good morning guys um got my haircut yesterday they cut it way way too short I'm not used to this this is honestly so short but I always try to look for the positives in life so I have to spend less money on gel for a couple weeks and it'll take me less time to dry my hair once I get out the shower so that turns a bad haircut into a good haircut I'm only joking guys I still look like a bald rat all right guys so here's what I'm doing today I'm you know what how
about you work this one out for yourself let's just cut to the clips hey guys so I thought I'd do a voiceover for um these clips this is my first time ever doing a voiceover so if it's kind of dull kind of boring please do excuse me so we start off on um incline bench press this is my second chest day of the week the first one I pretty much just try to lift heavyweight um going in that 6 to8 8 to 10 rep range and on the second one I try and get more volume
in and go 12 to 15 reps so I start off on incline bench press because well for most people their upper chest is just lags quite a bit compare compared to you know the other parts of their chest and from an early age and early on in my training I want to make sure that's not the case and that's why I Incorporated and then next we move on to uh flat flat bench Dumbo press so guys this will add a bit more stretch uh and you'll feel it because you won't be as as restricted by
the barbell or you won't be as restricted as you would be if you were using the barbell and I actually do a drop set on this go from 16 kilos to 10 kilos and the next one we're doing is honestly I don't know the name for this but it's meant to Center in your chest and bring your chest closer in together and you saw me tap on my chest right there and that's actually so I get a better mind muscle connection my chest is always just been kind of appalling and it's just been a lagging
body part for me so that's why I train it twice a week and I really try and make sure I feel the contraction as well as the uh the stretch so next we're moving on to um Cable cable uh cable press I guess I could call it um so guys you can see we're going from incline barbell to Incline uh or incline barbell to flat bench dumbbell to uh cable incline I like to use dumbbells barbells uh machines and cables all within the same day honestly I just try and incorporate as much variability into my
training as possible and I think that's why you know I've made as much progress as I have over these past six months that I've been going to the gym next we move on to a actually just a push-up as a pref fatigue so three reps holding at the bottom for a couple seconds and then moving on to um flat bench press and guys I'm using quite or very lightweight here but in my mind I can switch between you know using heavyweight and getting it up um you know getting it off my chest and switching to
lower weight but really focusing on the traction the Ecentric part so next we're moving on to flies and you actually see me doing it from three different levels because once again as I said I want to add that variability and doing it at those three different levels will work all all parts of your chest really and once again it will add that variability and then next we're moving on to some tricep dips if you lean forward you'll actually work your chest that's why I'm trying to stay as upright as possible only doing around six reps
because as we did with the push-ups before it's simply just a pre fatigue before my cable push downs and guys I go quite high on these because I want to get that stretch before I bring it back down and contract once again triy pretty much any sort of push movement have has been a problem for me so my solution solution to that is adding lots of variability and training it twice a week so next we move on to Cable honestly I don't even know the name for this but this Prett pretty much simulates a skull
crusher um as it's over your head I like to do one push down and one either skull crusher or this um and then once again we superet that with just I don't know the name for this but it gets you a really good contraction on your tricep um working both sides for around 12 reps and you can just see I I don't even film everything I did on that day but I get high high volume lots of reps and you know it's worked well for me so guys I hope you've enjoyed this commentary and I'll

thing and put what weight I'm using so [Music] yeah all right guys so I hit the 85 kilos I looked back at the clips technically form was okay didn't feel that great though so I'm going to go for one more attempt if I get that then I'll go for a second so it'll kind of be like a 3X one um really want to get it I really don't like counting PRS if I know it's not 100% clean um so yeah I'm going to go for maybe two more attempts uh and I'm sure I'll get it
[Music] I [Music] I I'm sh SC I'm sh [Music] SC [Music] hey guys so I want to end off today's Vlog by inviting you to ask yourself why are you here what's your purpose what's your passion you know it's 11:30 I just did my second workout of the day and the reason I can do that is because I know what my purpose is I know what my passion is and I don't ever think you're too young to figure it out I think it even at 15 16 17 18 it's important to know it will change
over the course of your life and there's nothing wrong with that for some people stay the same but knowing that allows you to do the hard work that you may have been procrastinating on before because you know it's what you're bringing to the world you know when I'm studying sports science or biology it's tough honestly and I don't technically have to do it but I know that if I want to inspire motivate so on so forth help help people with their Journeys I'm going to have to know what I'm talking about and I'm going to
have to know the science behind it so knowing my purpose and knowing my passion it allows me to do that without it feeling like work or or allows me to grind through the times when it's difficult and as I said I just want to end this off by inviting you to do the same inviting you to find it find out what your passion is and sitting down figuring it out and you'll just live a much more fulfilling life after it so this the end of the Vlog I'll see you guys tomorrow
