Good luck at school today. 24° out. Is it really?
Oh my god, it's so cold. All right, we got a 15-minute walk. Look, guys.
What's up, everybody? My name is Max Risinger and I just moved to the south of France. Today's going to be my first day at French public school and I'm excited to take you guys along.
This is the view from this morning. Super beautiful out and super chilly. Um I think it's 24° out right now and I'm definitely feeling that [Applause] [Music] gum is outlawed in French schools, but we're going to do it anyways.
Not during class, but you never know when you have bad breath. My laptop is at like 5% battery, so I'm going to let that charge. Leave my backpack here and I'm going to get some heat.
[Music] Nathan Ring, I saw your comment about cracking eggs open with one hand, but that's just not going to happen, buddy. [Music] Um, school's starting at 9:00 today. I'm not sure if that happens every day or if it's just something that happens on Fridays.
I think it's around 8. Yeah, 8:05. Um, and I'm going to eat up and then walk over there to get there a little bit early.
So, I'm given a proper tour guide to my class because otherwise I'm going to be really lost. French Vikings. [Music] I saw that.
[Applause] [Music] And if you're wondering if I'm nervous, excited, scared, you know, I'm feeling everything. Um, not feeling too scared, though. I mean, not yet, at least.
Beautiful light this morning. Also, if you're wondering what I'm wearing for the first day, um I'm not wearing this hat because it's apparently illegal to wear in school and jeans like a shoe. The famous gate psych.
We're not going to give away the password to my gate. I'm front of the house. It's looking beautiful.
So is the sky this morning. And so is my gate. All right, my gate.
The hill that I walk up every day is super steep and that's just going to be okay. Um, I'm starting to feel a little bit nervous now. I just saw like a horde of like 20 French kids just cross my street, but it's fine.
As Mr Mle said, I'm American, you know. Yeah. Light is just beautiful.
beautiful. There's the bunch of kids. There's so many of them and they're all like two lines.
It's super weird. Cars [Music] the roundabout circle right at the bottom of the streets. And there's a track where I work out.
Military school. Thank god I'm not going there. So, this street is beautiful and when it blooms in the spring, it's going to be amazing.
Yep, that's bug. Also, my school has like a big gate around it and so I'm going to have to use my identity card to get in through the gates. [Music] Um, the one thing is I'm going to have to be filming in school and around everyone, so they're probably going to think I'm super weird, but that's okay.
I don't care. Police and pigeons. I hope it's just my teachers are chill with me like filming little things in class.
But of course, I'm going to pay attention. But, you know, here and there. That building is going to be my school.
Now that I feel my or now that I see my school, I'm actually kind of nervous now. It's okay. It's going to be fine.
Heat. Heat. N.
[Music] What's getting better? [Music] [Music] Bye-bye. [Laughter] [Music] Time to go to history.
[Music] American. [Music] [Music] Do you wish Last [Music] [Applause] [Music] heat. [Music] [Music] [Music] Come on.
Come on. for me. [Music] feel Hey, [Music] I love you.
I love you. [Music] Max. [Music] He's having [Music] something.
[Music] Oh, [Music] [Music] No. [Music] There's some nice girls. Sorry I didn't talk much cuz it would have been weird.
But French kids are so much worse than American. Wednesday. I only have 2 hours of school, bro.
