[Music] yeah this episode of paradigm profiles is called nuestrasa's anniversary all right you guys it's going to be something a little different this is a historic rendition of how the nr was created by corny brown bob and it also explains their individual roles and some of the drawbacks that they endured when all this was in motion the history has often been talked about and there's been numerous versions that have been put out but what seldomly talked about is the individual contributions and how the individual roles that some of these founders have played themselves there are many lessons to learn from the history of the north daniels it has been 38 years now since the existence of the nr evolved as an influential and dominant force in the california pintas many nathaniels who lack the proper schooling and inside are unaware that the northanos have a special day that is solely dedicated to honor and remember all those that have endured and accomplished the xiv's creation existence and forward progress this is a day that lyanna fe also salutes and pays tribute to the nf's victory which ultimately paved the way and created the path for the nathaniel involvement the survival of the nathaniel cause and the structure of this movement was dependent on this victorious day in history the three canales that are recognized as the architects and creators of the xiv structure are cornelio corny tristan from woodland robert brown bob vermontes from morgan hill and hector coppas gallegos from salinas these three seas had an unparalleled unshakable vision and together with minds enshrined they look forward into the future envisioning the nathaniel movement that would only continue to prosper and flourish with time this movement was created in the midst of the war between the nuestra familia and the mexican mafia it became a counter measure and a proactive implementation to not only create a subsidiary gang that would operate and function under the same edicts and precepts of the familia but it was also a remedial measure to curtail the massive amount of recruitment that the familiar was trying to prevent it wasn't that the familiar wanted to close his books and stop recruitment altogether the organization just wanted to implement a system that contained the type of checks and balances that would ensure a more refined recruitment system up until the early 70s the screening and vetting process was almost non-existent the nr in essence became the viable alternative allowing the familia to continue its efforts and bringing in new blood while at the same time also creating a league of proven prospects to recruit from new recruits and potential candidates were told that the nr was a stepping stone a mere gateway into the mob that would allow these future familianos to prove their mettle their loyalty and the importance of being steadfast believers when the familia was at the top of his game and its influence began spreading through the california prison system it spread like wildfire the desire and willingness to become a familiano was overwhelming the ranks were bustling with new members and the organization grew exponentially more and more potential candidates began coming out of the woodward they literally came in droves and there seemed to be a never-ending pool of prospects who were more than willing to be baptized baptizing the familia's beliefs and his struggles in its objectives and in his blood as a true familiano at one point out in the abundance of caution and with the familia's best interests at heart steps were eventually taken to implement some much needed changes regarding the nf's recruitment policies up until this point there were no procedures for recruitment the organization was still evolving and all the rules policies and procedural guidelines had yet to be drafted it was decided that so many new recruits were coming in that there needed to be a vetting and screening process set in place it had to the threat of infiltration by the opposition in charlatans was imminent the familia was more than willing to embrace this influx of new believers but the recruitment procedures still had to be regulated and vetted with these checks and balances quality always prevailed over quantity and this is something that the nf has always prided itself with so the creation of the nr was also a counter measure to solve the recruitment dilemma that the nf was trying to revise create a subsidiary gain that this influx of new believers could commit themselves to and allow this new movement to serve or become part of the vetting and screening process and again it would also give the familia a league of fresh candidates to recruit from who had already proven their loyalty during the time they had functioned under a movement that was directly under the nf's control there was never any compunction or regret about furnishing the north daniels with their own cause during the period of time when this movement was still in the embryonic stages of creating the nr when the pillars of the nr were still being grounded and said some seas felt like this could be interpreted as a separation of powers or that this might actually muddy the waters corny coppas and brown bob had to expound on and sell their vision to a lot of other familianos that didn't initially see the purpose for creating another branch in fact some c's actually predicted that the nr would eventually transcend beyond what it was created for and that it would become a rogue and problematic movement however being the highly influential familianos that they were they eventually prevailed and won mass favor amongst the rest of the familia even amongst those that were the most skeptical thus the spirit of the nathaniel movement was born and the movement was then set in motion those with intellectual stature were placed in leadership positions and the movement was then introduced at folsom state prison these three canales believed that el norte and this newly created movement would evolve and blossom into the kind of dominant force that would not only become a viable countermeasure to the emmett's newly formed suranya opposition but they would also accomplish to strengthen the nf's auxiliary forces and the problems that they had developed with the nfs recruitment process once the initial groundwork for the nr had been laid it was corny who envisioned that the nr would sustain longevity and prosperity this was indemnified by structuring the 14 bonds to mirror the nf's philosophy and the breadth of his fundamental belief system corpus was said to have played an intricate role in drafting up the nr play and the 14 bonds however brown bob's role was just as critical bob shared coppa's vision insofar as mirroring the nf belief system but he was adamant and unyielding when it came to using any direct verbiage from the nf constitution this was firmly grounded on brown bob's individual beliefs that the nf constitution should never be replicated duplicated or reprised in any form this in part was out of an abundance of respect for the constitution's original author joe death row joe gonzalez once most of the formalities have been governed and set in place the spirit of the cause had to be set in stone and clearly spelled out so that these norteno soldados knew what the movement squarely represented this band of soldados would now be instructed to become a protective force for the north annual collective this in essence is what they were committing themselves to they would be the first ones to engage with any other group segment who attempted to oppress the nathaniel following because the carnales were no longer going to be physically present it was now going to be on the nr to cease all the afflictions and all the abuse that the non-affiliated northeast had been suffering at the hands of the surenos koppas and brown bob were successful at laying out a lot of the movement's internal workings the breath and scope but corny was pivotal when it came to creating the movement's objectives the rules governing conduct discipline recruitment and just the overall dynamics of how the movement would function he was also instrumental in defining the nr as a movement how it would function under the guise of the familia and creating some of the terminology that would actually be used later by the nr in essence these three canales became the perfect storm when they decided to work together on this historic undertaking nobody could have guessed that together they would complement each other's contribution the way they did the nr definitely had its share of adversity and its rollout wasn't without flaw but this elite movement became an effective countermeasure that would stop the anime and its instigators in its tracks corny the main catalyst and creator of this movement vowed that the ma agenda would no longer have the ability to pose a threat or victimize any more daniels as long as there were true sworn and dedicated xiv soldados la nuestra familia put the structured concept in the living form and has always overseen it the supreme authority of the nuestra rasa norte is and always has been lying efe in 1981 there was much going on in the nf this was a turbulent and trying time for the organization after effectuating numerous vengeance and example killings by the nf and l wing the organization was trying to maintain stability in some of its strongholds the administration embarked on its own campaign to thwart and weaken the organization's resolve by attempting mass moves and mass transfers this was when the nf was winning the war a lot of the nf's leaders and some of his strongest seas were being systematically shifted from prison to prison this was without question being done in an effort to derail the nf's activities and to create vulnerability amongst the ranks meanwhile nf traders were also on a massive campaign of their own as the nf tried to sustain this position against the administration's efforts to [ __ ] its strongholds known nf dropouts and traders were doing everything they could to infiltrate and spy on nf activities so these known cooperators could then feed that information to the black us they were not only seeking information about nf affairs in prison but outside of prison as well the nf evolved for a righteous and dignified purpose to protect the non-affiliated hispanic inmates from being victimized by the emmy and the abs but almost immediately after the nf's mobilization cdc and its congregation of defectors began targeting the familia and its advancement from all accounts it didn't appear as if the administration stayed neutral because again cdc and ssu made a move on the nf by kidnapping and suddenly shipping nf leadership out of k-wing and l-wing two of its power bases and sending them to old folsom 4a lockup between 1982-1983 the emmy began spreading its propaganda to some of the non-affiliated hispanic inmates rasa that wasn't necessarily affiliated with the ma off the top the thing that soon became overwhelmingly noticeable was that their target group seemed to all be from southern california at the time there were no geographical lines there was no north and south however a good portion of both groups leadership seemed to be from southern california the nfs and the emmas it wasn't a coincidence the emmy knew it had to create auxiliary forces because the pendulum was swinging back towards the nf and when one considers the logic of the emma's thinking it just made absolutely no sense for the emmy to target northern california as their target group for spreading its propaganda the nf could have targeted southern california as its target group to spread its propaganda because the majority of its leadership was from southern california as well but there were two slight differences here one being the nf did have leaders with ties to northern california and the other defining difference was that the enemy chose to execute his propaganda machine first and i believe that that's what made the difference so arguments can be made that the alliance is sprouted from the enemy's close association with southern california barrios but that's just not true others have tried to argue that the emmy's move to create the sureno alliance was because of the nf's creation of the nr and that this was a counter measure taken in defense to nf creating the nr again this was nothing more than historic propaganda meanwhile as the nf and the nf's associates were away from the main lines this wasn't the case with everybody a lot of the nf's opposition was still allowed to operate out there this didn't only include the emmy but it also included the ms most staunch ally the ab many different elements came into play as the abs became more active in the conflict the abs had a massive amount of influence with the canines the canines showed unquestionable favoritism to these guys and this was something else that the nf had to contend with back in those days racism was prevalent and it wasn't something that was hidden or candy coated it was openly carried out the canines gave preferential treatment to the abs and the ma it was no secret that they were given a different kind of advantage and it subjected the nf to a shrewd level of dirty warfare tactics they would pass weapons for the abs or allow them to pass through the metal detectors with weapons they would purposely place nf members in precarious situations i. e on yards where ma and abs had supreme numbers they would pass on critical information i. e they would tell them when the nf members and their associates were scheduled to arrive at different institutions so they could be ambushed and they would act as spies for these guys telling them what types of activities the nf and their associates were up to when certain officers were placed in the gun towers it was obvious that nf members and their associates were the ones being shot as they were the ones who were being targeted several altercations had occurred between nf and ab members and during those incidents it was always the nf members who were shot meanwhile as for the abs they were so intent on demonstrating and proving their loyalty to the anime that they continued to assist them every chance they got by targeting nf members who were susceptible to being victimized nf members who were housed alone in units or blocks with large numbers of abs this would eventually result in an alliance being forged between the nf and the bgf the black guerrilla family but not before the abs were able to inflict some of their damage first there's no question about the fact that the nf was initially exposed to some fierce and arduous circumstances during the time it was at war with these two organizations but the nf was just destroyed when it came to some of its own infiltration tactics the most effective was the nf's utilization of undercovers ucs or what was known as sleepers the nf was notorious when it came to using sleepers and these types of covert operations such sleeper operations were effective when the sleeper was able to project the appearance that he was not an associate friend or had no ties to the west western familia this enabled him to infiltrate territories and fly under m a and a b radars this also protected against nf traders and cos even though the majority of nf associates were housed in l-wing not all were and this left them to deal with the metals that were starting to go back out to the main line to tracy with the rapid growth of the surenos and the full strength of the abs at their side the metals were regaining their hold on the yards and the pendulum was slowly swinging back in their favor while at the same time their biggest campaign efforts of spreading false propaganda to the rasa from southern california was also proven to be highly effective their seeds of hatred and asymmetry were starting to work the surenos began to believe that the enemy was where they belong and that their biggest threat was the nf they preached a false la rasa unida concept and tried to make them believe that the nf was targeting any rasa from southern california whether tipped up with the emmy or knight and this is the narrative they continue pushing until they would ultimately prevail the propaganda campaigns went on and on those from the northern and the southern parts of california who knew better and who were associates of the nf banded together to deal with this infestation of emeralds and surenos however as the nf was away the problems of the past came back into play order and structure amongst the northerners and associates dwindle various types of misdeeds and defiance began to take place while there were some who weren't believing in the ways and beliefs of the familia there were a majority that did this created problems quick at the same time the metals and the sureno lackeys were attacking anyone they felt to be nf associated or not with the ma program eventually the dilemmas on the mainline became an issue that the nf found offensive and took action the solution to the problem was xiv the creation of the nr the perfect countermeasure and in essence the perfect offensive action the emmett had worked to create a counterpart an effectuation it had anticipated would become a major turning point in the conflict but the nf counter back a move that the anime couldn't and didn't anticipate the difference in these two stratagems was that the anime only sought to create the sureno alliance as a means to infuse a massive influx of manpower and that's what they did the nf on the other hand had more radical aspirations and made the best out of the northern alliance they would also have an influx of additional manpower from the north but corny brown bob and koppas created a movement from this manpower that's purpose wasn't only to provide auxiliary backing it sought to eradicate and wipe out the enemy and its alliance el norte xiv the northern movement the northern structure the newest rasa in prison was thought up and scripted in old folsom 4a by these three canales and the finished product was then implemented in san quentin cuimos in 1984.
that's one significant and important part of the nr history that's often misconstrued many seasoned nr members in the past that have recited the history simply state that in 1984 the movement was created and introduced in folsom state prison that those with intellectual stature and leadership abilities were placed in leadership positions and thus the movement was then set in motion this is true however the portion that's often left out is this the movement was introduced in folsom state prison in 1984 and this is recognized as the nr's birthday or anniversary or the date of its recognized inception but when it was introduced in folsom at that time it technically wasn't finished being created the final version was then created later that same year in folsom this is the birth year of the nathaniel structure xiv this is when the xiv vendetta was raised and the nathaniel operations were fully activated when xiv took off it took off the reason it took off so forcefully in cuimas is due to the surge of nf and nf associates transferring from other pintas to san quinn the northennial movement quickly got off the ground and spread out to all pintas cyas and youth facilities once it had spread throughout the entire system it would eventually then trick while to the streets the caies the familian old folsom had drafted up and finalized what was known as the plight of the xiv meaning the solvalo pledge to la causa or the oath it also provided some historical accounts where they came from and where they were going then the 14 bonds were finalized this exemplified some of the rules conduct and some of the movement's purpose thus you had the xiv format and bonds the bonds being the laws to proper northern yokonda by concepts of the laws of the familial guerrero there was always a big training schooling format that covered areas such as recruitment into the nathaniel structure chain of command in the prisons category system arsenal blueprints and protocol mandates the nf delegated powers and responsibility to coordinate and manage the nathaniel structure to well-respected and strong nf associated ricardo london to san diego ricardo london was a radical who was serving multiple life sentences in state prison he was the leader of underground movements he created and had a lot of resources and support ricardo london took the xiv by the reigns in some instances and got it going in some of the more important blocks and yards ricardo was not an nf member nor was he a structure member he was a coaching council in 1988 in the corcoran shoe ricardo london locked it up and years later debriefed in the early stages of the xiv structure ricardo london played instrumental roles in the creation of organizational concepts and guerrilla warfare concepts foreign the last concept he panned right before he pc'ed was the nss northern street structure this was never put in motion ricardo london as an nf associate did a lot for the nathaniel movement in the mid-1980s the label identification north daniel to identify structured soldados was changed to bros or bees much of this had to do with some soldados not actually being from the north as the xiv did have soldados from the south including mexico and south america so the identification label bro went into effect at the same time by word and was then incorporated officially into the format nuessa rasa nr then also became the identifying label signature for the bros in its structure etc by the late 1980s the nr was officially out on the streets and had made its way throughout the entire system youth and adult you had three main identifications c b and n's ends being distinguished by their actual worth such as end sympathizer sympathizer to the nr and the regular end meaning non-affiliated street gang north daniels who were simply just from up north sympathizers were ants who glorified the nr and wanted to assist the bros but weren't actual sanction and our members themselves regular ends were on their own time and made it clear the nr and nf program wasn't for them that they wanted no part of the politics but who understood that they fell under the nf's umbrella for the season ends sympathizers the regular ends were merely nuisances and distractions some seas actually considered them to be outsiders all together individuals who by their own account felt a sense of entitlement to the spoils of the sweat and blood that seasoned ends were spilling but who then felt like they could and would participate when it absolutely suited their best interest their individual agendas usually got them removed or in a lot of trouble with the nf and nr january 22nd 1989 new folsom oil a solid bro named brad prigley palo de was shot and killed by the gunner during the fierce battle with the enemy shortly after his attack unknown identified and targeted the medals a lot of guerra took place throughout the history of la nuestro familia and the nr the xiv solados were successful in hitting numerous marks and renegades the incidents with gunners killing regular ends and bros actually started really happening in 1988. two northerners were shot and killed in new fossil oil and on the main line even though they weren't the gunners intended targets during the period of 1988 1994 there was an all-out full-scale war in the corcoran shoe this in history is known as the shoe wars at the same time solid ends bees and seas were getting off and spending time slammed in isolation cells like corcoran's bedrock in 1989 pelican bay state prison pbsp opened the super max prison half of it a and b facility was the main line the other half was and is the shoe you were sent to pbsp shoe after you handled your business and got off numerous times in corcoran's shoe those that also either got off and knew folsom to hachipishu or in an ad say on serious gang-related incidents were also being sent to the shoot pelican bay state prison opened in december 1989. cdc implemented a shoddy prison gang validation system where if an associate or member was deemed by ssu and rancho cordova to be a strong associate to the nf or nr he would be validated and endorsed indeterminately in the shoe at that point in time the only alternative you had for getting out of this oppressed environment was to parole snitch or die soon after nf nr got into the pelican bay la bodega shui quickly put influence and psychological tactics to use soon the nf and nr built its power base and structure in pbsp shoot it became nf nr headquarters sometime in or around 1993 the nr went into improvisation in this the nr set in motion a street function program and came out with the anniversary day of the nuessa rasa as being january 22nd there was an emblem or patch for the nr members which was an eagle descending down clasping parasol in his beak signifying the spilling of blood grasping a libro partially open then there was a red banjo draped down through the middle of the libro signifying schooling in the bandera and in the other talon grasp there was the sombrero signifying western familia's forefathers the organization that created xiv structure nuestrasa over the top of the descending eagle was nuestra and below the libro and sombrero was rasa the concept of bees paroling to assist at least two soldados behind the walls from the outside came into play around the same time sometime in or around 1994 the nr went under a high command type of structure the nuestro rasa council the nrc and the nuestras administration nra was put into effect there was many implementations of the nr from late 1993-1994 the seven steps officially named the seven phases and then the chain of command for headquarters was implemented along with the regimental coc was activated there was protocols for recruitment into the nr and a time served frame before a brawl could be pulled towards or inducted into la nuestro familia five years of dedicated service in the nr exceptions to this rule did happen nrc was lalo de parlier and caesar de stockton this was up until the nr being modified and deleted in reference to 1997.
in april 1997 mandate filters came down from nf and r brass at the bay directing the deletion of the words nr nuestrasa all season ends were under orders to no longer implement the nr as it was being shut down indefinitely in this the concepts of nuessa rasa and the chain of command for the regiments was to remain in full swing but under the modified name north daniels ends the phases and other facets of schooling remain in curriculum some of the concepts that were modified were anything that alluded to rank and the idea that the north daniel cars struggle was a prison gang and or an organization the mandate had a filter that was eventually referred to as the 497 filter salutation accompanied with the salutation was a writing by n. f brass to all season ends called the historical context to the nathaniel movement this explained clearly the true concept of the nathaniel movement and what structure solallo means when the nr was modified and deleted all references with nr was taken out and north daniels was then put in what happened was the nf nr hit the rewind buttons and put the label back into its original form tuwit norteno and xiv all ends will strive for rather than all bros will strive for etcetera etcetera this is when january 22nd became the northeast oldalo anniversary the last time it was officially called the nr anniversary was in 1997.
