hey what's going on guys uh welcome back to the channel so today i have Ejon with me hi guys my instagram is @ejonjohnson, @ejonjohnson definitely check her out and you're how tall about 5 10. she's 5 10. so what i want to do today is i want to walk you guys through some facial expressions and facial poses so you guys can do and this comes in handy when you're doing your um fashion portraits you're doing that close-up shot it also comes in handy when you're doing beauty photo shoots as well because it's all about the
face the skin and all of that so i want to walk you guys through a couple of expressions and poses so let's get to it all right guys so when you're doing facial poses right there are pretty much four types of expressions that you guys can do um the first type of expression i'm gonna call it um fierce right so fierce to be fierce just think about like you know you're full of confidence you know have that attitude and just kind of show that in your face and one thing you can do is to kind
of bite down and clench your jaws as much as possible and look directly to the camera clench your jaw and then while you're holding this expression you can also cheat your face towards the light source the light source is on her left hand side and then keep your face there but eyes back to the camera another thing you can do is to frame your face with your hands so think about doing something like this you know but keeping it fierce like bold bossy tough attitude here we go so the other expression you can do is
sort of like um almost like a sultry um almost seductive like you're seducing the camera and um you know this this type of look comes in handy when you're wearing something that makes you feel bold and confident and seductive if you will so with this it's more like squint you can squint your eyes you can part your lips open as if you have a mint in your tongue and you're feeling like the the minty fresh breath and then you can play with the positioning of your head so move from like look towards the light source
keep your face there put eyes back to the camera you can tilt your head back up and look down you can look away you don't always have to look at the camera bring it back to the camera and then just play with variations of that so you can look down there we go so this is more of your sultry kind of facial expression and again another thing you can do you can frame your face with your hands like john is doing in this picture there we go if you have your hair down you can like
pull your hair back and pose in that perfect great boom another expression that you guys can do is the smize right the Tyra Banks smize and for those of you guys that don't know how to smize here's how you smize so look directly to the camera and give me a big smile hold that hold that facial expression hold your muscles tight now close uh slowly close your lips keep it closed but eyes are still smiling and just think happy thoughts so that's how you smile and this works for um commercial shoots uh very well so
again play around with it play around with your head positioning look towards the light source chin up chin down face away eyes back to the camera and one thing to keep in mind here as you guys can see um as Ejon is doing you want to be mindful of your chin position because if your chin is too far down it may look like you have a double chin so it's always great to keep your chin high and keep your face cheated towards a light source and again you can always frame your face in that facial
expression with your hands as john is doing in this picture so these are some simple ways that you guys can pose your face and get some different facial expressions for your photo shoot so again let's quickly see that again give me a fierce look frame it looking away be fierce be tough chin up now give me a sultry look perfect and now give me a smize awesome so definitely practice this at home it takes a couple of practices to get it right um but these are just some general guidelines again thank you Ejon i'm going
