[Music] Deadpool and Wolverine was amazing it was everything that I was hoping it would be oh my God I loved this movie so uh non-spoiler segment first and then for those of you guys who want to avoid spoilers I'll tell you when to turn the video off so the movie is incredible the the film like just Deadpool and wol of rain as a movie is way better than Deadpool 2 and I would argue that it Rivals Deadpool 1 of course it doesn't have a lot of the new type of feeling right the newness that Deadpool
one had like you're learning about this character for the first time and all that kind of stuff so you certainly don't get that uh but Wolverine in this movie is the best he has ever been and when I say ever I mean every single iteration of Wolverine that exists in media outside of comic books that's always going to be the best one in my book but any depiction of Wolverine from Hugh Jackman this is the best he is everything that you've ever been hoping for from a depiction of wolver rain if you saw the way
his character was done in Fox and you were kind of like ah it's not really the way wolver rain is supposed to be this corrects all of that right it's awesome his story isn't fully fleshed out but what you get is really really cool so the movie overall is fantastic uh one of the downsides to this film and I do think it's important to you know post up both good sides and downsides if you didn't see Loki seasons 1 and two and you're not familiar with the time variance Authority the movie is going to leave
you a little bit confused not as far as the plot goes right the plot's coherent it makes sense and you understand enough about the time variance authority to be able to grasp what's going on but in terms of being able to see like the bigger picture right if what you love is being able to watch a movie and understand exactly how this movie fits into the grander scheme of everything going on in the MCU it's going to leave you a little confused it's going to leave you hanging a little bit so that's why I have
this video that will tell you everything you need to know from Loki seasons into you and the Multiverse in general to get you caught back up Cassandra NOA is fantastic she's a phenomenal villain honestly I loved her character and I honestly wish Cassandra Nova in the comics had been as interesting as she was in this movie she was incredible there's so many callbacks to a lot of the fox X-Men movies that you saw over the course of the years that fox was making them there's really really cool moments I'm not going to go into those
because that leads into some spoiler territory but it's really really awesome right overall the movie is fantastic right if you're going into it with this idea that Deadpool is now part of the Marvel Cinematic Universe and you want to see where this Trail leads you will not be disappointed but if you're going in looking for reasons to be unhappy you will inevitably find them right so you'll just end up making yourself miserable having said that this is when we get into the spoiler portion 3 2 1 dude Channing Tatum's Gambit was amazing holy cow dude
okay I'm so glad that movie didn't get made let's just be honest right if Channing Tatum's Gambit film had been made it would have been disastrous right it would have been terrible but the powers that he put on display and how he used his abilities that was fantastic and ladies and gentlemen Wesley Snipes Blade dude he still got it bro he's still got it after all these years he still has it it's incredible like I love the Wesley Snipes like this it was amazing and I love that line that he had in the movie where
he was like there's only been one blade there will only ever be one blade and there was a part of me that was just kind of like dude are they going to kill the mersel Ali blade film and then just bring Wesley Snipes back like because I'll be honest with you guys I wouldn't really have any complaints if they did right I'd be okay with it as long as a movie opens up with some variant of like the whole what it techno scene with Tracy Lords at the beginning of the first movie down with that
uh Electra was there who cares right Jennifer Gardner was a crappy Electra when it first came out she still sucks as Electra nobody was excited to see her Daphne King is fantastic here I absolutely love the way her character was depicted because in all honesty it's just the natural progression of her character as she was shown in like the old school or at least the previous Logan film right the movie that saw you know Wolverine effectively die and all that kind of good stuff um I love the whole thing they're teasing when it was like
at some point in the future of the MCU Thor is going to meet Deadpool presumably Deadpool's going to going to die and like Thor's going to be crying over his corpse that was amazing right I loved that oh my God Chris Evans returning as Johnny Storm that was great I am disappointed about the fact that we didn't get to see any of the other members of the original fantastic forecast I imagine they didn't want to come back right I mean seeing like Vic Mackey show back up is like been Grim that would have been pretty
incredible right but I imagine they just didn't want to come back and so we just ultimately never saw them but that was a great situation there the Deadpool core right I need to make a video on every version of Deadpool in Marvel Comics I'm 99% sure that lady Deadpool was Blake Lively of course we never got to see her face so that's fine uh but overall like I mean there were there were just so many wonderful moments I wish they had gone into at least more in depth into the story of wolverin because what I
was waiting for for them to say was that he killed all the superheroes on his Earth because I literally have a video waiting in the wings where Wolverine Kills the Marvel Universe and that video would go up like that right so uh it's it's that I was hoping for we didn't necessarily get it but I do like the statements he was making that on his Earth both the Avengers and the X-Men existed he knew exactly who they were so really that wolver rain kind of comes from the most like superhero complete universe that we've seen
so far right even though we didn't actually get to see much of his Universe we don't know if the Fantastic 4 exists there was no reference to them but still I do love that it seems like they're not going to kill him off they're going to keep him around for a little while which really seems to Buck the rumors where a lot of people were saying that like this is a one-off Hugh Jackman is showing up as Wolverine he's never coming back like no it definitely looks like he's going to be returning for the future
of the Marvel Cinematic Universe who knows how long it's going to last probably till Secret Wars and then he'll ride off into the sunset and that'll basically be it they'll probably kill his character off um but yeah man all in all I don't know if I really agree about the whole thing with like everybody's been waiting 20 years for Wolverine to fight saber-tooth not really man because I don't really think they've had a great depiction of saber-tooth at all in the history of the fox films the closest she got was leave shriber but even then
it's not necessarily like the best depiction they could possibly go with um what I will say right one of the things that I will say that I absolutely adored about this movie were the cameos man all those different versions of Wolverine we even got a comic accurate wolver rain who was super short and then as soon as I saw him I was like yeah man all the fans who were asking for a comic accurate wolver rain are going to be like yeah never mind man they're going to be sitting there with egg on their face
looking stupid because everybody out there in the world is going to be like that's the Wolverine that you want right like the 5 foot nothing version of Wolverine no that's ridiculous and you're ridiculous for asking for it so I think it's cool that we got that super short version um but then we also got like Henry Cav's Wolverine that was amazing I loved everything about this movie right I loved everything that happened in this film it was incredible not only that and here's what's really interesting the movie could technically be considered a one-off and I
love the way that they did it like that the movie doesn't end with like a dot dot dot you know Deadpool will return in Avengers Secret Wars and it's not really text on the screen it's like the circumstance indicates it you know like Steven strange shows up and it's like Deadpool we need your help they could literally just never feature him in the Marvel Cinematic Universe again and it would make sense it would work right it'd be disappointing but it would work and I love that I love it when they do movies like that because
it doesn't Force Marvel into a box it doesn't require them to start building on top of everything that they've seen so far so yes this movie was incredible I absolutely loved it there were so many wonderful moments the fight scenes were incredible just everything about this was dope the second Wolverine fight I think was better than the first to be honest with you guys if I'm being honest right the second fight between Wolverine and Deadpool it was definitely better than the first uh but yes this movie is great you if you are not going to
