have like five or six clients but uh I really I'm working for cheap just because it'd be like really cool if I could like get a testimonial basically saying like I did a good job um etc etc so I basically charge almost nothing um I don't know if you'd be interested in that since kind of sounds like you don't have time right now to build one yourself um how much you how much you think um well so like I've been I've been in the game for a while as far as web design I used to
charge like four to five Grand a site but instead of like instead of really charging anything up front now I'm I'm kind of just working up front for free and then for the most part like I I buy the domain name I host it for you um I do maintenance as well for you so if you want pictures or anything uploaded uh I'll get that done for you and that's just going to be like 97 to 197 um monthly depending on like what what what kind of site you want and then what features you want
on the site okay um yeah that's not something I think I'd be interested in be okay for sure how uh if you don't want me asking how much uh how much do you usually get a get quoted for for like a regular job uh it varies um pretty pretty wide range it could be like 200 bucks to $5,000 you know okay yeah I'm just I'm just doing the maou it's just like if if I was able to get you one job a month or one quot a month or really probably one quot every three months
I think the site would pretty much pay for itself as well as of course we also do you know we get you Google reviews as well just so you can obviously get more calls off Google because that's that's the goal yeah absolutely do you uh you to do a like a two Monon trial or something two months free see how it works out if it works out great then I'll uh then I'll keep pay for it yeah for sure so what we do is I do I do like the two weeks free to like to
get all your stuff set up and then a lot of the time what I'll do is I'll just put you on like the 97 and if you like everything that's going on and you want to you know check out the other features we have a bunch of stuff but like the base plan is 97 so if you don't like it after two months you always cancel but just to keep your site up we buy the domain name for you and we host it for you um it's just 97 just to have it up there on
Google I mean honestly man if you got if you got one job a year off of it it would probably pay for itself yeah yeah no I hear yeah just cuz it just just yeah so you get like integrated with Google Google searches and stuff like that exactly come up on on like broader searches and Stu exactly so I'd be lying I mean anyone that says like you're going to go to the top page of Google in the first three months or so they're lying to you like that's just not how SEO Works bro I
get those calls all the time and I turn them down every time I get them like least five times well it's just that that's not true you can't do that yeah I know they can't how many other PE contractors if I'm getting called five times a week every other contractor get five times yeah I mean that's yeah that's just not that's just not howo Works me that just seemed like a scam never interested in that kind of stuff yeah but I tell them all time I tell anyone that this Stu you give me a trial
if I get a job on it I will start paying for it you know what I mean yeah for sure for sure yeah I I totally understand um yeah I mean that's that's just honestly like you're not going to get you're not going to get ranked on Google in the first two or three months I mean you will but like you're not going to go to the first page that's just not going to happen um but I respect your honesty man you're the first one that's actually told me that it's tried to sell me you
know some web page designs Stu like that everyone else they always say you're G to be number one be yeah exactly that's just not how it works but I mean for the most part dude like most people search like I've been in the Contracting space for a minute like I I work specifically with contractors usually handyman and roofers but I mean the way the way people search is they just go on Google and they type in like handyman or something near me um and then basically like what's going to pop up is it's it's going
to pop up in the map and then the first thing they see either they call or they look at the website those are the first two actions like 90% of people take so when you have the S up there it just allows them to see your work and it just kind of shows trust and Authority in your brand that's like the whole reason why people have websites nobody nobody cares about a website right they care about the outcome the website brings them yeah absolutely but uh but I mean I I'll just give you this for
free I mean the first thing I would do man is you're I see your name is Kurt's Contracting on here um yes so I mean Kurt's Contracting that's great but what you would want to do is add like kurts Contracting in like this the city that you get most of your work in because I'm not like that's the other thing I do as far as SEO goes I'm not going to try to get you to compete with like the top dogs that are paying you know hundreds of dollars to be at the top spot right
I want I want you to be the king of a small area so anyone in that area you pop up for first so it would be like Kirk's Contracting um let's see where are you located maybe like what's so like what's the town servers like you get most of your work in uh Williams yeah what is it Williams what Williams sport Williamsport so yeah I would say Kurt's Contracting Williamsport or Kurt's Contracting upper east side or something that puts something that puts keywords of like the general area you service cuz Kur cont actually I read
a marketing book and that was something they said when you uh go to make your name but I I had read that after I already got my LLC all that that's it doesn't matter it doesn't matter that that Google that Google name could be changed like I I can change that for you it's it's very very simple or I could walk you through on Zoom yeah yeah um no it was saying something like so like along the lines like it targeting William sport it would say it told you to uh make your name like Williams
sport handyman exactly yeah and I I actually use uh I mean when we and the SEO stuff is a different package I just don't like to pitch that because the SEO is like it's such I don't like to pitch something I can't tell you exactly what the results going to be because SEO is like anyone that's saying oh like yeah I can get you at this point at this time is just they're they're lying that's just not how it works yeah yeah I mean yeah they all seem so confident no that's not how it works
until I ask you're that confident want do a trione of them willing to they're not conf yeah exactly so that's that's why that that's why I don't pitch the SEO I pitch the website because the website is just like time and you'll have the website forever that is like a product I am building for you um so that's yeah but like as I I just you know I don't want there's so many things that I can do I just think especially on a C- call it's like throwing all that at somebody who like dude like
you're you're not you're not a tech guy right like your job is you You Do Contracting that's what you're good at so it's like to throw all that mumbo jumbo at someone it's just like they're just going to shut down because they don't understand it and nobody nobody's going to buy something they don't understand what they're giving you know yeah yeah you're right but as far as I got another question question for you as far as like Google reviews go do you do you have a way of like getting those cuz I see you have
three on here which all five star it's just a very low number yeah yeah I'm working on it I'm tied up on a big job right now I got once I'm done with this I'm sure I can get a review I've been on this job for like two and a half months now it's a a full remodel so it's taking up a lot yeah for sure and again man the process is pretty simple I just I literally send you a form you fill it out and I just use I use that information to like fill
out your entire content of your site and then from there basically we just get on a we get on a zoom call and I can either I can do it you can see my screen or I'll walk you through it but it's just linking it to your Google profile it's like it's literally five clicks it's so simple um okay and then once it's on your Google profile again like I can't give you a time Horizon of when you're going to start like really seeing results I would say around 2 3 months because Google takes time
uh but I definitely would change the name for you as well uh and we can talk about that on Zoom um we and then well I can just run you through I mean you don't have to pay me for this it's it'll take 10 minutes but just run you through your Google profile uh cuz there's a couple other things in here I'm looking at you could change okay but would you have would you have like maybe 15 minutes to jump on a zoom today or are you you're at the job right now um I'm actually
