praise be Jesus Christ anyone who's even half awake recognizes that the situation of the world is a little concerning the world the Vatican used a few days ago is worrying you know some of these conflicts in the world they're a little worrying now I get a little disappointed let's say when I hear a Christian kind of saying oh yeah just kind of afraid of that stuff it makes me anxious and you like I just think to myself are you reading God's word like are you aware of the great promises and assurances we have in God's
sacred word in Isaiah 43 the Lord says you are precious in my eyes and I love you scripture says that God's love endures forever the Lord repeatedly tells us Be not Afraid the Lord assured us I Am With You Always and so on and again for a Christian to not be deeply grounded in these promises in sacred scripture it just to me it's like you you've got a you got a pretty serious problem in your life if you're not grounded if your foundation isn't built on the truth of God's holy word so again people who
oh I'm all I'm afraid I'm anxious my response is do you not know you're loved do you not know that your God is a mighty God what's that expression don't tell God you have a big problem tell your problem you have a big God and so I think it's really important for Christians to be awake and to be aware of the situation in the world especially understanding the mercies and justices of God you know when when when we rebel against God there will be you know a a response God in his Mercy will purify us
if we need to be purified but again this whole thing of a a believing Christian being afraid and anxious there's no reason for that if you are grounded in God's holy word let me read to you this is my number one goto scripture when we speak about what is to come you know the the reality of chastisement some people say oh you shouldn't be talking like that Jesus spoke like that in Luke 21 uh the the headings the destruction of the temple foretold the sign of the end the coming persecution the Great Tribulation the coming
of the son of man when the Lord Jesus he warned you know of what is to come and so again for us as Christians to to kind of want to sanitize ourselves from the reality of God's mercies and justices uh in the world on the world is is just you know putting your head in the sand but again we shouldn't be afraid so this is the number one go-to scripture when we speak of of the coming chastisement the Lord Jesus says this is Luke chap 21 verse 26 and verse 28 Jesus says people will die
of fright people will die of fright but when when these signs begin to happen stand direct and raise your heads because your Redemption is at hand oh don't be among those who are dying of fright because you have a god of infinite love you know the messages from mother Eugenia that I teach about a lot she reports God the Father repeatedly speaking of his ocean of Charity he says there's this ocean of Charity that we can all dive into immerse ourselves in we should be living in the love of God Not Afraid another scripture for
you St Paul he says for this momentary light Affliction because the reality is is I'm not saying we're not going to have to go through you know trials and struggles all of us right now we're going through trials and struggles some of them are very difficult it's the cross it's the purification that you know that the Lord is working in our life preparing us for heaven he says Paul says that this is 2 Corinthians chapter 4 for this momentary light Affliction is producing for us an eternal weight of Glory beyond all comparison as we look
