this typical Exorcist manga similar to a ripoff of jiu Jutsu Kaizen or Blue Exorcist is the bomb an overpowered young boy who is an exorcist can defeat a demon king in just two minus three pages unlike others that take entire Seasons like jiu Jutsu Kaizen despite his immense power he doesn't even realize it and comes across as a scaredy cat much like zenitsu however when it comes to fighting and protecting others he's always there to save the day will he become the greatest Exorcist in all of anime or Manga let's find out the story starts
off with a boy in all black covered in tattoos his name is Kyoshi heri an expert in exorcism thanks to his abilities he was a valedictorian and one of the youngest to ever graduate from The Exorcist Academy he's 16 years old and has received his very first assignment however he was a scaredy cat and we see here a spooky ghost appearing in front of him Kyoshi is a smug boy remembering what he said to the client that he would take care of the problem in seconds but it has been 3 hours now although he managed
to maintain his calm State he now feels that he is reaching his limits with the only thing he had going for him being the terror he'd felt now squeezed out of him even though he is scared he still taunts the ghost with his only weapon driven by fear he had been able to project an aura of superiority and now he is starting to think that it will falter soon hours or more have passed and the ghost is starting to make an anxious face while our hero really wants to pee real bad it turns out that
it wasn't actually a ghost but a kind cute girl who got possessed by a demon suddenly that possessed girl noticed something and asked Koshi could it be you're scared and now Koshi knows that it is over the demon admits that floating is a bit tiring as she remembers that Koshi told her to bring it the demon asks if Koshi is just bluffing so she tested this by pretending to hit him and kioshi flinched and was scared now the demon is laughing and smiling as she says I can't believe I'm right what a pathetic Exorcist the
demon asks kioshi why he bothered coming knowing that an exor shouldn't be afraid of demons the demon tells Koshi he is a fraud and a joke as the monster is about to attack kyoshi's toughness and confidence are lost as he cries like a little baby saying you don't have to be so mean this shocks The Ghost and surprises her the demon even feels bad for scaring him while Kyoshi is whining and crying admitting that his tension has broken and he can't stop crying the demon felt really bad about that asking why Koshi continued to be
an exorcist and suggesting he should have just quit and lived a normal life but Koshi knows that it is hard and shows his tattoo explaining that his tattoo is an evil Waring tattoo because of his tattoo he can't even get a normal decent job knowing that there is no taking back his tattoo which made the demon feel sad for him she even Comforts him saying his tattoos are somewhat okay making Koshi happy with what the demon said the demon then notices a tattoo on Koshi and asks its meaning our boy responds that it is called
666 or the devil's number he then says it's iron IC a kind of challenge like you know telling demons to come and get some it is pretty cringe though however the demon sees that it's not triple six but Triple 7 making Koshi feel bad about that and even the demon feels bad for pointing it out now Kyoshi is beating himself up because of that and the demon stops him saying that self harming is wrong minutes later the demon gets out and unpossess the little girl as it turns out the demon looks like a salary old
man with a really kind face they sit on the couch and have a decent Talk Like Father and Son the demon smiling like a kind old man says to Koshi that life is full of surprises the demon also sigh with frustration about how tough his life at work is making Koshi surprised to learn about that but as they were talking the old salary demon man didn't realize he had gotten out of the girl surprising Kyoshi who handled the situation in a licky split the demon didn't get mad at all instead he was surprised and said
you know if you weren't such a scaredy cat you'd be a real strong Exorcist Koshi responds that he has the title and is called the ultimate Exorcist making the old man surprised Koshi notices that the demon isn't really a bad guy which makes him feel relaxed and not scared anymore he even learns that not all demons are evil and some are kind like this demon as The Little Girl drops her blanket the kind demon fixes it showing that he is truly one of a kind he even tells the truth that he doesn't really want to
do evil things after fixing the little girl's blanket the demon introduces him himself to Koshi his name is Yamada working in the demon realm's Department of water sources and was in charge of the bureau this surprised Koshi that there is such a thing Yamada tells him that there is and it is just the same as on Earth but when Yamada arrived he received a message from the great Demon Lord named Meo ordering him to go to the surface just to possess the girl to all demons it is kind of an honor and everyone was so
jealous because they also wanted to kill a human on the surface however Yamada didn't care the most important thing to him is a life where he can go home to his family living as a normal demon in that realm the Yamada gravels down with despair telling a story about his eldest son just starting Junior High and still having 30000 years left on his home loan he then asks Kyoshi why he became an exorcist kioshi remembers the past when he was just a little boy his parents were killed by a demon now Yamada realizes why Kyoshi
is scared caused by this trauma he asks Koshi if this is because of Revenge our boy responds that he doesn't want anyone else to go through his past and that's why he became an exorcist he says with a wish the kind of Exorcist who can protect people from any demon he remembers his training and studies and all he has gone through he knows it will be a rocky road to achieve his goal training inch by inch of his life mastering his overwhelming powers and becoming an exorcist but in the end he couldn't train his heart
and couldn't overcome his fear he feels down thinking he will never become a good Exorcist Yamada stands there speechless at what kioshi said then later he asks if Koshi is sure of that but Koshi doesn't understand what Yamada said so he says if you were my son I'd be very proud of you you face your fears and try your best you've got what it takes to protect others and that's not an easy thing to achieve the Amada assures him and is a very supportive demon saying he doesn't need to worry with just a tiny bit
of Courage he can do it this makes Kyoshi feel really good about this kind demon with encouragement and support Yamada says when you're scared try taking deep breath so the two of them take deep breaths with Yamada giving fatherly advice Yamada feels a little embarrassed saying it's just a calming ritual that helps a whole bunch Koshi agrees saying that deep breathing is the best thing making Yamada glad Koshi cannot help but smile admiring Yamada as a really good father he wonders if his dad were alive he'd be like Yamada the best father one could have
Yamada can't help but blush asking what he was talking about with that the kind demon Yamada opens his arms now ready to be exercised this shocks kioshi and he feels sad about what this old man said Yamada explains not to misunderstand as this wasn't pity knowing that sooner or later a low-ranking demon like him would be exercised by someone in kyoshi's company in that case he'd rather be Kyoshi who would do it even as the first step toward his goal a demon with a kind and fatherly Soul makes Koshi cry unable to exercise him this
shocks Yamada who wants him to do it as this is the job of an exorcist Koshi says but if demons are monsters who harm humans there isn't any demon here Kyoshi stands up and tells Yamada to go home quickly he then Smiles brightly with a warm smile on his face saying say hi to your son for me okay this makes Yamada cry as he cannot stop his eyes from leaking at his age while Koshi will just tell his clients that the demon has been exercised Yamada then apologizes to Koshi for doing a bad thing to
the little girl by possessing her for 3 hours Koshi agrees as he also had a wrong part in that as well then suddenly a black Evil Goat appears this confuses our boy about what the animal is doing there but on the other hand yamama is shocked to see the goat shaking with fear and wondering what it is doing then suddenly Thunder comes from the sky and the goat's Shadow forms a demonic face the black goat with an evil Aura tells them to kneel then a dark lightning comes out summoning a greater demon yamat realizes that
the demon has come because the girl's highquality Soul which is resistant to Demons is after that little girl hioshi now understands what Yamada meant knowing that the Demon Lord Meo has appeared Meo speaks I can only stay for 10 minutes or so but now that I'm here it' be boring to only claim a young girl's life I might as well wipe out everyone nearby as well with his plan he rushes toward Koshi wanting to start with an aggravating Exorcist but as he looks closer at kioshi he passes out on his feet Neo then considers Koshi
a pathetic human and dismisses Yamada knowing that he has has no power to attack The Demon King he just walks away and while walking he cannot believe he is offering support to an exorcist whatever happens to Koshi is none of his business and he returns to his family and when Koshi was about to die from the shadow attack Yamada remembers kyoshi's words to say hi to his son for him he doesn't want Koshi to die and with that Yamada kicks our boy's face waking him up he screams with nervousness and encouragement aren't you supposed to
become an exorcist who can protect people from any demon Meo The Demon King is surprised that a low-level demon comes to save The Exorcist asking what he is doing the Amada trembles and shivers from Fear unable to answer Neo then tells him that killing exorcists is a demon's cause Yamada responds with fear saying that he may be a demon but he is a father with courage acting as a great father Yamada tells Meo that if he leaves Kyoshi to die he won't be able to face his son with his head held high The Demon King
sees Yamada as a defect and with a flick of his finger turns our poor Yamada into Gojo saddle Ru Mito believes yamada's ideology is vulgar and now plans to purge his entire lineage as well Koshi sees what happened to Yamada and his trauma resurfaces reminding him of what he went through when he was young kneeling with fear he questions why he became an exorcist in the first place to drive out demons he trained to protect others in tears he wants to move but with mixed emotions and being out of control he doesn't know what to
do then Yamada Taps him still encouraging ing Koshi like a great father on the verge of death he tells Koshi that he is going to be okay and that if anyone can do it it's him even in death Yamada Smiles encouraging Koshi to take deep breaths and that he will be okay Koshi in tears is moved by yamada's actions however behind him Meo is ready to kill our boy Meo Unleashed a shadow beam that sliced through the house with chilling Precision confident that it was over he sneered humans are so fragile I can never get
used to it not even a trace remain he then moved towards the little girl his primary target but to his surprise he saw a boy with a tattooed trip 7 on his back the boy grabbed the beam with his bare hands and crushed it effortlessly in a split second this stunned the Demon Lord who was shocked to see his powerful skill defeated so easily Yamada watched in disbelief his eyes wide as he saw the boy's body seemingly absorb the attack with ease much like the legendary Gojo Koshi taking yamada's advice to Heart took a deep
breath and exhaled slowly he thank Yamada finally realizing that despite knowing it all along the true horror was not the demon itself but the fear of losing someone precious with a determined look he faced Meo and declared bring it I'm going to exercise the hell out of you Meo Meo merely laughed dismissing kyoshi's words as the arrogance of Youth he then conjured a massive ominous sphere known as the triple black ball undeterred Koshi turned to Yamada instructing him to keep an eye on the girl his tattoo began to Glow with a fierce energy as he
ready himself leave it to me hioshi said activating his power Moonrise Kingdom he formed a finger gun and fired a tiny concentrated light ball named the emis shot the shot pierced through the formidable triple black ball and struck Meo directly in the head bmo's head disintegrated but regenerated immediately however after regaining his head our boy didn't hesitate to pull out another skill called Hades and mito's body was easily disintegrated Yamada while taking care of the little girl couldn't believe that Koshi was defeating Meo he wondered if Koshi was telling the truth about being the strongest
Exorcist ever but then again mito's body regenerated quickly instead of getting mad or terrified Meo was in awe and chuckled admitting that he liked it saying he had made a fool of himself and now wanted to see what Koshi could do but moments later he realized something Koshi was too strong to handle he knew our boy was rapidly blasting apart in just seconds realizing that kyoshi's power was too overpowered with a life of over 5 500 years he had never seen a boy with such powerful Exorcist skills before now he wondered where kyoshi's strength came
from Meo then screamed intimidatingly I Reign at the apex of the demon realm I am the Demon Lord Meo but Kyoshi wasn't even intimidated he just prepared his ultimate skill called Fiat Lux four sides of Moon Tattoos appeared around Meo forming a Holy Cross while performing his skill Kyoshi told the Demon Lord it doesn't matter if you're a Demon Lord no matter what demons come my way I'll keep protecting others he shouted that while performing a cross sign with his hand showing his forearm tattoos the Demon Lord was utterly annihilated leaving no Trace behind the
family of the little girl was safe and sound their ordeal over despite the destruction of their home kyoshi's company was already on site working diligently to repair the damage meanwhile Yamada and kioshi sat on a bench sharing a moment of quiet reflection Koshi still concerned for Yamada asked if he would be okay back in his realm after defying a Demon Lord yamat reassured him with a casual shrug explaining that demons were generally cool with that kind of stuff it was all part of the job he said with a grin despite the levity Yamada couldn't help
but Marvel at kyoshi's Incredible strength he was still processing the fact that Koshi had defeated Meo one of the 13 demon Lords in their realm yamada's expression grew serious as he warned kioshi that the other demon Lords would not take this defeat lightly they would surely seek revenge targeting kyoshi's life life however Yamada wasn't frightened he was determined to figure out a plan and reassured Koshi that even if he felt scared or overwhelmed he should remember to take slow deep breaths a technique Yamada himself had used in difficult times the concern in yamada's voice was
fatherly and he couldn't help but laugh with pride telling Kyoshi that he had the spirit of a true warrior this moment of camaraderie was a stark contrast to the earlier tension and it was clear that Yamada held Koshi in high regard as Koshi walked away from the scene he was in conversation with the higher ups an important man approached apologizing for the unforeseen appearance of a Demon Lord and acknowledging kyoshi's bravery in facing such a formidable opponent Koshi with his characteristic composure assured the man that it was all part of the job the old man's
Pride was evident reflecting his admiration for kyoshi's unwavering confidence with the situation resolved Koshi accepted his assignment to Naraku City pleased to see a hot spring that welcomed people with tattoos it was a small but comforting detail adding a touch of normaly to his otherwise intense life and so concluded the tale of Kyoshi herai the trip 7 tattooed on his back was a mark of his Readiness to confront any demon that threatened Humanity he was not just an exorcist Prodigy but the strongest Exorcist ever seen with his bloody Feud Now set into motion kyoshi's Journey
had only just begun the scene shifts to the momento Forest Cathedral the headquarters of the exorcists inside the Headmaster stood before a group of newly graduated exorcists ready to address them with an air of authority he delivered his speech rally against fear with courage for it is worth a thousand Shields to all of you our new exorcists may you go with God's protection the newly graduated exorcists who had successfully completed their rigorous training were now about to receive their assignments these postings were assigned based on their skills as No Exorcist had the luxury of choosing
their own assignments except for one exceptional case the Headmaster then made a special announcement the boy who had graduated at the top of his class and had even defeated the Demon Lord Meo was none other than Kyoshi herai Whispers And murmurs filled the room as all the newly graduated exorcists buzzed with anticipation some were eager to see Koshi in person having heard of his impressive private lessons others were nervous Feeling overshadowed by his accomplishments while a few looked forward to acknowledging his strength and perhaps learning from him among them one person with eyeglasses seemed unimpressed
having heard that Koshi was Clos to achieving the prestigious cross Paladin rank the highest honor among exorcists despite the headmaster's repeated calls for Koshi the boy remained absent adding to the tension meanwhile kioshi was in a panic he was late an oversight caused by oversleeping the previous night had been a Sleepless one for him the anxiety of being the top graduate had kept him awake and despite his efforts to stay alert fatigue had set in he had intended to take just a brief rest but his exhaustion got the better of him leading to this last
minute rush the scene highlights kyoshi's Human Side ju opposed against his impressive achievements as he dashed toward the Gathering his frantic State and the awkward mixup underscore the contrast between his extraordinary abilities and the ordinary challenges he faces since all of his lessons were private and even skipped grades in his Academy he was just hopping along he would finally make some friends at the Academy he knows he can be late by just a few minutes but then suddenly an old woman drops her fruits scattering them them around with a heart of gold our boy has
no choice but to help the old woman at the same time in the cathedral the Headmaster is thinking about Koshi wondering if he might be in some trouble and then moves on to the next topic suddenly this cocky nerdy eyeglass wearing guy talks asking cockily where am I getting assigned to while chilling this boy is an exorcist named sasu hitsugi the S of the distinguished hitsugi family Sauk despises and is jealous of Koshi since he is getting recognized and not him suddenly the door opens the Headmaster thought it was kioshi but he saw a cute
black dog meaning a Demon Lord has appeared this dog transformed like Meo does with black lightning appearing and pushing everyone with such Force we see another Demon Lord one of the 13 demon Lords named sod he tells the Headmaster to bring kioshi as he remembers Meo as one of his dear friends and seeks revenge for his friends s screams in Rage promising that he will devour kyoshi's soul but then the Headmaster tells him that he can't because Kyoshi is running late making Demon Lord s awkward since he knows it's an important day for him which
the Headmaster agrees with then a random Exorcist attacked while sa was distracted as he shot it didn't affect the Demon Lord this annoyed sa so he showed them how it's done by charging an energy bullet defeating multiple exorcists with just one shot s then asked everyone how many people do I need to kill for him maybe a hundred or more with a grim voice he decided to kill everyone in the room but then suddenly someone shot him in the head and it went through S was in pain and annoyed because of this and it was
because of this dude Sask he smiled confidently about the Demon Lord while saying he is sick of hearing about Kyoshi s acknowledges suuk praising him for having guts suuk told the Headmaster to take care of the injured and create a barrier to protect everyone suddenly some strongl looking exorcists wanted to join in as they wanted to feel the glory as well and were looking forward to getting the demon Lord's Bounty with that four of them are now ready to face the Demon Lord but s sees them as arrogant brats after some time the four of
them are easily defeated by S the Demon Lord enjoyed the fight more than he expected and as sa enjoyed the battle he asked sas's name but suuk being arrogant stood his ground and said my name isn't something I'd willingly tell a demon mocking s s just smirked thinking that sas's last words were bold s then grows his fist intending to end sas's life while the Demon Lord was about to attack he thought about Koshi pissed off that he had to deal with a monster like Sada s then throws a huge punch and our boy who
wasn't late Saves suuk by summoning a shield called Athena blocking s's huge fist with a serious look on kyoshi's face he apologized for being late now everyone was happy that he was there to face the Demon Lord s acted like he was okay after facing Kyoshi but inside he was in pain after Kyoshi blocked his fists on the other hand our boy didn't know what was going on wondering why a Demon Lord was at the Cathedral he set that aside as he felt angry at the Demon Lord for daring to harm his classmates and friends
even though he doesn't have any he then asked Sauk to handle his tangerines our boy then took yamada's advice breathing deeply in and out and said the words leave the rest to me Koshi then summons his light blade called Lux Gladius as kioshi was about to press onwards s the Demon Lord screamed with excitement saying he would enjoy himself and wouldn't let Kyoshi have his way but in the link of an eye Kyoshi had already cut s into pieces shocking s and the others all of them couldn't believe that he One-Shot the Demon Lord Sask
was shocked to see this he stands up and tells our boy that he is not going to thank him he challenges kioshi saying that their competition will be to surpass him and become the highest of exorcists and reach the rank of cross Paladin Kyoshi hears that but doesn't understand what he's saying although he's heard about Sauk being strong and ambitious he saw how he asserted himself in front of the huge crowd without fear or hesitation with that serious look on kyoshi's face he admires Sauk to the point where he really wants him to become his
friend in the end after kyoshi's tardiness he didn't manage to make any friends Koshi is now assigned to a city called Naraku City where there is an exorcist Outpost located inside a Chinese restaurant inside the restaurant we see a man in his early 20 cooking for his customers while smoking it's an ordinary restaurant just like any other on the street the man with a somewhat rude demeanor tells his customers that his restaurant is intended for a small highly skilled team only despite his mannerisms the customers don't mind at all and always look forward to his
meals while he is serving some food the phone rings annoyed he answers saying he's busy with deliveries but it's not an ordinary customer it's The Exorcist Association he is informed that at M Park in nakaku City they've seen a mid-level demon that needs to be dealt with realizing it's a mission he calls one of his employees named Diego to go out Diego is reluctant because they are all busy but the man offers to raise Diego's pay by 100 yen an hour today which makes Diego happy as the man rushes to his motorbike to deal with
the demon kioshi appears and says if this is about that demon I exercised it the man is startled and prepares his ability summoning a shadowy fist to grab Koshi he is surprised that he didn't sense Koshi approaching and asks who he is Kyoshi doesn't answer instead Breaking Free from the shadowy fist the man realizing he might be overpowered if he hesitates prepares to use another skill just as he's about to attack kioshi responds long time no see Mr sakaki it's me Kyoshi heri at first Mr sakaki doesn't recognize Kyoshi and is confused but as he
recalls the past he remembers a little boy and is astonished that Kyoshi is that boy from years ago Mr sakaki is surprised and happy to see Koshi again he is delighted by how much Koshi has grown and having for forgotten that Koshi was coming to his town decides to celebrate at his restaurant for the rest of the day he even offers to close the restaurant for kioshi Mr sakaki is no ordinary Exorcist he is Tenma sakaki The Exorcist Outpost manager and the owner of the Gates of Hell Chinese restaurant he cannot believe how many years
have passed and barely recognizes Koshi he asks about kyoshi's grandmother wondering if she is alive and well Koshi responds that the grandmother's teachings were tough but that she is doing well Tenma then asked why Koshi was assigned to his city of all places he imagined that people must have been competing to have Koshi assigned to their location with a bit more job experience under his belt Tenma knew Koshi was destined to become the top and strongest Exorcist in history Tenma inquired why kioshi was posted to such an outof theeway Place Koshi responded that he could
ask Tenma the same thing our boy then asked Tenma why come out here if it meant throwing away the highest rank for exorcists the cross Paladin it turns out Tenma had trolled the highest ranking and became a Chinese restaurant owner instead Tenma explained that it wasn't about him hioshi responded that he didn't want to become a big deal What mattered to him was protecting people from demons he remembered spending a long time thinking about it and decided that if he became an exorcist he wanted to work with the person who saved his life he recalled
that tenno was the one who saved him when he was just a little boy tenna then served him a meal he saw how Kyoshi had grown but remembered him as just a kid with a serious ious tone Koshi told Tenma that it wasn't a big deal and admitted he was extremely shy depressed he felt he would never be able to handle a situation where he didn't know anyone without tma's support Tenma responded awkwardly realizing that kyoshi's reason was an actual serious concern nevertheless Tenma was glad Koshi was there Koshi noticed tma's serious demeanor and guessed
that a powerful demon might be approaching Tenma told Koshi that there was another Exorcist working part-time at his restaurant however that Exorcist was busy and unavailable Tenma warned that a tough and fierce battle awaited and asked if Koshi was ready with a serious look on his face Kyoshi indicated that he was prepared it turns out Tenma just wanted additional staff for his restaurant since they were underst staffed he explained that most exorcists exist out of the public eye living and dying in obscurity Tenma a huge fan of Chinese cuisine had opened this little hole in
the wall 5 years ago there had been a huge boom in interest in local Chinese restaurants and thanks to the quality of their food they had become a local hotspot he was getting tired of it and started skimping on customer service which backfired the restaurant became even more popular tma's attempt to be rude to customers was seen as part of the restaurant's theme and they enjoyed it especially since it was named gates of hell every day Tenma gets a lot of customers lined up out the door and Kyoshi can barely consider him an exorcist now
as he's essentially a restaurant owner Tenma thanked Koshi for helping out with the dinner rush which Koshi didn't expect Diego however didn't care at all and said I quit yapping mate and start working you too Tenma encouraged kioshi saying that even a shy guy like him would be fine in the back despite the encouragement Koshi was still nervous Tenma told him that dealing with unexpected situations was just part of the job and if he couldn't even make some food he questioned what kind of Exorcist he was kosi had no choice but to agree remembering how
tenna had helped him in the past he felt this was his way to repay tenna for saving his life taking a deep breath he resolved to overcome his limits and make a dish called tension tooshi started cooking chopping and preparing the meal as he served it Teno was very proud of him however it wasn't tensionin it was just a regular omelette over rice Tenma nagged him saying this was a Chinese restaurant and asking why he made it like that he had no choice but to redo the order but when the customer tried The Omelette rice
they were in Bliss over how delicious it was all the other customers saw the reaction and heard about the Omelette rice which intrigued them they wanted to change their orders and requested a lot of omelet rice with that Tenma had no choice but to add a new item to the menu he was unsure what to do if the dish became more popular but he smiled with delight and was pleased with kyoshi's contribution the omelet rice now a special menu item at Gates of Hell experienced a surge in popularity after long hours of working Tenma mentioned
that he had another Exorcist in mind and planned for the two of them to pair up hioshi responded that that it didn't matter who they were it wouldn't change what he did suddenly a young woman appeared and apologized to the owner for being late because she had been studying she rushed toward Koshi recognizing him and introducing herself as aari jagas saki she had heard a lot about him and was looking forward to working with him despite his usual shyness Kyoshi with a serious expression wondered what he was going to do especially since she was a
