One of my favorite verses in the Bible is in Job 13:15 where he says this about God though he slay me yet will I trust him even so I will defend my own ways before him think about what Measure of Faith what measure of assurance you need to have to be able to say the words though he slay me yet will I trust him those are fighting words those are strong Words no matter what comes no matter what happens to me I will trust in Jesus I pray to have faith like job faith that stands

in the face of total despair total loss and destruction but still say though he slay me yet will I trust him how I desire to reach that level of maturity as a Christian how I pray that when my season Of testing comes Lord help me to plant my feet to square my shoulders roll up my sleeves and boldly confess the though he slay me yet will I trust him I look at the story of job as a unique example of Faith Under Fire here he was wealthy and upright a man who had everything going for

him but the devil entered the picture job experienced some fairly Extreme conditions in chapter 1 and veres 13- 22 it gets pretty intense we're told about job's righteousness how there was none like him in all of the land he was a man of character and who feared God eventually Satan is allowed to test job and here enters a hardship like many of us will never experience first a messenger comes to tell job that the sians attacked and Stole all of his livestock and then killed his servants with them next before that servant can finish another

comes and tells him that fire fell from heaven and burned up all of his sheep and killed the servants with them then another comes to say to him that Raiders have stolen his camels and killed those servants and then the last straw a great wind comes and causes the house to fall on all of his children and they are Killed so here is a man who is considered righteous and God-fearing this was just a man with Integrity but in a few minutes he had his entire world turned upside [Music] down just imagine for a moment

if you lost your job lost everything dear to you your life savings your home and from an Earthly perspective lost any hope for the future at that moment there would be an Understandable temptation to enter into a great depression and many have for lesser things but if you look at job's response in verse 20 and 21 it says at this job got up and tore his robe and shaved his head then he fell to the ground in worship and said naked I came from my mother's womb and naked I will depart the lord gave and

the Lord has taken away May the name of the Lord be Praised what an example of Faith through all of this job did not sin nor did he blame God and this kind of attitude and perspective this is the answer to Victory job recognized that God In His Infinite goodness has everything under control that somehow this is what was best he conceited that his life is in God's hands he acknowledges that God gives and sometimes takes Away and chooses to worship god with a grateful heart job had the assurance that said my life is in

God's hands and it's that faith that belief that got him through that difficult time it got much worse for job for a season as he even lost his own health but in all of this horrific loss job never left God and turned elsewhere but here's what the Bible says about what became of job in the end job 42:12 says so the Lord blessed job in the second half of his life even more than in the beginning for now he had 14,000 sheep 6,000 camels 1,000 teams of oxen and 1,000 female donkeys everything was restored to

job more abundantly than what he he had before he had remained faithful and could do so because he knew that God was in full control and would work things out for his good and God's glory that is our big step to take that's the key for Us too if you want to have victory of emotional trials we must focus on the fact that God is in control and have faith in that he will work things out for our good and His glory your life is in God's hands a few more thoughts on this job was

understandably driven to a very dark place and many of us can relate we've been there we've all been at a point where our faith is tried we've all been to a place that has Left us in some kind of distress a place where you feel as though this is completely rock bottom and job felt as if life had no meaning he felt as though life was not worth living anymore even his friends judged and condemned him by implying that he was not a Godly Man and that he deserved what happened to him even his wife

told him that he should just Curse God and Die talk about feeling truly alone but I admire job for ignoring those around him I admir job for taking a stance of saying though he slay me yet will I trust him something many of us need to start practicing job didn't listen to any naysayers or the discouragers nor did he take their advice he remained strong in faith although he was feeling down in Despair and depressed he remained strong in Faith although he had so many questions for God although he fully didn't understand why God had

allowed all this to happen to him job still feared the Lord job still trusted in the Lord now will you have the same approach will you have the same stance as job will you remain strong and firm in faith when your faith is under Fire now let us pray Father you alone are worthy of my adoration each and every day Lord Jesus you are ever faithful you are my Hiding Place at this present time I ask for your protection and covering over my life and over my family's life so Lord help me to guard my

heart help me to fill my heart with your word help me to be vigilant against every force of evil and every cunning lie of man help me to be in the world but not Of it help me to be in this world but not to love it Empower me to be a strong Godly influence in this world rather than for me to be influenced by this world help me to be salt in this earth help me to be a light in the darkness guiding my friends and my family and neighbors and strangers alike to the

Glorious cross your word calls me in Philippians 4:8 to say finally Brothers whatever is true whatever is Honorable whatever is just whatever is pure Whatever is lovely whatever is commendable if there is any Excellence if there is anything worthy of Praise think about these things Lord I pray that I would not be a sponge that absorbs all the filth of this world no instead let me be like a mirror reflecting your goodness for all all to see let me be like a mirror that reflects your love Lord like David wrote in the Psalms create in

me a clean heart renew in me a right Spirit I know that such a heart is pleasing to you more than sacrifices or good works you desire a heart that is broken over sin and one that humbly seeks your forgiveness I pray that the Holy Spirit would continuously be tugging at my heart and soul teaching me how to be obedient to the Lord teaching me how to stand in faith and to fully trust in God give me a passion to Seek You Lord give me a passion to hunt for your Presence the last thought in

my mind before I sleep should be you and let my first thoughts each and every morning be you I submit to you and align my spirit to your will and purpose for my life open my ears so that they will be sensitive and receptive to your voice Lord I pray that your word would not depart from my mouth but instead I will read and meditate on it day and night so that I may be careful to do everything In accordance to your Will May the Holy Spirit help me to keep seeking things that are above

where Christ is seated at the right hand of God help me Holy Spirit to set my mind above and to keep focused on everything related to the kingdom of God help me not to conform to the things of this world help me not to be distracted by things that are on the the Earth which only have temporal value and for me to even do this Lord I Need your Supernatural strength and so I declare that you Lord Jesus you are my source of strength that leads me to overcome the devil you Lord Jesus are my

source of strength that leads me to walk in Victory you are my source of strength that leads me to defeat sin you have said in your word that in the last days you will pour out your spirit on All Flesh and so I welcome you Holy Spirit I Invite your presence to encamp around me and to fill me help me to realize the promises of God promises for peace that surpass human understanding Promises of a sound mind Promises of protection I pray that you would move with me Holy Spirit walk with me and speak to

me be the still Small Voice that guides me and leads me I praise your Holy Name King Jesus be Glorified I thank you for hearing my prayer in the mighty name of Jesus Christ I pray amen there have been seasons in my life where I've been up against it there have been Seasons where I've been in the middle of a rock in a hard place and you know in these moments underneath that that that crushing feeling I've looked at my pain I've looked at my Circumstances I've looked at everything fall fall in apart and I

have asked the question Lord why me are you really stealing control of my life because I'm in a freef fall and if you if you've ever read the story of Paul and Silas in the book of Acts the Bible says they were stripped and beaten with rods and after they had been severely fogged they were thrown into prison and placed in Chains hand and Feet so I imagine that they too must have felt like their entire world was falling apart they must have looked at their circumstances and at their situation and asked the question is

God still in control is God still in control of our lives and I wonder did the pain become too much for their bodies to bear I can only imagine how uncomfortable it must must have been to be chained hands and feet did they even For just a moment ever doubt because I'll be honest I have and if you have ever felt these emotions if if you've ever wavered for a moment if you've ever wrestled with doubt I want you to know that it's important to remember that faith and present circumstances don't always go hand inand

you can have faith in God but still find yourself going through hard times you can have faith in the Lord but your circumstances may still be Challenging faith and present circumstances don't always go hand in hand Paul and Silas had Faith but they were beaten and cast in Chains Paul and Silas had Faith but if you look looked just at their circumstances it would appear as though they were abandoned it would appear as though they were forsaken just the environment they were in would lead you to believe that God no longer had his hand over

their lives but that's the beauty of God the Lord is faithful regardless of our circumstances sometimes tough situations come around to serve a purpose that purpose could be to remind you that God can make a way where there seems to be no way that purpose could be to glorify God that purpose could be for the Lord to demonstrate his healing power so be encouraged your situation will serve a purpose Paul and Silas had no hope of Escape they they were too badly beaten they were chained they were in prison and surrounded by guards there was

no hope of escaping but their situation served a purpose if it were not for the chains would Paul and Silas have known that God is a chain breaker if it were not for them being confined to a prison would Paul and Silas have known that God can break everyon Hold if it were not for their circumstances would Paul and Silas have known that the Lord is a way [Music] maker and that's what we need to learn this season you're in will serve a purpose your present circumstances will serve a purpose where there looks to be

no way out maybe you're bound or chained in some area of your life God Will Make A Way if you keep your faith in him and Regardless of how it looks right now don't let present circumstances overpower your faith Paul in 2 Corinthians 1: 5 said for as we share abundantly in Christ sufferings so through Christ we share abundantly in Comfort too if we are afflicted it is for your comfort and salvation and if we are comforted it is for your comfort which you experience when you patiently endure the same sufferings that we suffer Our

Hope for you is unshaken for we know that as you share in our sufferings you will also share in our comfort for we do not want to be unaware Brothers of the Affliction we experienced in Asia for we were so utterly burdened beyond our strength that we despaired of life itself indeed we felt that we had received the sentence of death but that was to make us rely not on ourselves but on God who raises the dead he delivered us from such a deadly Peril and he will Deliver Us on him we have set our

hope that he will deliver us again while in Asia Paul states that he had experienced Affliction he experienced severe trials and he says he was burdened beyond strength so much so that he despaired of life itself he said It felt as though he had received a death sentence can you imagine that can you imagine going through hardships that make you feel as though you have a death sentence written Against your name can you imagine being burdened by problems this is how Paul felt but if you pay attention to what he says in verse 9 Paul

says indeed we felt that we had received the sentence of death but that was to make us rely not on ourselves but on God who raises the Dead He's essentially saying these difficult times these tough times have taught us to lose all faith in ourselves and to place all of our trust in The God Who raises the Dead all of us go through tough times all of us go through Seasons where it seems as though the odds are stacked against us and pain pain becomes a feeling we're all too acquainted with in Psalms 119:71 David

said it is good for me that I have been Afflicted that I may learn your statutes and I've always asked the question how can it be good for you to be Afflicted how is there any good for you to go through pain tribulation and hard times but here here's the thing afflictions tough situations do more than simply show what kind of character we have tough times shape and form out character now I believe that Affliction although unpleasant is necessary for the Christian man or woman because if it were not for the struggle you're going through

how would you know that God will never leave you nor forsake you If it were not for the Affliction in your body how else would you know that by his stripes we are healed if it were not for the financial challenges you faced how would you have known that the Lord is a provider problems can sometimes be a blessing saints of God so be encouraged regardless of what you're facing now let us pray Lord Jesus you are worthy to receive all of my praise and adoration if troubles Weigh us down your mercy your grace will

lift us up although the hardships of life may push us to our limits by your mercy and by your grace Lord we will overcome father the situations we face at times may be tragic and heartbreaking but we look to you Lord by your mercy and by your grace we are more than conquerors may your Divine will be accomplished in my life if the trial I face is meant to shape me and mold me in a way that is more pleasing to you then May your will be done if the trial I face is meant to

build my faith and build my character then may your will be done Lord if the trial I face is meant to train me to become more patient more prayerful more grateful then may your will be done father whatever your will is for allowing me to face difficulty may you achieve within me that which you have set out to achieve Transform Me renew me teach me whatever the objective is I Surrender to you Lord Jesus Psalms 102 verse1 and 2 say hear my prayer PR oh Lord let my cry come to you do not hide your

face from me in the day of my distress incline your ear to me answer me speedily in the day when I call Lord hear our cry when we encounter difficulty when we're caught in trouble Deliver Us and be our help Father your word in James 1: 2-4 says count it all joy my brothers when you Meet Trials of various kinds for you know that the testing of your faith produces steadfastness and let steadfastness have its full effect that you may be perfect and complete lacking in nothing father if I am to face difficult times if

I am to endure tough times may it all be for your Your Glory I pray that you would use any difficult challenges to build my character use those afflictions to Strengthen my faith Lord help me to understand that sometimes you may allow afflictions into my life so that I may grow spiritually so that I may learn to pray with more intensity Lord I understand that you are more concerned about my character than my comfort levels you care more about my growth as a Believer than the number of blessings I receive you Lord are more concerned

with the state of my heart than the level of My comfort 1 Peter 1: 6-7 says in this you rejoice though now for a little while if necessary you have been grieved by various trials so that the tested genuiness of your faith more precious than and gold that perishes though it's tested by fire may be found to result in praise and glory and honor at the revelation of Jesus Christ Lord as I face various trials May the result be that I will trust you more May the result of my trials be that I have stronger

faith I pray that every Affliction would lead me to spiritual maturity I pray that every Affliction will leave me with a desire to really connect with you Lord Jesus because I know that I cannot go through this life with My Own Strength Lord your word tells me that many are the afflictions of the righteous but the Lord delivers him out of them All and so I look to you as my rescue father when you allow me to go through tough times when you allow me to face certain obstacles I will hold on to your word

your word that says in Psalm 34:1 15 to 18 the eyes of the Lord are toward the righteous and his ears toward their cry the face of the Lord is against those who do evil to cut off the memory of them from the Earth when the righteous Cry for Help the Lord hears and delivers them out of all their Troubles the Lord is near to the brokenhearted and saves the crushed in spirit I bless your holy name and I thank you for hearing my prayer Lord Jesus be glorified Now and Forever More in Jesus name

I pray amen therefore my beloved brothers and sisters be steadfast immovable always excelling in the work of the lord always doing your best and doing more than is needed being continually aware that your labor even To the point of exhaustion in the Lord is not feudal nor wasted it is never without purpose there must come a time when you as a Believer must decide I will stand strong and follow the word of God regardless of what I will have to give up and who I will have to let go of there comes a time when

you have to decide I will stand and do The Godly thing I will forgive even when it's hard To do even when I've been hurt there will come a time when you will have to decide to stand in faith even when you can't see a way out of the situation that you're in now today you may be under attack in some area of your life you have tried everything to resolve it but nothing is working nothing is changing dear friend this is the time you ought to take a stand and Believe believe in the power

of the blood of Jesus it will break you out of that bondage believe in the power that in the blood of Jesus Christ it can set you free it can give you Victory and it can loose you from any evil hold it's time to take a stand with the word of God against the forces of evil stand firm stand in confidence stand in righteousness Psalm 56:3 says when I am Afraid prayed I put my trust in you in God whose word I Praise In God I trust I shall not be afraid what can flesh do

to me we need to be men and women who put their trust in the Lord and mind you you will only ever be able to stand firm when your trust is secured in the Lord so if you feel stuck if you feel under attack remember that the Bible says in Psalm 31: 24 be strong and Let Your Heart Take courage all you who wait for the Lord be Strong Saints and stand in faith as you do this the Lord is sure to rescue you and so as children of God I believe I believe that it's

time to stand stand up and lift High his Royal Banner you are an ambassador of the most high stand up to the lies of the enemy stand up with the truth of the Gospel stand up with the strength of the Holy Spirit stand up in God's strength and I encourage you as you stand in faith pray and ask the Lord to be with you as you Stand now let us pray Stand By Me Lord Jesus stand with me Lord I need you with me always I need you close and always by my side I need

the Fellowship of the Holy Spirit I need the companionship of the Holy Spirit Lord Jesus I need you in this life on my own I know that I am lost and I am condemned but with you with you Lord I Have a purpose my life has meaning my life has Direction because my steps they are ordered by you father on my own I am vulnerable I am confused and without a home however that changes when you are in my life when you are with me Lord I am protected and my feet are on high ground

when you are with me Jesus I have Clarity there is no Spirit of confusion That can cloud my mind my heart or my spirit when you are with me I have a home I have citizens ship in heaven in fact I hold on to the promise that you spoke in John 14:3 you said and if I go and prepare a place for you I will come again and will take you to myself that where I am you may be also my need for you is great Lord Jesus my need for you is clear I need

you more than I need silver and gold or the Riches of this world I need you Jesus more than I need a new car a new house or more money Lord I cannot save myself I cannot heal or redeem myself I need you Lord Lord I need you because I can't give myself eternal life nor can I overcome sin on my own it's you that I need need Master Lord I have realized that in this life it is impossible to win it's Impossible to overcome or have Victory by myself father there are strongholds that I

cannot break there are problems that I can't overcome on my own Jesus I Need You I need the Good Shepherd I need one who can speak peace and Stillness into the storms of life Lord I need you to stand by me calm my emotions let my heart not be troubled father there are giants that I'm facing giant oppositions which follow my family bloodline and Lord I can't fight them with My Own Strength I need divine intervention I need Supernatural strength to overcome so I pray father Hear My Cry as I ask that you stand by

me God be with me always because if I try and do things on my own if I try and live life with My Own Strength it simply won't work without your grace everything is out of my reach Father my prayer is that you would always be with me be with me as I face the storms of life be with me as I walk through the valley of the shadow of death Stand By Me in the fiery furnace Stand By Me When I can't see a way out when the enemy comes at me like a flood

raise up a standard Lord I pray that you would not allow the challenges that I face face to overwhelm me Lord Jesus when problems appear to be daunting give me Divine Strength father your word says in John 24: 18- 20 I will not leave you as orphans I will come to you yet a little while and the world will see me no more but you will see me because I live you also will live in that day you will know that I am in my father and you in me and I in you I thank

you Lord for such a promise you have promised never to leave us alone when the odds are against us we Will not fear for you are with us whether I am in the Lion's Den or in the eye of a storm I trust and believe believe that you will always be faithful and Stand By Me Blessed Be Your Name King Jesus amen the Lord is my light and my salvation Whom Shall I Fear the Lord is the stronghold of my life of whom shall I be afraid when problems arise and we find that our backs

are against the wall the Word of God has to be a source of encouragement to us the word of God has to be that which ignites the fire in our faith it reinvigorates Our Hope and belief so that regardless of what you're facing despite the size of the enemy despite whatever is taking place in our lives we have a divine and Heavenly insurance policy which is the word of God now I urge you to look at Luke 4 very closely Jesus was in the wilderness and He was tempted by the devil in Luke 4: 3-4

the Bible says and the devil said to him if you are the Son of God command this Stone to become bread but Jes Jesus answered him saying it is written man shall not live by bread alone but by every word of God in verses 5-7 the devil continues his advances and offers Jesus the kingdoms of this world but in Luke 4:8 here's how Jesus Responds the Bible reads and Jesus answered and said to him get behind me Satan for it is written you shall Worship the Lord your God and him Only You Shall Serve now

the devil was audacious and he thought to try and tempt Jesus a third time in verse 9 he takes Jesus to Jerusalem and has him stand at the highest point of the temple saying if you are the son of God throw yourself down from Here but once again Jesus responds in Luke 4 verse 10-1 saying for it is written he shall give his angels charge over you to keep you and in their hands they shall bear you up lest you dash your foot against the stone now I want you to understand that the devil tempted

Jesus Jesus three times and each time Jesus referred to the word of God the devil knocked three times and each time he was answered with the word of God the devil offered riches He said if it's money that you want worship me if it's power that you want worship me Jesus was offered the kingdoms of This World by Satan but Jesus was content he was full of God's word three times Jesus responded by saying it is written and then proceeded to refer to the word of God now let me ask you when the devil tempts

you how will you respond what will you say when the devil knocks on the door of Your house and tries to convince you to let him in how will you respond do you have enough of God's word in you to resist do you have enough of God's word in you to fight we need to dwell and meditate on the word of God because it tells us all that we need to know about how to resist the devil how to defeat the Devil and how to be protected against the devil Lord Jesus you are Great and

Mighty I pray that your word may be kept hidden in my heart may I live a life according to the principles and commands that are in your word I pray that the holy spirit will bring the word of God to Life For Me may your word be ingrained in My Heart Lord should the devil try to tempt me let your word rise up within me and strengthen me should the devil try to lure me with riches with fame or with anything in this world help me to hold On to your word help me to remember

that your word in 1 Corinthians 10: 13 says no temptation has overtaken you except such as is common to man but God is faithful who will not allow you to be tempted beyond what you are able but with the Temptation will also make the way of Escape that you may be able to Bear it lord it's in you that I find satisfaction if I hunger you are the bread of life if I thirst I will come to You Jesus because I know that in you my heart will open overflow with rivers of Living Water keep

me strong Lord Jesus help me to reject the advances of Satan help me to declare your word when I am confronted by evil I stand on your word that says in Isaiah [Music] 41:13 for I the Lord your God hold your right hand it is I who say to you fear Not I am the one who helps you I thank you for such a promise I will not fear because my help comes from the Lord although the devil may work against me I trust you to help me although my enemies may come against me I

trust you to be my Defender Lord Jesus indeed a thousand may fall at my side and 10,000 at my right hand but it shall not come near me because I have Jesus Christ as my refuge Lord I stand on your word that Says in Psalm 27:1 the Lord is my light and my salvation Whom Shall I Fear the Lord is the stronghold of my life of whom shall I be afraid afraid although the struggles of life may come in all shapes and sizes you my Lord are a stronghold in the day of trouble I am

told him that he should just Curse God and die [Music] talk about feeling truly alone but I admire job for ignoring Those around him I admir job for taking a stance of saying though he slay me yet will I trust him something many of us need to start practicing job didn't listen to any naysayers or the discouragers nor did he take their advice he remained strong in faith although he was feeling down in Despair and depressed he remained strong in faith although he had so many questions For God although he fully didn't understand why God

had allowed all this to happen to him job still feared the Lord job still trusted in the Lord now will you have the same approach will you have the same stance as job will you remain strong and firm in faith when your faith is under [Music] Fire now let us Pray father you alone are worthy of my adoration each and every day Lord Jesus you are ever faithful you are my Hiding Place at this present time I ask for your protection and covering over my life and over my family's life so Lord help me to

guard my heart help me to fill my heart with your word help me to be vigilant against every force of evil and every cunning lie of Man help me to be in the world but not of it help me to be in this world but not to love it Empower me to be a strong Godly influence in this world rather than for me to be influenced by this world help me to be salt in this earth help me to be a light in the darkness guiding my friends and my family and neighbors and strangers alike

to the Glorious cross your word calls me in Philippians 4:8 to say find fin Brothers whatever is true whatever is Honorable Whatever is just whatever is pure whatever is lovely whatever is commendable if there is any Excellence if there is anything worthy of Praise think about these things Lord I pray that I would not be a sponge that absorbs all the filth of this world no instead let me be like a mirror reflecting your goodness for all to see let me be like a mirror that reflects your love Lord like David wrote in the Psalms

create in me a clean heart Renew in me a right spirit I know that such a heart is pleasing to you more than sacrifices or good works you desire a heart that is broken over sin and one that humbly seeks your forgiveness I pray that the Holy Spirit would continuously be tugging at my heart and soul teaching me how to be obedient to the Lord teaching me how to stand in faith and to fully trust in God give me a passion to Seek You Lord Give me a passion to hunt for your presence the last

thought in my mind before I sleep should be you and let my first thoughts each and every morning be you I submit to you and align my spirit to your will and purpose for my life open my ears so that they will be sensitive and receptive to your voice Lord I pray that your word would not depart from my mouth but instead I will read and meditate on it day and night so that I may be care careful to do Everything in accordance to your Will May the Holy Spirit help me to keep seeking things

that are above where Christ is seated at the right hand of God help me Holy Spirit to set my mind above and to keep focused on everything related to the kingdom of God help me not to conform to the things of this world help me not not to be distracted by things that are on the earth which only have temporal value and for me to even do this Lord I Need your Supernatural strength and so I declare that you Lord Jesus you are my source of strength that leads me to overcome the devil you Lord

Jesus are my source of strength that leads me to walk in Victory you are my source of strength that leads me to defeat sin you have said in your word that in the last days you will pour out your spirit on All Flesh and so I welcome you Holy Spirit I Invite your presence to encamp around me and to fill me help me to realize the promises of God promises for peace that surpass human understanding Promises of a sound mind Promises of protection I pray that you would move with me Holy Spirit walk with me

and speak to me be the still Small Voice that guides me and leads me I praise your Holy Name King Jesus be glorified I thank you for hearing my Prayer in the mighty name of Jesus Christ I pray amen there have been seasons in my life where I've been up against it there have been Seasons where I've been in the middle of a rock and a hard place and you know in these moments underneath that that that crushing feeling I've looked at my pain I've looked at my circum ances I've looked at everything falling apart

and I have asked the Question Lord why me are you really stealing control of my life because I'm in a freef fall and if you if you've ever read the story of Paul and Silas in the book of Acts the Bible says they were stripped and beaten with rot and after they had been severely flogged they were thrown into prison and placed in Chains hand and feet so I imagine that they too must have felt like their entire world was Falling apart they must have looked at their circumstances and at their situation and ask the

question is God still in control is God still in control of our lives and I wonder did the pain become too much for their bodies to bear I I can only imagine how uncomfortable it must have been to be chained hands and feet did they even for just a moment ever doubt because I'll be honest I have and if you have ever felt these emotions If if you've ever wavered for a moment if you've ever wrestled with doubt I want you to know that it's important to remember that faith and present circumstances don't always go

hand inand you can have faith in God but still find yourself going through hard times you can have faith in the Lord but your circumstances may still be challenging faith and present circumstances don't always go hand in hand Paul and Silas had Faith but they Were beaten and cast in Chains Paul and Silas had Faith but if you looked just at their circumstances it would appear as though they were abandoned it would appear as though they were forsaken just the environment they were in would lead you to believe that God no longer had his hand

over their lives but that's the beauty of God the Lord is faithful regardless of our circumstances sometimes tough situations come around To serve a purpose that purpose could be to remind you that God can make a way where there seems to be no way that purpose could be to glorify God that purpose could be for the Lord to demonstrate his healing power so be encouraged your situation will serve a purpose Paul and syas had no hope of Escape they were too badly beaten they were chained they were in prison and surrounded by guards there was

no hope Of escaping but their situation served a purpose if it were not for the chains would Paul and Silas have known that God is a chain breaker if it were not for them being confined to a prison would Paul and Silas have known that God can break every stronghold if it were not for their circumstances would Paul and Silas have known that the Lord is a way Maker and that's what we need to learn this season you're in will serve a purpose your present circumstances will serve a purpose where there looks to be no

way out maybe you're bound or chained in some area of your life God Will Make A Way if you keep your faith in him and regardless of how it looks right now don't let present circumstances overpower your faith Paul in 2 Corinthians 1:5 said for As we share abundantly in Christ's sufferings so through Christ we share abundantly in Comfort too if we are afflicted it is for your comfort and salvation and if we are comforted it is for your comfort which you experience when you patiently endure the same sufferings that we suffer Our Hope for

you is unshaken for we know that as you share in our sufferings you will also share in our comfort for we do not want to be unaware Brothers of the Affliction We experienced in Asia for we were so utterly burdened beyond our strength that we despaired of life itself indeed we felt that we had received the sentence of death but that was to make us rely not on ourselves but on God who raises the dead he delivered us from such a deadly Peril and he will deliver us on him we have set our hope that

he will deliver us again while in Asia Paul states that he had experienced Affliction he Experienced severe trials and he says he was burdened beyond strength so much so that he despaired of life itself he said It felt as though he had received a death sentence can you imagine that can you imagine going through hardships that make you feel as though you have a death sentence written against your name can you imagine being burdened by problems this is how Paul felt but if you pay attention to what he Says in verse 9 Paul says indeed

we felt that we had received the sentence of death but that was to make us rely not on ourselves but on God who raises the Dead He's essentially saying these difficult times these tough times have taught us to lose all faith in ourselves and to place all of our trust in The God Who raises the Dead all of us go through tough times all of us go through Seasons where it seems seems as though the odds are Stacked against us and pain becomes a feeling we're all too acquainted with in Psalms 119:71 David said it

is good for me that I have been Afflicted that I may learn your statutes and I've always asked the question how can it be good for you to be afflicted how is there any good for you to go through pain Tri ulation and hard times but here's the thing Afflictions tough situations do more than simply show what kind of character we have tough times shape and form out character now I believe that Affliction although unpleasant is necessary for the Christian man or woman because if it were not for the struggle you're going through how would

you know that God will never leave you nor forsake you if it were not for the Affliction in your body how else would you know that by his stripes we are healed if it were not for The financial challenges you faced how would you have known that the Lord is a provider problems can sometimes be a blessing saints of God so be encouraged regardless of what you're facing now let us pray Lord Jesus you are worthy to receive all of my praise and adoration if troubles weigh us down your mercy your grace will lift us

up although the hardships of life may push us to our limits by your mercy and by your grace Lord we will overcome father the situations we face at times may be tragic and heartbreaking but we Look to You Lord by your mercy and by your grace we are more than conquerors may your Divine will be accomplished in my life if the trial I face is meant to shape me and mold me in a way that is more pleasing to you then may your will be done if the trial I face is meant to build my

faith and build my character then may your will be Done Lord if the trial I face is meant to train me to become more patient more prayerful more grateful then may your will be done father whatever your will is for allowing me to face difficulty may you achieve within me that which you have set out to achieve Transform Me renew me teach me whatever the objective is I surrender to you Lord Jesus Psalms 102 2 verse 1 and 2 say hear my prayer oh Lord let my cry come To you do not hide your face

from me in the day of my distress incline your ear to me answer me speedily in the day when I call Lord hear our cry when we encounter difficulty when we're caught in trouble Deliver Us and be our help Father your word in James 1: 2-4 says count it all joy my brothers when you meet Trials of various kinds for you know that the testing of your faith Produces steadfastness and let steadfastness have its full effect that you may be perfect and complete lacking in nothing father if I am to face difficult times if I

am to endure tough times Times May it all be For Your Glory I pray that you would use any difficult challenges to build my character use those afflictions to strengthen my faith Lord help me to understand that sometimes you may allow Afflictions into my life so that I may grow spiritually so that I may learn to pray with more intensity Lord I understand that you are more concerned about about my character than my comfort levels you care more about my growth as a Believer than the number of blessings I receive you Lord are more concerned

with the state of my heart than the level of my comfort 1 Peter 1: 6-7 says in this you Rejoice though now for a little while if necessary you have been grieved by various trials so that the tested genius ESS of your faith more precious than gold that perishes though it's tested by fire may be found to result in praise and glory and honor at the revelation of Jesus Christ Lord as I face various trials May the result be that I will trust you more May the result of my trials be that I have stronger

faith I pray that every Afflict would lead me to spiritual maturity I pray that every Affliction will leave me with a desire to really connect with you Lord Jesus because I know that I cannot go through this life with My Own Strength Lord your word tells me that many are the afflictions of the righteous but the Lord delivers him out of them all and so I look to you as my Rescue father when you allow me to go through tough times when you allow me to face certain obstacles I will hold on to your word

your word that says in Psalm 34:1 15 to18 the eyes of the Lord are toward the righteous and his ears toward their cry the face of the Lord is against those who do evil to cut off the memory of them from the Earth when the righteous Cry for Help the Lord hears and delivers them out of all their Troubles the Lord is near to the Brokenhearted and saves the crushed in spirit I bless your holy name and I thank you for hearing my prayer Lord Jesus be glorified Now and Forever More in Jesus name I

pray amen therefore my beloved brothers and sisters be steadfast immovable always excelling in the work of the lord always doing your best and doing more than is needed being continually aware that your labor even to the point of exhaustion in The Lord is not feudal nor wasted it is never without [Music] purpose there must come a time when you as a Believer must decide I will stand strong and follow the word of God regarding regardless of what I will have to give up and who I will have to let go of there comes a time

when you have to decide I will stand and do The Godly thing I will forgive even when it's hard To do even when I've been hurt there will come a time when you will have to decide to stand in faith even when you can't see a way out of the situation that you're in in now today you may be under attack in some area of your life you have tried everything to resolve it but nothing is working nothing is changing dear friend this is the time you ought to take a stand and Believe believe in

the power of the blood of Jesus it will break you out of that bondage believe in the power that's in the blood of Jesus Christ it can set you free it can give you Victory and it can loose you from any evil hold it's time to take a stand with the word of God against the forces of evil stand firm stand in confidence stand in righteousness Psalm 5 6:3 says when I am afraid I put my trust in you in God Whose word I Praise In God I trust I shall not be afraid what can

flesh do to me we need to be men and women who put their trust in the Lord and mind you you will only ever be able to stand firm when your trust is secured in the the Lord so if you feel stuck if you feel under attack remember that the Bible says in Psalm 31: 24 be strong and Let Your Heart Take courage all you who wait for the Lord be strong Saints and stand in faith as you Do this the Lord is sure to rescue you and so as children of God I believe I

believe that it's time to stand stand up and lift High his Royal Banner you are an ambassador of the most high stand up to the lies of the enemy stand up with the truth of the Gospel stand up with the strength of the Holy Spirit stand up in God's strength and I encourage you as you stand in faith pray and ask the Lord to be with you as you Stand now let us pray Stand By Me Lord Jesus stand with me Lord I need you with me always I need you close and always by my

side I need the Fellowship of the Holy Spirit I need the companionship of the Holy Spirit Lord Jesus I need you in this life on my own I know that I am lost and I am condemned but with you with you Lord I Have a purpose my life has meaning my life has Direction because my steps they are ordered by you father on my own I am vulnerable I am confused and without a home however that changes when you are in my life when you are with me Lord I am protected and my feet are

on high ground when you are with me Jesus I have Clarity there is no Spirit of confusion that can cloud my mind my heart or my spirit when you are with me I have a Home I have citizenship in heaven in fact I hold on to the promise that you spoke in John 14:3 you said and if I go and prepare a place for you I will come again and will take you to myself that where I am you may be also my need for you is great Lord Jesus my need for you is clear

I need you more than I need silver and gold or the riches of this world I need you Jesus more than I need a new car a New house or more money Lord I cannot save myself I cannot heal or redeem myself I need you Lord Lord I need you because I can't give myself eternal life nor can I overcome sin on my my own it's you that I need Master Lord I have realized that in this life it is impossible to win it's impossible to overcome or have Victory by Myself father there are strongholds

that I cannot break there are problems that I can't overcome on my own Jesus I need you I need the Good Shepherd I need one who can speak peace and Stillness into the storms of life Lord I need you to stand by me calm my emotions let my heart not be troubled father there are giants that I'm facing giant oppositions which follow my family bloodline and Lord I can't fight them With My Own Strength I need divine intervention I need Supernatural strength to overcome so I pray father Hear My Cry as I ask that you

stand by me God be with me always because if I try and do things on my own if I try and live life with My Own Strength it simply won't work without your grace everything is out of my reach father my prayer is that you would always be with Me be with me as I face the storms of life be with me as I walk through the valley of the shadow of death Stand By Me in the fiery furnace Stand By Me When I can't see a way out when the enemy comes at me like

a flood raise up a standard Lord I pray that you would not allow the challenges that I face to overwhelm me Lord Jesus when problems appear to be daunting give me Divine strength father your word says in John 24 verses 18- 20 I will not leave you as orphans I will come to you yet a little while and the world will see me no more but you will see me because I live you also will live in that day you will know that I am in my father and you in me and I in you

I thank you Lord for such a promise you have promised never to leave us alone when the odds are against us we will not fear for you are with us whether I am in the Lion's Den or in the Eye of a storm I trust and believe that you will always be faithful and Stand By Me Blessed Be Your Name King Jesus amen the Lord is my light and my salvation Whom Shall I Fear the Lord is the stronghold of my life of whom shall I be afraid when problems arise and we find that our

backs are against the wall the word of God has to be a source of encouragement to us the word of God has To be that which ignites the fire in our faith it reinvigorates Our Hope and belief so that regardless of what you're facing despite the size of the enemy despite whatever is taking place in our Our Lives we have a Divine and Heavenly insurance policy which is the word of God now I urge you to look at Luke 4 very closely Jesus was in the wilderness and he was tempted by the devil in Luke

4: 3-4 the Bible says and the devil said to Him if you are the Son of God command this Stone to become bread but Jesus answered him saying it is written man shall not live by bread alone but by every word of God in verses 5 to7 the devil continues his advances and offers Jesus the kingdoms of this world but in Luke 4:8 here's how Jesus responds the Bible reads and Jesus answered and said to him get behind me Satan for it is written you shall Worship the Lord your God and him Only You Shall

Serve now the devil was audacious and he thought to try and tempt Jesus a third time in verse 9 he takes Jesus to Jerusalem and has him stand at the highest point of the Temple saying if you are the Son of God throw yourself down from here but once again Jesus responds in Luke 4: 10-1 saying for it is written he shall give His angels charge over you to keep you and in their hands they shall bear you up lest you dash your foot against the stone now I want you to understand that the devil

tempted Jesus three times and each time Jesus referred to the word of God the devil knocked three times and each time he was answered with the word of God the devil offered riches he said if it's money that you want worship me if it's power that you want worship me Jesus was offered the kingdoms of This World by Satan but Jesus was content he was full of God's word three times Jesus responded by saying it is written and then proceeded to refer to the word of God now let me ask you when the devil tempts

you how will you respond what will you say when the devil Knocks on the door of your house and tries to convince you to let him in how will you respond do you have enough of God's word In you to resist do you have enough of God's word in you to fight we need to dwell and meditate on the word of God because it tells us all that we need to know about how to resist the devil how to defeat the Devil and how to be protected against the devil lord Jesus you are Great and

Mighty I pray that your word may be kept hidden in my heart may I live a life according to the Principles and commands that are in your word I pray that the holy spirit will bring the word of God to Life For Me may your word be ingrained in My Heart Lord Lord should the devil try to tempt me let your word rise up within me and strengthen me should the devil try to lure me with riches with fame or with anything in this world help me to hold on to your word help me to

remember that your word in 1 Corinthians 10:13 says no temptation has overtaken You except such as is common to man but God is faithful who will not allow you to be tempted beyond what you are able but with the Temptation will also make the way of Escape that you may be able to Bear it lord it's in you that I find satisfaction if I hunger you are the bread of life if I thirst I will come to you Jesus because I know that in you my heart will overflow with rivers of Living Water keep me

strong Lord Jesus help me to reject the advances of Satan help me to declare your word when I am confronted by evil I stand on your word that says in Isaiah [Music] 41:3 for I the Lord your God hold your your right hand it is I who say to you fear not I am the one who helps you I thank you for such a promise I will not fear because my help Comes from the Lord although the devil may work against me I trust you to help me although my enemies may come against me I

trust you to be my Defender Lord Jesus indeed a thousand may fall at my side and 10,000 at my right hand but it shall not come near me because I have Jesus Christ as my refuge Lord I stand on your word that says in Psalm 27:1 the Lord is my light and my Salvation Whom Shall I Fear the Lord is the stronghold of my life of whom shall I be afraid although the struggles of life may come in all shapes and sizes you my Lord are a stronghold in the day of trouble I am secured

by your promises you are a God who has never lost a battle a God who has never been defeated nor can ever be defeated so whatever comes against me I know that I have a strong and almighty God fighting for me father I pray and declare that I have Victory in Jesus I declare that I am more than a conqueror according to God's word I am covered by the blood of Jesus Christ be praised Master be glorified I thank you for hearing my prayer in the mighty name of Jesus Christ I pray amen what of

my favorite verses in the Bible is in Job 13:15 where he says this about God though he slay me yet will I trust him even so I will defend my own ways before him think about what Measure of Faith what measure of assurance you need to have to be able to say the words though he slay me yet will I trust him those are fighting words those are strong words no matter what comes no matter what happens to me I will trust in Jesus I pray to have faith like job faith that stands in the

face of of total despair total loss and destruction but still say though he slay me yet will I trust him how I desire to reach that level of maturity as a Christian how I pray that when my season of testing comes Lord help me to plant my feet to square my should shoulders roll Up my sleeves and boldly confess though he slay me yet will I trust him I look at the story of job as a unique example of Faith Under Fire here he was wealthy and upright a man who had everything going for him

but the devil entered the picture job experienced some fairly extreme ex conditions in chapter 1 and: 13- 22 it gets pretty intense we're told about Job's righteousness how there was none like him in all of the land he was a man of character and who feared God eventually Satan is allowed to test job and here enters a hardship like many of us will never experience first a messenger comes to tell job that the sians attacked and stole all of his livestock and then killed his servants with them next before that servant can finish Another comes

and tells him that fire fell from heaven and burned up all of his sheep and killed the servants with them then another comes to say to him that Raiders have stolen his camels and killed those servants and then the last straw a great wind comes and causes the house to fall on all of his children and they are killed so here is a man who is considered righteous and God-fearing this was just a man with Integrity but in a few minutes he had his entire world turned upside down just imagine for a moment if you

lost your job lost everything dear to you your life savings your home and from an Earthly perspective lost any hope for the future at that moment there would be an understandable temptation to enter into a great depression and many have for lesser things but if you look at job's response In verse 20 and 21 it says at this job got up and tore his robe and shaved his head then he fell to the ground in worship and said naked I came from my mother's womb and naked I will depart the lord gave and the Lord

has taken away May the name of the Lord be praised what an example of Faith through all all of this job did not sin nor did he blame God and this kind of attitude and perspective this is the answer to Victory job recognized that God In His Infinite goodness has everything under control that somehow this is what was best he conceded that his life is in God's [Music] hands he acknowledges that God gives and sometimes takes away and chooses to worship god with a grateful Heart job had the assurance that said my life is in

God's hands and it's that faith that belief that got him through that difficult time it got much worse for job for a season as he even lost his own health but in all of this horrific loss job never left God and turned elsewhere but here's what the Bible says about what became of job in the end job 42:12 says so the Lord blessed job in the second half of his life even more Than in the beginning for now he had 14,000 sheep 6,000 camels 1,000 teams of oxen and 1,000 female donkeys everything was restored to

job more abundantly than what he had before he had remained faithful and could do so because he knew that God was in full control and would work things out for his good and God's glory that is our big step to take that's the key for us too if you want to have victory of emotional trials we must focus on the fact that God is in control and have faith in that he will work things out for our good and His glory your life is in God's hands a few more thoughts on this job was understandably

driven to a very dark place and many of us can relate we've been there we've all been at a point where our faith is tried we've all been to a place that has left us in some kind of distress a place where you feel as Though this is completely rock bottom and job felt as if life had no meaning he felt as though life was not worth living anymore even his friends judged and condemned him by implying that he was not a Godly Man and that he deserved what happened to him even his wife told

the question Lord why me are you really stealing control of my life because I'm in a free fall and if you if you've ever read the story of Paul and Silas in the book of Acts the Bible says they were stripped and beaten with rods and after they have been severely flogged they were thrown into prison and placed in Chains hand and feet so I imagine that they too must Have felt like their entire world was falling apart they must have looked at their circumstances and at their situation and ask the question is God still

in control is God still in control of our lives and I wonder did the pain become too much for their bodies to bear I can only imagine how uncomfortable it must have been to be chained hands and feet did they even for just a moment ever doubt because I'll be Honest I have and if you have ever felt these emotions if if you've ever wavered for a moment if you've ever wrestled with doubt I want you to know that it's important to remember that faith and present circumstances don't always go hand inand you can have

faith in God but still find yourself going through hard times you can have faith in the Lord but your circumstances may still be challenging faith and present Circumstances don't always go hand in hand Paul and Silas had Faith but they were beaten and cast in Chains Paul and Silas had Faith but if you looked just at their circumstances it would appear as though they were abandoned it would appear as though they were forsaken just the environment they were in would lead you to believe that God no longer had his hand over their lives but that's

the beauty of God the Lord is faithful regardless of our circumstances sometimes tough situations come around to serve a purpose that purpose could be to remind you that God can make a way where there seems to be no way that purpose could be to glorify God that purpose could be for the Lord to demonstrate his healing power so be encouraged your situation will serve a purpose Paul and Silas had no hope of Escape they were too badly beaten they Were chained they were in prison and surrounded by guards there was no hope of escaping but

their situation served a purpose if it were not for the chains would Paul and Silas have known that God is a chain breaker if it were not for them being confined to a prison would Paul and Silas have known that God can break every stronghold if it were not for their Circumstances would Paul and Silas have known that the Lord is a way maker and that's what we need to learn this season you're in will'll serve a purpose your present circumstances will serve a purpose where there looks to be no way out maybe you're bound

or chained in some area of your life God Will Make A Way if you keep your faith in him and regardless of how it looks right now don't let present circumstances overpower your Faith Paul in second Corinthians 1:5 said for as we share abundantly inist Christ sufferings so through Christ we share abundantly in Comfort too if we are afflicted it is for your comfort and salvation and if we are comforted it is for your comfort which you experience when you patiently endure the same sufferings that we suffer Our Hope for you is unshaken for we

know that as you share in our sufferings you will also share In our comfort for we do not want to be unaware Brothers of the Affliction we experienced in Asia for we were so utterly burdened beyond our strength that we despaired of life itself indeed we felt that we had received the sentence of death but that was to make us rely not on ourselves but on God who raises the dead he delivered us from such a deadly Peril and he will Deliver Us on him we have set our hope that he will deliver us Again

while in Asia Paul states that he had experienced Affliction he experienced severe trials and he says he was burdened beyond strength so much so that he Des spared of life itself he said It felt as though though he had received a death sentence can you imagine that can you imagine going through hardships that make you feel as though you have a death sentence written against your name can you imagine being burdened by problems this is how Paul Felt but if you pay attention to what he says in verse 9 Paul says indeed we felt that

we had received the sentence of death but that was to make us rely not on ourselves but on God who raises the Dead He's essentially saying these difficult times these tough times have taught us to lose all faith in ourselves and to place all of our trust in The God Who raises the Dead all of us go through tough times all of us go through Seasons where it Seems as though the odds are stacked against us and pain becomes a feeling we're all too acquainted with in Psalms 119:71 David said it is good for me

that I have been Afflicted that I may learn your statutes and I've always ask the question how can it be good for you to be afflicted how is there there any good for you to go through pain tribulation And hard times but here's the thing afflictions tough situations do more than simply show what kind of character we have tough times shape and form out character now I believe that Affliction although unpleasant is necessary for the Christian man or woman because if it were not for the struggle you're going going through how would you know that

God will never leave you nor forsake you if it were not for the Affliction in your body how else would you know that By his stripes we are healed if it were not for the financial challenges you faced how would you have known that the Lord is a provider problems can sometimes be a blessing saints of God so be encouraged regard regardless of what you're facing now let us pray Lord Jesus you are worthy to receive all of my praise and adoration if troubles weigh us down your mercy your grace will Lift us up although

the hardships of life may push us to our limits by your mercy and by your grace Lord we will overcome father the situations we face at times may be tragic and heartbreaking but we Look to You Lord by your mercy and by your grace we are more than conquerors may your Divine will be accomplished in my life if the trial I face is meant to shape me and mold me in a way that is more pleasing to you then May your will be done if the trial I face is meant to build my faith and

build my character then may your will be done Lord if the trial I face is meant to train me to become more patient more prayerful more grateful then may your will be done father whatever your will is for allowing me to face difficulty may you achieve within me that which you have set out to achieve Transform Me renew me teach me whatever the objective is I Surrender to you Lord Lord Jesus Psalms 102 verse1 and2 say hear my prayer oh Lord let my cry come to you do not hide your face from me in the

day of my distress incline your ear to me answer me speedily in the day when I call Lord hear our cry when we encounter difficulty when we're caught in trouble Deliver Us and be our our help Father your word in James 1: 2-4 says count it all joy my brothers when you Meet Trials of various kinds for you know that the testing of your faith produces steadfastness and let steadfastness have its full effect that you may be perfect and complete lacking in nothing father if I am to face difficult times times if I am to

endure tough times may it all be For Your Glory I pray that you would use any difficult challenges to build my character use those afflictions to Strengthen my faith Lord help me to understand that sometimes you may allow afflictions into my life so that I may grow spiritually so that I may learn to pray with more intensity Lord I understand that you are more concerned about my character than my comfort levels you care more about my growth as a Believer than the number of blessings I receive you Lord are more concerned with the state of

my heart than the level of My comfort 1 Peter 1: 6-7 says in this you rejoice though now for a little while if necessary you have been grieved by very ious trials so that the tested genuiness of your faith more precious than gold that perishes though it's tested by fire may be found to result in praise and glory and honor at the revelation of Jesus Christ Lord as I face various trials May the result be that I will trust you more May the result of my trials be that I have stronger Fai faith I pray

that every Affliction would lead me to spiritual maturity I pray that every Affliction will leave me with a desire to really connect with you Lord Jesus because I know that I cannot go through this life with My Own Strength Lord your word tells me that many are the afflictions of the righteous but the Lord delivers him out Of them all and so I look to you as my rescue father when you allow me to go through tough times when you allow me to face certain obstacles I will hold on to your word your word that

says in Psalm 34:1 15-18 the eyes of the Lord are toward the righteous and his ears toward their cry the face of the Lord is against those who do evil to cut off the memory of them from the Earth when the righteous Cry for Help the Lord Lord Hears and delivers them out of all their troubles the Lord is near to the Brokenhearted and saves the crushed in spirit I bless your holy name and I thank you for hearing my prayer Lord Jesus be glorified Now and Forever More in Jesus name I pray amen therefore

my beloved brothers and sisters be steadfast in immovable always excelling in the work of the lord always doing your best and doing more than is needed being continually aware that your Labor even to the point of exhaustion in the Lord is not feudal nor wasted it is never without purpose there must come a time when you as a Believer must decide I will stand strong and follow the word of God regardless of what I will have to give up and who I will have to let go of there comes a time when you have to

decide I will stand and do The Godly thing I will forgive even when it's hard To do even when I've been hurt there will come a time when you will have to decide to stand in faith even when you can't see a way out of the situation that you're in now today you may be under attack in some area of your life you have tried everything to resolve it but nothing is working nothing is changing dear friend this is the time you ought to take a stand and Believe believe in the power of the blood

of Jesus it will break you out of that bondage believe in the power that's in the blood of Jesus Christ it can set you free it can give you Victory and it can loose you from any evil hold it's time to take a stand with the word of God against the forces of evil stand firm stand in confidence stand in rightous ious nness Psalm 56:3 says when I am afraid I Put my trust in you in God whose word I Praise In God I trust I shall not be afraid what can flesh do to me

we need to be men and women who put their trust in the Lord and mind you you will only ever be able to stand firm when when your trust is secured in the Lord so if you feel stuck if you feel under attack remember that the Bible says in Psalm 31: 24 be strong and Let Your Heart Take courage all you who wait for the Lord be Strong Saints and stand in faith as you do this the Lord is sure to rescue you and so as children of God I believe I believe that it's time

to stand stand up and lift High his Royal Banner you are an ambassador of the most high stand up to the lies of the enemy stand up with the truth of the Gospel stand up with the strength of the Holy Spirit stand up in God's strength and I encourage you as you stand in faith pray and ask the Lord to be with you as you Stand now let us pray Stand By Me Lord Jesus stand with me Lord I need you with me always I need you close and always by my side I need the

Fellowship of the Holy Spirit I need the companionship of the Holy Spirit Lord Jesus I need you in this life on my own I know that I am lost and I am condemned but with You with you Lord I have a purpose my life has meaning my life has Direction because my steps they are ordered by you father on my own I am vulnerable I am confused and without a home however that changes when you are in my life when you are with me Lord I am protected and my feet are on high ground when

you are with me Jesus I have Clarity there is no Spirit of confusion that can cloud my mind my heart or my Spirit when you are with me I have a home I have citizenship in heaven in fact I hold on to the promise that you spoke in John 14:3 you said and if I go and prepare a place for you I will come again and will take you to myself that where I am you may be also my need for you is great Lord Lord Jesus my need for you is clear I need you

more than I need silver and gold or the riches of this World I need you Jesus more than I need a new car a new house or more money Lord I cannot save myself I cannot heal or redeem myself I need you Lord Lord I need you because I can't give myself eternal life nor can I overcome sin on my own it's you that I need Master Lord I have realized that in this life it is impossible to win it's impossible to overcome or have Victory By myself father there are strongholds that I cannot break

there are problems that I can't over overcome on my own Jesus I Need You I need the Good Shepherd I need one who can speak peace and Stillness into the storms of life Lord I need you to stand by me calm my emotions let my heart not be troubled father there are giants that I'm facing giant oppositions which follow my family Bloodline and Lord I can't fight them with My Own Strength I need divine intervention I need Supernatural strength to overcome so I pray father Hear My Cry as I ask that you stand by me

God be with me always because if I try and do things on my own if I try and live life with My Own Strength it simply won't W work without your grace everything is out of my reach father my prayer is that you would Always be with me be with me as I face the storms of life be with me as I walk through the valley of the shadow of death Stand By Me in the fiery furnace Stand By Me When I can't see a way out when the enemy comes at me like a flood

raise up a standard Lord I pray that you would not allow the challenges that I face to overwhelm me Lord Jesus when problems appear to be daunting give me Divine strength father your word says in John 24: 18- 20 I will not leave you as orphans I will come to you yet a little while and the world will see me no more but you will see me because I live you also will live in that day you will know that I am in my father and you in me and I in you I thank you

Lord for such a promise you have promised never to leave us alone when the odds are against us we will not fear for you are with us whether I am in the lion in or in the Eye of a storm I trust and believe that you will always be faithful and Stand By Me Blessed Be Your Name King Jesus amen the Lord is my light and my salvation Whom Shall I Fear the Lord is the stronghold of my life of whom shall I be afraid when problems arise and we find that our backs are against

the wall the word of God has to be a source of encouragement to us the word of God has To be that which ignites the fire in our faith it reinvigorates Our Hope and belief so that regardless of what you're facing despite the size of the enemy despite whatever is taking place in our lives we have a Divine and Heavenly insurance policy which is the word of God now I urge you to look at Luke 4 very closely Jesus was in the wilderness and he was tempted by the devil in Luke 4 verse 3 to

4 the Bible says and the Devil said to him if you you are the Son of God command this Stone to become bread but Jesus answered him saying it is written man shall not live by bread alone but by every word of God in verses 5 to7 the devil continues his advances and offers Jesus the kingdoms of this world but in Luke 4:8 here's how Jesus responds the Bible reads and Jesus answered and said to him get behind me Satan for it is written you shall Worship the Lord Your God and him Only You Shall

Serve now the devil was audacious and he thought to try and tempt Jesus a third time in verse 9 he takes Jesus to Jerusalem and has him stand at the highest point of the temple saying if you are the Son of God throw yourself down from here but once again Jesus responds in Luke 4: 10-1 saying for it is written he shall give his angels charge over you to keep you And in their hands they shall bear you up lest you dash your foot against the Stone now I want you to understand that the devil

tempted Jesus three times and each time Jesus referred to the word of God the devil knocked three times and each time he was answered with the word of God the devil offered riches he said if it's money that you want worship me if it's power that you want worship me Jesus was offered the kingdoms of This World by Satan but Jesus was content he Was full of God's word three times Jesus responded by saying it is written and then proceeded to refer to the word of God now let me ask you when the devil tempts

you how will you respond what will you say when the devil knocks on the door of your house and tries to convince you to let him in how will you respond do you have enough of God's word in you to resist do you have enough of God's word In you to fight we need to dwell and meditate on the word of God because it tells us all that we need to know about how to resist the devil how to Def defeat the Devil and how to be protected against the devil lord Jesus you are Great

and Mighty I pray that your word may be kept hidden in my heart may I live a life according to the principles and commands that are in your word I pray that the holy spirit will Bring the word of God to Life For Me may your word be ingrained in My Heart Lord should the devil try to tempt me let your word rise up within me and strengthen me should the devil try to lure me with riches with fame or with anything in this world help me to hold on to your word help me to

remember that your word in First Corinthians 10: 13 says no temptation has overtaken you you except such as is common to man but God is faithful who will not allow you to be Tempted beyond what you are able but with the Temptation will also make the way of Escape that you may be able to Bear it lord it's in you that I find satisfaction if I hunger you are the bread of life if I thirst I will come to you Jesus because I know that in you my heart will overflow with rivers of Living Water

keep me strong Lord Jesus help me to reject the advances of Satan help me to declare your word when I am confronted by evil I stand on your word that says in Isaiah [Music] 41:13 for I the Lord your God hold your right hand it is I who say to you fear not I am the one who helps you I thank you for such a promise I will not fear because my help comes from the Lord although the devil may work against me I trust you to help Me although my enemies may come against me

I I trust you to be my Defender Lord Jesus indeed a thousand may fall at my side and 10,000 at my right hand but it shall not come near me because I have Jesus Christ as my refuge Lord I stand on your word that says in Psalm 27:1 the Lord is my light and my salvation Whom Shall I Fear the Lord is the stronghold of my life of whom shall I be Afraid although the struggles of life may come in all shapes and sizes you my Lord are a stronghold in the day of trouble I

am secured by your promises you are a God who has never lost a battle a God who has never been defeated nor can ever be defeated so whatever comes against me I know that I have a strong and almighty God fighting for me father I pray and declare that I have Victory in Jesus I declare that I am more than a conqueror according to God's word I am covered by the blood of Jesus Christ be praised Master be glor ified I thank you for hearing my prayer in the mighty name of Jesus Christ I pray

amen one of my favorite verses in the Bible is in Job 13:15 where he says this about God though he slay me yet will I trust him even so I will defend my own ways before Him think about what measure of fa Faith what measure of assurance you need to have to be able to say the words though he slay me yet will I trust him those are fighting words those are strong words no matter what comes no matter what happens to me I will trust in Jesus I pray to have faith like job faith

that stands in the face of total despair total loss and Destruction but still say though he slay me yet will I trust him how I desire to reach that level of maturity as a Christian how I pray that when my season of testing comes Lord help me to plant my feet to square my shoulders roll up my sleeves and boldly confess though he slay me yet will I trust him I look at the story of job as a Unique example of Faith Under Fire here he was wealthy and upright a man who had everything going

for him but the devil entered the picture job experienced some fairly extreme conditions in chapter 1 and: 13 through 22 it gets pretty intense we're told about job's righteousness how there was none like him in all of the land he was a man of character and who feared God eventually Satan is allowed to test Job and here enters a hardship like men of us will never experience first a messenger comes to tell job that the sians attacked and stole all of his livestock and then killed his servants with them next before that servant can finish

another comes and tells him that fire fell from heaven and burned up all of his sheep and killed the servants with them then another comes to say to him that Raiders have stolen his camels and Killed those servants and then the last straw a great wind comes and causes the house to fall on all of his children and they are killed so here is a man who is considered righteous and God-fearing this was just a man with Integrity but in a few minutes he had his entire world turned upside down just imagine for a moment

if you lost your job lost everything dear to you your Life savings your home and from an Earthly perspective lost any hope for the future at that moment there would be an understandable temptation to enter into a great depression and many have for lesser things but if you look at job's response in verse 20 and 21 it says at this job got up and tore his robe and shaved his head then he fell to the ground in worship and said naked I Came from my mother's womb and naked I will depart the lord gave and

the Lord has taken away May the name of the Lord be praised what an ex example of Faith through all of this job did not sin nor did he blame God and this kind of attitude and perspective this is the answer to Victory job recognized that God In His Infinite goodness has everything under control that somehow this is what was Best he conceded that his life is in God's hands he acknowledges that God gives and sometimes takes away and chooses to worship god with a grateful heart job had the assurance that said my life is

in God's hands and it's that faith that belief that got him through that difficult time it got much worse for job for a season as he even lost his own health But in all of this horrific loss job never left God and turned elsewhere but here's what the Bible says about what became of job in the end job 42:12 says so the Lord blessed job in the second half of his life even more than in the beginning for now he had 14,000 sheep 6,000 camels 1,000 teams of oxen and 1,000 female donkeys everything was restored

to job more abundantly than what he had before he had remained faithful and could do so Because he knew that God was in full control and would work things out for his good and God's glory that is our big step to take that's the key for us too if you want to have victory of emotional trials we must focus on the fact that God is in control and have faith in that he will work things out for our good and His glory your life is in God's hands a few more thoughts on this job was

understandably driven to a Very dark place and many of us can relate we've been there we've all been at a point where our faith is tried we've all been to a place that has left us in some kind of distress a place where you feel as though this is completely rock bottom and job felt as if life had no meaning he felt as though life was not worth living anymore even his friends judged and condemned him by implying that he was Not a Godly Man and that he deserved what happened to him [Music] even his

wife told him that he should just Curse God and die talk about feeling truly alone but I admire job for ignoring those around him I admir job for taking a stance of saying though he slay me yet will I trust him something many of us need to start practicing job didn't listen to any Naysayers or the discouragers nor did he take their advice he remained strong in faith although he was feeling down in Despair and depressed he remained strong in faith although he had so many questions for God although he fully didn't understand why God

had allowed all this to happen to him job still feared the Lord job still trusted in the Lord now will you have the same Approach will you have the same stance as job will you remain strong and firm in faith when your faith is under Fire now let us pray father you alone are worthy of my adoration each and every day Lord Jesus you are ever faithful you are my Hiding Place at this present time I ask for Your protection and covering over my life and over my family's life so Lord help me to guard

my heart help me to fill my heart with your word help me to be vigilant against every force of evil evil and every cunning lie of man help me to be in the world but not of it help me to be in this world but not to love it Empower me to be a strong Godly influence in this world rather than for me to be influenced by this World help me to be salt in this earth help me to be a light in the darkness guiding my friends and my family and neighbors and strangers alike

to the glorious cross your word calls me in Philippians 4:8 to say finally Brothers whatever is true whatever is Honorable whatever is just whatever is pure whatever is lovely whatever is commendable if there is any Excellence if there is anything worthy of Praise think about these Things Lord I pray that I would not be a a sponge that absorbs all the filth of this world no instead let me be like a mirror reflecting your goodness for all to see let me be like a mirror that reflects your love Lord like David wrote in the Psalms

create in me a clean heart renew in me a right spirit I know that such a heart is pleasing to you more than sacrifices or good works you desire a heart that is is broken over sin and one that humbly Seeks your forgiveness I pray that the Holy Spirit would continuously be tugging at my heart and soul teaching me how to be obedient to the Lord teaching me how to stand in faith and to fully trust in God give me a passion to Seek You Lord give me a passion to hunt for your presence the

last thought in my mind before I sleep should be you and let my first thoughts each and every morning be You I submit to you and align my spirit to your will and purpose for my life open my ears so that they will be sensitive and receptive to your voice Lord I pray that your word would not depart from my mouth but instead I will read and meditate on it day and night so that I may be careful to do everything in accordance to your Will May the Holy Spirit help me to keep seeking things

that are above where Christ is seated at the right hand of God help me Holy Spirit to set my mind above and to keep focused on everything related to the kingdom of God God help me not to conform to the things of this world help me not to be distracted by things that are on the earth which only have temporal value and for me to even do this Lord I need your Supernatural strength and so I declare that you Lord Jesus you are my source of strength that leads me to overcome the devil you Lord

Jesus are my Source of strength that leads me to walk in Victory you are my source of strength that leads me to defeat sin you have said in your word that in the last days you will pour out your spirit on All Flesh and so I welcome you Holy Spirit I invite your presence to encamp around me and to fill me help me to realize the promise Promises of God promises for peace that surpass human understanding Promises of a sound mind Promises of protection I pray that you would move with me Holy Spirit walk with

David said it is good for me that I have been Afflicted that I may learn your statutes and I've always asked the Question how can it be good for you to be afflicted how is there any good for you to go through pain tribulation and hard times but here's the thing afflictions tough situations do more than simply show what kind of character we have tough times shape and form out character now I believe that Affliction although unpleasant is necessary for the Christian man or woman because if it were not for the struggle you're going Through

how would you know that God will never leave you nor forsake you if it were not for the Affliction in your body how else would you know that by his stripes we are healed if it were not for the financial challenges you faced how would you have known that the Lord is a provider problems can sometimes be a blessing saints of God y so be encouraged regardless of what you're facing now let us pray Lord Jesus you are worthy to Receive all of my praise and adoration if troubles weigh us down your mercy your grace

will lift us up although the hardships of life may push us to our limits by your mercy and by your grace Lord we will will overcome father the situations we face at times may be tragic and heartbreaking but we Look to You Lord by your mercy and by your grace we are more than conquerors may your Divine will be accomplished in my life if the trial I Face is meant to shape me and mold me in a way that is more pleasing to you then may your will be done if the trial I faces is

meant to build my faith and build my character then may your will be done Lord if the trial I face is meant to train me to become more patient more prayerful more grateful then may your will be done father whatever your will is for allowing me to face difficulty may you achieve within me that which you have Set out to achieve Transform Me renew me teach me whatever the objective is I surrender to you Lord Jesus Psalms 102 verse1 and 2 say hear my prayer oh Lord let my cry come to you do not hide

your face from me in the day of my distress incline your ear to me answer me speedily in the day when I call Lord hear our cry when we encounter difficulty when we're caught in trouble Deliver Us and be our help Father your word in James 1: 2 to 4 says count it all joy my brothers when you meet Trials of various kinds for you know that the testing of your faith produces steadfastness and let steadfastness have its full effect that you may be perfect and complete lacking in nothing father if I am to face

difficult times if I am to endure tough times may it all be For Your Glory I pray that you would use any Difficult challenges to build my character use those afflictions to strengthen my faith Lord help me to understand that sometimes you may allow afflictions into my life so that I may grow spiritually so that I may learn to pray pray with more intensity Lord I understand that you are more concerned about my character than my comfort levels you care more about my growth as a Believer than the number of blessings I Receive you Lord

are more concerned with the state of my heart than the level of my comfort 1 Peter 1 verse 6 to7 says in this you rejoice though now for a little while if necessary AR you have been grieved by various trials so that the tested genuiness of your faith more precious than gold that perishes though it's tested by fire may be found to result in praise and glory and honor at the revelation of Jesus Christ Lord as I face various trials May the result be that I will trust you more May the result of my trials

be that I have stronger faith I pray that every Affliction would lead me to spiritual maturity I pray that every Affliction will leave me with a desire to really connect with you Lord Jesus because I know that I cannot go through this life with My Own Strength Lord your word tells me that many are the afflictions of the Righteous but the Lord delivers him out of them all and so I look to you as my rescue father when you allow me to go through tough times when you allow me to face certain obstacles I will

hold on to your word your word that says in Psalm 34 verse 15 to 18 the eyes of the Lord are toward the righteous and his ears toward their cry the face of the Lord is against those who do evil to cut off the memory of them from the Earth When the righteous Cry for Help the Lord hears and delivers them out of all their troubles the Lord is near to the Brokenhearted and saves the crushed in spirit I bless your holy name and I thank you for hearing my prayer Lord Jesus be glorified Now

and Forever More in Jesus name I pray amen therefore my beloved brothers and sisters be steadfast immovable always excelling in the work of the lord always doing Your best and doing more than is needed being continually aware that your labor even to the point of exhaustion in the Lord is not feudal nor wasted it is never without purpose there must come a time when you as a Believer must de side I will stand strong and follow the word of God regardless of what I will have to give up and who I will have to let

go of there comes a time when you have to Decide I will stand and do The Godly thing I will forgive even when it's hard to do even when I've been hurt there will come a time when you will have have to decide to stand in faith even when you can't see a way out of the situation that you're in now today you may be under attack in some area of your life you have tried everything to resolve it but nothing is working nothing is Changing dear friend this is the time you ought to take

a stand and believe believe believe in the power of the blood of Jesus it will break you out of that bondage believe in the power that's in the blood of Jesus Christ it can set you free it can give you Victory and it can loose you from any evil hold it's time to take a stand with the word of God against the forces of evil stand firm stand in Confidence stand in righteousness Psalm 56:3 says when I am afraid I put my trust in you in God whose word I Praise In God I trust I

shall not be afraid what can flesh do to me we need to be men and women who put their trust in the Lord and mind you you will only ever be able to stand firm when your trust is secured in the Lord so if you feel stuck if you feel under attack remember that the Bible says in Psalm 31 verse 24 be strong and Let Your Heart Take courage all you who wait for the Lord be strong Saints and stand in faith as you do this the Lord is sure to rescue you and so as

children of God I believe I believe that it's time to stand stand up and lift High his Royal Banner you are an ambassador of the most high stand up to the lies of the enemy stand up with the truth of the Gospel stand up with the strength of the Holy Spirit stand up in God's strength and I Encourage you as you stand in faith pray and ask the Lord to be with you as you stand now let us pray Stand By Me Lord Jesus stand with me Lord I need you with me always I need

you close and always by my side I need the Fellowship of the Holy Spirit I need the companionship of the Holy Spirit Lord Jesus I need you in this life on my own I know that I am lost and I am Condemned but with you with you Lord I have a purpose my life has meaning my life has Direction because my steps they are ordered by you father on my own I am vulnerable I am confused and without a home however that changes when you are in my life when you are with me Lord I

am protected and my feet are on high ground when you are with me Jesus I have Clarity there is no Spirit of confusion That can cloud my mind my heart or my spirit when you are with me I have a home I have citizenship in heaven in fact I hold on to the promise that you spoke in John 14:3 you said and if I go and prepare a place for you I will come again and will take you to myself that where I am you may be also my need for you is great Lord Jesus

my need for you is clear I need you more than I need silver and gold or the Riches of this world I need you Jesus more than I need a new car a new house or more money Lord I cannot save myself I cannot heal or redeem myself I need you Lord Lord I Need you because I can't give myself eternal life nor can I overcome sin on my own it's you that I need Master Lord I have realized that in this life it is impossible to win it's Impossible to overcome or have Victory by

myself father there are strongholds that I cannot break there are problems that I can't overcome on my own Jesus I Need You I need the Good Shepherd I need one who can speak peace and Stillness into the storms of life Lord I need you to stand by me calm my emotions let my heart not be troubled father there are giants that I'm facing giant opposition which follow my family bloodline and Lord I can't fight them with My Own Strength I need divine intervention I need Supernatural strength to overcome so I pray father Hear My Cry

as I ask that you stand by me God be with me always because if I try and do things on my own if I try and live life with My Own Strength it simply won't work without your Grace everything is out of my reach father my prayer is that you would always be with me be with me as I face the storms of life be with me as I walk through the valley of the shadow of death Stand By Me in the fiery furnace Stand By Me When I can't see a way out when the

enemy comes at me like a flood raise up a standard Lord I pray that you would not allow the challenges that I face to overwhelm me Lord Jesus when problems appear to be Daunting give me Divine strength father your word says in John 24: 18-20 I will not leave you as orphans I will come to you yet a little while and the world will see me no more but you will see me because I live you also will live in that day you will know that I am in my father and you in me and

I in you I thank you Lord for such a promise you have promised never to leave us alone when the odds are against us we Will not fear for you are are with us whether I am in the Lion's Den or in the eye of a storm I trust and believe that you will always be faithful and Stand By Me Blessed Be Your Name King Jesus amen the Lord is my light and my salvation Whom Shall I Fear the Lord is the stronghold of my life of whom shall I be afraid when problems arise and

we find that our backs are against the wall the Word of God has to be a source of encouragement to us the word of God has to be that which ignites the fire in our faith it reinvigorates Our Hope and belief so that regardless of what you're facing despite the size of the enemy despite whatever is taking place in our lives we have a Divine and Heavenly insurance policy which is the word of God now I urge you to look at Luke 4 very Closely Jesus was in the wilderness and he was tempted by the

devil in Luke 4: 3-4 the Bible says and the devil said to him if you are the Son of God command this Stone to become bread but Jesus answered him saying it is written man shall not live by bread alone but by every word of God in verses 5-7 the devil continues his advances and offers Jesus the kingdoms of this world but in Luke 4:8 Here's how Jesus responds the Bible reads and Jesus answered and said to him get behind me Satan for it is written you shall Worship the Lord your God and him Only

You Shall Serve now the devil was audacious and he thought to try and tempt Jesus a third time in verse 9 he takes Jesus to Jerusalem and has him stand at the highest point of the temple saying if you are the Son of God throw yourself Down from here but once again Jesus responds in Luke chapter 4: 10 to1 saying for it is written he shall give his angels charge over you to keep you and in their hands they shall bear you up lest you dash your foot against a stone now I want you to

understand that the devil tempted Jesus three times and each time Jesus referred to the word of God the devil knocked three times and each time he was answered with the word Of God the devil offered riches he said if it's money that you want worship me if it's power that you want worship me Jesus was offered the kingdoms of This World by Satan but Jesus was content he was full of God's word three times Jesus responded by saying it is written and then proceeded to refer to the word of God now let me ask you

when the devil tempts you how will you respond what will you say when the devil knocks on the door of Your house and tries to convince you to let him in how will you respond do you have enough of God's word in you to resist do you have enough of God's word in you to fight we need to dwell and meditate on the word of God because it tells us all that we need to know about how to resist the devil how to defeat the Devil and how to be protected against the devil lord Jesus

you are Great and Mighty I pray that your word may be kept hidden in my heart may I live a life according to the principles and commands that are in your word I pray that the holy spirit will bring the word of God to life for for me may your word be ingrained in My Heart Lord should the devil try to tempt me let your word rise up within me and strengthen me should the devil try to lure me with riches with fame or with anything in this world help me to hold On to your

word help me to remember that your word in 1 Corinthians 10:13 says no temptation has overtaken you except such as is common to man but God is faithful who will not allow you to be tempted beyond what you are able but with the Temptation will also make the way of Escape that you may be able to Bear it lord it's in you that I find satisfaction if I hunger you are the the bread of life if I thirst I will come to You Jesus because I know that in you my heart will overflow with rivers

of Living Water keep me strong Lord Jesus help me to reject the advances of Satan help me to declare your word when I am confronted by evil I stand on your word that says in Isaiah 4 1:13 for I the Lord your God hold your right hand it is I who say to you fear not I am the one who helps You I thank you for such a promise I will not fear because my help comes from the Lord although the devil may work against me I trust you to help me although my enemy may

come against me I trust you to be my Defender Lord Jesus indeed a thousand may fall at my side and 10,000 at my right hand but it shall not come near me because I have Jesus Christ as my refuge Lord I stand on your word that says in Psalm 27:1 the Lord is my light and my salvation Whom Shall I Fear the Lord is the stronghold of my life of whom shall I be afraid although the struggles of life may come in all shapes and sizes you my Lord are a stronghold in the day of

trouble I am secured by your promises you are a God who has never lost a battle a God who has never been defeated nor can ever be defeated so whatever comes against me I Know that I have a strong and almighty God fighting for me father I pray and declare that I have Victory in Jesus I declare that I am more than a conqueror according to God's word I am covered by the blood of Jesus Christ be praised Master be glorified I thank you for hearing my prayer in the mighty name of Jesus Christ I

Pray amen one of my favorite verses in the Bible is in Job 13:15 where he says this about God though he slay me yet will I trust him even so I will defend my own ways before him think about what Measure of Faith what measure of assurance you need to have to be able to say the words though he slay me yet will I trust him those are fighting words those are strong Words no matter what comes no matter what happens to me I will trust in Jesus I pray afid to have faith like job

faith that stands in the face of total despair total loss and destruction but still say though he slay me yet will I trust him how I desire to reach that level of maturity as a Christian how I pray that when my season Of testing come comes Lord help me to plant my feet to square my shoulders roll up my sleeves and boldly confess though he slay me yet will I trust him I look at the story of job as a unique example of Faith Under Fire here he was wealthy and upright a man who had

everything going for him but the devil entered the picture job experienced some fairly Extreme conditions in chapter 1 and veres 13- 22 it gets pretty intense we're told about job's righteousness how there was none like him in all of the land he was a man of character and who feared God eventually Satan is allowed to test job and here enters a hardship like many of us will never experience first a messenger comes to Tell job that the seans attacked and stole all of his livestock and then killed his servants with them next before that servant

can finish another comes and tells him that fire fell from heaven and burned up all of his sheep and killed the servants with them then another comes to say to him that Raiders have stolen his camels and killed those servants and then the last straw a great Wind comes and causes the house to fall on all of his children and they are killed so here is a man who is considered righteous and God-fearing this was just a man with Integrity but in a few minutes he had his his entire world turned upside down just imagine

for a moment if you lost your job lost everything dear to you your life savings your home and from an Earthly perspective lost any hope for the Future at that moment there would be an understandable temptation to enter into a great depression and many have for lesser things but if you look at job's response in verse 20 and 21 it says at this job got up and tore his robe and shaved his head then he fell to the ground in worship and said naked I came from my mother's womb and naked I will depart the

lord gave and the Lord has taken away May the name of the Lord Be praised what an example of Faith through all of this job did not sin nor did he blame God and this kind of attitude and perspective this is the answer to Victory job recognized that God In His Infinite goodness has everything under control that somehow this is what was best he conceded that his life life is in God's hands he acknowledges that God gives and Sometimes takes away and chooses to worship god with a grateful heart job had the assurance that said

my life is in God's hands and it's that faith that belief that got him through that difficult time it got much worse for job for a season as he even lost his own health but in all of this horrific loss job never left God and turned elsewhere but here's what the Bible says about What became of job in the end job 42:12 says so the Lord blessed job in the second half of his life even more than in the beginning for now he had 14,000 sheep 6,000 camels 1,000 teams of oxen and 1,000 female donkeys

everything was restored to job more abundantly than what he had before he had remained faithful and could do so because he knew that God was in full control and would work things out for his good and God's glory that is our big Step to take that's the key for us too if you want to have victory of emotional trials we must focus on the fact that God is in control and have faith in that he will work things out for our good and His glory your life is in God's hands a few more thoughts on

this job was understandably driven to a very dark place and many of us can relate we've been there we've all been at at a point where our faith is Tried we've all been to a place that has left us in some kind of distress a place where you feel as though this is completely rock bottom and job felt as if life had no meaning he felt as though life was not worth living anymore even his friends judged and condemned him by implying that he was not a Godly Man and that he deserved what happened to

him even his wife told him that he Should just Curse God and die talk about feeling truly alone but I admire job for ignoring those around him I admire job for taking a stance of saying though he slay me yet will I trust him something many of us need to start practice practicing job didn't listen to any naysayers or the discouragers nor did he take their advice he remained strong in faith although he was feeling down and despair And depressed he remained strong in faith although he had so many questions for God although he fully

didn't understand why God had allowed all this to happen to him job still feared the Lord job still trusted in the Lord now will you have the same approach will you have the same stance as job will you remain strong and firm in faith when your faith is under Fire now let us pray father you you alone are worthy of my adoration each and every day Lord Jesus you are ever faithful you are my Hiding Place at this present time I ask for your protection and covering over my life and over my family's life so

Lord help me to guard my heart help me to fill my heart with your word help me to be vigilant against every Force of evil and every cunning lie of man help me to be in the world but not of it help me to be in this world but not to love it Empower me to be a strong Godly influence in this world rather than for me to be influenced by this world help me to be salt in this earth help me to be a light in the darkness guiding my friends and my family and

neighbors and strangers alike to the Glorious cross your word calls me in Philippians 4:8 to say finally Brothers Whatever is true whatever is Honorable whatever is just whatever is pure whatever is lovely whatever is commendable if there is any Excellence if there is anything worthy of Praise think about these things Lord I pray that I would not be a sponge that absorbs all the filth of this world no instead let me be like a mirror reflecting your goodness for all to see let me be like a mirror that reflects Your love Lord like David wrote

in the Psalms create in me a clean heart renew in me a right spirit I know that such a heart is pleasing to you more than sacrifices or good works you desire a heart that is broken over sin and one that humbly seeks your forgiveness I pray that the Holy Spirit would continuously be tugging at my heart and soul teaching me how to be obedient to the Lord teaching me how to stand in faith and to fully trust in God give me a passion to Seek You Lord give me a passion to hunt for your

presence the last thought in my mind before I sleep should be you and let my first thoughts each and every morning be you I submit to you and align my spirit to your will and purpose for my life open my ears so that they will be sensitive and receptive to your voice Lord I pray that your word would not depart from my mouth but instead I will read and meditate on it day and night so That I may be careful to do everything in accordance to your Will May the Holy Spirit help me to keep

seeking things that are above where Christ is seated at the right hand of God help me Holy Spirit to set my mind above and to keep focused on everything related to the kingdom of God help me not to conform to the things of this world help me not to be distracted by things that are on the earth which only have temporal Value and for me to even do this Lord I need your Supernatural strength and so I declare that you Lord Jesus you are my source of strength that leads me to overcome the devil you

Lord Jesus are my source of strength that leads me to walk in Victory you are my source of strength that leads me to defeat sin you have said in your word that in the last days you will pour out your spirit on All Flesh and so I welcome you Holy Spirit I invite your presence to encamp around me and to fill me help me to realize the promises of God promises for peace that surpass human understanding Promises of a sound mind Promises of protection I pray that you would move with me Holy Spirit walk with

me and speak to me be the still Small Voice that guides me and leads me I praise your Holy Name King Jesus be glorified I thank you for hearing my prayer in the mighty name of Jesus Christ I pray [Music] amen there have been seasons in my life where I've been up against it there have been Seasons where I've been in the middle of a rock in a hard place and you know in these moments underneath that that that crushing feeling I've looked At my pain I've looked at my circumstances I've looked at everything falling

apart and I have asked the question Lord why me are you really stealing control of my life because I'm in a freef fall and if you if you've ever read the story of Paul and Silas in the book of Acts the Bible says says they were stripped and beaten with rods and after they had been severely flogged they were thrown into prison and placed in Chains Hand and feet so I imagine that they too must have felt like their entire world was falling apart they must have looked at their circumstances and at their situation and

ask the question is God still in control is God still in control of our lives and I wonder did the pain become too much for their bodies to bear I can only imagine how uncomfortable it must have been to be Chained hands and feet did they even for just a moment ever doubt because I'll be honest I have and if you have ever felt these emotions if if you've ever wavered for a moment if you ever wrestled with doubt I want you to know that it's important to remember that faith and present circumstances don't always

go hand inand you can have faith in God but still find yourself going through hard times you can have faith in the Lord but Your circumstances may still be challenging faith and present circumstances don't always go hand in hand Paul and Silas had Faith but they were beaten and cast in Chains Paul and Silas had Faith but if you looked just at their circumstances it would appear as though they were abandoned it would appear as though they were forsaken just the environment they were in would lead you to believe that God no Longer had his

hand over their lives but that's the beauty of God the Lord is faithful regardless of our circumstances sometimes tough situations come around to serve a purpose that purpose could be to remind you that God can make a way where there seems to be no way that purpose could be to glorify God that purpose could be for the Lord to demonstrate his healing power So be encouraged your situation will serve a purpose Paul and Silas had no hope of Escape they were too badly beaten they were chained they were in prison and surrounded by guards there

was no hope of escaping but their situation served a purpose if it were not for the chains would Paul and Silas have known that God is a chain breaker if it were not for them being Confined to a prison would Paul and Silas have known that God can break every stronghold if it were not for their circumstances would Paul and Silas have known that the Lord is a way maker and that's what we need to learn this season you're in will serve a purpose your present circumstances will serve a purpose where there looks to be

no way Out maybe you're bound or chained in some area of your life God Will Make A Way if you keep your faith in him and regardless of how it looks right now don't let present circumstances overpower your faith Paul in second Corinthians 1:5 said for as we share abundantly in Christ's sufferings so through Christ we share abundantly in Comfort too if we are afflicted it is for your comfort and salvation and if we are comforted it is For your comfort which you experience when you patiently endure the same sufferings that we suffer Our Hope

for you is unshaken for we know that as you share in our sufferings you will also share in our comfort for we do not want to be unaware Brothers of the Affliction we experienced in Asia for we were so utterly burdened beyond our strength that we despaired of life itself indeed we felt that we had Received the sentence of death but that was to make us rely not on ourselves but on God who raises the dead he delivered us from such a deadly Peril and he will Deliver Us on him we have set our hope

that he will deliver us again while in Asia Paul states that he had experienced Affliction he experienced severe trials and he says he was burdened beyond strength so much so that he spared of life itself he said It felt as though he had Received a death sentence can you imagine that can you imagine going through hardships that make you feel as though you have a death sentence written against your name can you imagine being burdened by problems this is how Paul felt but if you pay attention to what he says in verse 9 Paul says

indeed we felt that we had received the sentence of death but that was to make us rely not on ourselves but on God who raises the Dead He's essentially saying these Difficult times these tough times have taught us to lose all faith in ourselves and to place all of our trust in The God Who raises the Dead all of us go through tough times all of us go through Seasons where it seems as though the odds are stacked against us and pain becomes a feeling we're all too acquainted with in Psalms 119:71 David said it

brothers and sisters be steadfast immovable always excelling in the work of the lord always doing your best and doing more than is needed being continually aware that your labor even to the point of exhaustion in the Lord is not feudal nor wasted it is never without purpose there must come a time when you as a Believer must decide I will stand strong and follow the word of God regardless of what I Will have to give up and who I will have to let go of there comes a time when you have to decide I will

stand and do The Godly thing I will forgive even when it's hard to do even when I've been hurt there will come a time when you will have to decide to stand in faith even when you can't see a way out of the situation that you're in now today you may be under attack in Some area of your life you have tried everything to resolve it but nothing is working nothing is changing dear friend this is the time you ought to take a stand and believe believe in the power of the blood of Jesus it

will break you out of that bondage believe in the power that's in the blood of Jesus Christ it can set you free it can give you Victory and it can loose you from any evil Hold it's time to take a stand with the word of God against the forces of evil stand firm stand in confidence stand in righteousness Psalm 56:3 says when I am afraid I put my trust in you in God whose word I Praise In God I trust I shall not be afraid what can flesh do to me we need to be men

and women who put their trust in the Lord and mind you you will only ever be able to stand firm when your trust is secured In the Lord so if you feel stuck if you feel under attack remember that the Bible says in Psalm 31 verse 24 be strong and Let Your Heart Take courage all you who wait for the Lord be strong Saints and stand in faith as you do this the Lord is sure to rescue you and so as children of God I believe I believe that it's time to stand stand up and

lift High his Royal Banner you are an ambassador of the most High stand up to the lies of the enemy stand up with the truth of the Gospel stand up with with the strength of the Holy Spirit stand up in God's strength and I encourage you as you stand in faith pray and ask the Lord to be with you as you stand now let us pray Stand By Me Lord Jesus stand with me Lord I need you with me always I need you close and always always by my Side I need the Fellowship of the

Holy Spirit I need the companionship of the Holy Spirit Lord Jesus I need you in this life on my own I know that I am lost and I am condemned but with you with you Lord I have a purpose my life has meaning my life has Direction because my steps they are ordered by you father on my own I am vulnerable I am confused and without a Home however that changes when you are in my life when you are with me Lord I am protected and my feet are on high ground when you are with

me Jesus I have clarity there is no Spirit of confusion that can cloud my mind my heart or my spirit when you are with me I have a home I have citizenship in heaven in fact I hold on to the promise that you spoke in John 14:3 you said and if I go and prepare a place for you I will come again and will Take you to myself that where I am you may be also my need for you is great Lord Jesus my need for you is clear I need you more than I need

silver and gold or the riches of this world I need you Jesus more than I need a new car a new house or more money Lord I cannot save myself I cannot heal or redeem myself I need need you Lord Lord I need you because I can't Give myself eternal life nor can I overcome sin on my own it's you that I need Master Lord I have realized that in this life it is impossible to win it's impossible to overcome or have Victory by myself father there are strongholds that I cannot break there are problems

that I can't overcome on my own Jesus I Need You I need the Good Shepherd I need one who can speak peace and Stillness into The storms of life Lord I need you to stand by me calm my emotions let my heart not be troubled father there are giants that I'm facing giant oppositions which follow my family bloodline and Lord I can't fight them with My Own Strength I need divine intervention I need Supernatural strength to overcome so I pray father Hear My Cry as I ask that you stand by me God be with Me

always because if I try and do things on my own if I try and live life with My Own Strength it simply won't work without your grace everything is out of my reach father my prayer is that you would always be with me be with me as I face the storms of life be with me as I walk through the valley of the shadow of death Stand By Me in the fiery furnace Stand By Me when I can't see a way out when the enemy comes at me like a flood Raise up a standard Lord

I pray that you would not allow the challenges that I face to overwhelm me Lord Jesus when problems appear to be daunting give me Divine strength father your word says in John 24: 18-2 I will not leave you as orphan I will come to you yet a little while and the world will see me no more but you will see me because I live you also will live in that day you will know that I am in my father and you in me and I in you I thank you Lord for such a promise you

have promised never to leave us alone when the odds are against us we will not fear for you are with us whether I am in the Lion's Den or in the eye of a storm I trust and believe that you will always be faithful and Stand By Me Blessed Be Your Name King Jesus amen the Lord is my light and my salvation Whom Shall I Fear the Lord is The stronghold of my life of whom shall I be afraid when problems arise and we find that our backs are against the wall the word of God

has to be a source of encouragement to us the word of God has to be that which ignites the fire in our faith it reinvigorates Our Hope and belief so that regardless of what you facing despite the size of the enemy despite whatever is taking place in our lives we Have a Divine and Heavenly insurance policy which is the word of God now I urge you to look at Luke 4 very closely Jesus was in the wilderness and he was tempted by the devil in Luke 4 vers 3- 4 the Bible says and the devil

said to him if you are the Son of God command this Stone to become bread but Jesus answered him saying it is written man shall not live by bread alone but by every word of God in verses 5 to7 the devil continues his advances and offers Jesus the kingdoms of this world but in Luke 4:8 here's how Jesus responds the Bible reads and Jesus answered and said to him get behind me Satan for it is written you shall Worship the Lord your God and him Only You Shall Serve now the devil was audacious and he

thought to try and tempt Jesus a third Time in verse 9 he takes Jesus to Jerusalem and has him stand at the highest point of the temple saying if you are the Son of God throw yourself down from here but once again Jesus responds in Luke 4: 10-1 saying for it is written he shall give his angels charge over you to keep you and in their hands they shall bear you up lest you dash your foot against a Stone now I want you to understand that the devil tempted Jesus three times and each time Jesus

referred to the word of God the devil knocked three times and each time he was answered with the word of God the devil offered riches he said if it's money money that you want worship me if it's power that you want worship me Jesus was offered the kingdoms of This World by Satan but Jesus was content he was full of God's word three times Jesus responded by Saying it is written and then proceeded to refer to the word of God now let me ask you when the devil tempts you how will you respond what will

you say when the devil knocks on the door of your house and tries to convince you to let him in how will you respond do you have enough of God's word in you to resist do you have enough of God's word in you to Fight we need to dwell and meditate on the word of God because it tells us all that we need to know about how to resist the devil how to defeat the Devil and how to be protected against the devil lord Jesus you are Great and Mighty I pray that your word may

be kept hidden in my heart may I live a life according to the principles and commands that are in your word I pray that the Holy Spirit will bring the word of God to Life For Me may Your word be ingrained in My Heart Lord should the devil try to tempt me let your word rise up within me and strengthen me should the devil try to lure me with riches with fame or with anything in this world help me to hold on to your word help me to remember that your word in first Corinthians 10:

13 says no temptation has overtaken you except such as is common to man but God is faithful who will not allow you to be tempted beyond what you are able but With the Temptation will also make the way of Escape that you may be able to Bear it lord it's in you that I find satisfaction if I hunger you are the bread of life if I thirst I will come to you Jesus because I know that in you my heart will overflow with rivers of Living Water keep me strong Lord Jesus help me to reject

the advances of Satan help me to declare your word when I am confronted by evil I stand on your your word that says in Isaiah [Music] 41:13 for I the Lord your God hold your right hand it is I who say to you fear not I am the one who helps you I thank you for such a promise I will not fear because my help comes from the Lord although the devil may work against me I trust you to help me although my enemies may come against Me I trust you to be my Defender Lord

Jesus indeed a thousand may fall at my side and 10,000 at my right hand but it shall not come near me because I have Jesus Christ as my refuge Lord I stand on your word that says in Psalm 27:1 the Lord is my light and my salvation Whom Shall I Fear the Lord is the stronghold of my life of whom shall I be afraid although the struggles of life May come in all shapes and sizes you my Lord are a stronghold in the day of trouble I am secured by your promises you are a God

who has never lost a battle a God who has never been defeated nor can ever be defeated so whatever comes against me I know that I have a strong and almighty God fighting for me father I pray and declare that I have Victory in Jesus I declare that I am more than a conqueror according to God's word I am covered by by the blood of Jesus Christ be praised Master be glorified I thank you for hearing my prayer in the mighty name of Jesus Christ I pray amen
