have you ever wondered if there's a faster way to get more views on YouTube well after making over 300 videos for my main Channel and then growing it to 1 million subscribers I've discovered that the secret to more views is simpler than you might think you just need to write better YouTube titles now I've spent thousands of hours studying the psychology behind what makes a killer title and I've developed a simple five-step title writing system that is responsible for over 300 million views on my main channel so in this video I'm going to tell you
what this title right system is and how you can quickly start using it in your videos but first let me show you some proof that this system's actually generated millions of views for my videos so look at these two videos on screen the video on the left is by someone else and the video on the right is mine and my main Channel teaches magic tricks by the way now both videos have exactly the same thumbnail they both teach exactly the same magic trick and honestly the content quality is very very similar in the videos as
well but their video has 30,000 views and my video has 9 million views and pretty much the only difference between them is the titles their title is the retention of vision vanish which is boring and it doesn't use my system but my title is the best coin vanish in the world revealed which is exciting it creates curiosity because it follows my system so honestly guys that is the power of having a great title it's quite literally the difference between a few thousand views or millions of views on your next video and this is also another
video I made recently using this system it got 2.3 million views in just a couple of months because the title was just just so clickable now obviously this title writing system isn't some sort of guarantee that your next video will explode but it will put it in the best possible position to do so so let's break down the system now Step One is choosing your title strategy now this might sound basic but it's actually where 90% of creators go wrong you see not all YouTube titles are created equal look at these two videos Here video
one is titled the easiest chocolate cake of all time and video number two is titled simple moist chocolate cake recipe basic recipe for beginners both of these videos have over 1 million views but they're using completely different title strategies the first is what we call a browse based title and just think of this like a newspaper headline it's short it's punchy and it just grabs your attention with a really bold claim and these types of titles will mainly be found on the YouTube homepage the second is what we call a search-based title and you want
to think of this as more of an encyclopedia entry it's longer it's more detailed and it's packed full of keywords which match what people are typing into the YouTube search bar now here's the thing both types of titles work really well but browse based titles are better for fast growth because they help your videos appear on the YouTube homepage which is where you get most views quickly search-based titles also work but they're much slower and they take weeks to rank in the YouTube search results and this isn't ideal if you want quick growth on your
channel that is why for this video we're just going to focus on browse based titles to help your channel grow as fast as possible so now you know this key difference we can move on to the most crucial part of title writing which is creating the title structure and here's the simple mistake that almost every new Creator makes they sit down in front of a blank screen and then they try and come up with some brilliant never-before seen title completely from scratch and if that describes you then please please please don't do this instead what
top creators do is they find titles that are already proven to work on YouTube and then they just adapt the title to their own video in a process that I call framework extraction so here's how it works first go on to YouTube and find some channels that are not in your niche second find their outlier videos these are just videos that have performed better than that Channel's average so you can either just scroll through their Channel manually and just start looking for some videos with High View counts or you can just use a tool like
one of 10 that finds these top performers automatically third extract the framework from the high performing title for example this outlier video here is called five simple ways to understand native speakers easily brackets powerful so the extracted framework is number simple ways to get desired outcome adjectives and then all you do is just apply this framework to your topic so in the cooking Niche this might be something like three simple ways to cook the perfect stake every time in the productivity Niche it would be something like eight simple ways to double your productivity instantly and

like the look of either from my document or from your own research and then just write them down and then you can move on to step three which is using AI to generate your titles and this is where it gets quite interesting you see most people don't actually know how to use AI to write YouTube titles but I found a simple method that works really well and is actually help my videos get millions of views so just open chat GPT and copy in this prompt here so the prompts on screen I'm not going to read
it out cuz it's quite long but just copy the whole thing and you can actually download this prompt for free in the description as well add in your video idea here and then add in the Frameworks that you collected earlier then just press enter and chat GPT will generate several title options for you in just a few seconds then just go through the results and find a few titles that you like the look of and guys there you have it that will give you a really good YouTube title but we don't want a good YouTube
title we want to create a killer title that beats 99% of other YouTubers and killer titles have to follow these three rules so tell me what this video is about in less than a second now tell me what this video is about in less than a second can you see the difference your title needs to be processed in a split second or viewers will just scroll past it so to do this you need to make sure that your title is under 55 characters you need to remove any complex words and really just look at your
title and ask yourself is this easy to process if it is then you've mastered the first rule which is making sure that your title is easy to process but this second rule is even more important you see the only reason someone will ever click on your title is because that title builds curiosity and curiosity is built through just two emotions fear or desire the more fear or desire your title creates the more clickable it becomes so what I want you to do now is look at your title and just ask yourself does this title trigger
fear or desire in my audience if it does then you've mastered the second rule which is having emotional impact in your title but if not we need to amp up the emotional impact of your title with the third and final rule so take a look at these two titles the first is three card tricks you can learn in 5 minutes the second is three easy card tricks you can learn in 5 minutes the second title only has one word difference but is so much more clickable because it uses the word easy which is a large
reason why this video I made got half a million views the word easy is what I call an emotional impact words and what these are are just special words that make people feel something when they actually read them now all the top YouTubers use these emotional impact words when they create their titles just to make them that much more clickable now here are some of my favorites that you can use but I've put loads more in the free download below so what you need to do is look at your title and see if you can
make it more clickable by adding in one of these words and when you've got a title that's easy to process and it creates an emotional impact you're ready to move on to step five and if you you get this wrong then everything else I've said won't mean anything you see you can't create a title and assume it's just going to work instead you need to actually preview what that title will look like in the real world so what I do is I go to this website here called thumbnail preview.com where you can just upload your
title and thumbnail in order to actually preview it and see what it will look like on a simulated YouTube homepage so just try out a few different titles and really think to yourself what looks best with my thumbnail what has the most emotional impact and what is the easiest to process and if you think think Oscar I would love to do that but I don't have a great thumbnail yet then don't worry because you can just watch this video here where I teach you how to create a killer YouTube thumbnail
