At some point in every Christian's life, they fall to their knees and say to God, "I'm tired. " Hopelessness floods the veins. Sadness presses so heavily on the heart, it even changes the way you breathe.
Heaven stays silent. Doors close in your face, in the stillness, with the taste of failure on your tongue, and prayers that now feel weaker. Let me ask you this.
Why are you still here? After everything you've been through, the failures and disappointment, after no answer from God, you know why. Because deep down there's a knowing, an ancient instinct in your spirit.
You were born with it. You've heard the story, the story of Jesus. And something about it struck you.
It imprinted on your soul. left behind a wisdom so deep that even now after the pain, the loss, the silence, you're still standing here because subconsciously you know it wasn't the nails that kept Christ on that cross. It was his love for the father and us.
And that inherent faith in you is keeping you here. And you know what? In these moments of isolation, your heavenly father longs for you to hear him.
that he's teaching you to walk by faith, not by sight. He's saying this is the price of purpose, the price that prophets paid, the price history's greatest souls bore with trembling hands and unshaken trust. So don't be dismayed by the hardship, their proof he listened, because no man ever fulfilled divine purpose by comfort and ease.
But since you're going through it, it means God took you seriously and he wants you to go through the storm and come out. He's heard you praying for those dreams and goals. You told him that you wanted to be the best at what you do.
You told him about the people you want to make proud, about the family you one day want, about the kind of man you want to become. So after you asked for them, he didn't give you comfort or instant results. He gave you conditions that force growth.
He gave you challenges that match the weight of what you asked for. The size of the burden reveals the size of the calling. The bigger the dream, the heavier the cross.
You said you wanted to lead, so he broke you first to make sure you could carry others without collapsing. You prayed for strength. So he handed you burden because muscles don't grow without pressure.
If life stayed easy after you prayed for it, it means nothing changed. He knows a weak vessel cannot hold the weight of something given by him. And neither do you want to be the weak vessel.
That's the truth of this universe. Souls must be tested, refined, proven. Because to receive the abundance of your dreams from the hands of God himself is an honor.
Be glad it's hard. Because your enemy, the devil, would have done the opposite. He would have lulled you with shortcuts, dressed corruption as opportunity, fed you comfort to keep you soft, handed you gratification to rot you from inside, just enough ease to keep you blind, and walking willingly to hell and missed your calling.
Remember, the path to hell is paved with ease and comfort. The path to heaven is lined with discipline, devotion, and delays. Right now, you're on the road to heaven.
Your exhaustion proves it. You didn't take the devil's bait. God sees this, and he wouldn't have you any other way.
Now, brother, he waits with a fierce hope, waiting for you to rise, to steady your steps, to plant your spirit in him. So even if another dream shatters, even if the ground splits again beneath your feet, it doesn't break you.
