The animation shows a beach and a dog stealing meat from a shop. Because the dog shop owner caught him, he was chased by the police, who happened to be around there. Soon after, a chase between the police on the bicycle and the dog carrying the meat ensued.
In the middle of the chase, they almost hit a boy wearing a green shirt who wanted to cross. The boy's name is Shaggy, and he has social problems that leave him with no friends. One day the lonely Shaggy made his own friends out of beach sand which he named Shelly and Sandy.
He chatted with the two sand dunes as if they were his best friends. Unsuspectedly, behind the sand dune, a dog that stole the meat earlier was hiding from the police. The dog took pity on Shaggy, talking alone in front of the sand dune.
Then he decided to meet Shaggy and invited him to eat together. They ate sandwiches filled with the dog's stolen meat. Not long after, the policeman chasing the dog came to arrest him because he was a stray dog.
Then Shaggy lied by saying that this dog was his pet. But the policeman didn't believe it easily, so he asked the dog's name. Shaggy replied that the dog's name was Scooby.
The name he gave was inspired by a cereal brand that was nearby. After learning the dog's name, the policeman believed it and left from there. Later that night, at Shaggy's house, he gifts Scooby an ID necklace to celebrate their friendship.
Then they both left the house in full costume to celebrate Halloween. As they were walking, two naughty boys riding skateboards suddenly grabbed his candy bag and threw it far into the haunted house. After that, they both left Shaggy, who was sad because his candy was gone.
Soon a group of good kids came to him and helped Shaggy to stand up. Then they started getting to know each other. Starting with a girl wearing glasses named Velma, continuing with a girl wearing a wonder woman named Daphne, and finally, a handsome boy named Fred.
After that, Fred invited them all to take Shaggy's candy that the naughty boy had thrown into the haunted house. But before entering, Shaggy warns that the house is very haunted. Those who heard that didn't really mind and still went inside.
There they managed to find the candy's bag, which had fallen not far from the entrance. Shortly after, Fred took the candy bag and gave it to Shaggy, but suddenly a strange sound came from the cupboard in the room. Because they were curious, they decided to open the cupboard, which was just one old clothes hanging on hangers.
When Velma removed the clothes, a ghost appeared from there and wanted to catch them all. However, all the doors and windows in the house suddenly closed tightly on their own. Then the ghost started chasing them one by one, and Fred, who had gone up to the second floor, saw the rope connecting the ghost to the house's ceiling.
Soon after, Fred cut the rope using his axe. When the rope was cut, the ghost chasing them also fell. Afterward, Velma and Daphne quickly tied up the ghost, who turned out to be a man wearing a Halloween mask.
Moreover, the man is a thief who stole from an electronics store. At that place, Shaggy and Scooby find a pile of stolen electronics hidden in the cupboard. Then the police came to arrest the thief.
After that, they all started talking about the fun of solving the mystery and intended to do it again. Soon after, the five of them decided to form a group called Mystery Inc to solve the mystery of the ghosts and monsters they encountered. The scene then moves to where Shaggy, Scooby, Daphne, Velma, and Fred have grown up.
When they were all eating together at a restaurant, a man soon arrived who became a potential investor to finance them in investigating the next mission. His name was Simon Cowell. However, he gives a condition that there should not be Shaggy and Scooby in the Mystery Inc group because Simon considers them useless.
Then, Shaggy and Scooby, who heard that felt offended. They both leave. To vent their frustration, they go to a bowling alley.
At that place, Scooby plays bowling while Shaggy sits eating french fries. They were both very upset over Simon's treatment earlier. Scooby, who was throwing a bowling ball, managed to drop the last pin.
But suddenly, the pin stood up again and issued red eyes. Then he told about that to Shaggy. However, Shaggy didn't believe him and said that maybe his imagination appeared because he was still annoyed with Simon's words earlier.
Then they went to get a bowling ball, but strangely their bowling ball didn't come back, and instead, another track took out a bowling ball. After waiting for quite a while, finally, their bowling balls came out. But when Shaggy was about to take the ball, it suddenly came alive and wanted to bite his hand.
However, the strange incident was not only that because suddenly one of the pins there turned into a scary robot monster. The robot starts attacking Shaggy and Scooby. Then they immediately fled from the place through the back door.
However, they are still being chased by the bowling pin robots, whose numbers are now increasing. Unfortunately, the road they were taking turned out to be a dead end. When they were cornered, a blue light suddenly appeared from the airplane, and the light sucked them up.
In the end, they survived the killer robot's pursuit. Arriving on the plane, Shaggy and Scooby were greeted by a woman named Dee Dee Skye, the pilot of the Falcon Fury plane. Not long after, a man wearing a blue eagle costume appeared who turned out to be a hero named Brian or better known as Blue Falcon.
He meets Shaggy, Scooby, and his partner, a robotic dog named Dynomutt. So Brian, Dee, and Dynomutt are one of the rescue groups from the world of Scoobydoo Badoo. And he is Shaggy and Scooby's idol.
Brian is the son of the previous Blue Falcon. Then when they were all chatting, the plane's alarm sounded, indicating that their plane was being chased by an enemy plane named Dastardly. It turns out that Dastardly is the owner of the killer robot that was chasing Shaggy and Scooby.
Then Dee controlled the plane to escape from Dastardly. Afterward, Dynomutt explains to Shaggy and Scooby that Dastardly is looking for three Cerberus skulls, and now he has found one. So Blue Falcon's job as a hero is to prevent him from getting the other two skulls so that his evil plans don't work.
During their attempt to escape, their plane was shot in a chain by Dastardly, and their plane was then withdrawn by him. Dee as a pilot, has an idea to escape by using a suction beam to bounce their plane so they can escape from Dastardly's plane. This method succeeds in getting them to escape from his pursuit.
After successfully escaping, Brian invites Shaggy and Scooby to join their mission and find out what Dastardly wants from them because earlier in the bowling alley, they were chased by Dastardly's killer robot. The scene then switches to the bowling alley. At that place, Fred, Velma, and Daphne are asked about the whereabouts of Shaggy and Scooby to the female cashier.
Then they got information that Shaggy and Scooby had been kidnapped by blue light, and she showed the killer robot chasing them. However, now the robot is dead. Then they took the robot away.
In the car, Velma tries to disassemble the robot and finds information about the robot's owner based on hair samples stuck to the robot. This information is Dastardly's latest personal data and contains records of his crimes, such as stealing the Cerberus skull artifact and pedigree records of a group of dogs from the Global Kennel Club. After knowing that fact, Fred, Velma, and Daphne rushed to find Dastardly to catch him.
But without them knowing it, the killer robot they brought was alive again. On the other hand, Dastardly is angry at his robot because they have failed to catch Shaggy and Scooby. Then he punished one of his robots by replacing his head with a dirty vacuum cleaner.
The scene switches to the Falcon plane. It can be seen that Dynomutt and Dee are looking for the location of the Cerberus skull. However, Brian, who became the leader, did not help them and instead was busy playing on his social media.
Meanwhile, Shaggy and Scooby were giving Brian his homemade chili ice cream. Shaggy calls it heat wave ice cream. Hearing his words about heat waves gave a clue for Dynomutt and Dee to find the location of the second Cerberus skull, namely in the Gobi Desert.
However, Brian denied this by saying the location was wrong because the correct one was in Romania. He said that he got the information based on messages from his fans. Then Dee carefully explained to Brian that he should not easily believe what was on the internet.
But he was stubborn and told her to take him to Romania. On the other hand, in Fred's car, Velma gets information about Dastardly's plan, which turns out to be targeting Scooby. It turns out that Dastardly wants Scooby because he is the last descendant of Peritas, the dog that belonged to Alexander the Great.
Without them realizing it, Dastardly's killer robot was still watching them from behind and eavesdropping on their conversation. Meanwhile, on the other hand, the Falcon plane has arrived in Romania. They went to Funland, a game park that had been closed for a long time.
They went in there and explored the area of ? ? the vehicle, and here Brian still believed that the Cerberus skull they were looking for was in that place.
Not long after, Dastardly said he had managed to get the second Cerberus skull in the Gobi Desert. Then Dynomutt and Dee tried to fight off Dastardly's robot army that attacked them. Meanwhile, Scooby and Shaggy were told to hide.
But in that fight, Brian disappeared instead. Because of that, Dynomutt and Dee had to fight. On the other hand, Scooby and Shaggy try to escape Dastardly's pursuit by getting into a vehicle.
But in the end, they are cornered by Dastardly. Soon after, Dastardly shoots Shaggy, causing him to bounce up and get stuck in the Ferris wheel. On the Ferris wheel, Shaggy meets Brian, who is hiding.
At the same time, Scooby is seen being chased by Dastardly. Luckily he was helped by Dynomutt. Then he helped Shaggy and Brian get off the Ferris wheel.
Soon after, the four of them were pulled up by the Falcon plane and made it back safely. After that, Scooby told the others that he had heard Dastardly think he was the key. But he doesn't know what the key that Dastardly said.
Brian, who heard that, instead of finding out what Dastardly meant, gave Scooby a hero costume because he thought Scooby was important in this mission. And Brian ignored Shaggy because he was not considered useful in their mission. On the other hand, Dastardly gets information from the killer robot in Fred's car.
The robot says that he is now in the car of Shaggy and Scooby's friends. Dastardly, who heard that got a new idea for his plan. Then he asked about Fred's location from the robot.
While on the Falcon plane, Scooby is seen being given a hero costume. But Shaggy, who saw him being given a hero costume, felt hurt because the necklace he had given him was taken off from Scooby. Besides that, he felt lonely seeing Scooby, who was far away from him.
The scene then shows Dastardly, who has succeeded in kidnapping Scooby's friends, and the three of them are locked up in his plane. Soon the robot that was punished by Dastardly to help him locked Fred, Velma, and Daphene in prison. Daphne, who saw the robot felt sorry for the robot because it kept sneezing because its head was replaced with a dirty vacuum cleaner.
Then she offers to help him with cleaning the dirty vacuum cleaner. After cleaning, the robot is no longer sneezing and grateful to her. It can be seen that the robot is starting to like Daphne.
As a sign of gratitude, the robot quietly took Daphne and her friends out of prison. After that, they sneak to find a way out. But at that time, they accidentally saw that Dastardly had managed to find the location of the last Cerberus skull, which was in Messick Mountain.
Then they were planning to find Blue Falcon. Soon after, the vacuum cleaner robot returned to help Daphne and her friends again by showing them where the communication machine was on this plane. Afterward, they rushed in there and immediately informed Blue Falcon about the information they got.
After Daphne and her friends pass the information on to Blue Falcon, they find a note of Dastardly's plan taped to the wall. It turns out he wants to take Alexander the Great's treasure in the underground gate, but the gate is locked, and only Alexander or his dog, Peritas, can open the door. This also applies to Peritas descendants.
So it's clear why Dastardly wants to kidnap Scooby because he needs him as the key to open the underground gate and take all of Alexander's possessions. Shortly after that, Daphne and her friends were caught by Dastardly. They asked Dastardly why he wanted to open the underground gate so badly.
Then he began to tell them that he only wanted to return his pet dog, Muttley, who had once entered an underground gate through a portal. However, Muttley can't get out of there because Muttley isn't a descendant of Peritas, and now he has found Scooby to open the gate so Muttley can get out of there. After telling the story, Dastardly ordered his men to return Velma and Daphne to the prison.
While Fred stayed with him because he wanted to use Fred as part of his plan. On the other hand, it can be seen that the Falcon plane has arrived at Messick Mountain, the last location of the Cerberus skull that Velma told him about earlier. Then they entered a hole in the mountain.
Until finally, they all come to an underground island. After landing, they all got out of the plane and started to go around to find out the situation there. But here, there is a bit of a fight between Shaggy and Scooby because he prefers to leave Shaggy on the plane and go with Blue Falcon to look for the Cerberus skull.
Because of that, their friendship began to drift apart. On his journey, Scooby and Brian meet a man who is a native there. Then they asked him about the Cerberus skull, and it turned out that he knew its location and asked them to follow him.
On the plane, Shaggy feels guilty for scolding Scooby and leaves him while looking at the necklace he gave to Scooby. Shortly after that, Shaggy heard a car horn which turned out to be Fred coming with his car. There he told Shaggy that Velma and Daphne had been kidnapped by Dastardly and that only he could escape from there while they were still locked up in Dastardly's plane.
Fred then tells Shaggy to protect Scooby because he is targeted by Dastardly, who will be there soon. Shaggy innocently believed his words. Then Shaggy took him to meet Scooby, and they immediately followed Scooby, who entered the forest on the island.
After a long journey, Brian and Scooby found the last of the Cerberus skulls, thanks to that native man's help. Then he said if they wanted to take the skull, they had to beat the guard in a fight, and the guard was the one who had just brought them there. Soon after, they began to fight, but who would have thought that even though his body was small, his ability to fight could not be underestimated.
The native man could easily dodge all of Brian and Scooby's attacks. He even had time to play with them both. Suddenly, Dee came to help, and at that moment, Shaggy and Fred also barged into the arena using their car.
But unexpectedly, Fred, who was there, immediately kicked Shaggy away and caught Scooby because it turns out Fred, who was in front of them, was Dastardly disguised as him. After that, Dastardly ran away with Scooby and Cerberus' skulls. Besides kidnapping Scooby, Dastardly also threw Velma, Daphne, and Fred, who were bound from the plane.
Luckily they were rescued by Blue Falcon. Then they all immediately returned to the Falcon plane to chase Dastardly, but unfortunately, their Falcon plane was destroyed. Suddenly, Brian blames Shaggy for the incident that happened to them.
Fred, who heard that, did not accept it and pushed him back. Fred scolded him back and said a hero shouldn't blame other people. After that, they fight.
Shortly after, Shaggy separates them and admits that this incident was his fault. Then he said something to them, and their spirits instantly returned. On the other hand, Dastardly has started his plan.
There he fused the three Cerberus skulls, which made an underground gate appear. The effect also makes old buildings around it new again. Soon after, Shaggy and the others arrive in Fred's modified car.
Dastardly, who saw that, ordered his robotic men to destroy them all. Inside Dastardly's plane, the vacuum cleaner robot that sees this doesn't accept it and deflects the attack from Dastardly's robot. But unfortunately, the effort was too late because the shot still hit Fred's car.
Luckily Dynomutt managed to help them. On the other hand, Dastardly forces Scooby to open an underground gate using one of his legs. Suddenly, the gate was opened and immediately greeted by the guard, namely the three-headed dog or Cerberus.
Seeing that many foreigners were trying to enter his territory, Cerberus went berserk while Scooby ran towards Shaggy and hugged him. Then they both apologized to each other for being selfish with each other. Scooby is very happy because he can gather again with his friends.
On the other hand, Dastardly managed to enter the treasure room. There it was seen that there was a lot of gold piled up, and he also managed to meet his pet dog, Muttley. They both hugged each other because they were so happy to see each other again after such a long time.
The scene then returns outside the gate. There Shaggy and his friends are still being chased by Cerberus. While they were hiding, Shaggy then made a plan.
He asked Fred and Velma to go to the gate and find out how to close the gate. Meanwhile, Shaggy, Scooby, and Daphne served to distract Cerberus. Soon after, their plan begins, and they also get help from Dastardly's robot killer on orders from the vacuum cleaner robot that was helped by Daphne earlier.
On the other hand, Dynomutt is seen advising Brian so that he dares to face his fears to become a real hero. It turned out that his advice was powerful enough to make Brian feel confident. After that, Blue Falcon team helped Shaggy's team to fight Cerberus.
Meanwhile, Fred, Velma, and Daphne had arrived in front of the underground gate. There they tried to find a way to close the gate, and Velma concluded that to close the gate, two people were needed where one person locked it from the outside, and the other locked it from the inside. Meanwhile, Shaggy and the others managed to get Cerberus back into the gate, and Blue Falcon team then closed the gate.
After that, Velma explains how to lock the gate to Shaggy and Scooby because locking the gate requires two people who have close bonds of friendship. One of them has to lock the gate from the inside, and then Shaggy sacrifices himself while Scooby locks the gate from the outside. After the gate was successfully locked, slowly, the buildings there disappeared, including Shaggy, who also disappeared inside the underground gate.
Then, the four of them hugged each other because they felt so sad that they had lost Shaggy. But suddenly, a statue of Alexander and Peritas appeared, and Shaggy came out of the statue. His return was greeted by his friends, who immediately hugged him.
Then Shaggy put Scooby's necklace back on as a sign that their friendship was back to normal. Elsewhere, Dastardly and Muttley were caught by Blue Falcon. After that, Shaggy invites the others to eat because he is hungry, and the film ends.
The moral of this animation tells us to keep our friendship and protect each other. It is shown when Shaggy and Scooby become targeted by Dastardly, Fred, Velma, and Daphne volunteer to help them. True friendship is also shown by Fred, who immediately defends Shaggy when he is blamed by Brian.
