hey Jason flatland here and I want to shoot this exclusive video for RL Adams contributor over at Forbes for the article that he's writing about me and the techniques that we teach on webinars this is exclusive not only for that purpose of the article but also I've never done anything like this before I'm actually going to show you about a presentation that I wrote that I've yet to deliver but I will be delivering in the near future and I'm going to break down for you today just the introduction section of this and why it's so powerful so I'm going to show you the slides of it but I'm going to talk over the slides and explain the psychology behind this so hopefully you can use it in your webinars as well because and this is the title slide that you're seeing right here for this webinar that I have coming up I think one of the biggest weaknesses that I see people do in their webinars is in the introduction they are so boring they take forever to build up any sort of commitment in the first few minutes of the webinar they lose their audience at the beginning and if you lose somebody at the beginning how can you expect them to still be there with you at the end when you are making your offer where that's where the money's made so we actually make money in the introduction cuz we get Buy in immediately which leads to buying so this is a webinar on webinars to add an extra layer to everything we're doing today it's a presentation I'm going to do exclusively for Joe polish who's a mentor and a dear friend of mine he's the founder of Genius Network pretty big player in the marketing Arena and we worked out this presentation where I come on and I teach his audience and then at the end we're going to make them an offer to go to the next level with their webinars so title of the webinar is called how to create million dooll webinars I keep a title SL very simple very succinct because they're barely ever going to see it on the webinar I move from title to the first slide very quickly in the introduction of my webinar usually within seconds because otherwise people if they're waiting for the screen to change uh lots of audiences get weirded out and think that their screen froze or that they don't know when the webinar is actually going to start so I would come in right away hit them with this title say Jason flatland here today I welcome you and on behalf of Joe polish you're going to discover how to create million-dollar webinars boom then I'm going to transition the slide now I normally don't do very F fancy transitions but I always like to do that one from the first title slide to the actual um introduction of the content here and that really kind of snaps them out of what other distractions that might be going for them I think I mean that's the idea behind that and then this slide and this is usually how I start most of my presentations is I say today's agenda so say let's get on the same page together basically and in here I run through a couple bullet points very quickly I say in our small amount of time together today my goal is to make a big impact in the following ways I'm going to create confidence where there once was uncertainty I'm going to create Clarity where there once was confusion and I'm going to unlock within you the true potential to have you make your de in the universe yet if nothing else I'm here today to make you money lots and lots of it all right so that's how I start this presentation and I'm into this section and through it almost in real time as I just described it to you what we're actually doing here is I'm establishing a rhythm a tonal Rhythm which really helps to grab the audience to kind of say I don't care where you were at before you showed up to this webinar I don't know what's going on in your life right now that could be distracting you or not giving you your full attention but most people don't show up fully ready they just don't and this tonal kind of Rhythm where we're bouncing it and we're hitting them quickly and we're pushing them here really gets them on the same Pages us and really it also hits the nail and the head very quickly I get into the heart of the matter I know that the reason people are showing up for this webinar specifically for revenue and so whatever solution that you're going to offer in your webinar whatever content you're going to provide in the offer you're going to make at the end the harder you hit directly at that benefit that payoff the thing that's going to get them the most excited the better you're going to be the sooner you do that in your webinar and so that's what I've done here I've already came out with a bold promise in the first few seconds which they know every piece of content that's going to come after this is going to Rally around this point so once I get that I usually then switch to Commitment immediately in the webinar and commitment is super important I'll explain why here in a second but let me show you how I do the commitment first I said here's what I need from you I need implementation because nothing pains me more than giving you a solution yet running into you years later and you're still clinging clinging hopelessly to your problem of me showing you something today that could change your life and years later your life still isn't changed that hurts me so I need for you today to commit to me that you're going to implement and this is something that I firmly believe is very important to your success Bob Proctor who's a mentor who I've made Millions with on webinars said it best he says thoughts becomes things if you see it in your mind you will hold it in your hand so I want you to see in your mind you using what I'm going to show you here today so we can make it a reality sooner rather than later do we have a deal so that's this commitment portion of the webinar and I've done a lot of little cool things here when I've did so what I need from you so the funny thing here is most people don't directly have this conversation with their audience when they're doing a webinar I think they're taught too often to do presentations in a vacuum where there is no interaction but the webinar is a unique Beast because of the interactive factor and so I'm not just talking at them I'm having a conversation with them so I said here's what I'm going to do for you here's what I want you to do for me by committing them by giving them what the commitment is I want them to achieve which is to thinking about how they're going to use my material here's what that does commitment and consistency it's a principle by the wonderful Robert Shalini wrote the book persuasion and influence and this is where I learned this from is you help them form an identity and then they will become consistent with that identity so the identity I'm going to have them form is using my stuff and seeing how it can apply to their business so that way this is called ownership in advance that way when they see this and they see themselves using it they become an active learner not a passive listener in my webinar presentations so I'm getting them to get the first agreement with them I'm getting them to say yes to something within the first few seconds of my webinar small yeses lead to Big yeses and the biggest yes of all of course the end is yes Jason I'm going to buy from you now I did this something very subtly here where I showed them I didn't just tell them I showed me on stage with Bob Proctor who's a legend that most of my audience will recognize I also just very quickly slipped in that we've made millions of dollars together via webinars which positions me as having celebrity Authority status but I did it in a very very L lowkey way a very covert way and then this is the the commitment where I'm going to actually have them say deal now on the live webinar here's what I would probably do is I'd say oh John says yes and you know Tim says of course and Gina she says Rio I would feed back to them in real time the commitment that they're given to me to create that feeling of social proof and that feeling that yes we're ready to all be better as a result of this webinar now the next thing that I do in the introduction here is I set the stage for why this presentation is occurring a lot of people don't do that and it's weird because nobody just shows up and freely gives advice without any other motive if they do they're kind of weird right so if you don't address why you're doing what you're doing if you don't address why you're openly and freely helping them or training them or giving content and value on your webinar they're going to be skeptical or at least guarded of whatever message that you have so this is how I handled that in this introduction here I said here's how today came to be and then I showed them this first email that I got for the first ever genius Network event that I ever went to it cost $25,000 to be part of Joe polish's Genius Network and I explained this is how today came to be I signed up for Joe polish's Genius Network at the very first genius Network meeting I applied to do one of Joe's 10-minute talks that he has for people that show up and I did my 10-minute talk on how we were successfully able to promote a product launch where we generated in one week almost $10 million worth of sales and as a result of giving this 10-minute talk here's what happened member after member of Genius Network came up to me and they wanted my advice how do you do webinars Jason like I want to do webinars like you and what I did was informally just helped them out I got on the phone with them I talked to them at the genius Network meetings and I helped a lot lot of people make a lot of money doing webinars just kind of off the cuff informally so I said to myself imagine what kind of impact I could have if I actually put this into a stepbystep system so what have I done here this is kind of really we covered a lot of ground quickly which by the way when you're doing webinars you have to learn the art of simultaneously accomplishing multiple things at once because you don't have a whole lot of time a lot of people think an hour hour and a half long webinar is a lot of time it really is it especially when you're selling higher ticket goods and you're trying to get somebody in 60 to 90 minute to commit several thousand doll in this case the offer I'm selling at the end is $4,995 but here's my reason why my reason why is I came and I had an impact and it was valuable and Powerful but yet it was one to one it took a lot of effort a lot of time and it wasn't done with any actual structure and I want to do more than just kind of informally say what I do I wanted to actually put in a system and help Joe's people uh and of course I want to do it in a way that I can see results from it so that's my reason why for the day now this is very important a lot of people on webinars they just tell and they barely show if at all this really buys them into the story when I actually show the email that they sent me for my first ever event that I attended they can see the date they know this is real I did not make this story up I show them the actual email I didn't say I applied to be a a talk I didn't say I applied to do a 10-minute talk I showed them the email that they sent me where I applied to do the 10-minute talk I didn't just say we had this great campaign I showed a specific result and even highlighted it further of the result that we had and this has done a lot of stuff it's already established me as an expert it's given them a big number and they said to themselves if I can only get 10% of that I'd be happy and it's really set the stage that what I have is valuable why because because other people have found it valuable which is what this next slide does here and now when I do this the next portion you're going to see here is I put testimonials in one of the biggest mistakes I see people making on webinars is they save their testimonial for the pitch section of their webinar testimonials are kind of boring a lot of people they get very tired if they hear five or 10 or 15 testimonials in a row the problem though is that testimonials are Ultra powerful for proving that what you do works and is valuable and shows them that hey if I help people like you that probably means I can help you as well and that's what I do in this next session this next section here the introduction I said imagine what kind of impact it could have if I actually put this in a step-by-step system I say for example when I worked with Garrett informally I had helped him tremendously and now when he introduces me to people like he did in this very recent email he introduced me to an a famous individual you would know them by name maybe if I mention them and here's what he had to say Jason flyland is the best in the world at webinars he's the only person that doesn't work directly for our firm that we have promoted in the last three years and he absolutely crushed it he's brilliant you should know him and John Carter who's one of the most well-known options trading thought leaders probably the most well-known I asked him I said hey if you could say anything John about how I've helped you in webinars what would you say and this is what John said he said last year I tried with my family in Italy and I had to pass on a last minute JV opportunity Jason hit me up on Skype and asked if he could do the webinar for me since I would have to pass I thought why not when I got back from Italy we had five 1. 5 million in sales in a Tesla in the driveway so this is very very impactful for people like Garrett and people like John I want you to be the next Garrett I want you to be the next John I want you to surpass them and I feel like what we're going to do here today is going to accomplish that so this is the other part of the reason to be but what I've done here is I put two testimonials in place what I actually will do throughout the rest of the presentation is I will revisit these testimonials now this is a really interesting way of me displaying a testimonial I'm showing it not just telling about it I would have done the same thing for Garrett but unfortunately there was some of information in the email so I would have had to like cut it up whatever and I couldn't put that in place uh but I will expand on the story later I've just introduced this for now and I will expand on this story with John later but I've just introduced it for now if I told the whole story with John this testimoni would take three to five minutes instead I can do this testimonial in 30 seconds and that's really powerful but we've anchored them to this slide so when we reveal it later it'll have that same impact and then we'll build upon it and then we'll reveal it again later until more the story and build upon it and it all all together all these things will Coles into the pitch at the end so then I do how this came to be part too because I still had more reason to tell them and explain to them specifically not just wow this worked great informally let me put together a presentation formally and help them I then get even closer to the matter of actually specifically why I'm in front of them today so I tell this story about how I joined Joe's first ever I was one of the first members to join his genius X which is $100,000 a year and I sent him a text right before our first meeting ever at this 100K group where I said hey man is there anything I can do to help you make this first 100K extra awesome want me to prep anything or make a presentation and Joe asked me to talk to that audience about webinars and how I do them and how I do them so well and the voice message he sent back to me and so I showed up at 100K and in that presentation I explained to them just last week a webinar campaign that I did that only had 574 people attend but we sold 154 of them into a $112,000 Pere SAS program even though we were only supposed to sell 100 spots it sold so well that we could not stop sales fast enough to close the offer down in time so I broke down that presentation and in fact I'm going to talk more about that later to you today and the results of that is very conservatively uh probably 1. 4 million will be fully realized within 12 months would you like to know exactly how we did it okay so that portion of it how it came to be part two is basically I did this group for one you know I did the presentation for 100k and then Joe and I said well we should do this for everybody U that's what I'm going to tell them there during that section but what I did he again that should be very important to you and I can't stress this enough because so few people do this right is I'm showing I'm not telling it I didn't just say I went to 100K and ex and presented I show the text message I sent Joe I show a picture of me and Joe I show Joe's voicemail response even though I don't play it and then for the webinar that I show them the results that I'm teasing them which is an open loop by the way you want to create mystery and Intrigue in your introduction that you're going to reveal later and that's what I do here where I showed them this I actually showed the text message of my business partner explaining the CES in real time and then I show his text message here as well and we'll even expand on these later just like we're going to do on the testimonial and then that's when I say would you like to know exactly how we did that and of course the answer is yes but they don't know yet but it gives them a reason to be hooked in and pay attention for the remainder of the webinar and then the last thing I do in the introduction here is I also set forth all the other open Loops of things we're going to cover in a very tantilizing yet mysterious way in the following slid so this is how we do this I say on this webinar I'm going to give you a detailed breakdown of the webinar framework I used to generate over 100 million and cells in the last eight years I'm also going to show you how to create more buyers in the introduction the most people do during their webinar pitch I'm going to give you a webinar magic trick that helped us generate over $1.
4 million in less than 75 minutes I will mercilessly use Joe polish as a scapegoat to give you insight into a problem that puts a ceiling on your potential success sorry about this Joe I'm going to give you a Content formula so powerful you will find it useful in all areas of your business not just webinars I'm going to explain to you a mistake you're most likely committing right now and it's robbing you blind I'm going to give you a pitch formula for your webinars that is so fill-in the blanks yet so profitable and then after that I break down and I start transitioning from the introduction into the actual content portion of my webinar but this is what we've accomplished in the webinar and I'm going to go all the way back to the beginning here so you can see how much we covered in so little time and this is what a powerful introduction would look like so here I am at the title slide I set the day's agenda very quickly we hit through that right and then I tie it down to the big benefit why they're there I get commitment for them in this case through the implementation get them to say yes I set the stage the reason why I'm in front of them today I'm showing not telling I'm putting in results I'm positioning myself next to celebrities and in addition to that I'm putting in testimonials in the introduction here and then I'm getting very specific about how this actually came to be at the at the actual level and I'm putting in my own personal results my own proof and that's been spread throughout the introduction in various different places as well set an open loop here and then I'm I broke down everything I'm going to show them on the webinar in bullet point format with images and slides that tease them by the way this one right here I didn't even mention to you this is part of the product we're selling at the end so they've seen glimpses of the product already whether they know it or not in the first few minutes of their webinar and then we start to go into the content portion of the presentation so hopefully you find some value in this today to so you can see the psychology behind how this is structured and I think you would agree with me we probably do more here in a few minutes than most people do in a half hour or whole hour of the webinar and that just sits the stage now I haven't done this webinar yet and I haven't even finished a lot of the webinar at this point so I and I didn't have the time to set together some fancy lead capture page to send you to to optin to get the downloads from this in the full webinar later and any analysis I'll do from it but I figured since RL is going to put the article out here very shortly why not just write us at support if you want to when the thing is done I'll send it to you so you can see the whole thing get the whole puzzle support. ridc crush. com just go there it's our support our help desk we're a pretty big company we have a lot of uh staff that is dedicated to support we're pretty quick about responses so I'll tell my team I'll say hey if you came and you saw it from this video from the Forbes article uh just let these people know as soon as this thing is done send it to them and they can see the rest of it and if you need anything else from us if you want anything at all if you want to know what we're about if you want to talk to me about some things we could potentially do together if you just want to say hi I encourage you to write support.
