I think it's like a need in Sicily in general. Um, because you know, Sicily is all about the sweets for breakfast and when you weren't raised that way, it's hard. But, um, and then they close for 3 hours in the afternoon, right?
So, if you're hungry at 2:00, you're like, crap, what am I going to do? So, I made it today at the restaurant. Hold on.
I made it before, too. Had that delicious pasta. The ricotta was like just out of this world.
And I love how they cook with how they cook with um olive oil here, but it's not heavy. Sometimes when you cook with olive oil in the States, it just feels like just feels heavy. But it's delicious olive oil.
And it's been cold, y'all. I'm not going to lie. I never thought it could be this cold here.
So that's interesting to navigate as well. But um one thing I was talking to friends was we come here for this unhurried life, but there's just such a tension because our nervous system is kind of wrecked and so used to go go and getting things done and a little entitlement too. I have to say that here schedules are just suggestions.
