Dancing on the sand is so hard. It's impossible. [Music] >> We come out underneath and never get tired of looking soaring way higher.

[Music] >> We had a like a blocked off five weeks of rehearsal before we started filming. I didn't have much dancing experience before this. Um, but it was also really fun because we had like some great dancers that were just super fun to be around.

So, we made the most of it. We had a lot of fun. [Music] >> I loved like the Romeo and Juliet type of thing that Victor and Nova have going on.

>> It's so cute. It wasn't even night when you shot this. I don't think it was like day and we're singing like at the sun.

So, we had to like learn techniques as to how to keep our eyes open when we're singing direct. Like, if you can see, like I'm squinting slightly. >> Yeah, >> I was going blind.

>> It was brutal. It looks dark, but that's literally just a filter. >> I like that moment.

>> Cuz I had to work alongside Malachi. >> Well, that and also I couldn't hit my mark and we had a sandbag and I tripped. You know what took me way too long to realize about that scene is that it's technically a wooden steak and you're a vampire.

>> Oh my god. >> I I literally just figured that out. I thought she was just being cool with a pencil, but it's like so much more.

>> A bunch of cuties out there. >> So much. Also, they rehearsed this like when we rehearse songs a lot of the times it's in front of everybody like all the dancers, all of the cast, which is like daunting at times, but they were running through dream come true and every single dancer was sobbing.

So, including me, >> it was one of the first moments that we really had together that was like where we kind of have our own moment. It was really fun and and we also knew that this scene led into dream come true. So, we were just really excited that like >> this is the introduction to the Romeo and Juliet.

I have really high hopes that the world is going to love this song just as much as we do. So, but just thinking about someday and everything that has brought us and knowing that we're at the start of the journey for this song is it's cool to be sitting here right now watching it. >> So cool.

[Music] >> We filmed this in harness, but we basically we would have like these ramps that we would run up and jump as if we were about to like take flight. And then this was all real. Like we were actually on this stunning mountain.

>> That shot is so beautiful. Oh my gosh. >> Yeah.

I love this one right here. Oh, >> that's so fire. So fire situation.

>> The song makes you want to fly in a field in New Zealand and that's exactly what they did. And like that's what it's so satisfying. >> Literally coming from deep underground.

>> What's interesting is my audition for Zombies, there was a lot of rapping involved. I thought it was going to be like a very rapheavy franchise, but then we really struck the balance. I think we have like a good little rap moment in every movie.

>> Shout out I'm winning from Zombies 2. >> Where was this? >> Oh, a lot of sheep around these parts.

>> I remember that. >> Of course. [Music] >> I can hear Paul behind the camera like you're more concerned.

You're more concerned [Music] >> was actually the last last last shot ever. >> Oh, that's so true. We were all gathered around.

>> Mhm. And they just went sting and we were like, >> there was a guy cranking a rope. >> But see, you got to incorporate those in there.

Because >> because that is my favorite moment this whole movie. >> No, it's so hype. >> Jud is like in full danger and Addison just takes one moment to just eat for some reason.

>> But it's like the stank. Yeah, I know. She just Yeah, [Music] >> I'm literally dying.

Girl, >> y'all should be running. Yes, >> I'm determined [Music] >> when we're zombieing out, you know, you see that we have all these veins and whatnot and red eyes or whatever it is. And obviously that's not really happening when we're doing it on set.

So, you kind of have to just like go all out and forget that you look really insane. And I've always loved physical comedy and like watching Jim Carrey growing up. So, I was always ready to do all that weird stuff, but then they make it look cool.

>> Should I pick one? Okay. >> What was your favorite dance to learn from Zombies 4?

I think like a very exciting moment I had was hopping into um place to be for the first time. Frizzy and all the other day walkers had already learned their section where they're kind of like showing me the ropes and what I had to do was very easy. So I came in late and they were just like just walk with them.

But I hopped in there and I felt their vibes all around me. People were doing flips and whatnot. It was the first time that like we were dancing together as well.

So that was just a really nice moment. It's one of those hype days that you have in the rehearsal space. Thank you so much.

>> What do you do on days when you aren't filming? >> Well, I Oh, in New Zealand, I would walk like 40 minutes to this cafe called Queenies. >> I know exactly what you're talking about.

>> That was so good. >> Yeah. Yeah.

Yeah. Yeah. Yeah.

That place is gas. >> That place is gas. And then hang out with the cast.

We did a lot of game nights. A lot of gaming. Um, what else would we do?

Chandler and I would girl boss. We signed up for this cafe called 03. It was like this library thing.

That's like place. >> Oh, that place is quite go. >> Um, and so we girl bossed a lot, which means just responding to texts >> and um >> and emails and stuff like that.

We went to a lot of concerts. >> We saw the Jonas Brothers. We saw Siza.

We saw Jungle. >> I'll feel it when I get it. >> Uh, I went to go see Fred again.

And who was the last person we saw? >> Heavy. >> Blink 182.

>> Blink182. We did We did what? Sizza and Pink.

Pink was so fun. >> Wait, do you have your phone? >> Yeah, >> I I do want to show this.

>> Is it importable now? >> I just sent it the other day. I sent this Sunday at 8:37 a.

m. It's a blurry picture of Pink flying at her concert. Sometimes when we just need a pickme up, we'll just like throw a pink pick in there.

>> Our group chat with the whole cast is called Portable Not cuz that's when MK puts on glasses and he's like, "Portable not. " >> And then Kobe's like, "Yeah, bro. Bro, bro.

Yeah, bro. >> How did you find out you were cast in Z4? It was like maybe 2:00 a.

m. I was in bed. I had like hair masking, pimple patches on.

My parents ran into my room and then they told me and it was so crazy. My parents filmed it, too. And I was like, I don't know if that footage will ever see the light of day cuz my reaction was like >> I did see the video and it's very very cute.

And obviously she cares very deeply about this franchise, but I don't think that video will ever see the light of day. >> I was very excited. But yeah, I was crying and yeah, I was just so happy.

And then I stayed up all night just listening to zombie songs. Um, but yeah, it was a great it was a really really great day. >> What would be your advice for people trying to break into the business?

any specific dance or vocal lessons? I would say honestly just put yourself out there. I I think that oftent times there you can let the nose get to you.

Um I know that I have and it's just kind of part of it. Also honorable mention is when you are in this business don't listen like other people's opinions. People are going to think what they want to think and you know haters going to hate.

[Music] >> When we talk about passing the torch and we talk about these new heroes hopping into the story, I don't think there was a day that that was resonating more than this moment right here. We were definitely all four of us really locked in in this moment. >> I remember that that song so high and we were singing it >> and we're trying so hard not to be >> lucky.

I was trying to teach a lesson that is you don't have to sound good when you're really doing it. You just got to look like you're really singing it. >> Going for it.

>> So in this moment here specifically, >> I'm so off key in real life, but I just like tried to make it look like we were singing, but honestly that's probably tough for them not to >> Oh, w handhold. W. They were so excited when they're like, "What if we pan down and we see them hold hands?

" >> Also, I clocked that this is from their visions. >> Oh, this was the vision. >> They're both hooded in your vision.

>> Oh my god, you're right. >> Your guys' visions were y'all saving the day. >> I didn't even think of that, dude.

[Music] Step away from the stone and no one gets hurt. >> Okay, this is what makes Freya cool cuz she can sing, dance, act, and do this. >> So, I did a lot of stunt training in the rehearsal period.

I do like a couple hours every day. But we learned a sequence and the day that I got on set, they were like, "Hey, so we've been practicing you fighting one person. we've actually changed our minds and now you're going to fight three guys.

I was like, "Okay. " So, I relearned a whole stunt sequence. And a lesson I learned is your duck cues are way more important than the actual doing it because if you forget to duck, you get hit.

But it was really fun. And now I watch it and I'm like, "Oh, yeah. It looks really cool.

" [Music] >> Yes. Effects. >> Sometimes it feels very silly doing what you're doing when there's no effect, you know?

I mean, I was literally just going like that. Oh, like doing this all weird stuff. And then you just got to tell yourself over and over again, they're going to put this together.

It's going to look cool. [Music] [Applause] >> This was very, >> very hard. >> Hard not to cry.

>> It was so hard not to pinch his wrist, >> dude. Oh, yeah. True.
