hey mike hill here with another video uh in the documentary series on what i'm launching and how to launch your own business hopefully you're getting something out of this you can always go through and scroll through the page and see some other videos but what we're going to talk about today is i'm going to show you how to identify where the money's at in a company's comp plan and then how you're going to strategically go after that because obviously you're not doing this because you have nothing better to do okay most of these businesses or
any business that you try is to generate some income so you can get some freedom right so you can pay some bills you can you can buy a new car you can pay off some debt whatever it might be your number is going to be different than my number so you know and there's no projection of incomes or anything like that i'm just going to show you some stuff as i go through it so we're going to go to my screen i'm going to probably do a little dry erase board on it and i'm going
to show you what i do when i look at a comp plan how i break down what it takes in that comp plan to get something going and then the stretch the strategy the strategic plan that i put together to start getting the numbers to get the exposures okay so that's kind of the purpose of this so let me cut to uh another part of the video and i'm gonna get you uh into that right now so uh take some notes get a pen and paper and let's go rock this thing okay so i'm gonna
take you to my screen here in a second um because i gotta uh i wanna go through and give you some things to look at specifically and like show you how i identify stuff and how you can do the same um i wrote something down or actually i heard it not too long ago and i thought this was amazing i just happened to be looking through some through some notes for this this video and it said uh because this is what you're what you're doing right now is i commend you if you're watching this uh
that you're learning some new skills and it says this the guy said this he said your future depends on your capacity to learn and your motivation to do so your future depends on your capacity to learn and your motivation to do so um and that's that's kind of that's that's kind of something that i really had to adopt adapt to or whatever adopt i believe it was the right term early on in my career that i was motivated to go do something and then i had to sit down and i had to learn it i
mean there's just people all the time that go i can't do what you do and i'm like you're right you can't and you never will because of that attitude that you're not going to learn new skills you're not going to become better at your thing your your trade or whatever right i mean the people that that see and learn versus the people who see and learn and apply are is the slight edge that separates the winners from the losers okay so so congratulations and uh let's go get this thing so all right so let me

i recently joined is a recently joined a company called snap delivered and snap delivered is a company that has to deal with food delivery okay so let me let me actually show you um uh their compensat their their presentation now the reason for this is this one is going to be about showing you the money okay so this is what i what i'm thinking so the first video i went through i showed you how i pick a market i pick a you know i look at a company i pick it and see if it's something
i can apply to so this one based on that and being in the delivery food food delivery service i thought well everybody's doing it they're probably going to keep doing it markets wide open there's already a an acceptance of it that kind of thing so let me see where their money is to see if it's worth my time and energy so what i do is they typically pull up a presentation their presentation and this is on page 10 of their presentation where they show that if you refer a restaurant um you make 40 cents for
every delivery of of or you know the order that goes out the door if you refer a driver you make 20 cents on every delivery and you make a dollar for every order a customer does all right so so that's kind of cool so it's just it's it's not doesn't seem like a lot at the moment right but obviously if you start doing the math so then what i did is i went in and i looked on page 11 of their presentation they actually have some uh income examples and their income examples in here is
this is if you refer 10 customers that did 10 orders and so on it'd be 2400 a month if you referred 20 drivers and they did the same at 24 100 and then 100 customers would be 800. so i'm looking at this from a capacity and again i'm not pitching you on this i'm just showing you if you follow this along um that the commissions would be 5600 a month if that worked out in a perfect world like that so they basically laid out a simple uh plan of something that that i looked at was
like i could probably get 10 restaurants i could probably get 20 drivers i could easily get 100 customers over a period of time so let's say it takes me six months or a year to get a fifty fifty six hundred dollar a month residual income you know it's it's totally worth it right it's like i'm gonna go i'm gonna go after this thing now the the next part that they had is on their next page of their uh opportunity is you can refer people so it's free to do this page right here so you can
get unlimited customers drivers and and restaurants but then if somebody upgrades for like 299 bucks to be a manager you can earn commission gener through a generation okay so that's cool and i thought okay that'd be great i can make some money doing that um by just doing what i do myself right okay so so let me point that out when i look at compensation plans the one thing that i always look at is i always look at fast start commissions i always look at what my my own personal efforts can net me because it
takes a while to grow a duplicating team right that's just and so many people have this uh quantum mindset these days these instant putting instant microwave popcorn want the results that they want that they don't understand that it's going to take a while to get to that nice bigger residual incomes the ones that they brag about on stage and you see the guys with the six figure monthly incomes so however you have to eat on the way to that right you have to eat on the way to that so what i look for is what
can i do because one of the things that i've always learned to do was uh focus on the things i can control not the things i can't control i can't control if i get somebody in if they're going to go duplicate i can't control they get somebody in if they're going to go uh you know um get customers and build a team that guy so so i don't i don't necessarily focus on that to a degree i spent pretty much uh probably 70 maybe even as much as 80 or more of my time in per
personal activity because the new blood's always a lifeblood right whether it's anything you're doing so by by focusing on that what that's allowing me to do is continue my enthusiasm of getting paid like i know that if i sell a sell a product i get a commission right dunsey okay if that's all i did was do that i'm good right like a lot of people they just don't understand that i mean the last company that i was in what i did was i focused on personal recruiting because i knew that if i could sell a
membership to what that what that company offered uh that i would earn xyz amount of money like i'd make like 800 bucks or something like that and by doing that i knew that if i just got a couple of those in a month it'd be awesome if they went out and duplicated that would be even better but i just understood that i could get something going and it would build a residual income and it did and i ended up making quite a bit of money by doing it that way so looking at this i'm looking
at how can i get the most bang for my buck would work myself do what i need to do to get this thing going okay so that's that's how i looked at it now let me take you to um what i what i decided to do so i'm going to show you my back office here just so you know that this is from scratch okay because this is about a documentary and kind of going through a case study of what i'm doing so in my back office of snap delivery you can see i haven't made
a penny okay and i just got in a couple days ago so if you look at my genealogy i got nine people in here okay um that's it i've got nine customers basically people that enrolled for free and whether they upgrade or not i don't know um i'm assuming these people i'm going to talk to them and get these people as either wraps you know that are going to go out and build a thing or they're going to just be customers or maybe they'll refer a restaurant or whatever right so so that's how i kind
of wanted to show you this in the back office here now if i go to what i what i do is this so let me um let me go to dry erase board time because i wanted to i kind of wanted to do this that way you could kind of see an example and if i'm banging my mic i apologize but um so what i typically do and hopefully you can see this is i think to myself okay so the name of the game is to get as many people talking about or seeing this as
they possibly can so whoever tells the story the most wins right so what i like to typically do is i always look for uh what is this the tool what is the tool that's going to tell my story the best what is the tool that's going to tell my story the best whether it's a recorded audio you know a text message a video whatever and i typically lean towards um a landing page or a video video presentation page so that's a that's kind of my landing page right so i have a landing page we'll go
lp for landing page that unless sometimes a company will already have one pre-made but in most cases they don't have enough stuff on here or too much stuff on a page that makes it hard to understand so i typically have a short video at the top with a little bit of text right some stuff that in there and then i usually have a longer presentation here a little bit of text and then i always have like a call to action so if i extend this so there's a section on here okay so so the purpose
for this and let me show you the example of what i what i did was i created this page right here using click funnels and if you ever want any of my pages you can just ask me and i will send you the link and you can download them and they'll upload exactly as i have them in your back office and you just tweak my videos for your videos that kind of thing so on here i just have basically a headline and then i've got a short video that if somebody watches the video it explains
a little bit about snap and how they save the businesses and and stuff money they've saved the restaurants uh money on deliveries which is the kind of the reason for this i have a little bit of like history teaches us did you know and it's just kind of hinting towards the industry and then what i always do is i do i usually do a long present a presentation an overview of a company and then i put it here and then i always have um a button that directs them now the other thing too is i
put a little bit hey why would you work with me and it doesn't matter you don't have to have the kind of experience i have but just kind of a little uh you know thing and i always have places down here for people to contact me call me text me schedule a zoom that kind of thing another enrollment button and i usually have testimonies and then i always put disclaimers at the bottom of a page okay so all that being said what i've done is i created the page that i'm going to direct all the
traffic to so so this right here is kind of what i would consider my mothership right from here once i've created my mothership i'm now going to and this is what we're going to do in probably the next video or so is i now create all of the um the uh content the the the content all the content things all of the platforms that i'm going to to use here for my traffic and what i mean by traffic it's going to be organic and paid traffic that i'm going to use to use to drive eyeballs
to go see this now one other thing what's nice is a lot of times i'll test different things i'm going to show you that this real quick is there's also i used jotform uh if you're not familiar with jotform jotforms are free you can get it for free and you can create free landing pages um and i use these a lot of times for like if we do events that's what i primarily got them for but i've started to use some of these as a as as forms for advertising like on craigslist right so so
this one i made on jotform and what i did is i just a guy gave me his link to his and you can upload it and it will change it instantly to be in your bag in your jot form and it's done you don't have to build it or anything so i could give you this but video reveals currently unknown secret it's got that short thing and then there's an application button here and so somebody clicks on the application so let's say i ran a short uh craigslist ad and this is just an example and
then i'll give you details in probably the next video if i clicked on application if i saw let's say i was a person and i saw craigslist ad at looking for drivers for a new it's a new food delivery thing i go here and boom it's gonna have you know have you ever worked with restaurants it's got a short questionnaire with their name enough information and then when you click submit it'll automatically you know create a a thank you form where you can give them your information but most importantly as soon as somebody clicks submit
that form that information goes straight to your inbox so if you you have set that up correctly uh well which you you can you set it up and it'll just get there and so now you have an instant lead of somebody from an ad or a facebook page or twitter post or whatever that goes right here to to see this and now by by doing that now you've got the ability to follow up with them immediately okay so i use i use multiple things because it's the same thing that i just i just drew out
for you for you here it's this one i that i personally created the first one i showed you is just so that i can um get uh get get more kind of you know i'm looking more for team people people that are i'm gonna go after the majority of people my team people and what i'm gonna do with the application side of it is i'm gonna use different types of um easy very inexpensive ads like on facebook specifically probably a couple youtube i'll show you exactly how to do those in the next couple videos to
get these leads now ultimately what i'm trying to do ultimately what i'm trying to do is i know that if i can get traffic to go here if i can get just about a hundred people per day that see just see this page that view it that view it that if i've that i've targeted targeted them correctly i usually get between a five and as much as a 20 um enrollment rate especially since we got a it's a free program i'm more than likely gonna get it between a five and twenty percent enrollment program so
that means that if i'm looking to build those numbers that i showed you in the comp plan within uh a couple weeks i should almost have those numbers built up at least from that and i'll get you know even if i did five a day uh five times five is 25 right so if i was looking for the customers and stuff like that i've already i'm only a week or two away from from getting that done like for in a month's period i would have my 100 customers and then i would be going and i'm
going to do the same simple thing for restaurants as well so what's going to happen is i'm going to take um the information the pages and i'm going to drive traffic to it to get the eyeballs to look at it i'm going to show you that in the next probably next couple videos um to do it because i've done i've done exactly the same thing multiple times and then i'm going to show i'm going to show you obviously plenty of free ways to get free ways to get eyeballs on what you're doing okay so so
so if you hang with me in the next couple videos you're gonna see that there's some significant stuff to be done here and it's you can like i said before you can apply this to anything because this is this is like the fourth or fifth company i've done this exact thing strategy with and it's never failed to pay out some very good significant money and i'm still getting paid on quite a few of these uh so this is just me looking at another income stream because you just never know what's gonna happen with the other
ones uh so i i've learned a lot i learned my lesson the hard way about only having one income stream and i won't do it again i don't necessarily need to make make a million dollars a month in one company and it just pop poof i wouldn't mind making five to ten a thousand dollars a month in multiple companies uh so that's kind of what i'm looking at but i'm not so don't be don't be sending me a bunch of stuff by the way and pitching me on things because i already i plenty of people
do that already but i'm just i'm just showing you what i'm going to focus on right now um because i think there's some i know there's something significant here uh with what we got what i got my hands on but i'm going to just keep documenting this and show it to you so i showed you the back office you saw i had a little you know hardly anything going on right there so we're gonna give it a shot and see how i uh pull this one off as well so uh anyhow make sure you um
