how many people do you know that wake up at 5 a. m willingly because i literally don't know anybody but for some reason i decided to challenge myself to wake up about 5 a. m for an entire week [Music] this is not going to be easy it's only 12 15 so i'm not going to be getting much sleep tonight but tomorrow morning bright and early 5 a.
m i'm actually really scared look at me i just took a solid 17 minutes to mentally prepare waking up but i'm up and it's it's 5 17. i feel like i can't even open my eyes i feel dead i feel weak and i'm just so comfortable my face looks so swollen [Music] it's literally still dark outside oh freezing [Music] that's suspicious it's six o'clock now i'm waiting for rosina to pick me up if i haven't said that already we're both gonna grind it out i kind of wish i could drink coffee but i think we are gonna drink pre-workout i don't think you can mix pre-workout and coffee i feel more awake now i need to like stretch my face like my mouth isn't moving properly and my eyes are like still shut but mentally i'm pretty awake i'm going to write in my five minute journal and manifest a little bit it's just a book that you write down your gratitude your affirmations and like all this stuff in the morning only like three separate questions so i'm going to answer these i'm going to fill out this whole page with affirmations and i'm just going to play frequency vibrations [Music] okay rosina is finally here it is 6 30 a little bit later than i thought we would be going out but it's okay it's day one we're gonna get better it's just barely starting to get to sunrise good morning good morning how was your morning it was good i actually got up which i was surprised it's easier right now but i feel like this is gonna hit me later in the day i think i'm gonna take it out by the time we're done the gym it'll be the time we normally wake up okay three two one just open your mouth water water so sour that was way harder it's actually horrible i don't know if i can it just makes your whole insides like shiver [Music] we are finished the gym i'm outside i look so sweaty and like terrible but it's only nine o'clock i'm feeling pretty good it's a lot later it's 12 52 now i'm at jacob's house actually i've been editing all morning i actually got so much done posted my video and now we're going to make breakfast we are having whey cakes i've never had this before but they're protein pancakes [Music] this is turning out horribly i did what they said did you stir too much yeah i don't know what went wrong but this isn't it something about getting four hours of sleep just does not sit right with me oh my god it's so early i literally can't open my eyes okay so some of you actually may recognize this day because i actually filmed a productive day in the life which is already posted so i'll just skim through what i did this morning but obviously i went to the bathroom i put my contacts in i washed my face did the skin care good morning guys it's currently like 5 45 right now it literally took me so long to get out of bed even though i was awake i'm going to change into my workout clothes because going over the gym today because yesterday that made me feel really productive and really good about myself i then gave my cat a kiss i put my workout clothes on i listened to morning affirmations and i drank some water i then grabbed one banana to eat for breakfast and half of a pastry i made sure to listen to my affirmations every day i love my healthy lifestyle and i wrote in my five minute journal and to start the day we go i was thinking arms today too like arms in like some butt like oh i want to do yeah i want to do squats two complete we just finished the gym it's literally nine in the morning i feel awake i feel good i got my sweat in day two is done time for day three who is ready i'm not ready guys yesterday i actually went to sleep at 12 and now it's 2 55. 12 55 do you think that i will be ready to wake up in four hours because i don't i don't think so i think i will in fact pass out tomorrow and i have cheer tomorrow which is just a recipe for disaster goodnight lovelies i'll see you tomorrow [Music] good morning guys i look so rough i couldn't wake up at 5 30 i tried and i couldn't i don't know what i was thinking that four hours would be enough sleep and it 100 wasn't it's currently 7 a.
m i am two hours late but but don't fret every single other day this week i've woken up at five okay so one day you know what it's not the end of the world i'm alive but i'm dead our face mask of choice today is going to be the tula skincare face masks waking up at seven having the actual sun shine on me is a lot more of an inviting wake-up routine if you're waking up at five in the morning it's just depressing and not motivating at all to wake up and i don't know if after this challenge i would be able to wake up at five in the morning every single day but waking up at seven on the other hand might not be that bad you are still getting a bunch of stuff done it's still early in the morning that you feel productive but you're also not really necessarily having to take a nap or wake up in the dark [Music] i just finished being on my computer i just answered some emails i did an order for a sponsorship looked at my calendar to like set up what days i have to do what next up is time to go zen doing yoga helps me so much it makes me feel so like stretched out honestly a lot of the things are actually really hard to do you need to be actually i feel like really fit and like flexible to do a lot of the things that yoga instructors do i also think like if you're not gonna work out yoga is like a great alternative i do yoga it's still kind of moving my body without having to go work out and be sore later hi everyone welcome to yoga with adrian today we have a targeted practice for the neck the shoulders cycle of breath go ahead and close your eyes here we go big breath in long breath out relaxing the shoulders down to arrive here in the moment [Music] i'm done with my yoga now and i'm going to search up a 10 minute meditation i think i'm going to do this one right here 10 minute chakra balance guided meditation for positive energy i'm also going to use my air pods because i feel like it's just a lot more of the experience when you have this calming sensation and it's just in your ears rather than hearing all the distractions of the outside world i'm done my meditation i feel good i feel relaxed i honestly feel really energized but that also is because i slept more hours tonight so hopefully i won't need to take a nap i'm just gonna go have breakfast but i'm not gonna show you guys because i'm gonna film what i eat in a day today so or i might have a matter of minutes like it was not there before good morning guys i have woken up finally at the gym partly vlog this morning i was so tired i'm here with rosina we're only going to work out for like an hour because we actually have a bunch of editing to do and like we're gonna go to a cafe after so hopefully we don't crash by the time we're at the cafe but for now we're gonna grind it out yeah we'll get that pumping workout finally done was successful we got out by 8 30 which is really good timing and now we're gonna go to a cafe it smells so bad in here i'm confused why i just ordered a iced caramel macchiato our parking is for two hours so if it smells really bad we might just leave and go to a different cafe you know switch up the scenery guys it is the final day i just came back from cheer it's like 11 30 and i need to go to bed asap so that i can finish strong with my last and final day i got this lamp it looks like a circle and my parents actually bought it for themselves but i asked if i could borrow it tonight and it's basically a lamp that slowly lights up your entire room and plays bird sounds like slowly wake you up and it's supposed to feel like sunlight i'm gonna use that tonight and hopefully that'll make me wake up better and it actually starts lighting up the room at 4 30 a. m and then at 5 a. m it'll be fully illuminated i'll have a bird singing in my room and i'll be finally ready to wake up holy this light is so bright this is what the lamp looks like it does feel like sun and it's kind of illuminating my whole room honestly it's a little bit more inviting than an alarm clock and it hasn't even done the bird sounds yet i'm gonna lay here in bed actually i haven't even opened my eyes yet one second oh there's like lines on the screen sorry about that what i should have done is bring some water i woke up every single hour last night i was so ready to wake up right at five o'clock and my sleep was kind of and i bet you that i'll need a nap today i'm gonna lay down for like one more second smooth bird sounds they kind of sound insane but honestly this light is kind of good i'm gonna link it down below it is definitely a much more gentle awakening than like an alarm clock it's really bright i honestly feel really awake i'm gonna write my five minute journal and then we shall begin our day even though it's dark out [Music] this and just like put it around it's supposed to raise those vibrations it's not for cleansing but it smells really good and it does make me feel happier i don't do it for very long because it's very strong and when i do this i like to set good intentions for my day and for myself i have lots of water got my two spoons [Music] i'm going to start off by using some vitamin c serum it's good for smoothing and brightening spf moisturizer i have these eye masks [Music] perfect i look psycho and i also can't look down i might have made them too close to my eyes [Music] i think it's only out like 6 30.
