Are we talking about Addison's little dance break? Because >> that was pressure. You literally were like, >> uhhuh.
>> Chemistry maxing for real. >> Cool to be sitting here right now watching it. >> So cool.
>> Wait, where are we looking? >> I don't know. [Applause] [Music] >> Oh wow.
>> Wait, look at the poster. >> Wow. >> It smells like a movie theater in here.
>> I know. Oh my goodness. Watch.
Oh, can you pass me the blanket, please? Thank you. Oh, wow.
Thank you so much. >> You look great. >> Mark, >> I'm going to be like distracted by our faces in the corner.
>> Where are our faces? Oh, can we talk about how good I look in that picture? >> No.
Are we serious? Milks are so good. >> Me and Malachi are such snackers.
We learned this on Zombies 4. What's your like ideal movie night? If you're talking about like our New Zealand movie nights before I discovered that I was lactose intolerant.
>> Yeah, you would eat so much ice cream. >> I'm allergic to lactose. >> This is an ideal one for me.
An ideal movie night. I feel so cozy. >> Ready to start?
>> I think that's a great idea. I think that's a great idea. Can we cue the movie, please?
>> Woo! Woo! >> This was our reaction.
We were so Wait, I haven't seen that before. >> All right, here we go. Hi, I'm Zed.
Hi, I'm Red. It's >> so cool to see this. Oh, sorry.
>> I think you can say the exact same thing that I was cuz we weren't there when we filmed it. >> Yeah, it's so cool cuz I didn't see any of this stuff. >> I stopped by for a day.
Um, Legendary. I'm a little far. >> See, Brooke, football, hero, zombie.
>> That's all I saw from this time of filming. They're so good. >> They are.
>> Being on set with them and seeing like getting to like learn from them was a huge thing. [Music] >> Oh yeah. Oh yeah.
All of our vocals on that. Fun fact. >> Did you sing Did you sing that?
Oh yeah, >> I did. >> I sung that. Oh yeah.
>> So if you listen closely, >> you'll hear >> you will hear the whole entire cast of zombies for >> Were you guys zombies fans before? The first one came out when I was six or seven and I just loved it. Like someday was me and my dad's song.
I loved Mega Milo. So joining was even more surreal which I'm still trying to wrap my head around to be honest. [Music] [Applause] [Music] >> Going to miss you more than ever feel like it's >> summer by.
>> Oh yeah. Oh yeah. Great job.
>> Came back under my blanket. >> That was fun, guys. >> Wow.
The way y'all came for me, those vampires was really up. Go. >> Let's go.
[Music] >> We're the day walkers. >> We're the day walkers. Every time I hear that introduction, it like gives me goosebumps cuz I'm like that's the first time they ever hear us like sing.
Dancing on the sand is so hard. It's impossible. [Music] >> We come out underneath and never get tired of looking soaring way higher.
[Music] >> We had a like a blocked off five weeks of rehearsal before we started filming. I didn't have much dancing experience before this. Um, but it was also really fun because we had like some great dancers that were just super fun to be around.
So, we made the most of it. We had a lot of fun. [Music] >> I loved like the Romeo and Juliet type of thing that Victor and Nova have going on.
>> It's so cute. It wasn't even night when you shot this. I don't think it was like day and we're singing like at the sun.
So, we had to like learn techniques as to how to keep our eyes open when we're singing direct. Like, if you can see, like I'm squinting slightly. >> Yeah, >> I was going blind.
>> It was brutal. It looks dark, but that's literally just a filter. >> I like that moment.
[Music] Yo, chat. >> What do you think about your dancing compared to me and Milo? Did they give you any pointers?
>> I mean, I just think we showed up and we showed them up. >> Are you guys talking about us right now? >> Hello.
>> Hello. >> I mean, we just saw y'all having a watch party. >> Oh my god.
Did you go without us? >> Come say what's up. >> Please say we coming.
We coming. >> Okay. BRB.
BRB. >> That made me jump. >> Let's go.
>> What's up, team? We had to crash. Crash.
Hello. How you doing? >> How's it going?
How are you going to do your sweet today? Okay. I'm glad you got some popcorn.
Oh, you guys are getting comfy. >> Couch your special snack. >> What you guys do?
>> They got me Buenos. You guys, I'm okay. It's like a big thing right now that I'm obsessed with Buenos.
Did somebody special request grapes? >> Did you want some grapes? >> Yeah.
The grapes are flying, you guys. >> Okay. Hey, Hot.
Hey, guys, hear me out on this one. Frozen grapes are >> the best way. >> I'm kind of new to the grape wave.
>> Where are we at in the movie? >> Yeah. >> Yeah.
Are we literally just pulling up? We're just sliding in. >> You know, this was actually the first thing we shot.
This is the first thing we ever >> the first and I remember I was so nervous cuz you know first first thing to shoot having like our new five characters they're amazing in the second that we got to know them and uh the more time we spent with them the more secure we were in the fact that they were the perfect people to carry on this franchise. >> I'll teach you to mess with day walkers. >> Isn't this awesome?
>> I love this moment right here when Zed comes in. >> Was this the show? I literally >> I literally I look exactly like him.
Head counselor Zed reporting for duty. >> Is that you? >> Is that you?
>> No. You want to be a camp counselor? Just think.
>> Yeah, I do. I really >> I'm so grateful that Victor stood up for you. >> Same with Nova.
It's one of my favorite scenes. It's so cute. >> I do love this one.
>> This scene is so cute. I love that one. >> Wait, is that you guys?
>> Yeah. [Music] This was the first dance number we shot. >> You're right.
>> I think this movie more so than any of the other zombies movies, the dancers are like characters in this one. They're they're actually such a big part of this movie. >> This was like the first or second day.
[Music] >> I love the spinny thingies. >> Come on. You see Ila with that?
She said right after this, they throw all of them into the fire. That's the first clue. And so Drco was like, "Oh, you need these bet.
Let's do choreo around it. " >> I'm just loving revisiting all of these amazing people. Like these dancers really made the experience for us.
>> You really did. >> Yeah. [Music] >> That's right.
>> I remember face when I've never noticed that. You literally were like, "Wait, rewind. Rewind.
" >> You can barely see it right in the left corner. Oh my god. I >> One more.
Just stationation that please. I cannot believe that that's what I did. >> We picked up on that.
>> All right. But okay, first of all, method. We never stop.
All right. Like, >> no. Yeah.
>> I also probably didn't boo in the back of that shot. >> That is so good. I honestly really think that what's happening right there is I'm waiting for me to look at me and I was trying to like make her laugh or something.
I look actually more zombie like than I ever have in this whole franchise. [Music] >> Oh my party foul. I got Cookie all my pants.
>> Oh, happens, bro. Malachi was called Cookie Pants on set. >> Can we find some new pants?
>> Oh, you remember choreography on the first try? >> Is it two? >> This is easy.
>> Um >> cuz there's like I feel like there's two. >> I feel like there's three. I'm going to do three.
>> So, everybody but uh me >> kind of. Are you all ready? >> Sway.
>> Sway. Chandler. MK is what I said.
>> Oh, I went for one. >> All the hearts. >> Clearly, >> I had so much time.
>> One. Hey, hold up. >> I got a heart in there, too, for Chandley.
>> Sway and Chanley >> or Dancing with the Stars. We >> Let's get Sway on Dancing with the Stars so she can go avenge me and Chandler. >> Most likely to break out into songs.
>> I don't know if you guys are going to write this, but you're totally going to get it. Oh, nice. And >> I would I would say Julian when it comes to like random like Jim Croachy songs on the guitar.
True. He brings his guitar to settle. >> He'll randomly just start playing time in a bottle on set.
>> I know. It's true. Fre's a real life princess, so she really is like singing through her day.
>> Most likely to have the most unread text. >> Oh. >> Oh.
Hunter. >> Me/Mo. >> You know what?
I'll take that. And you know what? I I I've reflected on these answers and I'll try to do better.
You're so busy. Like, you're a busy guy. >> Yeah, but that's no excuse, Freya.
And also, how dare you, Freya? >> You caught up with my dog and stuff like that. >> My dog.
My dog. >> Yo, shout out my dog. Come on.
>> Is that a pencil? >> This scene was so difficult. >> Oh my goodness.
>> Cuz I had to work alongside Malachi. >> Well, that and also I couldn't hit my mark and we had a sandbag and I tripped. You know what took me way too long to realize about that scene is that it's technically a wooden steak and you're a vampire.
>> Oh my god. >> I I literally just figured that out. I thought she was just being cool with a pencil, but it's like so much more.
>> A bunch of cuties out there. >> So much. Also, they rehearsed this like when we rehearse songs a lot of the times it's in front of everybody like all the dancers, all of the cast, which is like daunting at times, but they were running through dream come true and every single dancer was sobbing.
So, including me, >> it was one of the first moments that we really had together that was like where we kind of have our own moment. It was really fun and and we also knew that this scene led into dream come true. So, we were just really excited that like >> this is the introduction to the Romeo and Juliet.
I have really high hopes that the world is going to love this song just as much as we do. So, but just thinking about someday and everything that has brought us and knowing that we're at the start of the journey for this song is it's cool to be sitting here right now watching it. >> So cool.
[Music] >> We filmed this in harness, but we basically we would have like these ramps that we would run up and jump as if we were about to like take flight. And then this was all real. Like we were actually on this stunning mountain.
>> That shot is so beautiful. Oh my gosh. >> Yeah.
I love this one right here. Oh, >> that's so fire. So fire situation.
>> Let's go. Vocals. >> Hey, it's so good.
>> The song makes you want to fly in a field in New Zealand and that's exactly what they did. And like that's what it's so satisfying. >> Literally coming from deep underground.
>> We can't risk us all getting sick. I'll go. >> How?
>> I think you're about to start rapping right now. >> Familiar with this whole Let's take a swing. >> Oh, [Music] you can't see the light.
>> What's interesting is my audition for Zombies, there was a lot of rapping involved. I thought it was going to be like a very rapheavy franchise, but then we really struck the balance. I think we have like a good little rap moment in every movie.
>> Shout out I'm winning from Zombies 2. >> Where was this? >> Oh, a lot of sheep around these parts.
>> I remember that. >> Of course. [Music] >> I can hear Paul behind the camera like you're more concerned.
You're more concerned [Music] >> was actually the last last last shot ever. >> Oh, that's so true. We were all gathered around.
>> Mhm. And they just went sting and we were like, >> there was a guy cranking a rope. >> But see, you got to incorporate those in there.
Now you are. >> No. Are we talking about Addison's little dance break?
Because >> because that is my favorite moment this whole movie. >> No, it's so hype. >> Jud is like in full danger and Addison just takes one moment to just eat for some reason.
>> But it's like the stank. Yeah, I know. She just Yeah, [Music] >> I'm literally dying.
Girl, >> y'all should be running. Yes, >> I'm determined [Music] >> when we're zombieing out, you know, you see that we have all these veins and whatnot and red eyes or whatever it is. And obviously that's not really happening when we're doing it on set.
So, you kind of have to just like go all out and forget that you look really insane. And I've always loved physical comedy and like watching Jim Carrey growing up. So, I was always ready to do all that weird stuff, but then they make it look cool.
Y >> proud of us. >> Get everyone cheering. >> Shouts out.
>> We say monster kind. >> We say monster kind again. >> No, you didn't.
>> You want to go first? >> Okay. Shall I?
>> Yeah. >> Should I do it? Should I pick a word?
>> Should I pick one? Okay. >> What was your favorite dance to learn from Zombies 4?
I think like a very exciting moment I had was hopping into um place to be for the first time. Frizzy and all the other day walkers had already learned their section where they're kind of like showing me the ropes and what I had to do was very easy. So I came in late and they were just like just walk with them.
But I hopped in there and I felt their vibes all around me. People were doing flips and whatnot. It was the first time that like we were dancing together as well.
So that was just a really nice moment. It's one of those hype days that you have in the rehearsal space. Thank you so much.
>> What do you do on days when you aren't filming? >> Well, I Oh, in New Zealand, I would walk like 40 minutes to this cafe called Queenies. >> I know exactly what you're talking about.
>> That was so good. >> Yeah. Yeah.
Yeah. Yeah. Yeah.
That place is gas. >> That place is gas. And then hang out with the cast.
We did a lot of game nights. A lot of gaming. Um, what else would we do?
Chandler and I would girl boss. We signed up for this cafe called 03. It was like this library thing.
That's like place. >> Oh, that place is quite go. >> Um, and so we girl bossed a lot, which means just responding to texts >> and um >> and emails and stuff like that.
We went to a lot of concerts. >> We saw the Jonas Brothers. We saw Siza.
We saw Jungle. >> I'll feel it when I get it. >> Uh, I went to go see Fred again.
And who was the last person we saw? >> Heavy. >> Blink 182.
>> Blink182. We did We did what? Sizza and Pink.
Pink was so fun. >> Wait, do you have your phone? >> Yeah, >> I I do want to show this.
>> Is it importable now? >> I just sent it the other day. I sent this Sunday at 8:37 a.
m. It's a blurry picture of Pink flying at her concert. Sometimes when we just need a pickme up, we'll just like throw a pink pick in there.
>> Our group chat with the whole cast is called Portable Not cuz that's when MK puts on glasses and he's like, "Portable not. " >> And then Kobe's like, "Yeah, bro. Bro, bro.
Yeah, bro. >> How did you find out you were cast in Z4? It was like maybe 2:00 a.
m. I was in bed. I had like hair masking, pimple patches on.
My parents ran into my room and then they told me and it was so crazy. My parents filmed it, too. And I was like, I don't know if that footage will ever see the light of day cuz my reaction was like >> I did see the video and it's very very cute.
And obviously she cares very deeply about this franchise, but I don't think that video will ever see the light of day. >> I was very excited. But yeah, I was crying and yeah, I was just so happy.
And then I stayed up all night just listening to zombie songs. Um, but yeah, it was a great it was a really really great day. >> What would be your advice for people trying to break into the business?
any specific dance or vocal lessons? I would say honestly just put yourself out there. I I think that oftent times there you can let the nose get to you.
Um I know that I have and it's just kind of part of it. Also honorable mention is when you are in this business don't listen like other people's opinions. People are going to think what they want to think and you know haters going to hate.
So >> baby, [Music] >> it feels like forever since we were your age. We're passing you the torch. So don'tesitate.
[Music] >> When we talk about passing the torch and we talk about these new heroes hopping into the story, I don't think there was a day that that was resonating more than this moment right here. We were definitely all four of us really locked in in this moment. >> I remember that that song so high and we were singing it >> and we're trying so hard not to be >> lucky.
I was trying to teach a lesson that is you don't have to sound good when you're really doing it. You just got to look like you're really singing it. >> Going for it.
>> So in this moment here specifically, >> I'm so off key in real life, but I just like tried to make it look like we were singing, but honestly that's probably tough for them not to >> Oh, w handhold. W. They were so excited when they're like, "What if we pan down and we see them hold hands?
" >> Also, I clocked that this is from their visions. >> Oh, this was the vision. >> They're both hooded in your vision.
>> Oh my god, you're right. >> Your guys' visions were y'all saving the day. >> I didn't even think of that, dude.
[Music] Step away from the stone and no one gets hurt. >> Okay, this is what makes Freya cool cuz she can sing, dance, act, and do this. >> So, I did a lot of stunt training in the rehearsal period.
I do like a couple hours every day. But we learned a sequence and the day that I got on set, they were like, "Hey, so we've been practicing you fighting one person. we've actually changed our minds and now you're going to fight three guys.
I was like, "Okay. " So, I relearned a whole stunt sequence. And a lesson I learned is your duck cues are way more important than the actual doing it because if you forget to duck, you get hit.
But it was really fun. And now I watch it and I'm like, "Oh, yeah. It looks really cool.
" [Music] >> Yes. Effects. >> Sometimes it feels very silly doing what you're doing when there's no effect, you know?
I mean, I was literally just going like that. Oh, like doing this all weird stuff. And then you just got to tell yourself over and over again, they're going to put this together.
It's going to look cool. [Music] [Applause] >> This was very, >> very hard. >> Hard not to cry.
>> Yeah. >> Okay. Okay.
>> It was so hard not to pinch his wrist, >> dude. Oh, yeah. True.
That happened. [Music] Oh, we killed them. >> It's so good.
>> I didn't think it could get any sadder than what it was in Zombies 3 and somehow it got sadder. >> I know. Seriously, >> so I have an idea.
>> Is it Let's Forget about our camps. >> Read my mind. >> Look at how beautiful this day was.
There's really no blue and green and then we're blue and green. Come on. We're one with the world.
>> It was like completely cloudy >> like and gloomy and then we started to film and the clouds literally opened up. >> Fool you. No way.
Just like that. Like look at those mountains. What?
>> I know. This is real you guys. Not green screen.
This is real. >> Megan and I one of our first things we bonded on when we first met each other in the audition room was that we both tapped. >> That's why we did a tiny bit in Someday.
The first >> we did some like soft shoe in Someday. I think Drco knew that and he was like, "Let's get a cute little tap moment for y'all. Fred and Ginger vibes.
" [Music] >> Hey. Hey. >> This just feels so different than the other zombies movies.
>> Yeah. Also, the lift into the kiss is just >> I know. They killed.
They killed. >> Look. Look how pretty.
>> You're an angel. >> It's so cute. >> Yeah.
>> You didn't even get any of my makeup on your face. hang out again soon. >> Yeah, soon.
I promise. >> See you. >> The run back always makes me laugh.
>> It's so cute. And the way like they had to make it a hug so like you could see both of our faces. >> I think it being a hug at the end is just so it's like so much more innocent and smooth.
>> We didn't get a kiss to the second movie. So true. So we'll get might have to wait.
We might have to wait for almost. >> Oh. What is that?
>> Wa. [Music] >> Crazy. Crazy.
>> That looks legit. >> Wa. >> Come on.
Wow. Oh, really good movie, you guys. Proud of us.
I know. I'm proud of you guys. I really enjoyed watching this with you guys.
And >> hey, I had a great time. >> We need to take this for ourselves. We can split it.
>> We can cut it. >> Don't tell anybody. >> Aside.
Sorry. Like thank you.
