Dreams and Visions - The Language of the Holy Spirit

[music] What a beautiful Lord we serve and to Jesus be the Lord. I really mean that. I don't just say these words just to say words.

I mean it. All the glory belongs to Jesus. And God's people said amen.

Amen. And amen. And with me today is Lucas to help us with the word.

I have been talking to you about dreams and visions because I believe God wants to speak to us through dreams and visions. You know, dreams and visions are the language of the Holy Spirit. Now Lord, I pray today you'll show your people your word.

And Lord, yes, begin to speak to your people today in dreams, in visions in Jesus most precious name. God's people said, "Amen. " And amen.

In Acts 2, you remember in verse 16- 21, which we looked at yesterday, well, it says when the Holy Spirit fell on the day of Pentecost that Peter said that there there will be dreams and visions in the last days. So, we are in the last days. And God Almighty, we saw in Genesis 15 where God spoke to Abraham, dreams and visions.

And then he spoke to Joseph later on, dreams and visions. And something that we looked at which was quite revealing is how when God spoke to a king named Abime, Aimelik had a conversation with the Lord in a dream. in a dream where God came to correct him about taking Sarah from Abraham and the Lord warned him to return Sarah to Abraham and America began to respond to the Lord in a dream.

So it's possible in a dream where God will show you his plan and show you yourself talking to him in a dream. Same thing happened with King Solomon in uh in first kings you know chapter 3 which we saw yesterday. Now, I would like to to to go back to Job 33 because I think this is so important that God speaks to us at times when we're not fully asleep.

We're kind of in a in in and out. So let's begin with Job 33 beginning at verse 12 if possible because I believe often God has spoken to you when you're just about to fall asleep where things uh you know are shown and some people ignore them and that is a dangerous thing >> because to ignore dreams and even visions which often are are are called visions of the night because a dream becomes a vision at times >> when It gets deeper. It becomes a vision of the night.

You know, like for example, Solomon was asleep. There was a dream, but then it became a vision of the night and so on. Now, let's begin reading with verse 12, please.

Job 33. We'll go on from where we left off yesterday. Yeah.

Behold, in this thou art not just, I will answer thee, that God is greater than man. Why dost thou strive against him? For he giveth not account of any of his matters.

For God speaketh once, yay, twice, yet man perceiveth it not. >> So sometimes God will speak to us in certain ways. We're not perceiving it.

>> Yeah. >> And keep going, please. >> Verse 15.

In a dream, in a vision of the night, when deep sleepeth upon men, in slumberings upon the bed. >> Yeah. >> Then he openeth the ears of men, and sealth their instruction, that he may withdraw man from his purpose, and hide pride.

that that's the reason God wants to keep us away from our own plan and purpose to fulfill his own plan. So dreams come to us and visions come to us and sometimes we don't even recognize a vision. >> Yeah.

>> But it may be something very deep at night where we see something about ourselves and God wants to pull us back rather than fulfills what we want. >> Right? >> And it says what else?

Uh verse 18, he keepeth back his soul from the pit and his life from perishing by the sword. >> It's amazing that God wants to keep the soul of people from destruction through dreams and visions. Keep going.

>> Uh he is chasened also with pain upon his bed. >> So now what happens here is that individual is not listening. >> So now God allows sickness to enter sometimes.

>> Yeah. >> So the man or woman would realize God is trying to talk to them. I know a lot of people are not going to maybe want to hear this.

It's not a very popular thing to say, but sometimes sometimes sickness comes in because people are not listening to what God is trying to tell. >> Wow. >> Keep keep going.

>> Uh verse 19, he is chasened also with pain upon his bed and the multitude of his bones with strong pain so that his life life abhoreth bread and his soul dainty meat. His flesh is consumed away that it cannot be seen. And >> imagine that.

Yeah. His bones that were not seen stick out. Yay, his soul drawth near unto the grave, and his life to the destroyers.

If there be a messenger with him, an interpreter, one among a thousand. >> Now, God sends someone to interpret that dream and vision to save that individual from that disease or sickness or problem. Keep going, please.

>> To show unto man his uprightness. Then he is gracious unto him, and saith, deliver him from going down to the pit. I have found a ransom.

His flesh shall be fresher than a child's. His He shall return to the days of his youth. He shall pray unto God, and he will be favorable unto him, and he shall see his face with joy, for he will render unto man his righteousness.

>> Now, I want to just take you to Job 36 beginning at verse 8, where God says, now if the person will keep disobeying, judgment will come. So sometimes, you know, people ignore it. Well, they see something at night, it's a warning, and the Bible says you've got to pray.

At times, you know, you see something at night, you you don't understand it. Pray. The second you pray, God will reveal what what he's trying to show you.

And these are called similitudes. >> Similitudes are um impressions. At night, you feel like impressions.

You feel something uh that is not clear or a little foggy. A little foggy, but you sense it. You know it.

And you're wondering why am I feeling this? It's not something you see in a in a in a dream. It's something that is more of a deep deep knowing.

And God comes at night and begins to give you what the Bible calls similitudes. Now you're to pray about it. You you don't understand it.

These are things where for example um when CO happened, I saw myself in a what looked like a uh a very strong uh building. I was with Chad Beta in it. And um prior to that, we were on a boat.

It was kind of confusing at first and I saw fish underneath. >> Now suddenly we're in this very strong uh building of some sort made out of rock. We we we couldn't get out.

A gate opened up. We we leave and now we running through and two dinosaurs are fighting each other and I woke up. I'm thinking what is this?

Like what what is the boat? What are the fish? What is that like building I was in?

What is that door? What are those dinosaurs? >> Yeah.

>> And it was it was a foggy similitude. I began to sense something dangerous. The dream created and sometimes the dream may not be as detailed as mine, but it creates a sense.

It creates an impression. You begin to feel it, see it, sense it. Uh, it's really more than that.

And I think you people know what I'm talking. And I began putting the the the picture together. We were in England >> preaching at a church.

That's the boat. Souls got saved. We got out of England real fast.

>> Now we are locked in. That's the building. >> Yeah.

>> No way out. When we got out, two dinosaurs fighting each other. >> Yeah.

>> And that was a very I cried unto the Lord. I said, Lord, please show me what is that? I was weeping.

What is that? What am I to do? And the Lord showed me and it was and I don't want to get into that but God showed me it saved us.

>> God spoke that day to us Chad and I cuz he was in the dream with me. >> Yeah. >> Now of course he's preaching to the Arabs and it's amazing what God is doing with that is a similitude and we both felt it.

>> Wow. >> We both had night experiences. I had that confusing dream and he had this feeling in his >> this do we do it do we not do it Lord in Jesus name if there's somebody listening right now Lord that is in that place as they pray clear it all up in Jesus name >> I had to pray when I prayed it cleared it up sometimes if we ignore it it says in proverbs if you ignore it you'll be punished Yeah.

>> So here in in Job 36 beginning at verse 8, it says what? >> And if they be bound in feathers and beholden in cords of affliction, then he showeth them their work and their transgressions. >> So here somebody is in trouble of some sort.

God shows them their sin. >> Yeah. >> And keep going.

>> Verse 10. He openeth also their ear to discipline, and commandeth that they return from iniquity. >> Now, we're still going.

This is dreams and visions. >> I'm not talking anymore about impressions, >> but it's all how God talks to us. Earlier, we saw God sometimes speaks when you're falling asleep.

And that's often it's like an impression. It's a similitude. >> This is a a dream.

Now, if you're not going to pay pay attention to what God is showing you, here's what it says. If they obey and serve him, they shall spend their days in prosperity and their years in pleasures. >> Keep going.

>> But if they obey not, >> if they don't obey, what what happens? >> They shall perish by the sword and they shall die without knowledge. But the hypocrites in heart.

>> Now, now that is scary. >> It is >> that people are punished and some die for not obeying an instruction from the Lord. >> Right?

So dreams and visions are very important and and especially in our day in our day. These things will keep you alive. I'm not teaching this to scare you.

I'm teaching this to protect you. I've seen people ignore instructions and they're no longer alive. They're gone.

I know people personally that were given instructions by the Lord and ignored it as though God was not showing it. They couldn't they they they didn't pray because if you don't pray, you you're not going to understand it. Now, you know, I just and and I'm going to pray with you in just a second because I really believe the Lord is talking something.

Often God will will will will reveal to us the future in dreams and vision. You know, remember um how God revealed to Joseph his future and these were not exactly easy dreams for other people to understand, >> right? >> Or the butler and the baker.

He he revealed to them their future by the baskets they had on their head and how many baskets and so on and so forth. So, it's it's it's very interesting. Now, if it's repeated, pay attention.

>> If it happens more than once, >> yeah, >> pay attention. Like Pharaoh has this dream and he doesn't know what it means in uh you know, chapter 40 of Genesis. It's repeated to confirm it.

Now, God saves him. So, let's let's go to Ecclesiastes 5. Let's look at verse three.

Okay. um God will sometimes show it to us twice to to show to confirm it's him. But let's let's look at you know Ecclesiastes 5:3 a very very interesting verse.

>> For a dream cometh through the multitude of business and a fool's voice is known by the multitude of words. >> Okay. Now there are dreams that come that God has nothing to do with.

>> I've been talking about dreams that God sends. Right? >> There are dreams that come to people because they desire them.

>> Right. >> Or because like it says here one more time, Ecclesiastes 5:3, >> for a dream cometh through the multitude of business. >> Yeah.

Exactly. Because their their minds are very very occupied. So let's pay attention to the dreams God gives us.

And the dreams that God will give us usually are repeated. >> Maybe the same way or in a different way. It's the same message that comes back.

I had probably, oh my lord, over a hundred dreams that I was preaching back in OC, the church that we built years ago. I did not ignore it. I believed it.

And then I saw at the end of the times where I would see these dreams, there was some construction happening outside OC >> of another church. You know that God actually fulfilled that. my children have that building and I've been I I've preached there and I told Michael and Jessica I said this is not the the the last of the road go you you will have a new building and the move of God will happen in it and that's exactly what's happening now they're in construction they'll be in their new building next year but God showed me for over two years The same dream repeated over and over and over.

I see myself going back. But I was the only room I was in. The only room I was in is the green room.

>> Wow. >> And that's exactly where I go every single time. Yeah.

>> Then I preach and go right back. >> Mhm. >> What is amazing?

What is amazing? Sometimes God will speak to you and the dream has to do with your children's future like with Michael and Jessica. And the way it it it it happened with the building in OC was miraculous.

For so long the the new owners uh would not listen. They they weren't interested. and my children had an incident at a building they were using on a Sunday night and called and said, "What do I do?

What do we do, Dad? " I said, "Well, you can't have another meeting there because they had a pro a problem in the parking lot that could have been dangerous and I don't want to get into the details. " And my daughter Jessica said, "Daddy, I'm going to go back to OC and talk to the leaders.

" And she walked in the next morning and they said yes. Awesome. And God fulfilled that dream.

Now there are dreams that come our way we we we ought to ignore because they are only our desires. >> Right >> in Isaiah 29:8 it talks about that. And also in Ecclesiastes 5:7.

But let's look at Isaiah 29:8. And these are uh be because of people's vanities these things come. Let's go.

Isaiah 29:8. >> It shall even be as when an an hungry man dreameth and behold he eateth but he awaketh and his soul is empty. Or as when a thirsty man dreameth, and behold he drinkketh but he awaketh and behold he is faint and his soul hath appetite.

So shall the multitude of all the nations be that fight against Mount Zion. So sometimes the dreams come because of our desires. >> Uh sometimes it's demonic.

Jude, let's go to Jude verse verse verse 8. Sometimes they they come to defile the flesh. >> Yeah.

>> Let's go. >> Likewise also these filthy dreamers defile the flesh. >> Exactly.

They are filthy dreamers that defile the the flesh. So that's why dreams must be judged. to see whether they lead us to the Lord or drive us away from the Lord.

Deuteronomy chapter 13. Now let's go to uh verse 1 through verse 5. I hope this is helping you.

I know some of it is a little not as easy to understand because it's hard to explain some things, you know, like uh similitudes are really hard to explain sometimes except to say impressions. >> Yeah. And so, but I think I think God is is helping a lot of you.

But the Lord wants to talk to us in clear dreams. I believe the day is coming when clear dreams and visions are coming. Just like with Abraham, just like with Solomon, just like we see in scripture often, very clear dreams like with Joseph when the angel came and said, "Take the baby to Egypt, take Jesus to Egypt.

" It was very clear dreams, you know, >> and so on. >> So, uh, in in Deuteronomy 13 verse 1-5, it says something amazing. Let's go ahead.

If there arise among you a prophet or a dreamer of dreams and giveth thee a sign or >> see now there are people who come to you with a dream say I had a dream about you. >> That's right. >> But it says you're to you you're to judge it.

>> Let's keep going. >> And the sign or the wonder come to pass whereof he spake unto thee saying let us go after other gods which thou hast not known and let us serve them. Thou shalt not hearken unto the words of that prophet or that dreamer of dreams.

For the Lord your God proveeth you to know whether ye love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul. >> So there are people who have dreams about you that sometimes God does show them. But it says if if if those people come to influence you to worship a false god, don't listen to them.

Ignore them. >> So interesting. >> Even even though their dreams may be right.

>> Yeah. So that's why we must judge every dream, every prophecy. Does it lead me to Jesus or away from Jesus?

If it leads me away, I ignore it. >> Yeah. >> Don't even listen to them.

>> And you know the the the the result is one thing. Does it glorify the Lord? You always ought to ought to ask, is this dream that I've had or a dream that someone has had about my life?

Is it glorifying the Lord? Numbers uh chapter 12, let's look at at verse 6 through 8. Because here here we see that the Lord really desires to speak to us, his people, and to reveal himself.

So at times, you know, God will do just that. Let's go. >> And he said, "Hear now my words.

If there be a prophet among you, I the Lord will make myself known unto him in a vision, and will speak unto him in a dream. " >> Isn't that beautiful? >> My servant Moses is not so, who is faithful in all mine house.

With him will I speak mouthto mouth, even apparently, and not in dark speeches. And the similitude of the Lord shall he behold. >> Okay, now that's what I mean by similitude, >> right?

>> Yeah. Keep going. Wherefore then were ye not afraid to speak against my servant Moses?

>> Yeah. So the Lord desires to really speak to us. >> And here he says that he spoke to Moses very very clearly.

And that's what I believe is also coming. Job chapter 4 is a very interesting portion. Now tomorrow I want to talk about visions.

And by the way tomorrow we'll be driving. So we'll be in the car talking to you. So, but let's let's look at Job 4:13-19 if possible quick.

Yes. >> In thoughts from the visions of the night, when deep sleep fallth on men, fear came upon me, and trembling, which made all my bones to shake. Then a spirit passed before my face.

The hair of my flesh stood up. It stood still, but I could not discern the form thereof. An image was before mine eyes.

There was silence, and I heard a voice saying, "Shall mortal man be more just than God? Shall a man be more pure than his maker? Behold, he put no trust in his servants, and his angels he charged with folly.

How much less in them that dwell in houses of clay, whose foundation is in the dust, which are crushed before the moth. " >> So here, here, here we see very clearly in Job 4 that sometimes a dream will actually shake people. It will physically affect you.

In Judges 7:E3-15, God will use others to warn us. Yeah. >> Against something that is coming uh also uh but but let's just go because we're I'm you know almost out of time.

Let's let's go to Matthew 27:19. Here is quite interesting that we we see uh Pilate's wife having a dream. Yeah.

>> And coming to father and said, "Be careful what what you do with that man. " >> She she was warning him. >> Right.

>> Yeah. Matthew 27:19. >> When he was sat down on the judgment seat, his wife sent onto him, saying, "Have thou nothing to do with that just man.

For I have suffered many things this day in a dream because of him. " >> Let's let's go to, you know, I, you know, I just feel to show you Judges 7 134 15 and then I'm going to pray. pray with you.

>> And when Gideon was come, behold, there was a man that told a dream unto his fellow, and said, Behold, I dreamed a dream, and lo, a cake of barley. >> So, it's interesting. God was using another man to reveal his will to Gideon.

>> Yeah. Go ahead. >> And lo, a cake of barley bread tumbled into the host of Midian, and came onto a net, and smote it that it fell, and overturned it, that the tent lay along.

And his fellow answered and said, "This is nothing else, save the sword of Gideon, the son of Joash, a man of Israel. For into his hand hath God delivered Midian and all the host. " >> So God spoke to Gideon through a stranger that had a dream.

Lord, I thank you for your word. And now, Lord, I pray that you will speak to your people. Lift your hands and just ask him that.

Lord, begin to speak to your people in dreams, clear dreams, powerful dreams. Begin, Lord, to speak to them in visions. Just ask him right now.

Ask the Lord to begin to talk to you like this because it says, "In the last days, I'll pour out my spirit and dreams and visions will come. " Drams and visions are the language of the Holy Spirit. And we're living in the last days right now.

In the last of the last of of the last days, Lord, in Jesus holy and precious name. Let everyone Lord listening, everyone watching, begin to speak to all of them, to all of us in dreams, in visions, clearly, mightily, for your glory only. for your glory only precious heavenly father in Jesus name and god's people said amen amen and amen all right tomorrow from the car I want to talk to you about visions there's a lot I want to say to you about visions because I believe visions we are about to have some incredible visions in the body of Christ incredible visions I'm in Argentina you know, as you're watching this.

>> Yeah. >> Uh for some powerful meetings, I'm in a city called Resistance. I don't know how to say it in Spanish, but anyways.

And then I go from there to Buenazarus. I have four meetings, two in a big stadium, two nights, a big stadium in that city called Resistance. And then I go to a big church, one big church in Buenazaris and then another church uh Omar Gabra, my dear friend.

And then we come back on the 19th and then of course it's Thanksgiving and then we go back to Africa for a few days and then to the Holy Land. So it's it's already busy, quite busy. We just came back from Zimbabwe.

will print it and take it to the whailing wall in Jerusalem for you. Let's believe God that God will save loved ones. But now it's time to give it.

It's time to honor the Lord with our substance. The Bible says, "Honor the Lord with your substance, and the first fruits of all your increase. So shall your barns be filled with plenty, and thy presses will burst out with new wine.

" I believe God wants to bless you financially greatly. Not only this year as we come to the close of this year, but in 2026. But without giving, there is no receiving.

Without sowing, there is no reaping. So let's give so we might receive. Let's sew that we might reap.

Lord, bless your people as they give. Bless them greatly in Jesus wonderful name. Amen.
