not a sinner like we are he was not saved by faith as we were he was not separated from God as we were because of sin so Jesus is in another category and we must focus on what Jesus taught and what his word teaches us about sex within marriage in the first book of the Bible the Book of Genesis we see that God created man and woman as sexual beings and that is not a sin he created our bodies with genital organs to have sexual relations and reproduce when the relationship occurs between a man and
a woman they complete each other and become one flesh and in the book of First Corinthians chapter 7 the Apostle Paul t talks a lot about marriage and sexuality Paul says for example that the married man should not dedicate himself only to God's work but should also take care of worldly things to please his wife he also advises that the husband and wife should not go long without sexual relations unless they are fasting but this pause in sex should not last long because Satan can take advantage of this to tempt the couple and make them
fall into temptation Brothers we need to understand that the lack of of sex can indeed generate abstinence the body begins to feel a lack and when that happens the person becomes more vulnerable to acting according to their carnal instincts I'm not saying that you have to act according to these instincts but it is something that can happen and the devil knows this very well this explains why many people make wrong decisions by acting impulsively and later deeply regret it therefore before talking about the four types of prohibited sex in marriage I want to reflect with

whoever loves their spouse will never feel attraction for someone else but as I just said the human being is fallible and God's word itself affirms that our flesh is weak therefore Brothers we need to watch because the truth is that what the eyes covet the imagination goes far and if the person does not cut those thoughts they may one day fall into temptation look at what is written in James chapter 1 but each one is tempted when by their own evil desire they are dragged away and enticed then after desire has conceived it gives birth
to sin and sin when it is full grown gives birth to death look at that Brothers while we are in this carnal body we can feel attracted to someone of the opposite sex we can be Charmed by a smile a beautiful body a voice a look a personality and if that were not enough our carnal weakness we are targets of a bombardment of the media and culture that promotes infidelity sex outside of marriage the woman as a sexual object the image of the Conquering man and so on and then you add all that with a
bit of pornography with in attention in marriage and we begin to understand more why many people cheat even loving someone else I want to read to you another ver in First Peter chapter 5 be alert and of sober mind your enemy the devil prows around like a roaring lion looking for someone to devour look at that Brothers Satan is always alert ready to catch those who do not seek God and only want the pleasures that the world offers and I told you all these things because we need to put aside any kind of Illusion to
Face Reality to face the truth amen therefore you who are a husband or wife know that you are a human being and therefore you have the inclination to do what is wrong your flesh desires to do what is forbidden and if you do not close the doors to sin you may fall into that Temptation and betray your spouse but does that mean that everyone is doomed to cheat not at all brothers that is where we must learn a very important lesson whoever loves God and their spouse flees from the appearance of evil and does not

relationship with a third person with the consent of both some people try to defend their desire for threesoms by saying that Jacob was married to two sisters Leah and Rachel but nowhere does the bible say that he slept with both women simultaneously we see that polygamy the fact that a person marries several women was allowed in the time of the nation of Israel but was never God's perfect will he never approved polygamy in the New Testament we see that a man must be the husband of one wife and Jesus himself spoke about this look at
what he said in Matthew chapter 19 haven't you read that at the beginning the Creator made them male and female and said for this reason a man will leave his father and mother and be United to his wife and the two will become one flesh so they are no longer two but one flesh therefore what God has joined together let no one separate see Brothers Jesus spoke of one man and one woman in marriage that is God's will meaning there is no room for another person in a heterosexual marriage the third type of sex that
God forbids in his word is abuse we grow up with the idea that abuse only occurs when a criminal uses physical Force to have relations with another person without their consent but that is not true there is also abuse within marriage which is when one spouse forces the other to have sex without their consent Those who commit this kind of sin use that passage from 1 Corinthians chapter 7 incorrectly to justify their mistake look at what it says the wife does not have authority over her own body but yields it to her husband in the
same way the husband does not have authority over his own body but yields it to his wife and then Brothers what happens is that they take this verse out of context and many men believe that their wife's body belongs only to them thinking they have the right to demand sex and force them to do something they do not want but what the Bible is saying is that we should satisfy our spouse and not seek only our own pleasure okay the fourth type of sex that God forbids is pornography although it is not a sexual act
in itself these other types of prohibited sex are usually stimulated by pornography many Christian couples say they watch pornographic movies before and during sexual relations to spice up the relationship but no matter how much both like it pornography can be very dangerous because when a person watches a movie or any other type of pornographic material they may be opening doors for the enemy to destroy the relationship the Bible says that we should keep Purity in marriage look at what the Bible says marriage should be honored by all and the marriage bed kept pure for God
will judge the adulterer and all the sexually immoral and you may be asking but Pastor what about oral sex and the use of sex toys well Brothers although the Bible does not give a definitive answer you should analyze if both agree because if you do not feel comfortable doing something then the right thing is not to do it the most important thing is to honor God and respect your spouse and you should analyze if it will do you good if it will bring you closer to each other or if it will drive you apart all
