North Korean troops deployed in KK have finally entered combat and have already suffered their first casualties this is the information being passed on by both us and Ukrainian intelligence Services we do assess that North Korean soldiers have engaged in combat in KK with Russia alongside Russian forces we do have indications that they have suffered casualties both killed and wounded president zeny has even shown pictures of these soldiers and this has caused us here on visual politic to ask a few questions to what extent could North Korean soldiers turn the tide of the war that seems
to be on its last legs what exactly is Vladimir Putin using them for what combat capabilities do they really have and perhaps the most important question of all how is it possible that still 50% of the people who are watching us are not yet subscribed to visual politic all you have to do is click on the button and hit that little bell and that's it that's all in just a few seconds you'll be all set to receive updates of the videos we publish so that you could be the first to see them and to evaluate
if this is or not the topic that you are interested in in just one second by simply clicking but now let's get down to what's happening with the North Korean soldiers in [Music] Ukraine look at these images what you are seeing are North Korean soldiers in Putin's service advancing on the KK front they're doing it without proper camouflage in the snow following 70-year-old War tactics not surprisingly that makes them a perfect Target for Ukrainian forces this leads many experts to suggest that the percentage of casualties suffered by the soldiers will be very high some even
point to the outrageous figure of over 90% Easy Come Easy Easy Go visual politic Community what you're seeing is the harsh reality of what has become popularly known as mother Russia's meat grinder that is the strategy followed by the Russian leaders of sending poorly equipped and ill-prepared soldiers one after the other to an almost certain death and now the North Koreans are part of this Carnage that we could summarize in a single sentence lots of casualties in exchange for breaking through and let me tell you this time many of these soldiers will not even be
Russian from now on we'll also see at least on the KK front many of the estimated 12,000 troops that Kim Jong-un has already sent and the thing is is that in the last few days these soldiers invited to the war are beginning to realize this is no easy gig that's to say they're receiving very hard blows why well think about it if the Russian army has already been having serious Readiness and Supply problems practically since the invasion was launched imagine what could happen from now on with the North Korean troops because let's see this is
probably one of the most Delirious acts Carry Out by this kind of big wig Club to which both Vladimir Putin and Kim Jong-un belong why do I say such a thing basically because we talking about sending soldiers to the front without any kind of preparation and in conditions that border on delirium but in order to understand what is going on the first thing we need to do is to get familiar with the context well as you all know the quick Invasion that Putin had in mind in February 2022 when his plans included taking the Ukrainian
capital in just a few hours and then reclaiming control of the country turned into a very harsh War of Attrition that is now in its third year this is something you all know well the Russian military on which the government had been spending tons of money for years to modernize and to which also had been preparing for such an operation for some time started to suffer unspeakably in Ukraine to give you an idea according to Ukrainian sources the Russian military has suffered more than 730,000 casualties since the outbreak of the conflict a figure that Washington
estimates lower at 500,000 nevertheless it's still an outrageous figure even if the actual figure were I don't know half the us estimate it would still be crazy and that's not all along the way Russia has lost thousands and thousands of artillery systems tanks and armored vehicles and if this has happened to the Russian army imagine what the estimated 12,000 troops that pongyang is estimated to have sent to fight against Ukraine could suffer you can expect the worst because of course North Korea is not only much much poorer than Russia as we will see when it
comes down to it its combat capability is probably reminiscent of armies from 50 60 or even 70 years ago but the point is that given the huge casualties Russia suffered and especially after the Ukrainian Army's invasion of KK Putin needed help he needed ammunition weapons and also more troops to keep feeding his meat grinder that is to maintain his offensive and open new fronts well this is exactly where North Korea comes [Applause] in on the 19th of June 2024 the latest Russian Zar made a very important visit to Pyongyang it was the first in a
very very long time specifically in 24 years because the truth is that since Putin made a fleeting visit to pongyang in 2000 he had never returned it stands for reason that poor and I mean really poor wretched North Korea was far from being a priority for Moscow but now that has completely changed in June Putin went to look for ammunition missiles and also fresh troops in case they were needed to keep up his War because although communist Korea is terribly poor it's also a kind of Sparta with an absurdly old but absurdly disproportionate Army in
fact its armed forces are by far the main item of expenditure of the North Korean government visual politics Community the obsession of the regime means that they have 1.3 million active soldiers and another 7.6 million more troops in reserve we are therefore talking about a total of 8.9 million people with some military training who could be mobilized an outrage for a country whose population barely exceeds 25 million inhabitants in other words a kind of old-fashioned Sparta in the 21st century but the point is that Putin's visit was a success both governments agreed to a cooperative
defense pack that obliges each side to support the other with military assistance if the other is attacked in other words their own version of NATO Article 5 once more Russia pledged to give North Korea technology Fuel and supplies of all kinds in exchange for red Korea sending the millions of howitzers and hundreds of missiles and as I said the door was also left open that in the future pongyang could support the Russian effort directly with ground troops and this in a way marked a real turning point or at least it made things a lot easier
for Moscow North Korean assistance has been vital for Russian Artillery for example to continue operating at full strength in fact remember here on visual politic how we told you that Russia has been pushing hard and gaining ground for months now well this has a lot to do with this help without it the Kremlin would surely already be dealing with severe restrictions on the use of artillery due to lack of ammunition in any case the important thing is that this is how the new Russian North Korean Alliance came about and there's even more the mutual defense
pact that Putin and Kim Jong-un signed in June soon came into action [Music] as you will remember less than two months later on 6th of August Ukraine launched its unexpected invasion of Russia's Cur or blast prompting Putin to request military assistance from its new best friend what support are we talking about according to us intelligence estimates North Korea as well as continuing to send lots of weapons and ammunition has also deployed to Russia between 11,000 and 12,000 troops who after being equipped with Russian uniforms and weapons were immediately sent one after the other to kers
this information was confirmed by President zalinski himself currently there are already 11,000 North Koreans stationed in the K region first they arrived with the aim of strengthening the Russian defense lines and in recent days as we have already seen they have also joined the offensives that are trying to regain lost ground in this region of Russia and this is exactly how we came to the images we saw at the beginning of this video but let me repeat the question we asked before what impact could this support have what role could North Korean soldiers play in
this conflict we're going to look at that right now and you know what I'm telling you some alarm Bells may be about to go [Music] off tragic but [Music] true I'm going to be very clear this whole deployment of North Korean soldiers in Russia is sure to make Kim Jong-un feel very powerful but the truth is that everything indicates that these soldiers are neither prepared for this Mission nor does it make much sense because War Games military Authority and parades before the great leader are one thing and real war is something else entirely and even
more so a war as Savage as the current conflict in Ukraine from what we're seeing the troops sent by Kim jongan don't seem particularly well trained nor do they have much experience with Russian equipment they're not using Advanced Equipment and naturally have serious communication problems right now they have the mission of fighting alongside Russian units with which they can't even communicate and that in Modern Warfare is a problem and this is no longer about arrows Spears and swords communication is vital both on the Battlefront and in the formation itself in fact videos have been distributed
of North Korean soldiers where we can clearly see that they are more lost than an octopus in a garage when Russian officers address them and now you might be wondering but let's see let's see that's an easy solution isn't it you just look for translators and the problem is solved and yes that is probably what they're doing but visual politic community at this point I'm going to ask you to reflect with me if Russian officials care little or nothing about their own soldiers who are forced to carry out attacks in the open field with an
absolutely abysmal casualty rate in order to saturate and uncover the Ukrainian defenses do you think they're going to Care much about what happens to the North Koreans clearly not I'm going to be blunt but the truth is that with the information we have I cannot say otherwise surely from their point of view from the point of view of the Russian leaders these units have only one mission to serve as cannon fodder and that is what explains why we have seen videos of formations in Russian to soldiers who do not speak a word of this language
and it could also explain this image everything indicates that this Soldier you're seeing on the screen is a North Korean soldier in kers well if you look closely this Soldier is wearing a uniform with digital Flora camouflage a type of uniform that the Russian army had to start withdrawing because let's just say it's basically turned its soldiers into real Walking targets especially in snowy environments as there is now in Ukraine the Russians know this and yet it seems to be the uniform they are giving to the North Koreans crazy but poor training and the language
barriers are not the only problems facing North Korean soldiers another important Gap they have is combat experience North Korean troops and their officers have simply never participated in a real war or anything like it which logically makes them far behind the Russians just think the last time they engaged in real Combat in a foreign country was the Vietnam War and look how much time has passed since then that's why hun xung Lee a former member of North Korea's storm Corps the country's supposedly Elite group of soldiers is saying that his comrades don't have a bright
future ahead of them that the training they receive at home is really very scarce and that on top of that it is always very conditioned or rather limited by equipment problems for example North Korean units are not trained to fight at night nor to deal with drone strikes Precision artillery or anything like that and besides don't forget that both the Russians and the ukrainians have been learning and evolving a lot in these almost 3 years of war but now pyongyang's porns are starting from scratch against much more refined officers soldiers and strateg G in other
words a disaster now bad training language barriers bad equipment and no experience the outcome make no mistake we can expect a huge percentage of casualties in fact it's possible very possible as we've already said that this is precisely their mission to lead suicide raids to uncover the Ukrainian defenses so that the more experienced Russians can then attack shall we say with better odds none would think they're going to Russia to die but I think they're cannon fodder because they will be sent to the most dangerous sites and will surely be killed terrible chilling the deployment
of North Korean soldiers is yet another proof that neither the Russian Zar nor the je bigwig care in the least about the young people they send to die and let's see naturally the justification for them is very straightforward we're helping our allies our soldiers are being trained we will test new weapons etc etc etc the reality is that most of the North Korean Center Russia are likely to soon become casualties in the dispute uted and icy lands of K but do you think we've seen it all well you would be very wrong the North Korean
troop deployment in KK has even more problems starting with the fact that the soldiers of this country are discovering a level of Freedom absolutely unprecedented at home for example access to the internet something completely new to them and what are they doing can you guess well according to some reports it seems that they're taking advantage of this time to Gorge themselves on x-ray content and the like a usually reliable source tells me that North Korean soldiers who have deployed to Russia have never had unfettered access to the internet as a result they Gorge themselves on
pornography and let's see what's wrong with this well nothing there would be absolutely nothing wrong with it if it weren't for the fact that the soldiers are racing against the clock to try to prepare for combat and they're not doing it let's go on another problem has to do with the morale of the troops let me explain South Korean intelligence Services say that Russia is likely to pay the non-north Korean regime about $2,000 a month for each Soldier deployed to fight Ukraine this is a lot of money for a country where wages are truly miserable
however the problem the real problem is that the soldiers are not going to see any of this money they're not going to be compensated because that's simply the way the North Korean regime works all the money goes to them that means it's highly likely that soon the discouragement will be generalized think about it these soldiers are fighting with without preparation they aren't able to communicate they do not aspire to a better life it's not a war to defend their own country their families or their culture nothing at all so how the hell can they motivate
themselves as soon as they start taking heavy casualties it is very possible that their spirits will collapse and believe me the ukrainians know it so what are they doing nothing less than flooding the front with propaganda and messages promising North Korean soldiers Freedom if they surrender and the truth it wouldn't be at all unusual for it to happen and for us to start seeing defections indeed there have already been some desertions among soldiers stationed near the Ukrainian border when their participation in the war had just begun and if they don't occur in greater numbers it's
probably due to the threat that the pongyang regime exerts on their families in other words if you defect your parents your siblings your children whoever are going to pay clearly for it are going to pay dearly for it these are North Korea's so-called generational punishments and are applied particularly to all workers who have contact with foreigners but of course the situation is so disastrous that according to the South Korean newspaper Hank yor a few weeks ago the first desertions occurred basically because a group of Korean soldiers were abandoned for days without food or instructions or
anything else the Russians have forgotten about them the result of everything we are seeing well the North Koreans are probably by far the least combat capable troops in this entire war and that is precisely why Moscow is thinking of using them as cannon fodder in fact both the US and Ukrainian forecasts indicate that at least 90% of these troops will be discharged in the coming months now having said that the question is they are already engaging in combat so what is actually happening well our theory is being confirmed that in the first encounters between Ukrainian
soldiers and North Korean Soldiers the latter have come off very badly North Korean troops suffer several hundred casualties fighting Ukraine says Us official anyway that's the way things stand the question now is what conclusions can we draw from everything we have seen in this video well first that this North Korean deployment will actually have little impact on the war it will end sooner or later visual politic Community if in a past video here on visual politic we told you that the green lights to use longrange air to ground missiles or attack thems in Russia would
change little about the war the truth is that the presence of these soldiers will probably be even much more insignificant the long awaited Koreans their tactics are a mix of weakness and bravery they don't rely on drones and carry weapons as if they're Mosen Nagant rifles it seems they're using the same strategies as 70 years ago many will die the question question is who will run out first are ammunition and drones or their infantry secondly this could change if many more North Korean units were deployed but would Kim Jong-un really be willing to accept such
a large sacrifice for no known reason because let's see 10,000 casualties may go unnoticed at home but 90,000 or 100,000 and the truth is that even such a deployment would probably not make a major difference and third as we have seen don't expect these to be the most motivated soldiers in the world it's likely that as they begin to take casualties and understand how much worse they are treated than their Russian Partners their spirits will eventually collapse so there you have it Ukraine is having a hard time Russia is having a hard time now with
Trump the war may be about to end but whatever the case don't expect North Korean soldiers to change the situation much for now in fact it's quite possible that they will Faire very badly Kim jong-un's deployment is nothing but Bluster a move with little military value and one that is going to condemn his own soldiers to Carnage terrible but now the question is over to you and this time I'm going to be very clear how and when do you think this damn war will end leave us your thoughts in the comments and let's start a
debate and if you found this video interesting don't forget to like And subscribe to visual politic thank you very much for watching all the best see you soon
