[Music] isn't afterlife yes I do why do you think that my faith is Roman Catholic and we believe in miracles and there have been there have been like accounts and stories of people and so that's why I believe have you been born again uh I don't believe in that but do you know where it comes from um from a religion right no it's from John chapter 3 in the Bible Jesus said unless you're born again you're not going to enter Heaven he said this Marvel not that I say to you you must be born again
being born again is the entrance and to heaven and if you're not born again you're in big trouble on Judgment Day do you believe that would being born again be considered like baptism or what is no no it's not well let me uh let me show you why you need to be born again it won't really help you to figure it out do you think you're a good person no so you're broken the Ten Commandments yes which ones are you broken um honor your father and mother that's the fifth the without envying your neighbor that's
the tenth don't Kevin anything that belongs to your neighbor I having gone to Mass every Sunday I've skipped a few that's all right have you ever lied yes stolen yes you're a lying thief yeah I guess so have you used God's name in vain yeah okay that's called blasphemy it's so serious it's punishable by death in the Old Testament do you believe God gave you life yes everything you have comes from him your blood your bones your skin your eyes your taste buds your ears to enjoy good music your family and friends and you have
used his name as a cuss word very very serious would you use your mother's name as a cuss word no it's because your honor her and yet you have an honor God's name the reason I'm doing this is to stir up your conscience so you're saying boy I'm in big trouble on Judgment Day jesus said if you look with lust you commit adultery in your heart if you ever looked with lust yeah I'm not judging you've just told me you're a lying thief a blasphemer an adulterer heart covetous person and you've dishonored your parents that's
six of the ten commandments of God judges you buy the Ten Commandments on Judgment Day you going to be innocent or guilty guilty heaven or hell how there's no purgatory if you die in your sins you'll end up in hell now does that concern you yeah it does okay now tell me why did God do for guilty sinners so he wouldn't have to go to hell any idea yeah he died for us do you understand the legal implications of that what do you mean well the ten commandments are called the moral law l aw you

trust a parachute you don't just believe in a parachute you put your trust into it the minute you do that God will forgive your sins in an instant and grant you the gift of everlasting life and he'll give you a new heart with new desires so you love righteousness and you'll be aware of his presence even the heavens are look different the heavens declare his glory this the trees raise their arms and praise to God the birds sing his praises the flowers blossom to his glory everything you look different because you've been born again and
God's open the eyes of your understanding so at the moment you're not born again you're stolen your sense and if you die in your sins you'll end up in hell you must be born again to enter heaven when are you going to repent and Trust alone in Jesus well I guess what you're saying to me if we were if our translated to what I believe in I would say that's confession because you say that we should repent to God directly but in my faith I repent to a priest because we believe that God works through
him so what I do is I go to confession but then I repeat the same sins because I don't don't listen to I don't read the scripture I don't listen to the gospel and I and I am just too pulled into this like the temptations of the world and I and I don't surround myself with God enough and so I'm gonna keep repeating the mistakes until I born again and God gives you a new heart with you desires so your thirst after righteousness and as long as you stay in your sins you're gonna keep repeating
them and you're going to be going to the priest and confessing sin to a priest rather than to God and so can I encourage you search the Scriptures and see if what I'm saying is true I wouldn't lie to you your eternity is at stake you're caught up in the traditions of me and rather than the Word of God and Jesus warned against that he said you ignore the commandments of God that you may keep your tradition so that's what he told the religious leaders so don't look at what man says look at the Word
of God take the time to open the scriptures read the Gospel of John and see that I'm not lying to you because I've got no other motive I care about you and I hate you to dine yes and so what do you at least think about this yeah I want to say I believe you and yeah I am motivated to look at the scripture hopefully I keep that motivation John chapter 3 and get before the Lord and say look that guy said I need to repent before you and if that's true would you confirm it
to my heart and he's faithfully promised the Bible says he's able to save to the uttermost those that come to God by him so go straight to God through Jesus he's the only mediator between man and God and you'll have a relationship with God that is so real and you'll you'll have a knowledge that you are saved your name is written in heaven you have everlasting life and this nothing more important because you don't know when you're going to die 150,000 people die every 24 hours so there's a sense of urgency so please think about
