it was one of the quiet nights of Medina while Prophet Muhammad Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam was sleeping he saw a dream a dream so strong and so clear that when he woke up his face was shining with light in the dream he saw himself and his companions walking around the Ka'bah performing Umrah in the sacred land of Makkah their heads were shaved their hair was shortened they felt no fear at all they were in complete peace this was not an ordinary dream the dreams of prophets are like revelation they are glad tidings that will surely come
true a divine sign for six years they had been away from Mecca for six years they had burned with longing for the Kaaba and now this dream came and set that deep longing in their hearts on fire once again after the Fajr prayer Prophet Muhammad Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam gathered his companions oh believers Allah showed me a dream I saw us walking around the house of Allah the mosque was instantly filled with excitement this dream was a sign that Umrah would be performed a great feeling of preparation and joy spread through Medina but there was a
serious problem Makkah was still hostile Quraysh was still full of anger the Muslims had been expelled from this city years ago the polytheists of Makkah had sworn for years to kill the companions entering enemy land without weapons without Protection and only with the intention of worship was extremely dangerous they took with them only travel swords there was no armour there was no army formation this was a scene with no equal in history a march of faith into enemy land without weapons this was the will of Allah the dream would come true but how it would
come true was not yet known Prophet Muhammad Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam mounted his camel named Kaswa with him were Abu Bakr Umar Usman Ali and many other companions young and old rich and poor all together around 1400 people set out wearing ihram leaving Medina behind them when the news reached Mecca Quraysh panicked they are coming with an army from Medina they said this is a trap they said but those who were coming were wearing ihram they could not fight still Quraysh refused to accept this because this march was breaking Mecca's psychological control roads were blocked patrols
were sent as the Muslims got closer to Makka the tension increased and the caravan was stopped at a place called huudaybiyah a few kilometers from Makka permission to enter Makka was not given this place was a bare valley one day away from Makka its well was dry there was no water around 14 people and hundreds of camels were suffering badly from thirst the companions looked at the Prophet Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam with worry he took an arrow and gave it to one of them and it was placed at the bottom of the well by the permission
of Allah water will come out from here he said and the miracle happened when the arrow was removed water began to flow from the bottom of the well first drop by drop then faster and then it became like a spring everyone drank and the camels were given water but at that very moment the camel of Prophet Muhammad Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam Qaswa suddenly knelt down and refused to stand up some people said Kaswa has become stubborn the Prophet Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam shook his head and said no Kaswa is not stubborn the one who stopped the elephant
from attacking Makkah is the same one who made her sit here they set up their camp where Kaswa stopped the polytheists of Makkah became even more anxious Muhammad and his companions were waiting at hudaybiyah neither moving forward nor returning Mekka began sending envoys each one saw the Muslim camp with their own eyes people in Ihram sacrificial camels and no preparation for war at all when Urwa the envoy of Makkah returned he said to Quraysh o my people I have seen the courts of Kisra Caesar and Najashi by Allah I have never seen any king whose
companions show him the respect that the companions of Muhammad show him when he performs wudu they almost fight over the water before it touches the ground when he speaks it becomes so silent that you could hear a pin drop they cannot even look directly at him out of respect they have brought you an offer accept it but Quraish re mained stubborn Muhammad cannot enter Mecca this year if the Arabs say Muhammad entered Mecca by force they will laugh at us they said then Muhammad Sallallahu Alayhi Wasallam made a final move he sent Usman Ra as
an envoy a man from the Umayyads one of the noblest families of Makkah known and respected by everyone go and tell them that we did not come for war we only want to visit and then return the Prophet Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam said uthman entered Mecca the polytheists welcomed him and said if you wish you may perform Tawaf uthman Uthman replied clearly I will not perform tawaf until the Messenger of Allah does the talks dragged on hours passed then days passed Uthman did not return on the third day a terrifying rumour spread through the camp Uthman
has been killed the companions froze killing an envoy meant war unavoidable war the door to peace seemed closed Muhammad Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam began to speak o believers if Quraysh has killed our envoy we will not leave this place either we will enter Makkah or we will all be martyred whoever pledges to fight with me until death let him come at that moment history reached a turning point one by one 1400 people came to the Prophet and placed their hands in his hand we will not turn back and we will not run away they said later
the Quran made this moment eternal Allah was pleased with the believers when they pledged allegiance to you under the tree he knew what was in their hearts and sent down calmness upon them Farth 18 the camp was silent like the silence of death everyone had begun to prepare for battle small swords were taken out of their sheaths this was now self defense at that very moment a cloud of dust appeared on the horizon someone was coming as the figure came closer cries of Joy rose Usman Usman he was alive Quraish had not killed him but
they had detained him now they had released him and he came with a message Quraish wants peace they are ready to negotiate Othman had returned but the peace talks were still continuing one night the moon had not risen the darkness was so deep that a person could not see even three steps ahead the companions were sitting quietly around the fires some were half asleep others were standing guard near midnight there was a rustling sound in the darkness then another then 10 20 80 an assassination team of 80 men their faces covered was approaching the Muslim
camp they were specially chosen fighters from Quraish their mission was clear to kill Muhammad Sallallahu Alayhi Wasallam only one target they would come silently in the dark finish the task and disappear but Allah was of course protecting him a companion on guard noticed unusual movement the alarm was raised in a moment the entire camp was awake the attackers were surrounded overpowered and forced to the ground their hands were tied the covers were removed from their faces they were all Quraishi the companions were burning with anger as dawn broke the captives were brought before the Messenger
of Allah young companions were shouting o Messenger of Allah they attacked us in the month of Dul Qadah they tried to assassinate in the Haram area we came for worship and they came to kill us oh Messenger of Allah let us kill them send them back to Quraysh as a message Umar's hand was on the handle of his sword he was gripping it tightly the veins in his neck were swollen his eyes were like fire but he was waiting waiting for the command of the Messenger of Allah the Messenger of Allah Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam looked
at the angry companions then he looked at the captives then he gave his command release them there was silence no one could believe it oh Messenger of Allah but they came to kill us I said release them take their weapons their horses and their equipment send them back to Quraysh the companions objected begged and tried to reason but the Messenger of Allah was firm in the end his order was obeyed the 80 assassins without weapons without horses full of shame began walking back toward Mecca the hearts of the companions were bleeding this was the third
great emotional shock why someone asked inside himself why are we not using our right why are we not defending ourselves why do we look so weak they did not know the answer but the allies of Quraysh did because as those 80 assassins were returning to Makkah they passed by other Arab tribes along the way and everyone saw them the chosen warriors of Quraysh returning in shame without weapons forgiven by the Muslims the Arab tribes began to whisper what is Quraysh doing they attack in the sacred month and then they fail that morning Quraysh was in
panic they had attacked twice and failed twice and the Muslims had entered the Haram area diplomatically they were now in a very difficult position now it was time to send another envoy they sent Budai the leader of the Kuza tribe he mounted his horse and came to the Muslim camp he was a proud and arrogant man when he entered the tent of the Messenger of Allah he acted deliberately disrespectful oh Muhammad he said in a harsh voice Quraysh is preparing they are putting on their heaviest armour they are wearing lion skins in Arab culture this
was the sign of a fight to the death wearing lion skins meant you were not coming back they are also bringing their women and children to the battlefield when the companions heard this their hearts trembled this was the most brutal war tactic Arabs would place their women and children behind the army as a barrier if fighters tried to retreat they would see their families behind them and would not dare to flee this tactic meant either victory or death Budai continued you should take your men and go back otherwise Quraysh will destroy you the reply of
the Messenger of Allah Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam was calm and clear the people of Makkah do not have to see us if they wish they can stay on the hills we will perform tawaf of the Kaaba and then leave but if they do not accept this condition he pointed to his blessed neck I will fight them until this is cut Budai looked into the eyes of the Messenger of Allah he saw that determination he saw that deep faith then he turned and examined the Muslim camp he saw the clothes of the companions the sacrificial animals and
the ihram garments when he returned to Quraysh he was clear just like the previous invoices they came only for worship they have no intention of war allow them the Quraysh became angry did you also become afraid Buday stood up and his voice echoed through the council if you fight the Muslims the Khuzar tribe will not stand with you then he left Quraish had lost one ally without the Muslims swinging a single sword Urwa one of the envoys had also left in anger earlier he was actually representing Taif so two allies were now gone the third
envoy was Hulis the leader of the Kinana tribe he observed the Muslims they were making dua when he heard their prayers his heart softened he returned to Mecca without saying anything on the way and then he said they came only for worship if you stop them you will break all Arab traditions and the Kinana tribe will leave you I will also speak to other tribes and separate them from you the third ally was gone Quraish was now alone the Muslims had not fought at all yet Quraish had lost three allies and finally the last envoy
of the Makkan polytheists arrived Suhayl bin Amr he had come to make a treaty and the terms of this treaty would cause the greatest emotional pain the companions had ever felt Suhail bin Amir got down from his horse he was Quraish's most skilled diplomat intelligent sharp and ruthless with the look of victory on his face he entered the tent of the Messenger of Allah they sat facing each other suhayl went straight to the point o Muhammad let us make an agreement there will be peace between us but I have conditions Suhail began to list the
terms and each term cut deeply into the hearts of the companions first you will not enter the kabah this year then he continued coldly you may come next year you will stay only three days then you will leave the second condition was even more painful if someone from Makkah becomes Muslim and comes to you you will return him to us but if one of your people leaves your religion and comes to us we will not return him the third condition there will be peace between us for 10 years no fighting the fourth condition anyone may
form an alliance with any tribe they wish when suhayl finished the anger of the companions reached its peak the answer of the Messenger of Allah sallallahu alaihi wasallam was simple I do not do anything that Allah is not pleased with I will sign this agreement the companions were shocked even Abu Bakr was silent Ali's face turned pale Uthman lowered his head only Umar resisted inside his eyes were filled with tears whether from anger or sorrow no one could tell but he did not raise his voice he knew the decision had been made the Messenger of
Allah turned to Ali o Ali come write the agreement the terms were written then they reached the signing line this agreement is between the Quraysh tribe and Muhammad Rasulullah stop suhayl said we do not accept you as rasulullah if we did we would not be fighting you write this instead Muhammad bin Abdullah the Messenger of Allah said o Ali erase Rasulullah write Muhammad bin Abdullah Ali dropped the pen oh Messenger of Allah I cannot erase rasulullah I cannot do it silence the Messenger of Allah said calmly show me where it is Ali showed him the
Messenger of Allah who did not read or write erased the word rasulullah with his blessed hand Ali crying wrote Muhammad bin Abdullah the companions could no longer speak the anger sadness and helplessness inside them had grown too heavy this was the fourth great emotional breaking point just as the signatures were about to be placed a scream was heard from a distance a man was coming chained bleeding being dragged Abu Jandal the son of Suhayl bin Amr for four years he had been tortured in his father's prison for becoming Muslim when he heard that the Muslims
were at hudaybiyyah he found a chance and escaped now he threw himself at the feet of the Messenger of Allah o Messenger of Allah save me I have been tortured for four years I have suffered every kind of pain take me with you all right o Abu Jandal go back with your father said the Messenger of Allah then the Messenger of Allah continued be patient o Abu Jandal Allah will surely make a way out for you Abu Jandal was dragged away again still in chains and at last an agreement that would go down in history
was signed the treaty of hudaybiyyah at first glance its terms seemed to be against the Muslims this was the hardest moment because that day many companions felt deep disappointment they had come so close to the Khabar just like in the dream but now they would not be allowed to enter Mecca that day this agreement which looked very negative became a test for the companions before the ink on the agreement had even dried the first objections came it was Umar's voice it rose like a sword cutting through the darkness o Messenger of Allah are we not
upon the truth are they not upon falsehood he said yes o Umar are we not honorable are they not humiliated yes o Umar are you not the Messenger of Allah yes o Umar oh Umar then why are we signing this bad agreement he said everyone was waiting for the answer of the Messenger of Allah as if when that answer came hearts would finally settle because the terms of the agreement were so heavy that to anyone watching from the outside it looked like the Muslims stepped back and at the exact moment of signing being forced to
return Abu Jandal who came dragging his chains was the sharpest pain in the hearts of the companions the Messenger of Allah Sallallahu alaihi wasallam remained calm but calmness is sometimes the very center of the storm he said I do not do anything that Allah is not pleased with at that very moment something happened in the darkness of the road revelation came this is the exact breaking point that Tafsir focuses on while the human mind read that moment as we lost the Quran named the same moment as victory what appeared to be a retreat on the
surface was in reality the key to much greater doors hudaybiyah was not the place where war ended but the place where a different kind of victory began suddenly the face of the Messenger of Allah Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam lit up it was as if the sadness that had just been placed on his shoulders was lifted by an unseen hand and the first verse of Surah al Fath came down like a seal upon that journey Fath verse 1 indeed we have given you a clear victory Tafseer especially emphasizes the words clear victory on that day the human
eye could not see it clearly even the companions could not see it but in the sight of Allah the result was completely clear hudaybiyah was a turning point where the political existence of the Muslims was officially recognized for the first time this agreement carved one clear idea into the mind of the Arabian Peninsula the Muslims are now aside and as soon as this ground was prepared the Quran's spiritual sword began to move toward hearts at that moment the second verse of Surah al Fath was revealed so that Allah may forgive your past and future sins
complete his favour upon you and guide you on a straight path this verse opened like a door but not a door opening outward a door opening inward after saying we gave you victory Allah immediately speaks of forgiveness blessing and guidance this shows that right after victory comes spiritual results this leads to one clear thought the side of hudaybiyah that looked like defeat was actually a stage of purification for something much greater the material sword was temporarily returned to its sheath but the diamond sword of the Quran was drawn not the sword of steel but the
sword of truth then verse 3 continued and that Allah may help you with a mighty victory the phrase Nazran Aziza in the original verse refers to a help that is unshakable and cannot be stopped by anyone the emotional collapse the Muslims felt at hudaybiyyah was repaired by this verse Tafsir says true help does not come from large armies but from the calmness Allah places in hearts and his unseen support while the polytheists thought they had won Allah was saying no the real victory is beginning now and at this point Tafsir highlights something important people think
more in peace than in war where swords do not clash the voice of truth is heard more clearly as soon as they returned to Medina the Messenger of Allah arranged his envoys letters were sent to Byzantium Persia and Abyssinia the message we are here now spread to the world and the most striking part was this when these verses were revealed the companions had not yet conquered keibar they had not yet conquered Makka they had not yet performed tawaf without fear but the Quran placed all of this into a single sentence we have given you a
strong help this means the help was given before the events the events were only the appearance of that help on the stage of history that is why Surah al Fath is full of tension because what the mind sees and what revelation sees are not the same the companions were walking but in reality the direction of history was changing verse 4 says it is he who sent down Sakin into the hearts of the believers so that they may increase in faith upon their faith the armies of the heavens and the earth belong to Allah Allah is
all knowing all wise here we must pause the word sekinah this is not simple calmness it is like a divine weight placed on top of fear a state of safety placed over shaking questions in the heart at hudaybiyah what the companions needed was not a cry of victory but a calm that could keep the hearts standing anger was rising rebellion was close the questions Umar asked with his tongue were actually echoing in everyone's heart and at that exact moment Allah sent down Sakin into their hearts this is how the heaviest terms of the agreement could
be signed so faith was strengthened exactly where the mind could not understand it was as if the verse was saying your minds cannot carry this weight so I am sending support to your hearts then comes a striking phrase so that they may increase in faith upon their faith and the verse continues with a reminder the armies of the heavens and the earth belong to Allah meaning all armies on earth whether friend or enemy are under Allah's control Allah creates one cause and all of them can be defeated and not only what you see even the
unseen causes are under Allah's control you are busy with the visible front but on the unseen fronts movement has already begun then verse 5 explains why this calm was sent down so that he may admit believing men and believing women into gardens beneath which rivers flow to remain there forever and remove their bad deeds from them that is a great success in the sight of Allah this verse lifts the companion's view upward because at hudaybiyyah everyone was looking down at the terms of the agreement at the road back at not being able to enter the
ka'bah but Allah was lifting their gaze to the hereafter it was as if the verse was saying what you are living through is not only a political process this is connected to your eternal destiny so those who were patient at huudaybiyah those who swallowed their anger those who stood behind the Messenger of Allah they were not only signing an agreement they were signing a great salvation Tafsir says this hudaibia is the clearest scene where the bond between patience and faith is revealed hands that did not hold swords Learned how to hold the heart months passed
after hudaybiyah strange things began to happen Muslims started escaping from Makkah according to the treaty they had to be returned but the Messenger of Allah found a solution he said we will not take them into Medina let them stay around Mecca technically they did not seek refuge with us so the Muslims formed a base around Mecca and they began to control the Quraysh trade caravans Quraish trade almost came to a stop Quraish came and begged oh Muhammad remove that part of the treaty take the Muslims with you but stop them from attacking our caravans now
the polytheists and the Muslims were meeting peacefully before they only met on battlefields now they met in markets caravans and cities the polytheists saw the Muslims they saw how they prayed they saw how they helped one another they saw how just they were and they saw the beauty of Islam the Messenger of Allah received prophethood in 610 until 628 Eighteen years had passed in those 18 years the number of people who became Muslim was about 3,000 the treaty of hudaybiyyah was signed in 628 Mecca was conquered in 630 Only two years passed between them in
those two years about 7,000 people became Muslim eighteen years 3,000 two years 7,000 this was the real victory six months later Khalid bin Walid came the same Khalid who defeated the Muslims at Uhud the same Khalid who tried to stop the Muslims at hudaybiyah with 200 horsemen now he was coming to Medina to become Muslim when he entered the presence of the Messenger of Allah he knelt down and said I shall do and LA ilaha illallah and I shall do and Muhammad Rasulullah the companions were crying because this showed that Khalid came not with his
sword but with his heart Amir bin as also became Muslim the same Amir who was a symbol of political genius now he had accepted Islam they did not become Muslim by force of the sword they became Muslim willingly in a time of peace the Messenger of Allah said if hudaybiyah had not happened these people would never have become Muslim two months after returning to Medina one evening the Messenger of Allah gathered his companions in his hand were the final verses of Surah al Fath he recited to them indeed Allah has surely fulfilled for his messenger
the vision in truth you will certainly enter Al Masjid al Haram if Allah wills in safety with your heads shaved or your hair shortened without fear Allah knew what you did not know and he granted before that a near victory Surah al Fath verse 27 Umar was listening when the verse ended he asked o Messenger of Allah what does this verse say the Messenger of Allah explained Allah says the dream I saw was true you will enter al Masjid al Haram you will enter in safety you will shave your heads or shorten your hair you
will enter without fear the companions were silent because they had not yet entered Mecca only two months had passed since hudaybiyyah the wounds were still fresh the Messenger of Allah continued but pay attention what does the verse say Allah knew what you did not know you did not know but Allah knew you could not see what would happen at hudaybiyyah or what kind of door of victory would open but Allah could see it still questions remained in the minds of the companions so when will we enter Mecca when will we make Tawaf of the Kaaba
the Messenger of Allah smiled and said soon very soon this verse was the first great miracle in Surah al Fath news about the future it spoke clearly about an event that had not yet happened two years before it would happen think about it it is the year 628 you still cannot enter Maka you turned back only 20 km away you signed a humiliating agreement your morale is broken your future looks dark and at such a moment a verse comes and says you will enter there you will enter in safety you will enter without fear you
will shave your head how bold was this claim the Quran speaks by seeing two years ahead it speaks as if the event has already happened it says you will enter not as a weak hope but as a firm promise that night Umar could not sleep he was thinking in his tent if this verse comes true and it will because it is the word of Allah then hudaybiyah truly was a victory that means we could not see it but Allah could the next morning the Messenger of Allah recited the next verse it is he who sent
his messenger with guidance and the true religion so that he may make it superior over all religions and Allah is sufficient as a witness Surah al Fath verse 28 when the companions heard this verse they were surprised what does superior over all religions mean the Messenger of Allah explained Allah says I did not send you only to conquer Makkah I sent you to the whole world Islam will become superior to all religions some may have thought oh Messenger of Allah right now we are weak we could not even take Makkah how will we become superior
to all religions but Allah knew and saw centuries ahead Islam will spread in the Arabian Peninsula in sham in Iraq in Egypt in Iran in Africa in Europe in America Muslims will be everywhere the companions listened in amazement under the conditions of that time how unbelievable this sounded think about it the Muslims did not even control Arabia yet to the north was the Byzantine Empire one of the strongest powers in the world to the east was the Persian Empire the other superpower and this small Muslim community standing between two giant empires was saying we will
be superior to all religions it looked impossible but the Quran was saying it so Hudaibia was not just an agreement it was a key a key to which doors first the door of political recognition the Muslims were now officially recognized they could make agreements send envoys and build diplomatic relations second the door of peace 10 years of peace gave the Muslims time to breathe time to build strength economy and organization third the door of hearts polytheists and Muslims now met in daily life they traded talked and lived side by side and the polytheists saw the
beauty of Islam fourth the door of alliances because of the clause anyone may ally with anyone they wish Arab tribes began to ally with the Muslims that same afternoon news came the Huza tribe wanted to form an alliance with the Muslims the companions were happy our first alliance a week later another tribe came then another Umar came to the Messenger of Allah and said o Messenger of Allah now I understand hudaybiyah put the physical sword back into its sheath but it drew out the spiritual sword before we were fighting with swords and conquering land now
we are fighting with ideas we are conquering hearts yes oh Umar this is the real victory because land taken by the sword can be lost again but a person won by the heart is gained forever two years passed January of the year 630 Quraish attacked the Khuzar tribe which was allied with the Muslims by doing this they broke the treaty the Messenger of Allah gave the order prepare yourselves we are going to Mecca this time there were 10,000 Muslims in 18 years 3,000 people had become Muslim in the two years after hudaybiyyah another 7,000 had
become Muslim when they reached Makkah Abu Sufyan the leader of Quraish surrendered without bloodshed without battle Makkah was conquered the Messenger of Allah entered the Ka'bah he broke the idols he performed tawaf he shaved his head he offered his sacrifice exactly as he had seen in his dream exactly as the verse had promised in safety without fear Umar was crying Ali was crying Abu Bakr was crying because now they understood hudaybiyah truly was a victory the greatest victory Abu Bakr said there is no victory in Islam greater than hudaybiyah but the miracles were not over
because the verse had said so that he may make it superior over all religions and this promise was not limited to Arabia One week after the conquest of Makkah the Messenger of Allah gathered his companions again he recited the final verse of Surah al Fath Muhammad is the Messenger of Allah those who are with him are strong against the disbelievers and merciful among themselves you see them bowing and prostrating seeking Grace and pleasure from Allah their marks are on their faces from prostration this is their description in the Torah and their description in the gospel
is like a plant that sends out its shoot then strengthens it it becomes thick and stands firm on its stem pleasing the farmers so that he may anger the disbelievers through them Allah has promised forgiveness and a great reward to those among them who believe and do good deeds Fath verse 29 as the companions listened to this long verse they discovered a new depth in every sentence think of a seed it is planted in the ground at first a small and weak shoot appears no one notices it no one cares about it but with time
that shoot grows stronger becomes thicker grows bigger it spreads branches around itself in the end it becomes a strong crop this is exactly how the Muslims were at first they were a small group but what happened that small seed gave a shoot then it became strong now they were 10,000 and this was only the beginning Said Nursi explained this verse in this way this verse shows that after Hudaybiyyah Muslims would grow very fast just like a crop and this growth would not be only in numbers it would be growth in strength in quality and in
geography as well and this is exactly what happened what happened after the conquest of Mecca Taif was conquered Yemen became Muslim Bahrain became Muslim Oman became Muslim after the passing of Prophet Muhammad Sallallahu Alayhi Wasallam in the year 632 the entire Arabian Peninsula had become Muslim during the time of Abu Bakr starting in 632 campaigns began toward sham expeditions were sent to Iraq during the time of Umar starting in 634 Sham was conquered Jerusalem was conquered Egypt was conquered the Persian Empire collapsed The Byzantine Empire was reduced by half ten years in just 10 years
Muslims had brought two superpowers to their knees that small seed had now become a huge tree but the third great miracle in Surah al Fath was something else that day the Prophet also said to his companions this verse is not speaking only about you it is also speaking about future generations the companions were surprised how so o Messenger of Allah the verse says there are marks on their faces from prostration this is not only a physical Mark it is the Mark of faith every Muslim generation until the day of judgement will carry this Mark and
the verse says like a crop that sends out its shoot this means the growth does not stop with us it will continue in every generation Muslims will increase spread and grow Ali asked how far will it grow o Messenger of Allah the Prophet looked into the distance as if he was seeing centuries ahead from where the sun rises to where it sets Islam will reach that far and this is truly happening 100 years after the Prophet Muslims reached Andalusia an Islamic state was established in Spain North Africa fully entered Islam Muslims were present in Central
Asia the Caucasus and the Indian subcontinent later the Turks became Muslim after that Islam spread into Anatolia the Balkans and Eastern Europe then came the Mongols they tried to destroy Islam they burned Baghdad they destroyed the Abbasid state but in the end the Mongols also became Muslim Islam absorbed them as well later the Ottomans conquered Istanbul and reached the heart of Europe in later centuries in Southeast Asia in Indonesia and Malaysia millions of people became Muslim and in the 21st century Islam exists in every corner of the world around 2 billion Muslims nearly one quarter
of humanity that small seed that group of only four to five people in Mecca has now reached billions but in Surah al Fath there is an even deeper miracle the verse says this is their description in the Torah and their description in the gospel what does this mean the Messenger of Allah explained the earlier scriptures speak about us in the Torah it is written a prophet will come and companions will be with him in the gospel it is written they will grow like a crop yes the coming of the Prophet was announced to previous nations
but they denied it one night Umar ibn al Khattab made a dua oh Allah forgive me at hudaibia I doubted I could not understand your wisdom but now I see everything was part of your plan the next morning the Messenger of Allah said a hadith this hadith would be a message to future generations oh my companions you are the best generation the generation after you is also good and the generation after that is also good then he paused his face became sad then there will come generations who will swear without being asked to testify and
testify without being asked to swear they will betray faith will be weak excess luxury and showing off will appear among them the companions became afraid o Messenger of Allah will Islam disappear then he replied no Islam will continue until the day of judgement but there will be hardships there will be trials there will be divisions so what should we do stand firm hold tightly to the Quran and my Sunnah and know this after every hardship comes ease after every winter comes a spring that same afternoon news arrived the Byzantine Emperor Heraclius had received the letter
of the Messenger of Allah the letter said in the name of Allah the most merciful the most compassionate from Muhammad the servant and Messenger of Allah to Heraclius the ruler of Byzantium peace be upon the one who follows guidance I invite you to Islam accept Islam and you will be saved Allah will give you a double reward but if you turn away the sin of your people will be upon you when Heraclius read the letter he was shocked who is this Muhammad he asked in his palace was Abu Sufyan who was not yet Muslim at
that time he was brought before Heraclius Heraclius asked him what is this man's lineage noble has he ever been accused of lying no are his followers increasing or decreasing increasing do people leave his religion after entering it no does he lose in war sometimes he wins sometimes he loses Heraclius thought for a moment then he said this man is a prophet they will try to kill him but they will not succeed a day will come when he will rule the lands beneath my feet and that is exactly what happened ten years later sham fell Jerusalem
fell The Byzantine Empire lost half of its lands but on that day in the year 630 the companions did not know all of this yet they knew only one thing Sura al Fath had come true every verse every promise and most importantly the wisdom of hudaybiyyah was now understood Umar came to the Messenger of Allah and said oh Messenger of Allah I want to ask you something at hudaybiyyah that day when I argued with you why did you not get angry with me the Messenger of Allah smiled and said because behind your questions there was
no doubt o Umar there was passion you became angry for Allah you questioned for the religion there is no punishment for that there is reward Umar's eyes filled with tears Alhamdulillah Alhamdulillah o Messenger of Allah now I understand we are now harvesting the fruit of patience a victory that speaks to today the message of hudaybiyyah for the modern world hudaybiyyah was thought to be finished but in truth hudaybiyah was just beginning because no great event mentioned in the Quran is only for the time it happened hudaybiyah is the same that day tents were taken down
camels returned to Medina and the treaty text was closed but the language of the test stayed open until the day of judgement hudaybiyah revealed three types of people and these three types still exist today one those who show loyalty before results appear these are the ones who came under the tree there was no booty no guarantee of victory no promise of survival they said only one thing wherever the Messenger of Allah is we are there today this attitude looks like this defending what is right before seeing the result staying on the right path when there
is no applause not giving up morals when there is no gain Surah al Fath says to these people you are not losing you are only in a delayed gain 2 those who wait for developments those who did not come to hudaybiyyah but appeared when news of Khaybar arrived today this type says let's wait and see what happens let the winning side become clear then we will speak stand on the right side without taking risks Sura al Fath is strict with this group because the Quran teaches this the right side is not known by the result
but by the stance 3 those who think badly of Allah in hard times this was the most dangerous group at Hudaibia they did not deny openly but inside they said this will not end well Allah will not help a wrong path was chosen do these words sound familiar today this morality does not work in this age you cannot reach anything with this much patience if we were harder we would win Sura al Fath rejects this thinking completely because the core of hudaibia is this Allah's plan does not look like human impatience five main messages of
Surah al Fath for today not every step back is defeat sometimes stepping back opens a bigger front victory starts in the heart first without Sakina doors do not open what Allah delays is not cancelled a dream may be postponed but it is not denied being right is not enough timing matters this is the secret of hudaibia the greatest victory is winning people not land but hearts if hudaybiyyah happened today maybe social media would say this agreement is a disgrace this leader is weak this much patience is too much but two years later the same people
would say it was obvious from the start it was actually strategic Surah al Fath explains this delayed understanding Allah does not make the truth easy for everyone to understand immediately because the test is to stay loyal to the truth before it is clearly understood Udhiyah leaves us with this message patience is not weakness patience is knowing when to act and when to wait and Surah al Fath whispers this if you are on the truth even if doors close the path does not end if you want in the next section we can talk about why Surah
al Fath is read especially in hard times the hidden link between Surah an nassr and Surah al Fath the meaning bridge between Hudaibiyah and Jerusalem the virtues wisdom and when how to read Surah al Fath some suras speak not to easy times but to hard times Surah al Fatih is exactly such a surah when a person is comfortable they talk about victory but when they are stuck waiting treated unfairly and the road looks closed that is when Surah al Fatih is read because surah al Fath is the surah of doors that have not opened yet
the surah of victories not yet won but promised the surah of wisdom not yet understood but later revealed it is not a coincidence that it was revealed at hudaybiyyah this surah was revealed at the moment when people felt defeated Sura al Fath is not a result sura it is a process sura when this sura was revealed the companions were sad they could not enter Makka the treaty looked against the Muslims the dream had not yet come true victory could not be seen so everything looked discouraging but the sura began with these words indeed we have
given you a clear victory this beginning goes against human psychology because a person thinks if there is victory why am I in this situation this is exactly where Surah al Fath steps in in hard times the biggest problem for a person is this reading what is happening in the wrong way Sura al Fatih teaches you this what you are living now is not the result itself it is the lock of the door that leads to the result that is why people turn to Surah al Fath when they feel overwhelmed face injustice are forced to be
patient have to step back see what they are waiting for delayed because this Surah whispers stepping back is not losing two the spiritual virtues of Surah al Fath about Surah al Fath the Prophet Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam said tonight a surah was revealed to me that is more beloved to me than everything the sun rises over then the Messenger of Allah recited Surah al Fath Bukhari it brings Sekinah to the heart general Protection whoever reads it once a day is protected from many harms if Surah al Fath is written and placed on the door of a
shop or business and it is read once every day the blessing and well being of that place increase some of the people of knowledge said whoever continues to read this Surah every night may see in a dream that they are giving by a pledge to the Messenger of Allah if a weak person reads this surah often they become stronger if a person in difficulty reads it Allah makes their matters easier if a person in debt reads it many times Allah opens a way for them to pay their debt this surah is also read to reach
a desired goal the way is as follows it is read 21 or 41 times within three days or the same number can be completed within three five or seven days relief from hardship it is recommended to read it in voluntary prayer on Friday night victory and strength it may be read after the Fajr prayer to seek victory in times of struggle special days it is recommended to read it three times on special days such as the first day of Ramadan when this surah is read panic decreases anger softens the feeling of haste breaks the thought
everything is over disappears that is why surah al Fath is read before big decisions in the face of injustice during long and patient processes to gather and strengthen the heart Surah al Fatih is a key read in front of closed doors but it does not force the door open it teaches why the door is closed and reminds you to wait for the right time for it to open victories are not one in one night they are a process and it reminds you of this if you are on the truth delay is not cancellation this story
is the story of a great betrayal and a great danger the Prophet Sallallahu Alayhi Wasallam and the companions set out with the intention of Hajj Muhammad is coming with 14 men we will not let them enter Mecca we will become their nightmare I will finish him tonight Meccan cavalry units blocked their way they were stopped in a desert with dry wells and even worse one night a major trap was set in the darkness of the desert while they sleep we will become their nightmare with my best 80 men tonight I will finish him an assassination
team of 80 men was sent against the Prophet what you hear is not only the background of Surah al Fath this is a real and dangerous story full of tension in every moment on one side so called peace talks on the other side dark plans and hidden traps but the Quran says Allah is the best of planners and after all these events this sentence came down from the sky a clear victory you are on religious story TV we continue our Islamic history series to not miss these videos subscribe to the channel like the video and
