playtime C starting to face hardship facing lawsuits and having a decline in profits comes up with a program called the big buddies initiative where they experiment on employees already on their payroll whom they transform into large dolls and mascots in order for them to efficiently do the work of a few staff members at a time while avoiding lawsuits this in fact is the beginning of playtime Co organiz ations Downs spiral into failure as they choose to take a more Sinister path to maintain profits hi folks I'm R your narrator and welcome to project playtime if
you have any video or game suggestions make sure to send them my way on my Twitter or subreddit keep in mind that this video will have spoilers about the entire franchise and with that in mind let's [Music] begin due to many employees leaving the Playtime Co organization causing the company become short of stand several employees get commissioned by playtime CO's head of innovation Le Pier to do a fairly simple job of collecting spare parts of toys in order for the company to make more toys it's not clear why manual labor is required for such a
job as it could easily be automated but I've got a few theories for that which I leave for the theory segment of the video these employees who have been asked to collect the toy parts are quickly labeled as resource extraction Specialists despite lack of skill and Specialty required Ed for such a job it sounds as if they try to oversell the job description and flatter the doomed employees in order to convince them to work at such a dangerous job hi there my name's Le Pierre and welcome to your job as a resource extraction specialist now
first things first as for your agreement anything you do hear see Etc is strictly privileged you're never to share any of your experience here with anyone in any instance for any reason whether that be your closest buddy your sister's boyfriend or in a court of law it's short just don't go spouting off about this job let's get started Le explains according to the non-disclosure agreement the poor employees cannot discuss any aspect of the job to anyone clearly being a huge red flag to begin with especially knowing the job consists of collecting toy Parts intended for
children what could potentially be there that the company doesn't want anyone to know about the employees arrive in the factory where they need to collect the parts by a giant toy train which is fully operational as a normal train they are also told to get back inside the train as soon as they are finished with collecting the parts there are several pillars placed halfhazard Le throughout the factory consisting of three different puzzles remembering the pattern of dot creating a coat Reaction Time puzzle and a version of Simon Says game after completing the puzzles La instructs
the employee emploees to quickly shut a gate which plays as a gameplay mechanic as well hindering the giant monsters from eating the employee while a hungry and angry hiky Wy walks by not acknowledging the employees presence this displays how the company is rled with monsters on the loose in a way explaining why these poor employees have been tasked with such a simple job as a matter of fact they have been lied to and deceive to perform such tasks acting as disposable Pon pieces whom none would know about how they disappear as after all they signed
several ndas preventing them from uttering as much of a w to anyone about their experiences yet it still doesn't explain why the company wouldn't create machines to do such a simple job and why each pillar is protected by puzzles if the employees are supposed to collect them anyway looking at this doesn't make much sense as if the company has intentionally made collecting toy Parts more difficult so the employees dying there the protagonist employee then soon arrived drives at the room which holds the suction machine which takes in all the toy Parts creating the toy and
putting it in the train which can transport the completed toy to a safe area just as the employee is busy working with the machine to activate it the Hostile Huggy wagy arrives knocking this employee down with LA who is seemingly monitoring this entire predicament giving the protagonist a little apology watering down the entire issue that he's going to be a life toy supper oh yeah sorry about that one thing I neglected to mention the reason we need people like you to get these parts is because these extraction sites aren't exactly secure this explains how L
is talking to the protagonist through a Life feed knowing where exactly this employee is at all times instead of sending reinforcements to help the protagonist Le simply SES due to the inconvenience asking his assistant Sharon to get more people as new resource extract Specialists depic think how replaceable these Specialists truly are the is in line with what we have seen so far from Puppy Playtime games on how playtime Co is a ruthless and cruel company which doesn't value any human life ranging from poor working environment with little to no safety precautions to downright experimenting on
their employees and trapping them in buddies of inanimate toys who eventually become hungry monsters who slowly lose their minds being trapped in a factory living eternally in the fluffy toys it's been so long just as the employee is dragged by the large Huggy n gets the end of M he finds himself thrown down a hatch where he sees two other employees just like himself called Johnny and Maggie who have been in the same predicament with LA having completely forgotten about them displaying absolute lack of care about their actual well-being just being relieved he doesn't have
to find new employees to take their role while Down the Hatch many more Huggy wuggies try to emerge out of pipe openings in order to feed on the trapped employees as that's how the monsters work they help each other to feed while the human like employees help each other to survive just like wacka wagy game in Chapter 2 the employees need to use their grab packs to push the Huggies back in preventing them from coming out La asks another employee by the name of Bill to use his grab pack and pull the resource extraction employees
back up this is also a gameplay mechanic which allows the employees to help each other out when they are taking can buy any of the moners on the Loose as soon as all the employees are back on the ground floor the suction machine places the toy Parts into the train with L instructing them to quickly run to the train before the monsters capture them running to the Train the employees press on a button calling for it when they eventually get on and leave the perspective suddenly shifts to the giant hugy wagi sometime later who gets
instructed by a monstrous voice to get up as the others are hungry and starving the Monstrous voice then continues that the specialists who have come to the side of the factory the abandoned part where monsters like hugy are on the loose are here to collect toy parts to create a giant toy just like him not being too clear if toys like Huggy who are alive or just large inanimate toys the others are [Music] hungry the others are starving get up they are trying to build more toys more like you it has to be stopped are
you ready you will see the location of every puzzle pillar protect them kill everyone in sight good send them down the home feed them to the toys below quickly or they will escape your grasp The Voice instruct tuy to knock down the first Survivor and drop them into the feeding pit where more toys below reside being extremely hungry and forgotten toys that have been talked about in chapter 1 in one of the tapes where the scientist explains how the ones Below have come up taking over a section of the factory that's why I'm making this
log so that the same mistake won't be made twice any future experiments will need to be contained and disposed of in a secure [Music] location I'm not worried about myself one breakthrough and I'll be back we must Forge onwards in the name of science whether those who are beneath us understand it or not end up augi following the vo's instruction soon manages to throw all the Specialists down the feeding pit where the toys below Feast on wet Huggies soon going into a hibernation waiting for more to come so the toys can be well [Music] fed
now that we know the basis of the story and what we can experience experience let's dive a little deeper and explore the story at least what we have been provided for now in the Early Access a secret VHS tape recorded by someone called Harley Sawyer labeling himself as a doctor explains an initiative called the big buddies initiative the doctor breaks down the multiple issues the company has explaining how there's been a decline in profits failed experiments employees seeing things and much more which has caused them get very disappointed with the company especially as it's a
company he mentions that he had been involved in building my name is Harley soya I'm called the doctor when I look at this company we've built I do not feel proud declining profits failed experiments people are constantly seeing things they shouldn't how is that anything less than complete fairy on our part it's pathetic now we're under staffed safety Protocols are being abandoned workplace incidents are common we can't avoid a lawsuit forever we need to deal with all of these issues at once I'm here now with a solution the bigger bodies initiative Giant toys we can
increase our Workforce and simultaneously decrease the number of lawsuits and people on our payroll if the people we have working aren't people put me in charge of it and I will save this company you might ask what kind of a doctor cares about Finance records and profits well we learn Harley as the type of doctor who has a lot more involvement in the company than just being an employee Harley continues that safety protocols have been abandoned with many incidents taking place commonly making the company vulnerable to lawsuits being involved in the company he asks for
permission from someone to be in charge of a new initiative which would solve all these problems with this person in charge seemingly being no other than Elliot lwig the founder of playtime Co Harley suggests an initiative by the name of big budd's initiative where he would experiment on the employees they already have transforming them into live large toys who would be willing to work day on end essentially being the company slaves who would have their human rights strepped away from them as there would be no more human left therefore the Sinister secret of playtime Co
has finally revealed to why they created these toys according to what Harley said all the toys were in fact employees who were transformed into these dolls to work for the company for free perform a lot of tasks at once and have their human rights taken away so they wouldn't be able to file any lawsuits at a theory back when chapter 1 came out that Huggy wuggy is supposed to to be a security guard guarding the facilities after closure this is in line with what Harley has suggested revealing that Huggy wagy used to be a human
security guard who was ultimately transformed into the brute Huggy wagy to guard the facilities after dark as the warning recording even suggests in chapter 1 that they have remarkable security measures with an alert centur authorities being the tamest of all implying that Hai wagi as the less tame security measure mommy L legs had also been transformed into a doll to perform tasks as revealed in a letter who became depressed and resentful against the company for turning care into a doll who would refuse to work for them but they ultimately Place her in the play area
where many orphans would be around her which would make her forget about herself and focus more on the children as she was a caring person as the tape recording ends a secret message appears from which seems to be toys asking the protagonist if he can hear them they instruct the protagonist to prove he can be trusted and that they will get in touch with him when the time is right this further aligns with the actions of puppy who despite being a dull herself acted against mummy L legs and Huggy Waggy depicting that not all toys
have the same interests and plans some haven't lost their intelligence like Mommy long legs but due to being abandoned for so long and being transformed into a dll regardless to her wishes she lost her mind wanting some company and other toys just like Huggy wagies below are simply just hungry and want to eat that's pretty much how the large Huggy acts as well as he's become instinctual he simply wants to eat therefore some long for food being abandoned in the long closed company who have been trapped and some long for company just like Mommy Long
Legs puppy's intentions on the other hand are unclear but she keeps saying that she wants to help others with others being other employees who had been turned into dolls seemingly now back to a question I raised earlier why does the company send an actual employees into the facilities rather than having yet automated to answer this question the simplest answer coming to mind is that it's not that simple and the employees need to manually find the toy parts and collect them but if that's so why have they been locked in Pillars with puzzles on them maybe
just maybe the toys themselves placed these toy parts in these pillars and protected them with puzzles so they employees can have a difficult time collecting them this also acts as a bait for more employees to come so the monsters can eat them the second theory I have is that the company sends the employees there rather than having it done automatically because the monsters have sabotaged the suction machine and other machineries something that the dolls have a special ability of doing therefore the company might not have Sinister their intentions they simply have no other choice than
to send these employees down this dangerous path the final Theory I have is more dark and Sinister there's a possibility that the company intentionally sends these employees to this monster redult facilities so the monsters could be fed the employees are muted by several ndas preventing them from ever uttering a word out to the public and possibly even not mentioning where they are to their family so when they're gone no one would know where they went and what happened to them the reason playtime Cod required these toy Parts though is that they want to create more
toys just like Huggy wuggy toys like him as part of their big buddi initiative commissioned by Harley Sawyer otherwise known as the doctor maybe another reason that these to toys want to kill these employees other than feeding on them is that they do not want more toys just like them to be created being tormented for eternity trapped in the bodies of dolls this depicts the cruelty of this company displayed in the disregarding tone of Le Pierre when talking about the employees dying and simply being hassled only by the thought that they need to look for
new employees to replace the already dead ones dismissing the fact that he would be endangering more lives treating them simply as tools for toy part collection and on the sener action for transforming more employees into them maybe the resource extraction employees are at the end doomed to be transformed into dolls themselves this portray are L Pier alongside many of the higher robes were fully aware and involved in experimenting on their employees to create dolls enslaved by them to work for eternity with no rights whatsoever according to the Future and what the secret message said the
big Buddy's initiative will fail which leads to the company's closure this makes the project Play Time seem to be taking place sometime back when the company was running with some of the facilities falling under the control of monstrous dlls who were failed experiments not being fully controlled this again is in line with what one of the scientist said in a VHS tape recording that the ones from below are coming up seemingly indicating they only took parts of the factory but eventually these experimented on humans becoming toys took over the company Harley Sawyer being referred to
as the doctor it also indicates that he is the major scientist in the company who experimented on humans and transformed them into the Monstrous toys being the founder of the big buddies initiative the evil man who dismissed all human rights and effectively created slaves who would be tasked with chores and work the others are [Music] hungry the others are starving get up they are trying to build more toys more like you it has to be stopped are you ready now something that was really intriguing to me was how the Monstrous voice guiding hugi wagi spoke
similarly to how the protagonist was encouraged after every time he died in the death screens the protagonist was told that the others are hungry or starving and he needs to get up exactly how Huggy wuggy was gued as a matter of fact the death screen texts had very similar way of speech to how the Monstrous voice inside hugi wagi directed him this might in a way suggest that the protagonist is indeed himself a dll who has an internal voice instructing him to get up and push on for whatever a purpose shout out to Tero for
