A couple of things. If you want to, you can turn with me to 1 Corinthians chapter 2. 1 Corinthians chapter 2. And really what I'm doing this week is it's like spiritual chiropractic, right? We're just making some adjustments. We're just adjusting some things now. And as as you look at this, I'm just going to read this part to you real quick just so you can know and then We'll get right into the scripture. But remember this because I've told you to go to First Corinthians chapter 2. Now the Corinthian church, how many you know it
wasn't a perfect church. Matter of fact, it was the most messed up church in the New Testament. Is that right? Paul wrote to them and tell them, "Man, you're messed up." He said, "You're you're carnal. You like this preacher over that preacher. You have preferences. You have all that stuff." And what that means is you don't the people didn't realize that they were looking at the messenger instead of the message. And they well I like that messenger and I like this messenger. And you have to realize no it's the message. It's the spirit that comes
out. And the spirit comes out of each messenger differently. But that's because people hear and learn differently. And God has to use different delivery methods to get it to you. Some people won't listen to Me. Why? They don't like how I present and other people do and then other people won't listen to other people and different things like that. And we have to get beyond that. We can't be I'm of Paul. I'm of Cas. I'm of these different No, no, no. We're of Jesus. Amen. And we need to hear his voice and his message. Now,
and as we said here, the the Corinthian church was really messed up. Now, here's the thing. You only find the gifts Listed really in one book, and that's First Corinthians. Now, we tend to look at gifts as though they are the highest epitome of Christianity. If I fast enough, if I pray enough, if I'm holy enough, maybe God will give me a gift of faith. Maybe maybe he'll give me a gift of healing. Maybe he'll do if we get spiritual enough. And if that were true, why did he why did Paul write the only list
of the gifts of the spirit to the Most carnal, most messed up, most sinfested church in the New Testament. You would think he would have written it to Ephesians or the church at Ephesus, something like that. But let me tell you, the reason he did that was because that was the church that needed the most help. and the helper manifest himself through these giftings. And so he said, "Here's what's Going on." Now, they had written to him and basically said, "We got things happening here. We we don't know what they are. We don't know how
they're happening." And he said, "Oh, don't worry. That's the gift. That's the spirit." And you'll notice he called these things gifts, but he really emphasized the manifestation of the spirit. He didn't say the gifts of the spirit. He said the manifestation of the spirit. Each of these gifts are not a Thing like like I was to take this and say here's a gift somebody can have that and then I walk away and the gifts there. It's not like that. It is the spirit manifesting himself. That's right. You see healing is not a gift here, here,
give it there, and now it's there. No, no, no. It's the spirit manifesting himself in healing. It's the spirit manifesting himself with a word of knowledge. So if you have the spirit then all those Gifts are in him and and if you understand it and start to allow him he will manifest himself in many different ways through your life to people. Now I I I'll show you in just a minute the the one of the problems in the church right and how to fix it. Now but now notice this. Okay, first off, as we said,
there was sin in the Corinthian church that Paul said wasn't even heard of among heathen. Now, when the church is sinning Better than the heathen, there's a problem. Amen. So Paul writes to him. Now, notice this. Here's the thing. Even with all that sin in the church, the gifts, he said, "You don't come behind anybody when it comes to the gifts." In other words, the manifestation of the spirit. You, you Corinthians, you got the gifts going in the middle of sin, in the middle of division, in the middle of everything. God didn't wait until the
Corinthians got everything straightened up and had no division and all that and and all all these kind of things. He didn't wait. He was right there in the midst of them in his giftings and and manifesting. Why? Because they needed help. Amen. Does that make sense? Now notice, even with all that going on, Paul did not say, "Oh, that's not gifts. That's counterfeit. That's not right. That's not God." No, no, no. You know what Paul did? Now, get this. Paul said, "Yeah, that's the spirit. The spirit is working among you." Here's the amazing thing. Then
Paul says, "But you're not doing them right." Now, how can that be? If the spirit is the spirit and he's doing them, how can they not be doing right? Why? Because the spirit didn't just fall and do things in the service. He comes through people. You ever notice in the Old Testament it says if a prophet says something in the name of a prophet that The Lord hadn't said and it doesn't come to pass, take him out and stone him. Remember that? That was one aspect. There was other aspects. Remember that. In the New Testament,
you notice it doesn't say that. In the New Testament, it says that as a prophetic word comes forth, we are to judge it. Doesn't say that in the Old Testament. Says it in the New Testament. You got that? Why Why do Why didn't they need to judge it in the Old Testament? Because The spirit didn't dwell in them. The spirit came upon them and all they did was repeat what they heard, right? or saw depending on how the prophet operated because there were some that were hearing prophets and there were others that were seeing prophets
and so they just had to describe what they heard or saw. So there and that's why if it didn't come to pass that prophet was lying. There you go. You just take him out and kill him because he's a false Prophet. He's going to lead the people astray. In the New Testament it says that when a prophetic word comes forth we are to judge that word. Why? Because now the spirit of God dwells in us. And for him to come out, we have to work with him. See, for me to give a word of knowledge
or a word of wisdom or let's say, well, yeah, we'll just stick with that at first. I'll come back to the tongues and interpretation just a second. But for me to give a word of Knowledge or a word of wisdom, the Holy Spirit speaks, but for it to come out my mouth, see, for my my lips and my tongue to move, my mind has to be engaged in that sense. And so he has to come out of my spirit, go into my soul, find the words that fit what he's saying, and then he brings that
out, and then he brings it out through my mouth. Now the problem is many times if I am taught wrong, then he can't get the exact words he wants to use. So he works through our Level of understanding. When he does that, when that word comes out, it can come out in different levels of purity. There can be a lot of him, holy spirit and a lot of you mixed together. And what we have to do is we have to judge the word and say now that part that that's accurate. That's holy spirit. But this
part that's you. That's that's your flesh. That's your understanding. And so we have to separate that thing. How do we separate It? Well, the only way we can separate between soul and spirit is the word of God. In Hebrews chapter 4:12, it says the word of God is living. Ain't that right? And that it is sharper than a two-edged sword, even to the dividing of soul and spirit. The only way you can tell what soul or spirit is judge it by the word. It's the only way. There's a whole lot of soul that looks like
spirit, right? And people think it's spirit, but it's Not. It's flesh. Yes. So, you have to be able to judge those things. When I was with Dr. somewhere wrong. I remember the first time I ever did this and it was it was scary. I'll be honest. It was because there he would be preaching and if you received a word from the Lord the way that it there was a function. We did things decently and in order. People didn't just jump up and start saying stuff or whatever. They would get a word from the Lord and
what would happen is On the front row over on the end would be Frank his son and Stephen his son. And so if you got a word, you made your way over by those chairs and when you came up, you they would look at you and say, "Do you have something from the Lord?" And if you said yes and they'd say, "Okay, sit down." And you would sit down there and Dr. Sra, they had a chair in between them that you would sit in. Dr. Sumra would be stand there preaching and every now and then
he would look Over there and he'd see somebody there and that means that they had a word or had something to deliver. And then whenever the time was right, he would say, "All right, we what he did with me when I went there, because I did not want to do this, especially with Dr. Sra, cuz I was not sure that if well, I was pretty sure if I got it wrong." Oh, it was I was waiting for him to go, "Well, that was Stupid." Because that was just kind of his personality. And so I didn't
want to do it. And I'd never done this in church. And it's like I've been in church all my life and I'd never done this in church. So the first time I go up and I'm sitting down and he looks over and he looks at Frank and Frank nods like, "Yep, this." And he goes, "All right, our young brother here has a word from the Lord. He's going to deliver it. We'll see if it's from the Lord." And I'm like, "Uh." And so he called me up and I went up behind the the the pulpit
there. And I'll never forget because there was a cup there with some water in it. And and I was so scared. I mean, cuz I was right next to him. He could have easily just popped, you know, just that would have been it. And so I'm there and I get up there and I said, he said, "Go ahead." And I'm standing there and I'm like, and I was so shaken and just I listen, I was More scared of being wrong in front of him than I was in front of the Lord because I knew the
Lord had grace. wasn't too sure about him and but the strangest thing happened because I remember I closed my eyes and I opened my mouth and words started coming out and and when I got done I I'll be honest with you I I remember very little of what I actually said but when I got done I said thus sayith the Lord and shut my mouth and then now the Way Dr. did it was whenever if you gave a word to the congregation, you didn't say it and go sit down. No, no, no. You had to
stand there till they judged it and they would take it apart. They would dissect it. That was of the Lord. That was not of the Lord. This was you. This was flesh. This was of the Lord. This was spirit. Why? Because it says to judge it. To judge means to cut apart. And so that's how it worked. Now, And the thing is as he said, he stood there for a few second and it was a long few seconds, let me tell you. Cuz I was waiting for him to and finally he says, "Well, that was
the Lord." And I'm like, "Oh, thank you, Jesus. Thank you. Thank you, Jesus." And so then I went back and sat down. But see that the reason he had to do that, and I've had to do that a couple of times in my home church uh back in Dallas, because here's the thing. You've got people at all levels of spiritual maturity. You have people that are mature and can decipher for themselves and they go, "Well, that wasn't that and this." But then you have some people that are brand new Christians and they don't know to
to decipher these things. They don't know to judge these things. And if someone gets up and says, "Thus says the Lord, the Lord loves you so much. He loves you and that he sent his Son to die for you." And and they're they're prophesying. I mean, it's coming out. It's not just preaching, but it's they're prophesying and they're saying, "Thus said the Lord, he loves you and he sent his son to die for you and and and he loves you so much that he doesn't want you to go to hell. So he gave you this
cancer so that you will will will get perfected." Now see what does that mean? That means the first part was spirit. Yeah. Lord loves you. Send us son to die for you. But then that other part that's flesh. That's out of their understanding. They have been taught wrong. Yeah. And it came through their soul and they got involved in it. You ever notice why God usually doesn't give you a word way ahead of time? You ever notice how he gives it right then? You ever notice that? You know why? Because he gave if he gave
it to you while you were At home and then you had to go to church to give it by the time you got there, you would have so filled it in with other stuff. Your your mind would have kicked in and it would have been 90% you and maybe 10% him. Why? Because you're thinking and you're adding stuff to it and you think it's him. So he waits till you're right there and goes, "Get up. Go give a word." And you're like, "Okay." I told the Lord that one time. He said, "Get up and say,
go to this person and Tell them this." I was at a Walmart. God said, "You see that person, go to there, tell them this." I'm like, "Well, tell me what I'm supposed to tell them." He said, "No, you go tell them I got something for them." I'm like, "No, no, no. I'm going to go over there and say, "Thus sayeth the Lord, and and nothing's going to come out." He goes, "No." He said, "You trust me, and I'll speak through you." And I said, "Well, why can't you give it to me Ahead of time?" And
he said, "Because by the time you got there, you would have added your own stuff into it." Wow. And I'm like, "Okay." And I'll never forget because I walked up to this young lady that was pushing a cart, had a little girl in the in the cart with her or sitting there. I assumed with her daughter. And I walked up to her and I said, "The Lord has a word for you." This is in Walmart. This isn't church. And the lady looked at me Like, "Okay." And all of a sudden, this compassion came up in
me. I said, 'The Lord loves you and he's been trying to talk to you and he's been he's been dealing with you. And he says he wants you to get on your face in your living room and he wants you to connect with him and know him and talk with him. And she said, and it was funny because I told what we kind of went back and forth a little bit and I said, and She said, 'Well, I' I've been I've been going to church. I said, no, no, no. You don't get it. That's not
it. He wants you to connect with him. He didn't say go to church and connect. He said, he wants you to connect with him in your living room. And I said, a matter of fact, he says, all you need is more of this. And I pointed to her daughter and I thought, that may not be a good word. you know, more children. I mean, she might not want. And I said, but he said, "You need more of this." I said, "This your daughter?" She said, "Yes, her name is Faith." And now I'm going, "I knew
that." Yeah. But I started talking to her about how God loves her and these things and and these things are coming out. And then there's some specific things going in what you've gone through. God saw it and he he saw you through it and you didn't recognize that he was there with You but he brought you through it and now he's doing this and and now this lady's crying now I'm crying my wife is standing in line checking out going come on you know what's going on and uh so this lady's crying and then her
friend walks up looking at me like what are you doing to my friend making her cry because she didn't hear everything else and so but when we got done I walked off now there's a lot more to the story and I don't have time to tell you All of it but here's the thing that we there there's ways to do things decently and in order. And so many times we hear things if I go to certain places people say this is what happens when you cast out devils. You start ministering to people and people will
start doing that because they're trained that that's how devils come out and so they do certain things. So we've been trained certain ways. Sometimes the way we've Been trained isn't that accurate but it it still it can work because it's a point of contact and your faith can flow through it. So God will still use it even though it's not accurate. So just because God uses you to do something doesn't mean what you're doing or how you're doing it is accurate. Now he'll try to correct it and that kind of stuff. Now but now notice
here he says and I want I want to get to these couple of things here today real quick. He says Here now notice whenever Paul wrote to the Corinthian church he wrote to them and he said you're doing the gifts wrong. He said these things. He said listen if you get a word somebody else gets it. you let it, you sit on it and let the other person do this. You defer to one another. He he was telling them how to function in the gifts. So even though it's the Holy Spirit that operates the gifts,
we still have a part to play in how they are delivered. Like I was talking about yesterday, a Allen delivered a gift of healing in one way, Jack Co in another way, William Brandham in another way. So it's different. It'll work through a lot of your personality, but a lot of times too, God will want you to come out of yourself. See, I'm I'm generally a quiet, reserved. That's the way I, you know, give me a book, let me sit in a corner, I'll sit there and read. Won't bother me a bit. I enjoy that.
I enjoy quiet. You Know, that's just my personality. And so, but yet at one point, God said, "Will you do this?" Because I realized I had to release faith to set people free. And I was praying for people and ministering to them. But God said, "Will you go further? will you come out of yourself? Will you do things you don't want to do? And I said, "Well, yeah, if I need to." He said, "Do you love them enough to do whatever is necessary? Or do you only love them enough for for you To be you?"
And I said, "Well, I I I think I love them. I want to love them more." And he said, "All right, then. Will if if you need to get loud to cast the devil out, will you do it?" I said, "Yeah, I I don't I didn't like it." I said, "Yeah, I'll do it." And I had to learn how to be able to get loud. And And so when I first started, I had to come out of myself and be almost like a different person to be able to get people free. So everything was yell
and Loud and all this kind of stuff. And but then I started going into the hospitals and you can't yell in a hospital because they'll chase you out. So you only get to pray for one person and then they're, you know, come with me and they'll lead you out. So I had to learn how to deliver the same level of power. Yes. But quieter. And then I because I started talking to the Lord about it and I'm like what you know uh what what is this? Why is this? How can I how can I deliver?
But I had to come out of myself first. I said how can I deliver power calmer? And he said well and this was a strange thing because my father my dad earthly dad was still alive at the time. He said go talk to your dad. And I'm like, "Okay." So I went to my dad who was a policeman and I said, "What about this? What, you know, I don't know why?" Because my dad was a Christian and so we weren't trying to talk spiritual because My dad saw things through a policeman's eyes. And so I'm
talking to him. I said, "What is this?" I said, "The Lord was telling me, you know, I did this to start, but how do I deliver this qu?" And my dad, it was the strangest thing because my dad looked at me and said, "If a policeman has to raise his voice, he has lost his position of authority." Wow. Wow. And I'm like, hm. Okay. And then I remembered raising children. Now, my wife will say she did it All, but I was there. Just saying. But we realized and as I was raising, helping to raise my
children. If they did something, I didn't scream at them because if you raise your voice, now you're not always able to raise your voice. If you raise it a certain level, you might not be able to get above that. So that's the level. And once they get used to that, they won't respond anymore because they get desensitized to it. And so I started Telling my children, the matter I am, the quieter I'm going to get. And when I'm so quiet that you really can't hear me, you know you're in big trouble. So then it's kind
of like, come here. I want you within this range right here. And so I had to go back to that and learn. And my dad helped me to learn this that the more intent I was, the quieter I got. Why? Because that's what happens when you focus and you zero in on this thing and it's kind of you grit Your teeth. You dig in your heels and you're like, "This is the way it will be. This is what's going to happen." And I don't mean maybe. You see, when you zero in on that, now you're
in faith and you're able to release with a strength that doesn't have to be loud. Like Jesse said last night, he said, you know, there's teaching and then there's preaching and then sometimes it's not preaching, it's just loud. Yeah. Amen. And sometimes we mistake loud for Anointing or loud for power or something like that. And and it doesn't have to be. Amen. When Jesus said in Matthew 28, he said, "Go ye into all the world and do what?" He said, the King James says, "Teach, right?" And it but it talks about making disciples, then later
on he says teaching them. See, the first word for teach there is methus, which means to make a disciple, make a a student. The second word is the word damascus, which literally means to instruct. So that's what that's the aspect that the Lord has uh uses me in is to make disciples through instructing. And so it's a there's it's a point peace on peace. We'll we'll talk about just a minute because I want to show you some things today. Now did all that to get to this point. Have you found 1 Corinthians chapter 2? Okay.
Hopefully you have found it. All right. Now, and as I said, uh, you know, I want people to know that, uh, of course, this Book is is available. And so, you know, I keep bringing that back up. Now, notice here in 1 Corinthians chapter 2, verse one, it says, "And I, brethren, when I came to you, I came not with the excellency of speech or of wisdom, declaring unto you the testimony of God. For I determined, he made a decision not to know anything among you except Jesus Christ and him crucified. And I was with
you in Weakness and in fear and in much trembling. And my speech and my preaching was not with enticing words of man's wisdom, but in demonstration of the spirit and of power. So that your faith should not stand in the wisdom of men. Fancy words. Now watch. But in the power of God. How be it we speak wisdom among them that are perfect, mature. Okay. Yet not the wisdom of this world, Nor of the princes of this world that come to nothing. But we speak the wisdom of God in a mystery. even the hidden wisdom
which God ordained before the world unto whose glory? Our glory. Now look at this in verse nine. But as it is written I notice as it is written. So he's quoting something that's written. I hath not seen nor ear heard neither have entered into the heart of man the things which God hath Prepared for them that love him. Now, how many times have you heard that? Quite a few times. Isn't that right? Right. Well, you hadn't heard it the way I just read it. That's not how you hear it. Usually, you hear it in preacher
ease. Now, I don't know if you noticed or not, but religion has a sound and it's always it has a sound and it has a look. And that and and the the look is like they see something that you Don't see. And it's amazing. And the sound, it's amazing. It has a sound. How does it see? Usually religion comes out in a way that starts loud and then gets quiet. That's okay. So, let's read it that way. Let's read it the way you've probably heard it before. As it is written, I hath not seen, nor
ear heard, neither have entered into the hearts of Men the things that God has prepared for those that love him. See, I can preach I don't just teach. Come on. Now, how many of you have heard it like kind of like that before? In some some tone like that. But notice he said as it is written. So this was written. So he's quoting. Is that right? Yes. So that's quoted from Isaiah chapter 64 and Verse4. But now watch this. Now watch this is a remember listen I'm teaching. I'm I'm I'm giving you principles, things to
learn. Don't just sit and listen and go, "Okay." No. Learn. Put into practice. Amen. Now, watch. Now, look at verse 10. Now, what's the first word of verse 10? But. Now, let's say you came to me and said, "Brother Curry, I really hate to ask you this, but you know, I got here. I came here by faith. I I just don't Have any any money in to get back home. If if you just had, you know, if if you had maybe, you know, a hundred rand that I could just if you could give me a
hundred rand, man, that would just help me get a little bit of petrol and I could go just if you and I could look at you and say, "Yeah, yeah, you know, I've got I've got a 100 rand. I can give you 100. That's not a problem." A matter of fact, I could give you 200 rand. It's not a problem. But what does that mean? That means you ain't getting a 100red rand. Ain't that right? I could tell you I got it. I'd love to give it to you. It would bless me. It would bless
you to give it to you. But that means you ain't getting it. Is that right? So basically the word but means forget everything I just said. And here's the reality. You got that? Okay. So I hath not seen, ear hath not heard, Neither has it into the hearts of man the things which God has prepared for those that love him as it is written. Right. But praise the Lord. So he's fixing to change that. Yes. Look at this. But God hath past tense revealed them. What? The things that I hadn't seen and ear hadn't heard.
The things he's prepared for those that love him. He says, "These things have been given to us." You get that? Yes. Okay. Now, here's where we find out how honest you Are. So you can never say that I hadn't seen and ear hadn't heard without finishing it with this verse. But God hath revealed them unto us. How? By his spirit. Hallelujah. Do you get that? Wait. You're saying that there there's not things that I hadn't seen and ear hadn't heard? No, no, no. I'm saying that God when he wrote this, he said, "Old Testament saints,
sorry, you guys don't have my Spirit." But Paul said, "Hey, New Testament saints, you've got my spirit." And that spirit was given to you. Let's read now. Watch. But God hath revealed them unto us by his spirit. For the spirit searches all things, yay, the deep things of God. For what man knows the things of a man except the spirit of man which is in him? Even so the things of God knoweth no man but the spirit of God. Now we have received. Say that with me. Now we have received. Now we have Received. Now
watch this. Not the spirit of the world, but the spirit which is of God. Now, is that you? Okay. Now, watch. Why? What's that next word? That. What does that mean? We could say so that. That we might know the things that are freely given to us of God. Come on. The reason you have this, one of the reasons you have the spirit is so that he can reveal the things that are freely given to us. And those are the things that I hadn't seen and ear hadn't heard, but Now they have been planted into
your spirit and they've been revealed to you if you get in the word. Praise God. Because that's where they are. Amen. Amen. You ever notice Paul said that I preach the uncarchable riches of Christ. Now, how do you preach something that's uncarchable? By revelation. Yes. Now, revelation doesn't mean something out there. It means revelation f actually fills in the word of God. is not different from the word of God. If it's Different from the word of God, it's not the word of God. Right? Now, watch because he goes on. Now, go with me very quickly.
See where we at. Uh well, we wouldn't finish this first. Now, watch. No, we won't. We'll go to Isaiah. Go to Isaiah. And we're going to go to Isaiah. There we go. Isaiah 55 verses. I tell you the man, listen, you got to fall in love With the word of God. That's right. The word of God has to be meat to you. It has to be everything that it has to be your sustenance. Man doesn't live by bread alone, but by every word of God that proceeds from the mouth of God. Amen. You got to
fall in love with this. Now, watch verse Isaiah 55. Isaiah is crying out verse one. Oh everyone that thirst, come ye to the waters. This was A Jesus said was quoting this and he said come, this says come to the waters. He said come to me. Why? Because he was the water of life. Amen. He says come ye to me. Come ye to the waters. He that hath no money come ye buy and eat. Yay. come buy wine and milk without money, without price. Wherefore do you spend money for that which is not bread? Why
do you waste your money on stuff that won't feed your soul? Why do you waste your time on things That are not going to help you? Like I said yesterday, you want a flower garden or do you want a wheat field? A flower garden is beautiful. It's pretty, but it's pretty useless to be honest with you. But a wheat field requires hard work because you have to cultivate it, but it's worth it because it'll feed a multitude. He says, "And your labor for that which satisfies not. Hearken diligently unto me and eat that which is
good, and let Your soul delight in its fatness. Incline your ear and come unto me. here and your soul shall live. And I will make an everlasting covenant with you, even the sure mercies of David. Behold, I have given him for a witness to the people, a leader and commander to the people. Behold, thou shalt call a nation that thou knowest not, and nations that knew not thee shall run unto thee, because of the Lord thy God, and for the holy one of Israel, for he Has glorified thee. Seek ye the Lord while he may
be found. Call ye upon him while he is near. Listen carefully. Verse seven. Let the wicked forsake his way, and the unrighteous man his thoughts, and let him return unto the Lord, and he will have mercy upon him, and to our God, for he will abundantly pardon. Verse eight. Oh, this is a verse you've heard a lot of times. For my thoughts are not your thoughts. Neither are your ways my ways, sayaeth the Lord. Okay, stop right there. Notice verse eight. Now, I know you've all heard that verse before. Is that right? Everybody's heard it.
Everybody's heard that right? We all know your thoughts are my thoughts. Your ways, not my ways. Is that right? You notice verse eight. Now, this is deep. Think about that. I want you to think about this. Verse 8 follows verse 7. That's deep. Think about it. So verse eight is still talking to the man of verse 7. So let's see who verse eight is talking to when he says, "Your thoughts are not my thoughts. Your ways are not my ways." Huh? Let the wicked forsake his way and the unrighteous man his thoughts. Why? Because the
wicked and Unrighteous man's ways and thoughts are not the ways and thoughts of the Lord. The Lord's thoughts, you hear that? His thoughts are not our thoughts. His ways are above our ways. Listen carefully. If you believe that, you need to get saved. because you are wicked and unrighteous. The the righteous their thoughts are continually upon him. I will keep him in perfect peace whose mind is stayed upon thee Because he has known me and known my name. So you can listen once you hear it you got to change. It's not a matter of well
let me pray about it. No you don't need to pray about this. This is what it says. So you can't say, "Well, God's ways aren't our ways." See, you get into that religious thing. You'll start singing it. Oh, yes. Our ways are not your ways, Lord. And no, you can't do that. You can't go into that religious thing. You got to look at that and go, "Glory to God. Thank God I'm not wicked. Thank God I'm not unrighteous. Thank God my thoughts are his thoughts. His thoughts are my thoughts." Why? Cuz we are one together.
And you can't tell where I stop and he picks up or where he stops and I pick up. Why? Because we are one. Joined together. And he he that is joined to the Lord is one spirit with the Lord. Amen. And I have the mind of Christ. Now, how can I have the mind of Christ and not think the thoughts of God? Yes, sir. How can I have the ways? Okay, your ways aren't the ways of God. I thought Jesus was the way. So, if your ways ain't the way of God, then you ain't in
his way and you ain't in Jesus. Okay, now I'm just going to ask you, how long do I have to drill on this thing? How quick are you going to go? Yep. I was in religion, and I just heard the chains fall off. As your mind is renewed to the word of God, you begin to think. Your mind is not renewed when you think, what does the word say? Your mind is renewed when you think what the word says. Amen. And you can't think what the word says if you don't spend time in the word.
And Jesus said, "If you abide in me and my words abide in you, then you will ask whatever you want." That's right. And I Will do it. Amen. Beloved, the Jesus wants the church to grow up. He doesn't want us to be babies the rest of our life. Amen. He wants us to grow up. He wants it to be about our father's business. That's what he's trying to get even us to this week is so that we can start to take our place. As long as you're a child, as long as you're thinking like a
child, you can't take your place in the father's Plan. Why? Because it left a tra you know the script. It's amazing. What is it? Let me see if I can find it here real quick because I wasn't going to bring this up, but I will. Let me get over there real quick. Sorry. Okay. Y'all get anything out of this so far? Okay. Do you believe the word of God? Now, do you believe that um do you believe you have faith? Do you believe you can demonstrate your faith? Do you believe you can do that at
will? Okay. Now watch Psalm 32 verse we'll start at verse 7. Psalm 32:7. Thou art my hiding place. Thou shalt preserve me from trouble. Thou shalt compass me about with songs of deliverance. Not songs of woe. Songs of deliverance. sila. Okay, now listen carefully. I will instruct thee and teach thee in the way Which thou shalt go. I will guide thee with my eye. Listen to this verse nine. Be not as the horse or as the mule which have no understanding whose mouth must be held in with bit and bridal lest they come near unto
thee. Now this hear what he says. I will guide you with my eye. Don't be like the horse. And then he doesn't change it but he he makes it stronger. Don't be like a Stubborn mule that you have to have a bit and a bridal put in your mouth and say go here, go there, do this, do that. No, he said, I will guide you with my eye. What does that mean? He said he's going to instruct you in the way that you should go. He will guide you with his eye. What does that mean?
When you look and you see the hungry, what does he see? the hungry. And you say, "Well, what? Come on, Lord. The person's hungry. Uh, send them away. Let them go eat." Jesus says, "No, you feed them." That's right. You do it. Lord, I ain't got enough now. He said, "What have you got?" You notice he didn't say, "When you get enough, bring it to me. We'll bless it. We'll feed the multitude." What have you got? Well, Lord, I got this. Bring it to me. And they brought it to him. And he blessed it. looked
up to heaven and blessed it, then broke it and put it in His disciples hands. Jesus did not do the miracle. He was the source of power for the miracle, but the food was multiplied in the hands of the disciples. He broke the bread and then they went out to pass it out and kept passing it out and it mult every time they took some out more was put in. He when how did they notice he will guide you with his Eye what you see he he looks out of your eyes and too often we
look and we'll see someone in need somebody hurt somebody's sick something they have a need and we look at them and he's looking at them through our eye and we keep on walking and he's trying to look back but you won't let him look back why cuz he's trying to guide you with his eye and you're like No, no. I see. We ignore what we don't think we can help. That's why we have places to put People that are sick. Put them in a hospital. Well, we don't want to see them because if you don't
see them, you forget about them. But once you learn that you can set the sick free, you'll start seeing them everywhere. It's amazing. You'll see them everywhere. So, now watch. He says he don't want to have to lead you with a rain and a bridal. He has put Okay, before you were Christian, you Were a sinner. Anybody disagree with that? Okay, you were a sinner. Now, when you were a sinner, I don't know what your favorite sin was. Don't care. Don't want to know, right? But you had your sin. Now, some of you, your sin
was you worked Monday through Friday or something like that and you lived for the weekend. You were waiting for that Friday night. And it's amazing. Now, when you Were a sinner, Satan owned you. You had his mind. You had his nature. You had his character. You go, "Well, I wasn't that bad." Oh, you were the worst. Cuz you thought you were somewhat righteous. You thought you were, you know, I'm not that bad. which proves how bad you are because you don't realize how bad sin is. But you say, but you would wait and Friday, man,
you can't wait. That whistle blew or you punched out or Whatever it was Friday 5:00, whatever it is, whatever time you work, man, when you got done, oh man, can't wait. Going to the club tonight. We're going to I'm going to Man, I'm get so drunk. I ain't going to be I'm going to come in Monday with a hangover. It's I'm not even going to remember this whole weekend. I'm going to get so drunk. It's going to be ridiculous, man. I'm going out there. Well, wait a minute. You have a master named Satan. H. So,
you go home. Now, here's what you probably didn't do. You probably didn't go home. Get in your living room, fall down your na on your knees and say, "Oh Lord, Satan, what is thy will for me this weekend? What do you want me to do?" Cuz Satan, if you don't if you want me to get drunk, I will get drunk. But if you don't want me to be drunk, I won't do it because I don't Want to do anything that might upset you. You probably didn't do that. You just went and got drunk and you
thought it was you wanting to do that. And the whole time you had a master that you had his character and then you come to God. I have your spirit. The nature of God. Think about that. And now what do you do? Lord, if you want me to heal the sick, you tell me. Lord, you want me to Prophesy? You tell me, Lord, I don't want to do anything that might be wrong or make you mad or oh Lord, no, you got his nature. What makes it different? Why did you just go do whatever your
nature said to do when you followed Satan and you come to God and all of a sudden now you do have the spirit of fear, not the spirit of God because you're so afraid to do anything. You have his nature. It is the nature of God to want to heal the sick. It is the nature of God to want to feed the hungry. That's his nature in you. You can't love people more than he does. The desire you have in in your heart to help people. That was by God. Philippians 2:13, for it is God
who is in you both to will and to do of his good pleasure. That desire is in you because he's in you. And the very love of God was shed abroad In our hearts by the Holy Ghost. That love in you, the Holy Ghost put that in you. Amen. Do are you getting this? Right. Right. You can live Jesus's life. You can live free in the sense of yes. What I have I give you. Yeah. You can walk up to a person go, "What do you need? What do you want? What can I do for
you?" Think about that. We've got people right now that are in the medical profession. Christians in the medical profession. Why? Well, this is a calling. I don't see it in the Bible. What I see in the Bible, see, is this what you have in you is a desire to fulfill the will and nature of God. Because his will is his nature. His nature is his will. You have it in you to heal the sick, but you're trying to fulfill a spiritual call through natural means. See, you were probably called to operate in the gifts of
Healing, but because the church hadn't emphasized that, oh, you got to go to school and learn how to do that. Well, it, you know, the Lord has called me and he's gifted me and I'm good as a doctor. It's funny though. All the gifts that God gave, he never charged for, but you had to go learn to be a doctor. You got to go pay for that. If that's a gift of God, why you got to pay for it? God doesn't require payment. Amen. That's why he's called a Gift. Are you getting a hold of
this? I'm talking about walking like Jesus, walking free, walk know that wherever you go, we were talking about this a little earlier that I don't know how we think this way. You're going to the grocery store. You're walking through pushing your cart. You hear somebody scream, you look around and there's a dead body just fell over. Just dead. Bam. Right there. Now, the average Christian would have to go over there And look at them and go, "Make sure they're dead. Check this. Dead. Dead. Dead. No heartbeat." Yep. Okay, they're dead. All right. Here's what we're
going to do. Glory to God. Put them in the freezer. I'm going to go fast and pray for three days and I will come back and raise this person from the dead. How many you know they're not going to put them in the freezer? They're not going to be there when you come back. Why? Cuz you don't have time To get ready. You got to live ready. You live ready. They drop over. You go to them and you What am I supposed to do? You know, they got their everybody and they're trying to do the
things and it's like I'll tell you what to do. You walk in and people are going to say, "What are you doing here?" Well, they're not dead as you suppose. They're just sleeping. And these people are going to look at you. Go away. You're crazy. Yeah, that's what they Call my master, too. And I'm just doing what I saw him do. You get that? And then you just speak to him like Jesus spoke to the young man that was being carried out of Naine, the the widow's son. Young man, I say to you, arise. There
you go. Well, I don't want to impose Listen, you're worried about imposing your religion on somebody. Don't impose religion. Demonstrate the Spirit. But they sure ain't concerned about imposing their beliefs on you. They'll sure impose on you. But you got to be able to walk over there and say with a loud voice. You say, "Why loud?" Because you want everybody to hear so they they can all come see your light shine and glorify your father. You don't take them over behind the clothing rack and drag them over there and whisper it. Amen. You want to
bring You want to glorify God. So you can say it with a loud voice if you want. You can say it however you want to say it. But the bottom line is you have to know what's going to happen. You have to know that you were commissioned to do that. That you've been given the badge and the gun. That you're God's policeman to go in and handle the situation. Before we do meetings, before We especially before we do a healing service, I always first off command for the devil. There will be no demonic manifestations. Why?
Because this ain't the devil's show. It's Jesus's show. Amen. You You can get 50 people healed. One person will manifest a demon and everybody will go out talking about how the demon manifested. And they're glorifying the demon more than they are God's work. So, we forbid them to Manifest. And when we do minister to them, it takes a couple of minutes at at the most. That's when we showed the video about the woman that was there that she just began manifesting and within about a minute and a half we had it done. But not only
that, but also command thing come out, got her born again, got her filled with the Holy Spirit, and when she got back up, she was free and now she was a Christian. Amen. Why? See, well, but casting out devils takes a long time for you. Why? Because you believe that. Yeah. If you believe it's going to take all day, bring a sack lunch. It's going to take you all day. Does this make sense? You get what you believe. So, you believe for the instant. Go for the instant. Push for the instant. Amen. Now, let's keep
going here. Go back to 1 Corinthians. We were In 1 Corinthians chapter 2:13. Paul is still talking. He had just said that they speak the wisdom of God. That's the main thing there. And he said, "Which things also we speak." Now notice he said, "These things have been revealed to us by the spirit of God." So we can know what God has freely freely given to us. Which things also we speak. So, we'll come back to that. So, which things we also we speak, not in the Words which man's wisdom teaches, but which the Holy
Ghost teaches, comparing spiritual things with spiritual, but the natural man receives not the things of the spirit of God, for they are foolishness unto him. Neither can he know them, because they are spiritually discerned. That's why your unsaved, non-spiritfilled relatives think you're crazy when you start talking about speaking in other tongues. They're Natural and they don't receive the things of the spirit of God and they seem like foolishness. But he that is spiritual judges all things. Yet he himself is judged of no man. For who hath known the mind of the Lord that, now get
this, for who hath known the mind of the Lord that he may instruct him? What's the next word? But but see that scripture, who hath known the mind of the Lord that he may instruct him? Old testament, old Covenant. But the new covenant is we have the mind of Christ. Do you see that? So the principle is this. Usually when you see an old covenant verse quoted in the New Testament, many most of the time there's a but afterwards which means this is part of the change from the old covenant to the new. Remember we
have a new covenant, a better covenant based on better promises. Amen. So he's saying, listen, that's what was said before. This is what's true now. Things have changed. Amen. Now, let's keep going. He goes right into 1 Corinthians chapter 3 verse one. Paul says, "And I, brethren, so we know they're brethren, now listen carefully, could not speak unto you as unto spiritual, but as unto carnal, even as unto babes in Christ." So now we know that a carnal Christian is the equivalent of a baby in Christ. right now. For you are yet, oh, I'm sorry,
verse two. I have fed you with milk and not with meat. For hitherto you were not able to bear it, neither yet now are you able. Stop right there. Paul is writing to the Corinthians. Now, you have to realize, see, we know all this. We've read it and we get it. When the Corinthians got this, they were getting A letter and they were reading it for the first time. Paul here at the first says, "You're carnal. You're babies. I've had to feed you milk because you're babies." Now watch. And now he says, "And I I
cannot I have not been able to give you meat. And even now you can't bear it." Right? So that means that in the entire letter of first Corinthians, no meat. no meat. Do you get that? They didn't Change from the time he started writing the letter to the time he got to the end of writing it. They didn't change. They hadn't even received it yet. Do you get that? Right. So, they started babies, they ended babies. When they finished the letter, they were still babies. They they would only grow if they actually put into practice
what he said in the letter. But if he said, "I can only give you milk. I cannot give you meat." then that means he didn't put any meat in There. Is that right? Now, if he didn't put meat in, you can't pull meat out. Is that right? You can't you can't take out what wasn't put in. So, there's no meat. Now, don't don't get scared. Okay? Watch. It gets good. He says, now he's going to tell them why. Now if you remember what Jesus said, Jesus said, "I have many things to speak to you." He
said, "I can't talk to you now because you can't bear them." Remember that. Why? Because he was talking to normal natural man. He said, "Now think about this." He said, "If I told you what was going to happen with my resurrection, then you would have the the princes of this world, I would have spoken it and the princes of this world would not have crucified the Lord of glory." Is that right? So Jesus couldn't tell him because it would have stopped the plan. And he said, "You're natural and you wouldn't understand it. So it's A
waste for me to tell you." So, but he said, "But when I send the spirit, he will tell you and guide you into all truth." So then later Saul gets saved. And when Saul gets saved, now he becomes Paul. He goes out, spends time with God. The spirit of God reveals the things that Jesus couldn't talk about. So the writings of Paul are the extended teachings of Jesus. That's right. You get that? Now, what what was Paul's message? The new creation, the new man, This new what happened at the new birth. That's why a lot
of people spend a lot of time in the in the Gospels, and that that's good to do. But I spend most of my time in the epistles. Why? Because that's about who I am. Now, when I go back to the Gospels, I look at how Jesus lived out who I am now. And that gives me ideas of how to live it out. But I go in and he tells me in the epistles who I am now what he did in me. Now watch this because he says here in verse three, Well let me verse two.
I have fed you with milk, not with meat. For hither too you were not able to bear it, neither yet now are you able. For you are yet still carnal. What is carnal? Carnal means to be fleshminded. It means to be sense your senses. In other words, to be carnal. The word carno comes from the word uh as we say even in Spanish sometimes carne which means meat or flesh. So if you are carnally minded you are physically minded that means you Walk by sight senses rather than by faith which is spirit. So when he
says see that's why you read the doctor's report and you say oh he says I'm going to die. But you well but whose report are you going to believe? Because according to Isaiah 53, it says, "Whose report shall you believe? And to whom is the arm of the Lord revealed?" Well, the arm of the Lord is the power of God. Right? So, to whom is the power of God revealed? Whoever believes the Lord's Report. He answered his own question. And so, you have to decide which report you're going to believe. You're going to believe what
the doctor said, you're going to believe what God said. That's your choice. Now, if you go by what the doctor said or if you go by what your feelings tell you, you are carnally minded. Flesh minded. He that is carnal. Okay. He that minds the things of the flesh. Isn't that right? Is carnal. If you mind the things of the spirit, then You are spiritually minded. Amen. Are you with me so far? So now notice he goes on and he says, "For you are yet carnal. You yet go by your senses. you yet let your
body tell you what you are rather than let the word of God tell you what you are. For whereas there is among you envying and strife and divisions are you not carnal? Now we know aspects of being carnal and walk as men and that's strange. I mean how are we supposed to Walk? Well, you're never told to walk as men. Matter of fact, the full meaning of this word walk as men actually means to walk as mere mortal men. And he's you're never told to walk as a man. You were told to walk as sons
of God holding forth the word of life. See, you're not you're not told to walk as men. Now, there were times when he said, you know, be like a man and don't be foolish and don't be childish and things like that, but he never says Walk as a man. Jesus came to deliver you from walking as a man and to deliver you into walking as a son of the living God. Amen. Now he goes on. He says,"For while one says, "I'm of Paul and another I'm of Apollos. Are you not carnal? Who then is Paul?
And who is Apollos, but ministers by whom you believed, even as the Lord gave to every man?" Now, he said all this. Now, get This. This is chapter three. And then nine chapters later in chapter 12, he gives us the list of the gifts of the spirit. Do you got that? after he calls them carnal babies says you've got ending and all that stuff. So this idea of we got to get everything just right before God will manifest. No, no, no, no. Let me tell you, he manifest when everything's all wrong if you'll trust him.
Amen. You don't have to know Everything. You just have to trust and and decide to grow. See, if you won't grow, it doesn't matter. Why would he show you anything if you're not going to grow? Okay. God didn't send me halfway around the world to tell you the same thing you've heard before. That'd be a waste of my time, waste of your time, waste of his time. Amen. That make sense? Okay. Now, notice. Go with me. Go with me to Hebrews chapter 5. Real quick. Hebrews 5, verse 11. Can I jump in the middle? You
should go back and read the whole thing, but notice because it's important that we keep this in context. Hebrews chapter 5:1 of whom we have many things to say. Now he's talking about MelkiseDC at this point in Jesus. And hard to be uttered seeing you are dull of hearing. Now notice he's saying, listen, there's things we want to say, but it's hard for Me to say it not because it's hard for me to say, but it's because you're dull of hearing. You get that? He said, I can say it, but you wouldn't get it because
you Now watch. He says, "For when for the time you ought to be teachers," why? Because that's what Jesus said to do. You have need that one teach you again. So they knew this. Which be the first principles of the oracles of God. Notice he said, "You should be operating in the principles of God." Okay? And now watch this. and or become such as have need of milk and not of strong meat. So what are we talking about here? Meat and milk. Remember that what Paul told them. I can give you milk, can't give you
meat. Now watch. But strong. Oh, let me go back to verse 13. For everyone that uses milk is unskillful in the word of righteousness. So he says, "As long as you stay in the milk, you're unskillful." Unskillful Means you don't know how to do something, how to do. You get that? Let me just tell you, you are never told to desire meat. The Bible says, "But desire the sincere milk of the word that you may grow by thereby." You get that? You're never told to desire meat. You're only told to desire milk. Why? Because this
100% milk. No meat. No meat. Paul just said it right There in First Corinthians. And it wasn't just First Corinthians, but I'm making a point. This is milk. Why? Because he said, "As long as you're," now get this. As long, let me get it right. Everyone that uses milk is unskillful in the word of righteousness. In other words, as long as you're as long as you don't know how to do this, as long as you're not doing this, this is the word of righteousness. What is the word of righteousness? Your standing With God. How you
where you your position in God. You are righteous. You can walk righteously. Do you get that? It says, "As long as you use milk." Now, get this. As long as I can only feed you milk, then you're unskillful in the word of righteous. Means the milk. If you're hearing the milk and all you're doing is hearing the milk, you're not doing it and you're unskillful. Watch. Hang on. He says verse 14. But strong Meat belongs to them that are of full age, mature. Now get that. Milk goes to babies. Meat goes to mature. You got
that? Now what is maturity? Well, Paul answers it. Even those who by reason of use have their senses exercised. That word exercise means to exercise or to train or to discipline. Now notice, strong meat belongs to them that are mature, even those who by reason of use. So you take this milk and you read the milk and you study the milk and you decide this milk is for me and I can grow by this milk. How do you grow? You learn what you can do. You learn who you are. You learn what you have. And
by reason of use, you start putting into practice what you read. Notice it doesn't say by reason of knowledge. It isn't just knowledge. is by reason of use. Now watch have their senses. What what does it what does that mean? That means the carnal person who is driven by their senses is now having their senses trained so that they're no longer led by their senses. They're your senses are trained so that whenever your senses tell you something, you say, "No, shut up." Yeah. Do you get that? You discipline yourself. Yes. You say, "I don't want
to go to prayer meeting." Shut up. We're Going. We're going to go pray right now. We're going to pray in tongues. Yes. And we're going to pray for an hour. And I'm going to time it. I'm going to pray for an hour. I don't want to pray for We can't pray. Are we going to do it now? Yeah, we're going to do it. We're going to do it right now. We can't do it now. My My show's coming on. I want to do it later. Shut up. We will do this. Remember Jerry Seville One time
talking about how when he first started he he had to get up early in the morning because it was the only quiet time and he'd get up and there was nowhere he could go pray but he wanted to pray but every time he'd go in he would get down on the floor and he'd fall asleep again. He couldn't stay awake and he got so mad at himself. He kept saying, "Man, I can hear Jesus saying, couldn't couldn't thou not wake Terry with me one hour." And he said, "I I had to do." So he said,
"I got an idea." He went into his bathroom and he went over there and he got up on the bathtub right on the edge and he spoke to himself and said, "Now body, fall asleep." He said, "Cuz if you fall asleep now, you're going to fall and bust your head open." He said he was able to stay and pray for an hour. That's what he did. You got to train yourself. Your flesh thinks it's in Control. Your f I don't want to do that. I don't want to do this. I don't want to talk to
people. I don't want to go witness. I don't want to go lay hands on the sick. I don't want to do that. Well, then you got to be like David. Bless the Lord, oh my soul, and all that is within me. Amen. What was he doing? He was talking to his soul. Bless the Lord, oh my soul. So bless the Lord. So wake up. You will bless the Lord. I don't feel like bless. Shut up. Bless the Lord. See, you got to do that sometimes. Sometimes in public and people look at you like that person's
crazy. They are talking to themselves. Well, just walk down the street. You see people talking themselves all the time. Ain't that right? And they think they're crazy, so they'll think you're crazy. Now, here's the good thing about people thinking you're crazy. They won't mess with You. They will leave you alone if they think you're crazy. Make it work for you. Amen. But see, now we even have an excuse. Now you see people walking through the mall and they're talking to themsel. No, they're not. They got this little thing in their ear and they're talking on
the phone to somebody. So now you can talk to yourself and they think you're talking to somebody else. They would even think you're crazy anymore. You can just talk and talk. Matter of fact, I've done this before. I've I actually have, you know, I've got some earbuds, right? I don't use them all the time, but I'll especially if I'm by myself, I don't use them, but a lot of times I'll do I'll put one in. It's not even charged. It's not even on. I just put it in and then walk up next to a person.
You ever walk and start talking when you walk up to them? Yeah. I know what I'm sure that Well, Yeah, but that's what the Bible says. And you walk real next to him. Well, that's what the Bible says. No, the Bible says if you if you don't repent, that's what it says. I Yeah, I don't You've got to repent. Wise as serpents, harmless as doves. Amen. There's all kinds of ways you can do it. There's all kinds of way you can start talking about things, right? And tell and do that. You can walk them. Yeah,
I Saw man. They got out of a wheelchair, walked off. God, power of God just hit him. There we go. Healed. Oh, yeah. Yeah. I've seen the dead raced. Talk to talk to next week. They were like see when I'm on a plane a lot of times, especially when I used to fly by myself a lot. Now, I usually have somebody around me, but when I got on the plane, I had to decide if I wanted to talk to people or not. And so, if I wanted to talk to people, then I could, You know,
how are you doing? How you doing? Yep. Yeah. Okay. What's your job? This is your job. That and then, but if I don't want see, if I if I don't want to talk, I know what to say. They'll say, "Well, what do you do? I'm a preacher." Thank you. They don't want to talk. But here's what I do. I did this on the way back from Kenya one time. I'm sitting in the plane and this guy is sitting next to Me, right? And I didn't want to talk, but I wanted to get something to him,
you know, just share and see where he's going. And so you sit there and you talk to them. Well, what do you do? Well, I do this. What do you do? And see, when they ask you what you do, if I know if I say I'm a preacher, they're going to shut down. They're just going or they'll start talking very religious. Yes, that's a hard life. I'm like, are you kidding me? My Hard life was when I served the devil. This is a great life. This is totally different. But then you tell them and it's
funny. See, I don't tell them I'm preacher. I'll sit there and I'll say I look around like I'm going to tell them a secret because everybody wants a secret, right? And I've actually done that. Look around like And it's funny because they'll look around too. I don't know what they're looking at. They will look around with You and you say, "Here's what I do." You whisper. So, you get low, right? Cuz then then they'll lean over and they're like, "Oh, yeah. Tell me. Go ahead. Tell me tell me a secret." I go around the world
and I put these hands on on people and their bodies change and they're like I mean they're amazed and they're really Yeah. Yeah. I've even put them on dead Bodies and they got up. What? How do you do that? in the name of Jesus. Amen. When I walk into my bank back home, the the tellers, first thing I say, when I get back home, I'll be having been gone a month. When I get back, I'll walk in there and they're going to say, "Oh, Mr. Blake, where where'd you go?" They went to South Africa. But
every time I go off on a Trip, I come back and I say, "Where'd you go this time? Where have you been?" I said, "Well, let me show you." And I'll whip out my phone and I'll show the testimonies. Somebody getting out of a wheelchair, somebody, you know, whatever healings take place, show them visible things, right? And they're like, "Oh." And all the tellers will gather around and watch the video. And then so I took in a bunch of my books and gave them out and I walk in the bank and they're Sitting there reading
my book. Why? I'm discipling them. They don't even go to my church. He didn't say go into the church and disciple church people. He said disciple all nations, all ethnic groups. Amen. You need to disciple the people where you buy your coffee in the morning. You need to disciple people at the grocery store. How do you do that? You don't have to go in there. All right, now sit down. Let's We're going to study this. We're You Don't have to do that. You just share. Why? You keep planting seed. Keep planting seed. You plant, somebody
else waters, God brings a harvest. Amen. Just share. Just share life. It's life. And people say, "Well, what if they don't believe you? What if they don't?" So, what does that get? I treat everybody like they're saved. Why? Because I'm seeing the end result. I don't look after my sight. I don't look at them the way they are. I look at the Them the way they should be. And I call greatness out of them. I call God out of this is what God's got for you. And this is how and then I start talking to
them about that. That's what I try to do wherever I go to, you know, any of the stores and that kind of stuff we go into. Now, I'm I'm like I said, I'm not a I'm not an extrovert. I'm really introverted, but I I love people enough that I will share with them and talk with them. Now, if they reject, okay, Move on, right? They're not hungry. Can't catch a non-hungry fish, right? The fish got to be biting. Just that simple. Now, let's keep going. Are y'all with me so far? Okay, now watch this. He
said here, this is Hebrews 5. He said, "But strong meat belongs to them that are of full age, even those who by reason of use have their senses exercised to discern both good and evil." You hear that? Your senses have to be able to discern. That's God. That's not. This is right. That's wrong. This is good. This is evil. You have to have your senses exercised to know that. See, your senses can know that. It's not hidden. It's not some weird thing. Right now watch. Then you go right in to Hebrews chapter 6 verse one.
Therefore, leaving the principles, the basics, the fundamentals of the doctrine of Christ, let us go on unto perfection, maturity, not laying again the foundation of repentance from dead Works, and of faith toward God, of the doctrine of baptisms, plural, and of the lay and of laying on of hands, and of resurrection of the dead, and of eternal judgment. Notice these are all basics. You get that? These are basics. This isn't a high developed stuff. These are all basics. He said, "Let's go beyond that." Imagine if we didn't have to teach faith in God. Why? Because
everybody's doing it. Everybody has faith in God and they're Actually living by faith. Imagine what that would be like. Okay? Imagine what our church services would be like. Be totally different. Go with me to John chapter 4. John chapter 4. We're going to start in verse 5. Now, if I show it to you in your Bible, will you believe it? If you can read it for yourself, will you believe it? Okay. Now, now, as I've already told you before, uh this book here is Available. So, I'm just letting you know. Now, John chapter 4. Okay,
I'm going to stop right here for a second. Have you found John 4? Yes. Okay, hang your hang hang on. They're right there. Has anybody kept count of how many times I said this book is available? Several times. And yet there it still sits. [Music] Praise God. Now, now notice this. His faith just profited him that book. What was his faith? You said, "Well, it didn't take much faith. You just said it's available." And he and I went and got it. That's faith. All the promises, amen, are in him, yes. And in him, so be
it. They're all right there. They're just laying there waiting for somebody to pick them up. By these precious promises, Exceeding great and precious promises, we become partakers of the divine nature of God. That's how you do that. You you you take these for yourself. Now, all I said was it's available. But notice I had to say it several times. Anybody could have got up at any time. Ain't that right? Anybody could have got up. I said it. Said it's available. But what did you hear? It said it's for sale back there. Is that what I
said? That's not what I said. I Said I said this book. This book. I didn't say those books. I didn't say these books. I said this book is available. That's faith. Do you get that? Oh ye of little faith, why did you doubt? [Music] So you had faith for a little bit, but faith has to go to the completion. Now, now Watch this. This is fun, but that's not the purpose. Notice how long it sit the first book sat there until somebody came and got it. Is that right? Notice the second book didn't sit there
near that long. Why? Because you saw somebody else that did it. Once you see somebody else do it, see the time between each one got shorter and shorter. Why? Your faith grew. Do you see that? You see how easy that Is? Now just apply that to the scripture. Amen. That's faith. That's how you do faith. And guess what? That pleased God. That pleased God. I mean, do you understand that? Please God. Your faith pleases God. Now, it profits you, but it pleases God. Amen. Does it make sense? You're going to remember this now. Why are
you going to remember it? because you saw it. Amen. Now, let's keep going. Now, go back to John chapter 4. John chapter 4 verse 5. Verse 5 says, "Then cometh he, Jesus, to a city of Samaria, which is called Sukarot, near to the parcel of ground that Jacob gave to his son Joseph. Now Jacob's well was there. Jesus therefore being wearied With his journey sat thus on the well and it was about the sixth hour. Now see I love the Bible. I man it's so amazing. Not notice how accurate he says there was a well
there and Jesus being wearied with his Now you have to understand John John didn't write this John was telling someone who wrote it for him okay he said how do you know that because look at the Words Jacob's well was there now picture John speaking this because he's remembering it Jesus therefore being wearied with his journey, sat thus on the well. Now, see, if he's just telling the story, he wouldn't say sat thus. He would say he sat on the well. But when it says he sat thus, John preaching this demonstrating demonstrated how Jesus sat
on the well because that's why he said sat thus. So he said and Jesus being wearied in his Journey sat thus on the well. That's how real this is. That's how accurate the word of God is. That it gives these details that nobody would think to put in, but God remembered. And the Holy Spirit is speaking through John and he's remembering it. And then he's having somebody else write it down. That had nothing to do with the point of the story. Just emphasizing the reality of the word of God. You can believe the word of
God. Amen. Amen. He says here verse 7, "There cometh a woman of Samaria to draw water. Jesus saith unto her," give me to drink. For his disciples were gone away into the city to buy meat, buy food. They were going to go buy food. Then saith the woman of Samaria unto him, "How is it that you being a Jew ask drink of me which am a woman of Samaria? For the Jews have no dealings with the Samaritans. Jesus answered and said unto her, "If you knew the gift of God and who it is that says
to you, give me to drink, you would have asked of him, and he would have given you living water." Now, let's talk about this living water for just a second before we jump back in here. In the Jewish culture, when they said living water, that meant running Water. That's why John baptized in the river Jordan because there was much water and it wasn't a stagnant pond. It was running water. And here Jesus tells this woman, "If you knew who I am, you would have asked me and I would have given you living water, moving water,
water that's moving. Out of your belly shall flow rivers of shall flow not stagnant. These the Holy Spirit these living waters are Moving. Do you hear that? You do not have to wait for the troubling of the water like at the pool of Bethesda. That was stagnant water. It was still water and the angels had to come down and move it. No, no, no. This is living water. It's always flowing. It's always moving. The problem is the church won't move. See, you're not waiting on God to move. God's waiting on you. Do you get that?
Why? Because it's Living water or rivers flowing out of you. Listen, he was here way before you got here. He'll be here after you're gone, probably. So, what does that mean? You ain't you you're not waiting on him. He's waiting on you. If anything, you got to catch up and start running because Paul said, "Run this race." Amen. You've got to realize we're not waiting. Jesus only told his disciples, "Wait one Time." He said, "Wait until that means you wait and then you stop waiting and then you go." Is that what he said? Yes. And
the problem is he said at one time the church waited and hadn't moved since. We even sing songs. I shall not be I shall not be moved. Yes, we know it's amazing. Okay, so let's keep going. He said, "If you'd have known who I am, You'd have asked me and I'd have given you living water." The woman verse 11 the woman saith unto him sir you have nothing to draw with and the well is deep from whence then hast thou that living water so she wasn't getting it right cuz he wasn't talking about water in
a bucket now watch he says she asked him are you greater than our father Jacob which gave us the well And drank thereof himself and his children and his cattle. She just asked Jesus if you're greater than Jacob. Now, now notice Jesus' response. He's the only one that could have said, "Yep, you got it. Yes, I am." But notice his response. He didn't say that. Instead, Jesus answered and said unto her, "Whosoever drinks of this water shall thirst again." Notice he had no ego. He had nothing to prove. He didn't have to go, "Yes, I
am you. I am the Messiah." You notice he didn't do that. She just asked him if you're greater than our than our father Jacob. And he didn't go, "Yeah." No. He had no ego, nothing to prove. He cared more about her than he did some title or some position or or even his calling. Think about that. Why? Because he was doing his calling. to a Samaritan people who the Jews had no dealings With. He says to her, watch this. He said, "If whosoever drinks of this water shall thirst again," talking about the water in the
well. Now listen, "But there's the word but." Yes. Whosoever drinks of the water, now what's that water? The spirit. Is that right? that I shall give him shall never thirst. Is that what it says? Did you read it in your Bible? So if you drink of the water Jesus Gives, you will never thirst. So how can we say, "I'm thirsty." What? Remember the old songs? I hadn't heard them in a long time. Thank God. Oh Lord, we live in a dry and thirsty land. Lord, my soul pants after you as the heart. Lord, we got
all this stuff. If that's you, if you're thirsty, come drink. They'll never thirst again. That's why people get mad at me. Why? Because I don't do that. I don't thirst. I hungered and I thirsted after righteousness and I was filled and now I'm filled. And guess what? According to Ephesians, I am be being filled. That's right. With the spirit. And how do I be being fil? Because it's in the constant tense. Be being filled. How am I constantly being filled? By speaking to myself in psalms, hymns, and spiritual songs. I had to learn to be
like David and encourage myself in the Lord. Why? Because there were times when Ain't nobody around me encourage me. And I couldn't wait for somebody to give me a word. I had to encourage myself. And I had to talk to myself. So why are you downcast? Who cares what people think about you? Who cares what people say about you? Who cares if they don't want to hear you preach? Who cares if they don't want to hear what you got to say? I'm not waiting for some man to go, "Good sermon." I'm waiting to hear, "Well
done." That's what I'm waiting for. Because that's the only response that counts. Amen. Let's keep going. He says, now watch. Here's how we prove it. He says, "Whosoever drinks this water, thirst again. But whosoever, verse 14, drinkkeeth of the water that I shall give him shall never thirst, but the water that I shall give him shall be in him a well of water springing up into Everlasting life." So now we know that the water he's giving is the spirit and it is everlasting life. So we know he's talking about being born again. Do you get
that? He's talking about you have an eternal life. When you have eternal life, you will not thirst again. Now, here's the thing. You say, "Wait, but but we thirst. We talk about it. We sing about it. We It's all thirst." It's because we have the wrong words. You're not thirsty. You've been Told what you are experiencing is thirsty, but you're not thirsty. What you are is zealous. You have a zeal for the things of God. You want to do things for God. You want to show God your gratitude, and you have a desire, and you
have all these things. But listen carefully, thirst and hunger and these kind of things, listen, you can never fulfill them because it's not thirst and hunger, it's Zeal. And so, and the reason you ever noticed that we will do that over and over and over and over and nothing changes. Why? Because it's zeal, not hunger. He said, "If you're hungry, you shall be filled." Well, when does that happen? Someday, somehow, somewhere? No. No. It happened when you received him. And then when he put the zeal of the Lord comes into you and that zeal makes
you now here's the thing you can fulfill zeal if you know what to do if you know How to do it. See to fulfill zeal you see if you're always saying I'm hungry then you're going to be always hungry because you have what you say especially if you believe it and if you're saying that you believe it. Amen. But if once you realize that what you think you've been having with hunger, once you realize that zeal, you go, "Well, I can fix zeal. I can do something with zeal." How do you how do you do
something with zeal? You go do The word. When you go do it, there's that satisfaction there. Why? Because the Bible says that he satisfies. Amen. Listen, you can study the rest of your life and you can become learners and you can learn and learn and learn and always learning and never coming to a knowledge of the truth. Yeah, but that's not who we're supposed to be. Do you want to be sitting here in the same condition next year that you're in This year? No, you should grow. And as you grow, then things change in you.
Listen, I don't spend I love what Jesse said. I I'm telling you what I said last night because I I've actually said this many times. I was in the Turks and Caos. I wanted to take a week and just spend time with God and just focus. So I went there by myself. We had a friend that owned a house there and he's always told me if you ever want To go, he's got houses like all over the place. He said, "You ever want to go to Jamaica? I got a house. You want to go to
Miami, I got a house for you. You want to you want to go to Turks and Caos? I got a house. You can just let me know where you want to go and you can go there and stay there. You just get there and you'll stay there." I'm like, "Great." I said, "Turks and Caos, let's go." Weather is constantly the same all the time. It's It's literally 83 degrees Year round and and then every now and then, every other day or something, it'll rain for about 30 minutes and then it's gone. And and the house
he had was like 2 minutes from the beach. You can go and it's all private beaches, so it's not like people everywhere. This is your families that live there. So, it's quiet. It's peaceful. And he said, "Now, I got a friend, a man's going to pick you up. He's going to pick you up at the Airport. He'll take you to the house. There's a van at the house because the whole island's like five miles long. I mean, it's one street, right? He said, "You can use the van to go eat. You can use the van
to go do whatever you want to do." He said, "But my friend would like to pick you up the first night. He's going to pick you up at the airport, take you to the house, then he'd like to pick you up and take you to eat." And he has some questions because He didn't know anything about me or any of that kind of stuff. And they they they told him some stuff he wanted to ask me questions. I said, "Okay." And and I would have never guessed it, but he said and he told me, he
said, "You would never guess it about this man. this man is a multi-millionaire. I'm like, "Okay." And he said, "But he's got some questions." I said, "Okay." So, he picks me up the airport and he was right. I Would have never guessed. I mean, this was a beat up truck. He was dressed extremely normal. It was amazing. And he's just real down to earth, real friendly. I mean, just great guy. And so, we get he takes me to the deal and then later on he picks me up. We go out to eat. It's this little
restaurant. And then on the way back to the hotel or the uh house, he says, "You know, I got some questions." He his mother Was Jewish and his dad was Christian and he said, "My mother made sure that I knew the Torah." So he'd gone through it. And he said, "And then she made me study Proverbs." So he said, "I don't know much. I'm not," he said, "I'm I'm a Christian." But he said, "But I I know the Torah and I know Proverbs." And man, he knew Proverb. I mean, this guy knew Proverbs, right? And
he was talking about said, I Said, 'Well, that's that's a good book to know because that's that's there's the wisdom, right? And so, we're writing and he says, "But you know, I've had some problems with finances lately with some businesses that weren't doing right and that kind of stuff." And he said, "You know, how how would how would I pray about these things?" And I I said, "Well, I I said, I really can't help you there." He said, "Well, why?" I said, "Cuz I haven't Prayed for my own needs in years." And it is so
funny cuz I that's I said, "I I I don't pray for my needs." And we're driving down this road and the road is two lane and it's got potholes and we're bouncing around and we're driving and I say that to him and he looks at me and he veers off the road into the dirt on the side and slams on the brakes and I'm like, "Man, what's what's going on?" He said, he then he stops and he turns and looks at me. He Goes, "What? What do you mean you don't pray for you?" How do
how do you do that? I said, 'Well, God said he would supply all my need. If he supply all my need, why would I spend my time doing that? I said, the Bible doesn't say to ask for your needs. Bible says whatsoever things you desire. I said, that's what I talk to God about. I don't talk to God about my needs. He say he's going to take care of it. For me to go, are you going to Take care of my need? See, that's that's doubt and unbelief. Come on. That's whenever he starts that. I
mean, think about it. Think about your children. Are you going to feed me? You going to feed me today? Are we going to eat today? Are we going to eat? When are you going to feed me? After a while, you're going to go, "Would you shut up?" You know, "No, you're not going to eat. I'm going to make sure." No, you're going to go to bed without supper. That's what you're going to do. You know, it was just It's amazing how we do God that way. And we think it's okay. And you're actually calling him
a liar. Because he said, "I will supply all your need." Amen. your job is just to believe that. And so I told him, I said, I I don't ask for my needs. I said, I I pray my desires. And and but then I told him, I said, but guess what I desire? I desire the church to grow. I desire Bible Schools to be planted. I desire churches to be planted. I desire the body of Christ to grow up. See, that's what I spend my time praying about. I don't pray about my needs. And if a
part of the body of Christ needs me, he supplies my need to get me there. And I go there and teach and train and equip them and go up. And I said, "But I haven't prayed about my needs in years." And he was just he he's like, "How?" He just it was Foreign to him at that point. And so, but then he got a hold of it and he started going more that direction of recognizing. Now I will also tell you there's a lot of things I don't pray for that I just speak. See there's
saying and there's praying. If there's a problem I don't pray about my problems. Why? He said you speak to the mountain. He didn't say pray about the mountain. He said speak to the mountain. So I speak to it and I tell it to move. Amen. Now if you take away all that kind of stuff that you don't need to pray about, that leaves a whole lot of time to talk to God. So I get to talk to God. I commune with him and I fellowship with him in the sense of you're amazing. You're awesome, man.
The things I've seen you do and I go and I relive these things and I I go back through them and I remind him again and again and I said if you ever get tired of hearing these then Uh I'll be glad to take some more miracles. I said the more you give me the more I'll brag on you about. And so I but I spend my time communion. See now I spend my time in communion with him. I every time he sees me coming, he's not gonna go, "Oh, here he comes again." I said,
"I don't want to be that guy." One of one of my son-in-laws is he said, "You know those people that always every time you see them, they go, "Hey, uh, you know this problem, that problem, this thing, you got this, you're always trying to borrow something." He said, "I tell you how to fix that." I'm like, "Okay, listen." He goes, "When they walk up, before they say anything, say, "You got $5 I can borrow?" And you ask them. He said, "Pretty soon they'll avoid you." I'm like, "That makes good sense." Anyway, so are you with
me on this so far? Now, I'm just going to ask you, are you Feeling the freedom so far? Now, watch. He says, "But whosoever drinks of the water that I shall give him shall never thirst, but the water that I shall give him, it shall be in a well of water springing up into everlasting life." The woman saith to unto him, "Sir, give me this water, that I thirst not, neither come hither to draw." Jesus saith unto her, "Go, call your husband, and come hither." The woman answered and said, "I Have no husband." Jesus saith
unto her, "You have well said, I have no husband, for you've had five husbands. And he whom thou now hast is not thy husband. In that says thou truly." Now, get this. She says that he tells her, "Go get your husband." She goes, "I ain't got one." Right? Now, think about this. He goes, "Yeah, you're telling the truth." Now, watch. He tells her, he reads her mail. Right? And he said, "In this, you said truly the woman, now watch the response is the woman said unto him, sir, I perceive that thou art a prophet." He
just he says the you've had five husbands and the man you're with now ain't your husband. He just revealed her sin. And the first thing she wants to do is, "Wow, you're a prophet." Now watch. She doesn't say, "Oh, wow. Yeah, you're right. I'm wrong. I shouldn't be living this way." She doesn't say that. She says, "The woman said unto him, sir, I perceive you're a prophet. Our fathers worshiped in this mountain, and you say that in Jerusalem is the place where men ought to worship." Now Jesus didn't say that but she said he said
that because he was a Jew. But now notice the first thing she Isn't it amazing a p you can expose a person's sin and especially if they're religious. The first thing they want to do is change a sin. Yeah. Okay. But don't look at that. Let's talk About a religious topic. What do you believe about this baptism? What do you believe about tongues? What do you believe about healing? What do they do? They don't don't look at my sin. No. No. We're going to talk about this doctrine here. Let's talk let's get the attention off
of me and let's transfer it over here. That's how that's what religious people do. It's like people come up and say, "You witness to them. You you need to repent. You need to you want to go to Heaven when you die, don't you?" "Well, what about all the people that haven't heard?" I'm like, "Yeah, that's amazing." I said, "Just a minute ago, you wasn't at all concerned about them. And now all of a sudden you're if you're so concerned about them, why don't you get saved and go preach to them? Why? Because what do they
want to do? Or I need to get saved. Well, what about all them? They ain't concerned with them. They're trying to divert, deflect, get it off of me and put it on them. So, you have to bring it back to them. Okay, you're concerned. Get saved. Go preach. Bring it back to them. Don't let stay on task. Amen. Stay on point. Don't let them. They'll always try to pull you aside onto something else. Don't get involved in it. Just go for the heart. Amen. So he says here, Jesus saith the nerve, verse 21, woman, believe
me, the hour comes when You shall neither in this mountain nor yet at Jerusalem worship the father. You worship, you know not what. We know what we worship, for salvation is of the Jews. But the hour comes, and now is, when the true worshippers shall worship the Father in spirit and in truth. In spirit and truth. And what does that mean? Spirit and truth. In the right spirit, the spirit of God and in truth. What is truth? Thy word is truth. John 17:17. Thy word. So if you're going To worship, you've got to worship in
spirit with your heart toward God. And you've got to worship in alignment with the word of God, the truth. Amen. He said, because many will come and there many worship me in vain. Why? Because they draw nigh me with their lips, but their heart is far from Yes. Oh Lord, we bless you. And we're singing and the whole time we're thinking, "Oh, oh, I wonder if the Camera's gonna get on me. I gotta look spiritual. I gotta look spiritual. I want the camera on me. Oh, what? What?" Close. Okay. And and then you get touched
and you start to fall down. It's amazing. It's like, "Oh, and you're like, come on. Spirit and in truth, man. Just make it real. You want to know how to make it real? Easy. Don't have catchers. Amen. It's like, yeah, if it's real, you won't get hurt. If it's fake, you will. You ever seen people go and they start to fall and they're like, well, oh yeah, the catcher's there. Yeah. Like, oh yeah, whoa, whoa. But I can't fall. Can't fall. Come on. See that? That's We got to get to the real Man. You get
to the real. Listen, once you've been in the fire, smoke won't do, it's just amazing. God wants us to dwell in that. Amen. Amen. Now, let's finish this up because remember all this all the stuff that I've brought to you so far on this part out of uh John 4 here, that's not my point. That was all just extra. Okay, now we're going to get to the point. He says here, God, what it says? But the hour Comes now and is when the true worshipper shall worship the Father in spirit and in truth. For the
Father seeketh such to worship him. God is a spirit. Notice it does not say God is spirit. It says he is a spirit. God is spirit is spiritualism. It's animism. Okay? But God is a particular specific spirit. You got that? And he says here, God is a spirit and they that worship him must worship him in spirit and in truth. And the woman saith unto him, I Know that Messiah comes, which is called Christ, when he has come, he will tell us all things. Jesus saith unto her, I that speak unto thee am he. Jesus
didn't do that all the time. This is amazing. This he's talking to a Samaritan. Now, he could afford to cuz she wasn't a Jew. So, she wasn't going to stir up the thing to get him made king of the Jews. That's why he couldn't tell anybody. That's why he don't tell anybody. He Didn't heal. so that people would know he was God. He healed because it was his nature to heal. And he because if he was trying to prove he was God, he would have said, "Yeah, go tell everybody." But he didn't do that. Most
of the time he said, "Yeah, don't tell anybody what happened." Why? Because if they'd have seen it and knew it, they would have made him king. And he didn't come to be king that time. See, the the sad part is the religious people of the day missed him. They thought he was coming as a David. They thought he was coming as a great military commander and he was going to throw off the Roman rule and Israel was going to be restored. They even asked him at the end, Lord, all right, have you come to restore
the Israel, you know, the kingdom to Israel again. He said, no, it's not that's not now. It's not for you to know that stuff. But now, Get this. They were expecting a great leader, a great warrior to come in and defeat the Romans. And they missed him because he didn't come that way the first time. He came as the lamb to be slain. And and that picture of him as a slain lamb is in Isaiah. But Isaiah also shows him as the coming king. But Isaiah didn't put it together. He couldn't see. It's called the
mountaintops of prophecy. They could see this, they could see That, but they didn't know how it worked. And so the early people, they missed him because they were expecting a warrior and they got a lamb. They were expecting a lion, they got a lamb. And guess what? The church could well miss him the next time because they're expecting a lamb and he's coming as a lion. He's coming as the Lord of hosts. He's coming leading the armies of Heaven. Does that make sense? So he's coming, but the church always seems to get it backwards. He
says here, "I that speak unto thee am he." Verse 27. And upon this came his disciples. Now, where were they? They were they went into town to get food. So, they were already in town, right? And they were coming back. And they marveled that he talked with the woman. Yet no man said, "What seekest thou? Or Why are you talking with her?" The woman then left her water pot and went her way into the city. So, his disciples went into the city while she was at the well. Now, they come to the well, and she's
going into the city, right? and went her way in the city, and saith to the men in the city, "Come see a man which told me all things that ever I did." Now, notice she did not elaborate on the things that she had done, but he said, "He told me all the things." Right? Now, Watch. And it says, "Is not this the Christ?" Then they went out of the city and came unto him. In the meanwhile, his disciples prayed him, saying, "Master, eat." because that's what they went in to get is food. But he said,
now here, listen carefully. Listen, this is going to be this can change your life. But he said unto them, I remember what we were talking about earlier. Milk and meat. I can give you, he said, I can give you milk, but I can't give you Meat. You know why? Fix them to show you. He said unto them, I have meat to eat that you know not of. Therefore said the disciples one to another, Has any man brought him something to eat? Jesus saith unto them, "My meat is to do the will of my father." See,
I can't even give you meat when I'm preaching. All I can do is give you milk. That's why he said, "Desire the sincere milk of The word that you may grow thereby." I can give you milk. No man can give you meat. You decide meat. Listen carefully. When you eat food, you take the food and you ingest it. And when you eat that food, now your body, listen, your body needs energy. And it doesn't care really in what form it gets it. Now, your flesh will like some kinds of food, which it usually isn't the
best for you, but your body is just looking for Energy. That's why most people are way overfed and undernourished. Why? Because they eat food that has no value. That's why. And it's strange because the food that has no value ends up staying with you in your flesh. That's the way it works. Now, get this. You take in food, your body doesn't want food. Your body wants energy. Is that right? That's why you have to eat. You don't eat to eat food. You eat for Energy. Right? How does that energy come? You take the food, you
put it in your mouth, it goes into your body. Your body disintegrates it. Takes it apart. The nutrition is brought out of it, put into your body. So food has to be turned into nutrition. Your food is turned into energy. Is that right? You eat food. You don't eat energy. You eat food. And food once it's in and digest it. Now what does it mean digest it? That means your Body works with it. Your body does something with it. Is that right? So your body is functioning. If your body doesn't function, then the food would
pass straight through and you would starve to death. Is that right? So for your for the food to become energy, there has to be something done to the food for it to become energy. But food actually becomes energy. Is that right? Now you take in the food, it be it's broken down and it's acted upon and then It becomes energy. Now milk, the milk of the word, this is not meat. This is milk. And when you take this milk and you ingest it and you eat the word of God, in other words, you you eat
it. You take it in. Now notice, if you just take it in and your spirit and your body and your soul doesn't do anything with it, then it's still milk. It hadn't been broken down into meat or energy. But whenever you take the milk, Now how do you take the milk? Now get it. You take the milk, you read it, you believe it, you act upon it. When you act upon it, the milk is broken down into energy and becomes meat. Milk cannot become meat until it's acted upon. You cannot get meat until you act
upon the milk. Do you get that? God doesn't give you meat. He gives you milk and you churn it until it becomes butter. All right? You notice that Changes? So here he said my meat, my meat is to do no do no meat. But notice he says you can grow with the milk. How do you grow with the milk? You put it into practice. He that uses milk is unskillful. So it's not, in other words, give me milk. I want milk. Okay, you're unskillful in the word of righteousness. You don't want to do anything. You
just want to hear preaching. You just want to get talked to. You don't want to really do anything. You want your pastor or somebody else to do all your spiritual stuff for you. But bless God, you want to get in a meeting. You want to get excited. You want to wave handkerchiefs. And then you go home the same way you came. Do you understand that? How does that change? You hear the word. You believe The word. You do the word. When you do the word, you're doing the milk. When the when you do the milk,
it becomes meat. And when you when it becomes meat, strong meat is for those of full age. You want to grow up, you got to get strong meat. How do you get strong meat? You do the milk. You want to grow up, you got to do the word. Be ye doers of the word, not hearers only, thereby deceiving your own selves. You notice how you notice the devil doesn't even Deceive you. You deceive yourself. How do you deceive yourself? You you deceive yourself into believing you're a doer of the word when you're just a hearer.
Do you get this? Listen, I am not te I didn't sit down and come up with a sermon for you today. I am telling you what I have done, what I've seen, what what I have experienced. I'm telling you things that I'm not here telling you theories. I'm telling you things that I Know is a truth that work. And if you will do it, it will work for you. If you don't, you know, you can sit there and oh, glory to God, great sermon, and go and eat at lunch and whatever, and the devil will
come immediately to steal the word that was swn in your heart. But instead, when you understand it and you do it, everything changes. Amen. Because then when the devil comes and he goes and see, it's like having This, it's like, okay, oh, bless God. This is, oh, good, good preaching. Good word today. We got it. Well, I I had I heard a sermon. I'm good. And then the devil comes along and goes, "Hey, give me that." And you go, "Okay. Yeah, I guess it wasn't God. I guess it wasn't for me. The will of the
Lord be done." No, no, no, no, no. When that word is delivered to you, because there's a You got to remember Jesus gave a parable Mark chapter 4. He said when The seed is sewn and they receive it with joy, but when the sun comes up and the heat's out, what does that persecution comes for the word's sake? When that's when the trouble comes. And what does that mean? How does that happen? It says that in the parable he said the fowls of the air come and eat it all up. And then later he says
that the thief comes and steals it. Ain't that right? So what? You hear this word on dominion? You hear this word on healing? How do you think he's going to try to steal that word? He's going to try to hit you with sickness. He's going to try to do something to you to make you feel like you're a worm in the dust. Why? Because he's got to steal that word, man. He can't He can't have you believe in this. He can't have you believe in what you've heard this week. Why? You'll destroy his kingdom. He
can't just let that sit. So here you are. You got that word, man. This is sown. Yes. Bless God. And he comes along and goes, "Here, no, you don't need that. That's not true. Give me that." You got to be able to go, "No, you don't. You better get back, devil." Cuz see, it's easy to sit here and go, "Oh, glory to God." But then you walk out there and trouble shows up. Trouble don't show up in here. He's not stupid. If he showed up here, we'd know. He knows we cast him out. He's going
to show up when you go out. He's going to show up tomorrow when you go to work. He's going to show up Monday when you're at work or what. That's see that's when you have to go back to this. Come on. And then you start looking. You go, uh, excuse me, devil. Let me tell you something. Maybe you missed the memo, but it is written. It is written. This is who I am. What you're saying, that don't matter. What I'm saying, I'm saying it's written. This is what counts. Do you understand that? See it? He's
not going to hit you when you're around with all your friends. He's going to hit you with doubt, unbelief, despondency, all you know, despair, all that kind of stuff. He's going to do that when you're by yourself late at night when you're going to bed and you turn out the light and it's dark and your mind starts running. People say a lot of times, Well, you know, I just can't get to sleep. I can't do this. I have this I have these nightmares. I have people all the time, you know, I have nightmares at night
and I can't relate to that. Why? I don't have nightmares. You know why? It's the last thing I read. I get why I'm giving my spirit things to eat and to turn up at night because when I go to sleep, my spirit is still wide awake. My spirit's still wide awake. I'll just Power down a bit, but I'm still awake in my spirit. And I allow him to speak to me. And I'm reading this. And when I wake up in the morning, you know what I wake up with? I wake up with a song. I
wake up with a word. I wake with with a nugget, with a statement, with something and I wake up and it's I don't wake up, hey, here go again. Got to go to work. No, I've I have awakened myself singing while I was asleep. Started Singing and woke myself up. Why? Because this is the last thing I read. I don't watch TV as the last thing I do. I don't read stupid stuff. Why? Because I I feed. Now listen, I'm not feeding my spirit. My spirit doesn't need feeding. My spirit looks and talks and acts
just like Jesus because it's him. It's the Holy Spirit. That's him. What I'm feeding is my soul. And while you're sleeping, your soul is working. And guess what? Physiologically, your mind, it's starting to take the thoughts and the things that are serious that have that have made an impact on you. It keeps those in the front and the stuff that doesn't matter, it's it sorts to the back. It's like a file cabinet. The important stuff is up front. And the things that don't matter, if you don't pull those things out or what you think don't
matter, if you don't pull those things out within a couple of Days, your brain will eat that up and it'll dissolve and it goes and those neurons are gone. But if you feed on this now and you feed on it regularly, it keeps this at the front of the mind and it and it it causes it to be written. Say, "God knew what I'll write it in their mind." Think about that. And that's what it is. It's actually it's it's causing engravings in your brain by your neurological system that co it rewires Your brain. That's
what renewing the mind is. And it rewires you to think different. You can be trained to think doubt and unbelief. And you usually are. Have you ever noticed you you listen? You didn't know about Paul's thorn till you came to church. You didn't learn that at the bus stop. Wasn't somebody down at the bus stop going, "Hey, you ever heard about the Paul's thorn? You ever you ever hear about Timothy's upset stomach? Do you Know Paul left somebody sick somewhere one time?" You didn't learn that out there. You learn it in church and you not
this church. Amen. But you learn it in church. You have to come to church to be inbalmed with unbelief. Why? Because of the doctrines of men. Amen. Is this making sense to you? Yes. Beloved, we've got to change. Now, it may be hard to change at first, but it gets easier as you do it. It's just like sin. First time you know you break that barrier, if you don't break that barrier, you got a defense against it. But every time you break that barrier, the barrier gets lower. Why? It's a repetition. And it gets easier.
The word of God gets easier. Changing gets easier if you're in the repetition of changing when you read it. You read it and go, "Hm, got to change. Yep. All right. Can't say that no more. All right. Can't Do that no more." Now, it's not just getting rid. Listen, get so busy doing the dos, you don't have time to do the don'ts. Come on. That's when it gets fun. Amen. And when somebody says something, your first thought is, let me take care of that. See, not not well, let's let's pray and see what the Lord
will do. No, sit down, shut up, and watch. Why? Well, you know, well, nobody knows what God's going to do. Get born again. Read his word. You want to know what God's going to do? It's right here. This is what he's going to do. See, people, well, you know, his ways are mysterious. Yeah. People that don't know him. If you know him, his ways aren't mysterious at all. His ways are extremely predictable. Amen. Why? What? Okay. What is predictable? Let me give you a biblical word. Faithful. Right. That's what predictable is. See, if you're faithful,
you're predictable. If you're not faithful, see, see, listen. You can't have faithful, predictable, and spiritled be different things. Does that make sense? You can't say, "Well, this is faithful. This is predictable, but who knows what the spirit's going to do?" So, you're telling me the spirit's unpredictable? No. Now, how he does Things, they can surprise you how he does them. But is he going to do them? That ain't no surprise. And I'll be honest with you, if it surprises you, it probably wasn't your faith that brought it about cuz faith ain't surprised. Amen. Are you
getting a hold of this? Man, you can walk out of here way stronger than you walked in. Come on. And that's the will of God. That you be strong in his power and in the power of His might. Amen. Amen. Quit leaning to your own understanding. See, this is why many times I hear this all the time, but I'm telling you, listen, I I love you enough to tell you the truth. I don't welcome I don't invite the Holy Spirit because I can't find that here. I acknowledge him in all my ways. I acknowledge him
at the grocery Store. You're with me. Whatever you can do, I can do. Why? Because it's your power I'm working in. Yeah. What are we here? Well, you know, without Jesus, you know, we can do nothing without him. Yeah. So, why do you need to say that? We don't we don't need your nothing. Amen. Why don't you go to the other side? But with him, we can do all things. I can do all things through Christ which strengthens me. You get That? See, why do we always emphasize, well, without him, see, we try to be
humble. Well, without him, without him, we can do nothing. We know that. We've seen your nothing. Amen. And we don't want your nothing. See, the part of Christianity that people don't like is the part of you that's left. They they see Jesus, you go out there and be Jesus the people, they will love You. But if you go out there and you be you, they ain't going to like you. So, it's no longer you that live, but Christ. See, this is a it's a way of life. This is not a service. It's a way of
life. It's living his life. Amen. And he gets to listen. The thing he wants to do most is live his life through you. That's what he wants. Amen. Praise God. Why? Because he still wants to be about his Father's business. He still wants to do the things he's always done. He still wants to heal the sick and raise the dead, cast out devils. Amen. Amen. Amen. So, finishing up now, watch this. He says, "Jesus saith unto them, verse 34, my meat is to do the will of him that sent me, and to finish his work."
Now watch this. Say not ye, there are yet four months, and then cometh the harvest. He says, "Don't listen. Are you Saying it?" He says, "Don't you say there are four months?" He says, "Listen, I'm pointing out something. You've heard it said, but I'm saying unto you." You notice how many times Jesus did that? You've heard it said, but I say unto you. You've heard it said. Notice he didn't never say, um, it is written, but I say unto you. He never said that. Why? Because he always said it is written. But he said, what
you've heard, uh, that's been wrong. But this Is right. Now, if it's written, it's right. But notice it went from written to said. And he said, "You've heard it said, but I say unto you." Think about that. Then he says here, here, "Don't you say there are yet four months, and then cometh harvest?" He goes, "Behold, listen. Behold, look, take notice. Don't let it slip. I say unto you, lift up your eyes. Look on the fields. They are white already to harvest." Why do you put it off till tomorrow? Why you put it Off? Well,
we got time. Well, we got this. Well, you know, this is going to happen. No, no, no. Now look at the harvest today. Well, you know, it's hard though. You know, we got to go plant the seed. We got to No, no. He said at the end of time, there'll be a time when the reapers overtake the harvesters or the the swers. Do you get that? We can live in that time. Now, we can overtake the sers. We can go. How do you overtake the Source? You go do the word. Show the people and and
you tell them, "Follow me as I follow Christ." See, we don't do that. Why? I don't want nobody looking at my life. Bless God. No, my life. You know, none of us are perfect. But see, that's not what Paul said. Paul said, "Follow me as I follow Christ." You follow me? Yeah. You should see Christ. Now, you may see me every now and then. And when you see me, don't follow me. But when you see Christ, follow him. And if you see me being me and not being Christ, tell me. But do it nice. Amen.
Don't come in there. Oh, look at you, Mr. Big Shot. No. Come in with humility, meekness, restoring a person. Amen. So, all we got to do is do the Bible. That's all you got to do. But before you can do it, you got to know it. You got to read it, but you got to read It as it is, not as you've heard it. Amen. Does this making sense? So, finally, he says, now watch, the fields are white already to harvest, and he that reaps, and get this, receives wages and gathers fruit unto life eternal.
Oh, brother, we can't talk about works. No, no, no. He just said right there, "You reap, you receive wages, and you gather fruit under life eternal that both he that sws and he that reaps may rejoice together." Most People are waiting on a phone call on a phone call from God when he's already sent you a letter. Don't wait for the phone call. When you do what the letter says, then you might get a call. But until you're doing what he said, he ain't got no reason to talk to you. He ain't got no nothing
to tell you other than get up and get going. Amen. Amen. But you get busy, you'll be led more than you ever thought. Did Y'all get that today? This is the milk that you got to do. When you do it, it becomes meat and you become mature and strong. Be doers of the word and not just hearers. And that means in everything. Amen. Amen. Let me pray for you real quick. Father, we thank you. We we bless these your people. You have already blessed them. And Father, we say, "Let your blessings be made manifest in
their lives as they hear and Obey." Father, we thank you. We know you want obedience more than sacrifice. So today, everyone in the sound of my voice, if you agree with what I'm about to say, then just settle it. Agree and say, "It is done in me. It is done. Amen. So, Father, we thank you. Your word is true. It's truth. We thank you for it. We thank you even now that your word, your spirit, your power is working in lives to set people free of sickness And disease, free of addictions and habits. It's the
word that brings us life, and we thank you for it. And we thank you that your word was made flesh and dwelt among us. And we thank you now that you make it flesh again in us as we live your word in Jesus name. Hallelujah. So be it. Amen. Amen. Amen. All right. All right. No brother.
