in 1848 a large iron Rod drove through the face and head of a man while he was working on a railroad it passed behind his left eye and exited through the top of his skull and he somehow managed to stay conscious while the rod was removed now he did survive this incident but he wasn't really the same person you see the rod went through his frontal lobe and this area of the brain is responsible for decision making and self-control because it was damaged his entire personality changed he became impulsive erratic and unpredictable
