In 1990 at Hockenheim, the last race of the DTM, there was the possibility for three drivers to win the championship: me with the BMW, Ludwig with the Mercedes and Stuck with the Audi. Mercedes had put an extra squad of cars and drivers, and at the first corner Schumacher kick me out because, oh my, he was really looking for me; he even went on the grass to cut the corner to hit me. You can see that that was the job he had to do, and unfortunately I lost the championship in the last race. Luckily Stuck won
it and not Mercedes.
