International Spiritist Council (ISC) Mediumship Study Series Every individual who senses the influence of spirits to any degree of intensity is a medium. This faculty is inherent in humankind. It therefore does not constitute an exclusive privilege.
"The Mediums' Book," Chapter XIV, item 159 THE DYNAMICS OF FLUIDS AND THE STRUCTURE OF THE PERISPIRIT Hello, dear friends. A very warm welcome to you all to our program, which is part of the Mediumship Study Series of the International Spiritist Council. It is always worth remembering that this program is an initiative of the ISC's Study and Practice of Mediumship area, dedicated to serious, responsible study grounded in Spiritist works, always in light of the guidance of higher spirits.
This wonderful study is led by our companion Jacobson Trovão, whom we all thank for his dedication and insight. Jacobson, how are you today? Márcia, I am very grateful, and always very grateful to the ISC.
Taking part in this study series has been a great learning experience for me. I would like to thank you personally and the entire ISC team. Thank you.
I echo your words, thanking the entire team behind this work. And just a reminder for everyone: our meetings are weekly, always on Tuesdays. And to make things easier for everyone, we always recommend subscribing to the channel and "clicking" (I think that is the word) the notification bell to receive notifications about upcoming episodes.
During the program, you can always see on the right, a QR code at the bottom of the screen, which you can use to send your questions, as well as your comments and ideas, at any time, both now, while we are streaming live, or later, if you watch the recording. We use the same QR code to collect your comments. You can also use the chat.
We would also like to remind you that each topic includes a special episode dedicated to answering your questions. And we must also mention how grateful and happy we are, because our program, originally produced in Portuguese, is being subtitled in several languages: English, Spanish, Italian, German, and Dutch. This has been possible through the joint efforts of the various Spiritist federations that make up the ISC.
Jacobson, today we are beginning the seventh topic, entitled "The Dynamics of Fluids and the Structure of the Perispirit. " And so, we would like to talk briefly about the previous six topics, to give you an idea of this long-term purpose, of the long journey that brought us here, and which we'll continue, of course. Throughout these first six topics, divided into several episodes, all led by our friend Jacobson, we have developed a progressive understanding of this faculty known as mediumship, as a universal faculty of the evolving spirit, that is, you and me.
We began with the topic of spiritual ascendants, in which Jacobson explained, and we came to understand, that mediumship is not an isolated phenomenon, but a natural expression of the incarnate and discarnate mind in constant interaction. Next, we studied its achievements and challenges. And we realized that the true outcome of mediumistic practice depends more on moral conduct than on the faculty itself.
Next, we looked more closely at childhood and youth, recognizing mediumship as a developing potential that requires care, guidance and maturity, and then moved on to study the process of understanding mediumship as a very important factor in renewing the immortal being. It is important to note that through this study, we came to understand that learning is also a factor in our transformation. Jacobson then spoke about mediumistic experience, and through this study, we further consolidated the idea that mediumistic practice is inseparable from daily life.
In other words, it requires discipline, vigilance and self-knowledge. In the last topic, Jacobson explored more deeply the core of spiritual connection, namely mental attunement. Through these studies and episodes, we came to understand that thoughts, emotions, and moral choices, all these elements, determine patterns of spiritual affinity and establish fields of influence and perception.
Mediumship was thus understood less as a phenomenon and more as a state of consciousness that is constantly developing. This brings us today to the very important topic of the dynamics of fluids and the structure of the perispirit. So, I am very happy to be here with you, learning alongside Jacobson about fluid as a means of interaction, the fluidic field, and the spiritual body, which together sustain communication among mind, spirit, and matter.
Jacobson, I would like to thank you in advance for all the work that will unfold beginning today. The floor is yours. Thank you very much.
Thank you, Márcia, my dear friend and sister. You put it very well. The subject of fluids has practical implications.
This study has very practical implications, and we certainly cannot understand the mediumistic phenomenon without understanding fluids. Precisely because fluid has, as one of its functions, to enable the expression of thought. So, fluid is the medium that enables communication among spirits.
It is also the medium that enables the perispirit to act upon the physical body. Therefore, understanding fluids means understanding the dynamics of life, both in the physical dimension and in the spirit dimension. Practicing mediumship without understanding fluids is like navigating in the dark.
Even in a mediumistic meeting, we are constantly dealing with fluidic matter, and many details often go unnoticed. That is why it is important to return to this subject, because it helps us understand the process of our relationships among incarnate individuals, among discarnate spirits, and between incarnate and discarnate spirits. The constitution of the perispiritual body after death, its beauty or deformity.
And while we are incarnate, health and illness, the heartbeat, the movement of the hands, all of this occurs because fluids exist. So, the phenomena involving fluids is far broader than simply the movement of an object, or a psychophonic trance, because we are immersed in a fluidic universe. Kardec's study of this subject is undoubtedly consolidates our understanding of this universal dynamic.
Kardec essentially studies fluids in three books of the Codification. In "The Spirits' Book," beginning with question 22, he discusses fluids; in "The Mediums' Book," beginning with item 74; and in Chapter 14 of "Genesis. " So, we need to study these three books to gain an overall understanding of fluids.
Of course, he also addresses this subject in "Revue Spirite. " There is a great deal of material on fluids in "Revue Spirite," but the subject is essentially consolidated in these three books. So, we need to revisit this subject to understand the dynamics of fluids in the universe and how deeply they affect us as human beings and as spiritual beings.
Kardec began exploring the question of fluids when he started questioning the spirits during his earliest research about how an immaterial being, which was how people understood a spirit, move a table. That seemed impossible. How could a being outside the body, with no means of interacting with matter, move an object?
So, he began investigating this. Many of these questions, and the process of formulating them, are found in item 74 of "The Mediums' Book," where he consults the Spirit Saint Louis about the innermost nature of matter in order to understand how, while observing the phenomena, a table could move and how raps could answer questions. He saw, for example, the keys of a piano moving, and sometimes he saw the spirits' hands on the keys, materialized and pressing them down.
So, he asked the spirits whether the movement of the keys was caused by the force of the spirit's hands? Surprisingly, the reply was no: "We do not touch the piano keys with our hands because we no longer have hands, physical hands. " So, how are you able to move objects?
The spirits replied that it is through thought. But how, if thought is also something abstract, almost nonexistent? The explanation they gave was no: thought is capable of acting upon matter, but in a state of matter unknown to you and for which there is no suitable name to describe that state of matter.
Further questions are then asked and recorded by Kardec in "The Spirits' Book. " I will read a few of them here to help us develop this line of thought. In question 22 of "The Spirits' Book," he begins by asking what matter is, because the spirit had said that there were different states of matter.
Solid, liquid, and gaseous were essentially the states understood at the time. Kardec asks: "Matter is generally defined as that which has extension; that which can impress our senses; that which is impenetrable. Are these definitions correct?
" That was the scientific understanding at the time. In other words, matter was what we could see, touch, feel on our skin, and hear. Matter was what impressed our senses.
In other words, what we perceive with our senses and what is impenetrable, because there was this idea that matter was impenetrable. Today, we know about atoms, subatomic particles, and so on, but at the time, matter was considered impenetrable. The spirit explains: "From your own point of view, they are correct, because you can only talk about matters that are familiar to you.
Matter, however, also exists in states that are unfamiliar to you. " That is the spirits' explanation. "For example, it may be so ethereal and subtle that your senses cannot detect it; it is matter nonetheless, even though you do not perceive it as such.
" Considering the scientific understanding that matter is what we can touch, see, and feel, the spirit explained that there are states of matter that we cannot touch or feel on our skin or grasp with our hands, yet they are still matter. This was very advanced knowledge for that time, and even for today, since science has not progressed very far in understanding states of matter beyond the basic ones and the radiant state, for example, along with some theories in that regard. Kardec began conversing with the spirits using the language available at the time.
In question 27-a, he asks: "Might this fluid be what we call electricity? " Electricity was seen as something extremely subtle. The first studies of electricity were underway.
Communication through electrical impulses took place through the telegraph. There was little understanding of electricity itself, and it was considered the subtlest form of matter in existence. The spirit tells Kardec: "We have stated that it is capable of countless combinations.
" In other words, the fluid combines to form structures and different substances, and it combines with itself. What we call the electric fluid and the magnetic fluid are modifications of the universal fluid, which, strictly speaking, is nothing other than a perfect and subtler matter that may be considered independent. The universal fluid.
Now, Kardec was a scientist, and from a scientific perspective, or in scientific work, when something new is encountered, it must be classified and given a name. So, this universal fluid was named the universal cosmic fluid. Because, in fact, it was a name given to it, so to speak.
The words "fluid," "cosmic," and "universal" describe anunknown state of matter for which there is no word that truly defines it, simply because our knowledge is inferior to the knowledge of higher spirits and the higher levels of universal knowledge, where spirits possess knowledge unknown to us. There is knowledge in the universe that remains beyond our reach. This difficulty with words still appears today in the psychographed works of Chico, Divaldo, and Yvonne.
Spirits often mention this difficulty in defining certain phenomena, objects, or events in the spirit world and in spirit life, because we lack the terminology for realities so far removed from ours. Imagine that we visit an Indigenous community whose people have lived in that environment for generations. And we try to explain to one of its members a university, the buildings of a city, things they have never seen.
There is no word in their vocabulary that defines the buildings of a modern city. Those who have lived in isolation there would not understand. Our position is somewhat similar, if not even more limited, given the advancement of knowledge in the spirit world.
So, spirits use words that identify the object but do not provide a clear definition. For example, "universal cosmic fluid. " Taken word by word, the expression does not define this state of matter, except intuitively.
The word "fluid" comes from the Latin and means "that which flows. " A fluid has no fixed form and can be molded and transformed. "Cosmic" comes from the Greek "cosmos," meaning "universe.
" It indicates that this fluid belongs to the universe as a whole, encompassing all of creation. "Universal" comes from the Latin "universalis," meaning "extending to everything" and "common to all," and present everywhere. So, this fluid is throughout the universe and common to all creation.
Thus, fluid means a subtle, moldable substance; cosmic means belonging to the universe; and universal means present everywhere and common to all creation. But this still does not define that state of matter. It has been named and identified.
It exists. But what it actually is and what it is made of remain unknown. What will be explained next is that it can combine with itself and give rise to every form of matter.
We should remember that God created two general elements: spirit and matter. Everything that is not spirit is matter, strictly speaking. Nor has the nature of spirit been clearly defined.
We are only told that it is not matter. But what is spirit? That remains to be clarified.
The spirits describe it as a flame, a light, or something similar. We therefore come to understand these two elements by exclusion: what is not spirit is matter. This broadens the meaning of "matter" to include completely different states.
How could a single form of matter, originally created, give rise to all the types of matter and substances we know? In the periodic table, for example, atoms are variations or combinations of the atoms themselves, from helium gas, the simplest, as more atoms and electrons are added, which are essentially the same, other substances are formed. Carbon would have many more atoms and electrons, but their nature, the nature of the atom, would be the same, showing that certain structures, depending on their arrangement and combination, can form different substances.
Oxygen and water share common atomic principles. The difference lies in the number of atoms in the substance, protons, neutrons, and electrons, which form the whole and define the substance. This gives us a general idea of what the spirits mean when they state that the universal cosmic fluid, when combined with itself, gives rise to many different substances.
Again, in chemistry, we have the periodic table, which shows precisely this combination of common elements that give rise to completely different substances with completely different functions. This is what the spirit states here: it is capable of countless combinations. And examples of these combinations are given: the electric fluid and the magnetic fluid are derivatives of primordial matter, which is the universal cosmic fluid.
Then, in question 29 of "The Spirits' Book," Kardec asks: "Is ponderability an essential attribute of matter? " So, when we speak of matter, we must think about physical matter and other states of matter, including the matter that forms the spirit dimension, such as spirits' clothing. Kardec often asked how spirits were dressed.
It is a variation of the universal cosmic fluid that gives rise to that substance. Objects that exist in the spirit world are constructions or creations formed from the universal cosmic fluid. Here, he wants to know whether weight, that is, ponderability, is an essential attribute of matter.
In other words, must matter have weight? The spirits reply: "Of matter as you understand it, yes, but not of matter considered as the universal fluid. It would not have the weight that we attribute to objects in the physical dimension.
“The ethereal matter…” the spirits continue, “the ethereal and subtle matter that forms this fluid is imponderable to you, but is nevertheless the principle of your ponderable matter. ” So, the word "matter" takes on a very broad meaning. Now, when we think of matter, we cannot think only of matter in terms of the objects we see and touch, but also of what cannot be perceived by the five basic physical senses: sight, touch, hearing, and so on.
Yet this subtle, ethereal matter, this fluid, which has no weight for you, can be perceived through one of our senses: the spiritual sense. The mediumistic faculty is what enables us to sense fluid. So, if I try to understand or perceive fluid through the five basic senses, I will not detect it, because the five organic senses are equipped to perceive objects of the same density in the physical dimension.
Is the spirit dimension perceptible to human beings? Yes. How do we perceive it?
Through the mediumistic faculty. Every individual who senses the influence of spirits to any degree of intensity is a medium. So, the word "senses" here does not refer to the physical senses, but to a spiritual sense.
It is through this spiritual sense that we perceive fluid. That is why it is important to know it exists. Because we are constantly acting upon this fluid, the universal cosmic fluid.
So, understanding fluid helps us understand what we sense. Sometimes what we sense is not the presence of a spirit. We sense the presence of a fluid, using the word "sense" here in a spiritual sense.
If I use the word “sense” to mean organic perception, I will not understand it, which is the main problem for people who try to define a medium in terms of sight, hearing, and touch. Those senses are not designed for spiritual perception. They were not made for that.
They are useful to us while we are incarnate. Once we leave the physical dimension, they no longer act upon the spirit. So, where is the spiritual sense?
In the spirit, which gives it perception and also gives us, while incarnate, the ability to perceive fluids, the fluids of environments and people. Kardec continues this study in question 30, where he asks: "Does matter consist of one or many elements? " The answer states that matter consists of one primitive element, a single primitive element.
"The bodies you regard as simple are not true elements, but rather transformations of the one primitive matter. " This is the periodic table example I mentioned, the elements of the periodic table, such as helium, hydrogen, oxygen, carbon, and the other substances. All these elements are transformations of that primitive matter.
In question 33, Kardec asks: Regarding the cosmic fluid, Kardec asks: "Is the same elementary matter capable of undergoing all possible modifications and acquiring all possible properties? " Based on the answer, Kardec offers the following analysis: "Oxygen, hydrogen, nitrogen, carbon, and all the other elements we consider simple are only modifications of the one primitive matter. Given that we are still unable to trace it back, except in thought, to this primitive matter, these substances are, for us, true elements, and we may, without any major consequences, regard them as such.
" That is why I said that we will understand the universal cosmic fluid more through intuition than through a definition of an unknown state because we lack the words to define it. That is why Kardec says: "Given that we are still unable to trace it back," that is, in our current state and with our scientific knowledge, "except in thought, these substances to this primitive matter, are, for us, true elements. " So, when you see an object in the spirit dimension, it has a fluidic nature.
It is matter. This is very important to understand in terms of matter, because, as I said, matter is what impresses our senses according to that definition, not only the human, organic senses. We can also apply the same analysis to the perception of the spirit dimension.
The spirit dimension impresses us, as I said, through the spiritual sense. So, matter, whether in the physical or spirit dimension, is concrete because it can impress one of our senses. There is matter in the physical dimension and matter in the spirit dimension.
Both are concrete for those who exist in that state. For us, while incarnate, the walls of the "Nosso Lar" colony, which are described in André Luiz's book "Nosso Lar," include a wall that surrounds the spirit colony of "Nosso Lar," located in the region known as the Umbral. That wall, for us here, does not exist because it does not impress our physical senses.
We are in a state of material vibration much denser than that wall of the spirit colony "Nosso Lar. " But for the inhabitants of that place, that is, the discarnate spirits, the wall is as solid as the walls around us. They cannot pass through it.
It is dense. So, the matter that forms the wall of "Nosso Lar" does indeed impress the spiritual senses of discarnate spirits. Even we, if our spirits become emancipated at night while we sleep, and visit the "Nosso Lar" colony, will also be restricted by the wall, because we will be there in that condition, at the same level and state, under the same conditions.
That is why we, as students of Spiritism, must move beyond the expressions "material world" and "spirit world. " There is only one world, the one in which we live. However, there are variations in the state of matter, which place us in different dimensions.
The same universal cosmic fluid creates the walls of the city of "Nosso Lar. " The same universal fluid creates the atomic elements that form the walls of our homes. It is the same fluid.
So, what is the difference? The state in which it exists. We should use the term "dimension," not "world.
" The word "world" suggests something separate, does it not? If we consider that the universe is fluidic, with matter in different states, it becomes clear that we live in different dimensions at the same time, while incarnate. Why?
The universal cosmic fluid surrounds us. It is in everything and permeates everything. When we speak of matter today, we must remember that the matter we touch is actually condensed energy, with vast interatomic spaces that we do not perceive.
At the infinitesimal level, interatomic spaces are immense and widely separated. What fills those interatomic spaces? The cosmic fluid, which undergoes changes to give rise to atomic and subatomic elements.
We live in an environment with different states of matter, and both affect us. We must imagine, as an intuitive exercise, that we are immersed in a vast ocean. The water is the cosmic fluid.
It is in everything, permeates everything, and truly forms everything. The spirits do not explain how these changes occur because we lack the language to understand them. But we are subject to a dual influence: that of the physical and spirit environments.
We live in both a physical and a spirit environment. Hence the expression: we are beings who exist simultaneously in different dimensions. At night, while we sleep, we leave the body and temporarily live as spirits in the spirit dimension, even within our homes.
If you left your body right now, where would you be? In the spirit dimension, in the spirit world. The spirit world, the spirit dimension, is not somewhere else.
It is right here. Where are we? That is why spirits are everywhere, because they live in the spirit dimension.
In this way, we begin to understand that this concrete state of matter is real to spirits. In mediumistic practice, we hear spirits say that they see something. Some say they see that they are trapped in certain objects, such as the metal parts of a car.
To us, that may seem imaginary, to spirits, it is not. It is real, and we must treat it as real, not as imaginary, because it is concrete for those in that dimension. If we do not understand this intuitively, we make mistakes.
So, we need to consider our involvement in the fluidic state, because our body is also formed from the same universal cosmic fluid. Why is it so easy for us to perceive the fluids around us? Because we have a fluidic body.
The perispirit is of the same nature as the fluids around us. It is easy to see that the two substances, the one that forms my perispirit and the fluid around us, associate and interpenetrate. Our perception of fluids is continuous and transmits everything to the physical body, because the physical body is actually an aggregate of energy.
It is fluidic matter in a denser state than the perispirit. The perispirit and physical body are both matter, in different states, like ice and water, different states of matter, but the same substance. Ice and water.
The physical body and perispirit are like ice and water. In other words, Communication is continuous. Why?
Because they have the same nature. They are not fundamentally different. That is why one environment may bring well-being, while another brings discomfort, anxiety, or peace.
"This environment brought me peace. " "That environment brought me anxiety. " That is fluidic influence.
Often, it is not spirits; it is your perception of the fluids in the environment. As I said, this is natural for human beings, because the fluid around us, the perispiritual body, and physical body are formed from the same substance, the universal cosmic fluid. This demonstrates the mediumistic condition common to all human beings in their relationship with matter.
In question 282 of "The Spirits' Book," Kardec asks a very interesting question, continuing the analysis of the consequences of the existence of fluid and the dynamics of fluid in our lives. In question 282, he asks: "How do spirits communicate with one another? " In other words, do spirits converse?
The answer: "They see and comprehend one another. Speech is material: it is a reflection of the spirit. The universal fluid establishes a constant communication among them; it is the vehicle for the transmission of thought, as the air is for you the vehicle for sound.
It is a sort of universal telegraph line. " Here again, the spirit uses a word that could not fully explain it, because, at the time, the most advanced means of communication was the telegraph. Today, many people do not even know what a telegraph is.
We might now say, "It is a sort of universal telephone that connects all worlds and enables spirits to communicate from one world to another. " Here he raises something extremely interesting. Spirits communicate through thought.
This idea is later developed in "The Mediums' Book," in a remarkable passage by Erastus and Timothy, when they discuss communication, the basis of mediumistic transmission. Here, however, the subject is universal communication among spirits, not mediumistic communication itself. Thought travels through fluid, as sound travels through air and electricity travels through the telegraph, or today, through the communication devices we know, by means of Hertzian waves that become attuned and have a medium through which they travel.
Now, regarding the spirit's statement to Kardec, "The universal fluid establishes a constant communication among them," we must understand this in two ways. First, it is not "them. " It is us.
Of course, the spirit was presenting the idea in objective terms, without including itself, because the language is more scientific: "they, the spirits. " But in fact, it means "we, the spirits," because we are spirits, whether incarnate or discarnate. This communication through fluid is constant.
It is always taking place. In other words, we are constantly communicating through fluids. The question is with whom we communicate through thought.
It is worth recalling that question 459 of "The Spirits' Book" is very complex. It has extremely important implications, because the answer states that spirits continually influence us and that it is common for them to guide us. This follows directly from the idea that communication among spirits is constant.
It is a fact. That is why the influence is constant, whether from good or imperfect spirits. It depends on whom I become attuned to.
The fluid around us, like the air, enables communication. So, a spirit does not speak with its mouth. It communicates through thought.
Actually, moving the mouth while speaking, as we do while incarnate, may be carried over after discarnation out of habit and because of the spirit's stage of evolution. This does not mean that pure spirits would necessarily use a physical voice, because communication is much faster and more natural through thought. This does not mean they could not do so, because we have very little information about those conditions.
But this statement tells us that communication is constant and fluid is the vehicle for the transmission of thought. That is why Emmanuel says that we absorb thoughts. How do these thoughts reach us?
Through fluid. At the beginning of the answer, the spirit makes an interesting point: "They see and comprehend one another. " So, spirits' vision is also made possible by the cosmic fluid, the environment in which they live, so to speak, the atmosphere in which spirits live, the atmosphere in which they dwell.
This atmosphere exists on different planets. Earth has a fluidic atmosphere that surrounds the planet, where most of its inhabitants live, because we know that two-thirds of Earth's inhabitants are outside physical bodies. They therefore live in an organized environment.
André Luiz explains this when he describes spirit colonies, which reflect the organization of society in the spirit world. He also describes, for example, the Umbral, showing how the gathering of imperfect spirits creates an environment shaped by the mental emanations of those spirits. That is why the Umbral described by André Luiz is created by those who live in that environment and are magnetically drawn to it.
The Umbral is a fluidic construction. "Nosso Lar" is a fluidic construction. How was it built?
Through thought, because spirits do not use their hands to build structures in the spirit world. They use thought and will. Some spirits had the will to create the colony "Nosso Lar.
" Other spirits, drawn to the same region through magnetic bonds, created the place known as the Umbral. This is very interesting, because in the March 1858 issue of "Revue Spirite," Kardec presents a very interesting study in an article about Jupiter and other worlds. He proposes a logical exercise and says: "It is logical that if pure spirits gather, the environment will be balanced, healthy, and luminous, because the radiation of their thoughts acts upon the fluids of the place where they live and gather.
" He applies the same reasoning to imperfect spirits. He states that the gathering of imperfect spirits can create an atmosphere of great disturbance. In Chapter 14 of "Genesis," when Kardec examines fluids, he says something very important about the gathering of imperfect spirits and its effect on the surrounding fluids.
In item 45 of Chapter 14 of "Genesis," Kardec writes: "Evil spirits swarm all around the earth as a result of the moral backwardness of its inhabitants. The malevolent action of such spirits makes up part of the calamities to which humankind is exposed on this world. Obsession is one of the effects of this action.
" Evil spirits swarm around the Earth because, generally speaking, the inhabitants of Earth are imperfect spirits, not necessarily evil, although evil spirits do exist in great numbers. So, returning to the March 1858 article in "Revue Spirite," where Kardec discusses Jupiter, and applies this logical reasoning, if these evil spirits who swarm around the Earth gather in one environment, their thoughts alter the fluids there, making the environment dark and disturbing. This is what André Luiz describes and calls the Umbral, a word he used in an attempt to explain that environment.
This shows that in both the physical and spirit dimensions, or the spirit dimension, thought acts upon fluids and alters them. To conclude today's program, let us consider question 283 of "The Spirits' Book," where Kardec asks: "Can spirits disguise their thoughts and hide themselves from each other? " The answer is no.
This, Márcia, is one of the challenges of our existence: spirits cannot hide their thoughts from one another. Of course, an imperfect spirit cannot see a higher spirit's thoughts, but an imperfect spirit sees the thoughts of those at the same stage of evolution. Higher spirits can see the thoughts of imperfect spirits.
This means that spirits similar to us, and I am not referring to you, because you are a more prepared, more evolved spirit, but to myself, can often see my thoughts because we are on the same psychic level. So, we cannot hide them. This is serious.
That is why spirits accompany us: they can see our thoughts. The spirit continues, telling Kardec: "No, everything is out in the open for them, especially when they are perfect. They may be apart from each other, but they always see each other.
This is not an absolute rule, however, since certain spirits can very easily make themselves invisible to others if they deem it useful. " This occurs when highly evolved spirits have mastered thought. That is why we do not see a highly evolved spirit, while it is very common to see an imperfect spirit that is closer to our range of perception.
In the next episode, I will continue discussing fluid. We will explore a little further, Márcia, the nature of fluids through "Genesis," to observe their more direct action. Thank you, my sister, and thank you, my friends.
Thank you. This entire question of the range in which we live through our thoughts is fascinating, is it not? And how we need to understand it in order to overcome what we commonly call the fear of ghosts, the fear of spiritual proximity.
We know this fear is unnecessary. It depends on us. But, Jacobson, I will not add anything that might dilute or distort your words.
We are all grateful for all these illustrations. Once again, a reminder: send your questions using the QR code that has been available on the screen throughout the episode. If you watch the episode later or cannot join the live stream, during the week, you can use the same QR code to send us your comments and questions.
