I wanted money, like, [ __ ] I needed air. I am smart enough to know that money >> [music] >> equals freedom, and I don't want to live controlled by a job. I don't want to live controlled by a government.
I don't want to be controlled by nobody. I want to be free. >> [music] >> I want to be able to go on Twitter and say what the [ __ ] I want and not worry about losing my [ __ ] job, you [ __ ] I needed money, and I used to sit there and just literally my hands on my head.
And people are like, "What's wrong with you? " I was like, "I need money. I want money today.
" I would have been one of them cats that would have robbed the bank. If I didn't find money by the time I was 40, I would have walked in there with a [ __ ] shotgun. I am not going to live broke.
Get rich or die trying. I understand that completely. You [ __ ] are sitting there going, "Oh, well, yeah, I really want to be a millionaire.
" And then [music] just Oh, I'll just go sleep on my pillow and retire. [ __ ] You are not uncomfortable in your position. Same thing with physical fitness.
You're a fat [ __ ] Oh, yeah, I really need to lose weight. I know I'm going to lose weight. >> [music] >> Why are you fat then?
Getting fat does not happen slowly. I'm sorry. Getting fat does not happen quickly.
It's a slow process. You didn't [ __ ] know this? Across a year and you look in the mirror your eyes were closed?
You knew what was happening, and you were comfortable [music] being fat. Cuz if you weren't comfortable, you would do something about it. Talk to people with their lives all [ __ ] up.
Well, my life is all [ __ ] up. I'm like, "Yeah, of course it is, cuz you're happy for your life to be [ __ ] up. " Even if you're dis- Even if you're not happy, even if you're uncomfortable, you're not uncomfortable enough to change.
If you were genuinely [music] unhappy about your position, you would not be coming to me for motivation. If you were genuinely pissed off about [music] your situation, you would not need me to motivate you. You would motivate your [ __ ] self, and you would do something to change it yourself.
But you don't, which says a [music] lot. So, this whole motivational [ __ ] is all garbage. All you [ __ ] are exactly where you belong.
I'm where I belong, the top of the mountain. I have a [ __ ] Lambo, Bentley, Aston, five houses, 6 million liquid cash, and 20 girlfriends. [music] This is where I [ __ ] belong, cuz I refuse to stay anywhere else.
Why I think I fight. Do I enjoy it? No.
Do I enjoy training? No. Do I enjoy cutting weight?
No. Am I nervous? Yes.
Do I think to myself, "What am I doing? " Yes. Completely.
Unfortunately, it's one of those things you're either born with or you're not. And the only way I can explain it to try and make it make any sense is that if I'm not doing something which is either extremely difficult or extremely stressful, I'm in a perpetual state of crippling boredom. I can't explain it.
I see other people live their lives, and they're like, "Oh, I can't wait for the weekend, cuz I want to watch this movie. " I think, "Who cares about a movie? You're looking forward to the weekend for a movie?
Looking forward to the weekend to get drunk? " Like, these things to me are so mundane. >> [music] >> They mean nothing.
And if I don't fight, if I'm not in a situation where I'm stressed or worried or concerned, I'm just perpetually bored. [music] And boredom's crippling. If you're an intelligent person and you've got a good brain on your shoulders, you can't just sit there bored, you know?
So, most smart people take the academic route to avoid boredom, and they learn learn learn learn learn. But that's never really interested me, either. Although I've always been an intelligent guy, and I've always done well academically, it was it never really interested [music] me.
And then I see people climb up Everest or jump off buildings or do base jumping or the guy who jumped from space. People think, "What's he doing? He's crazy.
" I understand. >> [music] >> Because some people can't live normal lives. Some people cannot just function 9-to-5 office job, get drunk at the weekends.
That is not for some individuals, and it's not for me. So, I have to find something which keeps me physically tired enough to stop me going AWOL. Um and mentally tired enough.
And I've chosen fighting, because without this, when I'm not in training, I wake up every day and think, "Okay, what am I going to do today? It's 9:00 a. m.
on a Tuesday. I'm bored. Everyone's at work.
I'm bored. " And I'll end up doing something crazy. I'll end up drunk >> [music] >> or or on the Eurostar or, you know, it's just it's just a random lifestyle, cuz I'm constantly looking for never-ending entertainment, and it doesn't exist.
I think the only thing that could stop me fighting is if I had enough money to constantly entertain myself. Unless I'm a billionaire, I need something that keeps me focused and keeps me occupied in life. With fighting, I have to train twice a day, and I have to train hard.
And the stress can be the stress it brings in every aspect can replace fun, [music] and my mind is occupied. It occupies me. So, the only way I can try and explain it, it occupies me, and I could never stop doing this even if I lost 100 fights, because I'm not built to live a normal existence.
I can't do it. I couldn't just have a kid with some girl and stay at home and work a little bit and relax. I've never relaxed in my entire life.
I don't know what relaxing is. It's just not me. >> [music] >> How do you have time to be depressed?
You have so much you could do. There's so much that you need to do to be your best self, and you're competing against men like me, and you're finding hours a day to be sad? No wonder you're going to perpetually lose forever.
That's suicide. So, how do you find time to do this? It's it's brutally ineffective.
You have a brain, you have a mind, you have a mental model. You can't think of everything. You can't do everything.
You can only have certain frameworks instilled inside of your mind. As a man, you should be hyper-competitive. You should try to be the best version of yourself you can be.
You're competing against every other man on Earth for the girl you want, the car you want, the house you want, the watch you wear. It's all competition. You should be as competitive as you possibly can.
Anything that's inside of your mind which doesn't allow you to be competitive [music] should be erased. This is why I can't name a weakness. >> [music] >> heavily for any weakness that may exist, I don't even see them anymore.
You don't want it. >> [music] >> And that's the harsh reality. I can't give you [ __ ] You can't give them [ __ ] We can give you ideas.
But in the day, when I was losing the weight, I had to miserably wake up every morning in the cold, cuz it's Indiana. November's when it started. I was miserable.
This is your new life. Take it or leave it. There's no happiness about it.
There's no peace behind it. It sucks. It just [ __ ] sucks.
The thing is, man, there's always going to be a party. There's always going to be a time to celebrate, and there's a time to join [music] friends, and or a day that I mean, the bars are always open. Always open.
No matter how old you are, they're always open, you know? What's not always open is the opportunity to to check the box in life. You know, to achieve your dreams.
That's not always open, man. And [music] it's funny. It's like, you know, I'm not saying you do it all the time and everything else, cuz everyone needs release in life.
But it's funny when you're coming here and you're closing the gym up, and there's no one in the parking lot except for my car. And uh everyone everyone else is probably getting home from some party right now, cuz bars are closed right now, too. Um And now they're probably going to sleep, and they're probably going to have to wake up and apologize to somebody for however way they acted, because that's not who they really are.
They're chemically induced to be a certain way and have the social lubricants or be able to talk to be liked and say they take something in order to be that guy. Just like people who do steroids whatever else. I have to take this to be all that, you know?
But who I am as an individual isn't quite good enough. That's why I need to take something to become [music] somebody else. You know, it's a sad reality.
Coming here at night, and you know, I don't know what it is about it, man, but like man, just the air smells a little bit better right now. You know, when when you when you say you're going to do something and then you follow through and you do it, not not not at the end when you you know, you cross the marathon, you finish it, or or your hands raised. I'm talking about right now.
The small steps in between the big successes everyone sees. No one sees this. Right now, I'm saying like there's a confidence to it, man.
There's just there's a bad [ __ ] that's right here, you know, that that's getting ahead of the competition. There's an overwhelming sense of fulfillment and pride and satisfaction with that. You know, I didn't have to shoot up anything.
I didn't have to drink [music] anything. I didn't have to to go party anything. I just I And now what's going to happen is the residual effect of that.
Not only did my body grow, but my belief in whatever my current endeavors are, they they they're just they seem closer. They seem like, you know, I can reach out and grab them now. And >> [music] >> you don't get that sense of of confidence by going through society's wrong the reasons.
You know, you do your own thing, you know, especially when everyone else isn't doing it, and they call you crazy whatever else. Oh, you're in here, and people driving by being like, "The [ __ ] is that guy doing up so late? " Well, what's up so late mean?
I don't know. It's the moments in life, the decisions you make on a on a on a moment-to-moment basis that add up to be the guy or not the guy. Tonight, [music] I did something, you know, that I feel more of a guy.
For me, who I am, my guy. You know, repeat that over and over and over again. It's just [music] once a better life.
You feel like more confident. You have a better sense of reality. You know, the way you go about your day is is in a more productive fashion.
You're more goal-oriented. They all just synergistically go together into a movement, a force that's that's very unstoppable, man. [music] And with that success come a lot of people that are you know, going to applaud you, but the majority will hate you, man.
They really will. They're going to hate you because, you know, your success is >> [music] >> a spotlight shining down their misfortune. They [ __ ] hate you for what you're doing is reminding them of the of their missed opportunities and stuff.
So, you know, it's lonely, man. Just like being this only car out in the parking lot. But if you're cool with that, man, if you're cool with walking in the shadows of yourself and you know, the only person you got is the man right there in the shadow, man.
How you doing? Pretty good. How you doing?
All right, man. Cool. Cool.
It's kind of weird me having a conversation with you, but ain't no one else around cuz everyone else has faded way back then. Way back there. You know, if you're cool with that kind of walk of life, I can tell you, man, the world is your playground.
>> [music] >> You will rewrite the book on it all. Time to go home, get some sleep. And the sleep I get, by the way, I've earned.
I'll be dead asleep in no time. But I wake up mentally clear, confident, excited to redo this again tomorrow. Day in and day out, we create the destiny.
Champions are never born, guys. They're created. I don't think motivation's a real thing.
I don't believe in motivation as a concept. [music] I think discipline is real, and I also think discontentment is real. And I don't think it's possible for anybody to [music] stay in a scenario where they're truly uncomfortable.
If you fall asleep on your arm and your arm really starts to hurt, even in the deepest sleep, you're going to wake up and move your arm. If you sit [music] there and your life has been in a rut for 7 years, you are semi-comfortable in that rut. Sure, there's days you're pissed off.
Sure, you're semi-annoyed [music] by it. But there's also days where you just play video games, eat pizza, and you're kind of cool with it, and it's no big deal. [music] If you were truly unhappy and uncomfortable and discontent with your scenario, you wouldn't be in it.
So, I think I don't believe there's anybody who's truly When I was broke, I couldn't sleep. I'm not saying that Please understand [music] me. When I was broke, I couldn't sleep.
I'd be trying to go to bed thinking, "How the [ __ ] >> [music] >> these people have Ferraris? I want a [ __ ] Ferrari. " I couldn't sleep.
I don't have a [ __ ] ounce of sympathy for these people [music] who sit here and say, "Well, I feel this way, so I can't. " Then don't do it. Stay down there.
The winners are at the [music] top, and the winners at the top don't give a [ __ ] about how they feel. We wake up and we perform regardless of how we feel day after day. So, if I'm going to ignore my own feelings, I'm certainly not going to take into consideration anybody else's.
Why am I going to ignore how I feel and make sure [music] I'm constantly performing regardless, flawlessly, and then sit and go, "Oh, but he doesn't feel good, so he's allowed to [ __ ] up. " No, you are not. You're not allowed to [ __ ] up to your ancestors or to God or to yourself.
You have to perform. This is how it This is what being a man is about. The baseline of masculinity is doing things [music] you don't feel like doing.
I can't comment on being a woman cuz I'm not one. But the baseline of masculinity as a whole is the thing that makes a good man a man is that he does what he doesn't want to do. He doesn't want to work, and he works anyway.
He doesn't want to go to war, and he fights anyway. He doesn't want to get up, he gets up anyway. That's the whole point of it.
We didn't want to die on the Titanic. Guess what happened? We died in the Titanic.
You can't sit there as a man and say you don't feel like it. You're not allowed to not feel like it. You're supposed to do it anyway, regardless.
So, when a man sits there and says, "Oh, but you don't understand. I'm struggling with motivation. " If you are struggling with the motivation to be a winner, then stay a [ __ ] loser.
No problem. Stay a loser. Don't care.
[music] Cuz in my circle, there's no losers around me. Your energy is disgusting. I find it revolting.
I don't like weakness around me, even near me. Even people coming up saying hello to me. If you're depressed, don't even shake my hand.
I do not have time for losers on any regard. [music] Winners only. Another thing I'll say, I believe the universe is very giving.
I think the universe and God himself is [music] very giving. I've yet to meet somebody in my all my years who is genuinely giving 100% of themselves day after day, doesn't snake anyone, >> [music] >> firm handshake, look you in the eye, doesn't lie to nobody, and tries 100% and doesn't get what they want. I've never seen it.
Every single person who doesn't have what they want, there's something in their story that doesn't quite add up. I've yet to see some guy who Have you ever seen a guy who eats right, trains his ass off, and never misses a gym session, [music] ever, not grow? Not grow?
Not what? Not what? Not grow.
Not make it. It's just That's the way the universe works, right? So, [music] if you're truly about it and you're truly trying your absolute best, you're going to do it.
And I That's what I believe. I believe the universe is extremely giving. So, when [music] I meet somebody and they go, "I really wanted this, and I don't have it.
" I say, "You didn't really want it. You're lying. " Why put so much importance [music] on my emotion if certain things be done?
I must work, I must train, I must see Tucker Carlson, I must [music] resist the matrix. I've got things to do. So, who So, why are we going to sit around and talk about how I feel if it doesn't even affect how I act?
And as a man, it shouldn't cuz there's too much to do. And the the masculine world is hyper-competitive. This is another thing most people don't understand.
It's hyper-competitive out here. All the women want a few men at the top. The Ferrari you You don't want a Ferrari to drive fast.
You want a Ferrari cuz other men want a Ferrari and can't have one. >> [music] >> It's hyper-competitive. So, if you're competing against every other man for every dollar you make, every girl you see, the house [music] you live in, the car you drive, the life you live, you're not going to be able to compete with the person who performs regardless of how [music] they feel if you only compete when you feel like competing.
Right? Cuz there's men like me out there >> [music] >> who will be sad every day and outcompete you regardless. I don't care how I feel.
I will still win. And that's the kind of mindset you need to adopt. [music] So, I don't When a man comes You've got a job to do.
Stop whining. Go to work. >> Completely.
I agree. Completely. >> [music] >> So, when men say, "Oh, but I don't I feel sad.
" Who cares? The world doesn't care. All the men who are out here to destroy you and take your girl don't care.
So, why are you Why do you care? >> [music] >> Like if the only The person who should care least is you. You're the only person who wakes up every day who should have a genuine vested interest in improving your life.
Nobody else wakes up and wants to improve your life. Only you. So, if nobody else cares about how you feel, [music] why do you care?
So, I My argument also for depression is you're depressed, fine. Have you trained today? Well, that doesn't change what you should do with your life, depressed or not.
And I don't say this cuz I'm an eternally happy person. I say this because I've experienced all ranges of human emotion. I was in a Romanian [music] jail cell with cockroaches crawling all over me as I slept.
I never missed a day of training. I wouldn't say I was particularly [music] happy, but push-ups must be done. So, they got done.
wasted the past 18, [music] 20, 30 years living your life on somebody else's terms, working underneath someone, and disrespecting not only yourself self, but also our creator that brought us here. And that's really what makes me upset, and it should make you upset as well, that you have one life, for all we know, just the only one that we know about, >> [music] >> and you sit here and you just let the days go by, and you don't feel any sense of urgency to take your life into [music] your own hands and take a [ __ ] risk, bro. If you don't prior study it, if you don't find the value for me, Ranger School, if I didn't have the value of what that Ranger Tab meant to me, me, to me, NOT MY DAD OR my mom or girlfriend, to me, no [ __ ] way.
But I wanted to be part of [ __ ] [music] high society. The high society of mine, where I thought was high society. We all get high society.
We all get For [music] me, that was it. That meant a lot to me. And I knew for that to mean a lot to me, you had to earn it.
I I I'd rather get this message out there and just tell you guys to start [ __ ] believing in yourself and quit being a [ __ ] [ __ ] man. Don't be a [ __ ] [ __ ] Like, what the [ __ ] man? It's disgusting.
You're a grown-ass [ __ ] man walking around with your tail tucked between your [ __ ] legs. How about you stand up for once, and you stand up for not only the things you believe in, but for yourself and for your future [music] self, and for your kids and their kids. How about you stand up for them?
How about you stand up [music] for what you know in your heart is right and not what everyone else wants you to be? How about you [ __ ] do that, man? You will live a much happier and fulfilled life.
[ __ ] a plan B. Put all those eggs in a [ __ ] plan A, bro. Don't [ __ ] spread your eggs out in the other basket, man.
You're going to You can only put so much effort into something. And if you're putting half of the [ __ ] effort into plan [music] B just to fall back on, odds are you're going to fall back on it. You're not going to achieve that real goal.
So, I'm telling you guys, man, you got to be ignorant. You got to believe [music] in yourself. You got to be You got to be a little bastard, man, and say, "Fuck everybody else.
[ __ ] it. " Be selfish for once in your [ __ ] life, dude. [ __ ] Promise yourself.
You [ __ ] promise yourself you'll be the best [ __ ] person you can be. That That's what makes you train. That's what makes muscles grow.
Nobody [ __ ] knows the secret. That is it. And that That feeling you have [ __ ] doing it.
Today, I'm no longer be a [ __ ] loser. Today, I'm going to change my [ __ ] path. I'm going to get on the path to success.
I don't care how long that road is. I'm going to see it through no matter what. Because you know what?
I've been living enough years in this [ __ ] I don't want to be here anymore. I'm not happy with this. And I'm tired of making excuses.
I'm tired of going through the same circle of emotion and [ __ ] I want to be different. Set a time to train, train at that time. Set a time to go sleep, go sleep at that time.
Set a time to get up, get up at that time. Don't Don't tell yourself you need to do something and then don't do it. That's what I was talking about with I real.
I said I said I would I I knew in my head I was saying, "Get up at this time. " I got up I didn't get up at that time. "Train at this time.
" I didn't train at that time. "Don't eat this. " I ate that.
"Don't drink that. " I drank it. And these all just infiltrate my mental strength.
Just little kind of defeats. >> Exactly. Little defeats instead of wins, and it just culminates into uh and you just don't want to be here.
So, I'm just feeling myself out like I've never felt myself out before.
