the movie revolves around a 70-year-old retired manager who goes for internship to newly established online e-commerce company being an old school and completely ignorant of the modern tech he is ignored by everyone at the start including the founder and CEO of the company but he has to make his way through this and make himself an important person among all the employees of the company but how let's find out Ben Whitaker is a widower who feels barded in his retirement and wants to find out a meaningful way to spend his time he goes to Yuga classes cook for himself went on a trip around the world took some Mandarin classes and go outside to hang out with his friends he says that when he returns home it's like a ton of breaks that hit him one day while shopping he sees an advertisement that an online tech company wants senior citizens as interns so he applies for the internship at the company and as per requirements he makes a video resume where he explains why he can be a useful addition to the team he is called for interview at the company which is a successful online clothing retailer called about the fit the founder and CEO of the company is Jules Austin a young and dynamic woman who has built her business from her kitchen to a large office with hundreds of employees in just 18 months she's always on the go dealing with issues taking calls and to save time and remain fit she rides a bicycle around the office she hardly has time to enjoy her achievements or to connect with her loved ones Ben arrives at the office where he sees that all of the employees are working on computers some of them are graphic designer some do coding and some of them contacting clients it's a complete strange environment for him as he didn't use to work on a computer before he has been asked by the receptionist to wait until someone comes for him and pick him for interview then goes to the waiting area where he sees a lot of senior folks waiting for interview Ben is interviewed by several people and all of them are very impressed by his background and enthusiasm he tells them that he used to work for a phone book company which makes them realize how much the world has changed he also confesses that he doesn't have a long-term plan but he wants to learn new things and help the company he is liked by all the interviewers and thus he gets the job then we see Cameron who is the vice president of the company as asking jwes that they talked about the senior citizen's internship and they have hired a few individuals she is not happy with the idea as she says that she is not comfortable with elder people but Cameron convinces her that they talked about it and she approved it she is shocked when Cameron says that she will have one of the internes as her assistant she feels hesitant to have a senior person around as she thinks that he will interfere with her work or slow her down she asks how long she has to keep him and is told that it's 6 weeks minimum she wonders how she will manage with having an intern who is older than her then is excited to go to office at the first day and therefore gets up early in the morning wear a suit and arrive at the office early all of the internees are given a space and they tell them to wait for the emails which will give them their assigned Department all of the other attorneys are assigned to their respective departments but Ben is still waiting for his email Jason who is one of the employees at ATF showed him the other interns Doris and Davis they came from different places and had different talents but they all loved fashion he sees that Davis had many gadgets on his desk while he only has a pin a notebook a calculator and a table clock he wonders if he was out of touch with this modern company but he soon realized that the other workers were very kind and supportive they taught him how to use the computer and the software and gave him advice on how to thrive in the dynamic environment he receives an email at 10:00 a. m. that he had to see jwes the founder and CEO of the company exactly at 3:55 p.

full-time dad he is supportive but saddened that the CEO thing is not working out he is very caring to their daughter who seemed happy and loved Jules dozed off in PA's bed and when she goes to Matt he is asleep and too exhausted to make glove the next day it's too early and Ben is sleeping that Becky calls him and tells him that jules's driver is still not feeling well so he has to drive her to as he cannot come to New York Matt excuses himself that he has to attend page school function he asks her to take Ben but she says that Ben has his own life Ben says that it's okay he will accompany her to San Francisco as Ben drives her to work Jewels tries to deal with a problem with one of her customers she attempts to suit them but they are Furious and unreasonable she is under pressure and swamped as she looks at her phone and sees a missed call from her mom the voicemail from her mother is the last one Jules is sick of hearing her constant complaints and judgments about her life she typed an angry email to Matt telling him how fed up she is with her mother's meddling and negativity she pressed send without looking at the address she gasped when she saw that she had sent it to her mother by mistake she asked her co-workers for help Ben who understood her predicament offers to go to her mother's house and delete the email from her computer before she returned from work at 5:30 p. m.
