her to breathe. Her body was being dragged toward the monster. Just as it was about to release its attack, Futai screamed his daughter's name. Yuko knew it was already too late. That was the finger of Death. No one should have been able to stop it. But then someone beside her moved. It was Lung Yu. She slashed forward and severed the monster's arm. Zeon coughed up blood midair and slammed into the ground

with a heavy crash. She immediately lost consciousness. Then Chian formed a blazing fireball between her palms. In that instant, she understood. Zean was right. Chu's home was behind them. He had entrusted them with the mountain villa fortress. She Would not allow this monster to destroy it. She hurled the massive fireball straight at its face. Lang Yu seized the opening. She cut across the monster's neck. After landing, she steadied herself and assessed the damage. Yuko stared in disbelief. Lang Yu had injured a sevenstar emperor with only three star power. It made no sense. She activated her

eyes and immediately saw the reason. The problem wasn't Lung Yu. It was the blade. Hidden dragon. It was unnaturally Sharp. Yuko wondered if it was the result of some special enhancement. She recalled the past. Chu once told Lung Yu that with his physical strength, even a blade 100 times sharper striking him at full force wouldn't leave a scratch. Yet, he still asked her to cut him using her small knife. And there it is. Lung Yus knife was able to cut our MC's finger. She apologized, thinking she had hurt him. Chu said it was fine. He

explained that he only wanted to show Her how terrifying her ability truly was. As long as she held a weapon, she always had a chance to win. She had been left speechless. And now, in this moment, Lang Yu understood. As long as the blade remained in her hand, even a god wouldn't be able to take her down easily. Yuko finally realized the truth. Lyu's ability looked like simple weapon enhancement, but it wasn't. It was a rare rule severing ability. It cut through all defenses. Every slash dealt True damage. She slashed the monster's knee. Then she

cut down its arm. But the situation was still dire. The slaughtering horned demon's wounded body was regenerating at a terrifying speed. Chiankan said they would find out whether it could regenerate faster than it could be burned. Flames surged and wrapped around the monster. She kept attacking even as the fire mark spread across her body. The monster shifted its focus and locked onto her. Lung Yu Shouted a warning. Tian tracked its movements closely. its path. She landed safely. Smoke rolled across the battlefield from the impact. Her heart skipped when she glanced to the side. The monster's finger was pointed straight at her. She knew if it fired, this would be the end. The monster Lunged at Xianqin. Zeon, barely conscious, saw her falling. In that moment, she thought it was all over. She remembered the time she delivered things to Chew at the most ridiculous hours back then. He told her that if she ever needed a favor, she should just say it. She replied that she had no demands. She just

thought he was nice and she wanted to woo him. He told her that he already had a girlfriend. She said it didn't matter. She added that she would still Woo him even if his private life was a mess. He warned her that he would sue her for slander if she said that again. She asked if he knew what she liked about him. He said he wanted to know so he could change it immediately. She replied that it was because he was a very brave person. He never feared the uncertainty of the future. He shaped the

world into what he wanted. He realized that she seemed to know him well. He asked why someone like him was worth Liking when he was self-centered and had an annoying personality. She answered that this was exactly what she saw and that was where he shined the brightest. It made him think she was stupid. She asked if he had heard the saying that those illuminated by light dream of becoming light themselves. Because she met someone like him, she wanted the power to define her own future, too. There was a time when her father scolded her. She

was the daughter of the Huang Fu family, and they expected her to take over the family business. Yet, she was messing around, making her father lose face before their ancestors and her late mother. He wanted her to simply live as a rich Aerys. She firmly said no. She wanted the world to acknowledge that she had changed it, even if only for a second. She wanted to walk a path different from the one protected for her. She wanted to see what lay on the other side of the mountain. She wanted Him to admit that her life

wasn't worthless. Back to when she was talking to our MC Chu asked what she was trying to say, and she revealed that she didn't want to become his girlfriend, wife, or lover. Chu couldn't understand what she truly wanted. Blushing, she admitted that she wanted to be him. She called him an idiot for not understanding. She didn't want to woo him out of romance. She wanted to become like him and close the distance between them. The closer She drew to the sun, the brighter she shined. And now she could finally dream of possessing that blinding light

herself. Earlier on the battlefield, Yuko informed her that she had awakened life link, an ability that transfers damage from others to herself, and she warned her never to use it because it would kill her. In the present moment, she thought about how she now had the power to shine brilliantly, even if only for an instant. She activated life link on Chian. A green light wrapped around Chian's body. That light extended outward, connecting to her. Yuko saw everything. She was shocked that Zeon used her newly awakened ability. Life link transfers the target's damage directly to the

user's body. That meant the effect of the slaughtering horned demon's finger of death would be transferred to Zeon. The monster fired. The attack struck Chengyan, But the one who was injured was Zean. Blood spilled from her mouth. Her right chest burst open, bleeding heavily. As she fell, she thought about how she was once illuminated by the light and how she wanted to become that light, too. Her father called out her name. The link disappeared. As her consciousness faded, she felt relieved. She had shown her light for the first and last time. This sight broke heart.
