[Music] the real reason why many will not enter Heaven in Matthew 7: 13 and 14 enter by the narrow gate for wide is the gate and Broad is the way that leads to destruction and there are many who go in by it because narrow is the gate and difficult is the way which leads to life and there are few who find it what Jesus means by these words is telling us that there are two paths in life one leading to destruction and the other to life the concept of exclusivity is a challenging one presented by
Jesus himself he tells us that the path to eternal life is exclusive and not easily found in a world that often celebrates inclusivity and openness it is crucial for us to understand that when it comes to our Salvation not everyone will enter the Kingdom of Heaven Jesus calls us to recognize that only a few will discover and follow the path to Salvation this truth is both sobering and humbling consider the contrast between popularity and righteousness the wide gate and spacious path symbolize the appeal of conforming to social norms and indulging in worldly pleasures these Temptations
may be attractive leading us away from the Narrow Path of Righteousness the Broadway may seem easier to Traverse filled with immediate gratifications but it leads to spiritual destruction a path chosen by many driven by the desire to fit in and seek approval from the world in contrast the narrow gate and the Narrow Path represent the path of righteousness this path is not always popular and can be challenging to follow requiring High discipline self-sacrifice and a deep commitment to God's will yet it leads to etern our life the path of discipleship where we take up our
cross daily and follow Jesus it's a path where we prioritize our relationship with God above all else these verses compel us to honestly examine our lives are we walking the wide and easy path driven by the desire of the Flesh and seeking the world's approval or are we on the Narrow Path seeking righteousness and eternal life it's a question each of us must answer and the response matters not only for our Earthly Journey but for our eternity choosing the narrow gate means choosing Christ embracing his teachings and living a life of faith and obedience it
means rejecting the Allure of popularity and standing firm in our commitment to the kingdom of God it might be a lonely path at times but it leads to the Abundant Life promised by our savior as we meditate on these words let us remember that the choice is ours Jesus invites us to enter through the narrow gate to follow him on the difficult path and to discover the profound beauty of a life lived in his presence may we have the courage to make that choice for it leads to eternal life a choice that will never leave
us wanting the Apostle Paul in Galatians 1110 declares for do I now persuade men or God or do I seek to please men for if I still pleased men I would not be a bonder servant of Christ Paul's words Echo the sentiments of our Lord Jesus in Matthew they remind us that the narrow path though often met with resistance and even hostility from the world is the path worth choosing it's the path where we prioritize our relationship with Christ above all even if it means being hated by the world in a world driven by the
pursuit of popularity recognition and approval from others we must stand firm in our commitment to Christ we should boldly declare I prefer to have Jesus and be hated by the entire world than to be be loved by the world and not have Jesus our faith in Christ must be unshakable our Allegiance Resolute and our hearts focused on seeking his approval above all the love and approval of the world may be fickle temporary and often based on worldly standards in contrast the love of Jesus is firm unwavering and eternal it's a love that surpasses all understanding
and fulfills the deepest longings of of our souls the path that leads to destruction is Broad and easy and many choose to follow it this path is characterized by selfishness sin and Rebellion against God those on this path are often driven by their own desires and Ambitions with little regard for God or his will in contrast the path that leads to life is narrow and challenging it is characterized by selflessness obedience to God and a willingness to sacrifice for his sake those on this path acknowledge their own sinfulness recognize the need for salvation and trust
in Jesus Christ as their lord and savior they seek to follow him and live according to his teachings even when it is difficult the wide gate and broad path should open our eyes for wide is the gate and spacious is the way that leads to destruction and many are those who enter by it it is easy to go to hell just follow the current of this world just follow the ways of this world everything this world promotes leads people to destruction the world promotes promiscuity leading to destruction the world promotes immorality leading to destruction the
world promotes the destruction of the institution of marriage leading to destruction the world promotes people focusing only on the desires of their fles leading to destruction the God of this world is Fallen the God of this world is Satan the Bible tells us this unfortunately most Christians when they think of Satan acting on Earth think of demons evil spirits and Paranormal Activity but that is only one level of the operation of this satanic being when you look at Satan and this world don't just think of demons evil spirits and Paranormal Activity don't just think about
the occult Witchcraft and rituals you also have to look at the world's systems the God of this world is Satan and the world's systems are pushing his agendas when the devil took the Lord Jesus Christ to a very high mountain and showed him all the kingdoms of the world and their Splendor and said all this I will give you if you will Bow Down and Worship me it was not an empty boast the kingdoms of this world belong to him and they are his to give just look at the world's system we live in culture
excludes God and scriptures from daily conversations not only does culture exclude God but it becomes outright hostile When you mention God or Jesus Christ this is true in the news in politics in academic communities and in workplaces this is not accidental 1 John 2:15 17 says do not love the world or the things in the world if anyone loves the world the love of the father is not in him for all that is in the world the lust of the flesh the lust of the eyes and the pride of life is not of the father
but is of the world and the world is passing away and the lust of it but he who does the will of God abides forever in 1 John 2 where it says do not love the world or the things in the world the writer is not referring to the physical world the Earth sea trees and plants he is referring to the World Systems the God of this world has deceived the world and its people into trying to live and function apart from God the reason I say he deceived them is that the truth is that
no person on this Earth is functioning outside of God without God their hearts would not beat another beat without God nothing could EX exist the God of this world has deceived the world and its people Satan's World system is a buffet that offers something for everyone who rejects God whether that person is moral or immoral religious or irreligious educated or simple rich or poor the God of this world has something for everyone but why do so many people choose the broad path that leads to destruction the main reason is that this path is easier and
more comfortable it allows us to indulge in our desires while living for ourselves without having to confront our own sinfulness or submit to God's will this path allows us to feed the Flesh and all its desires and Cravings this path is the goahead path today I feel like fornicating goahead today I feel like committing adultery go ahead today I feel like sewing Discord among people go ahead today I feel like destroying a marriage go ahead today I feel like manipulating people to do what I want go ahead this path allows people to live however they
want without the fear of God this path allows people to live a life without thinking about the fact that one day they will be judged another reason is that many people are deceived they may think they are on the right path this is what I said before Satan's World system is a buffet that offers something for everyone who rejects God the God of this world has something for everyone many people in the world today do not like to be corrected when they are wrong they are full of Pride and often justify their actions when you
choose the path of life you must be ready to accept correction however this is something that many cannot Embrace this is why they choose to go in a direction where they will not be held accountable for their actions and that is the broad path the broad path allows you to dictate your own life true salvation puts you on the Narrow Path salvation introduces you to the family of God a God who cares about how you live your life a God who interferes in your Affairs yes you may deviate from the path sometimes but your general
direction is towards that path the narrow path is a path that forces you not to be selfish many people will not go to heaven because they are selfish sin makes you selfish they only think about themselves and not others God instructs us to love others as Christ loved us but almost everyone says they are taking care of their own business they do not care about what happens to their neighbors their relatives or other people around them there is no love in their hearts they have broken God's greatest commandment lack of forgiveness is another factor that
leads people to the broad path many people Harbor for resentment bitterness anger and vengeful attitudes remember that the Bible says we cannot be forgiven of our sins if we do not forgive others those who find it difficult to forgive others still carry the burden of their own sins and sin is the path to hell and eternal fire many will be surprised to find that their names are absent from The Book of Life you will be among the number of saints who will March joyfully to heaven let's look at things as they are listed in the
scriptures of people who will not go to heaven the famous Greek scholar calls this list the call of The Condemned 1 Corinthians 6:9 and 10 say do you not know that the unrighteous will not inherit the kingdom of God do not be deceived neither fornicators nor idolators nor adulterers nor homosexuals nor sodomites nor thieves nor Covetous nor drunkards nor revilers nor extortioners will inherit the kingdom of God the 10 things mentioned in 1 Corinthians 6 are the list of things that people in the world today love to do people have become perverse and all they
want to do are things that are ungodly the desires of the Flesh and the pressure of worldly pleasures have overcome the desire for God's righteousness in humanity Jesus made it clear when talking about the people who will inherit the kingdom of God God they are those who are poor in spirit Matthew 53 blessed are the poor in spirit for theirs is the Kingdom of Heaven the poor in spirit are those whose hearts are focused on the teachings of the Lord they are people who are always hungry and thirsty for the message of Christ always eager
to learn and hear the word of God the opposite of this is true people who will not go to heaven are those who are always full of spirit they have no time for God they have prioritized and valued other things instead of God the word of God has no meaning in their lives and the teachings of Jesus are like noise to them how can we be sure that we are on the narrow path that leads to life we cannot earn our way to heaven through our own good works or efforts instead we must trust in
Jesus Christ and his sacrifice on the cross for our sins we must repent of our sins and commit Our Lives to him as our Lord and savior we must seek to follow Jesus believe in him and live according to his teachings this involves reading and studying the Bible praying and having fellowship with a community of believers who can support and encourage our faith we must also seek to obey God's will in our daily lives finally we must share the message of the Gospel with others we cannot keep this good news to ourselves we must share
it with those around us so that they too can have the opportunity to choose the narrow path that leads to Life In This Moment of introspection let us seriously consider where our steps have taken us May the grace and mercy of God guide us back to the Narrow Path whenever we deviate and may the Holy Spirit strengthen us on the journey to towards eternal life let us remember that choosing to seek God and his righteousness is not just a one-time act but a daily decision reflected in every aspect of Our Lives let us commit to
living according to the values of the kingdom of God rejecting The Temptations of the world that pull us away from Love and Truth May our walk be marked by faith Love and Hope in Christ knowing that although the Narrow Path may be challenging it leads to the pres of God where we will find true peace joy and ultimately eternal life and today if you desire to reconcile with our Savior Jesus Christ because you have strayed from the paths or want to start a new Journey towards Eternal salvation comment below I accept you Lord Jesus as
