I love you New York here in New York the beautiful morning it snowed last night and we're about to get some hot tea because I don't drink coffee and cheese and more than enough happening right now [Music] about to go over the Brooklyn Bridge I've never done that before and I'm so excited so [Music] I just pull it out yeah does it matter I think I'll take one okay sir [Music] I'm talking to my sister and our baby who's our fluffy Disney Joey and Mary and love you [Applause] okay like every day at work [Music]
[Music] [Music] idiots it's crazy so everybody say yeah so something even though you got a special guest get me some milk for Sophia [Music] and now it's time to ice gifts welcome let's do this I'm ready to ice skate alright let's do it let's get you set up with some skates what size shoe do you wear size 8 give me two seconds thank you thank you so much pray for me cuz I'm late fault first time I I skated actually it was in New York it was in Rockefeller Center and I think it was the
very first time they ever came to New York City I was 12 years old with my sister my mom and my dad and it was just like the most magical day ever I will never forget that right now I live with my sister in Los Angeles so I really get to see snow so I have just been like a little kid running around every time it snows I just run out and just like feel it on my skin I've been dancing my whole life for 23 years and ice skating I think is very similar to
dancing you just incorporate the element of ice but I guess it doesn't involve poor flexibility I really feel like saying hey remember that quote in the notebook that says if you're a bird I'm a bird except I'm alone on the ice skating rink Twitter that's from my dream ice skating outfit would be probably one of the on sales performance outfits but on the ice kidding ready for tonight wanna come with me that's it stop we are back we were getting ready for the UNICEF fall tonight I am here with my amazing amazing team incredible makeup
artist gal who I adore and the amazing mr. Kyle Noble and I'm so lucky you know it really takes a team to put everything together and it's also not only talented artist but such amazing people so I'm really lucky I wanted to go into tonight feeling very elegant and really giving the evening the respect that it deserves you know it's such an important such a beautiful cause but we're all United for this evening it really is for UNICEF's incredible work my mom and maker in law it's me are the most elegant timeless women I know
I remember a few years ago when we would you know dream about one day if we were looking up to where John Bautista Valley couture gown on a red carpet because I really do think he does such a beautiful way of celebrating femininity and what it means to be a woman and empowers you in that way whenever you wear his dresses so that's always kind of been what I gravitate towards I don't remember a time in my life when I didn't know that this is who I was you know that was meant to do this
if I was lucky enough to be able to do this for a living and when I was about 11 or 12 you know we always grew up seeing my mom and my grandma being so philanthropic and so giving and really installed and my sister and me this kind of duty that we have as humans to give back as much as we can and I was 12 and my mom took us to a home in Columbia that fostered really really young like teenage girls who had babies and we met an 11 year old girl named Maria
who had just given birth and I think that really really marked a time in my life for me and my sister where we realized that when we grow up we have to dedicate our lives to giving as much as we can and today I am hosting the 15th annual UNICEF snowflake ball in New York City which is such an immense honor the night tonight is not only to celebrate the incredible work that UNICEF does but also to fundraise and all the funds 100% go to the protection of children in every corner of the world so
it's you know I say it a lot but it really is the most important thing that we can do even if you start small locally everything makes a difference but I think it all comes down to really using your voice I probably shouldn't be done I was just sitting to a playlist that I always listen to my Apple music I know it after watermelon sugar was nice on gray area I was like this is so cool okay guys the hair and makeup is done I'm here with Nicholas who is my stylist and we are picking
out jewelry and we have gorgeous selection or in-between either bold earring or bold necklace but we're gonna make a game-time decision and we're gonna flip a dress on yeah and then we'll decide and then I'll show you guys okay guys here's the final look she'll be so Couture and as you saw we went with all the time okay we are ready and we're heading out to go to the ball oh my gosh that felt like we were going to the ball [Music] are you taking a coat i am taking the coat i am taking the
coat first time me and now we go [Music] we are officially on her way to the UNICEF ball our first stop is rehearsals with a full show run-through I'll be running through my script and then I walk the carpet Priyanka walks the carpet and then I have a meet and greet with the president of UNICEF and then we go backstage and the show starts at 7:30 the gala starts at 7:30 should I call a gala the endless question let's go with gala for tonight okay guys we have arrived with the UNICEF ball thank you so
