right now there is something that you are currently holding on to that is blocking your blessing right now there is something that you are currently holding on to that is delaying your breakthrough right now there is something that you are currently holding on to that's affecting your ability to be obedient onto God you know what that thing is God has already spoken to you about what that thing is and today he is going to show you how to let go for his glory from the beginning of time we've always sought to fill our voids with

things that weren't from God and then we end up getting burned it's the same cycle in history it's the same thing in the Bible we see it in modern day and now we see it playing out in our lives right now you holding on to that specific thing is the reason you have no rest right now the let go is so so hard it's so so challenging but it's the answer to the rest that you need today in this video God is going to show you how to let that thing go step number one to

Letting Go expose the unfruitfulness that thing that you're holding on to extremely tight has most likely become an idol Idols are things that we make out to be like our our Min lowercase G gods and you know they've become Our God because it affects our ability to be obedient onto the one true God it's so so powerful it has a stronghold over you a demonic stronghold over you you're constantly fixated on it you're constantly Desiring it even though you know it's not that good thing that God wants for you in order to let go you

have to see the problem you have to see the problem the thing that you're holding on to right now what is the unfruitfulness it's bringing in your life what is the not so good it's doing in your life right now that you're trying everything to sweep under the rug and live in denial about I want you to illuminate it illuminate the problem expose it and if you can't fully see it ask God to show you ask God to show you the unfruitfulness it's bringing in your life and he will make it in plain sight this

is a first step to let him go you need to understand that God's first commandment to human beings was to be fruitful and multiply so whatever you are holding on to that is an idol that is not bringing forth fruitfulness anymore or mult and multiplication God detests that thing it's unpleasing to him and we were made to please God you need to start loving the things that God loves and hating the things that God hates this is why Jesus tells us to seek first the kingdom of God and his righteousness and his righteousness get to

know God get to understand him and understand his ways so that you can finally appreciate that his ways are good so like I said first step to letting go is documenting all the unfruitfulness this thing this Idol this stronghold brings in your life and getting unsatisfied with it ask yourself do you want to be on God's team he bought you with the blood of Jesus with a high price so that you'll be Children of the light on his team and not children of the dark for this step I highly advise you to get a journal

write out all the unfruitfulness that's brought in your life it's it's a stronghold with demonic underpinnings because it's not what God wants you to do so if you already know the things write it down like I said if you do not already know the things ask God to show you you can even while you're writing in your Journal you ask the Holy Spirit holy spirit guide me as I write so that you can reveal to me the mind of God the will of God why God doesn't like this thing that I'm doing second step to

being able to let go this is going to sound so confusing and so controversial because of what I said in the last step but now after writing out all the unfruitfulness I want you to write out all the joy and pleasure and comfort and goodness this thing goodness this thing brings to you why is this thing your lowercase G God why is this thing your idol why is why does this thing have such a strong hold over you what does it give to you what does it do to you what value does it add to

you how does it make you feel comforted and warm and secure because this is the reason why you are still here this is the reason why you cannot let go list out all the benefits it's bringing in your life write a list of just a couple of things or or even several sometimes stronghold holds do go that deep for example this can be all the ways uh unfruitful relationship or uh unfruitful job brings you joy and pleasure and peace and write write down everything whatever your thing is that God is calling you to let go

write out all the benefits it's bringing in your life it's really important to highlight the hold it has over you because after you do this we are going to move into step number three which is purging the lies next step we need to purge out all the lies if God is telling you no on a place that you want to go and you struggle to Letting Go bars okay if God is telling you no on a place you want to go and you're unable to let go you need to understand the biggest lie that you

are currently believing which is that God is not good enough to satisfy you you are currently there because you believe God is not good enough to satisfy you unbelief in the goodness of God is the reason why we disobey up against every single item you wrote down on that list in the last Point by you continuing to hold on it's telling God that he is not good enough or powerful enough to fill those voids and give you those needs you are telling God that you do not trust him to fill these voids or give you

the needs that your idols and strongholds are current giving to you now I want you to recognize us thinking that God is not good enough to satisfy these needs is a lie sent straight from the pit of Hell you know how I know this because like I said we see this clearly outlined in the beginning of time Adam and Eve believed the LIE from the serpent who we knew was Satan the the serpent questioned the goodness and faithfulness and the provisions of God and right now he is doing that in your lives today and causing

us to be in active Rebellion against God every day he fills your ear with a new reason why your idol is more abundant than God but I'm here to ask you to open up your eyes and see the truth if God is the maker of our idols and strongholds why are we not believing that God is big enough and abundant enough to fill the void that our idols and strongholds do you need to take a leap of faith and trust that God is good enough to fill every single void in your life every single point

that you filled out and in Step number two you need to trust that God is good enough to satisfy every single point your disobedience is keeping you away from the the warmest home and the warmest shelter which is in the hands of God this is what we saw with Adam and Eve the minute they disobeyed God the minute that they believe that God wasn't good enough to fill their voids and to fill their needs they were removed from the Garden of Eden they were removed from God's shelter and closeness and intimacy right now you have

no peace because you're an active Rebellion against him and it's only a matter of time before the thing you're holding on to hurts you hurts you that's another reasons why idols and God they can't they can't level up because your Idols will eventually hurt you God can never hurt you he can only add to you do you not realize that God is telling you to let go for your protection because he cares for you because he sees something in the future that you can't the plans he has for you are far more Superior than the

plans your idols and strongholds have have for you in this step and step number three I want you to take all the points you laid out in step step number two and rebuttal every single lie with the word of God because the word of God is truth and if you give it a chance you will see it yourself what can't the creator of the universe give you that only your Idols can for example let me show you how to do this let me show you how to do this step for example if your if your

stronghold is gluttony and you've written out that your your top two reasons why you're you're holding on to gluttony is because of pleasure and comfort you need to find scripture and the truth of God to combat all the things we think can only be found in our Idols when all good things that we desire can be found in God and God alone so boom let's do this let's rebuttal some lies okay let's come against some lies okay so if your if your stronghold is gluttony and the two things they're giving you is comfort and pleasure

for Comfort oh no I I have to be I have to be a glutton because you no it brings me so much comfort it brings me wrong what does the word of God say Matthew 11:28-30 come to me all who labor and are heavy laden and I will give you rest take my yoke upon you and learn from me for I am gentle and lowly in heart and you will find rest for your souls for my yoke is easy and my burden is light there's so many more verses on Comfort alone so many truths of

God on Comfort alone that was just one example and then the next one oh you know but you know I I'm holding on to gluttony because it brings me so much pleasure I love the pleasure that I girl Psalm 16:1 you make known to me the path of life in your presence there is fullness of joy at your right hand are Pleasures forever more if you fill those lies with the word of God everything can be found in God if we give him a chance this is why the Bible says in 2 Corinthians 10 verse4

for the weapons of our Warfare are not of the flesh but have divine power to destroy strongholds the spirit of God that he's placed in us has divine power to destroy strongholds if we lean in and then he continues in verse 5 and six we destroy arguments and every lofty opinion raised against the knowledge of God and take every thought captive to obey Christ being ready to punish every Disobedience when o when your obedience is complete okay this is what I'm showing you today this is exactly what it means to take captive every thought every

lie and make them obedient to Jesus Christ make them obedient to the word of God we are hang like we are hanging on to a bunch of lies right now and it is keeping us in active Rebellion against our glorious father who was always enough the whole time all Comforts all pleasures all desires are lying in his hands in his hands alone give God a chance to show you the abundance he can give you in life once you let go of that very thing that is blocking his entrance from showing you his fullness now the

very last step is to just let go you need to let go and choose obedience let go and let God blow your mind I say this because times and times again in the word of God which is true he reminds us that there is a reward for obedience the generosity he Pours Down onto those who listen to him cannot be described in case y'all didn't know Deuteronomy 5:33 walk in obedience to all that the Lord your God has commanded you so that you may live and prosper and prolong your days in the land that you

will possess Deuteronomy 28:1 if you fully obey the Lord your God and carefully keep all his Commandments that I am giving you today the Lord your God will set you high above all the nations of the world First Kings 2:3 and observe what the Lord your God requires walk in obedience to him and keep his decrees commands his laws and regulations as written in the law of Moses do this so that you may prosper in all you do and wherever you go need I say more need I say more like take that leap of faith

if it's God telling you to do it I promise you you will not regret it and a reminder before you go off a reminder before you go I'm just giving you a little disclaimer so you're are aware when it happens when you become ready to obey the devil will tell you who says God is this or who says God is going to do this for you and who said God is going to do that for you it's best you just stay when this happens when that push back happens you stand firm in the word of

God when you start hearing that questioning you stand firm in the word of God the devil loves to question the truth so that you believe a lie and also God reminds us in his word when we stand firm and resist the devil by taking captive those thoughts the devil will flee last verse I want to read for you in case you're still hesitant about obeying 1 Corinthians 2:9 but as it is written what no eye has seen nor ear heard nor the heart of man imagined what God has prepared for those who love him take
