Is for your own personal growth um but just to reiterate the values are who make what what makes you you uh do you have a value for fun do you have a value for learning do you have a value for uh for order for structure for Freedom whatever those things are that's what makes you you but the basic without getting into a whole teaching the reason why this is so fundamentally important is when we know who we are and we know Who each other is and we go out of our way to honor the values

in somebody else then our team becomes stronger in unity the whole point of this is you can't correct a person's behavior and not look at what value is Dishonored at the base of that everything that we behave whether it's good or it's not great has to do with values because your values are the foundation of who you are who did Jesus make me to be and on top of that comes your belief system so all of Your belief Bel systems all everything you have about Jesus about the world your worldview comes out of your values

and we like to say we just we own every Christian value there is and that is true we believe those values but there are core values that make you who you are bottom line is we want behavior that comes out of a place of honor and on mission trips every button you have will be pushed every exhaustion every fear every insecurity every jealousy Comparison uh every bit of you got to be kidding me uh those kinds of attitudes that ugly stuff comes up when we are not feeling honored when we are not the best version

of ourselves so Agape when you joined if you're brand new or if you've been here a while we're built on the foundation that God loves us and we love other people the way he loves us right and our mission is based on you know this if you've been with us Matthew 10:7 and8 freely the lord gave us everything And freely we give it away we're uh not designed as a Ministry where people just come on trips with us because we are a family on a mission so I'm going to blaze through this in five minutes

and turn it over to Kylie the vision the mission the beliefs and the behavior the mission our mission States the reason for the ministry why do we exist why does agape exist the mission from our website it says that we exist to set captives free through the ministry of Healing and evangelism through the name of Jesus Christ agapy Freedom Fighters training equips individuals the church local teams with theologically based practical ways to minister and live a lifestyle that transforms our communities and impacts all spheres of cultural influence around the world as Agape Freedom Fighters moves

as a team we must all share the same values beliefs and heart we are not able to Simply take people on mission trips with Us we our family and travel together as a family on a dream so Kylie's got the the 21 values that make up Agape in the next slide and we don't need to go over all of those but I will tell you that when you are on a mission trip with us or you're on a call like this or with any type of learning that we're doing these values are going to be

highlighted because that is what this Mission organization is that's who its leaders are and although we're not looking for You to be exactly like us nobody is exactly like another person we're looking for these values to be honored while we are working together in the mission of Agape Freedom Fighters so just to understand that mission is our reason for the ministry the values Are Who We Are our identity as a kingdom team but the mission is based on our overall vision and our vision shapes our identity and determines our Direction so our vision is the

grand scheme we had a Vision when we started a goape to reach 55 Nations for the gospel uh we are close to that even now I believe God will highly surpass that so overall we want to make sure that those values that we hold together are are honored on the mission trip and that we have a purpose and an intention to achieve the ministry mission for the glory of God so we don't want to ever manage people's behavior on a trip or off a trip we want to get to the bottom of why that behavior

exists In the first place it's a moment when you feel celebrated and highlight what was going on there because every moment that we're together is a learning moment for us to grow in maturity with Jesus we have one of the most unified teams around uh and everybody that we go to serve tells me that I know that because I know you you come with your hearts wide open you come to serve and it's the most beautiful thing but as things grow and change and morph over these next few Years we want to make sure that

we are moving in the same direction uh as you're doing local Ministry and and birthing your own Ministries we still want to make sure that we are called to go together in unity amen all right Kylie you need me to run over anything else no you're fantastic that was great there you go we're all missioned up um we're just gonna there's a few of our team um that's just going to speak Through this so you don't get bored just hearing me chat the whole time even though I know I'm entertaining um we want um different

voices so you can um yeah just see a piece of everyone's heart and so we're going to just roll into um Team skills and kath is going to take that on um we're like Joe said um so much of this might be a recap for you but um my desire to have this presentation is just so we can um soak it up even more um and so it will just Come out of us with ease and then also so many of us disciple and um lead others and so just being able to um grow and

be reminded of all these great things um just helps us so cath you're up fabulous Hi family so I'm just gonna go through these real quick and I'm not actually gonna talk about each one of them some of them are obvious and they like Kylie said they're just something that keeps us in check with where we are when we're running with our with our Family if we could go back to that slide before um it says be a person of faith this is our very first one our be a person of faith I love I

love there it says no blatant in I think that's probably a little bit obvious that uh if we are a person of faith and we're walking and step with the Lord we're also when we're together as a family I mean think about it the whole ship is moving together in unity and we are all it's like a uh if you've been on a trip It is like an Inferno of faith when we all come together and we're living from that place with those team skills love well I love that that that takes nothing more to

explain other than loving well it's what we are it's in the name Agape listen to humility is see I love that I just want to I just want to encourage you that humility is it's not my um strong suit it really never has been um I think I am smart and so I had to learn how to be dependent on the Holy Spirit And uh he was very patient with me and it's still patient with me a couple of things that I have learned from me personally is I am always asking the Holy Spirit to

teach me to guide me to correct me and I heard recently and I thought oh my goodness this is so good that when I have my dependence on the Holy Spirit and when I'm asking him will you teach me is there something place that I've been out of line um have I Dishonored other people who are around Me have I loved them how you would love them uh when I go to him and have him correct me then he doesn't have to bring other people into my midst and my sphere to also correct me because

I haven't been listening to him so I just recently heard that and I thought oh my goodness that is for me that my dependency on the Holy Spirit that is humility that's where we have to come in and we have to let him lead us and guide us uh and then D communicate clearly and effectively You know that's what teams do that's what mature people do and maturing into spiritual fathers and mothers is one of our values and then e if we just keep going in through this um it's participate I love that all of

you if you've been with Joe on a trip you know this is how we function you have to be ready which means um that when we are on a trip that we're not sitting in the front row on our phones or doing other things but we are there involved we're Ready uh because you never know when you're going to get called on to come up to prophesy to pray and if you don't participate with what's happening in the room then you will be caught off guard your heart will go up your blood pressure will go

up and um and then we'll have to pray for you to be healed so participate um I would put in parenthesis right there that you would risk that you would be willing to risk and that risking never goes away I look At the disciples life and they never they never got to punt on the risk and so they continued to risk and that's how our team moves together um I love that there's no jealousy or competition just a I'm G to give you a nugget this is a gold nugget and this is for free that

whenever you see somebody on our team um whether it's a leader or a team lead or another partner if you see that they are moving in something that you're not moving in you have two opportunities Right there you have the opportunity to rise up and be jealous and and be competitive with them or the better option which I suggest you choose is you go to them and you ask them hey I'm not walking in that would you be willing to pray for me and release that to me that's part of a family and that's how

a family moves and that's part of what I love and uh we all get to share with each other that's what a good family does be flexible if you've ever heard Joe talk on sway it is it is being flexible there are things that change last minute there are um inconveniences I love um I love a blueprint and I love a road map and I love to stick to it because then I'm in my comfort zone and uh but here's the reality when we travel it doesn't happen like that and I think that the Lord

um whenever for me personally whenever things don't go how I thought that they were going to go It's an opportunity for me to release the fruit of the spirit and see if I actually what percentage of the fruit of the spirit I carry hopefully I am 100% all of the time but you know when we get squeezed whatever's in US comes out and so we really need if you put in your mindset already when we're going on trips that hey we need to be flexible it's really important and then um f cooperate well that's pretty

self-explanatory and then lead well I Love this part honor honor leaders um whenever we are whenever we are in a group um if you see something that needs to be done that you would do something about it that you wouldn't sit back and wait and wonder is somebody else going to do that and if you're unsure that you would talk to whoever you're around I think that um we're all called to lead and and it looks different for everyone but it's really important when we lead well that means that we are all in Engaged in

in what is happening and it's part of our each one of these team skills you can actually point right back to our values I think that's it it is but why it's so we don't drive Mama Joe crazy which is why this is the photo I chose um so often do we not see this face come out of um Joe when we are not following any of these team skills and values and so um we do it because we we truly desire Unity um and what Joe Shared about who our team is and how we

move in spaces it's because we take these values um and these skills so seriously and it just like oozes out of us and so our desire is that at any moment on any trip we become even more tighten it um that Unity just arises in us um in Greater measures and so um year after year when we go back to similar spaces people are just still in awe of how we honor each other and move as one together and just honor what God is Doing and if we're not in a position where we can walk

out these values then how are we even going to engage what the Lord is doing in the room and we're not going to be able to see what he's doing we're not going to be able to honor him or honor our leader or honor um our team member next to us and so um I did this as I was building this I went through each one and I just asked the Lord like in what area in what space is this actually not fruitful in my life um Because if we're going to talk about this and

desire our team to walk in the fullness of all of these things um how do we know if we are are walking these out so I just encourage you guys um to go back afterwards and read through each one with the Holy Spirit and ask the Lord like in what area can this increase in my life what area can can um I grow in this and so um we will see a greater Unity we'll see greater honoring and then through there we're going to see Greater outpourings of the Lord because we're gonna be just completely

empty vessels for the Lord um can I give one example to to the team yes I think it was Heather that said this to me on a trip uh recently um I think I think it was you Heather that we we started out we were actually partnering with some other people to do impartation and if you've been on any trips with us before I've always said hey hey wait wait wait wait until the presence of the Lord is At such a level and then we all move out together because the power of unity based on

scripture it is incredible when you partner with the holy spirit with a unified team the magnitude of the presence of God is exponentially increased and what happened in this particular moment of time we the the team was looking all at each other like we we can feel we can sense we can we can just totally know the presence of God is about to increase and the other Leader that we were with did not look at any of us because he's used to Flying Solo and he stepped out ahead of our team and just began laying

hands on people and the presence of God never got any deeper never got any thicker and afterwards uh it was you right Heather that said to me boy that just jacked everything everything up she was nicer than saying it that way but she said that just that just messed everything up and I said yeah because he was thinking Of something else he stepped out and didn't use the power of unity in a team and I'll tell you that's an perfect example of what collie's talking about if you're not looking at God first and then looking

down the row at the team okay what are we doing when I give directions or Kathy does if she's leading or or who whoever is leading on our team and they say hey we're not prophesying right now we're doing impartation and you stop at the very First person you start prophesying because you're a strong prophetic person and you don't do impartation you've left the whole team to deal with the whole room while you prophesy over three people now if you want to prophesy over people you do it when the whole thing's over or when it's

time to prophesy but if you do what you're doing and not what we're doing we've diluted the presence and the power of God God as a unified team so that's just a really good Example and I thought when Heather brought that up I thought that is exactly the truth and she saw the demonstration of the difference of that okay go ahead Kai it's perfect it's great um signal chat we love it we're on it hopefully you're on it you're on it because you're on the zoom call so um we just want to revamp what signal

can be and should be for our team and it's it's it's a great way to communicate um we want to be able to communicate um Anything that's happening with our team what's coming up um different opportunities for you um we also want you to be able to communicate through um signal when it comes to um all of our events our trips that we're going on um signal will be the main communication and I would love to streamline um all of our questions all of our um needs when we're on trips through signal instead of um

direct messaging or um any side comments because usually what you're Asking the trip leader the entire team also needs to know um or you wouldn't realize that you're not alone in the question um and so just being able to be on top of it and regularly checking it um we need to get so much better at regularly checking and communicating through signal because so much information's pumped through signal and um you might miss really great things that are going on or you might miss information that is um super important For what's happening maybe in the

moment and so just every once in a while when you're on a trip just making sure that you're engaging that chat and because your trip leader or Joe or whoever is leading might be um changing our schedule because we're flexible people and things change um we want to make sure that we are paying attention to what's being communicated um signal also is for connection we want to be able to connect as as a team we want to be able To not just have it be um just direct information while we're on a trip in those

specific trip chats like we have an OKC one for our trip coming up like that should be a space where we can share excitement for the trip share prayer requests um engage each other um before the trip and then while we're on the trip um it doesn't just have to be a space for just information early on um I'd love for it to be a communic a space where we Communicate and commune um before we even jump onto a trip and then contribute don't just be the person that watches Zoom from a distance we would

love to know that you read our messages just like it um Kirk has grown in this Kirk used to never say anything and now he gives me blue hearts and he says I see it I know now I know that I read it um because I have no clue if you guys are getting this information or not if you're not contributing to the chat if You're not liking it that's all I mean just say that you've seen it um and so then I know that you're going to be in the space on time you're going

to show up um the trip leader doesn't have to hunt you down um it it's just easier if you contribute to the chat and not just watch it from a distance um so I'm going to jump uh this over to Heather she's going to just reset and remind us what each chat is for because there's so many that we're all in and sometimes we can Cross over information or put things in chats where they should be in another chat and so we just need a reminder and he's gonna give it to us hey okay so

if you forget can you guys see me can you hear me yes okay so if you forget what the signal chat is for if you go into the specific chat for signal and you click on the name like the general qu the general chat you're going to see what it's for in the very top and That's going to remind you if you're just like there's too many things to choose from go click on the name of it so that you know exactly what it is that you're supposed to post in there so for general information

this is for General conversations General prayer requests for yourself or family not really related to missions you can share testimonies you you went and ministered and it was awesome we want to hear about that and that would belong in general Information AFF Mission Prayer if you could reserve that only for the specific trip that's going on at the time because we want to make sure that the team is covered we want to make sure that we know what's going on during that trip testimonies and pictures but please keep that limited to agape's specific mission that

is happening at that time the admin one does not get used a whole lot but that's where you're going to see a lot of the zoom links um logistical Information admin information if we have T-shirts that will be there that one you might not use a whole lot but please do check it celebrations we all know what those are for those are for our awesome birthdays and celebrations those we love sharing especially for the birthdays just supporting our team and showing them our love and then the AFF intercessors that is where you can post your

your prayer requests um and they can be related to The mission sometimes we post hey the team needs prayer for this in the intercessory chat please don't post the same thing in a bunch of chats because then that that makes it block up if you could post it in one of them and then people know to check that for that certain type of information I think that's all I've got for signal good all right the fun stuff our trips so this is where some stuff might Be a little more new um because we are trying

to update and keep things um fresh and new for you guys so um you will see now when you click on to our itinerary um some different visuals to help us figure out what trips we should go on pray for um and be a part of and so um when we are looking at the General Schedule um we just love for you guys to um start praying into this coming year 2025 is um up and you can start looking at those trips and just being pray just Super prayerful about what maybe um trip you want

to go on and the Lord is calling you to um Heather and I are working very hard on making things as seamless and easy for you guys when it comes to registration and um what it looks like to put out our trip fees and all the information and so if you guys start registering earlier in the year we're going to be able to plan more efficiently and be able to get everyone set and ready on trips um Earlier and so you guys can have information earlier um and yes so each section will share pay attention

to the spots on our calendar that say when registration opens and when it ends we're going to clamp down a little harder on when registration is done just because we do want to honor everyone who has planned ahead and has gotten um their information to us and that that helps also on my end with booking of hotel rooms and um who's Getting placed in what room together because I pray through all of that on who should be um in each space and if you're jumping on at last minute um you've affected our trip fees that

we've already sent out and now I'm re emailing or um signaling people different trip fees and sweet Heather um is a blessing because she is our numbers gal and you are just making it hard for her and so let's just pay attention to the dates for opening and then the dates when They're closed um and then also on that pay attention to the entire trip schedule um if you're looking at a trip and you see that um you can go to half of you got to go to the whole trip so that's maybe not the

trip for you so when you look at the dates for registering from let's say like on here we have a um November trip to the UK um we're expecting that you fly in 90 minutes before Joe around Joe and then That's when you also leave um 90 minutes around Joe and so that you would be on the trip from the 9th to the 20th um this is also makes things seamless for our team it also Keeps Us unified um the Lord is moving and impartations happen and um there's pieces of the trip that if you're

only on half of it maybe you come in a couple days late you've missed all that's happened in the first couple days and the Lord has done things on our on Our on our team we've bonded in different ways um we we kind of have seen an overarching of what God has been doing there is anticipation and momentum and um to catch you we really can't catch somebody up you can't catch up um when you missed what the Lord did and so um we just want everyone to um be on the entire trip for many

amazing reasons and one of them highest one is the unity and just honoring even the leaders that are leading and sweet um Heather who is Working out um everybody's Tres and everything and so easiest your on the whole trip you get the most fun for the whole time um so just pay attention to that to the dates and be aware of that um so instructions um we have the login some of us forget um it is on our manual and so when you maybe haven't gone on a trip in a long time and you're like

all right this is my year I'm going on some trips um don't DM me it's in our manual um you Can find the password on the uh it's right here screenshot it if you need it um and then you're going to see different um forms you're going to see our itinerary document which is where all the trips are at you're going to see the registration form you're going to see um the trip statistics form trip evaluation forms um there's just a lot of things in there for you guys and we would love for you to

just go in there and find the documents um and fill them Out in a timely manner and this is also so important at the end of trips uh we will in the signal chat put in our statistics form our our evaluation form um but if you miss that or you want to do it early and it hasn't been posted in the chat yet this is where you can find it um the Lord is moving in crazy ways right now and we we do want to document it and have every um every move of God that

we can possibly remember because sometimes we forget on these trips And it is to collect data um data is so important so we can watch the way the Lord is moving and um also just celebrate all that he's done and this just helps us um understand how God's moving where he's moving what he's doing um and what he's doing through all of us um I enjoy at the end of each trip seeing all of the different statistics come in because usually we're ministering with maybe one other team member and we're kind of in our Zone

but Then to see what he did across the board is so miraculous every single time I'm like what do you mean that's how many prophetic words You released so it's fun to see it um it's also just such um an important thing for us to C to capture um and so I would love for it to be um a value um for us to just start capturing and remembering these things and that you will naturally um start putting those statistics in on your own without Four or five reminders I love you all but let's get

it in the first time um because it is important we really do want to capture these things um and then same with the evaluation we would love clear feedback because we do want to always um be a representation of also what you guys see and what you experience and so I desire um any type of feedback off of your trips because we can always evolve and grow and shift and change um the way that we we run and Handle trips and so and there's some things that as a trip leader we might have overlooked and

it would be nice to see and know and so we can just make sure we're paying attention to it so we want to hear your voices that evaluation form is for that um where you can share your thoughts your experiences and um everything that you love about the trip leader and Joe and your teammates share the love um we are going to talk about Sponsorships and trip Raffles um but before that I just want to talk um a little bit just about in general our trips and what's coming and what we're seeing and the patterns

we're seeing we're seeing an increase in how trips cost they're going up it's expensive um everywhere is expensive I can't even get an Uber that is cheaper than a plane ticket um the other night I was leaving um an airport and my flight was delayed and so the person who was going to pick Me up wasn't able to anymore and I was going to Uber home and if costs the exact same amount as my plane ticket and so I sat it out and I waited for that person to come get me instead and so in

general um flights are going up um prices are going up hotels the pricing of hotels are going up um rentals are going up everything has gone up there's an inflation happening and um I do want you to know that our team myself Heather we work really hard to Make sure that we are finding the best discounts um the best way to keep our trips as low as possible um we aren't flippantly just um booking hotels because it's it's fun and it looks nice and it has a good pool um we're actively looking at places that

will save you money but then also serve as a space where you can rest rejuvenate and um and that balance um is super hard right now because of how everything costs and so I just want you guys to know that it's not Overlooked we we know it costs a lot to travel with us um and I would just love to like pose the question of like what what are we investing in I recently asked myself this when I'm headed on trips like what am I investing in what is as these prices go up what am

I actually pouring into with my finances um am I investing in what God is doing in the space am I investing in growth am I investing in um our team am I investing in this this Nonprofit We are a part of um this is a Miss's organization am I investing into what God is doing and how he is growing this department um so there's a lot of different things that we um should look into when we're investing in these trips it's not just um for experience and vacation like we are we're doing God's work and

we're investing in God's work and he will give back um Heather's gonna even share a story of how she's been sponsored before and the Lord has moved Um as she's invested in trips and I can even share for myself early on um when I first started with you guys uh trips were pricey and I knew God wanted me to go on them but it affected the end of the month and what rent looked like and what it looked like to um just walk out my life in different areas and I told the Lord like okay

I will choose to budget and shift things different because I believe um in this organization a part of I believe in this Family I believe that you want me on these trips and I believe that you're going to provide through each one that I go on and I'm not kidding you guys it's our electric bill was lower that month I don't know why like different things came through where it all balanced out and it was fine and um the Lord came back and double fold he gave me um money in different spaces um different fund

fundraisers came through and money came through and people um handed me a check That I was like okay Lord I didn't even ask and you're coming through and so the Lord will provide if you have prayed through what trips you should go on I fully believe without any doubt that the Lord will provide no matter what the cost of the trip is um and it will uh it it's even more beautiful when you're walking out um an experience with the Lord on a trip when you know that he's come through in a way that might

have been um in a position where you were Unsure if this should be for you um and so trust the Lord um when you see those trip fees come through trust trust your team trust us that we've um worked hard to make it as cheap as possible but then also trust that the Lord will come through and um we want this ministry to be sustainable um we want it to grow and um stay for generations to come and you need money to be able to have a R run the way that it does and um

Joe is beyond gracious her heart is so for us And for this ministry that just so you know like when she's on trips and churches um give honorariums and stuff she does not pocket any of that she is putting that into our missions Department she's putting that into our team um so we can continue to even do what we do and there's so many trips where sometimes fees um in the beginning our one number and by the end we've had different things come up and the money has to come from somewhere And so there might

be times where on the back end um Agape has taken some of that and has eaten some cost that for me um as I'm watching I don't believe that should be happening I believe that our team should be paying for every single thing that we are um being a part of because the Lord is so good to us and the opportunity that we have are Beyond um a gift and so many people don't get the opportunities we get and so on the back end you might be receiving um extra Trip fees from Heather and I

and that's just because we don't want Agape to be bleeding money after each trip and these are coming from things that you might already know are happening on the trip we're pretty good about communicating um on our last trip we were in Poland and we needed an international driver's license what who knew but we learned that you need an international driver's license that cost money um that we weren't expecting it would cost um or Different Ubers we didn't expect to have to use that cost a little bit more or maybe um you're sitting in Paris

traffic for two hours and we thought it was going to be 30 minutes and now all our gas prices have gone up and so there's just things like that that happen on trips that um we we try to anticipate and we try to pay attention to before but um there are moments where just weird things happen and things cost money and in the past Agape has just um Taken it and I I want to see and this ministry grow and be sustainable and last for generations and so we are going to on the back end

um if anything costs a little bit more just request that from you guys um and if you have any questions can totally answer um any of those things offline with you guys but um just want you to know we try so hard to make this affordable for everybody so we implemented new things um we have opportunities for sponsorships and for Trip Raffles some of you have already been a part of trip Raffles um but in our trip um sponsorships um underneath um our team resources there's going to also be a link where you can download

um different uh different things when it comes to just social media Graphics you're going on a trip you want sponsorship I have sponsorship letters drafted made for you um we have different uh different techniques different things where you can have the Ask and let people sponsor you um it is amazing when you ask or tell people what you are doing how many of them want to be a part of it there's so many people that their schedules their lifestyle um doesn't allow them to go on Mission and their heart is to um send people and

be a part of that mission just from home um and be able to sponsor you in your life um and so we have resources uh to be able to do that for me up until um this season of life I've never done that Before and so it was helpful to have different tools and different ways to be able to ask for people to donate to your trip and to what you were doing and just invest in your life and what you're doing through Agape so we have all of those for you you'll be able to

look those up soon um to be able to plan for your your trip um and have all the resources behind you for trip sponsorship and then I'm going to turn this over to You Heather all right so I'm GNA talk to you A Minute from a CPA perspective because I used to work at a CPA firm and I am an accountant so when you go on a trip any dime that you pay out save your receipt if you're in the airport and you buy a bottle of water save your receipt and then put that on

your taxes as um it's ending expenses you put towards charity you get to deduct that on your taxes if you itemize if you take standard Deduction you don't get to do that but it it is a way for you to get some back from what you've given out especially when you've got a $2,000 trip that's really helpful and Agape is going to send you an itemized chart of how much you paid out but they're not going to know you know you got a Pepsi here you got a candy bar you got Chick-fil-A nobody's going to

know so make sure you keep those receipts and document those and you might even want to show on your Credit card this was the time that I was on that trip here are the expenses I incurred just a little note to help you guys out for sponsorship something that I have done is I've put it on Facebook and I've said hey I'm going to this location and I would love to get this much money this is how much I need to raise and I have never not met the goal just to tell you guys I

also will put it out to my small group this is the amount that I'm trying to get and then um the The letters that Kylie has I also will send out letters to those who are um maybe don't use social media or those who um would be more snail mail oriented I will send letters to those people because some do not like any type of social media and those people have actually been some of the bigger donors for me just people I have relationships with in church and what you want to do is you want

them to go to our website and go to the partner section just like You pay for a trip you want them to choose missions team only but then instead of the trip in the in the comments you want them to put your name because when I see that come through I'm G to put that under your account and I'm going to keep track so Kylie got $500 Kirk got $200 and I'm going to keep that on your tab and I'm going to credit that the next time you go on on a trip and that's a

hugee help for you and if they do it that way they get a tax Deduction if they venmo you money they don't get a tax deduction so that's one of the perks of having them go through the website and then we just keep track of it for the Raffles and the trip giveaways what you need to do is you need to be on at least one iners trip and two online trips in a year once you fulfill that the next year your name will go into the Raffles and we're this year we're doing I believe

are we doing two two domestic and one International and so that's generally the goal of what we're going to do and we're going to pull it out of a hat like Kylie did and um it's just such a blessing because people contribute I keep track of when people contribute to our missions and that is our funding to send people on a mission trip so I do that because I love you guys and we want to try to make this as cheap as possible for you and enable you to go on as many trips as you

Can I think that's all did you need me to share on anything else Kylie no you're great you're amazing um yes so we're gonna trop up trip leaders we love them um what do you expect from your trip leader um your trip leaders love you um for me I pray for every single one of you before we go on a trip it's such a beautiful honor to be able to lead our crew because you guys are just so fun uh you're fun you're loving um you just make trips so much fun and so For a

trip leader if you know this or not you've might experience this from them or you didn't realize that this is what goes on behind the scenes in preparation for a trip as they lead um but a trip leader will um be prayed for and Joe chooses um the trip leader on who she believes would be great great for that trip um and so it's not just random she prays and knows who should be leading the crew that's going and a trip leader will um be a part of the Itenerary knows the itinerary will help make

sure that the trip is as orderly as possible um before a trip they're praying for you they are um looking at each team member and um paying attention to their gift things and uh who they are and what they're going to be bringing to that trip and then um for you guys paying attention part of that paying attention to the group chat the signal chat and um participating in it uh they will be prepping a pre trip Zoom we do This most of you have been on them if you've been on a trip you've been

on the zoom um Grace with them because it is very hard to find space and time for everyone to jump on a zoom call because you guys all have busy lives um and so just paying attention before a trip um for those type of those type of details because they're trying to organize everyone's schedule so we can jump on a call before and that call before is so we are just prepared and Ready in the best way possible even if you've done 30 40 trips um each trip is unique and the trip leader will have

the information for each trip and that you might need to know going into it sometimes for in different countries it might be talking about culture um and what to expect how we should be in honor in the spaces that we're going into they might be talking about um a church and their unique um leadership and the way that we can serve the church in a Special way um they might be talking about uh complicated details in a trip um or different things you might need to know um maybe special things that you should be packing

prepping for um it's also a time to just walk through the itinerary and um see all the details within the trip and know that it will change um but they are trying to give you as much information on the front end as possible um your trip leader will also um review values and different um Things that you should expect when we're on our trip when it comes to um like Joe talked earlier walking in unity um paying attention to what Ministry time looks like um just different trip rules that we want to pay attention to

and be prepared for um and then also a time just to connect and meet new team members sometimes on zooms you've never seen faces before and you're about to travel together ad Minister together and so it's just a time to connect meet them Um get to know them a little bit and then also pray together before we jump on a trip and then on a trip your trip leader is the one that has the answers for you and so we want the trip leader to be the one that you go to that you're comfortable going

to if there's a need um comfortable going to if you have any questions um the one that you will go to if Joe has said we might be doing corporate words or prophetic words um or maybe she has said you're gonna teach Like just they're the person that you can bounce those ideas off um we desire that you use the trip leader to help discern you when discern different words that come up for um a public space um you should always be bringing corporate words to your trip leaders so they can pray through it with

you um maybe even help um how delivery might be grow grow together um trip leader is also for if there is any conflict you want to bring it to the trip leader um first we don't We don't need things to grow um behind the scenes with our team so if there's a conflict just go straight to them um and they can help walk through um how we can get back to um peace between each other and um the trip leader also is there to serve in a position where um Joe can be focused on all

that she needs to be focused on um she's prepping messages she is um prayerfully Discerning what God is doing and um to be honest none of us know that weight um our team doesn't Know the weight that she has to carry when she's on trips and there's a lot that goes on behind the scenes for her um and she needs a space for the Lord to speak and she's also um a lot of energy goes into um releasing a message releasing impartation um she's also counseling leaders at almost all times sometimes resting and you don't

even realize what Joe's doing behind the scenes and she's counseling leaders having 4-Hour lunches praying with Pastors while we um are napping or hanging out or sightseing like there's there's a lot that goes behind the scenes for her and so we desire that the trip leader is somebody that will be the one that filters questions that will be the one that communicates and just trust that Joe's communicating to the trip leader and will communicate to you and so we want to make sure that all questions are filtered through the trip leader um before you go

to Joe um I have This t-shirt that my staff just gave me and it says go ask someone else and they gave it to me because when I'm on site everybody all our volunteers all of the ones we serve want to come straight to me because they think that I'm the best one to answer their questions and so it was just a joke because they I constantly say like I'm not coming into the office today because I can't answer questions and so now I have this t-shirt that says go ask somebody else and so I

Want to to just think Joe is always wearing the go ask somebody else t-shirt and that I don't actually have to buy her one like my staff bought me one to try to get people to stop asking her questions because she's just asking God questions and um so ask your trip leader if they don't know the answer they'll find the answer they will pray for an answer um they will discern for an answer but go through your trip leader and always first don't ask Joe new Motto um and then on the trip too um if

there's anything that you you see you experience um you need to debrief you um were in Ministry and you were just unsure of how to handle something like please don't just put it to the side like debrief that with your leader um help them uh let them come in and speak into things also while you're ministering and you get caught in a scenario where you're like this is above me I am Uncomfortable I'm not sure you can always pull the trip leader um you can always come up there's not a moment where if the trip

leader ministering that they won't be able to pause or bless the person that they're ministering to and not just come over and help you um and so just know that they're there for you and they're there to cover you too as you are ministering um they're also there to make things fun you know like let's have Fun and trip leader wants to allow you guys to have fun too we're not just the rural barriers uh we want to have fun and build family um you will on a trip you might be asked by a trip

leader to do a Devotion to do communion um and so that's also something that you can expect from your trip leader is that you might be asked to um lead our team in some special um special time during team time um the trip trip leader will also um be the one that um at the end of Trips will just um be asking for different photos and different things they might assign you roles um sometimes a trip leader might assign you a role to be the photographer um Kathy Sturgis has been on so many trips recently

and so we just don't need to assign anybody because Kathy's so good at it um she just captures the best photos um some of them are in front of you right now Cathy captured um she's so good at it but that's also important we want to be able To capture everything that has gone on on a trip um we also want to be able to have wonderful photos for even our social media so the world can see what our team is doing um and that will also help them invest in your trips and so we

can do more trip um Raffles and so capturing our team doing what they do best um it can be an all Hands-On deck but it also might be something that is assigned to you and so the trip leader just does things like that uh they are There for your best interests at all times and might be the one that calls you to something that is uncomfortable for you but it's to grow you um and to get you out risking and um doing all that God has for you so trip leaders there for you and there

for the team and then we have partner levels um Kath you want to go through this real quick sure yeah um and I just want to make sure that everyone knows that I'm not harming the woman that is In the picture that I'm holding her head she didn't stand up long though after that she didn't stand up long but she also did get some healing praise God so when we first started Agape um we had been on a trip in a different country and uh we saw what happened was there were people at all different

levels of training and um there were four of us that were on that trip and those are all still Agape members today and uh what happened was we were doing a lot of Cleanup because those team the the team that we were partnering with in that foreign country um they would open something up in a person and they wouldn't know how to close it and so as we were talking about agape and talking about how we were going to move we came up with these partner levels and I want you to know that because it

was actually um from the Lord that we feel like we came up with these it wasn't because we're trying to hold people back it's Actually so that at every level we see and discern where you're at we see what you can handle and we see how integrated you are into the family the Agape family and that you would be moving from that place so it's not um thoughtless it's actually we have prayerfully come up with each of these levels The Apprentice level that is people who have just come into aape they may not have very

much training and they may be new to Agape and so we put Them at an apprentice level that is the the entry level um and those people who are at an apprentice level they can travel local to you that's what it says wherever you live if it's overseas then it's local to you overseas if it's here in the US it's local to wherever you are um that also means non-travel and there are times when we know that you don't live in an area where we're going and so there are times when we will pull someone

who is apprentice and we'll get Them on a trip just so that they can have the experience but we know that the um Apprentice level people they need more training uh they need more equipping we're not going to throw them into situation or a trip that is heavy Ministry if we know that they are not prepared yet to do that and it's just a it's for us we want to see everyone get to a team member level but we don't want to put them in that place too soon internship we see that that person that

Internship level is growing um growing in their gifting and in their Ministry but also they're growing in the family in agape and they understand how we move together they understand how we minister they understand our DNA those people they can travel local to them and domestic travel so whatever country they're in they can travel within that country there are times every once in a while where we might pull someone um out of that but it is usually Joe and I Talking um and praying and then inviting that person to travel somewhere else it's not very

often but um this is also so not a hard and fast Rule and then our team member level they um they've been with us for a long time or they are fully equipped and trained and they're ready to go we realize they can teach um at a moment's notice they can prophesy at a moment's notice they are a leader within our team and those people can travel local domestic and international Travel those are our partner levels but I also also want to talk about one other level that we don't have on the screen that we

see will happen more and more often and that is when our life school students actually go on a trip with us and they aren't on any level they're Pro most of them are probably in The Apprentice level and they want experience and so we they have to be at a certain level in the Life School we have course one course two course three So they have to be in course three but we want them to get handson experience with our team now we love them and we know that when they're with us we get to

pour into them but not all of them and probably rarely will they become an Agape Freedom Fighters team member and so we have this moment when they're on a trip with us to pour into to them and and grow them but then also send them and so I want you to know that every once in a while our last trip here in California we had a a Life School student who came on the trip and then she has stepped back into the life school and growing and so that's um that's how they all are uh

we have been very strategic if you ever wonder what level you are at you can reach out to Heather you can reach out to Kylie um all of us have access to that and I also want you to know that if you are at Apprentice or internship Joe and I are continually praying through and asking The Lord and watching how we can move people up if you ever need a conversation about what level you're at I am more than open to have a conversation and um if you're at an apprentice or an internship level and

you would love to be at a team member level but you're not there yet a conversation I think communication is awesome and I would love to be asked a question like hey what can I grow on and where do you think that my skills need To grow or what can I do to get um to mature and uh to get to that team member level so that we can do it I I think the the greatest way is that everywhere you go if you see not just while you're on trips but you see everywhere I

go and every moment I am actually Kingdom Minded and I'm actually ministering everywhere and so that's the fastest way to um receive your own personal growth I think that's it I will turn it over to Kirk wait wait can I can I yeah okay you First Joe okay uh I just want to make sure I mentioned that sometimes on our trips thank you Kath for that great explanation sometimes guys on our trips we will have pastoral Partners so who those people are are people that we normally it's it's pastors of churches and leaders of Ministries

who want to go with Agape because we are fun people and they don't have enough fun in their life and they want to go on a trip with us normally they are loaded with gifts they Totally can run the universe they just want to come for fun so often uh we will have those pastoral Partners on our trips with us you will know ahead of time who they are uh and and in the past it's been absolutely awesome and lifegiving for those past asoral Partners to be around you uh they have said those trips have

changed their lives and breathe new life into them so you will also see them my last comment on the partner levels is our goal as Kathy said is to make sure that you are fully operating with confidence and dependence on the Lord in every scenario the the scenario that I can give to you is when we're on a a a particularly an international trip I will bring Rwanda up for this reason in Rwanda in several situations we had so much demonic manifestation and the team that was with us AR Agape team members were all able

to take care of the people being flipped out of their seats and all of the stuff That was going on the screaming the the stuff that was happening within the churches that doesn't normally happen with our team stuff was going on everywhere and I didn't have to go hey you take care of that or the trip leader didn't have to go you our team automatic Ally because they're so trained got up and went to the backs of the church and took care of all that deliverance and that is the diffence between an apprentice level and

somebody who's a Team member sometimes when manifestations happen in the Demonic and we're on a domestic trip an apprentice level person likely would look like a deer in the headlights uh oh something's happen I have no idea what to do and a more seasoned a team member would go with you and take care of it that's why we want to make sure you don't get thrown under the bus you know what you're doing you're confident we're always learning as we go guys nobody's Arrived but that is the whole point we're not trying to keep anybody

from growing we want you to grow but we also want to make sure you know what you're doing uh and that we can have across the board everybody is able to take care of every situation that comes up so I hope that helps go ahead K so when we when we go on trips um you'll hear us talk about shadowing and we have a life school student or we have an apprentice level team member we are partnering them with A team member who is fully functioning in all inner healing um physical healing Deliverance prophecy uh

that team member is going to be able to have them and and allow that life school student or that Apprentice level student um team member be shadowed by them and mentored for them walk with them as we see more students come on our trips and there's only certain trips that we're allowing them to come on that are open to Life School students uh We're gonna be partnering you if you're a team member we're going to be partnering you with a Life School student or with an apprentice student I mean um Team person and we just

expect for you to help them guide them stay with them I will say um there have been times when on trips I know The Apprentice level team member or I know the Life School student and I know that they are not skilled like Joe said to to um walk in in all the Different aspects of inner healing or deliverance and sometimes I see them trying to go on their own and what happens is they will open what we call don't open a can of worms um they will open that can of worms and they don't

have any idea how to close it uh and then before you know it they are in too deep or there's been times when you see them and they're off in a corner praying by themselves because they had no idea what they were getting themselves into So when we partner you with someone there's a reason why we partner you with them and it's so that they will not get in over their head um we've had it happen where it it has um become quite the disaster that we have to clean up because they 've gone off

on their own and they didn't see what was coming but we could have seen it so just to throw that out there for you um we're super grateful that all of you are willing to help and train and equip it's part of Our call it's part of the Agape call on our life that we feel like we are an Apostolic Ministry and we are training and equipping every person who comes along our path right Kirk where you at your turn all right thanks Kylie great job on the presentation I've learned so much uh just listening

to Kathy and Joe and Heather and my section that Joe asked me to put or Kylie asked me to put together is on Pro tips Pro travel tips and Tricks that I've collected uh over the last few years and I have them grouped into four different categories a little bit about mindset a little bit about p p in and how to pack some stuff about electronics and stuff about health and I can post all those over in the chat after I'm done so a lot of them are common sense but how many people know that

one good key tip that you can pick up can actually change the whole trip or oh I wish I would have known that I mean But the first time I went to Brazil I didn't even know that you had to have like an electrical converter to change your power source I didn't know that and I found out the hard way luckily Jo had a or thankfully Joe had an extra one for me but I'm just going to go over a few tips and tricks um the first one is obvious you should be full and prayed

up and connected to Jesus you know we are following the leading of the Holy Spirit and we are on Kingdom family On a mission and that's the number one thing that you have to take with you is that we are on a team for Jesus number two be patient uh they're the and be flexible flights are going to get delayed they're going to get missed stay in peace um I can remember uh I mean I can tell a story about each one of these but I've been with Joe when all the flights are canceled and

we missed it and we have to rent a car and drive six or seven hours somewhere and I never s I'm all riled up about it and I never saw Joe's heartbeat get over 60 you know what I'm saying she just went into prayer just kind of moved around I'm like wow this is a real Pro traveling and I just see so many other people just getting so frustrated and cussing and fussing the flight attend or the the people and we just got to stay in P knowing that's part of the mindset knowing that things

are going to come up but we are going to get through it Number three on mindset is just be observant uh of your surroundings in airports marketplaces hotels and trips we do have a rule uh it's kind of an Unwritten rule it might be written when you're going to even go um to a coffee shop or go outside you need to go in pairs if not in groups of three or more and I value security I value protection and I love uh knowing that we have to have other people um when we go outside around

us a Few Packing Tips is pack for the weather and pack for the event and always if you can carry a small umbrella or a cheap rain poncho or a light jacket because you never know when it's going to rain everybody asks what do I wear for Ministry and it's got to be comfortable presentable and honoring the Lord and my first trip when I shadowed Kathy and Oklahoma she's like oh you just need to pray about what the Lord wears what what what you want what you just need to pray About and ask the Lord

what to wear because I'm kind of picky about that sometimes and if you do have questions I mean I know know we're were talking to Katherine ban the other day about it you can always reach out if it's you know slacks or jeans or whatever we can kind of help hone that in but just pack clothes that are honoring uh to the Lord I saw on Kylie's slide there packing cubes packing cubes can help keep things organized keep your dirty clothes Separate souvenirs and trinkets separate um if an airline loses your luggage which sometimes it

can it's always helpful to have an extra change of clothes or at least a T-shirt and a toothbrush and an extra pair of underwear or something in a backpack or a carry-on bag somebody can spill coffee on you I mean sometimes you're traveling for over 24 hours and you just kind of sweat through your clothes and it's always nice to have something so you Don't have to just go run out and buy something if it gets lost I like to put a piece of paper with my name and address inside my luggage in case my

luggage tag falls off you know that that can kind of happen sometimes so at least the airport can know know how to contact you if they open it up or if somebody you know accidentally takes your bag there's a lot of black Samsonite bags out there and that can happen as well one of my Pro tips is Have a backpack that has like a little uh thing on the back where we can slide it over the handle of your luggage that always helps stack um your your luggage so you can mobile and be be movable

through the airport one thing I always pack is a Downey uh wrinkle releaser this is like a big Pro tip right here you can just kind of spray it on your shirt and kind of pop it real good and steam it while you're taking a shower this this is a Game Cher right here uh for me because a lot of places internationally don't even have um irons in um in the room and then I know a lot of times we carry lint rollers or uh tied stained sticks or something like that in case you do

get a spot on your clothes and then I always like to make sure that I have at least three or four shirts and three or four socks and three or four underwears that are all about the same color and if I do have to do one load of laundry I can Just throw all that in in one load and just have an extra couple of days and then there's no shame in doing rears either right if we're traveling to different places and you want to show up in the same outfit three or four days later

nobody cares and nobody cares if you're wearing a Goodwill shirt or a Gucci shirt as long as it's you know honoring to the Lord and presentable um on health I think it's important to stay hydrated and make sure You have plenty of medications I wear contact lenses so I want to make sure that I'm packing an extra set or two of contact lenses in case we're in the ocean and the wave knocks all your contacts out or you know you just lose one that's I think that's common common sense but you do need to make

sure that you have plenty of supplements and things like that with you and carry those in a carry-on we need to stay hydrated U as Team leaders we always try to buy water and sometimes you can put powdered electrolytes in there and hydration tablets and things like that because traveling 10 12 hours in an airplane at those altitudes can dehydrate you also kind of know what the local water supply is like you know sometimes you can't even really brush your teeth with the water we're not sitting out you know in the Amazon jungle but sometimes

there's different bacterias in there That can upset the stomach and just need to be kind of kind of aware of [Music] that um look at your diet and kind of think what your diet is a lot of times some of the places are real high in carbs or they have different spice mixtures just try to stay balanced you know there's there'll be times to go out there and really eat real heavy sometimes and get full but just and then sometimes you just get real excited and Can even forget to eat and it's important to to

make sure you're snacking properly and just maintaining a balanced diet and don't be afid afraid to try new things you know every once in a while it is kind of neat to go go to a place and try something new but just still use your best judgment and and pray about that pray about that as well I love packing snacks it's always good to pack snacks for a buddy you know sometimes you might get out a protein Bar and you realize your neighbor next to you has got the munchies and if you can kind of

Supply them with a pack of nuts or a protein bar that's a that's kind of a pro tip is to have have snacks for your your buddy too we do try to incorporate uh walking or exercising uh within our mission you know sometimes we're sitting around or or been on a plane for a long time so it's important to stretch I'm not saying you got to go to the gym every day like Haley and Joanne and yolan do and Kathy uh morning I'm not I'm not there yet but these team times where we can go

on a 45 minute walk uh every other day um through the neighborhoods or through a park some of the best conversations and growth goes through there it's not your time for inner healing with Joe uh moment or whatever but you can really get to bond on sorry everybody's probably been there done that one just strike that Heather out of the Out of the out of the call and off the bot but um Team time and walking and moving your body goes a long way especially on trips over over 10 days and then know about the

vaccinations in the countries sometimes if you're in Africa you might have to have a certain yellow fever vaccination or malaria vaccination or something like that and your team leader should have all that required and then of course that's all stuff you need to go by your doctor with And go by the rules I guess you could say on technology there's a lot of different technology type things you need to have a universal adapter my Pro tip is is to make sure you have one that has USB ports on it so you can plug your phone

directly into this instead of trying to plug your phone into um an outlet in your hotel room in a foreign country earplugs and noise cancelling headphones go a long way especially on airplanes I know some people uh put eye Masks on sometimes to help sleep or hoodies in a good travel pillow um helps as well I always carry a small portable scale with me you can get these at Walmart for like $7 and they're real lightweight you can just hook your bag up to it and weigh it and that way you know that you're always

in uh weight compliance and some some countries have 50 pound Max some of them are 20 kilogram Max how do you really know what that really means and it stinks whenever You have to open up your bags and shift two or three pounds over to another bag I think everybody's shaking in their hands has been there done that anybody that's traveled has has had to do that and it's good to know that you're in weight compliance um before you get on that plane Dorene taught me about this these are little radio RFID blocker cards um

you can get a a four pack of these for about $10 and you can put these in your Wallet and they help protect your credit cards from people trying to skim your information in the marketplace so that that's kind of u a good thing to to help too when they see a bunch of Americans walking through an airport people are trying to bump you and and get your information off of your card so you can get these little blocker cards that just kind of sit in there and they kind of protect your whole wallet I

always take pictures of my Driver's license health insurance car insurance travel travelers insurance and uh all that kind of stuff and have those on my phone in a secure area in case you did lose your driver's license or passport at least you have a picture of them you know how a picture of your credit card front and back that has your credit card numbers and your uh little three-digit security code on there and it's even better if you can have that in a secure location in your cloud in case You lose your phone so something

something's better than nothing A picture of a passport doesn't substitute by a passport by any means but it's a it's a good start also be be aware of um logging on to the internet on free Wi-Fi and local cafes and things like that it's always best to Hot Spot off of your phone on a secure VPN if you have that type of data plan I think that's kind of common sense but that's a big deal for my company That I work for and I think that should be a big deal um for us as well

there's an app that you can buy on your or get on your phone it's free it's called Google translate and it works wonders you can just talk in there like hey how are you doing and it'll just pop it out in Portuguese or French or whatever you're wanting to do and then you can actually hold your phone up over a menu and scan it and it'll just kind of do a 90% translation of the menu for It so Google translate can really work wonders you'll see everybody over there they'll talk in French and it'll pop

out in English to you you can talk back in English and it'll pop out in in h France French to them when you're taking pictures of locals um just be mindful if you see something cool over there don't just start taking a bunch of pictures of people sitting there doing work in Africa I mean I remember when we're in Africa and you see everybody selling little fish and doing things you know ask to take a picture be considerate whenever you're taking pictures I think that's um just common sense but there's also kind of rules and

protocol on taking pictures within the church and during Ministry time and posting all that on social media some churches are kind of uh you need to know what their rules are you don't want to be taking pictures of people people flopping on The ground and posting those up on your social media and then if you do pull um some really professional pictures off of um a Church's social media Instagram to repost on your own give that give that kid that took that picture some credit you know what I'm saying just say photo provided by um

XYZ church or something like that because those some some people pay people to do their social media and if you're just scamming pictures to make your own self look good on your give That photo some some credit and then be mindful of the crowd shots that you're posting and things like that on the social media too that should go unsaid but it's happened before where we've had to go back and and take take things down smart tags or air tags are are GPS tags that you can place in your luggage or place in your backpack

so if you do lose your your luggage or your backpack you can pull it up on your phone and track that they're about 20 20 to $40 Piece those are good uh travel chips that you can put along with your backpack or your luggage on your credit cards it's always good I think to travel with two credit cards um just just in case one of them doesn't work I was at Costco the other day and pulled out a Master Card and didn't realize that Costco didn't take Master Card they only take Visa uh type thing

some banks it's good to notify your bank if you're traveling overseas So that they'll know that you're going to be in that area and know what your itinerary is a lot of them use AI now to track your habits but sometimes if you just have never been to Brazil and you just bang your credit card for $100 or $10 the it might be refused um I know we had some issues in Paris when we were trying to get gas trying to put our credit cards in um in the in the at 11 o'clock at night

uh it was kind of a Challen challenge there and sometimes There's fees that are associated with currency exchange on your credit card and a good bank um that you're that you have relationship with Will usually wave all those fees or refund those fees and then also just kind of know what your cell phone plan is you know Does it include data and roaming and calls and things like that so that's that's always good to check with your your provider on your cell phone plan and that's really uh my main tips And trick and I'm sure

that we could go on and on on about that but those are just some of the things that I've picked up um traveling with you guys over the years I could credit each person to who taught me those as well that's it love it thanks Kirk so much that was fantastic uh also this is some some of this information um that's what happens on the zoom calls before a trip is when we're looking at specific trips there Might specific needs especially for international trips our um Paris call we are talking about all the different types

of plugs you need and different things and so um make sure that you're making those pre-trip Zoom calls a priority because a lot of these tips and tricks will come into the specific trip that you're on thanks Kirk that was great um Team resources I am very excited um to let you know that we are expanding just resources for you guys so You guys have different um things that can equip you and prep you for trips um I am in process have a few videos done but creating a few more videos of Just translation videos

for different trips that we're going on and so um there's different phrases that we might use in Ministry um or just like helpful things like where's the coffee or show me where the bathroom is um and then also different Ministry phrases like Come Holy Spirit and things like that and so Um I'm making videos for you guys for different countries in different languages um so you guys can study up before we leave for a trip um and you can be prepared to just be a part of the culture and to know a little bit of

the language um for trips that we're coming and so that will also be in the team resources area online for you um and then we're also having just some other helpful videos um Emon and I are going to be filming um while we're on a Retreat a video on um just Outreach and what it looks like to do ministry in Walmarts and in coffee shops and um what it looks like to even do that as a team um so many of us sometimes just do it oneon-one when we're going about our days or this is

your activation to start doing that um where it's just about your everyday life where you're just ministering to people but when we go out as a team um there's just different Team Dynamics and skills and just tips um on How we can make that flow nicely and so we um have found we just did a trip in California had a blast I'm doing Outreach in Walmart and so much of the team that was with us was like oh I've never done this how do you do this and so we've decided that we are going to

Resource you with that um and so there will be different types of videos and stuff each time I add one I'll make sure and our signal chat to let you guys know that a video will be uploaded or Different um files will be uploaded for you guys so you can have different resources coming your way constantly so we can always be growing and learning um and expanding our skills um Kirk's list that he just talked about we'll be there um we'll have different um yeah different things that will just be helpful for you guys and

then if there's something that you would love to see um or if there's something that we can resource you in um feel free to reach Out to me um talk to me about it um I would love to just equip you guys in every way that's possible and I if I have access to be able to do that I would love to do that so there's anything that you would just would be helpful for you guys uh to learn in grow in um or anything that would help you prepare for a trip um so you

mission that that would just go deeper go deeper uh the Core of that be stronger uh family on a mission and Lord just thank you uh uh that even though Abraham went out uh not knowing where he was going uh we're going out knowing where we're going but you'll equip us just the same and that you honor you honor that you honor the the willingness uh the sacrifice um all the things that go with leaving home and going to different places I just thank you for that so Lord I Thank you for refreshing the vision

Refreshing the vision of this ministry refreshing the the the vision through what's been taught today and Lord thank you again for that uh solidification of all these principles and all these core ingredients Lord we just seal it Lord we seal it by the power of your name Jesus and Lord I just um ask that you would just bring down every obstacle that stands in the way of this team Being able to walk in the fullness of their calling Lord that um whether it's Financial or um time restraints or whatever Lord we just ask that you

would just make our ways so clear and defined I feel like this was a defining call to just really um uh it's like a a lens that you just keep adjusting until it's so clear and I feel like there was Clarity today and so as we walk out Lord I just ask for that Clarity to just um spill over into everyday life Lord where Even as the calendar uh popped up Lord that you would just stir in our hearts of where we're supposed to be a part of Lord and how do we partner um with

our Agape family out on um the front lines in the front lines and so we just bless each person here as they listen to your still small voice of where uh they're supposed to be going and that no mountain will seem uh too insurmountable to pass over lord because you make a way when there is no way and I love Heather Talking about how you've just opened the way and we just Embrace that for our own lives and our own finances Lord that you would just bust open away and we just bless our family in

that as we partner with you Lord we don't want to ever do anything on our own Lord this is this is you inviting us to come and play and so we say yes Lord yes yes amen yes so be it amen amen anybody have questions Ed has a question he put it in The chat a little while ago Ed yeah Ed you had a question so glad you asked yeah so so glad you asked I know I said Kathy will see it and then Kathy shut us down said you save it till the end no

she said hey you hey y all y Ed okay honey tell them what what yeah just my honey was uh just mentioned briefly it's come up before but I don't know if there's a way with uh the trips especially the international ones to be Able like Joe for your flight spe book sooner than later yeah they were're working on that now actually yeah um Casey's trying to work on those four months ahead so uh so we're working that he just had to get acclimated in the job he's only been two and a half almost three

weeks now so our biggest problem is our travel agent yes so he I just sent him another reminder uh he's already uh working on January so he's backfilling a couple of The trips that we've been waiting uh because our travel agent told us to wait he thought that some of the prices would go down so that sometimes is the problem of our travel agents like yikes they're so high right now don't do it wait and then that just hings everybody up but just know that we're going we're starting again uh this next week to work

all the way into January that would be awesome because that that is definitely you know one of Our things is watching and going like oh and the prices keep going up and like right now the UK you know 600 bucks around trip from Seattle that's one flight you know so I'm like ah but I'm like it's going to be double that by the time we can book it yeah I'll I'll actually text him on the UK thing I know he started working on that last week but I'll I'll text him on that today that'd be

awesome you know being family oriented we're making it all about us We're showing you guys what not to do okay we lead by example well whatever can lower cost it just helps and you know no pressure yeah there is pressure but no not on you not on you at all not on you at all thank you sure also I wanted to mention that we have a time frame um for the flights uh of you landing at a certain time uh based on when Joe's flights land but here's the deal if you want to sit in

the airport for six hours Before Joe even shows up because that flight is going to be hundreds of dollars cheaper then by all means feel free to sit in the airport for five or six hours if you if you have work or you like books or whatever there's always that option for you to show up early Our concern is people showing up late and then Joe needing to be somewhere and us not having transportation for you but you can always show up early if that's helpful Anybody else Jess Jess quick question so on the calendar

there's a list and it's the one for Global Awakening but when you go to the itinerary it's not listed there so when you go to register for a trip do I just say the one in the calendar and put the dates specific with the name of the church okay which one are we talking about the one for September I believe it's 8th and 9th it's it's Global Awakening it's it's right down here in North Carolina but it's not on the itinerary list oh yeah so if uh we uh the latest itinerary the 8th and nth

the one that uh was that Global River yep yeah that is has now been moved into spring of 2025 so Heather and Kai when is the last time everybody got an update dated uh itinerary that just moved just like a week ago we're about to put out another one um it should match we'll clean it up yeah yeah there's been a few there's been a few trips actually in the Last like week and a half two weeks that have changed and adjusted and so there will be um a new list that comes out and those

also um are regularly sent out in the um Family emails that Heather sends out she always sends an updated one in those emails um and so she will be sending out um another email soon um but yeah we've had a couple adjustments literally just in the last week yeah um just one quick note on uh this Deliverance training for Robert Gardner's church here in Nashville it's actually in Spring Hill um but if anybody wants to come on that trip uh you can stay at my house I can host five people at my house and then

you won't have hotel costs and all that so if that is interesting to you then let uh then register let Kylie know um but that is a wonderful very Dynamic small Church um in Springfield but about an hour and 15 minutes from my house um but if you're interested in that um it should be a Fairly low cost trip if you're not too far away just wanted to make sure you knew that Hey Joe one's that date uh it is I think nove the first and second it'll be a Friday night all day Saturday and

it's a gospel church um Robert Gardner and his wife I met at a vaa and I've been there many times uh they've got a 17 singer Gospel Choir I I love it it would be my church It Wasn't So Far Away uh but it's super It's just amazing but they don't have a lot of training in Deliverance so they're looking for that h oh Jack was next yes um okay I know this is probably really impossible to do but is there any way on some of the trips coming up like ballpark like that goes into

sometimes I think about oh that sounds like fun but I have no idea like what even a ballpark number I would have to have in order Like if it's like oh that's going be 7 that's out the window or just kind of like having any type of ballpark figure would be helpful I don't know if that's even possible on on most of when you scroll down at the bottom of the itinerary most of them when you look at the uh registration date and when the closing in there's there's some estimated costs um Heather and I

are trying to work that out sooner too um those estimated costs Just so you know will not include flights though um so when you're looking looking at those um there's some on there I think like a trip coming up it says it's 300 that is like an estimated cost for hotels and for um transportation and stuff but it will not include flights just so you know that it'll also be easier for us to get you that kind of information when we do repeat trips uh covid just jacked so much up for us because we were

very Consistent in going to certain regions of the world and we had some kind of index for cost but when everything imploded with covid and the flights went out the window they just went everything went skyrocketed including hotels and so now we're like is it gonna come down is it gonna stay we we're like this with every trip so hopefully uh the airlines will stop gouging everybody and the hotels will stop gouging everybody and we can get there again uh but I know Angie's having this probably having the same difficulty with South Africa for her

trips with Brian it's really hard right now uh to get anything consistent because it's almost like you one day it could be this and the next week it could be that it's but we're going to try we're trying anybody else were there any more in the chat or were those all EDS nobody else has a question oh I had A statement I want want to make sure it get gets on the recording when we were clarifying which chat is for what thing uh where to post for those that are on our Network and those that

are leading their own churches and their own Ministries and they need prayer for different things that should go on the intercessory chat I think that's the confusion and that we did not specify the mission chat a the AFF Mission chat is for prayer for agape missions trips So that it doesn't get bu that our team's being covered for your ministry and your uh personal prayer requests and those kinds of things that because there's a lot of that and and we love that it's a rich Community we want people to pray that should go to the

intercessory chat and I think things still go in the general chat as as it is with conversations and and needing prayer but I just want to make sure people knew we weren't trying to shut Down prayer uh we just are trying to get it in the right category so hope that helps on that good okay anybody else got anything else nobody wants to go to Ontario huh Canada look at yall you're like um maybe all right we uh we do have that Canada Trip and these are Brazilians they are my friends who run they are

fiery crazy Brazilians and they are in this church in Ontario Canada so if you want a wild Time in the spirit uh you should look into that and it's not expensive right now to fly to Ontario for whatever reason I don't know but that is uh September it's right around the corner September 12th through the 15th uh but I used to minister in their churches in Brazil all the time and uh the Lord shows up in a huge way so just to put that out there and that's all I have back to you Kye it's

all I have Last Chance questions everybody's good all right if you're not coming to the retreat what a bummer sorry that you're not we will try to get as much footage as possible because this year's games are going to be amazing and uh I can't let anybody know any information about that because Lara is ready to take you all down so I'm very quiet and I'm keeping my documents to myself so that none of you know what's going to happen but we got a Wedding going on we got a 50th birthday going on we got

all kinds of stuff going on at that Retreat so if you're not going to be with us we're sad but we will video a ton of it and we will send it out to you uh and we're trying to make sure that we can announce dates for the retreat way ahead of time uh and again uh for tax bases and purposes you guys should know that anything that you do with Agape we always train you at our Retreats it's not all you know it's all Fun and games you know but there is training so you

can legitimately check with your tax person but you can write off all of this stuff on your taxes if you have enough uh write offs at least I'm talking to the Americans you can write off your retreat is training for your missions we will be doing training then you know it's we're having a lot of fun but you need to know that anything that you're spending with Agape is tax Deductible even these Retreat trips so just to let you know anyway cath got anything else yeah I was just gonna say in regards to the trip

um The Retreat trip the last year we were able because our Wi-Fi was really good in the house that we were at we were able to also have a simultaneous Facebook um on our Agape Facebook page we were able to blast that out as a live video um I just want to let you know we will do our best to record it I'm not positive that we Will be able to do a Facebook video just because of where we're at and um it's possible that our Wi-Fi connection will not be great and will be spotty
