so I have like many questions so I try to ask the most like common one first uh the first one that I have it's uh the temptation of Jesus in the in the desert he was tempted by Satan and we all know the story how it happened but the thing that I can understand it's like how can Satan tempt part of God of the person part of God I would say how can Satan tempt the Eternal son who's God in essence true yes yeah uh that's an easy question to answer I've written an article on

this so you're not asking any difficult question it's too easy to answer which I will but yeah number one ask you a question how could the Israelites tempt God when God is in their presence and he's not in the flesh for example do you have your Bible with you yes uh yes ask you are you are you the Good News Bible is oh my goodness oh the most pathetic version of the Bible you could read are you what else do you read just curiously when you're reading the Bible besides the good news translation what do

we'll switch another translation that's easier but the King James translates the words consistently here if you read the Hebrew and the Greek the words translated tempt and elsewhere trans translated test it comes from the same words you with me there yes I'm with you okay so the problem with the translation is if you have the same Greek word in the in different verses sometimes they'll transl word temp other times they translate a test so you don't know it's the same word whereas in the King James it translates the word consistently now if you have your

how could Satan tempt God now let's apply it to the Old Testament Jehovah let's use the word Jehovah if Jehovah is God how could Israel tempt Jehovah yeah that's true so so as as in general God can be tempted yes not wrong to be tempted let me explain to how Temptation works you can be tempted externally internally internally means that you have desires that can cause you to succumb to Temptation for example if you're a single man and you struggle with intimacy a woman comes before you and she tempts you that's external right she's external

she's outside of you right yes but now now you have desires for her now that's internal so there's internal Temptation external Temptation right right okay now she's tempting you externally now okay you start getting tempted internally and you succumb the Bible is clear many people try to tempt God but because God is God there's nothing inside God that would cause him to desire those Temptations and succumb and fall to them okay you see the difference now yeah I see it so I see it so sorry continue no no finish your point I want to hear

yeah so what I was asking so when Satan used to tempt God when went and tempted Jesus in the desert I I sometimes I remember when in jobs yeah when Satan came to God and told him like I want to test them start to test job yes so God give him the authority to start to tempt so Satan when he wants to tempt someone in general he take the authority from God to tempt exactly he's got to be given permission but that doesn't mean that God himself hasn't been tempted people tempt god Till this day

you tempt God by living against his will and living in a manner that disgusts him and angers him that's temp thing God we tempt God day and night every day anytime a creature does something against God's Will and does something that Grieves God and angers God that's tempting God you're tempting God and defying him to his face so the Bible is quite clear people tempt God all the time Israel tempted God in the desert right so for Jesus to be tempted that doesn't mean he's not God in fact let me show you where the holy

spirit is tempted are you ready yes Acts 5:9 acts 5 ver9 but read King James again because it's the same word in Greek acts 5 ver9 then Peter said unto unto her how is it that ye have agreed together to Temp the spirit of the Lord behold the the spirit of the word this not word the spirit of the Lord right so wait the Holy Spirit can be tempted Jehovah can be tempted and Jesus can be tempted so does that mean the spirit is not gone no of course not because the spirit is clearly the
