a choice I was stuck going we were actually going a few places and this was the first so we were getting to the Dress store just as they opened right near the front of the store a pipe must have broken in the road because there was a great big puddle going down the street something was floating along and I was trying to see what it was I was getting closer and Mom called just as I was turning to answer I saw out of the corner of my eye a truck zooming towards the puddle I tried
to move but too late Splash I was totally completely drenched mom and Donna ran over but what could they do the lady who was unlocking the store door seemed to have seen what happened mom spoke with her a moment and then they hurried me into the store the lady led us to a bathroom mom said something to Donna and took me into the bathroom strip Jimmy hopefully there's enough paper towels to get you dry I was still a little stunned maybe and not really thinking so I just did as I was told a few minutes
later I was dry and just starting to regain my senses when my sister was at the door with the store lady mom and the lady talked for a minute while I hid back as far as I could when she came back to me she had a bag in her hands Jimmy I'm sorry but your clothes are soaked and all they sell here are girl clothes saying that she pulled a pair of panties from the bag silky with a touch of lace at least thy were blue and not pink I felt embarrassed pulling them on but
they did feel nice then I saw what she was holding up for next oh Mom what do I need a bra for a padded bra even do you want people to see a girl or a boy in a dress it's up to you I didn't think of that but aren't we going home sorry but no we have way too much to do and I'm very sorry that this happened but we'll just have to deal with it try to think of it as an adventure dressing up as a girl think of it as fooling everyone you
really think I'll really look like a real girl not that I wanted to look like a girl but I guessed it was better than looking like a fool I'm sure you will now let's put on your bra your first bra and you're already a beup if that was supposed to be a joke I didn't think it was funny the bra matched the panties and while it felt odd I can't really say it felt bad next came thigh high stocking sheer and silky then a really silky slip with lace at the Hem and top mom put
my wet boy clothes in the bag and led me into the still closed store the lady took us to the clearance racks deciding I should be one size smaller than my sister they set about finding me my first dress in just a minute I heard my mom saying oh this one looks cute she came out with a silky royal blue dress and after trying it on I had to secretly agree that it did look cute the lady came up with a box and said here these should fit and they'll go nice with that dress they
were black sandals with maybe a 2in heel and they did fit I was surprised that they didn't seem hard to walk in Jimmy I'm sorry this to happen but thank you for being such a good sport about it now I'm going to have to put a little makeup on you and comb your hair a bit and I guess it's time to stop saying Jimmy Donna said how about Jamie that's close but a girl name Jimmy I guess just don't start teasing and don't tell anyone I won't I promise we were pretty close in age and
got along really well rarely did we fight and then it was usually over something trivial and not at all serious Donna watched our mom added just a touch of makeup and said giggling wait until you see yourself Jamie you're cute yeah right I said then as I saw myself in the mirror oh my God I am we all laughed mom said well let me go pay for Jam's new clothes then we can begin shopping for Donna after she left Donna took my hand and said I think it's fun having a sister for a little while
don't worry it'll be fun I promise she squeezed my hand and I gave a squeeze back before releasing reling it you can help me pick out some dresses come on she led me down the rows of dresses until she came to ones in her size move down a little and look for light colors at first I wasn't really paying attention just trying not to draw attention to myself and secretly enjoying the way my dress and slip felt swishing against my legs the store had been opened and a few people started coming in then I saw
a dress that caught my eye and I pulled it out that's cute Jamie my size yeah I'll try that one on I felt good that she liked my choice and started really looking as we got to the end of a rack I saw really fancy dresses and headed that way Donna came up just as I pulled out a really pretty one look at this one this is really pretty I said Donna looked at the tag not my size and I don't see any more of those a shame because it is really pretty she paused considering
before she spoke it is your size Jamie if you want to try it on mom had come up behind us and said I bet you'd look really cute Jamie in that pretty dress flushing I managed to squeak out a quiet it's okay I really don't know why but I did want to try it on of course honey Donna can keep looking and I'll take you to the dressing room a few minutes later Donna headed to the dressing rooms with a few choices as she walked up there was her new sister me in front of the
mirrors walking up she said oh Mom Jamie looks so sweet in that dress are you going to get it Mom looked me and I avoided eye contact then she said Jamie would you like me to get this dress for you I quietly said it is really pretty does that mean yes Donna leaned over and whispered I'd love to have my sister around more I nodded slightly blushing mom smiled and said I guess we need to go back to the lingerie section while Donna tries on her dresses come along she said with a smile taking my
hand quietly I asked Mom why are we going back to lingerie we need to get some cute undies that match your new dress honey she gave my hand a gentle squeeze and should we get a few more sets will Jamie be visiting very often I really don't know and I didn't I whispered you mean you don't mind if I'm dressed up as a girl not at all dear girl clothes are much more pretty and fun than boys clothes I didn't know what to say so I didn't say anything even though I was secretly agreeing mom
picked out several colors of silky panties each with a matching slightly padded bra a couple slips and some stockings she even grabbed two NES was I going to be a girl from now on and did I mind or was I hoping it would happen after Donna got done trying things on we paid for everything and headed out of the store try to be a little more careful now Jamie mom said as we headed to the car Donna giggled and I said not believing it was coming out of my mouth well I think things worked out
pretty nicely mom looked at me and I just smiled Donna giggled some more I watched how Donna got in the car and copied her smoothing my dress under me Donna smiled and gave my hand a squeeze next stop is the jewelry store to pick up my watch that got fixed mom said I guess I was getting comfortable being a girl because when we got there I just got out and followed the others in while Mom was getting her watch Donna and I were looking at earrings I couldn't believe how much I was getting into it
while we were looking the clerk noticed us and said it's a two for one sale girls you could get matching earrings Donna giggled and said Jamie doesn't have pierced ears piercing is free with purchase the clerk replied I didn't know what I should say so I didn't say anything yet these hearts are cute Donna said and here's blue Hearts that'll match your dress they don't cost much I'll get them if you want Jamie and we can wear matching earrings I don't think Mom will want me getting my ears pierced Donna mom had quietly come up
behind me she was getting good at that I don't mind at all she said cool Donna said a few minutes later I was sporting new pierced earrings I even bought Donna and me cute bracelets that matched the earrings and blushed as the clerk told Mom what cute daughters she had back in the car mom said next is a quick stop at the drugstore and then the supermarket then we're done and head home maybe about an hour more I wasn't quite sure what I should do when we got home I guess it was really okay if
I stayed dressed as a girl but why did I like it so much well these clothes felt really nice and while I have kissed a few girls they aren't exactly chasing after me saying how cute I am dressed up as a girl I didn't just look realistic I actually did make a cute girl and for some weird reason that felt good I was cute then Donna said Jamie when we get home want to play Barbies with me actually I had lots of times but it would be different I think with me as a girl too
sure I said Mom smiled and said you girls put away your new clothes first she paused then continued Jamie I hope you don't mind dear but I just have to take some pictures of you we'll keep them in a separate album just for us to see I don't know why but I really liked the idea of pictures and even more when Donna whispered to me maybe after Barbie we can play dress up then Mom can take lots of pictures of us that sounded fun too you know Donna said when mom went to get the camera
I just remembered something when you were a baby and even still when you were a real little kid mom used to dress you in my old clothes maybe she misses having two daughters she did really seem to be enjoying herself when she dressed you up true I said Donna just looked at me and smiled then she said you seem pretty comfortable can we say you don't mind being a girl I'm sure I turned bright red as I tried to think of something to say Donna reached out and touched my arm don't worry I won't tell
anyone now come on let's change before playing Barbies I bet you'll look real cute in the dress I wore when I was a flower girl I did mom had a new role in her camera and took a few pictures before I changed into the flower girl dress and after when Donna told her we were playing dress up later she said she better make sure she had more film when she found more roles she came back and took some pictures of us playing Barbies it's weird I never wanted to dress up like a girl before never
even thought about it but it felt so right not just silky and comfortable but somehow I can't really explain it just felt right and I knew I really wanted to stay a girl and it seemed like that was okay with everyone playing dress up we tried all different clothes jewelry and makeup including mom's stuff and my new dress from today but really made up cute and mom took tons of pictures of both me and Donna at dinner we wore matching long tiered skirts Donna's red and mine light blue with sleeveless silky tops Donna's pink and
