Isaiah's Prophecies of the end times are about to be fulfilled what if I told you the end of the world is already written that ancient prophecies 2,700 years old are unfolding right before our eyes Isaiah didn't just predict the coming of Christ he saw our future the rise and fall of Nations the collapse of economies even the final showdown between Good and Evil and here's the shocking part it's all about to be fulfilled Isaiah a prophet who lived in turbulent times he walked the streets of Jerusalem over 700 years before Christ his people were in
Rebellion turning away from God obsessed with wealth corruption and idolatry sound familiar now Isaiah didn't just warn Israel his prophecies stretched far beyond his own time time some were fulfilled with Precision like the coming of Jesus Isaiah 53 but others we are still waiting and the clock is ticking let's start with a prophecy that sounds eerily like today Isaiah warned of a time when morality would be flipped upside down when people would call evil good and good evil tell me are we living in that time right now but wait it gets even more intense Isaiah
also prophesied economic collapse Isaiah 24: 1-3 describing a world where cities are desolate businesses crumble and few people are left ring any bells and here's where things take a turn for the terrifying Isaiah saw global conflict Nations Rising against Nations Isaiah 17 ver 12 to4 Wars that would shake the world but then something bigger something darker Isaiah describes a ruthless leader who will sweep across Nations deceiving many sound familiar and then just when all hope seems lost a figure stands in the distance Isaiah didn't just see judgment he saw Redemption a day when the Messiah
Jesus returns to establish his kingdom Isaiah 11: 6-9 paints a picture of Peace Beyond imagination a world where lions and Lambs lay together where war and suffering are no more where Jesus Reigns as king studying the book of Isaiah will provide you with many interesting insights to begin the records of Isaiah's prophecy are among the most well doent mented of all the Old Testament books the closing verses of Isaiah 65 describe what will happen at the end behold I am creating new heavens and a new Earth and the former things of life will not be
remembered or come to mind but be glad and rejoice forever over what I create behold I am creating Jerusalem to be a source of rejoicing and her people a joy I will also rejoice in Jerusalem and be glad in my people and there will no longer be heard in her the voice of weeping and the sound of crying when the kingdom comes the Lord will rejoice in Jerusalem and the people of Israel the sounds of sorrow and anguish will no longer be heard infant mortality and premature death will be eradicated a person who dies at
the age of 100 years will be considered a child a centenarian who outwardly sins will be cut off men will live to enjoy the fruits of their labor because the lifespan will extend throughout the Millennium for the faithful there will be no unproductive labor and young people will not be cut off by war or Calamity parents and children will enjoy the blessings of the Lord no longer shall there be in it an infant who lives only a few days or an old man who does not finish his days for the Youth who dies at the
age of 100 and the one who does not reach the age of 100 will be thought of as a cursed they will build houses and live in them they will plant Vineyards and eat the fruit they will not build and another occupy they will not plant and another eat the fruit for as the lifetime of a tree so will be the days of my people and my chosen people will fully enjoy and long make use of the work of their hands they will not labor in vain or bear children for disaster for they are the
descendants of those blessed by the Lord and their offspring with them it shall also come to pass that before they call I will answer and while they are still speaking I will hear the wolf and the lamb will graze together and the lion will eat straw like the ox there will no longer be predator and prey and dust will be the Serpent's food they will do no evil or harm in all my Holy Mountain Zion says the Lord Prayer Will face no hindrances dangerous animals will be tamed and venomous snakes will be vanquished God's holy
mountain of Zion will be safe the prophecy talks about the complete renewal and transformation that will occur in the new Heaven and Earth it highlights the happiness and Delight that God's followers will feel in this fresh creation which will be free from past sorrows and struggles the concept of a new Heaven is deeply rooted in biblical prophecy offering a vision of Hope and restoration for believers one of the most poignant p passages that speaks to This Promise is found in the Book of Revelation then I saw a new Heaven and a new Earth for the
first Heaven and the first Earth had passed away and the sea was no more and I saw the holy city New Jerusalem coming down out of Heaven from God prepared as a bride adorned for her husband and I heard a loud voice from the throne saying Behold The Dwelling Place of God is with man he will dwell with them and they will be his people and God himself will be with them as their God he will wipe away every tear from their eyes and Death Shall be no more neither shall there be mourning nor crying
nor pain anymore for the former things have passed away Revelation 21 this passage paints a vivid picture of a future reality where where God's presence is fully manifested among his people it speaks of a complete renewal of the heavens and the Earth symbolizing a fresh start free from the effects of sin and Decay the promise of a new Heaven is not just about the Physical Realm but also about the spiritual restoration that comes with it it signifies a time when all things will be made right and God's original design for creation will be fully realized
for Believers This Promise serves as a source of comfort and Assurance especially in the face of trials and tribulations it reminds us that our current circumstances are temporary and that a glorious future awaits Us in the presence of God the promise of a new Heaven is a profound expression of God's love and faithfulness to his people it is a reminder that no matter what we may face in this life we have a glorious hope to look forward to an eternity in the presence of our creator where there will be no more pain sorrow or death
what does revelation mean when it says there was no longer any sea Revelation 21 appears to be a factual account of the new Heaven and new earth as scripture doesn't offer any other explanation it's highly likely that verse one means exactly what it says in the new Earth there will be no sea while some people may find it difficult to accept we cannot change the meaning of something to fit our own personal preferences or biases however we must accept that whatever God has planned is the best possible reality and we can't twist any verse is
meaning to make ourselves feel more comfortable in taking the side of literalism we recognize that there are alternative interpretations of the statement there was no longer any C in Revelation 211 some people believe that the C in this verse refers specifically to the Mediterranean Sea and when John looks into the future he sees that the Mediterranean has vanished some people interpret the statement there was no longer any c as a figurative reference to the absence of Divisions among Humanity in our current world oceans serve as natural barriers between nations and people groups according to this
interpretation John's Vision predicts that in the new Earth Humanity will not be separated by any means it has been suggested that the phrase there was no longer any c refers to the absence of anything perilous unpredictable or tumultuous in the time of John the sea was often viewed as a place of danger and changeability in the Book of Revelation it is mentioned that there will be seven things that will no longer longer exist in the new Earth the first of these is the sea as stated by John the other six promises are that there will
be no more death mourning weeping pain Revelation 214 curse Revelation 223 and night this means that things will be significantly different on the new Earth compared to how they are now currently the majority of the Earth is covered by water however the new Earth will have a different geography resulting in a distinct climate ultimately the important thing to remember is that God will make everything beautiful in his own time whatever his plans may be for us we can trust that they are for our ultimate benefit as it is written I Has Not Seen Nor Ear
heard the wonderful things that God has prepared for those who love him 1 Corinthians 2:9 Amplified Bible but just as it is written in scripture things which the eye has not seen and the ear has not heard and which have not entered the heart of man all that God has prepared for those who love him who hold him in affectionate reverence who obey him and who gratefully recognize the benefits that he has bestowed the Bible provides us with glimpses of the characteristics of the the new heaven offering a beautiful picture of what awaits Believers in
the presence of God one of the key characteristics of the new heaven is its Purity and perfection in Revelation John describes the New Jerusalem which is a symbol of the new heaven as a place of absolute Beauty and Holiness this passage paints a picture of a city that is pure and undefiled symbolizing the Perfection and Holiness of the new heav Heaven another characteristic of the new heaven is the absence of pain sorrow and death this verse speaks to the complete eradication of all forms of suffering and sorrow in the new heaven highlighting the perfect peace
and joy that will characterize this new creation the characteristics of the new heaven are marked by Purity Perfection joy and eternal fellowship with God it is a place where all the sorrows and struggles of this present life will be no more and Believers will experience the fullness of God's presence and love for all eternity in addition to its Purity Perfection and absence of pain the new heaven is characterized by its Eternal nature unlike the present World which is subject to Decay and destruction the new heaven will endure forever serving as an everlasting dwelling place for
God's people Revelation 215 proclaims and he who was Seated on the throne said behold I am making all things new also he said write this down for these words are trustworthy and true Revelation 215 ESV this verse emphasizes the Eternal nature of the new Heaven and underscores the reliability of God's promise to make all things new furthermore the new heaven is characterized by its accessibility to all believers in Revelation 22:17 John writes the spirit and the bride say come and let the one who hears say come and let the one who is thirsty come let
the one who desires take the Water of Life without price Revelation 22:17 ESV this verse highlights the inclusivity of the new heaven inviting all who are thirsty for Spiritual fulfillment to partake in the blessings of eternal life the timing of the new heaven is a topic that has sparked much debate and speculation among theologians while the exact timing is not explicitly stated in the Bible there are several passages that offer insights into when this glorious event might take place one key passage that addresses the timing of the new heaven is found in 2 Peter 38-9
but do not overlook this one fact beloved that with the Lord one day is as a thousand years and a thousand years as one day the Lord is not slow to fulfill his promise as some count slowness but is patient toward you not wishing that any should perish but that all should reach repentance second Peter 38-9 ESV this passage suggests that in God's eyes time is not the same as it is for us it emphasizes God's patience and his desire for all people to come to repentance before the Fulfillment of the new heaven another passage
that speaks to the timing of the new heaven is found in Matthew 24:36 but concerning that day and hour no one knows not even the angels of Heaven nor the son but the father only Matthew 24:36 this verse highlights the uncertainty surrounding the exact timing of the new heaven emphasizing that it is known only to God the father while the timing of the new heaven remains a mystery these passages remind us of the importance of living in Readiness and anticipation of this future event they also serve as a reminder of God's patience and his desire
for all people to come to repentance before the Fulfillment of his promise it's important to note that the prophecy about the new Earth doesn't mean that our memories will be erased rather it suggests that the new environment will be so amazing and awe inspiring that we will forget about the struggles and Imperfections of our current world a child who feels scared of the Shadows in their room at night completely forgets their fear the next day on the playground it's not that the memories have been erased but rather that they don't come to to mind in
the sunshine when a Believer dies they go to heaven but it's not their final destination it's important to distinguish between the current Heaven and the Eternal State the Bible speaks of a future new Heaven and a new Earth that will be our permanent home the verses Isaiah 65:17 and Revelation 211 refer to this eternal state which will come after the tribulation the final judgment and the recreation of the universe only then will the promise of wiping away all tears be fulfilled in his apocalyptic Vision John sees sorrow in heaven Revelation 6:9-10 Amplified Bible when he
the lamb broke open the fifth seal I saw underneath the altar The Souls of those who had been slaughtered because of the word of God and because of the testimony which they had maintained out of loyalty to Christ they cried in a loud voice saying oh Lord holy and true how long now before you will sit in judgment and avenge our blood on those unregenerate ones who dwell on the earth John is described as being in heaven in Revelation 41-2 he sees and hears those who remember the Injustice done to them their loud calls for
vengeance suggest that in the current heaven we will remember our lives on Earth both the good and the bad however it's important to note that the current Heaven of Revelation 6 is temporary and it will give way to the Eternal State mentioned in Revelation 21 The Story of Lazarus and the rich man mentioned in Luke 16:19-31 is a proof that the Departed Souls remember their previous lives on Earth in the story the rich man who is in Hades asks Abraham to send Lazarus back to Earth to warn his brothers about the punishment that awaits those
who lead unrighteous lives as mentioned in verses 27- 28 in the story of the rich man and Lazarus the rich man remembers his relatives and his life of self-serving and sinful Comfort while in shol which only adds to his misery although it is not mentioned whether Lazarus has memory Abraham is aware of the happenings on Earth it is only in the Eternal state that the righteous will be free from all sorrow he who was Seated on the throne said I am making everything new then he said write this down for these words are trustworthy and
true he said to me it is done I am the Alpha and the Omega the beginning and the end to the thirsty I will give water without cost from the spring of the Water of Life Revelation 215 through6 the idea that God will make everything new may appear too fantastic to be true but he claims that this promise is faithful and true his people will be completely satisfied in the new creation which is symbolized here by the metaphor of thirst being quenched from the spring of life's water when your thirsty the refreshing satisfaction of Downing
a cold glass of water pales in comparison to the spectacular satisfaction that awaits you those who are victorious will inherit all this and I will be their God and they will be my children Revelation 21:7 every saved person will live in the new creation but the Christian who is fully committed the one who conquers will inherit an even greater reward and God will dwell with him with greater intimacy as a father does with his son but the Cowardly the unbelieving the vile the murderers the sexually immoral those who practice magic Arts the idolators and all
liars they will be consigned to the fiery Lake of burning sulfur this is the second death Revelation 218 the description of Heaven is interrupted by a brief reminder that those who continue to sin and rebel against God will spend eternity in the Lake of Fire and sulfur which is the second death unbelievers with their unglorified bodies and unredeemed souls will enter a place where all of their problems from this life will be magnified with no hope of improvement they will be imprisoned in the consequences of their sinfulness to varying degrees one of the Seven Angels
who had the seven bowls full of the seven last plagues came and said to me come I will show you the bride the wife of the lamb and he carried me away in the spirit to a mountain great and high and showed me the Holy City Jerusalem coming down out of Heaven from God it Shone with the glory of God and its Brilliance was like like that of a very precious Jewel like a Jasper clear as Crystal Revelation 21 9 to 11 although Believers will live throughout the new creation the angel directs John's attention to
the capital of the new Earth this city will shine brighter than a cut diamond because it will be adorned with God's glory it had a great high wall with 12 gates and with 12 angels at the gates on the gates were written the names of the 12 tribes of Israel there were three gates on the East three on the north three on the south and three on the west the wall of the city had 12 foundations and on them were the names of the 12 Apostles of the Lamb Revelation 2112 to14 the city's massive high
wall symbolizes its inhabitants identity first the names of Israel's 12 tribes Sons are inscribed on the gates indicating that Old Testament Israel Believers will be present within it second the city wall is depicted with 12 foundations each with the names of the twel Apostles of the Lamb written on it this denotes the presence of Believers from the New Testament era's Church the Lord's Old and New Covenant followers will coexist in the New Creation The Angel who talked with me had a measuring Rod of gold to measure the city its Gates and its walls the city
was laid out like a square as long as it was wide he measured the city with the rod and found it to be 12,000 stadia in length and as wide and high as it is long the angel measured the wall using human measurement and it was 144 cubits thick Revelation 21:15 to17 the angel measures the city its Gates and its wall revealing that it is a cube of 12,000 stadia in length width and height a stadia is about 600 ft long so each dimension of the city is about 1,400 M long roughly half the distance
from New York to Los Angeles the height is the most mindboggling aspect of these Dimensions it's a multi-story city that rises and it's only the capital of God's New Creation this City's wall will be 144 cubits thick or about 72 yards thick the wall was made of Jasper and the City of pure gold as pure as glass the foundations of the city walls were decorated with every kind of precious stone the First Foundation was Jasper the second Sapphire the third agot the fourth Emerald the fifth Onyx the sixth Ruby the seventh chrysite the eighth Barrel
the ninth topaz the 10th turquoise the 11th Jin and the 12th amethyst the 12 gates were 12 pearls each gate made of a single Pearl the great Street of the city was of gold as pure as transparent glass Revelation 2118 to 21 the wall will be constructed of Jasper a translucent gemstone the city will be made entirely of gold the city walls foundations are to be adorned with every type of Jewel the list is incomprehensible each of the 12 gates will be made of a single Pearl and the city's Main Street will be made of
pure gold this is where we get the idea that in our Eternal home there are streets of gold not of tar or cement but of gold I did not see a temple in the city City because the Lord God Almighty and the lamb are its Temple Revelation 2122 during the tribulation and Millennium there will be a temple in Jerusalem however there will be no temple in the New Jerusalem because a physical representation of God's presence is no longer required his direct presence will be with us the city does not need the Sun or the moon
to shine on it for the glory of God gives it light and the lamb is its lamp our son is 93 million miles away but its power is enough to illuminate the Earth God's presence on the other hand can easily replace the sun because the Lord possesses even greater power and Radiance the fact that there will never be night there implies that Believers glorified bodies will never tire and need to sleep further furthermore we will not become bored on the new Earth Nations and Kings will function in a national context bringing their Glory and Honor
into the city everyone will visit the New Jerusalem as the Pinnacle of their lives on the new Earth and why not given its magnificence nothing impure will ever enter it nor will anyone who does what is shameful or deceitful but only those whose names are written in the Lamb's Book of Life Revelation 21:27 while the invitation to dwell in this city is universal the requirements to enter are specific nothing unclean will ever enter it nor will anyone who does what is detestable or false but only those whose names are written in the Lamb's Book of
Life who have accepted Jesus as their Savior by faith the purpose of the new heaven is deeply rooted rooted in God's plan for the Redemption and restoration of all creation it represents the ultimate fulfillment of his promise to reconcile Humanity to himself and to bring about a state of perfect peace and Harmony One of the key purposes of the new heaven is to provide a dwelling place for God's people where they can experience his presence in its fullness this verse emphasizes the intimate relationship that Believers will have with God in the new heaven highlighting the
ultimate fulfillment of God's desire to dwell among his people another purpose of the new heaven is to serve as a place of Eternal rest and reward for God's Faithful Servants this verse assures Believers that in the new heaven they will experience a state of perfect peace and joy free from the sorrows and struggles of this present life in addition the new heaven serves as a testament to God's faithfulness and sovereignty it demonstrates his power to overcome sin and death and to bring about a new creation that reflects his glory and Majesty the new heaven offers
a perfect Eternal dwelling for God's people showcasing his presence peace and joy and a testament to his love and faithfulness the hope of the new heaven is a central theme in Christian belief offering Believers a profound sense of anticipation and expectation for the future it represents the culmination of God's plan for Redemption and restoration providing a glimpse of the eternal glory that awaits those who belong to him one of the key aspects of the hope of the new heaven is the promise of eternal life in the presence of God Revelation 21:4 speaks to This Promise
he will wipe away every tear from their eyes and Death Shall be no more neither shall there be mourning nor crying nor pain anymore for the former things have passed away Revelation 214 ESV this verse assures Believers that in the new heaven they will experience a state of perfect peace and joy free from the sorrows and struggles of this present life another aspect of the hope of the new heaven is the promise of transformation and renewal 1 Corinthians 15:52 to 53 describes this transformation in a moment in the twinkling of an eye at the last
trumpet for the trumpet will sound and the dead will be raised imperishable and we shall be changed for this perishable body must put on the imperishable and this Mortal body must put on immortality First Corinthians 1552 to 53 es5 this transformation signifies the complete renewal of Believers both in body and spirit as they are made fit for eternal life in the new heaven this verse reminds Believers that their hope is not in the things of this world but in the promise of a new Heaven where righteousness Reigns the hope of the new heaven provides Comfort
assurance and motivation to Believers reminding them of their temporary sufferings and the Glorious future in God's presence the transformation that will take place in the new heaven is a central theme in Christian theology representing a profound change in both the physical and spiritual Realms one of the key aspects of this transformation is the renewal of our bodies 1 Corinthians 15:42 to 44 describes this transformation so is it with the resurrection of the Dead what is sown is perishable what is raised is imper perishable it is sown in dishonor it is raised in glory it is
sown in weakness it is raised in power it is sown a natural body it is raised a spiritual body if there is a natural body there is also a spiritual body 1 Corinthians 15:42 to 44 this passage speaks to the transformation of our physical bodies from perishable to imperishable from weak to powerful and from natural natural to spiritual it signifies a complete renewal and restoration of our bodies to a state of perfection another aspect of the transformation in the new heaven is the renewal of our minds and hearts Romans 122 speaks to this do not
be conformed to this world but be transformed by the renewal of your mind that by testing you may discern what is the will of God what is good and acceptable and perfect Romans 122 this verse emphasizes the importance of being transformed in our thinking and attitudes so that we may align ourselves with God's Will and purposes this passage speaks to the transformation of the entire created order which is currently in a state of decay and suffering into a state of freedom and Glory the Eternal joy of the new heaven is a promise that brings hope
and comfort to Believers assuring them of a future filled with Everlasting happiness and fulfillment in the presence of God one of the key aspects of this eternal Joy is the absence of sorrow and suffering Revelation 214 declares he will wipe away every tear from their eyes and Death Shall be no more neither shall there be mourning nor crying nor pain anymore for the former things have passed away Revelation 214 ESV this verse highlights the complete eradication of all forms of suffering and sorrow in the new heaven ushering in a state of perfect peace and joy
for all eternity another aspect of the Eternal joy of the new heaven is the presence of God himself Revelation 213 says and I heard a loud voice from the throne saying Behold The Dwelling Place of God is with man he will dwell with them and they will be his people and God himself will be with them as their God Revelation 213 ESV this verse emphasizes the intimate relationship that Believers will have with God in the new heaven highlighting the ultimate source of joy and fulfillment the presence of family and fellow Believers is another aspect that
defines the Everlasting joy of the future Paradise this passage speaks to the joy of being reunited with love ones and fellow Believers in the presence of the Lord experiencing the fullness of joy and fellowship for all eternity the Eternal joy of the new heaven is a promise of hope and Assurance for believers reminding them of their future in God's loving and faithful hands filling their hearts with peace and contentment for eternity
