All right. So, let's start. Caro.
Uh, first of all, congratulations for finishing the course. So, you can start by introducing yourself. >> Okay.
Hi, my name is Carol or Carol. I work as a nanny. Like, I'm doing exchange.
They say it's a student exchange, but it's not. It's a work exchange. And I work as a nanny.
44 hours. 45 hours per week. >> Wow.
>> Yeah. At least I'm I I'm being paid for it. That's the the only good part.
Um yeah, that's it. I live in a very small city in Brazil uh in Buas. >> Mhm.
>> And I think that's it. Do you want to know anything else? >> Yeah.
You said you started learning actually studying hard in 2025. >> Uh how was this? How did you start studying?
>> You started with a course or any other >> uh yeah too like I started with your course too but before it and the thing is I I started to learn English when I was around 13 years old. Uh I was living in Germany. I lived there per one year and I study in Luxmbourg, not Germany but I and I was living in Germany and studying Luxmbourg learning French but I had um a student classroom and uh classmates >> and yeah and they speak English and uh we couldn't communicate with each other in other langage.
language because no one there uh could speak French yet because we were starting the class. So I started to try to communicate with them like doing for example uh let's and then the girl said eat and I said eat. So I started to learn like that like I couldn't say anything like just uh hi how are you my name is Ko and uh verb to be that's everything that I knew >> and before the course ko did you did you have something you you struggled more and then you learned with the course?
Yeah, I really like the course because uh I don't know if you can you can realize it while I talk with you, but I always feel that I don't translate anymore in my head. Like I can uh speak English without translate, but I feel like I'm always saying something wrong. I know this that's just because I'm insecure probably.
Uh, but I'm always I always stop and I think because not because I need to translate, but because I think what I'm saying is wrong, you know, like um or I stop and think or I say something and then I say it again because I think the way that I said it's not right and sometimes I I think I say right and I say wrong and then I say right again because I I I am always insecure and trying to find the right thing. The thing is I never really study before your course like uh so I knew how to communicate with people but I never really really studied. So I I didn't knew was I didn't know exactly how to say uh for example words in the past >> because I I I could see people saying that but I couldn't realize are you saying like this because it is in the past or are you saying like that because you know I don't know like what is it like present simple past simple I don't know I don't even know in Portuguese.
Uh so I I felt always really really insecure with those things and some of course some things I saw in the course and I said oh I already know that and that was good because now I feel more secure to to speak with that and some things I didn't know and I I learned in the course. >> Mhm. So communication became more let's say intentional like you now you know that you are speaking right and when you make mistakes you know right after you say >> oh I made a mistake >> yeah perfect yeah >> that's good that's good made you more confident I like it >> yeah exactly exactly it was really really good >> uhhuh and you said you you were searching for courses.
Why did you choose the verada when you bought it? Because we have >> Because of the mech. >> Because of what?
>> Mech. >> Ah, the certificate. >> Yeah.
>> Ah, nice. That's good. You're going to need it.
>> Yeah. Yeah. I saw um I don't know I don't remember the the guy name but it was on YouTube and he made a video like um doing a kind of hanking of of course cars and he talked about three cars and he talked about yours and in that list yours I think I don't remember which was your collocation but uh I remember that yours was the only with the certification Mac certification.
>> Yes, that's it.
